It wasn’t easy.

“...first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.”
 - Mark 4:28 (KJV)

7. Born in Southsburg, Austria, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart died just 35 years later in Vienna. Although he was one of history's greatest composers, Mozart once said, "It is a mistake to think that the practice of my art has become easy to me. I assure you, dear friend, no one has given so much care to the study of composition as I." It didn't come easy to Mozart, and faith doesn't come easy either. Jesus described the work of the gospel in life as "first, the blade, then the ear," after that the full corn in the ear, Mark 4.28. Today, take steps of growth. As you learn to surrender more to Jesus, God will work in your life. Don't expect sanctification to happen overnight. Be patient with yourself as you develop as a Christian. Put your feet in the soil of the Word of God, spend time in the Son of righteousness, and grow as God works in you. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written. (upbeat music)
