Your Actions Affect Others
The Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda, population right around 100,000, is about 300 miles from Puerto Rico. In 2006, the Antigua government knighted American businessman Alan Stanford, but six years later, he was found guilty in a U.S. court of running a Ponzi scheme through his Antigua-based bank. Once a philanthropist and patron of West Indian cricket, Stanford was sentenced to 110 years in prison, and little Antigua, which would prefer to be remembered for its famous, favorite son, Cricketa Savivian Richards, received a black eye at neither wanted nor needed. Your actions affect others. Acans' dishonesty brought the judgment of God upon a nation. David's misdeeds brought calamity. For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself, Romans 14-7. Keep in mind that your careless actions don't only impact you, but others also. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written. [MUSIC PLAYING]
