Mookie, this is not nom, this is bowling, there are rules. 10-10-8, Junior! America! It's like... FASTEST! So stand by! Alright, everybody, welcome back to the Steak for Breakfast podcast. I'm Ron Lewis here with me. Yo, if you're a first-time listener, welcome to the show, if you're a long-time listener, welcome back to America's fastest growing. And quickly becoming favorite political podcast. On the back end of two Tuesday editions of the show today, consequently, if you're listening to this one for the first time, we'll see you in a bit, press pause, go back and check episode 4.56. It was our first of two podcasts today. We sat down with the infamous Roger Stone, caught up with South Carolina Congressman Ralph Norman, started to unpack the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump's life, which happened over the weekend, and recapped remarks that he delivered in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well. We're going to be jumping into it to start off our second edition of the podcast today, talking about a very busy JD Vance heavy Sunday morning news circuit. Now, know it, if you're a news agency or outlet, and you're inviting somebody onto the show, let's just say the Republican vice presidential nominee for an interview. The first thing that you would do as a journalist is probably, from top to bottom, just start to attack him, correct? Oh, of course. Why wouldn't you, right? No, I mean, that would be par for the course recently, though. JD Vance has turned out to be quite the pick as he is able to handle all of these fake news narrative interviews that he subjects himself to, and I think that's the point that I want to make. JD Vance is still going on places like CNN's State of the Fake Union, and this week in fake news on ABC as well. We're going to start off with CNN, Dana Vash, remember whose ex-husband was one of the 51 former intelligence officials who signed off on the Hunter Biden laptop document, circulated by now Secretary of State Tony Blinken during the 2020 presidential election cycle. Just let that soak in, as we frequently remind you guys here. This is her sitting down trying to fact check JD Vance on some of the, well, absolute disastrous news that's been coming out of places like Springfield, Ohio lately. Just check it out. Dana, first of all, let me just respond to a couple of things that you said, but I want to start with something you said, which I think is frankly disgusting and is more appropriate for democratic propagandists than it is for an American journalist. There is nothing that I have said that has led to threats against these hospitals. These hospitals, the bomb threats and so forth, it's disgusting. The violence is disgusting. We can dim it. We can dim all violence threats. But to say, no, no, Dana, no, Dana, to say, Dana, you asked a question, Dana, and I'm going to go ahead and answer it, after that, they were, what we have said is that this town has suffered terribly under the policies of Kamala Harris. Now, you just accused me of inciting violence against the community when all that I've done is surface the complaints of my constituents, people who are suffering because of Kamala Harris's policies. Are we not allowed to talk about these problems because some psychopaths are threatening violence? We can condemn the violence on the one hand, but also talk about the terrible consequences of Kamala Harris's open border. On the other hand, now, let me just fact check a couple of other things that you said, Dana, because it's important. You said that all of these migrants are in the country legally. They're in the country. They're here freaking out right now. Do something. Do something. Kamala Harris waved a magic amnesty wand, taking people and giving them legal status. That is not a, that is not to say that they're here legally. That is a terrible indictment of her amnesty policies that have further opened the border and further calls. But they're not, but it's not illegal. It might be a migration. It says they're me timbers. I got to give her the full one. Unfortunately, we have two more clips of that. So now what we're trying to say that it's, that, that they're not here illegally? Okay. Technicality. Right. That's what it is. It's open invited to be here. Did you see the Biden flight numbers that came out today? Let me guess they've gone up. Of course not because they're not being reported in the news anywhere. Just this year, 1.3 million people from the four countries, including Haiti, Venezuela, Cuba, and one other insignificant ones where the gang members and cartel members and mentally insane are being flown here by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and distributed mostly in Republican states all over the country. You know, and that's the first thing. Did you see Noah or catch any of the news related to the Ohio governor, Mike DeWine's press conference yesterday, when he addressed the calls for violence, which include bomb threats to hospitals, state and city related facilities, and public schools throughout the state. What is, what do the bomb threats have to do with the illegal immigrants? Well now they're saying, since Donald Trump and JD Vance began talking about this and, you know, making the cat memes, they're eating the dogs, they're eating the cats, these calls for violence have started in Ohio. But here's the thing. During his press conference yesterday, Governor Mike DeWine said. Oh, I figured it out. I figured it out. Sorry to interrupt. Go. It's because of all the doctors and lawyers. Oh, don't forget the engineers. Yeah. So here's the thing. Those doctors at the hospital. He said the state have identified 33 calls for violence, or bomb threats to state facilities, hospitals, or schools. He also said all 33 threats came from an international entity outside of the United States and have nothing to do with people threatening violence in Ohio, or anything that Donald Trump and JD Vance has had to say. So whether it's China or Iran or Russia, manufactured, it's a complete fake. They won't go and see the actual Haitian illegals there eating cats and ducks and geese. But they will, without knowing anything about it, say that Donald Trump and JD Vance are inciting violence, which again, materialized into something kinetic over the weekend. And it doesn't even make sense unless these threats on these hospitals and stuff are worth threatening these locations in order to push the government, the local government to stop doing what they're doing. Like, is there a request that's being made? Is there their demands for these threats? He was very vague about it. You know, the entirety of the time he talked about it was a one minute and 33 second clip. It was bad audio because it looked like it was right outside of his office that he was delivering remarks to a gaggle, but so I didn't pull it, but you know, you get the gist of it there. These are not organically produced in the United States from people who are mad that JD Vance and Donald Trump are saying these things. It's coming from an outside international entity and has nothing to do with the Trump campaign. JD Vance would continue down that path and actually record for the cat meme narrative. In the next clip I've got, let's hear it. We ignored by the American media until Donald Trump and I started surfacing some of these concerns, is that they can't afford housing, they can't afford healthcare. The schools have been overwhelmed, the hospitals have been overwhelmed, and they're overwhelmed because Kamala Harris allowed 20,000 Haitian migrants to get dropped into a small Ohio town of about 40,000 people and it's completely overwhelmed the services. Now you ask, why have I talked about some of the things that I've been talking about? Let me just say this, my constituents have brought approximately a dozen separate concerns to me, 10 of them are verifiable and confirmable, and a couple of them I talk about because my constituents are telling me firsthand that they're seeing these things. So I have two options, Dana, I can ignore them, which is what the American media has done for years to this community, or I can actually talk about what people are telling me. And of course, many of the things that the media says are completely baseless have since been confirmed. For example, I was told, Dana, that the American, by the American media, that it was baseless that migrants were capturing the geese from the local park pond and eating them, and yet there are 911 calls from well before this ever became a viral sensation of people complaining about that exact thing happening. So my attitude is listen to my constituents, sometimes they're going to say things that people don't like, but they're saying things that people don't like because their town has been overwhelmed and it's my job to try to fight for them and to protect them. Kamala Harris opened the border and now these people are suffering, that's what I'm focused on, Dana. Senator, I have to go through several things that you do. You want to know what? And she would go through some things, including those encircling the viral, they're eating the cats, they're eating the dog meme that have, you know, turned into a phenomenon on places like TikTok and Instagram, and when she was done long windedly, sticking up for ABC and David Muir and the media apparatus, which protects Kamala Harris, JD Vance ended the interview in a way that, well, I think we could really appreciate on places like this here at stake for breakfast, calling her out for her crap interview that she had with Kamala Harris a week ago, when instead of asking her about anything relevant to the campaign, past dances on policies, or where she plans to go on in a potential Harris Waltz administration moving forward, giving her multiple choice questions in real time so she can pick one that's most comfortable for her. Let's check it out. And they're telling me this stuff is happening, Dana, would you like to ask me questions and then let me answer them, or would you like to debate me on these topics? I noticed that when you had Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz, you gave them multiple choice answers to the questions that you asked, and you allowed them to answer the questions. I'm happy to be here to talk about policy, but if you're going to interrupt me every single time that I open my mouth, then why am I even doing this? So please ask a question, and I'd ask you to be polite enough to let me answer it. Yes, I am, and I think that, well, what do you think, Noah? Gotcha, bitch! JD Vance wasn't done there. He would leave CNN studios, and I believe via remote for this one, head over to Fake News ABC, where he sat down with Never Trumper, a member of the woman who verbally accosted President Trump when he went to the National Association of Black Journalists, luncheon, Kristen Welker, and she, having seen what already happened on CNN's State of the Fake New Union, wanted to, at least, bring up again violence that was being spun by the Trump campaign in regards to what's going on in Ohio on NBC's Meet the Fake Press. Let's check it out. Well, two important points here, Kristen. First of all, I have heard firsthand from multiple constituents. People who made 911 calls a month ago, a year ago, who were making these complaints, I trust my constituents more than I do the American media that has shown no interest in what's happened in Springfield until we started sharing cat memes on the internet, which is disgraceful that the American media ignored this town, and that's the most important part. Kamala Harris' open border, Kristen, has led to skyrocketing housing costs in Springfield, rising rates of crime, rising rates of communicable diseases. They have dropped 20,000 immigrants into a town of 40,000, and it's caused a coast of social problems. And we should be talking about why Kamala Harris has done this to this small town, and the media and the Democrats ignored it for an entire year. Kristen, I was talking about this on the Senate committee months ago, nobody would pay attention to it until we started sharing the 911 calls of people in Springfield saying the migrants are eating the geese. I think that's really, really shameful that no one cared about it or paid attention to it. And Senator officials, the mayor, other local officials have said there's just no- Hey, oh, lady. Clear your fucking throat. Did you hear? I was wondering if that's- what about the city officials? Yeah. They're appointed by the Democrat constituents who are, you know, sitting in those portions of the state right now. And again, for people who are thinking that it's not going on, American citizens are losing their houses, they're losing their social benefits, they're losing their state benefits, their schools are being overran and their hospitals are getting destroyed in addition to all the crap that's going on in the community, the car accidents, the thefts, the assaults, and obviously the eating of the pets, which is definitely happening. I've seen it at too many city council meetings in town halls. I've seen it of- I've heard too many 911 audio transcripts online to not think that in some context over the course of the last two years that this hasn't happened. It has. And we are going to get a much more definitive picture on it in the next week because we're going to be having some people descending on small town Ohio. I think some people forget now is the vice presidential candidate. JD Vance is a senator from Ohio and this falls under his constituency and he will be going there this week. Someone else who plans on heading out to Ohio as well, we haven't seen him on the campaign trail as much lately, but it looks like he's getting activated and going to be a lot more active moving forward. Today is former presidential candidate, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswami coming in hot this weekend, talking about two different kinds of deportations that need to happen the moment Donald Trump is sworn in. Let's check it out. It means we believe in the rule of law. And I say this, like so many of you here as the kid of legal immigrants do this country. That means your first act of entering this country cannot break the law. And that is why we will use our own military at our own southern border. And you know what? If we've had the largest influx of illegals into this country, we will have the largest mass deportation in American history. That's now racist. That's not xenophobic. It's what it means to stand for the rule of law in the United States of America. What does it mean to be American? It means the people we elect to run the government ought to be the ones who actually run the government. Not the shadow government in the deep state, the three letter agencies that are running the show today, which actually reminds me of the second mass deportation we need in this country. It's not just millions of illegals out of the United States. It's millions of unelected federal bureaucrats out of Washington, DC. That is how you drain the swamp. I like that Noah. I like it. Yeah, not bad. Nobody likes federal bureaucrats, unelected ones as well. Donald Trump put out a post via his Twitter account this weekend shortly after JD Vance got done laying waste to the Sunday morning news circuit, and I'm going to read it right here. As president, I will immediately end the migrant invasion of America. We will stop all Biden migrant flights and end all illegal entries, terminate the Kamala phone app for smuggling illegals in parentheses, CBP one app, revoke deportation immunity, suspend refugee resettlement, and return Kamala's illegal migrants to their home countries in parentheses, also known as reimmigration. I will save our cities and towns in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and all across America, MAGA 2024. I heard that Donald Trump is going to be making a trip out to Ohio as well in the very near future, and he wants to get to the bottom of exactly what's going on out there so he can clearly continue to campaign on it as part of his policy platform moving forward and heading towards election day. Guys, wherever you're listening to this show today, welcome the second of two big Tuesday editions of stake for breakfast. So they had some swanky dinner for the democrats this weekend. I don't even know what the premise of it was, Noah, but Joe Biden and Kamala Harris both spoke at it. I know you probably saw the memes going around online where Kamala Harris looked like she was dressed in a Missy Elliot style garbage bag. Ooh, what was that from Zoolander? Yes. Oh man, and you know, when you talk about, I mean, Joe Biden's a sitting president of the United States, but would you believe they made him go before Kamala Harris? I just remember what it was derelict. There you go. I'm going to have to pull that cook for the end of the show now. Thanks a lot. Black tie affair and Joe Biden not knowing that the next morning, someone would take a second attempt on Donald Trump's life was out there doing what he always does, causing division with hateful rhetoric and even though Donald Trump has been one of the hugest supporters of African American and Latino American, people here in the United States, Joe Biden continues to spew the fake lies and the media continues to run it on a 24/7 loop. Let's hear it. My president, my president are called the insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol on January 6th Patriots. But when peaceful protesters marched for justice for George Floyd, Trump wanted to send in the military, but they wouldn't go. Did you hear that? He said immigrants, black and brown immigrants, poisoned the blood of our country. Right now, his runnymaids attacking Harry Haitian Americans in Ohio. It's wrong. It's got to stop. Does it Joe? That's exactly how I heard it too, you know, yeah, he called the insurrectionist Patriots while people who peacefully marched for George Floyd were threatened to be taken down by the US military, but they refused to go. I don't know how many things in that just one sentence I said never happened and aren't true. But the sitting resident of the United States can go to a swanky, elitist, democrat donor dinner and say that stuff and it gets broadcast on TV for 12 hours straight. Yeah. And it's exactly what is feeding people the mentally unwell in this country who continue to buy into this narrative. And listen, a threat to democracy and world security who's going to shred the Constitution and be a dictator on day one for a complete low IQ retard. That is enough for them to do what two people have now done recently as attempted assassins looking to take out Donald Trump and the fact that they have no remorse and just no pathway to an off ramp to get off of this rhetoric is that is the centerpiece of the campaign because it's not policy driven. I don't see it getting any better, which scares me in the least. Paul Harris would come on next. And even though she didn't really say anything relevant or intelligent, she did bust out a completely new accent. You ready for this one, Noah? Oh, yeah. Let's hear it. Let me just say about Joe Biden. Hello. My nine brothers and sisters and my soror, and to all my HBCU brothers and sisters. Why do you need to laugh throughout that entire thing? It sounds so weird and ridiculous. I really do think there is an earpiece going on and people are like urging her to do the accent and she's laughing because the retards are gobbling it up as she's saying it even though she'll go to a place like Michigan or Wisconsin and say brothers and sisters and then go to a place like Georgia and say brothers and sisters and people will just clap like seals. It's sad. Again, how much more will black America tolerate this complete lack of respect for essentially the race as Kamala Harris does what she does out on the campaign trail? I did talk about that interview she did with a local Pennsylvania news outlet over the weekend. I have both clips pulled and we're going to listen to them in their entirety. First the clip that leaked online, which was him asking Kamala Harris a question on the economy and her complete answer, which wasn't one, no shocker there. And then how they aired the interview question on their news program later that night. So we're going to check this out right now. I'll just play them back to back and you could try to find the differences. Let's check it out. When we talk about bringing down prices and making life more affordable for people, what are one or two specific things you have in mind for that? Well, I'll start with this. I grew up a middle class kid. My mother raised my sister in me. She worked very hard. She was able to finally save up enough money to buy our first house when I was a teenager. Is that an answer or no? I grew up in a community of heart working people, you know, construction workers and new nurses and teachers. I try to explain to some people who may not have had the same experience, you know, but a lot of people will relate to this. I grew up in a neighborhood of folks who are very proud of their lawn, you know? And I was raised to believe and to know that all people deserve dignity. And that we as Americans have a beautiful character. You know, we have ambitions and aspirations and dreams. But not everyone necessarily has access to the resources that can help them fuel those dreams and ambitions. So when I talk about building an opportunity economy, it is very much with the mind of investing in the ambitions and aspirations and the incredible work ethic of the American people. So you heard that, right? What did she say? Absolutely nothing. Especially for how they aired that interview question in their actual reports of this is what the news consumer saw, both in the evening and the 11 p.m. Newscaster. Are you ready? Let's check it out. When we talk about bringing down prices and making life more affordable for people, what are one or two specific things you have in mind for that? So when I talk about building an opportunity economy, it is very much with the mind of investing in the ambitions and aspirations and the incredible work ethic of the American people and creating opportunity for people, for example, to start a small business. So my opportunity economy plan includes giving startups a $50,000 tax deduction to start their small business. It used to be $5,000. Nobody can start a small business with $5,000. Opportunity economy. You're on the touch on this. Look, we don't have enough housing in America. We have a housing supply shortage. And what that means, in particular for so many younger Americans, the American dream is elusive. It's just actually not attainable to help people who just want to get their foot in the door literally. And so giving first-time home buyers a $25,000 down payment assistance, another plan that I have that is a new approach is to expand the child tax credit to $6,000 for young families for the first year of their child's life. So there you have it. In the first clip, he asked her, "What the actual fuck does an opportunist economy mean?" She went on for over a minute to talk about where she was raised, which isn't the truth. She was raised in Montreal, Canada, not in the suburbs of San Francisco. Different people in her community, what lawns looked like in her neighborhood or her fake neighborhood as we've been able to establish here on the show. And then in the last 10 seconds, she gave some, you know, it means that the opportunity is going to be economic and the economy will be opportunistic. So then they went, they put that 10 second clip as the beginning of her answer with none of the word salad. And then every time they wanted to cut the interview, they panned to the guy just sitting there and then went back to her and gave three more cut up pieces from different interview questions and put it all together like she was answering it. And here's the thing, intelligently, which isn't the case. Yeah, it's still, even with all those cuts, it's sold and work. And no, I know this isn't your favorite one, but I don't know what else to say except... What in the actual fuck? How did lawns come into this when you're answering about the economy? Well, when you don't have anything real to say, you just have to fall back on memorized experiences. Good point. You know, speaking about experiences, I don't know if you saw the waltzes out campaigning this weekend together, Noah. Noah, his wife is frightening. You want to talk about some of the deleted scenes from movies like Deliverance and The Hills Have Eyes, and you are accurately reporting on what it looks like to watch the waltzes on stage. Actually, he's putting a two by four between his ankles right now and smashing it with a sledgehammer. Yeah. You're going to write the end of this story. It's going to be amazing. Man, you know, I did pull two clips. It's of both of them. And when you see the one that went viral over the weekend of his wife and you see her eyes and you see her face, it's like, and I love these dragon ball references, Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton did the fusion dance, and this is what you got in Gwen Wall. She is just an absolutely deranged lunatic of the highest order. And when I shared the clip on social media, I just captioned it as, under no circumstances, peacefully, mind you, can these people ever come to power? It will be the end of Western civilization, as you know it. If Kamala Harris can win and be the empty suit, the body that dictates what the deep state wants to do to this country and then have complete lunatics like Tim Walts and Gwen Walts out there doing exactly the same thing after they've completely destroyed Minnesota, essentially. It's a Somali refugee haven that's, you know, their biggest cities are laden with crime, and there's tampon dispensers in boys bathrooms in grade school, middle school and high schools, et cetera. Let's hear her. I don't know, she's doing some kind of a seance here in regards to some of the campaign cheering points that they have at their air quoting now, bust in rallies. Let's check it out. But I kind of liked it when she did this. Turn the page. Do you like that? Okay, so I need you to be with me and practice with me. What are we going to do? We're going to turn the page. Oh, pretty good. Do it again. We're going to turn the page and we're going to turn the page. All right, so I'm going to be watching you because when I see Wisconsin and I'm watching the National Land TV because it's a pretty important place in Minnesota, I'll help you practice it with this. You just show me this. Turn the page. Right? Turn the page. And you know what else that looks like? Bye-bye. Bye-bye Donald Trump. We are turning the page. Fifty-two days, and we are turning the page. Fifty-two days, and we are turning the page. Fifty-two days, and bye-bye Donald Trump. So how would it look like, Noah? Tell me what it looks like. Frightening. It looks like a nightmare. And then, and like you're talking to children. Yeah. Listen, have you ever heard Donald Trump initiate a USA chant at a Trump rally, or any of the other things the audience kind of gets into? He doesn't. He doesn't have to tell them like lemmings or sheep. This is what we're going to do now and start waving his hand around and saying USA, or locker up, or things of that nature. But these people are trying to copy every single thing he does, and it just looks, in my opinion, cringe, and even in some components, stay tannic when I have to watch it. Governor Wallace would go on to take the stage after his wife got done embarrassing herself and discuss, as our last audio clip before we jump in with Lee Zeldin, winning the hard conversations and where exactly you should have them. You want to talk about candidates that are running for office right now that have no connection to what reality is like. Listen to this. This thing's going to be a battle for the next 52 days. It's going to be in rooms, one in rooms, just like this. It's going to be one door to door, high school gymnasiums, five dollar donation, trying to have that hard conversation in the produce aisle with the person you saw there at the grocery store and ask have you voted yet. I'll be completely honest with you, Noah. If somebody came up to me in the produce section of my grocery store and asked me if I would consider voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walts, I would probably knock them the fuck out. How about you? Yeah. They have no idea what real life is like because they are of that elite category of just completely disconnected from what all the things we have to incur is at the behest of him. We're going to leave it at that and then jump into the latest going on with the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump's life and the fact that the mainstream media doesn't care about it in our next news segment, right now we're getting ready to jump in with former congressman and gubernatorial candidate in the state of New York, Lee's Elden. But before we do, another check in, one of our partners. This episode of the podcast is brought to you as always by man rubs. Rubs, barbecue tools, blow torches, t-shirts, coffee cups and all around barbecue related gear for you to make barbecue great again can be found at manrubs.com and on Instagram, man rubs. Music goes steak 15 to 15% off your order. All right, joining us next on the show today's big Tuesday edition of the state's breakfast podcast. He's the former congressman and gubernatorial candidate out at a great state of New York. Joining us again, Mr. Lee's Elden, thanks for coming back on the show. Yeah, happy to be with you. You know, I'd be happy to be having some constructive conversations with you. But after the events of the weekend, Lee, I think we really have to talk about what's going on. President Trump obviously had another assassination attempt on his life. It's time down at the West Palm Beach golf course that he frequents and, you know, for the way the mainstream media kind of presented it as, let's just say, no shots were fired from the attempted assassin. So that's not really an assassination attempt. And then to continue to ramp up the rhetoric that they've used for the last decade on Donald Trump, he's a threat to democracy, dictator on day one, it doesn't seem like we're moving towards an off-ramp. It seems like we're barreling ahead to whatever the eventual consequences would be. And I kind of want your commentary on, you know, the state of the race right now and the political temperature and how high up it's turned. I mean, you're right, if you don't go after the rhetoric of the left, if you don't confront it head on, it boils up to this moment that we're in right now. The reason why we're even having this conversation, it's because of people who are radicalized. This guy is a 19-time Democratic donor who has a Biden, had a Biden-Harris bumper sticker on his vehicle, clearly radicalized in many different ways. And they need to be looking inward as to why this is happening, why do they have people within the ranks who want to burn down Minneapolis who want to take out a courthouse in Portland? Why do they have it where, you know, people who support them have taken to the streets or on college campuses or even in the halls of Congress going after people because of their faith? So this is a moment that they should be looking inward, but they feel like they can't afford to. It's a calculation not to because if they started counting now less than 50 days out from an election, then maybe people out there who are independent, undecided voters will decide that this is a party that has their own problems and they're not fit to lead America. Now, the rest of us would say they have their own problems, they're not fit to lead America. Their allies and the media don't want to confront this. No, it's the truth. And I mean, just from some of the recently edited interviews, the very few of them that we've seen Kamala Harris do, we played one on the show in our last new segment in addition to, you know, the rhetoric, whether it was Joy Reid or Rachel Maddow last night. And I mean, they're the absolute, you know, fringe of the outside of the radical left. But to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who was saying the exact same thing, he's a threat to world security and to our democracy. Just last night on the news, I just can't understand how instead of talking about any kind of policies, even, you know, admitting, okay, what we've tried so far hasn't worked, but moving forward, we could do something different instead of just attacking Donald Trump and JD Vance. I'm pretty sure Congressman, you saw over the course of the weekend and during the Sunday morning new circuit, JD Vance had to tiptoe that minefield, whether he was taking on Dana Bash on CNN or Kristen Welker on NBC, but it's like they invite these people on to talk about things really to campaign and first thing they do is go out and attack them. Yeah. I mean, right now, if you ask voters who are trying to make their mind up for November's election, what is the most important issue to you? They're going to be talking about the economy, the border, crime, foreign policy, energy policy. They're trying to decide which of the candidates, which of the parties are best fit to address the issues that matter to them and their family for survival. They care about the future of the country in a very personal way. They think of the price of eggs, groceries, bread, gas, energy costs, and they would like to have that conversation, but unfortunately, the left doesn't want to have it because when Kamala Harris has asked that question, you'll give us some specifics, how are you going to make life in this country more affordable? She's going to start talking about in tangents, how she had a lawn when she grew up and going off into La La Land where it's just an embarrassment cringe moment every time. No, it's the truth. And then, outside of these issues and into more of how the race has been ran, I mean, you've seen Donald Trump widen this tent probably in a way it's never been done before in modern politics, whether it's Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, or RFK Jr. All of the performance artists who are coming in and athletes who are coming out of the woodworks and saying that maybe this election is so important, it matters who I endorse or it matters who I support. We've seen Donald Trump galvanize the base heading out of the first assassination attempt and through the RNC and then come out and add people to the roster that's widening it, I think in ways that we've never seen before, but I just kind of want your commentary on how moving forward and for the next 50 days or so, Donald Trump's going to continue to do that and show that he's not running to be the president of the Republican Party as he said to the RNC. He's running to be the president of all Americans again. We saw it in South Bronx, in Philadelphia, in Detroit, the list goes on. When Trump's been going inside of cities, he is reaching out to longtime Democrat voters. Now, when he does that, the left starts to have some of their guardians try to create a wall, a barrier between President Trump and those cities. They want to run interference to make sure that that effort, that good faith effort to try to build a relationship, to talk about important issues that that connection doesn't get made. When President Trump shows up in Chicago to speak to an association of black journalists, he would love to just talk about substantive issues that matter to the black community. And because he would be so successful in doing that, not just prospectively, but also talking about his record, then they have to run interference and go off topic out of the gate to start trying to derail that interview in any way, shape, or form that they possibly can. And it's a real disservice to those communities. And my message to them is stop letting the Democrats take your vote for granted. If there are people out there, regardless of what part of they are, what ideology they are, but they are trying to earn your support, they want to show up in your community, hear you out so that they can represent your needs and understand what your vision is, what your hopes are, what your dreams are for this country, gosh, it's really up to the voter to make sure that they are leveraging their vote, their voice, and they're not allowing these others to be guardians running interference and barriers to block that progress. Now, that's an excellent point. And then segue into what I want to talk about next. I mean, we're 50 days out from a presidential election. In modern times, you had not seen Republican candidates do respectively well in states like New York. I think you were a trendbreaker in the success you had during your gubernatorial campaign congressman. And then Donald Trump, you know, what he's doing nationally in making this race, I think bigger than just what typical politics is. But to have the Republican nominee do a rally in a place like New York City, 50 days from an election, it's unprecedented. And like you had mentioned, Donald Trump is not going to be holding this rally and it's not going to be filled with people who are just Republicans from the state of New York. This is going to be all the people who over the last four years and 12 out of the last 16 have seen Soros back DAs come in and completely break down the way normal life always was in the great state of New York. You know, they're going to see how migrant crime has ticked up and that's a direct reflection of the open borders policy of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. They're going to see the way the economy is tanked and in places that are historically expensive to live in like New York are now almost unlivable for normal people who are trying to make ends meet in the home. And they're going to hear Donald Trump offer those plausible solutions for the first time this close to election in modern history. How do you think that that, you know, how big that is for President Trump and what he's trying to do on the campaign? And what does it mean for the people of New York who are really looking to bring that city back? It's big for President Trump. It's big for the Republican Party, but far more important of that it's important to our country, to New York, to Long Islanders, people who are looking for these issues to get tackled. They don't want the broad stroke, shiny object, vibe rhetoric alone to carry the day. I mean, we have people with real concerns and they need bold leadership to tackle it. And President Trump has a record to run on. Harris has a record to run on. Harris wants to run. This is the most telling thing. Harris wants to run away from her record. Trump wants to talk about it. Trump wants to talk about his own time that he's in office. You know, and Kamala Harris says, we don't want to go back. Go back to what? I remember just before COVID hit, that was the strongest economy. I remember in my entire lifetime. You know, I remember during four years of the Trump presidency, he was taking one action after another to try to secure our border. I remember foreign wars ending instead of starting an energy production ramping up on a trajectory that gosh, I mean, was respecting choice and not making foolish regulations that are harming industries and harming a lot of key voters in swing districts. So I think it's a big deal that he's coming. This is a battleground state at the very least. The fact that we have so many freshmen Republicans, as well as opportunities with Republican challengers and Democrat districts and at the top of the ticket, Malcare, how anybody wants to spin this in any way, there is no denying the fact that right now President Trump is pulling way, way, way ahead than what the Biden Trump numbers were in 2020. What the number is at the end of the day? I don't know. I saw one poll that came out after they made the switch that said that Harris was up a dozen points. The Sienna College poll. I remember Sienna College saying in September of 2022 that I was down by 17 points. And at the end of the day, I got just under 50% of the votes. So you just got to campaign hard to the finish line. And my message to any of his supporters out there is to make sure that you vote. And that's the last thing I want to touch with you on Congress. I think it's the most important this finite amount of time we have between now and election day. Early voting is starting in some of the battleground states like Pennsylvania and North Carolina very soon. In addition, you know, I just want you to kind of stress to our listenership as someone that has ran these campaigns that has served in Congress and ran for the governor or someone that's running along. President Trump's candidacy right now trying to get him back into the White House. And how important it is outside of just your personal physical vote, is it to get involved in any kind of context you can in any state? Doesn't matter if it's a battleground, ruby red, sapphire blue, etc. And make sure your vote counts and you're getting more people involved in your community. Well, first off, if you wake up the day after an election, you're upset about the results and you didn't vote. I don't know if you have a right to complain. It's a true story. You have to earn the right to complain by voting. And if you vote and enough other people vote, and if we do more than just vote, getting involved in the races, as you suggest, well, you're not going to have to complain because you will have successfully won those campaigns. You have to work hard. And if a poll says you're up to, just pretend you're down to. You always campaign like you're behind. Take nothing for granted. Don't allow your or anyone else's confidence ever to be an excuse for complacency. We need everybody out there, including people who rarely vote. We especially need you to get out and vote. We need people to vote early. We need people who might think that this is a game day decision on Election Day to just bank your vote now. This is a moment where we need to close strong and understand November 5th. It's not Election Day. November 5th is the last day to vote. Now, I think it would be great if we could just have a great organized election on November 5th, where everyone was able to go, and votes were tallied accurately, and everything would be all set by the time we go to sleep. But this isn't that perfect world that some member of your audience might be thinking of. Right now, the reality is, is that you pointed out ballots already went out in Pennsylvania. So it's time to ramp up our effort to get out the vote campaign starts now. Oh, it certainly does, and we were glad to get a little insight of insight and analysis from you today, Lee. We've got everything live linked in the show description today. TeamDilton.com is obviously one of the websites we've got live linked. But if anybody wants to check out on social media or the great works you're doing anywhere else, where can they find you? We're on basically every social media platform, maybe almost every social media platform. We go to @LeeZeldin, @LeeMseldin, depending on the social media platform, and go to teamseldin.com as well, and just get involved. Go to DonaldJTrump.com, sign up for Trump for $47, donate $5 to our next president. There are many ways to get involved. And he talked about him today on the show. This is the former House Representative and gubernatorial candidate in the state of New York. He's also a great friend of stake for breakfast. Mr. Lee Zeldin, thanks for joining us on the show, sir. Have a great rest of your week. You've got to take care. Do you expect there to be calls from within the Trump campaign to do that? Because he's going to reach out to his supporters and say, let's take this down. We do not know again the source of any gunshot or gunshots. We don't know who's responsible for this. The whole thing has yet to be 100% confirmed from start to finish how this all played out. But do you expect to hear anything from the Trump campaign about toning down the rhetoric, toning down the violence? Or would that be a typical of the former president? Well, Alex, remember back to the assassination attempt from President Trump's life and how, you know, there was talk of a new tone. And then the Republican convention was by Trumpian standards muted. And it did seem like he was, you know, just trying to take it down a few notches. But then by the end of his convention speech, you know, we were kind of back to where we started. So I don't know how long this could, you know, this moment of unity for the country, where we come together and we say, I don't want any political opposition to be under threat of violence. It's not okay. Any threat of violence, you know, we don't want. I would love for us to have a unity type moment. But I think it's probably going to be pretty fleeting as we've seen in the past. All right, jumping back into the news portion of our show here, last news segment on the back end of two big Tuesday editions of State for Breakfast. As always, great kitchen up with former Congressman and gubernatorial candidate in the Empire State, Mr. Lee Zeldin for a little NYC rally preview. And that was MS DNC's Alex Witt asking a contributor on how she felt Donald Trump should calm down his rhetoric after a second assassination attempt was cast on his life over the weekend. Noah, your initial reactions. My initial reactions to that shit show? Yeah. Shouldn't Donald Trump. Listen, Noah, if you haven't realized the goal here, the continued spewing of this crap 24/7 on all the major media outlets is to get Donald Trump to get off the campaign trail, to not golf, to not do rallies, to not do any public speaking events, to not get in three battleground states in one day, still figure out a round of golf and then show up at a UFC event to cap off the evening every week like he does so that he is completely deballed from running any component of his campaign in the fashion that he's ran it or it's evolved into over the course of the last eight years. Don't you agree? Yeah, well, that's what they want. They want him to be not visible like him. I mean, that motherfucker is still going to go out and golf. You know this to be true. Oh, he's golf since? Yeah. I'm surprised he didn't go back out and finish the fucking, uh, didn't he say he had like a birdie putt or something to finish that one off? Oh, don't worry. He concluded his round the next day and it's listen, can't stop won't stop. And I'm not just saying that because did he got indicted on all these sexual trafficking charges over the course? Yeah, the last 24 hours, more money, more problems for him. Um, it costs more money for lawyers. So you had to say the least $50 million bond to be released from jail is what his lawyers are looking at right now. And, uh, you know, as we go through the next couple of clips, we're going to see how the Democrats are playing their hand right now. And by putting pressure on the deep state, the federal government, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden to continue to say it's Donald Trump's rhetoric is the reason why people are targeting his life and not all the stuff they're saying about him. It's just mirroring an attempt to get him off the campaign trail and not allow him to do run his race in the fashion that he deems appropriate. Here's resident racist former Donald Trump wig enthusiast, Joy Reid saying just about as much of the same. Let's check it out. They're learning more about what the FBI is calling an apparent assassination attempt on Donald Trump yesterday is the second attempt in nine weeks. And in both cases, the individuals were not minorities undocumented immigrants or someone from Haiti or Venezuela. No, they were white guys with guns. They were both registered Republicans. In fact, the suspect from this weekend's incident who has been identified as 58 year old Ryan Wesley Ruth voted for Trump in 2016 before apparently becoming disillusioned with him. Ruth made his first appearance in a Florida courtroom this morning charged with illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a weapon within obliterated serial number. He has an extensive criminal record in North Carolina that includes a 2002 conviction for possessing a weapon of mass destruction, a machine guy. Strangely enough, Ruth was actually interviewed by the New York Times last year about his vocal support for Ukraine in its war against Russia, a war he attempted to fight in, but he says he was rejected by Ukraine's military because he was too old and had no battlefield experience. At a press conference this afternoon, the acting Secret Service director Ronald Rowe stated that Ruth never had a line of sight to Trump, nor did he ever fire or get off any shots at the Secret Service. Ruth's motive is still unclear. So he is a registered independent, he voted not for Donald Trump in the last primary and, you know, where are they getting this claim that he voted for Trump then? Because it's MSDNC Noah. No, I realized that, but that's a very bold claim to make if there's no evidence to prove it. So is calling it Hitler? If it is true, that makes him a little bit more reasonable than the last one because the last one was only a registered Republican in order to fuck up the primary. Correct. You want to know why those primary in that state? You want to know why they're melting down this week? This is why. Let's look at some poll numbers now. Last night, Trafalgar put out their latest, the new electoral map based on the latest battleground polling has Donald Trump at 296 electoral votes to Kamala Harris is 242. That's with no leaners. In addition, the newest one from Nate Silver, 538 has Donald Trump at 312 electoral votes to Kamala Harris is 226. And the latest favorability odds to win the election head to head match up forecast also from Nate Silver has Donald Trump at 60%, 20 points over Kamala Harris at 40. In the swing states, the Trafalgar polling numbers looked like this. PA Trump plus two, NC Trump plus 2.4, AZ Trump plus 1.6 and GA Trump 1.7 over Kamala Harris. So again, if Donald Trump wins Pennsylvania, it's over. That's because North Carolina and Georgia will fall like dominoes after that. If you've picked up one state in the Sun Belt, that's either Arizona or Nevada, she's getting absolutely buried in regards to electoral landslides here. And then given, so Atlas Intel is best known for being the most accurate pollster of 2020 nationally, with its final polling being Joe Biden at plus 4.7 and the final result being at Joe Biden 4.6. They have given Donald Trump at this point, a 99.9% chance of winning the election based off the aggregate of the latest polls. What do you think of that Noah? Yeah, I was just trying to look up whether or not Ralph actually voted for Trump. Apparently, he claimed on social media that he had chosen. Well, it says, while you were my choice in 2016, I in the world hoped that President Trump would be different and better than the candidate. But we were all greatly disappointed and seems you were getting worse and devolving. Are you retarded? I hope glad when you gone. Yeah, good for him. I mean, that doesn't necessarily prove that he actually voted for him. Like he may have then could become disillusioned with him prior to the vote. But speaking of retards and keeping it in the same thread, that's a perfect way to open up the door for Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, best known for her weaves and fake eyelashes. Not for anything intelligent coming out of her mouth. She sat down with Jen Psaki on her show yesterday night inside Jen Psaki's Regina. And this is what she had to say following the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Let's hear you know, one of the things and I mentioned this and I would love both of your thoughts on it is that this is this is a pattern, right? He is going. He loves to go after and this is his playbook. Communities that don't look like him. He goes after black communities, Latino communities, communities that have large numbers of immigrants. It is this a fear based approach. He's doing it in Aurora, Colorado as well. What should people understand and know about that? I mean, these are people's lives. Haitian families are keeping their kids inside. Schools are shut down. Hospitals are shut down. What should people know about that and the impact on communities? You see the communities impacted. Yeah, no. Listen, here's one of the things Donald Trump loves to say things such as they're illegal, right? Every time he talks about an immigrant, he makes it seem as if they have done something nefarious. And it's not true just because they are immigrants does not mean that there's anything illegal about them. And what is so wild to me is that they never think about the fact that they literally have children of immigrants. Donald Trump is married to an immigrant as well as JD Vance. Your children are children of immigrants and you are going out and attacking other immigrants every chance that you get. And honestly, again, it just comes down to basic decency in this country. I think the reason that you're seeing the polling that you see in Iowa is because people are waking up to the fact that we can't live this way. This can't be the guy that is supposed to protect us when it comes to people that are coming out against us. This is the same guy that could not say on that debate stage that he wanted Ukraine to win. He could not do that. This guy doesn't understand who our friends are. And he also doesn't understand who we are as a nation, which we are a country of immigrants. And the demonization of any group of people, whether it's black folk and saying, you know what? We need to go out and make sure that officers have immunity to just go ahead and kill them criminally. Or whether we're talking about those that he says, oh, all of the Hispanics that are coming in, they're going to rape your children. Listen, the problem isn't the people coming in. The problem is this guy and his people here that are doing the bomb threats throughout our country. Domestic terrorism is a real thing. And he is the guy that stokes it. You're a nasty person. And he stokes it. Mm hmm. Noah? Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely phenomenal from the lowest IQ member of the Democrat and House Caucus, Jasmine Crockett from Texas. You know, no one was more disappointed that the second shooter, not on the grassy knoll, but through the golf course fence, didn't even get round off than former secretary of state and first lady, killed dog Hillary Clinton. She went on MSDNC last night. After all of this stuff, the dust had settled. Everybody knew that it was legit. Everybody knew that this guy was crazy. After the pictures of the Biden Harris bumper sticker on his truck in Hawaii came out. After all of his criminal record had been released online and for the fact that he's, you know, done high level interviews with the Wall Street Journal and Newsweek and the New York Times over the years that this guy was literally an asset and the deep state was losing their grip on it in real time. You know, there's been a development out of Florida. Ron DeSantis came out and said today because the federal government due to the proximity and that Donald Trump hadn't moved into what would some would consider a kill box before the Secret Service intervened on Sunday. He doesn't think the federal prosecutor is going to be able to charge him with attempted murder, which is why the state of Florida is going to hold on to him so Ron DeSantis can charge him with it. So we'll see where that goes. By getting back to people who literally do have blood on their hands, like Hillary Clinton, let's hear what she had to say in an attempt to bring the temperature down after the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump happened over the weekend. Let's check it out. And I don't understand why it's so difficult for the press to have a consistent narrative about how dangerous Trump is. You know, the late great journalist, Harry Evans, you know, one time said that, you know, journalists should, you know, really try to achieve objectivity. And by that, he said, I mean, they should cover the object. Well, the object in this case is Donald Trump, his demagoguery, his danger to our country and the world and stick with it, you know. So I guess it doesn't matter how many people try to go and kill Donald Trump as he's running for president again. What difference at this point does it make? Whether you bring the temperature down or not, right, Noah? What difference does it make? That's some data that we could all use. Yeah. J.D. Vance was talking about yesterday. He did a rally today. If there's anything prudent from it, we'll throw it into our Friday show. But he was out on the campaign trail. Yesterday, I believe he was at one of the policy institutes delivering remarks and was talking about Noah made a joke about it. Donald Trump finishing his round of golf, what happened after he had sought on the news and got word from President Trump that he was okay. Let's check it out. These are the first public remarks that I've made since my running mate was nearly assassinated for the second time yesterday. And President Trump, I was actually sitting at home in Cincinnati with my six-year-old, seven-year-old. And I get a phone call and says, Donald J. Trump, so I answer it. And he says, J.D., you're not going to believe this, but they try to do it again. I said, no, they didn't. Your Josh and me. What's going on here, sir? And he says, no, I was playing golf and the Secret Service found somebody who was trying to shoot me. And I say, oh, my Lord, sir, I'm so glad you're okay. Are you doing okay? Are you not just physically okay? But everything's fine. He said, yeah, I'm doing fine. And this is just who Donald Trump is. He said, you know, I'm a little mad because I was about to make a birdie putt on the sixth hole and they wouldn't let me finish. The guy's literally like, this happened. I mean, he calls me right after, this is 10 minutes after, and he's pissed off that they won't let him finish his birdie putt. Right after they found a guy with an AK-47. But by the way, that is kind of the guy that you want to be President of the United States, right, who's phased by nothing, who's telling jokes afterwards. You know, it's sad to me that this doesn't face President Trump anymore and that he's able to tell and make light of this situation. And now it's becoming a reoccurring theme and how devolved our political system has gotten to where. Listen, this happened less than 48 hours ago, and we've completely moved on to Diddy and his legal problems. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I wonder what's going to happen with that. I don't know. I really, he's probably screwed. Yeah, yeah, I'm sure I heard they got a lot of receipts to set and the other thing. But in the big context of winning the presidential election, which should be the only thing that we're talking about here, this is just another big distraction that they're going to go up the new cycle with when they don't want to talk about Donald Trump being Hitler or instead of him being Hitler because it now is cliche or in bad taste to do it. J.D. Vance would touch on that and taking some of the ridiculous and inflammatory commentary out of our politics. Let's hear it. But I do think that we should take this opportunity to call for a reduction in the ridiculous and inflammatory political rhetoric coming from too many corners of our politics. Look, we can disagree with one another. We can debate one another. But we cannot tell the American people that one candidate is a fascist. And if he's elected, it is going to be the end of American democracy. We cannot as a person affiliated with Kamala Harris has said that we need to quote eliminate Donald J. Trump, a New York Democratic Congressman has said that in the past. If you tell the American people that this person is the end of democracy, if you tell the American people that this person needs to be eliminated, most of them, thank God, are going to ignore you. But some crazy person is going to take matters into their own hands and actually listen to the crazy rhetoric that you're putting out there. It's a good point and a point that has to be made. It's what's led us to this crossing the roads and we have to get back and move down the one where the nth degree, the last straw of political violence is being applied right now. I've only got a couple more clips now before we wrap up here. First one, you ready for an October surprise? Like we haven't had enough of them over the course of the last fucking eight years. Yeah, what do we got now? Here's the in-term U.S. Secret Service Director during his Trump press conference yesterday down in Florida talking about, well, you know, we're trying to give Mr. Trump the former president as much protection as possible. But who knows what could happen in the next couple weeks? We might be fighting a global war or some of the shit like that. Let's check it out. But the long and short of it is this, coming out of Butler, I have ordered a paradigm shift. The Secret Service's protective methodologies work and they are sound and we saw that yesterday. But the way we are positioned right now in this dynamic threat environment, it has given me guidance to say, you know what, we need to look at what our protective methodology is. We need to get out of a reactive model and get to a readiness model. There could be another geopolitical event that could put the United States into a kinetic conflict or some other issue that may result in additional responsibilities and protectees of the United States Secret Service. And so we are working. We are making information available to all of our partners. And I just want to say that the commitment of Congress to the Secret Service throughout the years has been tremendous. And we will continue to work with them and Secretary Mayorkas, who support in making sure that we're getting what we need has been phenomenal. Don't forget to throw that jackass's name in there right now. Yeah, a global, kinetic conflict. What does that mean to you? World War III? Yeah, very scary to say the least. And not something that I'm looking forward to in any context, moving forward. You know, I've only got one more clip and it's kind of one of our raw, raw ones. Oh, here's one piece of news. No, I know that you're not the biggest sports fans, but in Donald Trump's attempt to not change anything that he's doing out on the campaign trail. On September 28, Donald Trump will attend a very big collegiate football game. He knows where the money is made and that's in the SEC and he will be at the Alabama Georgia game. In Georgia, battleground Georgia on the 28th of September. So we'll see how that goes. But I've got one more clip from a man who's now being dispatched back out onto the campaign trail with guns of blazing. And that's Vivek Ramaswamy. As our last audio clip of the day, here's him talking at a town hall on Sunday about how the next 49 days, 52, and he referenced it, is the most important, but it's going to be the hardest that we've ever had to endure before. Let's check it out. We're not playing on an even playing field, but we can't just sit here and complain about that either. Okay. Tell us, I preach it to the left. I preach it to my kids. It's time that we preach it to our own selves ahead of this election as well. Hardship isn't a choice. It's something that happens to you, but victimhood is a choice. Hardship is not the same thing as victimhood. We're not going to choose to be victims. We're going to choose to be victorings. That's who we are as Americans. I teach it to my kids. The number one factor that determines whether or not you're successful in achieving your goal is actually you. It's not the only factor that matters. There's a lot of other things that are unfair in life. Life is not fair because I'm in this conversation with my wife last night about something unrelated to our kids, but it applies in politics too. Life isn't fair. But the number one factor, there's a lot of other factors that could affect whether or not you achieve a scholarship, whether or not your business succeeds, whether or not you get that promotion, whether or not you win that election. Life isn't fair. We're not on an even playing field. We never are. We never have been. We never will be. It's not the way things work. But the number one factor, it's not the only factor, but the number one factor that determines whether you achieve your goal is actually you. And for us, it's now time to level up as a movement and say, you know what, we're not just against what the other side puts up. Here's who we are and what we actually stand for. And if I'm being honest, we haven't done enough of that yet. We still have 55 days left ahead of us. And that's what I'm calling on us to do. I like it. Noah, what do you think? It's not terrible. Certainly isn't a horrible idea. Now the guys out there working and we're going to see him a lot more prevalent on the campaign trail moving forward over the course of the last 49 days before we head to election day. Remember early voting is essentially starting in several of the battleground states, including Pennsylvania and North Carolina. So if you're not involved already outside of your physical vote, it's time to get active. We're going to leave it at that as we're getting ready to jump in with Congressman Josh Burkim. But before we do, we're going to check in one more time with one of our partners. Friends, I want to take a minute and talk to you about cigars. Whether you're on the golf course, fishing on the lake or doing some yard work around the house, our friend Alan has got you covered. He's launched the Patriot Cigar Company. He's the congressman who represents Oklahoma's second congressional district. Always glad to catch up with Representative Josh Burkim. Welcome back to the show. Hey, thanks again. Congressman, always a pleasure and we got a bunch of stuff to talk about. Listen, we hate to bring it up. It's something that we shouldn't even have to unpack as a political podcast or as members that work up on Capitol Hill serving the constituents of the American people. But it's the security state or lack thereof that's going on now, both protecting our politicians, our high value assets here in the United States, our political candidates as well. And we saw kind of unfold over the weekend. You know, Donald Trump had another attempt on his life down in Florida. And I kind of want to get your initial reaction and how you see this story unfolding. Well, look, you know, we can pronounce the problem, which we all have seen unfolding, not just in the last couple of days, in the last 60 days. This is an allocation of resources that has to start going the direction of Donald Trump. And for President Biden, you know, in his news conference, talking about, you know, maybe more funding, this is an allocation of resources. You have plenty of people that can surround the president and can go in and make sure that these areas are safe. infrared, as many people have been talking about over the weekend, has to be in place for him now. You have to know who's out there. So that if somebody is popping up out of a hole in the ground, not just through a fence, you know, with the rifle, then, you know, that you're able to detect that. And so it's this is rising to the level of extraordinary threat. We are within days of a presidential election. He is likely to be President of the United States again. Allocation resources has to go to him. He is the one that's being targeted. You know, when you see in the way this kind of shake out, I mean, it's not like Joe Biden and the administration has, you know, at face value or overtly acted like this isn't a problem, obviously. But I see the, you know, over the weekend, Joe Biden made comments where he kind of blamed it on Congress, you know, and when you see the reshuffling of the federal agencies and the way that the Secret Service has fallen under the Department of Homeland Security, you know, I saw DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas out doing like a town hall, maybe a week ago. And this is in between the two assassination attempts. He wasn't talking about anything to do with security or lack thereof going on at the agency. He was talking about how he felt, you know, the entire notion of deportation was immoral in his opinion. That's again, the Department of Homeland Security's head. Where is has Alejandro Mayorkas been? Why hasn't he been pulled before community yet? And how much of the blame falls on him as the overseer of the entire agency is the Department of Homeland Security that falls under, you know, the guide of Secret Service and all the other entities that are working alongside the president right now? Well, look, he is the one who has opened the control in terms of the hierarchy because the Secret Service is under Homeland Security. Remember, this is a guy that's been impeached by Congress. And the Senate refused to take it up on the border. And so he is an individual of bureaucrats that many people look at and go. He's a lost college in terms of being able to hold him to account. And ultimately, this is going to be even above him that the president of the United States, Joe Biden, he has to get more resources around Donald Trump. And I think it's the Wall Street Journal that came out and said it was appealing to the conscience, not just the right of the cause, but between the conscience and what, you know, we all know is if he doesn't do this, he is stealing fire for anybody that would blame him if something was to happen to Donald Trump. And so don't play with that game. Don't go down that road. Allocate the resources. You can pull them from a multitude of areas. They're a Secret Service deployed in multiple locations. Put those individuals where the threat is. Now, when you're talking about the game that's being played or one that shouldn't be Congressman, you know, if you went out over the weekend and, you know, coming out of this, watched some of the evening Sunday talk shows, you saw some of the news unfold yesterday, whether it was top Kamala Harris campaign advisors, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, you know, the rhetoric hasn't calmed down at all. Once they thought or, you know, felt in their opinion that this wasn't a big of a threat or a kinetic assassination attempt, as the first one wasn't Butler, it was okay to stay in the same thread of, you know, Donald Trump still being a threat to democracy and the MAGA movement is the worst movement in the history of movements. You know, as probably some of that rhetoric has contributed to what has happened to President Trump and the fact that, you know, we're talking about the conversation and having the conversation we're having right now, how irresponsible is it for some of the top leaders or political figures in this country to continue to go out in an attempt to, I guess, campaign or to make their voices heard, you know, continue to spout the same rhetoric when obviously this is, you know, now twice already, we've been in a situation where Donald Trump could have, you know, lost his life. Yeah, if he followed the train of thought, where they're ascribing to him, you know, a dictator in waiting that, you know, everybody we can talk about about he can, you know, to come and speak that he's, you know, the next Hitler, you know, follow that through to fruition. Anyone who really buys into that would want in the assassination attempt. They're not saying that. So there's a lack of truth in the dramatization that they're painting for their base, they're painting for the liberal wing, and they need to take hold of their words. As Tim Scott said yesterday, and I wholeheartedly agree, there's a proverb that says the power of life and death is in the tone. In this situation, they better put a bridle on their tone. That's an excellent point you make there. And then when you see the overall state of the race, outside of this unfortunate incident, which again is something that we shouldn't have to be talking about, but obviously are all living through right now. And you see the race that President Trump is running, you know, some of the biggest pollsters that came out over the weekend, I'll just talk about, you know, Nate Silver, 538, you've got Trafalgar, also Atlas Intel, three of the most accurate models in the last couple of elections, including the last presidential, have Donald Trump, you know, gaining in his favorability to win, not only an overwhelming majority, if not all of the swing in battleground states, but electorally looking, you know, every day more and more like a solid pick to be the next president of the United States. I mean, listen, when you talk about Donald Trump's announcement in November of 2022, and the comeback story that it's been since, you're talking about the law affair, he's incurred great loss, you know, the mother of some of his children, obviously his wife's mother has passed away as well, the assassination attempts, and everything in between. This is looking like Donald Trump is, you know, appearing stronger than ever out on the campaign trail. I also want you to kind of add your commentary on what people like, RFK Jr and Tulsi Gabbard coming into the movement, mean for this election as well, and how you think this race is starting to shape up is, you know, we're in early voting pretty much in some of the battleground states, and no matter what happens between now and election day, this is kind of the last leg of the race. Yeah, I said actually the debate between the president and the current vice president, that if you're looking for somebody that would be a good fit for Hollywood, because they proved they can spend two or three days memorizing a script, then maybe, maybe for Hollywood, that's where Kamala Harris is missing the mark, maybe, you know, that's where she needs to go, because it's all performance art. It is when it comes to the concept of Israel's, you watch the debate, it was she paints this this word picture that she's for Israel, he has you buying in her and she's for Israel, and then within a matter of seconds later, she's for Hamas. I mean, it is it is word missing at its finest level, memorized, great for Hollywood, just bad to run this country. You cannot please everybody, and that's how, you know, she's learned to campaign people figuring this bill out, and that's when the phone numbers are reflected, they want somebody that that can point the country to North, not somebody who's just able to find out where the the popular phone is at the moment. It's exactly, you know, it's wild to see the way that this shaped up. There were so many people who didn't think Donald Trump could get back to this point. I think he's exceeded a lot of the expectations, and there's still 50 some odd days to go before election day. It's going to be interesting to see how this whole thing shakes out. And then switching gears, Congressman, and moving up to the Hill where there is some work ahead of House Republicans. Obviously, we saw you guys kind of coming together on, you know, the the CR that's going to kind of that's going to keep the government funded between now and until when the next president is sworn in. Obviously, one of the components of that is the Save Act as well. But before we get into that, you know, there has been some ramped up items going on with the US Southern border that I think we need to touch DHS release. Their official numbers today, which I'm sure is as usual way lower than the actual numbers, but Biden flights accounting for over 1.3 million illegals flown into this country over the course of the last year. You know, in addition to that, you've had the ramped up migrant crimes that are happening around the country and being reported. I mean, just up in New York last week, there was a family who was murdered, two small children in the house burned to death by the robbers who were people that are here illegally and brought in under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Obviously, you had all of the rapes and murders that had happened over the the months and years since they've been in office that have been highlighted within the news media because of the absolute malicious nature of the crimes. And now you have, I don't want to say the Simpsons is right. And I want to say that Donald Trump has made it into a talking point that's come into like a TikTok sensation. But you know, you have some of the other items that are concerning Americans, whether it's regarding how overwhelmed the school systems are, whether it has to be due with the safety and security of their pets in some instances and communities. It just seems like this is out of control. And I kind of want to see how you're looking at as someone who's always in detail talked about the importance and everything that's going on in the border throughout the course of the, you know, entire Biden Harris regime, what you're looking forward to at the end of this administration and potentially with Donald Trump coming back into office in January. Deportation. Trinde, I don't want to massage the nest of that pronunciation. I think it's eragua, trinde eragua. If anybody's paying attention, we have this not just game. We have people that law enforcement is calling north of MS-13. I mean, these are dangerous, dangerous individuals that are setting up camps, setting up shop. This is the, this is the new mafia in America. And this administration has brought them in. And, and whether it's what, you know, Texas Governor Abbott's doing yesterday, we have got to have law enforcement not only doing what it can on the state level, but the federal government all hands on deck, sweeping house. This is dangerous. And everyone is sick of hearing about the next 13, 14, and 15 year old little girl abducted. Everyone is sick of telling your kids, you know what? I wasn't going to let you go there, but I give them what's happening in the world right now. I don't think I can do that. People are changing normal habits because of this, this threat level that is real. And, you know, statement that every community is a border community. I live in Oklahoma. We're changing things the way we operate. I changed the way that I would normally meet people. You know, just, if I don't know them, I'm making sure it's in the public spaces, because of this. Witness this. And we all will talk about the 1950s and 1960s. I think a lot of us would take the 1990s, you know, five years ago compared to where we're at today. Right. It's, it's wild. No, and you make some excellent points. I, I'm a fan of the 80s and 90s, so I wouldn't mind going back there anyway. Glass bottle Gatorades. You can see the Doritos through the bags. I'm for it. But, you know, last thing, Congressman, as we're getting ready to wrap, talk about the upcoming CR and the possibility of the SAVE Act. We know that Chuck Schumer will have the ability to just strip it from the bill and send a clean one back to the House of Representatives, obviously, even in the ball in Speaker Johnson's court. I don't really think House Republicans are looking to cause too much of a ruckus, although we do need to get things like the SAVE Act and act it into law between now and, you know, maybe when the next session of Congress picks up, but, but just kind of a little forecast of how you see these things going. We know there's a lot of house business in addition to all these extra things, like another assassination attempt on President Trump over the weekend that continue to add to the agenda. But you guys are also all out there running your own races and need to win to ensure that the House of Representatives stays in Republican control, so legislative, we can get the ball rolling potentially for Donald Trump in January as well. God, look, the SAVE Act is something that needs to happen. We need to scrub the, the voter rolls to make sure that you are providing proof of citizenship. And that is a major loophole. You got, according to Heritage Foundation in the state of Pennsylvania alone, in the last 20 years, they have 20,000 illegals. They can point to that and cast the ballot instead of Pennsylvania. And keep in mind, you had 10,000 votes that made the difference in the last presidential election in, I think, three states, approximately 10,000 votes. Thousands of votes can make a difference in the presidential election. And it comes to that on the presidential election, one by congressional and senatorial and et cetera. So this needs to be done. It's promising. I'm forward and I look forward to, you know, the conference supporting it hopefully this week. We'll see what happens. We'll see if we can get some votes. Oh, we sent a new will and we got a lot clear picture of it now that we were really kept up with you.
