This is Jeffrey Zimmerman, of course, filling in for Pastor Sean once again today. And as I say, I'm always happy to be able to do that. When he asked me to come, I'm always honored and privileged to do it for him and for God. And of course, for all of you, the wonderful people of God, it's so good to be here with everybody again today. And we are in the series called "The Necessity of Faith." And what we're doing in this series, Pastor Sean has said, we are encouraging people's faith, helping you to build your faith for healing. We are focused on healing and the healing power of God. And that's what this ministry is about. Pastor Sean and Pastor Amy have been in the healing ministry as he has said since '99. And I have been with them in that time as well. And so has seen many, many people healed, delivered, set, free, saved by the power of God. And it is an awesome ministry to be a part of. And I'm so thankful that God allowed me and my wife, Melanie, we're both very, very thankful, and we're very, very excited to be able to work alongside Pastor Sean and Pastor Amy in the ministry and to have a part, be just be a part of what God is doing in the lives of people today. And so before we get started today, I just, we just wanna open up in prayer. Father God, in the name of Jesus, Melanie and I join our faith with your wonderful people, wherever they are today. Lord, I pray that you would touch them, that you would minister to them, that as I speak your words today, that you would strengthen their faith, build up their faith and let it reach, let it just skyrocket, Lord God. God, we ask for miracles to take place among your people today. Miracles of healing, Lord God, as we prepare for the next of three nights of miracles, Lord, and even before that, just touch your people we pray. We thank you for them, God. We thank you for every person who's listening on this broadcast today. It is not a coincidence that they are tuned in. Somebody on this program today, you're tuning in for the first time. And I don't know how you heard about Pastor Sean and Pastor Amy if you might have heard about them from somebody or you were just searching through YouTube and you happened to find them. Well, whatever the case, you need to know that it is not a coincidence that you are on this program today. Somebody needs to hear that God has a miracle for you. Oh, come on, let's just praise God today. Let's just give him praise and glory. Glory to God. (speaks in foreign language) Oh, bless your people, oh God. We bless your name, dear Jesus. We bless your name, God, holy spirit. Move among your people. Let your power be manifested among your people today and let them have mighty signs, wonders, and miracles in their lives. Lord, let them encounter them. Their lives, Lord, let them encounter the living Christ in their lives, in their hearts, in their homes, at their workplaces, wherever they are today. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray, amen and amen. Hallelujah, glory to God. It is no coincidence that you are here today. Someone needs to know that. It's not a coincidence that you're here. God knows exactly who you are. He knows where you are. He knows what you're dealing with. And the title of my message today is healing is for everybody. I'm gonna say that again. Somebody needs to hear that. Healing is for everybody. I can't tell you how many times I've talked to people that say, well, I know God can heal, but I don't know if He wants to heal me. A lot of people don't have a problem with the power of God to be able to heal. But what a lot of people have a problem with is does God want to heal me? Is it God's will to heal me? And that, my friend, is the question that we are here to answer finally once and for all without question. From the word of God, amen, amen. Lord, as I speak today, let me speak your words. Lord, speak through me today. And I pray that the word would be so simple that even a child would be able to understand what the Lord is saying to the church. Encourage your people in Jesus' name and all God's people said, amen. So healing is for everybody. And we're gonna prove it from the word of God. In John chapter one, first of all, we want to say, Jesus always did the will of God. That's an important thing to understand. Jesus always did the will of God. See, you and I sometimes we do our own thing, right? 'Cause we're born and sinned. The Bible says all have sinned and comes short of the glory of God. All of us, me, you, everybody, have done things in our lives that were our idea. We really did our own thing, right? And even sometimes when God is telling us what to do and what to watch out for, you know, from His word or in our prayer time, God will sometimes tell you, watch that over there, don't go there, don't do that thing, what do we do? We go ahead and we do it anyway, right? Because we're human beings. Sometimes we just, you know, we do what we want to do. And sometimes we ignore that still small voice that's trying to warn us, you know? But Jesus never did that. Jesus always, always, always did the will of God. John chapter one, verse one says, "In the beginning was the Word." And the Word was with God and the Word was God. So the Bible is telling us that in the beginning there was God and there was the Word. Now that Word is Jesus Christ. And we're gonna see that in just a second. But the Bible is letting us know that God, there was God and there was the Word. And the Word was with God, so it was alongside Him. But the Word also was God. They're one and the same. They are not separate. They are separate, but they are the same. It's kind of hard for us to understand, but it's one of those things that we have to kind of, except by faith, amen, you know? And then verse 14 says, "The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us." So that's Jesus, see? Because He was the God man, right? He was God made flesh dwelling among us. So that's how we know that the Word is talking about Jesus Himself. And we beheld His glory. The glory as of the only begotten of the Father full of grace and truth. Now what does it mean when it says we beheld His glory? The glory as of the only begotten of the Father. What does it mean by that? Well, that's talking about healing. Every time Jesus healed somebody, He was demonstrating the power and the glory of God, amen? What He was doing was He was demonstrating not only that He was God by laying hands on the sick and the sick being healed, but that God was with Him and that He was doing what God had sent Him to do, amen? So that's what this is talking about. Then we can go to John 829. Jesus said these words, "He that sent me," He's talking about God the Father, "is with me. The Father has not left me alone." Because why? Because I do always those things that please Him. Aha, so see here Jesus is telling us out of His own mouth, "I always do what pleases my Father." You see, so Jesus always, always, always did the will of His Father. He said, "The Father is with me. He has not left me alone." How many of you have sometimes felt like you were alone that God left you, amen? I've felt like that many times myself and come to find out it wasn't God that moved, amen? Very many times it's us that goes off and goes somewhere where we're not supposed to go. God's still where we left Him, you see, and it's us that has to turn and go back to the place where He wants us to go. But see in Jesus' case, He always did the will of God, right? So the Father never left Him alone, amen. So now we come to Matthew 8 verses one through three. Now, to give you a little background before Matthew 8 in verses at least verses five through seven, and I think maybe even part of verse four, Jesus did a lot of talking. For you who have a red letter edition of the Bible, you'll see that those particular chapters, Matthew 5, Matthew 6, and Matthew 7, are all in red letters because it's all Jesus' words. It was Him talking, it was the Sermon on the Mount. So Jesus did a lot of talking. He did a lot of teaching, you see, in these verses. And verse seven actually ends by saying that the multitudes were astounded at the words that were coming out of His mouth because He taught as one that had authority. He taught as one that had power. You see, they had never heard anybody preach and teach the way Jesus did, amen? So hearing the words of Christ, they realized this man's got something different. This man has power behind his words, you see. And so when he was calmed down from the mountain in Matthew 8, verse one, great multitudes followed him. So they heard his teaching, now they were following him. See, why? Because the words of Christ inspire faith. They cause faith to well up inside of us, you see. We're talking about the necessity of faith. The words of Christ inspired them. The words of Christ caused their faith to grow strong, you see. It puts you on a high in the spirit, as it were, you see. And it causes you to want to hear more. It causes you to want to follow Jesus. It causes you to want to get in that prayer closet. Your private time with God. And just spend hours spending time with Jesus, amen? And so they followed him. And behold, there came a leper and worshiped him saying, "Lord, if you will, you can make me clean." Now this leper was not with the multitudes that were following Jesus out of the mountain. The reason was because he had leprosy. And back in that day in time, lepers were not allowed to hang out or be with the rest of the people, the people that didn't have leprosy because they had leprosy. They could pass it along, you see, it was contagious. So they had to be apart. And that's what this man did. He was respecting the customs and traditions of his time, you see, by keeping himself separate and staying apart. But when Jesus came down, he said, "Lord, if you will, you can make me clean." Now the leper wasn't with the multitudes that were up on the top of the mountain. But it's very possible that he might have been able to hear some of what Jesus was teaching, amen? And he might have been able to hear the words that Jesus was speaking. And hear the authority and the power behind his voice. So I have a feeling that that might have been one of the reasons why this leper had faith to believe for his healing, you see? Because he heard the words of Jesus and he said, "You know what? I can be healed." So there was no question in this leper's mind whatsoever that Jesus could heal him of his leprosy. But there was only one question that he still had. And he voiced it. He said, "If you will, you can make me clean." Now see, he didn't have the Bible like we have it today. He didn't understand. So he was speaking out of his own understanding which was kind of limited, you see. So he didn't realize that it was the will of God to heal. He knew that Jesus could do it. He didn't have any doubt about that. But did he want to do it? Was it his will to do it? Listen to what Jesus told this man. Jesus put forth his hand and touched him. Oh my God. What a move of compassion. Amen? For Jesus who is clean, you know, he doesn't have any leprosy or anything like that, to reach out his hand and touch this man, this man with leprosy, this man who is unclean, this man who is dirty and filthy. Jesus didn't tell him, "Oh, you need to go get yourself cleaned up or something, sir, before I put my hands on you." No, no, no, no, no. Jesus reached out his hand and touched him right then and there. And he said, "I will be thou clean." And immediately, his leprosy was cleansed. See, Jesus was answering through this man once and for all. The question, is it God's will to heal? Acts 1038 says how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power. Who Jesus went about doing good and healing how many? All that were oppressed of the devil. For God was with him. Remember, we said, Jesus said God is with me. He has not left me alone because I always do the will of my Father. I always do what pleases him. So if Jesus always does what pleases the Father and he heals all who were oppressed of the devil, in other words, all who are sick 'cause sickness is an oppression of the devil. Sickness does not come from God. You see, God never makes anybody sick. Amen? So you could just, you know, some people they say, well, God must be trying to teach me something 'cause he put this sickness on me. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. God never makes anybody sick. God makes people well. God is in a healing business. He doesn't put sicknesses on people. He may allow you to go through it for a time but God's will is always to heal. And sometimes we just have to have a little patience and persevere long enough, you know, to get our healing, you know, if you ask one time and it doesn't happen, don't give up. And many of you have done that very same thing, watching this broadcast, you know? Some of you, many people that I talk to that get healed on the broadcast, they've been watching the broadcast for months or years, some of them, you know? Some of you before you get healed, you see. So don't give up, don't quit. Don't throw the towel in. God's healing is for everybody. Jesus said in John chapter six, verses 37 and 38, all that the Father give me, here's that all again, all that the Father give me shall come to me. And him that comes to me, I will in no wise cast out. You never have to worry about Jesus casting you out if you come to him. He said, all who come to me? Jesus said, if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me. Amen. And then he said, for I came down from heaven not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me. He says it again. You see, it is God's will that all should come. The Bible says God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Do you feel your faith being built up today? Do you feel your faith being encouraged to believe God for your healing, for your miracle? Well, it's no wonder because Romans 10, 17 says, so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. See, the more you listen to these broadcasts and broadcasts like these, where the anointing of God for healing is present. And you hear the Word of God shared by the power of the Holy Spirit. It builds your faith, you see. Hebrews 13, eight, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. You know, Pastor Sean has done literally hundreds of videos, morning prayers just like this and other videos on healing. He talks about how it's God's will to heal like we're talking about right now. He talks about how God still works miracles today. You need to find those videos. Watch them if you need a healing. Do you know someone else who needs a healing? Send the videos to them, so they can prepare themselves to receive a miracle from God. Amen? See, you gotta take time preparing yourself, you know? You got to work on your faith. Amen? The Bible tells us to work out our salvation through fear and trembling. We have to work on our faith. We gotta build our faith, you know? Don't spend time listening to the naysayers that try to tell you it's not God's will to heal you for one reason or another. Don't listen to that, amen? Listen to the word of God. Let yourself be saturated by the word and you'll feel, many of you are feeling it right now. You're feeling your faith build up. You're feeling your faith become stronger. You're feeling yourself becoming encouraged to believe God for a miracle. God, I thank you once again for every single person. Lord, healing is for everybody. I pray that you touch every person under the sound of my voice. If anyone needs a healing, Lord, I pray that they would be healed right now in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah, glory to God.
