It actually means great amount of anything. It is pretty healthy for you, so whatever you do, just enjoy some of fungo today. All right, sit up in entertainment on September the 24th. All right, let's see what happened on September the 24th. 1493 Christopher Columbus set sail on his second expedition to the new world. Now if you remember on his first expedition he had those three ships. This expedition he about 17 ships. 1890 Wilfred Woodruff, he was the president of the Latter-day Saints. He issued a manifesto saying that teaching and practicing polygamy should be abandoned. So Utah was a United States now and the Mormons they could get a lot of trouble with the United States government if they kept practicing polygamy. 1952 Kentucky Fried Chicken opened up its first franchise restaurant. Salt Lake City Utah. In 2012 China they banned all books written by Japanese authors and all books about Japan. Let's go back and go. There's a lot of TV shows on that started today. So let's say the first one would have been the Munsters in 1964. 60 Minutes in 1968. Yeah, that one is still on. The Love Boat in 1977. Big Bang Theory in 2007. The Goldbergs 2013. Black is 2014. She was born in Los Angeles in 1918. She started acting out on Broadway in 1942. Then she took a long break from acting to raise five kids. Started acting again in the 1970s. She had really big playing Mrs. Roper on Three's Company. Then they tried to spin it off and do his own sitcom, The Ropers. Yeah, they tanked really bad. Audrey, she started acting pretty much acting her rest of her life. She died from leukemia in 1997 and 79 years old. She was married to her first husband from '43 to 1970. They were the ones who had the five kids. Then she married a second husband for seven years before they divorced. ♪ It's time to play the music ♪ Jim Hansen is born at Greenville, Mississippi in 1936. Jim created the Muppets in 1958. Then in 1969, he joined Sesame Street in his popularity with his Muppets. Yeah, that exploded. He got their own TV show, The Muppets, from 1976 to 1981. Now, later on, he actually created the TV show Fraggle Rock. Besides Muppet movies, which were, he did quite a few, Jim, he directed the movie Labyrinth. He married in 1959 and they had five children. All five of those kids worked for his company, the Jim Hansen Company. Jim died at 53 years old in 1990. He had toxic shock that was brought on by step throat. That was Jerry and the pacemakers. Jerry, he was Jerry Marsden. He was born in Tuxteth, England in 1942. They formed in 1956. They were the second most successful group from Liverpool, England ever. Well, behind the Beatles. They had the hits. How do you do it? I like it. You'll never walk alone. Jerry was with the band until he retired in 2018 because of health reasons. He had married in 1965 and they had two daughters. Then Jerry died in 2021 and 78 years old from a blood infection in his heart. Comedian actor Phil Hartman, he was born in Brentford, Ontario, Canada in 1948, moved to the United States when he was 10. In 1975, Phil and a young comedian named Paul Rubins developed the character of Pee Wee Herman. Phil even co-wrote the movie Pee Wee's Big Adventure with Paul Hartman. He was on Saturday Night Live from 1986 to 1994. Then he started on TV show News Radio. Some movies he was in were Housecast, Sergeant Bill Coe, Jingle All The Way. Married his third wife in 1987 and they had two children. Now his wife, she had a lot of trouble with drugs and alcohol. She went to rehab twice. Then on May 27th in 1998, while Hartman was in bed asleep, his wife came in and shot him three times. Then she killed herself with the same gun. Phil Hartman, he was 49 years old. Actor Kevin Sorbo, 66, he was born in Mount Minnesota in 1958. In the 1990s, he was in 150 TV commercials. Then he played Hercules in five TV movies. They turned those five TV movies into the series Hercules ran for five years. After that was over, he did Andromeda. Then he started in these Christian movies. God's not dead, Joseph and Mary. Let there be light left behind. Rise of the Antichrist. Sorbo, he married in 1998 and they have three children. Actress Nia Vartilos, she's 62. She's one of Winnipeg, Canada in 1962. Started off doing comedy and then she hit big in the movie Mike Big Fat Greek Wedding, also two and three. But on the first one, she was nominated for an Oscar for writing it. She was also in my life in ruins and I think the other was like helicopter mom. She was married for 25 years when they divorced and they had one daughter. Let's go back to China.
