Larry Dale Clifton, 76 of Eden, died September 22nd. Memorial services are Friday at 2, with visitation at 1. He was born in Rockingham County, served in the United States Army, and worked as a machine operator at Philcrest Mills until retirement. Surviving our wife Shirley Ann Eccles Clifton, son Larry Dale Clifton Jr. of Eden, two grandchildren, brothers Randy and Robert Clifton, and sister Diane Hill. Funeral services for Sylvia King Smith are Saturday at 2, visitation at 1, with private entombment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum. Vivian Elizabeth Ferguson Harris, 93, died September 22nd. She was born in Leaksville, was a former member, treasure, and musician at Eden Baptist Church, and retired from Rockingham County Department of Social Services in 1993. Surviving our sons, Stephen Harris and Leah of Southport, Scott Harris, and Katherine Greensboro, four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Talmage Harris. Grapeside services are Sunday at 2 at Overlook Cemetery, Pastor Sam Hunt officiating. Donations may be made to Clap's nursing center in Pleasant Garden. Arrangements for Barbara Warren, 86 of Stokesdale, are incomplete at Perry Spencer Funeral Home in Madison. James Michael Chumley, 72 of Eden, died September 20th. There will be no services. He was born in Leaksville and retired from the Rockingham County school system.
