Juvenile petitions have been served on another Rockingham County student for making threats of mass violence against a school on social media. This time at Moorehead High School in Eden. The juvenile is a Moorehead student. A week ago there was a similar incident at Bethany Charter School in Summerfield. An Eden man has been arrested at Myrtle Beach after a chase on highway 87 ended in Ridgeway when his vehicle was forced off the road by Henry County Sheriff's deputies and he escaped. Carlton Hazlett 35 has been charged with alluding line enforcement, assault on line enforcement and larceny of a vehicle. Investigation is ongoing. Atrium Health says it's canceling those obligations and will forgive the debts some dating back more than 20 years. It affects 11,500 liens on people's homes in six states. Rockingham County Public Health has a new director of nursing beginning today. Amanda Loy has over 10 years of clinical and nursing leadership experience.
