It's time for Trump and any major party candidate for president to receive the same level of security that the sitting president and vice president receive. And I'm glad Trump is unharmed. And what happened yesterday doesn't take away from the fact that Trump IS a threat to democracy, and democracy IS on the ballot this November.

There is no public figure alive in America today That spews more hate and Insights more violence than Donald Trump does Stop That's also true That's also a fact And we should be able to acknowledge both And I am not necessarily saying that either one of those statements Has anything to do with the other? I Believe that Again, it doesn't matter what I think about Trump I believe there's no politician in America right now that spews more hate than Donald Trump does every time Donald Trump opens his mouth He's hating on someone hating on some group of people doesn't He's still the Republican nominee for president and I now think we're at a point where any major party nominee for president deserves the same level of security Secret service security law enforcement security that the sitting president And the sitting vice president of the United States gets What happened yesterday should be condemned by everybody Trump deserves better security That's all true But this is all true as well Trump's the biggest megaphone. He's he's by far the biggest megaphone for hate in this country right now my god the the morning of before the attempted assassination Donald Trump Tweeted out on truth social in all caps.
