two men in critical condition this morning after shooting in West Philadelphia happened about eight o'clock last night police responding to that shooting in 911 calls along the 700 block this is South 58th Street after hearing shots fired in that area police say they found two young men suffering gunshot wounds and 18 year old shot in the chest forearm in the buttocks the shoulder a 24 year old also shot in the upper body as well as his head both young men in critical condition this morning and no word on a motive ballistics here they're still getting all of this information as far as firearms all of that no arrests in this case and then we had a student at St. Joseph's University injured after being struck by a car this is Montgomery County last night the traffic was all closed on City Ave if you were in that vicinity but eight o'clock last night this is technically Lower Marion Township but authorities say the driver did remain on the scene after the crash and the victim was rushed right there to Langdon Hospital which is nearby but still in critical condition this morning no word yet on what led to the collision or if charges are being filed we don't have much on this just that it's a St. Joseph St. Joseph's University student critically injured struck by that car last night the airmark union by the way just if you're going down to the ballpark tonight for are hopefully hopefully we're grabbing the bi-week and winning this one against the Cubs tonight but airmark union still striking those big inflatable rats out there and striking workers asking you yes please go cheer on the fills but as well please bring your own food and drinks and tailgating airmark releasing statements and saying they have worked with the union they have been generous with the union and they continue to do so so we're following that one for you you mentioned yesterday inflatable rat and you meant you mentioned it multiple times and I think I don't know for some reason I remember you saying it but I didn't ask what is the the relevance behind behind the inflatable rat is that their mass is that their logo what what is that no the rat I think the rat is symbolic of first of all reminding anybody who is inside and will and will work and will work and be a so-called union scab part of it scab and a so the sign of you know the sign of hey okay you're not showing solidarity your rat or or as well I think it's just calling out calling out those who aren't loyal to the union okay and to generalize great okay thank you for the clarification there's a whole history to it we'll get into it okay uh former union boss john docherty johnny doc reporting to federal prison today to begin serving his six-year sentence in federal prison on on his convictions on corruption among other things that's another headline this morning and biden Harris the biden Harris administration announcing they're sending more troops to the middle east as tensions rise we talked about this yesterday as people in levin honor being warned to get out and as well american state department has raised the level to level three as far as um the safety risks and travel risks to that region or to get out because soon they predict you won't be able to get a commercial flight yeah I I can't imagine I you know whether you're jewish or middle eastern as an american resident having the actual guts to even want to fly over to that region of the world right now you know I go out my family my uh yeah dying in law whatever it is I mean that you wouldn't get me within three countries of that entire region right now yeah one of my girlfriends her husband is grew up in levin on bay route yep that has the largest catholic christian population is that right of any of the middle east country wow I did not know that so all of her in laws are there okay and you do you mention elderly folks you know many people say this is my home right but there are there are many in you know in america and this region they're very worried about their loved ones begging them yeah let us fly you out let us get you get you out of there absolutely so we're following that as tensions rise I know we're going to get into the letter so-called and the ryan ruth and the latest in the court proceeding yesterday that basically had democrat talking points all in oh my gosh it could have been it could have been a script for msmbc i just think it could have been a script for msmbc the christian welcome pen that i why is the accused attempted assassin why does he have a letter when usually it's a it's a manifesto yeah yeah do you notice that but this is just a letter right it was just conveniently in a box and then he just randomly stopped writing he didn't finish it was like it was like I was typing my big take and all of a sudden I had to get the girls off the bus and I forgot to finish writing my big take bizarre is this a personal this is for an audience of one that's yet that's happening a couple of times folks and I saw this headline early this morning that an Idaho man is now charged with threatening to kill trump these were phone calls to marilago he's identified as warren jones crazy bull made at least nine threatening phone calls to the former president's residence this according to court documents so I know we'll talk about all of this and above as we get through the day want to talk about our fillies but we're sponsored by indeed need to hire you need indeed they're all in one platform helping you attract interview and hire candidates all from one enough for today we'll teach you about the internet tomorrow they have a little bracelet yeah they do yeah yeah yeah I think I think the fillies are one of five teams that can win it fillies dodgers brewers Yankees guardians but we're the one yeah so we uh we beat the cubs six two last night got a got a win again tonight as Greg Stocker pointed out to earn that bye week very important and the good news is the numbers are on our side to do so we have the best home record in the entire MLB this season so hopefully we get her done and get that bye but here's the important question on the show for all of us yeah if we get a Yankees fillies world series how do we treat our our partner in the backfill almquist I mean we have to we have to make bets with them I mean if you like the rat at our mark now we'll have an inflatable fill I love it we are sponsored by Piazza autogroup take on the road in a stylish new Mazda get 0% APR 36 months on select new models like the 2024 CX 30 CX 5 and obviously we have a the hurricane season and I know that the Gulf Coast in Florida our friends there are bracing for this huge storm Helen that's that's hitting Hurricane Helen that's aiming for South Florida so watching that one very carefully killing company news live all right on thank you very much 614 Tuesday morning let's get to another big take the big take on killing company and it is brought to you this morning by budget blinds America at war domestic and foreign the United States is a powder keg waiting to ignite at any moment and I don't believe that is hyperbole that is the state of affairs in America after the latest revelations on Monday new details emerging in the second assassination attempt of Donald Trump the DOJ releasing evidence that included a letter from Ryan Ruth handwritten offering a hundred and fifty thousand dollars to anyone who would kill Donald Trump the letter which ends abruptly and incomplete states the following quote this was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I am so sorry I failed you I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster it is up to you now to finish the job and I will offer 150,000 dollars to whomever can complete the job everyone across the globe from the youngest to the oldest knows that Trump is unfit to be anything much less a US president US president must at bare minimum embody the moral fabric that is America and be kind caring and selfless and always stand for humanity Trump fails to understand any of dot dot dot dot and then the letter just ends like that so first we had Butler PA in July with a 20 year old second was the West Palm Beach attempt in September on Trump's golf course but according to Florida Congressman Matt Gates there's at least five teams in the United States currently with the sole objective of taking out Trump listen and watch this and I'll break a little news for you I had a senior official from the Department of Homeland Security in my office before the second assassination attempt saying that what he has assessed is that there are five known assassination teams in the United States three inspired by other governments to that are here that are known domestic assassination teams and with that this individual was coming to me concerned that the force protection around president Trump even prior to that second assassination attempt was not sufficient for what it needed to be and the coordination at that level at the dignitary protection level is like the bare minimum that we have to do to keep our presidents our presidential candidates safe all there on the trail so there are so it is 2024 and we have a former president who is reportedly on a kill list as if he's Osama bin Laden how how is that possible according to Breitbart the three foreign teams emanate from Iran Ukraine and Pakistan and isn't it ironic that as America revs up the war machine again the man who was anti-war and didn't want to keep funding the military industrial complex is suddenly now in the crosshairs literally and why are we hearing about so much pushback from the federal agencies why the lack of transparency communication and teamwork at the state or local level to solve these acts and to make sure they never occur again how have these kill teams not been taken out yet Florida governor Ron DeSantis claims that his state is being stonewalled by the feds after the second attempt on Trump's life listen and watch this the answer is no they're not being cooperative yes i am concerned i mean for example we were rebuffed our investigators were rebuffed just going to the fence line outside of trump international golf club in west pom beach and so i think they've taken the position you know they don't want the state of florida to be involved in this but here's the thing there were multiple violations of florida law across multiple jurisdictions we think at least three judicial circuits this guy ryan ralph committed potential violations of florida law so we have a duty to investigate this we have a duty to bring the appropriate charges and we also have a duty to inform the public about how this happened so i don't anticipate they're being cooperative i think that they've just taken that position and i think that that's unfortunate because even though i've been very clear state of florida is going to do an investigation uh you know i've not disputed their their right to also investigate it's a federal government he was in their protective custody as a presidential candidate uh but let us do this so hopefully that tunal change but i can tell you right now laura uh we have not gotten a lot of uh receptive uh receptive response meanwhile you'd think we would have reached the point where democrats would tone down the rhetoric right wrong listen and watch this i wanted to know if you think it's time for democrats to stop calling trump a threat to democracy no uh the fact of the matter is that he is a threat to democracy no i think we should be clear that he is a threat to democracy do you think that the rhetoric though needs to be toned down i think his rhetoric should be toned down absolutely listen these are the facts he is a threat period point blank that was jia paul crockett and hank johnson of georgia jia paul and crockett the two kind of dems who always claim a community is under attack from words but when a republican is under attack physically by action well it's up to trump to tone it down peak dem hypocrisy and over the weekend we also found out new details about the july thirteenth incident in pennsylvania with thomas matthew crooks as the secret service is now saying that vital info was not relayed over radio which delayed the response time to the would be assassin acting director ronald ro claiming that there was quote communication deficiencies but at least those in the house of representatives have somewhat of a moral compass as all four hundred and five elected both democrat and republican voted unanimously to pass the secret service protection bill for people like donald trump a rare bipartisan effort to boost protection for presidents candidates for president as well as vice president the legislation surprisingly introduced by two new york democrats and then we get to the wars and the conflict abroad russia u kraine buckle up the middle east here we go again news coming down yesterday that the united states will be sending more troops to the middle east as the latest israel has below fighting is escalating to the brink of all out regional war and prior to this news yesterday if you recall we were told this back on september tenth during the debate between trump and kamala harris listen and watch this and as of today there is not one member of the united states military who is an active duty in a combat zone in any war zone around the world the first time this century of course that went on fact checked by the abc news moderators and as we know as abc zone martha raditz had the fact check her own people there are currently approximately thirty five hundred troops deployed in active combat zones around the world it was a lie then it's even more of a lie now as that clip has not aged well as now we have more troops going to the middle east and can someone explain to me what exactly Pennsylvania governor josh superior was doing yesterday in scranton with you cranes flautomier zolensky i want you to watch this clip on youtube there's really not any audio you'll see what's about to occur here let's roll this film Shapiro autographing shells to be used in ukraine as zolensky looks along with a grin on his face and this was at an artillery shell plant in scranton scranton pennsylvania so we now have zolensky essentially endorsing the harris walls campaign and then he yuking it up with the guy that kamala snub because i personally believe he's jewish does that sit well with you it doesn't sit well with me because the democrats have become the party of funding endless wars censorship and weaponized government is this all going down now six weeks out to give a boost to the odds of harris being reelected as she goes from veep to potus and how does america get behind this if you're an american voter watching what we just showed you how do you get on board with that because with the other guy who keeps getting shot at we didn't have any of this and it would end quick fastening in a hurry if he's back in office it's also probably why they want him dead and that's the big take the big take on tailing company and it's brought to you by budget blinds if you're ready for fall well they are too budget blinds is your one stop shot for blinds shades shutters custom drapery and motorization visit budget blinds.com for a free in-home consultation today and the only no questions asked warranty in the business when you schedule your consultation ask about their special radio offer eight five five eight three nine twelve ten if you want to jump in on the latest trump revelations as well as the escalating conflict globally and our country's involvement you can do so also on social media at twelve ten w_p_h_d_ or let it rip in the youtube chat we're back after this live on a tuesday morning nicton and greg it's killing company on talk radio twelve ten w_p_h_d_ it's killing company on demand from talk radio twelve ten w_p_h_d_ and the free odyssey app out of a bounce around a week i know we were like super in the weeds yesterday on the election mail-in ballots early voting uh voting shenanigans things like that so more of a uh diverse show today at least from a content standpoint but i do want to start with the big take uh done your thoughts because and again i don't know if if what matt gates is saying is accurate i have no idea who the senior official that came to his office but that is a startling revelation that i i think should be more headline grabbing and more headline worthy five assassination teams in the united states to kill donald trump three of which are foreign two of which are domestic not sure which one when you split the hairs there is more scary but it's scary to me from the standpoint and of course everything that's going on globally but like if you if you think that you know this would just end once trump wins or loses november fifth or november eight or thirty five days later when they finally figure out who won the thing i i i don't think it's going to ever stop like this is not just a scare tactic to get him out of office luckily like if if he wins i think for the next four years there will be continual attempts on his life same thing if he loses i mean there's still sick people out there like this ryan ruth guy that three years from now if trump loses i mean he can be eaten a burger on on a golf course patio and some nut jobs in a tree hut so i'm not sure how much this concerns you or the wars that are getting escalated with zalensky in the middle east but i'll give you your crack at all these conflicts foreign and abroad well remember two things that i will say so so yesterday mac gates releasing that statement based on a whistle blower who is saying this but it doesn't surprise me because we know that for example chris ray with the f_b_i_ he had talked he had confirmed that we have uh... in our country that we know of three hundred at least individuals on the terra watch list and they caught about two hundred of them so what happened to the other hundred guys that they know about but and that's just a a guest in it and i and when i when i heard that well that that's quite a guest in it you know i might think like oh there are a lot of things you might guesstimate about yeah but that one i think is kind of important so right where these other you know one hundred people individuals on a terra watch list in in the world not not american citizens but the blue came across the biden harris crosswalk it's not a border number one so where those people then as far as the number two with this i would say what about the guy who we don't hear about the july twelve the rest a man with clear ties flew into the country had a home in uston right uh... had clear ties but a lot of time in terran in iran and the that guy was here to hire hitman to kill trump and so the question was will they got him they arrested him because he had among the people he called uh... one of them thank god was an informant he wasn't a federal agent he was just an informant who then told you know the feds but how many other people did he actually get a hold up yeah and he was offering them big bucks and allegedly backed by iran and so maybe he hired i don't know a handful of individuals do you know what i'm saying so no i'm glad it's only five yeah it's remarkable and there's two things based on what you said i want to follow up on i love how you talked about ray throwing out the the loose uh... number of well we think we got about two of the three hundred that's like me saying i i think i got two of the three gardener snakes in the garage honey there's still thirty three percent of them that might be out there but i'm sure they know the exact count of people that they're going after for january six because i would think that that's probably still higher on their priority list and then and then when we talk about you know these people that are coming through the southern border with terrorist ties we're just assuming that these people if these hit teams are out there from pakistan or on ukraine that they came through the southern border i'll be very cryptic i'll be very duh whatever the word you want to use is how do we know that our own government didn't just bring them in here not through the southern border but in some sort of clandestine operation overnight when it's dark out on a plane we've already seen biden in harris in that administration flying people all throughout the country at night and putting um you know migrants in random cities how do we not know that this is a a complete government orchestrated operation that's the scary part of this and i just look at the timing of all of this as zalinski's here with that little that little smirk on his face by the way every time i see zalinski and he's got a grin on his face like i just i just want to give him like one of those little uh those little back hands this guy has been being funneled money and weaponry now for closing in on three years and then schapiro is there autographing the shells our buddy richard nataro sends us a tweet just now he says signing shells that will kill combatants with which we are not at war great a total d move by josh shapiro also why doesn't he sign munitions that will be used by the israelis against their enemies i don't know if that if you saw that video i know i played it in the big take yesterday it just didn't sit well with me like the democrats are absolutely the party of war right now which again i think of the timing of all of this you've got war going after trump we've got war escalating to even higher levels and always keep in mind that like trump was a peacetime president you say it all the time peace and prosperity and i really do believe amongst many reasons that is that is one of the top three reasons that they want him dead because he is impacting the military industrial complexes bottom line he's bad for business if you're in the business of war and i think that's a big reason why they want him out of the equation and so the reason um the reason that josh governor josh shapiro was theirs we have you know this huge munitions plant yep that's here in pa so it's great to celebrate jobs but yet to bring the linsky to the plant and then it was a lot of people thought it was bizarre that they were autographing autographing that the ballistics that they create that that was i think a bad look and that's not usual for for josh shapiro who's a local guy and we've known him uh that that was i i think it was bizarre but i will say that um as well as linsky the reason he's here obviously the the un is convening and this will be biden's last speech today um addressing the un but yeah i think it it that we have to think about the fact that it was the phone call was a linsky that remember it was a perfectly legal phone call was a linsky that was the one with trump that they claimed liz chaney and great claims that's the one our buddy so farish always imitates as the perfect phone call the perfect and and it was a perfectly legal phone call technically it was if you look at it you might not like some of the language whatever uh but it was legal it was determined to be legal but that that was the excuse uh to launch you know impeachment against trump so it's kind of ironic isn't it? it is it really is and then we get more updates yesterday from ryan ruth and that letter i read you the letter you saw the visual nice job phil putting up the graphic of that letter um i know stalker you said you had to thought that it was uh it was like litigate democrat copy points from him as nbc threat to democracy uh they could have been written you know uh uh he's making us unsafe around the world it they could have been written by uh jaya paul or rocket by a script writer it and yeah nbc or msnbc yep so uh some of the updated details uh this courtesy of the palm beach post which obviously is the jurisdiction in which this incident occurred two sundays ago uh they say as it stands the 58 year old ruth faces a maximum of 20 years in prison for two federal firearms offenses assistant u.s. attorney mark despoto said monday that additional evidence collected in the wake of ruth's arrest including that handwritten letter detailing an attempt to kill trump supports a far more serious charge despoto said the government will convene a grand jury in hopes of indicting ruth on one count of attempting to kill a major political candidate which is punishable by the life in prison uh yesterday the federal prosecutor gave u.s. district judge ryan mccave an overview of the new evidence against ruth during a pre detention hearing his presentation included anecdotes from an e-book that ruth wrote in february of 2023 a year and a half before investigators say he aimed that semi-automatic rifle across trump international golf club in the book titled u cranes unwinnable war ruth said he felt partly to blame for having elected a president who quote ended up being brainless quote i am man enough to say and this is ruth in this e-book and these follow-up documents that have been found i am man enough to say that i misjudged and made a terrible mistake and iran i apologize you are free to assassinate trump as well as me for that error in judgment and dismantling of the deal no one here in the u.s seems to have the balls to put natural selection to work or even unnatural selection um there's a few other details these letters apparently especially the one that we showed you uh and i read from in the big take were in a box that ruth dropped off at the witnesses home in north carolina several months prior to the assassination attempt the witness who was in possession opened the box after learning of ruth's arrest inside he found ammunition a metal pipe miscellaneous building materials tools four cell phones and various letters one address to the world that we just read for you uh ruth's team of public defenders quoted parts of the letter that despoto left out and he uh ruth wrote the following quote while i sit at the big house i'm willing to pay the price the writer also said his actions quote would make a few more people to stop and think about how wonderful our democracy is according to the data retrieved and this is the other scary part from the cell phone ruth went to trump international golf club and mara lago multiple times during the month before the attempted assassination so this guy had an orchestrated plan from what we also gather he had like a sniper's nest that was set up in those weeds he was eating prepackaged sausages like this guy was ready to go and this guy is very very mentally disturbed from the Ukraine writings to uh you know oh by the way iran you i'm like this guy is apologizing to a nation like iran and then thinking he's in some power position of it's okay i grant you the ability to do the job that i couldn't do like if you're donald trump right now you got to be very very thankful that that house bill which i mentioned in the big take was unanimously passed because i played to the clips like you know hank johnson and those other squad dems that we're like oh no we're not going to stop calling him a threat he is a threat he is what we're calling a spade a spade yet thankfully it was unanimous and i'm honestly a little surprised because i wasn't paying attention to that vote friday before they broke for the weekend and i saw it on saturday sunday we didn't get to it yesterday so we got to it today it would not have surprised me don stenzlin if some of those democrats uh in the house that really view him to be a quote threat to democracy or they at least keep insinuating and calling him that would have voted against this now this still has to go to chuck shoomer and others to make it official and you know by that point you know trump could be out of the political spectrum but it's like one final positive bipartisan act where like we shouldn't even have to celebrate this or this should be like a common vote and it shouldn't even make the news cycle because we should all be on board with that right like we have to protect republican or democrat by the way although nobody seems to go after a democrat not that i'm encouraging that it's very one way in in regards to protecting trump but it's it's it should be a story today that four hundred and five to zero when's the last time we've seen anything go four oh five to zero almost never happens well this was all part of congress and congress averting the shutdown so it has to do with the larger budget and i think they love to have things like this in the headlines because then we don't look at what else they threw in there good point distraction yep so we're all distracted because that's always that's always the game plan yep hey this will really grab some headlines with all this assassination stuff in the headlines so they'll be looking at that and they won't see all the pork that we put in there you know right to enrich our you know our own ourselves or our families or our communities etc and then lastly the great news yesterday and i said this what happened but i predicted this would be his final campaign stop i said in weeks ago if not over a month ago or maybe it was even two months ago it's in early august that i if i'm trump not only do i go back to butler pa but i make it my last stop last time you see me like i think i said something to the effect of have an iconic indelible moment and then go dark for five days like kamala hahara studying for a final exam or a debate just don't just go go completely off the grid but it was announced yesterday according to sources still not a hundred percent verified but i believe this is a formality that trump will go back to butler pennsylvania for a rally next month next yeah the ten days eleven days for now october fifth exactly one month from election day i think that's one of the most badass flexes of all time a place where you damn your got your head blown off and he's going to go back you may recall i had requested that date because that's our bi-week in football did you really yeah remember that no i don't but i don't take your word i don't yeah i believe it you making political i'm invisible you made political predictions based on a football bi-week no i just have a thoughtful concept i just because we had said that greg had said that he was gonna we're gonna have like a boss or something a killing company did i vpht yeah we were now that he doesn't remember anything i say i'm just going to make it up and go with it he did say a lot of things he said road trip for a remote road trip remote mm-hmm yeah yep he did say that and road warriors been tweeting us pictures of old vw parford's family minivan thank you all and company road trip i love my i love him i know he's the best road that's one we're seeing that he's not accurate unlike my new york claim about trump but did i say that we're gonna do a live broadcast yet well you said we would go yep what's october 5th uh i wonder what's the day i'll go i'll go to saturday it's the saturday it's the bi-week um i'm gonna be a talent fee for saturday it's just gonna say does anybody want to give up the saturday well let me see you i'll give it up i would love to go i'll give it up i'll give it back to you guys the bus we'll have we'll have like a satellite on top of the uh scooby-doo purchase family whatever bus yep yep you know so i'm looking forward to that donald trump saying he's quote excited to go back for a big beautiful rally and he will be honoring cori comparator the former chief uh of the fire department who died during the shooting and the two others who were injured when the gunman opened fire uh according to the trump campaign not immediately clear where the rally will take place if it will be at the same venue but i'll make one prediction that that rooftop that that little coward crooks was laying on it's gonna be covered this time yeah they shouldn't go back if not i'll lay there if that's w we should and talk right here to us we should be up there yeah we put doll out there we're done with a scope right and and we'll have like um bulletproof mega-mama bustiades you know we'll get sousie cool we'll get a whole group of the seriously we should be on the rooftop yeah that way we we take up the space and we'll like that'd be awesome yeah cover the roof and maybe we'll actually have people with radios and communication that can do their job and relay information in real time unlike these stooges that for some reason we had a communications deficiency it's unacceptable you know you think about trump and just back to your big take and looking zooming out for a moment looking at all of this why who wants to get him why you think about we talk about the the industrial war complex all of that but every rally he talks about the fact how much iran when he was president was broke and he called all of our business partners even china you buy oil from them and we're done and so they he dried up their resources so this is when you zoom out on this why do they not want trump why is the focus right now ready for the election to take out trump i believe it's because this is iran backed in my mind it's very obvious very well big because it's all about the money you look at how wealthy they have become during the biden harris administration and their money and their resources had dried up under trump they do not want him yep follow the money chris appleito says i call shotgun in regards to the the the ride to the man give me the most thorns gonna fire up the maga minivan we're all heading to the right nature a five five eight three nine twelve ten who needs allen lickman in his record when you have cookies election wrong as well and right now if you're tracking great funny story from the new york post donald trump leads kamala harris in the beloved since an adi bakery cookie poll fifty four percent to thirty nine percent as donald trump has had two thousand nine hundred and fifty three cookies sold to kamala harris is two thousand one hundred and thirty four cookies and by the way the math doesn't add up right you're saying fifty four thirty nine seven percent are purchasing independent cookies three hundred and ninety seven of those the cookie poll will remain open until election day on november fifth so we've got early cookie precinct reporting as the tallies reflect the result of early voting for those with a sweet tooth so there you go go for another cookie you need another food drop we need those once a week all right that'll do it for the six o'clock hour we'll come back donald have some news to kick off the six o'clock seven o'clock hour and i want to get to this tim wall story as well as a big victory for a m radio if you've been listening to the show for the last six to nine months we've given you updates every time there's new details when it you know revolves around the future of our format on one specific band and it was almost unanimous 45 to two the details when we come back kaolin company hour two is next start your day with kaolin company weekday morning six till ten on tark radio twelve ten w u p h t in the free odyssey app am radio and also a couple of other interesting stories post-covid that we're going to get to and also we have to get to this study on the male brain that randomly decides to shrivel up at a certain point each day and i can verify this shrivel up though i shrivel up the man's brain i was like half-listing and there's no there you go i know great i know it's beautiful what it's not my story i didn't find it greg did but it's i think it's a good one we got to talk about this because i can confirm this all right well we'll get the cut sheet coming up to seven forty five as well but let's get to the news around number two here at seven oh three the great dawn stencil and good morning kaolin company news live this Tuesday september 24th we're at sixty one degrees and cloudy this morning and we are sponsored in kaolin company news live by indeed in the news i'll begin with a follow-up story and this is something we talked about yesterday as far as what happened across the streets of philadelphia philadelphia police now to say that investigators are now actively searching for those people and we heard about hundreds who carried out a series of car meetups across the city over the weekend injuring officers damaging mark patrol vehicles and wreaking havoc essentially across the city so hundreds of these individuals face criminal charges a two thousand dollar fine and their vehicles will be confiscated that's the latest from police what's interesting here and even elan musk had retweeted some of these videos that we showed you yesterday here in kaolin company and that was that many were dressed in these banana suits they wore donald trump masks green alien costumes and all these people descending on philadelphia and they they called the night of mayhem dubbed project acts online that resulted in police officers being surrounded and as i say in in many cases their cars their vehicles were attacked people jumped on the marked patrol cars smashing in windshields and windows so law enforcement saying that the meetups including people drag racing doing donuts exploding fireworks we talked yesterday about that weird ring of fire just outside city hall and cars spinning around there but these span from the northeast to southwest and as i say right outside city hall and so talking points as as we think about what was going on here why did they call it project act i was just going to ask was this something that was emanated and created via x on social media as in the platform x there the philadelphia enquirer is also writing about this this morning and they're noting that it's becoming a talking point for republicans talking about lawlessness and crime in blue cities so uh the house judiciary committee posted on on acts you're not safe and democrat run philadelphia and elan moscow shared some of the videos saying it resembled a scene from the joker yeah that's what i said yesterday yeah at the end of the end scene with walking phoenix when all hell's breaking lose people are you know rioting on top of cop cars um i don't know if she has given a statement but i'm i'm glad you bring up x and as you were talking about that i brought up shirrell parkers twitter page so three days ago shirrell parker tweeted about the global stage for monumental events in the city in twenty twenty six and how philadelphia airport is blah blah blah blah eight hours ago she tweeted congrats to our fillies so just on x alone zero comment from the mayor zero and she that was part of her platform right we're we're gonna we're gonna get the law and order back and she didn't say law and order specifically but she you know where this is not going to be you know and everyone you know try to you know even republicans were like okay we know we're not going to get a republican mayor so you know well well this is the best of the bond she where's the mayor at i will say that her the deputy commissioners were out there over the weekend and they were quote they were quoting mayor they were saying we're in constant communication with mayor shirrell parker she will not tolerate and we will not tolerate so i will say that she was delegating to the police they were quoting her and so and we we play at some point yesterday we played that audio maybe maybe the eleven o'clock hour i forget but at some point we did play that but she but she hasn't publicly come out and she personally i can't find audio if she personally has responded to that in my in my opinion and i know you and don't you and don't talk far more ultra uber local stuff that's unacceptable from the mayor what is she studying for the debate to ridiculous i mean she's not getting the benefit of that for me don i was like enough the honeymoon's over i let's go woman well i think that the question of the honeymoon i think is with the china town Sixers arena i think that's the the next big big argument i think that's what she's focused on but i will say she sent out her you know the police were quoting statements from her and said that they were actively working i'm just telling you well yeah no no i'm not i'm not getting mad at you i just i just this like you you have to give me more than that shirrell parker like i i don't talk about shirrell parker a tunnel in the show because i don't really don't think my audience really cares about what's going on in a city that's seven to one democrat where you know we're all disenfranchised because we know a republican mayor can't win but like she's got to do more i mean i got her tweeting about the fillies like you weren't elected to be the rah rah you're not the filly fanatic clean your streets up gosh we've talked about earlier in kill and company the headline that we have two young men one 18 one in his early 20s in critical condition this morning after that double shooting in west philadelphia no arrests no suspects we don't have all the details yet watching that one and as well we have a 16 year old boy who was found shot to death and this was outside uh one of our philadelphia high schools this is mart luther king high school and so that that one as well has philadelphia police investigating with this teenager shot right outside of the city high school just a horrible discovery and i will point out to you it happened late sunday night overnight sunday night into monday morning but uh police did give give us an update yesterday afternoon that the individual who was originally reported as a young man in his 20s or third 30s was actually just a 16 year old boy he's being identified as william honesty and he's from the west oak lane neighborhood so first responders you know finding him bleeding um on the lawn there at least three shots had been fired so that's under investigation when you talk about the shootings the lawlessness awful and i've you know it's just again for philadelphia as we think about back to school and we also talked about the investigation that's happening on the main line and this afterward of a student at st joseph's university there um and this by the way clogged up traffic last night right after sundown for hours and this was a win and we don't know the situation this was a motorist who struck and critically injurious st joseph's university students right there on city abs so we're following that for you we talked about october fifth the big rally announcement thonald j trump saying that i will be going back to butler pennsylvania for a big beautiful rally honoring the soul of our beloved firefighting hero kori and those brave patriots injured then what a day it'll be so fulfilling that promise as we now know that rally is saturday october fifth melania trump announcing her first interview of the 2024 elections cycle so the former first lady will sit down for her first interview and that will be with fox news angley airheart and it will be um that will air i believe this coming up thursday you know what they really should do and it's great it's cool to see that but i would actually make it from an interview to a press conference and let people gather and then trump can come out and say even my wife melania has done a press conference before my my opponent kamala harris that would be epic just let melania up there for a half hour and let the media just keep peppering her with questions unscripted and let her dunk on kamala and show that she's more competent to answer questions where she doesn't have a chance to study the answer for five days well kamala harris will be back here in pennsylvania i believe tomorrow and we know the trump had two different locations in pennsylvania just yesterday jd vance was here over the weekend just to let you know where the candidates are un session convening today last address of joe biden to that that's why zalinsky was here yesterday other headlines for you as we look at what's happening across the area and yes airmark workers in the union there still still out in the picket lines and still striking day two and that really brings us to citizens bank park where our philadelphia fillies for the first time in 13 years clenching the national league east crown last night first division title in 13 years so beating the cubs six to needing to win tonight to earn that by week as great stocker said earlier this morning so six forty p.m. six forty and they're so obviously it's clinched but i think the braves are still playing for that last wild card or like a game back so i'm going to try to pay attention to that a little bit because we could end up with three teams from the end at least in the playoffs is that good or bad i don't know if it's good or bad i just you know seeing all these teams from our own division it's familiarity so i think that's an advantage for the fills you never want to play one of these teams that you don't have a ton of familiarity with it all of a sudden they get hot and your bats go cold that's the thing about playoff baseball like you can have like a five-day stretch in the regular season where you can hit a ball and it's no big deal because it's 162 games you go cold in a five-game series or whatever the the series is the whole thing's over just like that that's a scary part i need swabber to keep raking so we have today our high 71 degrees and mostly cloudy today so maybe grab a jacket if you're heading if you're lucky enough to be headed to citizens bang park this evening for that six forty first pitch and then tomorrow much needed rain 70 degrees cloudy or rainy day hopefully more than we got yesterday which was just enough to cover the ground basically but we really need this rain so tomorrow we will get the rain midweek and then for you thursday we really warm back up we get out of the low 70s popping back up with a lot of sunshine and some and then thursday will go to 80 degrees friday 77 and then for a beautiful weekend saturday and sunday sunny 75 degrees just a gorgeous weekend ahead so love this forecast this week is sponsored by indeed need to hire you need indeed their end-to-end solution helping you live all right don't thank you very much eight five five eight three nine twelve ten so let's get to tim walls uh very interesting story in politica from his appearances past weekend in bethelham pennsylvania as watch as some of the football games i think it was on saturday and then i started seeing tim walls pop up in bethelham on my twitter timeline and i'm thinking all right just when i don't want to look at politics for a day they're right in my old backyard i got family up there the whole bit and politico wrote this column saying tim the headline being tim walls tests the limits of his working class appeal in pennsylvania's ultimate swing county and they write the following democrats the major opportunities to burst uh turnout in north anthon county it's also a microcosm of the challenges that harris and walls face nationally with working class men north anthon county in eastern pennsylvania is one of the most important and hottley contested swing counties in the country which if you don't know north anthon county it's easton it's bethelham and then some rural areas like stalker town no relation to greg stalker town yeah yeah and you kind of head up uh like route six eleven and up route 33 well before you get to strowsburg or the poconos that's kind of the area if you don't know what it's about and they write the following the democrats in one of the most important swing counties in the u.s were eager to fire tim walls up to the party faithful during his saturday visit they were also hoping that he would pull in some of the still skeptical working class voters for kamala harris and how she needs to woo them to clinch the must-win state but even according to politico the gun-owning car-fixing mid-western dad is facing skeptics of his own in his former steel town on saturday the campaign dispatched him to north anthon county and bethel mpa about 80,000 people in the lehigh valley that reside there where voters are pretty much down the middle it's kind of a centrist type area a little bit of moderate democrat a little bit of moderate republican certainly you have the fringes as well and this is the county that joe biden won by less than a percentage point just four years ago trump took it in 16 and obama took it twice so they were at the freedom high school gym which i know exactly where that's at walls is speaking there on saturday before lunch and he's trying to appeal to the younger working-class man so according to politico they spoke with a few people uh one individual was walking his dog across the town in bethelheim his name is a jay janton he's a forty seven-year-old self-described liberal independent who supported bernie sanders in the past democratic primaries he's the kind of democrat inclined voter that would lean towards harris that walls is trying to woo and but janson who works for the city is not planning to vote and walls is visit this past weekend didn't give him any second thoughts about the plan saying i don't support either one of them johnson said of harris and trump then you have an individual who's a youngster elia laval 22 who works in inventory and receiving at a shipping company in easton pennsylvania a city of 30 000 just north east of bethelheim he doesn't like trump but he's not enthused about harris either saying quote i probably won't be there he does not plan to vote and walls coming to the area did not sway him former gop rep charlie dent saying i'm not big on making predictions but i will make this prediction whichever candidate wins north hampton county will win pennsylvania and the white house so after reading this there's there's two takeaways i have knowing north hampton county having lived there for 34 years of my life do i think kamala harris gets the centrist moderate female in north hampton county yeah until the cows come home in spades in droves but as far as the working class man in north hampton county which a lot of my buddies fathers would qualify our city employees that you know pave rose like that i i don't believe that wall and i think north hampton county might actually be an indicator of any of these centrist swing counties in any battleground state we go back to the cut sheet yesterday tim walls i mean he goes from trying to hook up cruise control in a car that's 45 years old to then pivoting to project 45 right like nobody talks about that no there's not a person alive today who's working on their car lifts their head out from underneath their hood and says so how about project 45 how about project 25 how about project 36 it's not happening so i i really don't believe that tim walls brings what kamala harris was hoping that he would bring and i think and i think you can say well it's only two quotes from north hampton county i get that very small sample size i don't think he's going to win that group over i think working class men and i think the polls have shown us this favorite trump trump is which is goes to show you about these party realignment stats we've looked at like democrats are the party of liberal women coastal elites and well-educated ivy leaguers working-class dudes that get their hands greasy each day and have calluses i don't think they're voting for kamala harris and tim walls do you guys agree with that yeah i agree with that i just don't think that the that county the you and i grew up in is the same county that we grew up in i think it's been because of the closure of befland steel in 2003 no i think that it is um there's an influx of new york of new york and philadelphia and because it's it's a it's a great place to live where you can get houses with land and property cheap cheaper yeah um and it's the 70 mile commute to both philie and new york so i i think that it is um i think there's a lot of people that have come into that county uh that didn't grow up there like we did yeah we left right so i i think that for good reason there's more there's more to that than people think and i do well i do agree because in 16 that county went for trump and in 21 for biden so i do agree that it is a it's like one of the ultimate swing counties in pennsylvania oh yeah it usually does determine uh which way the state goes um i just think that it right now it's a crapshoot because you don't know how many especially during after the pandemic how many people left left yeah new york philadelphia uh relocated to places like that and you know brought their ideals with them well and that's the thing i'm not saying that kamala harris can't win north hampton county she'll win it though i think in spite of tim walls because of what you're talking about people moving into that area and because of single liberal women i don't think she will win north hampton county because tim walls went to freedom high school in bethland pennsylvania oh i agree with that yeah i don't think any of that stuff matters i think they spend a lot of time both campaigns you know trump was in western pa um both campaigns spend a lot of time in pennsylvania and for good reason uh at the end of the day i don't know if that matters all that much i mean i i think you can easily argue the case that right now when you're looking at certain segments of society and who's doing a better job of growing you know what used to be their vulnerability and i know you cited some uh number yesterday that said trump was only at seven percent with the black vote which that was according to an nbc poll nbc poll that's that's not my that's not my reporting that no no yeah no i'm saying you were citing a poll yeah so i i don't believe there's any way he gets seven percent i would argue that trump has done better in the last i don't know you want to call it two years three years whenever he came back out and said he was he was going to try to get back into the white house i think he's done a better job of growing the hispanic and black vote then tim now granted the time is major a major time difference here tim walls been on the campaign trail for you know six weeks um i i don't think tim walls is bringing in what is the vulnerability of the harris campaign and making that less of a vulnerability right i'm just looking at the census the populations of of lee high county which bethlem straddles both lee high and north hampton yep i mean their population gain is maybe like thirteen thousand uh people since since you know last year so i don't know i it's not a huge shift well thirteen thousand people change it i don't know but that's lee high county it's not north hampton county right no north hampton county so and oh it's yeah there was only thirteen thousand so it's uh north hampton county in 2016 had about three hundred and three thousand that was twenty sixteen so they went up a few thousand and now it's up so yeah it's like thirteen to fifteen thousand people depending on which model you look at it's not a huge number of population growth unless a lot of people left but to your point i think more people have probably moved from new york to philadelphia and when i talk to people even though you're saying this about north hampton and lee high county believe it or not our affordability for renters in the city of philadelphia is better from people that i talk to um in in these outlying counties believe it or not because of the availability our rents are are cheaper from new your friends from new york who are looking our rents are cheaper here in the city of philadelphia believe it or not then some of these outlying areas that's different from home ownership the greats talking about but i will say i don't know how much does that really how much will thirteen thousand people or fifteen thousand is that going to sway the i know these elections are close but is that really going to sway it that much i don't know i'm having flashbacks to that whole double hater concept that we were talking about when joe was still atop the ticket in the race just based off of just these two quotes i get it's it's one column but and i kind of alluded to this yesterday with you know our people getting you know harris trump fatigue like they had biden trump fatigue i think the answer is yes and based on the fact that two independent liberal leaning democrats have both said they're sitting it out and tim wall's coming here doesn't change that makes me think that there's there's still the double hater you know concept in play for this election because again if those are the people that are actually paying attention to these things they know Kamala harris is nothing new she's both side part of the biden campaign both sides though there are also republicans who won't vote for trump oh yeah oh yeah that Kamala harris yes yes um yeah i do look is there as many uh as there was with when it was biden and trump i don't think so but i think there still is going to be that contingent of people who just won't won't vote or won't vote for that ticket at the top of the ticket of those so vote maybe these counties are going to be very very interesting to track north hampton obviously for what we just said we talked about bucks county obviously our listening audience also yesterday i believe pressler was able to at least from a registration standpoint officially flip lizern county as far as more registered republicans than democrats for the first time since you know whenever i don't know if it was twenty twenty or twenty sixteen but those numbers have been flipped according you know to what he said based on being on the ground for ten hours eight five five eight three nine twelve ten do i have i know we're passed wait do we have time for it let me let me grab mike and flemmington because he has some thoughts on bevel him in eastern with north hampton county mike you go right ahead pal yeah i just want to make the case that the winning argument in those areas is there's not to saying we don't follow a project twenty twenty five it's a sit there go up and say this is the Kamala Harris wolf agenda which is gender transition training k through eighth grade which is if you don't volunteer to put your kid through gender transition will take your kid it's those types of arguments that's going to win those counties because that's what we're concerned with and the problem is is that they're combined they're saying what trump's agenda is project twenty twenty five we should be sitting there saying this is their agenda their agenda is all based on gender ideology and that's what we have to fight and say i believe mike here's the thing i'd like to agree with you but i'm going to cite bucks county because you're bringing up kind of the topic of the culture wars within the schools if you go back three years ago republicans were winning on the culture wars but if you go back in the last year to two years especially with some of these school board elections and i know that's like at a super grassroots level republicans have lost the culture wars i've had this conversation with charles mackaway who's the editor for real clear politics p_a_ and aphen kucharambas like that was i think a one-off especially with what desantis was able to do in florida if you look around the country right now i i would argue that republicans no longer have that that juice in the culture wars as far as the result doesn't mean we don't want that we do but i think i don't know that that's a deciding factor i think that's much further down the list like i would just argue about the economy in north amson county like to me i i i'm the you know economy it's crime it's the it's the major bullet points not the school culture wars which i'm certainly i love talking about as as a father don't you you're the same way you talk to these suburban moms but i i don't know that when you're looking at coin flip races and bellwethers i i don't know that's the deciding victory hand for the republicans i'd like to think it should it is and it should be but if you look recently i thought we go through montgomery county we went through bucks counting when we talked about these school board races and republicans lost i kind of feel like this the the steam has kind of left that sale a little bit yeah i agree with you i think that as far as you know today is national book band-aid this from the library association the librarian's union they're calling it national book band-aid and and that's just it's being carried by the the media the so-called mainstream media which is not mainstream or just independent yep and so that's just it that even parents locally who just said hey we don't want anybody bullied but we do and recently there was a case broad liberty they i think bethan rossica wrote about it that they recently in a local school district had a book that appeared in a library and it was said some really graphic stuff for little kids and they all just got together and decided yeah that's not appropriate in the library and it was really nice it was just nice and it was common sense yep and that's what we need yep i agree eight five five eight three nine twelve ten cut sheet in under 20 minutes as we continue killing company back after this this is the killing company podcast from talk radio twelve ten w p h d and on the free odyssey app let me grab frank he's in burlington he's got some thoughts frank good morning your own talk radio twelve ten hey nick i i kind of disagree with you just in terms of what the average voter thinks is important and that you know cultural issues really aren't at the top of the agenda i really think it's just because uh i mean me and you and everybody else that listen to you um we're in a really good informational bubble we know what's going on if you ask the average parents seriously in any school about the revisions to title nine you would get a blank stare from sixty percent of them right i think they don't really know what's going on i think if they did know you're talking about their children the children are even more important than the economy let's be honest yes and uh and i think if they really knew what was happening in the school as far as indoctrination and the literature and uh you know what's being pushed into the confusion that's being put in these poor kids heads i i think it would be a much much bigger issue but we have a media you know let's be honest if we don't listen to certain stations try to listen to you right you know yeah we have so much more informational input than they do and then most people though yeah yeah i actually i know i agree with you i actually think you're right when you think about this i think i think covid and having our kids home during the pandemic and doing virtual was kind of a wake-up call where parents started to figure it out and say oh what is this i didn't know this was being taught but to your point you're saying sixty percent you're probably right there's thirty five forty percent that now realize what's going on whether they listen to us or not but they they're now aware of it by seeing the the work that is in front of their kid's computer or on a packet or in their folder but they're still to your point there's probably two-thirds of society you're right you bring up title nine and they just look at you and they they don't have a clue what that's even about now yep alright thanks yeah man thank you and they very valid point i mean don i'm sure you can comment on this like you know you're around all of these parents like i'm i'm kind of new to the whole parenting thing again as far as being around parents with my girls at a new school and you know we did this whole uh meet and greet thing this past Friday i met a bunch of parents but you know i and i'm not going to bring these things up randomly to parents i don't know but i am curious to know like how many of them are aware and honestly sadly i it might actually not even fall on like who listens to this type of radio but what side of the political aisle you're on like if you're a republican you might be aware of this if you're a democrat you might be oblivious to it because you think it's just standard protocol yeah that could be the case i mean i'm not really sure as far as i've looked up the top there's a brand new poll just out mass ink and it's partnering with spotlight pa so 69 percent these are pennsylvania's brand new poll out it says jobs wages and the economy by far the number one issue with nearly 70 percent of pennsylvania's saying that's their number one issue the number two at 60 percent the future of democracy in america that's number two immigration policy at 57 percent is number a close number three okay and then gun policy 51 percent when you fall into the 49 percent category there is abortion mm-hmm yep so those are the the top ones climate change way doubt is down at 35 percent by the way issues of race of closer to the bottom 23 percent social security and medicare somewhere in between but the number one by far the number one issue nearly 70 percent jobs wages and the economy anything there with education or schools or anything of that you know that topic i don't think they asked necessarily okay which is weird that they put the future of democracy yeah in america and that kind of tells you the slant of the poll yeah so i'd love to see if that what they what is the wording of the question that's something we talk about all the time right but i don't see to your point um and they also have us supreme court 42 percent you can see this the slant of your poll by sure even their topics right i don't see educate isn't that weird education you would think yeah is up there yeah not i not even on here yeah sadly it might be a very very niche even though um i think franks on to something for sure eight five five eight three nine twelve ten this was something very under the radar but it's something that i think we have talked about um on this show specifically uh a ton and every time there's an update like the past that along this according to inside radio dot com the am radio bill cleared the house hurdle by a wide margin this occurred late last week where the house energy and commerce committee voted forty five to two wow in favor of em uh am rate it's called the am radio for every vehicle act and this is this is great news for those of us that do this for a living or it's our livelihood for all of you that consume it and you know for all of you out there that still rely on am radio when you know the s hits the uh fan so to speak and you look right now hurricane tropical storm whatever in uh florida right now like you know when your internet crashes when you've got no service you know on your horizon or at and t-phone what's there at the end of the day good old reliable am radio and i think we've kind of talked about it from both sides you know the safety aspect for those in disaster areas or rural america and then also what's the initiative and what's the goal about squelching free speech and hearing the other side of the political spectrum which is where talk radio really thrives and that's obviously on the am dial and you know you've seen over the years and nothing at like too deep into the weeds with the industry but you know whether when you look at the spoken word format and you talk about talk whether that's sports talk whether that's news traffic and weather like our sister station ky w which now has an fm signal as well i thought i want one uh and 1210 w p h t which gives you the political talk on the right hand side of the aisle you know we've seen this migration away from am into the like that member remember like back in the day when hd radio was first created still obviously a thing you can still listen to us on hd radio and then those talk stations migrated to fm and then you know while it's no longer about fm it's about apps and streaming and on demand and podcasts to me like i'm still one of those and i know we kind of make jokes here like i'm 40 going on 80 but there's still something i really enjoy about physically holding a story that i'm reading as opposed to reading it off my phone yes we know i know yes we know yeah the printer we've got nine million producers in through here because nobody can stand printing out your stupid stories are you guys somebody might try to assassinate me you know i'd like to hold my newspaper i don't have digital subscriptions i like the feel and and there's still something very cozy and comfortable to me about am radio my wife hates it she can't sit and listen to any talk am or fm by the way no my wife's the same way she's like if it's not music and it's a commercial she i mean she's literally that person i can't wait to tap the button to go to something else because she just can't tolerate it so this is a huge win i know ed marquee Ted Cruz a lot of bipartisan support for us just gonna say that you know what brings everybody together am radio both left and right 45 to 2 what have you ever seen you know that has that has garnered that much bipartisan support yeah nothing it's shocking to me actually but the truth is the the safety issue that am radio is crucial during any kind of a weather crisis when you think about farmers when you think about rural communities when everything goes out when your cell goes out when all the HD bloody blood stuff goes out yep you can still get am radio and get those emergency that's why we air those even though it's annoying we this is a message from the emergency broadcast system but truthfully yep sometimes am radio is all you've got to get that important information out save your life yes right and speaking of bipartisan support uh Earl buddy Carter republican from Georgia amongst the many supporters quote the removal of am radio and vehicles could be detrimental to the many rural districts across America on the other side frank polone uh democrat from new jersey for those of us who have experienced a natural disaster like superstorm sandy we know that am radio is a important lifeline while other forms of mass communication go out it's an important bill that i believe will keep americans safe quote when the power grid fails cell towers go silent and internet connectivity waivers am radio remains a steadfast lifeline to connect american connect americans to emergency communications you can actually read the full article on inside radio dot com it does go into the weeds a little bit about what are the specific details with manufacturers how many vehicles are made per manufacturer how many years they would try to tie this up or give you a pass and then they would expire look i look i'm not for government stepping in and uh making it a fair playing field you know that's not that's not government's job but i will say this that i i believe because you know i'm a i'm a capitalist and um i believe that the you know the marketplace decides if you are successful or not if you're not successful you go away all i want is an even playing field you know i mean because i do believe that uh this station and it's being proven true it can be successful and is successful uh and if people want it and crave it that much they'll find it you know what i mean like whether it's youtube whether it's the odyssey app whatever it is you know i just i just want to level playing field that's that's all i want i want to you know we have so many hands tied behind our back anyway you know it's not a fairfoot i just i just want to be on the same uh playing field as as as the fm uh sports stations and these stations and everything like that because i do think we can compete with the best of them well we're doing that on am as it is we're proving that we can yeah you know what i mean so it's just uh yeah i i just i don't i don't love i don't love government stepping in i'm i'm very libertarian with that um but i do i do think that we we we we deserve to be on a level playing field and let and by the way if we're if we're on a level playing field and the audience is like nope this is not for me then we'll go away yeah but so far that's not happening trust me when you when you're not producing in radio you go away oh yeah put fastened and heard gone zilch out you're and you're not alone with government interference and not wanting that uh republican rep john james from michigan stated uh that he is not on board with the big three automakers and he made a passionate argument against what he sees as government overreach into how private business operates keep in mind this is a republican who doesn't want the government to say am radio needs to be around he says over 98 percent of new cars today already come with am radio argued james who said it would take 30 years for most cars on the road to be without am receivers in the dashboard if they were phased out of every new vehicle today he says quote we are creating an unfunded unnecessary mandate for a problem that doesn't exist yep i don't understand that because i don't either bmw had said they phased them out they claim that it's uh electro magnetic electromagnetic interference or something right the battery whatever so some car makers like bmw had already released statements saying they've already phased it out they're not happy they don't have they're not offering am radio and their vehicle i'm gonna get on the phone with piazza today and see what's going on there hey beamer we got talk about this i just want you know to to kind of emphasize your point you know everybody has seen new stories uh on who may or may not be our boss here uh who owns this company but uh if we trust me especially this day and age if we weren't profitable and we weren't producing results you think they're keeping us around no hell no they're not it wouldn't have purchased us in the first place so that's why that's why i'm saying it's the the listeners the advertisers are so vitally important to what we do because as long as you're here and as long as the advertisers are here we'll be here forever yes so so you know whether we're here whether we're there i love all the people uh that are commenting that say hey you know i still listen to you on an old-time am radio i think i think that's great we just got numbers for august where you know we're we're we're over a quarter of a million listeners just on the odyssey app for them by the way guys another good month for the month of august i mean it is just i mean we're the we're the we're the second highest cubed yep station in philadelphia uh for the month of august i mean like it people will find us it's just we just need an even playing field that's all i'm saying i don't want government stepping in yep i just want the marketplace to be able to decide whether we're here whether we're not i'm gonna walk into that sales meeting at ten o'clock there my chest really puffed down here and by the way for all the people that said oh it's what you were alluding to and all the social media doom and gloom twelve tens in trouble uh here's the message for that can we stop getting our news from twitter because it's not true eight five five eight three nine five twelve ten profits profits uh trump ideology yep it's all i'm saying yep put up or shut up and that's the mantra in radio and we're putting up uh we got to put up with the cut sheet because that's on the other side but it's always good to put up with because there's all sorts of good audio gems where we kind of just riff and react on the fly what a stocker have lined up for a Tuesday you find out next we're we're really getting farther and farther away yes seven forty five will now be like an eight oh five future oh my god damn these clocks back after this it's a killing company on demand from talk radio twelve ten wphd and the free odyssey app time for the cut sheet talk for the cut sheet on this Tuesday sponsored by cherry hobo i enjoyed back to school savings on a 36 month lease on on a 2024 front wheel drive s 60 for 369 dollars per month down payment registration fee and taxes do an exception cherry hobo where relationships matter uh starting with cut five your fill so this i pulled from tick tock so you know take it with a grain of salt if you will but we are hearing a lot of reports about this so this woman uh claims that kamala Harris that kamala Harris campaign is paying non-citizen seven hundred dollars per week to attend rallies and protest and she heard about this from somebody in south philadelphia oh she this woman claims she's getting paid seven hundred dollars a week to go wherever kamala Harris's campaign tells them to go wow i guess we're gonna take better than radio producers so um yeah let's uh let's go to the tape let's go to the tape and here with this woman i'd say cut five field go so i just left my nail salon and my nail tech i've been going there for 15 years you pause this real quick yeah you pause this uh stalker wood did you agree don't don no i continue don just just just smack him jesus and she hates being on the show with us this this gal looks very trumpian it doesn't look like somebody that would work for trump in the campaign a blonde beautiful yeah the whole bet i gotta say i'm not the biggest fan of the like the white hair you know what i mean like like i like you know blonde hair i'm not like a lacy i have some but yeah yeah it's just like don't like yeah let it be a little natural there sweetie yeah yeah more like regs no i do not highlight my hair no no use natural uh i i'm gonna start cut five overfill one more time cut five uh go so i just left my nail salon and my nail tech i've been going there for 15 years so they're like family to me um but they said that their one cousin is in south filly and listen to this she is going to pay at seven hundred dollars a week to go to wherever kamala's campaign tells them to go to so it's a hundred dollars a day seven hundred dollars a week and she's not even a citizen she can't vote but she wants that extra money so that's why she's doing it so their campaign is getting a bunch of people that's why you see these people on the side of the roads with with signs or whatever going to these protests they get travel paid for and everything wow they're not even able to vote so they're just standing there with signs for no for reasons a hundred dollars a day yeah i can't i had to share with you guys thank you yeah well thank you for sharing uh yeah no idea if that's true or not although we had people that were brought to new york city that were illegal immigrants that were given five hundred dollar night hotel rooms well we have seen videos of of buses come i mean that doesn't necessarily mean they're busting from and i've i've refrained from commenting on that on social media because i don't know the context of the buses but ultimately my whole thing when it comes to rallies has been it's just not an indicator for election success so whether trump gets a hundred thousand or if 13 people show up to see kamala it's i feel like it's a social media dunk on the opposition moment that i don't know that necessarily resonates in elections uh but it what what it would it surprise me that they're paying people no you know what kamala harris is she's the social media candidate is what she is she she she doesn't really exist in real life she's just kind of like this this social media internet phenomenon where it's like hey if like hillary said if you want to know about her policies they're on the website she won't talk about them in person but you could go to her website to get them and she'll always be in a controlled environment it's just it's a very um artificial campaign but i wouldn't rule it out no way to verify one way or the other at least in my view but would i be surprised no i would not because i i don't think other than white liberal women i don't think kamala has a major fan base and the and the white liberal women like her because they hate trump and that's where it stems from uh Stephanie rule was on with uh from MSNBC was on with uh the mar over the weekend and to your point Nick about how everybody's making excuses about how she doesn't have to do interviews and she has policies and something she basically said that um we don't need a uh substantive uh a substantiated answer from kamala Harris because we know who trump is so again not about her no we said this yesterday it's not about her it's against him uh cut one if he'll go sir no and let's say you don't like her answer are you going to vote for Donald trump no i'm not i just said i'm not gonna vote for her it's not running for perfect she's running against trump we have two choices and so there are some things you might not know her answer to and in 2024 unlike 2016 for a lot of the american people we know exactly what trump will do who he is and the kind of threat he is to democracy i don't know if you don't know her answer to anything okay and i think i i think everything and that's why i would never vote for him and people shouldn't vote for him but people also expected to have some idea of what the program is of the person you're supposed to vote for you're just not supposed to say well you have to vote for why because x is this that and the other let's find out a little bit more and i don't think it's a lot to ask her to sit down for a real interview as opposed to a talk piece in which she describes like her feelings of growing up and open with nice rights then i would just say to that when you move to nirvana give me your real estate brokers number and i'll be an attorney we don't live there so a couple of things uh i'm i'm completely over debates and i'm over interviews i don't want kamala Harris doing a sit down interview that's taped edited trimmed down possibly given what i want is a press conference i want her to roll up to a podium in front of a hot mic with the deuce man jackie hyenrich media whether it's left wing right wing i i don't care where i don't care who's got a credential and i want her to sit up there for 60 to 90 minutes and just point uh you you bob from the the detroit free press go ahead bob what do you got for me let her do what we do on talk radio you can call in i have no idea what you're going to talk about half the time what's on my screen is rolling anyway so at the house the difference and she could not be in a setting where she gets peppered with fastballs she would melt like a snow cone in phoenix um i don't know where i found the snow cone in phoenix number but by the way i mean she's basically she's saying the quiet part out loud yes that it's not about like she doesn't have to say anything she doesn't have to do anything it's it's it's all against him it's the pivot of strategy after in 2016 they tried to like you know hillary remember when hillary was ranting and raving last week on her book tour about oh i had policy for days i talked about power they lost on policy so four years later when they're hiding joe in the basement and eight years later when they're trotting out his failed sidekick it's a total strategy it's a different strategy it's not about what we can offer or what our policy is it's about painting him is the boogeyman and that's that's their belief that they can win on that uh by streaming live on youtube youtube dot com slash at twelve ten w p h d everybody watching right now please hit the like button please hit the like button the thumbs up button it's free hit the thumbs up button right now i see you hit the thumbs up button also hit the subscribe button if you have not done so yeah here's a montage put together of all the kamal Harris allies including the one we just play with Stephanie rule defending the lack of press conference and interviews we played a lot of these but you can hear really the the depth of everything in this little montage your cut nine fogo both the vice president and governor wallace they have shown that they are happy warriors they are able to answer tough questions and they are eagles eager to get back into the debate he does not have to do it kara i'm going to just cut to the chase in fact she's put out policies on her campaign website anybody who's truly interested can go and read about them she's done interviews and i know that we would love or you would love to see her sit down every single day with CNN and do interviews but it's that she's a very busy person busy i'm not gonna vote for her she's running against trump we have two choices and so there are some things you might not know her answer to there you go well how about that by the way as soon as you hear Hillary open up her mouth everybody's kind of gasps right like it's out here we go with this lady again like just just just just just get out of the news cycle already but she's like if you're really interested the condescending nature and tone of well if you if you really care about something as trivial as policy it's on the website go get it for yourself like what if you're really if you really care about your interest rate for the mortgage you're trying to guy you're trying to buy it's on the website sir go go look it up no it's kind of a pivotal deciding factor as to what i'm going to do here before i make a decision but like all of sudden policies optional but they're all defending these are all the surrogates defending the fact that this is an individual who without much of a process was basically crowned that that's what this was it was a like a dictator that they're going to crown this individual you're running for president ta da yeah and not holding any any semblance of an actual traditional news conference where reported where it's live where news where news people or journalists citizens can ask you questions openly and it's not scripted yes so we have the ones that were on tape that were edited but that's not enough and the fact that these people who are self-proclaimed journalists they're not journalists would defend that and say when those are the same people that if it's a republican who hasn't held a news conference in what sixty six days since announcing all they be all there be held to pay done you just made maybe the the point of the week on the show you talked about how kamala harris was just elevated and anointed that's what they're accusing trump of potentially doing if he wins again where there will never be another election trump will just pass the baton off to a family member and they'll rule they'll reside and rule over the entire world for the next seventy years everything that they accuse trump of doing weaponize government threat to democracy they themselves commit like again keep in mind at this moment in time i guess maybe that's not true anymore because early voting is underway kamala harris has never received a vote for anything ever on the national political stage and she just gets and and you heard trump at his rally in north carolina on saturday he goes i'm no fan of jose but he did get 95 percent in 14 million votes and they just kicked him to the curb for kamala yeah and then when when somebody does open themselves up to questions like jd vance at every rally takes questions even though that all they ask about is what about north carolina what about the lieutenant governor a question after question after question and so the media just if you if you want to call the system rigged look at the media which is supposed to be independent which is written into our constitution right that we have these fact checkers that are supposed to create this level of balance and information that's i in my humble opinion i mean i know it's my wheelhouse and my background as far as news reporting but i i feel like that's a threat to democracy that we don't talk about enough the by incredible bias in the media that is allegedly they call themselves journalists and mainstream we know they're not msnbc you yep msnbc you talk about the power of the press and the media and you know a lot of people don't consume the media the way they used to but they're still powerful and this this illustrates it perfectly according to msnbc in january kamala harris' approval rating was 28 percent at the beginning of the summer it was 32 percent today it is almost nearly 50 percent so ask yourself what has changed it's the media that's carrying her to the finish line uh trump was in western pennsylvania yesterday uh he stopped by a grocery store you guys see this he stopped by a grocery store uh there's their quick clips uh phil if you want to run cut 11 where he says that he uh he there's a big uh display of uts potato chips yeah pop cordon and he grabs one of the uts bags of pop corn uh this is cut 11 phil go oh look i gotta get salmon look at all the big bag yeah the big bag yeah my mom just got a bag of that actually fell yeah she says it's the best she says it's the best she says it's the best i'll be sending i'll be in washington dc hopefully in the oval office i'll send for popcorn i have three no Doritos there no stage photo ops with dougie and uh kamala at the convenience store by the way the bag popcorn pre-made super underrated oh dude i'm phenomenal i'm gonna say something that that everybody's gonna roll their eyes at popcorn the best snack uh hard to disagree yeah i can't i can't argue that i would actually say this my popcorn power rankings um the bagged one like trump grabbed yep along with obviously movie theater popcorn or anytime you can get the popcorn out of that machine the worst popcorn is the one you put in the microwave with a little flat bags agreed agreed oh i'm i'm also going to say something uh um can i say femme is that i'm i allowed to say that you got turned around you guys you guys gone that's uh uh the the the i don't like really really salty or buttery popcorn like i like i just like the taste of just a little salt so like this you like kettle corn the snow it's too sweet the skinny pop see see i'm giving up my man car you're a skinny pop go oh yeah oh black pepper and salt black pepper oh yeah i love the black pepper it's great right so good you ever put garlic powder on popcorn no no i like butter and salt i want all of it kill me let's go donin in in another life you and i would have been good together i know it's true but we are good together uh he also gave trump also gave a uh a woman a hundred dollars for groceries a woman of three uh a mother of three uh cut 12 fill go here he's gonna go down a little bit just went down a hundred bucks we'll do that for you for the white house all right thank you all right nice seeing you everybody beautiful thank you he just he just walks into a grocery store perfecto he walks into a grocery store and and hands some woman a hundred bucks i see that's the unstaged unscripted stuff that makes trump trump that kamala can't do like it's just and it that's not awkward that's just him being himself you know whether it's a it's a photo op i get the politics behind it but the delivery is just natural whereas everything else seems contrived in force with everybody else like the santis by the way we got to play that the santis clip again that i played in the big take and i need jim jim kelly i need you to isolate the santis saying the word duty can you play that again because you're right dude did you notice that when he was when he was playing that or when he was saying that all i could think about is first of all the mustard thing just ruins it just ruins him yeah mustard but he the way he speaks is just so cringe yeah and like i'm not talking about the way he governs because i know a lot of people you know like right but i'm just talking about the way he speaks but no wonder like he couldn't go in and buy a bag of popcorn and do what trump just did there's zero chance he could do that and that's why he's not the nominee to some extent today phil can phil can you play that if you have it handy i don't know if you had it if you do he says dude there's no they're not being cooperative yes i am concerned i mean for example we were rebuffed our investigators were rebuffed just going to the fence line outside of trump international golf club in west pom beach and so i think they've taken the position you know they don't want the state of florida to be involved in this but here's the thing there were multiple violations of florida law across multiple jurisdictions we think at least three judicial circuits this guy ryan ralph committed potential violations of florida law so we have a duty uh to investigate this we have a duty to bring uh the appropriate charges and we also have a duty uh to inform them now i do know about how this stuff now imagine desantis with a dog hey buddy boy you gotta go and take a duty honey the baby took a duty in her diaper oh god like i'm trying to be serious during the big take and i'm hearing descent to say duty and i'm just so dying with crack i've i've corrupted uk i'm sorry man i'm sorry i was just i was corrupted long before i got here all right that makes me that's my family it makes me feel better okay uh but yes we need we need that isolated jim kelly get to work on that please duty um donald trump had a press conference i guess it was in western pa where he talked about uh the john deere moving their business to mexico and what he's going to do if that happens uh this is cut eight filled go i just noticed behind me john deere tractors i know a lot about john deere i love the company but as you know they've announced uh a few days ago that they're going to move a lot of their manufacturing business to mexico i'm just uh notifying john deere right now if you do that we're putting a two hundred percent tariff on everything that you want to sell into the united states so that if i win john deere is going to be paying a two hundred percent they haven't started it yet maybe they haven't even made the final decision yet but i think they have john deere is going to and anybody else that does this because it's hurting our farmers it's hurting our manufacturing and if you do that you're going to have a two hundred percent tariff put on the product that you make in mexico right across the border they think they're going to make product cheaper in mexico and then sell it in for the same price as they did before make a lot of money by getting rid of our labor and our jobs and and really a great name because john deere is a great name i buy a lot of john deere tremendous i'm one of their big customers i buy a lot of john deere product as a private person but if they're going to do that we're going to put a two hundred percent tariff on everything that they want to send back into the united states which means one of two things our country is going to make a lot of money or they're not going to build they're not going to open and or they're going to sell it to another country they're entitled to do that if they want to build in the country and the united states there's no tariff you can go ahead and you can build in any one of the fifty states you can go ahead but if they don't want to do that we're going to put a two hundred percent tariff on john deere and you know it's going to happen they're going to announce very shortly if they think i'm going to win or if i do win they're going to announce that they're not going to build in mexico they're going to have to pay a tremendous tariff which means two things they're not going to build a plant if it's not too late they're not going to build a plant this country's going to make a lot of money or they're going to build the plant but they're going to build it in the united states somewhere and ideally a place like michigan or south carolina where we have a lot of a lot of auto business but we're not going to let that happen but john deere has got to understand that if they build in mexico they start closing plants in this case it was in iowa they're going to close there a big plant and a couple of them and that's just the beginning the problem is that's just the beginning then all of a sudden you'll hear in a year from now they're going to do another one another one all of a sudden they're not going to be in the country anymore and they're going to have to pay a very big price to be able to sell that product so how long before Kamala harris and tim wall's copycat trump on tariffs especially with like companies like john deere i gotta say something guys tariffs are not the solution here it's not he does love the terror it's going to that yeah they're he can slap but tariff on them and they'll pay the government but that cost is just going to be put back on the consumer well john john deere is not going to take a loss they're going to say okay you want to slap us with a 200 true tariff we're going to we're going to increase our writing mowers by x amount of dollars but i i my question is and i have to look into this that actually the time that we were at the white housecrag was when they worked on the united states mexico canada agreement us mca and i thought that us mca included the fact that if you if you had production in canada or mexico you would have a lower cost so how does that play into this i mean obviously he's trying to pressure john deere but yeah to my understanding i thought they already had those layoffs like a hundred six hundred plus people laid off and i guess there's another wave yeah so how does he incentivize these companies to stay here yeah but i believe that i would i'll have to look into what that means with the us mexico canada agreement and how that plays into this john deere was also in the news about a month ago where they they've been uh axed all their dei initiatives uh in light of a couple of boycotts so trump purchases john deere stuff obviously from uh you know a construction standpoint or maybe even maintaining his golf properties and don stencilans been known to drive a john deere around cutting her graph do you have a john deere i don't have a john deere i don't i did one of those little ones we sit in it in the little yellow in the green one he's out there going in reverse mowing regard i did have it for years i had a john deere i have other john deere equipment not for riding a mower um there's so the town the small town in pennsylvania it's like 21 miles i think south of pittsburgh charlborough right pennsylvania is in the news a lot lately because they are experiencing and i'm bringing this home because of what we discussed for the last week and a half two weeks or whatever that is happening at spring field ohio was being looked by their eating our dogs and cats is the fact that there is this influx of Haitian migrants that are uh coming into this town um apparently that's also happening in this town of charlborough right pennsylvania with um and nobody really knows where they came from how they got there they're being bust around according to this uh little report here uh if you could play oh wait i guess i have to play this this is cut seven phil uh this is cut seven you have to watch this video where you can see a lot of these uh you know the residents that are upset and you could also see like in the middle of the night like these these buses just come and yep vans pick up these people take them to jobs yep nobody knows where they're coming from this is cut seven uh phil go america doesn't need this place doesn't care about this place it's just uh it's a place that time forgot this used to be this a nice blue collar middle and nowhere it's out can i stop it for a second there god there's a lot of similarities on and there's a lot of similarities here between this town and the town we grew up in but uh the the there's a lot of similarities here to these these towns springfield, ohio being one of them too as you know they used to be thriving blue collar towns yes these rural rust belts the jobs kind of left yep so did the population so i what what it seems to me is that the government the elected officials there don't want their population to decrease so they're bringing in people whoa we've to do the jobs that that that the residents won't do there right i mean the people that are still in these towns are the lifers the ones that feel like they've been left behind trump has talked about nobody being left behind and we've heard as far as population and replenishing districts we heard the lady from new york we've played it many times on the show i forget what her name is but she's saying from a redistricting purpose she needs more people right so this is this is all by design yes yes um all right we keep going in the early 80s the steel industry started to collapse the place became less useful for people the population left in droves there's been immigrants coming in uh you know slowly over the past 20 or 20 years or so it has never been an issue yeah it's it's it's never been an issue at all and now and now it really has become one or the past two or three years it's just been a huge flood yeah and and almost all Asian now that these core businesses are gone the excuse for bringing them in here was is what we can't get anybody to do these jobs which i was was suspicious of i always suspected somebody wanted some cheap like having vans picking up to go to wherever they are going to and then returning at all hours of the night do you have any idea where they're coming from now it's all coordinated no way around it not being coordinated at this point if i'm in Haiti and i live there and somebody spreads out a map of the united states of america in front of me the odds of me landing on charlory pennsylvania is zero so whoever is responsible for putting them here that is an act of negligence and there's another one coming here so there you go this looks like a documentary that's coming out um soon i'm not sure if you get out but yeah if you point that out well hey there's no home here you're racist you're this that the other thing so my counter to that is especially when you talk about them being brought in in the middle of the night whether it's on planes or then via vans and buses if what you are doing is so righteous and humane why are you doing it in such a shady way because i've always thought if you're doing something perfectly legit on the up and up you do it in broad daylight you do it here you do it there you do whatever because you're you're on the right side of whatever right you're on the you're on the side of good but if the biden administration and democrats that are trying to repopulate their districts and get cheap labor to boot are doing this in the middle of the night where they're flying planes the logan international in boston and other big cities and then from there they get on buses and they get on minivans uh not minivans uh these little shuttle type vans why is it done in such a clandestine fashion yeah yeah i don't think you have to be brilliant to figure that out yeah it's it's interesting it's interesting to see and i'm glad that i'm glad that towns like this are are being put in the spotlight um for these issues because you're right it it is a town that that in in non-election year nobody would give a crap about right you know you mean and you also have to wonder how this impacts those swing states i mean this is happening would you say 20 miles south of pittsburgh yep yeah yeah so but one of the issues as you read about about charlara is that it's all about the economy so they had a lot of jobs to fill yeah and the complaint by by residents there is that companies don't want to pay the full price so it goes to unions yeah you talked about your what what is the inflatable rat outside you know the allegation by unions and so that's what the people of charlara many of them smelling a rat and saying you know what there there are many folks coming in here who are immigrants who are great people there are others who are just taking our jobs yeah because they're willing to take a lower wage so that goes to the heart of union workers or just americans who want a fair wage yeah and think about how they the media and the democrats spin this then trump says we're gonna if elected i will you know implement the largest deportation effort in american history and that automatically gets labeled as hateful anti-immigrant racist when all it is is wanting to have the americans be taken care of first which should be like like your obligation as the president make it about your country and your residents and your citizens and your voters first and then everybody else and secondly it's not anti-immigrant it's just go about it the right way yeah yeah and we saw this you know for example even in ohio and here in pennsylvania the question is during tough times and these are you know economically with interest rates as high as they are some people buying their groceries on a credit card which is at a twenty five to thirty percent interest rate and so people looking around saying wait a minute you know we have people from from other countries who are being and granted you know the situation is in haiti and other communist you know regimes and other countries um did these people do we want to bring in folks is that something we as america as american stand for yes we do but during tough times i think a lot of americans are saying hey what about me you know i can't get the benefits i can't get you know i've heard here in philadelphia the the title eight the some of the housing or some of the benefits and they feel like wait a minute how come somebody from another country granted they're in a horrible situation and they're even brought here under a legal status but how come yeah how come they're being put before me as an american i'm the one suffering i can't get the help and they're getting gift cards and all these benefits and medical benefits how is that fair hmm yeah i really agree um this is uh cut for here phil these are uh black undecided voters in georgia uh this poll i believe was conducted by the daily mail um james johnson asking about the economy and all that stuff under uh trump versus under uh biden harris cut four phil go hand up if you think it's one of those that are on control and hands up if you think the economy is better on the biden harris why okay it's seven one that's pretty pretty clear is it true i'm not saying he's like of course yeah like i do say he has best he still has a business mindset i think that link didn't somewhat i think yes the trickle down of whatever previous stuff and i think he just handled certain things a little better but who you do does trump come well you provide more jobs um more opportunities similar um even though he didn't have been experiencing poverty but he came in and did a much better job and if you look at their artistic mail so they're far more awards now didn't work before firstly i just wanted to general question about harris doing an illustration clips to the debate what's your biggest hesitation about voting to come with harris just is she going to be able to do the things that she says she's going to be able to do that's you know what i mean she's is she going to be able to do it that's my big devastation is she going to be able to get it passed come accuracy you know what i'm saying i don't know any now look how about you everything that glitters and goes very it looks great on paper but i'm not sure if it could translate to politics and if she'll even be able to get it passed hey what my thing is here's her strength and that's my focus for her you know and she's going to be able to take a point and give one or two facts and i i that's my biggest thing and it has nothing to do with her gender gender ladies okay but you have did you we talking about the highest office in their hands yeah remember the shell obama i would you think that's only there's yeah yeah yeah yeah you can't be you can't be weak and hold that oh yeah like people are next to Michelle Obama it's like or Hillary Clinton or Hillary Clinton it's like there's no comparison on the strength that i think Michelle Obama is who couldn't wear up against her did what they will eat her how did Harris come across then how did she do up against him uh Hayward says that you know big personality how did she do how did she come across she kept saying that she's a warrior she's gonna fight but i don't know if you're strong as finally i give it what you feel but i don't think you you are as like a warrior like fire like she says she is that's just my opinion not that i don't think she doesn't care and yeah so just a couple of takeaways from uh some of the highlights there i like the fact that she the lady in the middle top uh to the third to the right um said that Trump runs the con ran the country like a businessman i think you've started to see a lot more people that when you talk about Trump from an economic standpoint ran the country like a business as opposed to a politician also i think they're very accurate when they say um even though i think Kamala did better at the debate than their most people have uh i've kind of been on the the minority uh end of the spectrum one on the performance she is a lightweight compared to Hillary and Michelle like you know we know Hillary lost i believe if Michelle was going to run she would win but you put Kamala Michelle in Hillary with three podiums you can quickly spot out that Kamala would be the lightweight but my question is because seven of those individuals there black male and female voters in Georgia chose Trump and there was one guy that so chose Kamala for the economy but does that mean you're going to vote for him it's my question it's a great question because i think most people even though the polls now starting to show that you know especially in Pennsylvania Kamala is gaining confidence and traction with voters on the economy which as i said yesterday i i don't believe that that's got to be a statistical polling outlier because i don't know how anybody can arrive at that conclusion but are you going to pull the trigger on Trump you can tell me until the cows come home that you know he's better on the economy and by the way too this is not known versus unknown this is known versus known Kamala's known we know where she stands on the issues we've got five years of tape regardless of whether that she wants to talk about it we have the tape and she's been the number two for the last three and a half years so she's complicit in this last administration apparently Doug Amhoff was on one of the morning shows yesterday saying that she did really control policy she was vice president she's taking a pull out of the Hubert Humphrey playbook from 1968 where he was basically like this is a cut well no i'm just vice president i don't i don't decide anything okay i go to ribbon cuttings i don't know what you i don't know what you're talking about okay uh harry end on cnn broke down the new york time seana pole that we talked about yesterday nikton um and and really highlighted the fact that uh Kamala Harris losing support from latino and black voters in at least arizona georgia and north carolina uh this is cut ten phil go how about this i think this is really interesting all right choice for president arizona georgia north carolina all right haspanic voters four years ago joe biden won that vote 66 percent in the sunbelt look at where we are now kamala harris at just 52 percent so kamala harris struggling among hispanic voters donald trump doing considerably better than he did four years ago how about black voters kamala harris again leading here by a significant margin right she's getting 83 percent of that vote but that is significantly short of joe biden's 92 percent so the bottom line is in the sunbelt which is much more diverse than the northern battleground states up in the great lakes kamala harris is struggling among voters of color jake and and so let's just take that number a nine percent drop and a plot now of just because nine percent are there doesn't mean that nine percent automatically go to trump but if they do and if my forecast the heck with harry end i do i do deep dive quantitative research okay there you go i mean if i thought if my if my 17 18 percent support for trump from the black community is accurate oh you throw in six percent of that nine percent that's gone now we're at 22 23 percent Greg's docker oh could be the difference could be the difference could be the deciding factor as harry end would say oh my goodness gracious look at this data yep by the way is he not the biggest he makes cornaki look like a stud i mean all of these data guys are yeah i like it no i like playing this he's got some good uh it's got some good stuff they do um the big match up between alabama and georgia is this weekend right that's right tuscaloosa that's right buddy um and uh the alabama coach or calon calon debore uh was asked about former president trump attending this weekend's game because that's really imperative to his his preparation to be georgia and uh this is what he had to say cut six fell go yeah with uh former president trump said to be at this game or plan to be at this game what are your thoughts on that and just the impact or what it speaks to about the impact of this game yeah i'm sure there's gonna be a lot of uh celebrity type people here um people that want to come be a part of uh you know what's what's happening on uh on game day it's gonna be uh um you know everyone's watching and so uh you know um be great to have have everyone who wants to come watch be here and uh um you know for us i told the guys this with game day and everything uh coming here as well uh for for the guys to try to take as much off of their plate uh other than maybe a few extra interviews uh towards the end of the week uh you know just the main thing is that they get prepared to play the best football game that they've played this year or you know i always challenge them to play the best football game they've ever played in their career and so uh that's what matters uh when it comes down to what we can control and uh but yeah it is kind of cool that uh we have a lot of people who want to come be a part of the atmosphere and and uh add to the excitement energy that the game will bring so trump actually attended the georgia alabama game six years ago when he was in office it was a pretty cool moment uh pretty certainly a deafening reaction when they were playing in atlanta in the old georgia dome i love how he says celebrity types that want to come and then at the end he says people that want to uh you know come for the the big he didn't even say trump by name but that's you could tell that and that's a sports question that's being asked from a sports reporter you just know that that guy was looking for some sort of sound bite right yeah and that coach calen de borke gave him nothing like that that was that was a political non-answer right there by the way what's the uh what's the line for this weekend neck georgia is a two-point favorite interesting yeah it's a 745 kickoff saturday night i'll be gassed by one they're my own tailgate party my living room uh that fill i have this uh clip here uh so camo harris is not attending the al smith dinner uh yeah and the al smith dinner just to to explain it yep is known as a situation where candidates were run against each other so it was famous with trump and hillary back in the day i remember that one line i dropped with the pardon yes we said pardon me so it's famous for for candidates and you know the media to come together have a laugh and and have a lighter moment to show you know american unity and how laughter basically this is perfect for her right so she does she she's not attending this is the first time a presidential uh candidate has not attended since 1984 there was that year again i tell you it's a lot of 1984 i see there's shulcher no john ferris is written in the book walther mandale turned down the uh the invitation in 1984 uh cornel dolan responded to this uh this is what he said about that we're disappointed we were looking forward to giving uh the vice president and enthusiastic welcome and we kind of we were confident that she would find this you know she speaks very much about the high ideals and how it's good to get away from division and come together in unity and all of that's what the el smith dinner is all about we haven't given up yet we're not used to this we don't know how to handle it this hasn't happened in 40 years since walther mandale turned down uh the invitation and remember he lost 49 out of 50 states i don't want us to but so we're not used to this uh and we're not giving up you know who's been a help to us laurin is the senator shumer and governor hokel if they're both they both are working hard to see that they convince her to come so there's still a chance yeah senator shumer said to me i he's i don't think he made the decision i think her schedule is an hospital say she can't make it so we're not giving up we hope she we hope she's there oh she's busy she's the vep and she's running for office she she has air force too can't can't they like if she's in i don't know let's just say cleveland ohio can't she make the flight back yeah in like 12 minutes they would literally if she asked them to they would close down yeah the flight path yeah and i went back and i watched that clip of trump where he uh you know you dropped the one liner of the pardon joke and even hillary clinton in that moment laugh yeah this is a light like don't say the light-hearted you make jokes self-deprecating but you know what it tells me either she is not confident enough to ad lib or her handlers won't let her out for that what's interesting to me is that this it's a memorial uh foundation dinner it's a catholic nonprofit that raises millions of dollars for vulnerable women and children in new york specifically but the question is you know why why wouldn't she go to this yeah it raises money it's for a very good cause by the way it's still going to happen october 17th it's sold out so what do they do here will they have trump well they will because he's invited so will he still go and then who else will be invited mhm i'm telling you i i really think it's they don't want her exposed in any of these uncontrolled settings do you think that's what it is i i can't think of any other reason why she wouldn't go to this has that has to be it that's why she's only done oprah she's done danabash and she's done the abc news that's why she's never done she is still yet to do a press conference but even uh i hear what you're saying Nick but even that this is not a press conference like no she's just there you know what i mean like she gives a speech she dicks you know she can take a little dig a trump trump will take a little dig at her and all in the all in you know good spirit everybody leaves happy i just don't understand why she wouldn't a lot of people leave the more she opens her mouth the more her numbers go down a couple of things first of all you know she's she's not good in these live yeah experiences she's not good she's uncomfortable she's awkward she can't help her so she does that cackle laugh that she has that i think is a nervous laugh and so she is not good in this kind of a venue but i will also say this she's saying that trump is a danger to democracy in project 2025 which is a lie it's a total lie i don't know how it's so frustrating to me that they keep they're allowed to put commercials on that are just 100 a lie so the fact that she is claiming all of this that he's a danger to democracy then how does she with a straight face go out on a campaign trail when she just the night before went to this dinner with 900 people in the audience all dressed up and gossied up and they're all laughing together and unified i think that she doesn't want to give him any legitimacy you know i i'm going to bring up a story when i was doing sports in nashville with a guy um i did a three man morning show with a former football player former tennessee titan and another radio guy and he could not stop talking on the air in a three person format like he was just a bladder mouth anybody was good at it and then when we would go to commercial he would just keep talking non-stop and it was like one of these things where eventually i was like dude we just went like 27 straight minutes like can i just like refresh here for a moment let me tell off and he told me that his anxiety he in in a social setting he hates silence when he's around other people like it drives him insane so he has to create conversation interesting i i think with kamala there's this un this this anxiety this i don't want to call it lack of comment because she's been she's been a public figure her whole life right like she was a prosecutor in courtrooms but like i i don't think she's good in the unscripted like if you're telling me she's got to give an opening statement as a prosecutor or cross-examine a uh defendant on trial or even in a debate setting even though she's not great but like when she doesn't have an agenda to go off of and it's just hey you do you you be you be a social butterfly i don't think she can do that and i i think that's why you will not see her in these settings like even with the cooking stuff that we saw remember when she was doing with the cooking with the different lines and the the nervous laugh was there as well it's true like i'm not trying to stereotype but you would think that like a woman would be comfortable in the kitchen right she looked like a fish out of water not trying to stereotype but you know but you're broads but you know you check son don't forget the kitchen will you i love the kitchen i i know my way around the kitchen like a champ i don't know i don't refrigerator i don't know if she is i don't to be honest not all but look it's the only he's you know i mean yeah he claims men are actually better chefs than women are so which in some regard yeah i agree but i don't think that that's her thing i don't i think that as a uh i think that she you know grew up with it mostly because the parents divorced and single mom who was working in a professor high level professor they traveled i don't get the sense that she's somebody who's ever ever spent a lot of time so i'm being seer and i'm being serious here it will in the kitchen right cooking so you know it's your point about that but the other point is i i think that she is not comfortable in these settings because of and think about what you just showed with the with trump walking into a grocery store you know when he grabs those hers potato chips he wants to eat he's lost weight and which is amazing malani is not looking he would love to chomp down that bag and let's be real and let's be real about this when's the last time trump went grocery shopping for himself yeah probably never never yeah and he still looks more natural doing it then because then the the other tom thicken harry's out there because he would really love that and so there's an often you can't fake it there's some things in life you can't i think for her because of maybe her background or how you know she you know she grew up uh whatever that is whatever that looks like i think she's not comfortable in being herself well you know what it is she's so manufactured here i'm gonna give you a bipartisan she's the same as desantis desantis is off remember when desantis was at the bar and he was bartending and slinging beers with his little tight jeans and his boots on that did not look natural at all yeah Kamala Harrison ron desantis have a people problem they don't have people skills yeah and that's a big part of the bet trump trump has people skills to the umpteenth degree i mean going into that grocery store yesterday and just hand in that woman a hundred dollars to paper groceries you can't make that up you can and and it is just like in a moment that's the type of stuff he should honestly just do just go grocery stores honestly yeah i'm i'm being dead serious here at 846 in the morning like just just go go all around pennsylvania to every grocery store every swing state every yeah every swing state and just and just make people just talk to people no i don't mean that i mean just talk to people yeah like hey hey look at the price of this hey look at that that would go that would be so impact i know it would be so impact it really would it really would maybe he should open up his own grocery store chain he actually walks in hands out hundreds of people yeah you're right you go go show up at the at the all the in in montgomery county yes yeah yeah go to go to the dollar general in uh in uh willa grove there and uh you know i'm i'm serious yeah that is such a great that is such a great moment that is way more impactful than than rallies or fundraisers or any of that stuff you're actually physically talking to people yep who are who are like jesus what is the cost of this oh my god you know what i mean you're right i think part of this though is that kamala harris her she and her campaign are specifically avoiding avoiding going to places where somebody's going to shout out a question yeah because she is so manufactured and she knows that what she really believes and we know what she believes because she not so long ago ran for president her own party did not pick her because she's so far left and so far progressive now she's claiming that her policies are more in the middle but they're not and so that's why she doesn't want to answer any question from anybody or have to reveal what she really believes in she's an installed puppet reading from a script that's all it is yep i mean she's run burgundy yep all right we're way over yeah oh we didn't start we didn't get started until 50 so yeah we are all right we'll come back i'll breathe into the microphone for seven seconds we'll take another break and then we'll get back on track dawn's big three to kick off the nine o'clock hour and freak offs and no ditty just the facts man just the facts and we'll give that to you on the other side what else we got no i said can't wait oh okay i thought i thought you were teeing up on for a read okay okay i'm doing that don't take it away yeah because we got to talk about the first full week of fall thinking about leaves changing maybe a fall road trip everybody's back on the roads right that fandoor.com gamut problem or one hundred gamut are let me grab a call in the meantime we've got steve who's in mauve or steve your own talk radio 1210 thank you jake and michael sure hey um i i'll listen to you don't talk about how uncomfortable kamala is when she's not scripted and everything like that nervous laughter with a grin and all that and now i think the um uh some campaigns miss an opportunity to put that into a commercial and say how how will this play out in a face-to-face unscripted uh a confrontation or meeting with without like Vladimir Putin or g or some Arab potentate or something like that uh you know this is going to uh back them down this is going to get them to uh total line i don't think so it's a valid point and actually a really good point could you imagine steve what it would be like behind closed doors with kamala harris and a few of her most closest confidants you know her whatever her cabinet would hypothetically look like and could you imagine those conversations in person between some of these these true global dictators and how they would be feeling like they're dealing in a position or from a position of power it would be incredible but i gotta tell you you talk about the ads and there are certainly i think the trump campaign the ads that they've been pretty good but i think whether you're democrat or republican and this happens every election cycle whether it's midterms or for general elections by the time september 24th comes aren't we all sick of political ads oh 100 so like i you know i see them and i just roll my eyes or i get up and you know if it's like a football saturday or sunday i go up and get another something to drink or whatever go after the kitchen go to the bathroom i just don't want to hear them and i and like i i mean they're profit i mean our station profits off of them so like they're they're they're super important but i just don't want to hear them anymore because i already know all the talking points and i know my wife doesn't want to hear them at all ever so i i don't know if the the trump ad or even the harris ad at this point really matters that much i think what you just mentioned with the grocery store which is far more impactful than any ad they can come up with the problem with this and and we see it in this state in this city all the time because we're such you know we are the most important state you know in in the election um is that there's so many of them that i think you know you almost risk turning people off you know what i mean with so many ads even if like you support candidate x or candidate y you're like okay enough yeah i just don't want to hear this anymore and people just get so sick and tired of it yep that you almost wonder if like sometimes these political ads do more harm than good or you just have to have maybe that moment where you have to maybe recalibrate and then you know reallocate your assets i mean we saw harris now i believe has a half a billion advantage financially in campaign money built up for whatever they decide to use it on commercials or whatever so if you're operating you know at a five to one deficit you know i would take some of that money and i would do a grocery store tour we could or you know we should when we're done at ten o'clock we should workshop that and we'll send over a PowerPoint to the trump campaign let's go and and not just rural grocery stores go into the city go into the city of philadelphia yep north carolina go into the city of charlotte yep georgia go into the city of atlanta and just do a urban grocery store tour yep you want to win some votes over that way agreed there you go agreed eight five five eight nine twelve ten you're hitting people where matters yes because we we're not feeling it anymore than we are at the grocery store because most of us grocery shopping at least once a week or if you're you're dawning her kids they go grocery shopping every three days because our boys are eating her out of the house unbelievable true we'll get to the big three here in one second let me grab this last call bills in montgomery county bill your own talk radio twelve ten yeah yeah hey nik don and greg yeah i'm just kind of wondering um we have not seen any of these pro-Palestinian protests you know since uh the summer and remember that was the big rage you know before the summer and you know whether on college campuses you're on the streets and now there's nothing going on and uh this is almost sound this almost sounds like a conspiracy theory but it's almost like they've been told to cool it you know they're not embarrassed kamala that it would really you know help her out if things could stay quiet it's interesting yeah interesting point in observation i i partially agree with that we're not seeing them at least not reported on college campuses so i don't know if the universities have really clamped down on that but there was just a big one over the weekend where there was a guy walking around trying to imitate trump much less like not even remotely as good as shawn ferris does and he was like antagonizing these pro-palestinian protesters i forget which city it was in but you're still seeing the middle east protesters out there i'm just not seeing them on campuses like you're like you're talking about it is interesting that you don't see it because you know college is back in full four so back for over a month it is interesting that we don't see that like we did at the end of the school year last year right or this year but no well i'd be wrong then because i i said i think it's gonna right i said this back in may and june when college is broke for the summer i said if you think this thing's not gonna go away in the fall you're crazy and maybe it has it kind of did and you know i know there were protests outside the dnc in august but it wasn't exactly what they were expecting yeah so i mean it's it's an interesting point you don't see a lot of that happening now and it's not like the war has ended or or you know let's see if it's not after the u.s. just sent more troops over to the middle east let's see if that changes here in the next six weeks i don't i get what you're saying i just i don't know yeah it just doesn't seem like it's like you know we say this you know we said this when it happened it is it's it's like the tiktok phenomenon it was really big in may and june or april and may of of of uh last school year you know six months ago or whatever it was and and now they've moved on to something else that's how we are a society yes yes we we take our outrage on to the next subject yep yep eight five five eight three nine twelve ten if you want to jump in with war of your calls right now time for a dawn stems one big three at nine it's the big three and nine on killing company sponsored by budget blinds so striking a remark employees at all three south philadelphia stadiums they say they're on strike amid these contract negotiations that have gone sour and so this affects the delivery of food and drinks to the stadiums that has definitely been impacted according to the union so they have union workers out there wearing their placards don't patronize error mark as they're saying go to the game especially with our fillies clenching the nl east division title last night and hoping to get another win against the cubs tonight so they can earn that by week so they're saying hey come early tailgate and bring your own food your own drinks don't patronize them error mark releasing a statement said saying that they've been fair they've been trying to work with the union but these are hundreds of unionized concessions workers employed at the wells fardo center lincoln financial field citizens bank park they went on strike as we told you yesterday and they are still negotiating for improved benefits and wages that's what we're hearing but they're saying don't tip the scabs wearing the uh... bloat you don't have the blown up or you know rats uh... the inflatables but they don't want you to um patronize any anybody inside and don't tip them that's what they're saying yeah don't pick your scabs folks because they uh... lead to scars scars are permanent oh out my mom always told me that don't pick at your scab tip i know i see that's what my brain wanders have to well uh... we have philadelphia this is big news in philadelphia it's tough to get rid of those big items like refrigerators or the old tv big screen so now the shirrell parker administration announcing something new and this is a new residential bulk collection program that will make the disposal of those large household items like a fridge or an old air conditioner or tires so this is part of the new plan to make sure that people don't illegally dump this stuff because often that's what happens so i've seen people doing that too forcing out like an old couch or you know all these all immovable objects in your house they have no more use for you just toss them in like the woods or you know god forbid like a little river it's just mhm yeah or somebody's street yeah they may they make it so damn like you actually have to pay companies come up you have to pay them oh yeah to take some of the stuff away because trash collectors don't take them yeah when did trash collectors become so finicky well look every year we're on christmas time uh i took my garbage food we uh you know got a tip we hang out we my wife is out there we're handing out like trump we're handing out we're handing out hundreds they're like all right everybody and they will take anything we leave out there then i love it so what do you do is she like tape a 20 spot to the can or something no when they come she runs out there and the envelope gives them well it's very nice and they they you know because of that they remember us all year yeah and whatever crap we leave at the curb they take yeah probably shouldn't announce this but there you go uh so so in philanthropy i've heard they do i don't i don't know if they do that or not so in philadelphia it's it's that you call ahead they're gonna have a program you know they're they're rolling they're just rolling this out but you're gonna call ahead and that way it'll be a special truck because you don't want the trucks getting you know too filled up on the regular trash day so air conditioners water heaters microwave ovens yeah household furniture large toys flat screen TVs empty refrigerators tires all of that you just call ahead you make the appointment let them know and then schedule it ahead they're still not going to do things like hazardous you know old paint hazardous materials mattresses but at least they're going to take these big items i think it's to me as a philadelphia resident this is a great idea because you you see stuff they just somebody dumps it off on a city street yep yep so we got that going for us which is nice uh let's talk about obesity in america a topic that especially during the pandemic and post pandemic we talked about the average 17 to 25 pounds that people gained well the prevalence of obesity according to the latest federal data shows adults slightly decreasing in the united states of america but still higher than it was a decade ago so adults 20 and older 40 percent are estimated to be obese wow 40 percent that's down because it was 41.9 it was almost 42 percent so now we've gone down 1.9 percent well we just gotta keep the groceries uh 25 percent higher than it used to be wall lose weight right they're saying that more than 100 million american adults so about a third of the nation you know think about that have severe obesity that's not even like mild borderline poison our body with all this garbage let me ask let me ask you guys a question though what is the definition i think i think the definition for obesity is is a little you know what i mean it's dated like i should be one's i should be like 165 that's what i mean like an AIDS patient if i was 165 yeah i mean that's just not right you don't need to say that but it's it's but it's true like yeah i think that that are you know they're like well at six two you should be 171 like i haven't been 171 since 11th grade yeah you know what i mean so um and i i wouldn't look healthy at 171 well 190 is about my my my good weight you know that's that's when i feel healthy but in this one they're saying when they say 100 million american adults this is not even the kids but 100 million american adults have obesity yeah they're saying more than 15 ish pounds overweight i think the bigger number is the 20 million adults that are over 45 pounds overweight so i think you're right to the 100 100 million i think they should change those stats yeah to say maybe 25 to 30 pounds overweight because if you meet somebody because muscle weighs three times of that fat sure so if somebody is more muscular right you're gonna weigh more right so don't get discouraged folks if you start lifting weights and your seven pounds heavier and you're also doing cardio to your point on muscle triples the weight of fat yes you can't you know but the the more concerning number i think is that 20 million adults that are 45 plus pounds overweight that's the one to look at i think we have to be worried too about the uh soft soft chubby fat kids well no i'm serious i mean there's a there's soft chubby fat looking children there's a lot of there's a lot of them now that i see and i'm just like oh god god because of bad parenting yes here's a youtube but here's a youtube your ipad and a red bull get lost yep yep you wonder why it's sad it's sad to see you know what i mean like because you're putting them on a on a track for obesity the rest of their lives yep lives but as trump said though some of this is overrated you know all of his buddies that were healthy they're all gone trump's eating proper burgers you don't see you don't see a you don't see an overweight 80 year old though you just don't you know i know we've got yeah i know we've played these video clips in these still shots of you know back in the day on a bus or a train everyone dressed up in thin but you you talk and on you saw it firsthand in Italy you just go over to europe you know there's people walking around they're all look like fitness models and we're all a bunch of slugs two things in europe for example in other parts of the world they don't allow the chemicals or the processing that we allow in america number one that's why i think rfk junior resonates with saying that yep you know we're poisoning our food supply but number two to your point everybody's walking everybody's biking i think that they should say when they create these biking and walking lanes that would be a better sell yeah well think about the lazy culture i mean you know i get it they have you know those other types of transportation over in europe i mean i'm guessing they have like an uber or a lift but instead of walking six blocks well let's pay for an uber and now instead of walking to our car to walk to the restaurant to get carry out we door dash it yep the convenience factor in this country has just increased the um accessibility to laziness it's true it's true you don't want to leave you know i didn't do anything there's no reason to leave your home anymore right it's true well here's an interesting little stat here in this new all the new statistics they're releasing people between the ages of 40 to 59 years old in america 46 and a half percent are obese so that's your largest group which is not you know not older than that not younger that 40 to 59 that's that is the most obese group of adults 40 to 59 that one surprises me and these are active people sure and of them women women tend to suffer this more than men no it's a side effect of trump derangement syndrome eating the chips for stress they're eating the chips is that it i don't know i think it's it's it is interesting but at least we went down a little bit maybe ozem pick hmm i guess but that's such the i mean it's i'm not going to say it's like a cowardly way out some people that's all you can do because you've tried everything else it's just it seems like too good to be true like we're going to do studies 10 years from now when people that took ozem pick that ended up being diagnosed with x y and z and it's you know the quick fix but the quick fix usually doesn't last right well i will say this that now congress wants to interview their ceo because these companies one of them i was reading this their profits within just the pet since they've come out with ozem pick are more of that over than 30 years they've spent on research the the profits of with these companies are huge and now congress is getting involved i don't know how you feel about this because the private sector issue but congress is saying how can you charge so much for people if their insurance company doesn't pay for it when it's life-saving so to your point nick i would say this that if somebody's more than 40 pounds overweight that's so hard to lose as an adult it could be argued that the risk reward is such that it's going to see it's going to it's going to save their life they're not going to die you know with by the time they're 65 of all of these diseases that that because that amount of weight it's it's like i mean kudos to anybody who loses that much it's much harder once you get into your 30s and 40s and 50s yep no doubt so let's talk about our budget blinds our sponsor ready for fall budget blinds is your one stop shop for blind shade shutters custom drapery motorization visit budget blinds.com for a free in-home consultation the only nasty that's wrong that's it for us all right don't thank you very much libo with a great tweet he says speaking of the tour do stores in Bethlehem allentown norestown as well as the rural areas yeah store tour 24 i'm telling you guys this is this is this is the this is the way to victory this is the way to victory i'm the you know every you know the political consultant yeah right i just you know this is 98% always correct who's more accurate you allen lickman or the cookie store in Cincinnati cookies for trump i'm just this is i mean this is a this that that clip of him paying that uh that woman's groceries is just it's so it's so impactful it just is yes scott's ripping me on twitter uh scott he says in her defense in regards to uh sure all parker she's a moderate we could be stuck with progressive hell and gim parker did the right thing bringing all city employees back to work and on the job okay i agree with that i guess he's referring to my uh rant about her silence as to what happened this weekend in the city with the uh filming of joker too with the cars on fire everything else at 940 i'm going to play a report um about that and about the uh the injuries that were sustained and the damage yeah um nbc 10 did a really good breakdown of that i played that coming up in like 20 minutes and all right there you go cut sheet part two on the way we will get to voicemails we will get to today in music history and then i want to give you this last story of the day with the now fired covid czar of new york city where do you hear these details we'll get to that coming up shortly this is the kaolin company podcast from talk radio 1210 wpht and on the free odyssey app let me get to this covid story um i i'm having flashbacks to 2021 when i read this last night you guys have just got to listen to these details by the way i love all these people that are in charge of things and they're labeled as czar like kamala Harris was dubbed the border czar yet she was you know recently on pluto and neptune more frequently than actually going to the southern border but new york city's ex covid czar has now officially been fired from his job after he admitted to having drug-fueled sex parties during the peak of the pandemic this story from the new york post the city's ex covid czar got the boot from his job at a pharmaceutical firm yesterday a week after he was caught on film bragging about hosting sex parties and attending an underground rave at the height of the pandemic dr j varma was serving as a senior health advisor to then mayor build the blazio during covid 19 when he and his wife would put on the sex and drug-fueled debauchery and attend a packed wall street rave according to secretly recorded conversations that the doctor had with a woman on september 23rd of 2024 the board of directors of sigma technologies officially terminated dr j varna was a critic um excuse me varna a varna critic and city councilman bob holton said in a blistering statement dr j varna's firing is a step in the right direction but the consequences of his actions are long overdue varna boasted about harassing people into submission over the vaccine mandate and admitted to participating in illegal sex parties all while he former health commissioner dr david choskey and then build the blazio imposed draconian measures that shut down the entire city the hypocrisy is outrageous varna's simi chats which included him boasting saying quote i did all of this deviant like sexual stuff and i kind of had to be sneaky about it because i was running the entire covid response for the city and i'm thinking back to two specific moments that made me really think that this whole thing just stunked the high hell one if you'll recall in los angeles this i think was 2020 or maybe into 2021 when governor gavin newson was seen at a ritzy la restaurant with magic johnson and all these hollywood elites french laundry yes eating dinner and doing all this stuff no masks no social distancing yeah by the way if masks are so good and and magic johnson is immune compromised shouldn't magic johnson have had a mask on right magic johnson being a mr mr i've got eight the whole thing ready in h i v i would think he would not want to get covid if his uh systems a little out of act and you would think too that as we know how um covid spreads especially in that time period um yeah sex party's probably not the best thing to do if you want to say no no just in line with all of the sexual deviance that are out there doing all this ridiculous stuff you know we got the ditty story out there and then i also have the flashback when we talk about masks and distancing and i'm watching there i'll never forget when fauci threw that that curve ball that landed 40 feet right of the home plate with the catcher at the nationals game and then fauci sitting there remember when the the stadiums were empty yep and then they started doing like 20 capacity but you had to be like six seats away from the next fan and there's fauci with the mask down on his chin like a football chin strap on a helmet and he's got two people do his left one person to the right nobody's socially distanced nobody's wearing a mask and they're sitting there enjoying a ball game well i gotta watch it on tv with people that are piped in with computers and zoom broadcast the game from their house complete hypocrisy confidence are by the way nick hill paul writes to us well actually you and uh apparently he's not happy with us making fun of uh just saying duty yes uh what a reader should i well i could read it so you can kind of distance yourself from this if you want to i take the bullets here that's how we roll um he says i must be missing something well you and the conservative counter part of just guitar law of relaxing i guess that's me first of all just guitar law is the democrat i'm not a democrat i hate the democrats equally as much as i hate the republicans so i'm an equal opportunity hater for both parties um so uh because we were we're laughing hysterically i had to stand to pronouncing a duty duty which sounded nothing out of the ordinary to me uh i was being impressed by the content of his statement ankle deep okay sorry duty duty duty duty duty duty duty duty duty well let's let's start with his first sentence of i must be missing something yes you miss the fact that we do occasionally like to have a little bit of fun here in morning drive and lighten up all the uh you know the serious conversations that we delve into 95 percent of the time but uh you know five percent of the time we do try to have some some fun here on a morning radio show oh god the the people they're just sticks in a lot you know the cuck-till of what you shut up well you don't listen don't you know like we say don't listen well here's what we'll do we'll just we'll just take the now no longer available on this station mark live in show we'll pop him in morning drive we'll get 20 percent of the audience and then uh paul daniels will be happy simple solution and then you can save money and not pay me i just i can't i can't with like if you're if you're a male even a female and you don't laugh at duty like i i don't know what's wrong with you yeah yeah maybe maybe we didn't grow up in the same generation yeah yeah he says i was impressed by the content of his statement which i am always impressed of course DeSantis is the thoughtful opinion but it still doesn't replace the fact that he's bizarre individual and the way he says things sometimes are funny can we just if you go back to six fifteen this morning he played that clip in the big day in the big take and made a serious commentary about it yes it was just the it was a joke in the seven o'clock hour yeah about how he kept saying duty duty duty duty duty no more fun folks we've got an entire fun mandate that's right laugh at yourself people life life life is not that complicated man yeah i'm not even gonna get bothered by it because we've got a sales meeting coming up and i've got to be in a good frame of mind and i don't want to go in there all sweaty at nine thirty six let's get to a Tuesday edition of what's on the cut sheet part dude grammardin calls us beefs about it well i'm definitely butted duty duty duty i wonder if my big take was serious enough for him yeah maybe i i'll just i'll i'll just rant and rave all show long i'll just be a serious gas bag you know what we'll do let's get let's get the let's get gordon chang on tomorrow so we can seriously we can really make the show very serious don't do that they're very tall very happy do that of course ninety percent of my audience will tune out but all right um can we start here with cut 14 this is james carvel he was on last night with his his wife mary matlin uh cnn uh who's who who's a republican by the way conservative i think um i think she's still is i don't know the odd looking helpful by the way if you're on youtube youtube.com/at1210 to vphd um you can see that just the oddness of these two um he says and look he's a smart guy i know a lot of people disagree with him but you know he helped like bill clinton in 92 and he says that the the election doesn't feel like a race that harris is gonna lose wow just one man's opinion okay cut 14 fill up uh go look at just the last couple months you have you know don't trump talking about patience eating cats and dogs uh you know his candidate north carolina who you know revealed his uh talking about himself as a black nazi on the porn site he brought a 9/11 conspiracy theorist to non-elera and memorial ceremonies why do you think it's this close do i think yeah i think it's more than close of course it's close you just said it was close but it's close in the poland i'm not convinced that it's gonna be close in election day i'll say that if there's seven swing states the least most least likely scenario is it breaks four three it always gets uh and again every race other than maybe 2008 has been close right up to election day and i if i it could be wrong but it's gonna break in one direction of the other i really believe that in most of the time these elections do that and uh i i don't like to predict elections i would just say just just doesn't feel like a race that harris is gonna lose but that's just a feeling that's just a feeling all right i mean if he says he feels like harris is gonna win i've got no problem with that but we went through yesterday harry and uh with the polling if it's off one point in either way what it would look like other under the presumption of a landslide one of them was harris three nineteen to two nineteen the other was trump like three twelve to two twenty six or something like that and i said this yesterday so i'm gonna stay consistent with that i don't think either one is going to get to three hundred in the electoral college oh i did i disagree you do i do okay so you you think with the swing states it'll pretty much be all or nothing for one of the two i think that it's yes it's going to be close but i think that it's that there there's definitely going to be a somebody passing the three hundred threshold okay well you've got history on your side because in 16 trump took the seven swing states got to three oh four i think and then in 2020 biden the one six of the seven swing states the only one that trump won a second time was north carolina so history is on your side the last two elections i just think when you look at this razor thin polling and the fact that it's i i actually think that double haters back in play where i think a lot of people maybe thought it would go away with the freshness of com of comola um i i could see four three and i could see it being you know two seventy six two sixty two yeah um not not ready to give a prediction yet i just i don't i i don't think i think carville is correct in some of the stuff he's saying that he doesn't that that it's it's going to be razor thin up until election day because it always is but the results they think you're going to be different okay that's all that's all that's the only thing i'm going to tip from my hand right now um we mentioned this earlier don't mention it a lot in her news we started the show with it yesterday about the uh that meet up that drag that drag uh that car meet up yesterday in philadelphia yep if you were jumping on cop cars and everything nbc 10 had a pretty uh thorough um uh report on this about the vehicles that were damaged and um officers that were assaulted uh during an illegal car meetup uh that happened uh late sunday night in philadelphia this is cut uh thirteen phogo those that were involved in it should be very well aware we have your picture we're coming for you if you think you got away last night you didn't jeez look at this another weekend of illegal car meetups causing what philadelphia police described as chaos across the city at least three people including one juvenile are under arrest as investigators try to get control of this situation thanks for being with us for nbc 10 news at six i'm rosemary conners philadelphia police tell us they believe last night's events were in retaliation to the steps the city is taking to crack down on these potentially dangerous car meetups nbc 10's brian sheen joins us now with more on the extent of the damage to police property as the search for the drivers involved continues brian philison well rosemary philadelphia police say five of their vehicles were damaged and officers were attacked as they tried to break up these illegal meetups that have been causing uh problems wreaking havoc in our city you can see the skid marks here just outside city hall we're across uh from the ritz carlton but take a look what it looked like while this was happening overnight this was happening those involved actually lit a ring of fire in the middle of the road as they blocked traffic investigators tell us this was just one of 11 total incidents involving illegal street racing last night from busleton avenue in the north east all the way to bartram gardens in southwest six of those incidents they say were violent and included flame throwers setting off fireworks and starting fires in trash cans philadelphia police held a rare sunday afternoon press conference to talk about all the mayhem officers and residents endured last night police have been cracking down on the meetups using intel they gather to try to prevent them before they happen and they think that has something to do with what we saw overnight wow so i think my my big takeaway is the fact that in the beginning they say that they believe that this is in retaliation to the official first wave of crackdowns against this so obviously they haven't sent a strong enough message as a city whether it's the mayor's office the police department you know the district attorney's office um what would dawn reported earlier like two thousand dollar fines and things like that yep obviously that's not enough of a deterrent it's true yeah so we need we need stiffer penalties for these kinds of these actions yep yeah all right there you go that'll do it we'll come back we'll get to your voicemails and then what occurred today in music history by the way if you don't know about the voicemails it's a new feature we do every day to wrap things up right around nine forty five nine fifty download the audicy app click listen live for twelve ten w p h t call it gravy regardless and the sauce would be cooking and there would be meat in it and we've always called it gravy no matter what yep okay yeah that's the point i made yesterday as a metagon as somebody that's not Italian i you call it gravy regardless i didn't think the meat or no meat was really uh an indicator as to what constitutes gravy but oh there you go i guess i people love this subject yes we did a we did a radio thing with Bruno years ago when we're doing sports and we didn't use the word gravy because we couldn't come up with something that rhymed so we did a taste testing challenge and we called it Bruno and the boss of the sauce oh nice but Bruno did say it's gravy gotcha pretend ozzy hey boss Tim wall's here i'm in the men's room at every school in minnesota we're ozzy's best one that's i guess this in response to uh him yeah the unverifiable story that's out there are yesterday well yeah yeah and the unverified stories of you know like they're we by the way that tampon story that's out there that people keep reciting uh for what it's worth the multiple news outlets have tried to confirm the authenticity of that and there's there's no evidence of that but yeah run with whatever you want by the way chris ebbolito gravy goes on turkey it's true yeah it's true and you know i'm in the mood for turkey now we gotta have turkey more than just once a year
