I'm Jean-Marie Laskis. I'm a journalist. I spend my career helping Americans understand the lives of other Americans, coal miners, gun shop clerks, staffers in the White House mailroom. In my new podcast, Cement City, I tell the story of an entire town, a dying town that you've absolutely no reason to care about. But trust me, you will. Listen to and follow Cement City, an Odyssey original podcast in partnership with Cement City Productions, available now for free on the Odyssey app, and wherever you get your podcasts. The authorities in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, the suburbs of Philadelphia, of course, investigating the death of a man who were told, charged police officers with a weapon, a machete, among other things, before he was fatally shot. So the Montgomery County DA's office, putting out there, putting out there, saying that East Greenville Police responded to some kind of a domestic call, after an 18 year old called 911. This happened over the weekend, a report of a physical assault. Prosecutors say officers arriving to find a man barricaded in the basement of the home. And allegedly, he was threatening to harm law enforcement. So prosecutors say additional police from other agencies responding there. And there were several attempts to negotiate with this guy. Officers say they breached the basement door overnight late Saturday night into Sunday to find the man armed with a machete, as well as a hatchet. And the man, quote, charged at police refusing to drop his weapon and attempt to hit the man with a stun gun failed to stop him. And an officer were told from the upper, the upper perk police department in Penzburg fired his weapon, striking that man police rendered aid, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. And that was overnight Saturday into Sunday. So prosecutors, you know, investigating this per the pro call for shootings involved with an officer and anybody with information in the case, they're also being asked to contact detectives. Wow. Do we know how long the duration of the standoff was until the threat was no longer a threat? At least three hours. Wow. At least three hours, this went back. Okay, it's got to be the longest three hours of an officer's life. Yeah. Wow. So this one, the way that they're, you know, they're wording it carefully doing due diligence, obviously, but this is making, you know, major news today. So we'll talk about that one. You know, it was five years ago today that a little girl went missing five years old. Her name was Dulce. And every year, you know, we think about her, her family gathers. It was a strange story in which the FBI became involved because they initially investigated even the mother who was right there had turned to help her toddler. And within seconds, it was reported that a near a man in a nearby van. That was the suspect, but she was abducted from a South Jersey park. This was five years ago today. And still law enforcement at the local and federal level, they continue to say that they believe Dulce is still alive five years later. Yes. Wow. She was abducted by someone. That's that's the story that they keep getting out. But this is just, it's a story that I think if you remember when it happened, there were so many people who were confident that she would be found. And it's, it's just tragic that, you know, she was little Dulce, it was never found. So she was abducted. It would be five years ago today. So we'll talk about that as commemorations continue. And then there was a nine year old boy killed in South Jersey in a car crash that we've been talking about involving a football coach, honored at a visual, not a dry eye. If you saw this as hundreds of people gathering in Cape May County last night to celebrate the life of a nine year old little boy who was killed in a crash that we told you about last week, grief, stricken community, Palermo, New Jersey, showing up to pray, lean on each other for support after little Easton Biesler was killed in that crash. So it's just, they had, they've had many different celebrations of life, if you will, candlelight visuals for those killed in the community in this community. But the fatal two car crash took place in Vineland. It was just outside Romano sports complex. So it happened Thursday night, 31 year old Adil Ortiz's motorcycle collided with a Chevy that the young boy had been riding in with his mom. So the coach, coach Ortiz, youth football coach from Vineland, he was struck and killed in that as well. And so these, ironically, the youth coaches who knew both the boy as well as the coach, I mean, not if you saw this vigil, not a dry eye. As they spoke about all these, you know, all these, the coaches spoke about him as a coach. And then for this nine year old little boy. So just a lot of sadness in the community, as we think about outside the sports complex, memorials, full of balloons, if you drive by there, honoring the lives of both the coach and the boy Easton, who not only the coach dedicated his life to coaching, but also was the devoted and loving young father. So though all of those stories in the news this morning, as we think about what's been happening locally, for sure. Sad news in the world of music with the death of Tito Jackson, Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson's brother, he was 70 years young. We don't have a word on the cause of his death, but Tito Jackson has died. We're going to need a today in Tito history from, from philanthropist at 950 M sure Tito did something on this day in history. Say it ain't so. Wow. Tito Jackson. Tito. Just wake if you're waking up to that one this morning. Obviously, we're talking about the Eagles today. So as far as our Nicole Nick Foles honorary captain retires today as an eagle and a lot of excitement surrounding that is as Greg Stalker had noted because of all the political campaigning going on. Kamala Harris, it seems like Kamala Harris times these things with either a Phil's, the Phil's playing or the Eagles. Yeah. Well, we know what she what she looks at. Look up the Google. Look up the Google. Yep. Just look up the Google and then laugh and find your answer. So we got that going on, which is nice, but our Philadelphia Eagles honoring Nick Foles. So he retires this evening, huge celebration planned. I know Sapta is adding extra trains and your advice, of course, get there early. Birds by a million tonight, Don. No way you can lose with the Nick Foles honorary moments tonight. Don't jinx him. Eagles by 200. No, AJ Brown tonight. Oh, you're the hand, but yeah, I saw that. Say go on, Barkley. Let's go. Bye. Bye, man. I haven't been fantasy. Just go for 50 points, pal. Keep doing it. Fantasy for police. Um, Nick, our, our own Nick, Nicole is going to get to the latest on Donald J. Trump, former president, safe following that incident involving gunshots at the Trump international golf course campaign confirming former president is safe following what appears to be. That's how they're wording it. It appears to be right. Right. It appears to be. Yeah. Just a guy in the gun. Yeah. Within the bushes. Yeah. He just, he thought it was a he thought it was a real shotgun scramble and he was going to play the fifth hole for Trump himself. Oh my goodness. So more on the suspect and all the details in just a moment. We are sponsored by Wawa this morning. Did you hear Wawa has the classic hogies for just six bucks, whether it's cheesesteak, meatball or Italian, you can get any classic hogie for just $6, got to have a Wawa and we are sponsored in our sports and whether by indeed we do have, by the way, rain in the forecast. So no rain for today. 20% chance of showers for tomorrow, 79 degrees today. But we're going to get some tropical like much needed rain moving in Wednesday and Thursday. And we had some drought like conditions. If you notice, even it looks like fall on some Philadelphia streets with the leaves lining the streets. Yeah. And I also hate how it's like the grass is kind of burned out and it's hot out. Yes. It's in the eighties over the weekend. But yet it still feels like the fall with like the the leaves falling. It's an odd to an odd like, what are we what are we trying to do here? Is it fall? Is it summer? It's like we're having like a weather identity crisis. It's bothering me. I don't like the identity crisis. Well, we are sponsored indeed in our sports and whether by the way, Philadelphia fill is beautiful night for baseball. 7 40 PM this evening, Phil's at or excuse me, Phil's at Milwaukee Brewers. The big take on killing company and the big take this morning is brought to you by United Tire, the big take twice in two months in less than a week. They rigged the debate against him and tried to kill him. They've tried to kill him twice in two months. Keep firing because he's still standing. Actually, I do take that back. Stop firing because you're a sick human being and you need help. But when do liberals and progressives get held accountable? Aren't you the ones who perpetually are offended by words and how words hurt and how words lead to action? When will the left hold themselves responsible for the divisive, inflammatory rhetoric? You know, like Trump's a bigger threat to democracy than insert whatever or January 6th is worse than Pearl Harbor or January 6th is worse than September 11th again. Seriously again, Donald Trump is in Florida on a Sunday in September and comes within three to 500 feet, three to 500 yards of being killed. You know what? I'm going to vote for the guy that they've tried to kill twice over the lady that they've installed twice as that sound. Why was Donald Trump's life in jeopardy again? Was it because of this latest story with an ABC news whistleblower with an affidavit that indicates that ABC and Harris reportedly colluded together? Is this now a distraction? Now on a gorgeous Sunday, another Donald Trump assassination attempt occurs with a man hiding in the bushes with a scope to backpacks and AK-47 and a GoPro. According to reports, Trump was taken to the ground by agents after the shots fired out. And according to the inept, understaffed, ill-prepared, inept, possibly in on it, incompetent secret service, agents returned fire, fired four shots at the suspect. At this point, Trump's best chance is at winning the election might just be to survive and make it to November 5th. Seriously, twice in two months now, almost two months exactly. And what party is the party of crazies and the party of weird? Has Joe Biden been shot at? What about Kamala Harris? I don't know about you guys, but I'm looking up at my scoreboard and it says Trump to Harrison Biden. Thank God. Zero. But let's hear from the authorities. Here is Sheriff Rick Bradshaw, Palm Beach County, Florida, Sheriff's office. And here is Bradshaw on the initial details yesterday. Listen and watch this. The secret service agent that was on the course did a fantastic job. What they do is they have an agent that jumps one hole ahead of time to where the president was at. And he was able to spot this rifle barrel, stick it out of the fence and immediately engage that individual at which time the individual took off. So on the surface at entry level from a response standpoint, thankfully that agent on the ground spotted it and reacted in the fashion he did. So how did this happen? And what were the suspects details such as weapons and ammunition? Listen and watch more of Sheriff Bradshaw. Now, in the bushes where this guy was, is a 8K 47 style rifle with a scope, two backpacks, which were hung on the fence that had a ceramic tile in them and a GoPro, which he was going to take pictures of. So those are being processed right now. This guy came with a mission, the objective to assassinate Donald Trump. So who is this guy? What is his background? What are the significant details of his past history? Where was the gun from? How did he get it? How did he approach the property and get within a distance this close? If you recall Butler, PA within roughly 120 to 150 yards. This one a little further out at three to 500 yards. But that's basically the length of a golf hole. How does this continue to happen? Here's more of Sheriff Bradshaw. Listen and watch this exchange. One more time and talk a little bit. Well, you got to understand the golf course is surrounded by shrubbery. So when somebody gets into the shrubbery, they're pretty much out of sight. And at this level that he is at right now, he's not the city president. If he was, we would have had this hiring golf course around him. But because he's not, the security is limited to the areas that the Secret Service deems possible. So I would imagine that the next time he comes into golf course, there'll probably be a little more people around the perimeter. But the Secret Service did exactly what they should have done. They provided exactly what the protection should have been. And their agent did a fantastic job. We need to have a deeper conversation about the Secret Service and what this agency is all about. If you recall on Friday, I said citing a report from July 20th, that Trump has been seeking additional Secret Service that has been denied for over the last two years. So according to that sheriff, I guess we could all just pull this off, right? Shrubs, bushes, weeds. It's good enough to be out of sight to the Secret Service. And the most polarizing president of all time, hands down, is limited to basic inadequate protection, all because he's not the sitting president. And he's only got protection with the next hole looming. What about the other 16 or 17 holes on the golf course? Does that pass the smell test to you? Does July 13th not resonate? How could they drop their guard down again? Unless, of course, it's by design. Keep in mind, I'm on record adamantly saying I'm not running from it. I think Donald Trump was sent out there to be killed on July 13th in Butler, PA. And now on a Sunday in September, it occurs again. So how close was it? Well, apparently within a Tiger Woods driver of the golf ball, listen and watch this last clip of the sheriff. Probably between three and 500 yards, but with a rifle and a scope like that, that's not a long distance. Of course not. It's like a layup, like a tap into foot putt, right? And how close did Thomas Matthew Crooks get? Well, we've heard about 140 yards. So I guess technically the secret service has improved. You can only get within 350, 400 yards now of the president. Again, this doesn't pass the smell test. And this is what they're willing to do. This is how bad the protection is. And regardless of who is to blame and who is orchestrating all of this, ask yourself why and ask yourself why you would vote against the guy that they've tried to kill twice. And that's the big take. Trump had been playing golf at the time yesterday, moving between the fifth and the sixth hole, a source briefed on the matter, has told multiple outlets. A Secret Service agent then spotted a rifle barrel with a scope sticking out of the fence of the golf course and quote immediately engaged with the person, the agent who spotted the rifle according to Sheriff Bradshaw said is a part of the team that stays a hole or two ahead of Trump on the course at all times. The person was three to 500 yards away from Trump and the person then fled the scene in a car was spotted by a witness, which ultimately helped law enforcement officials locate the vehicle driving north on I 95 in Martin County, which is one county to the north of West Palm Beach. Bradshaw said quote, we are able to catch a witness that came to us and said, hey, I saw the guy running out of the bushes. He jumped into a black Nissan and I took a picture of the vehicle and the tag, which was great. Don Stensland, your thoughts and reaction to yesterday? I mean, are you surprised? Are you angry? Because this is now the second time in almost exactly two months that somebody has gotten within very, very close striking distance. Well, I was I was jamming to BB King who would have been 99 today. It was his birthday right September 16th. That's exactly correct. Yes. So thank you for the the blues. You know, are is Trump singing the blues? Are we singing the blues? Are we losing trust? I think that's I couldn't believe it yesterday. I was out in the yard doing some yard work. I came in. I'm like, are you kidding me? And Melania Trump, I know over the weekend released another video and I think she's absolutely right to ask all of these questions. But I think that this is deserving of some kind of a special prosecutor or special investigator, a special counsel, perhaps, you know, anybody who's special and not the FBI. I just think for the transparency and for the issue of, you know, we just had a lack of trust at this point. And what the heck is going on? How is it that the FBI can raid his property to your point with Mar-a-Lago, right? With the classified documents? And that's what Melania's talking about. And then you expect now, whether you break a law, you break a rule, whatever it is, it seems to me, and I don't think you have to be a Trump supporter, nor do you have to be a rocket scientist to point out the obvious. It seems like there's a conflict of interest, right? Like you can't have an agency or agencies that have been weaponized and have gone after Donald Trump. And then in good conscience, got good consciousness, sit there and be like, you know what? I feel like our federal agencies are going to get to the bottom of this, right? Like, I'm sorry, it's just one of these things where I sit here and I say, oh my God, how bad is the Secret Service? How corrupt is the FBI? You know, I said, you know, in countless shows that I can't stand any of these alphabet agencies. I don't trust any of them as far as I can throw them from the FBI to the CDC and everybody in between under the sun. But like, this is the Secret Service where I'm sorry. Okay, he's not the current sitting president, but he is the current GOP nominee. He's in a coin flip of a race against Kamala Harris. And the best we can do for the guy is, well, there's a one agent on hole number seven. He's walking around. He doesn't see anything. Keep it gum. And Mr. President, you just birdied six, all clear on seven. Let's see if you can keep up your good round. I'm sorry. You know, we've read the story. I gave it to you from the New York Post again on Friday. And as we were just passing, and I was mentioning something, Trump has requested Secret Service beefed up presence for two years. And it's the same government that is denied a Kennedy Secret Service protection. Ask yourself why? And I get the difference between sitting incumbent versus former. But it's not like we're talking about Jimmy Carter here, somebody that's been out of office for 45, 50 years, whatever it might be. We're talking about a guy still in the throes of the fire that is American politics. And he's surrounded by what Paul Blart, the mall cop and a couple of slappies. Is this the best we could do done? No, obviously not. And I think combined with the fact that you have, you know, they said, well, he's a candidate. Well, he's not an ordinary candidate. He's a former president and a candidate. And this is the second attempt. And and this will only last until the November 5 election, right? So it's a short window of time. So why not just go for that? They probably will do it now because this is a bad look. But I think overall, you know, the fact that there are so many questions into this, Melania over the weekend talking about the FBI, the Marilago raid that they violated her fourth amendment rights and just putting that into question and saying it's really a question that all Americans should should be asking certain seizure. Well, it's I mean, it's the violation of our rights and overstepping. So she said, you know, the FBI raided her home, but it's not about her story. She's warning all Americans that it's a reminder that our freedoms and rights must be respected. So I think that resonates with a with a lot of different groups across the country. And then on top of that, and this was Saturday, this was before, obviously, yesterday afternoon happened. So we'll we'll see if they come out and say, you know what, we're going to we're going to provide. I mean, the election, it's a short window at this point. Why not? Yeah. And then, of course, you had on Friday, I think Stocker played it for in part part due of the cut sheet, a Democrat lawmaker coming out saying he was in a paraphrasing here, stunned or appalled at what you are about to find out made available to the American public this week as to what they've uncovered from the July 13 assassination attempt. And I think all three of us were kind of reacting to that clip on the air Friday of saying, Oh man, what does this guy know? What are the real details as to what occurred on that awful day in Butler PA? And here we are less than 48 or just over 48 hours later on a Sunday, and you get reports, and I'm sitting there with my buddies. I'm at my buddy's house, we're watching football, and I get a text. I look down, just assumed it was my wife. It was not it was a buddy who said they just tried to shoot Trump again. And I look over at my two friends, and they're looking at me and I'm like, guess what? And they're like, what? And I say Trump. And before I could get to the second word, my buddy blarts out to the shoot on him again. I'm like, yeah, they shot at him again. And apparently the suspect, according to reports is Ryan Ralph. If that is how you pronounce the scumbags name correctly, R O U T H. I see a tweet that is been posted that's been shared on social media. Don't know the authenticity of it. It is dated April 22nd of 2024 at 640 PM. And I think you understand this guy's political mindset where he tweets the following at Potis, which I would assume is the Joe Biden official presidential account. Keep in mind, this was back in April. So this would be before Joe was taken off the ticket. He says your campaign should be called something like K A D A F. Keep America democratic and free. Trump's should be M A S A. Make Americans slaves again master. Democracy is on the ballot. And we cannot lose. We cannot afford to fail. The world is counting on us to show the way. And I've also got some more information here about this shooter. This is according to Fox News. I actually don't when you were doing the news. I took a screenshot of the television in the studio where they put up like a snapshot of this guy's history. So Ryan Wesley Ralph is 58 years old pronouncing it Ruth. Is it right? Okay. I'll call him Jack as number two. He has lived in Hawaii since 2017. He's a North Carolina native. He said dozens of run ins with police since the 90s. And how about this for something eerily familiar and similar to what you were just reporting about a barricade situation in your news update in 2002. He barricaded himself inside of his office with a gun during a three hour stand off with police. He's got multiple arrests that include drug possession driving without a license and a vehicle with no insurance amongst others. And that's just about five or six bullet points on this individual. So this guy's got a history of breaking the law. This guy's got a history of possession of firearms, which I'm not sure legal or illegal. And now we know that this is a guy who is very politically motivated to apparently kill Donald Trump. I've also seen a story here. And this is according to CNN that he traveled to Russia in 2022 following the invasion of Ukraine. And he is one of these guys who has expressed extremely strong support for Ukraine. So you got my my gut feeling here is and this is just based off the information we have. This guy is crazy. This guy hears the things like Trump and threat to democracy and everything under Trump worse than 9/11 Pearl Harbor and every awful event and views January 6 to be the worst thing since the Civil War. And this is what happens when and here's the thing. I don't really actually believe that the Democrats that spew this rhetoric believe Trump is what they claim he is. But the sixth scary part of this dawn is that there are people out there that believe it. There are people out there either normal people that eventually get brainwashed or people that are mentally ill and easily manipulated to begin with that do view Trump to be Hitler because of this rhetoric. And then the crazies act. So at what point because and we have to ask this question again. We thought we had to ask it after July 13th. Are we going to dial back the rhetoric and are we going to beef up sick. So the answer to everything we asked post July 13th is no no and no because nothing has changed. What 63 days later was a 62 63 days since he's been shot. Nothing has changed. Yeah. This guy it's weird though that he was over in Ukraine and he he claims that he was trying to help recruit soldiers to fight in the con fight in the conflict. And then there was that there's a weird Newsweek interviewed him at some point. Yeah, we have that. We do. Okay. Bizarre. Mm-hmm. That he was trying to recruit Afghan soldiers who fled the Taliban to fight in Ukraine reportedly. Phil, do you have cut 15? If you do, can you roll it? Yeah. Let's let's play 15. And then let's get to also this medium. This rhetoric commentary. He was interviewed by a news week. There he is. Romania. Yep. When he was over in Ukraine. Mm-hmm. 2022. Yeah. Okay. So no audio with this just anyway. Wait, wait, hang on. Okay. Uh, Phil, if you can. Yep. Let's go back and sync it up. Hang on. If you can go back there. 56 from the US US from North Carolina originally. So live in Hawaii now. So flew all the way from Hawaii here. So the question as far as why I'm here. So me, you know, a lot of the other conflicts are gray, but this conflict is definitely black and white. This is about good versus evil. Meaning Ukraine. Yes. You know, any movie we've ever watched, this is definitely evil against good. I mean, we're battling a situation here where you know, the Ukrainians and the rest of the world are caring and kind and generous and unselfish and and take care of one another. And it's just a matter of, you know, we need to stand up for that. That is the most important thing in the world is just to show human beings that we're kind and we're caring and that we take care of one another and that the world is united so that we feed each other and make sure that, you know, we all move forward as one collective whole unit. So, you know, we feel the pain of one country's failure and their conflicts and we enjoy the successes of other countries that are doing good and we all work together. And for some reason, Russia does not grasp this concept that we're all one unit and we have to get along and work together and and and be normal human beings. This is normal human beings. Also, there's a tweet of him tweeting at Elon Musk asking for one of his rockets that he could send over to the Dead Sea and take out Putin. He was very he was very interested in Ukraine. Yes. He was also like his his he also tweeted and said that we need in 2020, I guess, you know, during the primaries, he tweeted and said we need Vivek Ramaswami and Nikki Haley on on a ticket if we really want to unite the country or something like that. He's he just all over the place. Yep. His son just spoke out. I don't know if it was on audio, but I think CNN's reporting. Yeah, I saw that. You saw that his son is saying that my dad hates Trump. I hate Trump. I've actually got the the full set of quotes here. This was Ryan Wesley Ruth's son says his father hates Donald Trump like quote all reasonable people do. Or in Ruth, if that's how you say the named on or in Ruth tells the Daily Mail, his father is not a violent person and didn't believe he owned a firearm. Quote, this was the first I heard about it. He told the Daily Mail, or in said his father hates Trump as quote every reasonable person does adding. I don't like Trump either. Quote, he's my dad and he's he and all he's had is couple traffic tickets as far as I know. Was he? These people just can't even report he was he was arrested for weapons of mass destruction. Oh, I didn't see that reported. There were a lot of reports about him, but I thought he he's had multiple run ins with the law, including possessing quote unquote weapons of mass destruction. Mm hmm. Yeah. This guy's another complete nut job that should be put in a padded cell for the rest of his life. And then of course you get the vice president of the United States and the current nominee at the top of the ticket. And I just checked out both of her official Twitter feeds. And I want to go to the at Kamala Harris one first. As she tweeted 15 hours ago, I have been briefed on reports of gunshots fired near former president Trump and his property in Florida. I am glad he is safe. Violence has no place in America. And then I guess on the official VEEP Twitter feed, there was a longer statement saying I am deeply disturbed by the possible assassination attempt of former president Trump today. As we gather the facts, I will be clear. I condemn political violence. We almost do our part to ensure that this incident does not lead to more violence. And then of course, these the official White House letterhead with a bunch of stuff that she probably didn't even know was being typed up for her. But again, I go back to the rhetoric. This is what happens. This is what happens when you have mentally ill individuals listening to politicians that use explosive rhetoric like Hitler threats to democracy, democracies on the ballot. I got news for everybody out there. Okay, we're going to have an election again in 2028. There's going to be an election in 2032. Donald Trump's not going to get elected and never leave office and then give it to his son. And we're not going to turn into something other than a republic or we can get into the minutiae of our we are republic or are we a democracy. But these people out there, they really believed it. And like my my my my daughters had a bowling party Saturday. And you know, I was of course chatting with my mother in law. And you know, she brings up the cats and the dogs. And then she brings up a project 2025. And she goes, I think most of its nonsense. But I could see him being elected and never leave. I'm like, I'm like, he left the first time. Like, can we stop acting like Donald Trump was not in office? And we don't know what the world was like and life with they what they have really done done is and maybe this is a good smart tactical move from a political strategy standpoint. They've really made it seem like, you know, he was never like if he gets like, we lived it. Like, you know, houses were affordable, gas was cheaper. They're making it sound like there's the end of the world is looming 50 some days from now if he gets elected. Like, we didn't emerge from a Trump presidency once before. And they've made it and this is where I think Trump has failed is they haven't done a good enough job of cutting through the Kamala Harris has been here for three years and 10 months stuff. I know they keep saying it. Why didn't she change it? But for some reason that I don't think is resonating with people, at least in the polls. But like, this is just one of these things again, where I really feel like the left is always the first one to tell us about words. They God forbid you missed gender somebody on a flight, right? You should get 25 years in prison. Yet their words lead to serious actions, like somebody getting their ear shot off and they're never held accountable for their words. Well, that's what I see when I look at the coverage last night to me, I finally, I had to turn it off. I was so outraged because I was flipping around and this is the left and the so-called mainstream media, they're all basically victim blaming. I thought they were the party of, oh, we have to, you know, tamp down the rhetoric and, you know, words are like weapons. This nut job right here is an exact example of why all of these ads think about all of the people who were calling in and writing in during some of the ads that were here airing here on Tarpere D1210WPhT. Words that I think, first of all, as we fact check some of these ads, I have a real problem with them factually, but also words that basically say he is a danger to democracy. The word dangerous is constantly used by the left in these ads and in the media to describe Donald J. Trump and including those projects 2025 ads, which he has said, I didn't write it. It's not mine. I don't know what else I can say about it, but they continue on with bringing a link saying Donald J. Trump cannot be president. He's a danger to democracy. He's a danger to all of us. So did they activate? Did they inspire a nut job like this guy who's a career criminal, quite frankly? In my opinion, yes. Convictions going back to 2002, including, you know, hours long, standoffs, weapons of mass destruction, you know, holding or possessing weapons of mass destruction, et cetera. So, you know, this guy was essentially according to, you know, officials there kind of a taking time bomb. Are they basically triggering people like this? And should they tamp down the rhetoric? And I would just say not just against Trump, but what about thinking about even going back to Biden here in Philadelphia with those mega deplorables that sort of rhetoric about how evil Trump's supporters are? And so am I safe? Are you safe? Are we safe going to a Trump rally or being a Republican? Right. You're right. To me, I just think it's so clear, and I don't know why the FCC quite frankly isn't called in to look at some of these ads. Should we be? Should everybody be just cooling things off with the rhetoric and calling Trump and Trump's supporters dangerous? Let us not forget. When we talk about Jay 13th, you're in Butler, Pennsylvania. Think about Corey compared a tour who was killed that day. Yep. You're right. You're absolutely right. Although I think the answer is after almost nine years and with 50 some days to go, my guess is no, it will not be cooled down because they've had ample opportunity to do so. And what do they do? They send like a 48 hour verbal cease fire and then get right back to the same rhetoric. And we'll be back to that by Tuesday or Wednesday. 8 5 5 8 3 9 12 10. We'll come back put a bow on the six o'clock hour. Your calls. Welcome. If you would like to join the show 8 5 5 8 3 9 12 10. It's Kaitlyn company on a Monday on talk radio 12 10 W P H K. You think that the rhetoric is for sure. I mean, ever since I've been alive, I'm 59. I remember to say Reagan, but after that, every Republican has been a racist, has been a bigot and has only walked out for the wealthy. So that's been no matter who it is. They love the bushes now. Hell, they even love the chain. Remember them? They were more hit larry in the Trump at the time. So everybody is now Hitler. And so, of course, you're going to have lunatics acting upon it, but you're not getting any backup, or you're not getting any fight from the mainstream media because they use the same exact terminology. Not absolutely correct. Very difficult. And and why they hate Donald Trump is because they thought he was one of them. They loved his money. They loved his, you know, his society. They loved all that. And then when he decided to run, they thought it was a joke. And then he started to pick up traction. And he picked up traction from the middle of the country where they hate the most because they don't follow the rules supposedly if you look at the Democrat way. So yeah, it's nutty. No, you're right. And you're right. They use the same verbiage. They use the same verbiage, Greg. You ever put on the mainstream media and you listen to a Democrat in front of a microphone after something in the house or in the Senate or during an interview, they all talk the same. It's like they all have the same bullet points. Copy it and paste it. They're like, there's like this massive email list that goes out. I swear, I got to get on that email list and just see how they come up with all of this. But one last thing I'll wrap up with this Florida governor Ron DeSantis tweeting yesterday that the state of Florida will be conducting its own investigation regarding the attempted assassination at Trump International Golf Club. The people deserve the truth about the would be assassin and how he was able to get within 500 yards of the former president and the current current GOP nominee. I think that goes back to what Don and I were talking about earlier with the FBI and all these other agencies. How can you trust their own investigation when they themselves have been going after him for now multiple years? 855-839-1210. We'll come back and get some news to kick off hour number two. And then what is going on within the Harris campaign when it comes to internal polling within our own state of Pennsylvania? Details after this hour two is next.
