So we do have some developing stories right now and that is a dive team is headed to or just arriving at the for the third time in a month I might add where you have a vehicle that has gone into the Schuylkill River. And so this is off of Kelly Drive. Remember we had told you about what was it? Late August there were two situations. One of them was remember Mercedes Benz backing up, backing into the river that one happened and they never found that driver by the way from the Mercedes. And then there was another one where they said that a vehicle accidentally shifted into gear that it went into the Schuylkill River. This was also late August Kelly Drive right near Strawberry Mansion Bridge in Fairmount Park. So those were the first two ones within the last just a couple of weeks ago. But this one we there was a witness called 911 saw this pickup truck heard something then saw the pickup truck go into the river. So we don't know is this an accident is this on purpose because it obviously the Mercedes that backed in where we didn't find the driver that one was on purpose. Yeah I was going to say and wasn't that the claim from firsthand knowledge that there was somebody in the driver's seat backing in. There was there was a witness to it and so they never found the body. They said they never found a body the driver that was weird. That's the update on that as now the dive team heads for the Schuylkill to hopefully as as of right now they've they don't have a rescue reported. So we have that one going on 17 year old shot in Philadelphia that was I believe North Philadelphia this morning and then we have last night a teenager shot a 15 year old reported to be shot and injured near Temple University North Philadelphia four o'clock in the afternoon 1400 block of Cecil B Moore have 15 year old found at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound to his hip. So he was right there rushed to Temple University Hospital where he's listed in critical condition. But I will say Temple University Hospital those emergency department doctors are like war room like a like a what would you say a war or combat zone type emergency room physician right where they're amazing at saving lives. Well how many times do the police officers have to bring them directly there because there's no time to wait for you know the medics. Oh that's a great point. That's so true. I don't know if that's the case in this one. We know that for the 15 year old he's a student with the school district of Philadelphia. So presumably left school this happened at 15 year old left school and this situation happened the suspected shooter appeared to be of the similar a similar age as the victim and took off lead onto the subway. So as I always say no word yet is to a motive. We don't have a suspect in custody. We don't have the firearm that was used. It's the same story that I give you every morning. It's just target practice going awry. That's all it is. We have I will say before I get to all the road closures that are pending today because it affects everybody and remember there's a Phil's game tonight so a lot of traffic this evening so we'll get to that. But as far as the Johnny Matthew Goudreau the commemoration the memorial that happened in media Pennsylvania yesterday at noon just a heart-wrenching story for this family as we learned that NHL star Johnny Goudreau that his wife Meredith announced at the commemoration she's pregnant with their third child and Johnny's brother Maddie his wife as you know she's pregnant with their first child and so just not a dry eye in the place as so many gathered in media Pennsylvania to you know for for a Catholic service to remember them to honor their lives to celebrate their lives. I actually saw Johnny Goudreau play in Nashville in 2019 yeah when they came down to play the Predators and it was a good player. Well a good player and what you hear from everybody by all accounts our Henry Machette said his dad met him you know you keep hearing that people saying yeah I met him back when so so everybody has a good story yeah hockey players are really good dudes they're fun they're fun people to be around party animals still they're wild men oh my goodness so we will we will get to all the rest of the day's news as far as this historic debate between Vice President Kamala Harris for former president Donald J. Trump but I'll just focus right now on the security on high alert obviously at Philadelphia's National Constitution Center of the debate tonight aired on ABC News and it looks like everybody's pretty much going to be streaming and 1210 WPC thank you very much so we'll stream it here and that's always a fun exercise if you are watching it visually but you listen to it yep that I love doing that during a debate so now let me ask just because I'm guessing the audience might have the same question are we getting the television yes okay now it's not like a radio no radio announcer like that like Westwood one no okay but when you listen to it as opposed to watching it sometimes you'll have a different take oh and so and that goes back to you know journals and class and sure talking about the famous the first televised presidential debate which of course Nixon Kennedy because you can't see body language right yeah can't see anybody sweat can't see their nervous quiver of their lip or whatever all right so here's what you do you turn off your televisions in your house tonight you turn the lights off you light a few candles you have a cup of coffee or a cocktail and you fire up the Odyssey app on your phone thank you there you go yep yep everybody listen to it on 1210 WPC theater of the mind yep like fireside chats I believe I believe Dom Giordano will be in the spin room afterwards so hopefully we'll get some sound from Dom because he used his contacts to get in there okay fantastic yeah well what what a day is if you're going anywhere from Center City to South Philadelphia between the Constitution Center and Citizens Bank Park good luck today well that's just it after at some point this morning and there they keep saying there are these watch out there are these rolling road closures rolling so we've been getting alerts since I mean I think it started overnight that in fact they're going to start these rolling closures and at some point this morning and I don't know the exact time they're going to shut down the entrance where you would take the exit there to the Constitution Center off the eastbound Vine Street Expressway in 676 yep when they shut that down obviously that's going to affect eastbound traffic this morning yep and throughout the day then these rolling closures between 8 and 10 p.m. obviously you know leading up to the debate after the debate we're going to have the Ben Franklin Bridge that will be there will be rolling closures and shutdowns on the bridge just stay away from that area yeah yeah just stay I'm just going to stay in Montgomery County and just stay held with that area yeah and that really brings me to our Philadelphia Phillies because game time is 640 yeah so you know we'll think about that I want to say legendary actor James Earl Jones yes has died 93 years young his family said he died peacefully at home saw that you know Darth Vader was Darth Vader yeah oh so I heard that this one I said all and I did not know that as a young child he overcame a speech impediment yeah started right which is yes yeah from Darth Vader to I think he was in three different seasons of the Simpsons as a voice he was also in if you remember the Disney movie the baseball movie the sandlot he was the guy on the other side of the fence with the big dog that gobbles up the baseball yeah yeah yeah this legendary actor iconic really and so you know we're seeing that on social media this morning fans paying tribute to him 93 I mean that's a good that's a good run yeah it's gonna be about 33 years longer than I get so I talked about our Phillies wow what a first of all weather wise gorgeous night last night but our Phillies beat the Rays two to one and what an exciting end as you know we had what buddy Kennedy who's a local local guy and everybody cheering buddy and then Cody Cody and Cody Cody Cody I mean just a riveting energized night last night for a Philadelphia Phillies but we we won two to one so there was a little discrepancy did you see the Bryce Harper situation no but I saw people tweeting what so what happened so he hit a he hit a long shot that look like it was gonna be out of there okay it wasn't and he kind of dogged it to first base oh boy and everybody saying that he could have gotten to out of it okay if he would have hustled instead of admiring his yeah his shot they did a two shot with a topper and you could see you could see his you could see his disgust on a face uh-huh but I remember that happened in the Rollins years ago and Boa chewed him out for it yeah yeah I mean they should like your job is to hustle yeah you know what I mean I agree just because you're on top doesn't mean uh you sit there and uh and look at the scoreboard that's right right Nick Kale right or stare at the clock or or or spike the football that's correct right yep nope you know things can change in an instant I know you know that it be a humble soldier yeah humble humble Bryce Harper did according to Rob Thompson he did apologize he said he was sorry and he apologized alright to the team huh so there he's you know he's still injured yeah injured don't make any excuses I've never I've never seen a woman just makes so many excuses for so many different men I'd like to be a grown man named by the name of buddy I'd kill my parents if they named me buddy he was cute though he was he just they asked him about it afterwards he was psyched and when the home crowd is cheering your name yeah he just you know was savoring the moment said he'll he'll remember that for the rest of his life oh for sure yeah yeah so the forecast today lovely forecast 82 degrees and sunny today much of the same tomorrow 83 degrees Thursday 85 Friday 84 the weekend wow I mean if you're sneaking away to the shore 87 for Saturday and 86 for Sunday it's one of those all these people are just like full it's full no it is still summer yes it's still summer till the 21st yeah 11 days ago thank you yeah thank you although I'll tell you last night we had the windows open and the ceiling fans going I got to the point right to kill the ceiling fans it was in a little too chilly for me really yeah did you celebrate the twins 10 year old yeah yeah we did a whole bunch of stuff it's like it's like it's like birthday month and we've got the the actual birthday party coming up this Saturday afternoon I'm like that they're celebrating for like four straight weeks like it's one day that's right down rages the birthday month oh then they got the then my daughter took one extra invite in the class for one girl that wasn't all my wife's list and it was like World War two and I'm like can we just get this facade over with this is why I don't do parties just wait other teenagers David says can I have some buddies over and can you and dad go upstairs we can watch you know MMA or whatever and you think you could get the spring dance hot tub converted to salt water by Saturday yeah sure I've got nothing else on my docket yeah I got nothing else to do right nothing happy yeah yeah that's good and well I just go down to the Atlantic Ocean and scoop up some salt water all right pal there's your edition of Kailen Company News Live this big Tuesday morning all right on thank you very much 617 let's get to a Tuesday big take the big take on Kailen Company and it is brought to you by American Heritage Credit Union it is debate night in Philadelphia we've made it the first unlikely only debate for the 2024 presidential election has arrived and it's right here in our backyard the election will likely come down to who wins Pennsylvania so it's only fitting that Donald Trump and Kamala Harris face off tonight in Philadelphia and as of Saturday July 20 2024 Donald Trump was supposed to square off against Joe Biden that was until he KO'd one half of the Biden Harris administration on the night of June 27th in Atlanta Georgia now Donald Trump will get the opportunity to finish off the other half of this administration the debate will begin at 9 o'clock you can hear it right here on talk radio 1210 WPH T you can watch it on ABC News simulcast it on Fox News and every other channel under the Sun it'll be moderated by David Muir of more world news tonight and ABC News Live anchor Lindsey Davis the National Constitution Center will be the setting the microphones they'll be muted which is what Trump and Biden agreed to meanwhile it's Kamala Harris who wanted the mics to be hot the entire time and Trump won the coin toss and he will give the closing statement on tonight's festivities Trump and Harris will have two minutes for a closing statement they will have two minutes to answer questions two minutes for rebuttals and an extra minute for follow-ups or clarifications of course ABC News the only network that Kamala agreed to and that might be because of the positive coverage they give her according to news busters ABC's coverage of Kamala is 100% positive with 93% of their coverage of Trump being 93% negative it is the most pro-Harris anti-Trump evening newscast in the United States of America that data courtesy of media research center the study revealed MRC analysts reviewed all 100 campaign stories that aired on ABC's world news tonight from the day Harris entered the race which is July 21st through September 6th and that includes weekends our analysts found 25 clearly positive statements about Harris from reporters anchors voters or other nonpartisan sources with zero negative statements none that computes to a gravity-defying 100% positive spin score for the vice president as for Trump their analysts found just five clearly positive comments compared to 66 negative statements for a dismal 7% positive or 93% negative spin score but you know what that's just fine Trump put Biden into retirement during his CNN debate and that's hardly a pro-Trump environment my advice for Donald Trump tonight is simple you've already done seven presidential debates you just ended Joe Biden's career seven weeks ago you've thrived with muted microphones simply put run it back laser focus clear and concise speak to the American public on what you will do for them make it about the people no time for revenge no time for redemption success will be the ultimate payback give your vision explain your policy and tell Americans that you will fix the errors of the Biden-Harris administration don't use nicknames don't talk about her race don't mention anything about DEI and tell America that you have been unlike her the most transparent and openly available president in American history as your opponent hides because she has no platform to run on Crusher on her communist and copycat policies on the economy Crusher on the flip-flopping Crusher on being the most liberal senator of all time in fact she's so liberal and progressive that she knows she can't win by running on that kind of platform and even left-wing madman Bernie Sanders knows it here was Bernie on NBC unknowingly ripping Kamala Harris as a fraud while NBC's meet the press listen and watch Kamala Harris as a progressive she has previously supported Medicare for all now she does not she's previously supported a ban on fracking now she does not these senator are ideas that you have campaigned on do you think that she is abandoning her progressive ideals no i don't think she's abanding her ideals i think she's trying to be pragmatic and doing what she thinks is right in order to win the election well she's not abandoning them she's just going to tell you she will do a to get elected and then probably implement b once elected translation that makes you a fraud and a liar and speaking of the flip-flopping Axios has laid out Harris's nine policy reversals that include banning plastic straws now she's against that ev mandates by 2035 as of now her campaign won't comment on that banning fracking she's against that now mandatory buyback programs for assault weapons she claims to be against that now decriminalizing crossing the border she no longer supports it reparations for slavery that position according to Axios is unclear now building a border wall now now supports it as part of a bipartisan bill federal jobs guarantee she's nixed that Medicare for all she's backed off of that as bernie stated and it's clear what Harris has been doing she's running on female reproductive rights and hoping that trump derangement syndrome will carry her across the finish line to victory but she's more concerned about defining Donald Trump a certain way than she is defining herself and that could very well be a fatal flaw here was the binder yesterday on that subject listen and watch 31 percent of registered voters said in a near-time Santa Paul they still need to learn more about vice president Harris so why is she spending so much time trying to define trump and link him to project 2025 rather than define herself i mean look those questions obviously those are campaign questions you would have to ask the campaign uh and that is for them to to speak to uh and what i will say is um what i can say is that as far as contrast the contrast can't be more clear couldn't be more clear well thank you very much for clearing that up uh chlorine i appreciate your time it's amazing one third of american voters don't know her i actually think that number is low i bet closer to 50 percent of american voters can't say a word about her what she's done what she's failed to do or what she stands for the washington post with the following headline trump can knock Harris out of the race in one debate here's how mark thies and writes the following remind swing voters of what they like about him that being his policies don't remind swing voters of what they don't like about him make harris the incumbent and tie her to joe biden and make harris own her record i agree whole tried to show that kamala's got a little feistiness as well although a lot of headlines out there today saying kamala's combative debate style will get the ultimate test against donald trump why well she's not debating pushovers like mike pence remember this listen and watch mr vice president i'm speaking i have i'm speaking mr vice president i'm speaking well i'm speaking be important as you said the truth yes vice president i'm speaking i'm speaking okay if you don't mind letting me finish we can then have a conversation okay please okay it's fine answer you know people deserve a straight answer i will not sit here and be lectured by the vice president there she is but we won't get that tonight because the microphones will be muted but i still contend and argue that unmuted microphones against donald trump wouldn't help her trump is not mike pence donald trump is a different political animal he's a different personality he's absolutely a type a so what does the final prep look like as game-time approaches well trump he's being advised by tulsi gabbard who as we know about five years ago had a great beatdown of kamala harris on the debate stage as well as getting help from gop allies quote for the first time people are really going to get to see her and whether she can stand on her own two feet that is ari flicher a white house press secretary under gw bush flicher's advice for trump is simple quote hit her on policy just like you did to biden in the first debate that was a disciplined tough policy oriented donald trump i would love to see the same donald trump against kamala harris and quote meanwhile kamala harris she's in a hotel room studying tape here's the latest from cnn listen and watch this she has closely studied the former president's past six debate performances she's also been sort of entrenched in these briefing papers going over the former president's past comments as well as the ways that he has insulted her so she can be prepared to respond to that she's engaged in these mock debates with a stand-in for the former president and she's had conversations with hillary clinton and president biden who both extensively i have a knowledge of debating the former president but the reality is this i'm going to give you a football analogy this is like having the dummy offense trying to run your opponents playbook in preparation for the game on sunday it's never quite the same you can't recreate the speed the on field game conditions or the personnel you will face for 60 minutes it's also like that professor that you might have had in grad school or law school who told you you know for all the students in undergrad who got a's because they can memorize their notes i'm here to tell you that won't work on my exams and that's precisely why i think Kamala Harris will lose tonight's debate she can't think on her feet she's not going to be able to feed off of energy and high-fiving people and having timmy walls running around like chris farley and i think as we go to bed late tonight i believe regardless of what the spin comes from the media in post-game coverage and tomorrow on cable news i think we're going to walk away knowing that donald trump won the debate but you know what he doesn't need to KO Kamala like he did joe he just needs the judges to score the decision in his favor the KO comes on november 5th and that's the big take the big take on killing company all right big take this morning is brought to you by american heritage credit union if you are buying a home with the my u uh my cu home connection program through american come back get some thoughts on tonight's debate and then also what Kamala Harris needs to do to distance herself from the big guy as well as have you been checking your website just yesterday policies have officially been posted on the website kamala harris.com what do they include yeah we'll give you those as well scale and company back after this on a tuesday talk radio 1210 wpht it's killing company on demand from talk radio 1210 wpht and the free honesty app don stencil when you think about the debate tonight here in philadelphia and i know you and i will be watching this uh intently uh you know clinging to every single syllable and mannerism and grating it from how trump did to a how kamala did perspective to was abc fair and partisan uh you know let's do a little keys to victory we'll be like a hokey uh you know nfl pregame show what would you say is the key to a good debate night for donald trump and then also conversely what do you think the key for kamala harris um coming out of there in one piece for donald trump i would say he just needs to remind viewers maybe viewers who get their news from biased or media or twitter which they should listen to greg stock or don't get your news from can we stop getting our news twitter so for donald j trump you know on things like you know bring up the insulin issue he should bring up that that was something that was important to him that he talked a lot about for donald j trump he should talk about the fact that you know his it's his tax cuts that are in jeopardy of going away in 2025 he's the one who cut those taxes so he needs to you know try to professionally explain that that you know what what we're talking about the these are these were my plans these were my tax cuts that i believe in and here are the details and he needs to detail it i think you know one of the things that that i hope he does and some of his his campaign they've told me that he'll try to be more hopeful and so i think that's important as well that he doesn't come across as irked by by you know the fact that in many ways she's copycatting a lot of the policies that have been popular for him that he created but rather for him to say hey i'm running against an incumbent somebody who's in office who could do this right now today correct and i want to bring back the american dream i want to make sure that we can bring down inflation fix the economy i know how to do this i'm a proven winner but to say it in a more hopeful positive energy way right you know and i also think it's and you heard some of the clips there that we played in the big take with you know debate prep for chamala and we've heard about these columns about kamala is going to try to rattle trump and hillary has told chamala that trump can be rattled and he can be shaken and you you're going to want to try to get under his skin and we know the at least the theory is she wanted the microphones unmuted so she could have that mic pence moment of excuse me it's my time sir please be quiet and she's not going to get that with the muted microphones but i would advise donald trump don't take the bait don't don't get don't play into her trap of because if she's trying to memorize these little catchy zingers and aha gotcha see i'm a woman of strength moments don't play into it if she goes for one of those memorized jabs i would just brush it off i wouldn't even give it any oxygen because if you stay super focused i guarantee you there will be post-game analysis that says donald trump was laser focused he was dialed in kamala harris tried to have the mic pence moment and trump wasn't having any of it he stayed locked in on the economy or immigration or wars or whatever the subject matter is for that two-minute period after a question so i i think she actually wants to kind of get it kind of muddy and in the muck and you know what's her uh verbiage she's been using i know guys like donald trump i know fraudsters i've dealt with those guys my whole life as a prosecutor so i think she's playing into what she believes her strength is but if you don't take the bait she'll never get a chance to really put that on display so to your point and when she talks about joy and hope and change you don't even really need well the change part it's you could certainly hit her back with well you've had three years and ten months while having a change and do it today right right and do it today but like if you talk about the joy and the hope if you're trump you say well i i would say it was you know pretty joyous to have gas at a dollar 87 i would say it was pretty joyous to have and you know illustrate the strengths of your economy and how things were for the first three years and paint that with a joyous and hopeful uh lens so to speak i i i really think you can if you don't take her bait tonight in certain moments i think she's going to have like these awkward pauses where she was waiting for the the feisty i can't bite my tongue guy to come lashing out at her and if he doesn't give her that pleasure i think it kind of blows up in her face a little bit yeah i think we've seen so post butler pennsylvania when there was an attempt to assassinate dahl jay trump he had to me that was i see a change in him and i really think i mean think about what he's been through he has been you know they've persecuted him they've convicted him they've dragged him through every court uh he's really he's been through it they try you know he he just survived by a sliver literally an assassination attempt i mean everything that you could you know they've tried to take his business away from me left new york i mean everything that's happened to him so i think he just in many ways he's been through it he's so battle tested and what i and i will say this even during the debate with biden one of his best lines was was just sort of when they when they addressed him it wasn't like a oh like a like a power play he casually said i i really don't even know what he just said well and you can do that with kamala because if she worked salads it you just copy and paste what you said on june 27 yeah so it didn't come off at that point i liked that style yep because it did not come off as oh i've memorized if i've been waiting for this big moment that's not what it was it came off it's just like under his breath just sort of like i don't even know what he said it was sort of funny but he did not laugh just by the way reagan ask against the reagan thing so if he embodies all of that i think he will do well but no matter what he does yeah i mean it no matter what he does they will say kamala won they will they will praise her and well that she's the first this that's my question is how how much how how many people do you think you're gonna be watching this debate so intensely and hearing the back and forth and really making up their own minds or are going to be swayed by what lines the news articles say what the talking heads say what twitter says yeah what facebook says that's the problem with this is that it doesn't what happens on the debate is kind of irrelevant irrelevant as to how people spin it afterwards you're you're right and to the to the extent of let's just say you didn't watch it tonight and you didn't watch clips but whatever little ecosphere you live in you'll run with that the next day at the water cooler at the office right like if you just regurgitate uh conservative influencers on x trump don't thong kamala and he might he might very well do that i mean that's certainly up a more plausible outcome and a more realistic outcome than kamala don't thong trump but depending on where you get your news i mean if you read the new york times where the washington post kamala holds her own in combative debate showing she's more than ready to step into the number one chair you can see and i think we got a tweet yesterday this was either i think from richard nataro or old man Dudley one of them sent me a tweet saying they already have the columns written on what the headline will be it'll just be a matter of inserting the quote it was rich hit pace and hit send right yep is rich nataro yes i just think you know that and that's the problem here and to me you know look you may not like hillary clinton but hillary clinton was secretary of state she was she had been in the white house she had been around a long time nobody said oh she's not qualified for this job many people said at the time as far as her credentials her resume but so it's not a woman thing at all that i'm saying here but my goodness have we ever seen anybody who has this this platform uh to be promoted right now to and to be poised perhaps to be the next president of the united states i don't think this country has had anybody who has who is truly more unqualified yeah you are correct i mean it just boggles my mind that anybody takes this seriously yeah i agree this individual is not qualified just never run anything has has where where is her resume or her experience level i just don't see it and clearly we know that because democrats didn't even choose her she wasn't even a top choice she was on the verge of being replaced as the veep yeah now she's qualified to be the the number one to your point qualifications and um candidacy and career accomplishments stacking commala up against hillary is like putting the freshman football team up against the varsity i mean it's honestly not even close i mean to your point yes i mean hillary was quote qualified she just couldn't stake shake the the the stench that that came along with the clinton name because everybody knew she was corrupt and attached a bill and they were sick of it and they wanted something different and the timing of trump made sense but my god could you imagine if comalo if let's just replace hillary and insert commala as we know her today could you imagine what trump would have done to her in 2016 if it was trump and commala eight years ago it would have been an even bigger landslide and that's why they have to go with talking about oh this is a woman he's going to be a bully he's going to be sexist this morning i as i monitor all the different local media they're actually local media stations airing stories interviewing different women's groups and different advocacy and policy women's groups and they're saying oh well we're just watching for you know how how she is perceived and how he may say things that are sexist and bully her and i'm like first of all as a woman i find that highly insulting because you put me in a debate against anybody i don't care man woman child i'm going to go toe to toe i'm going to prepare i'm going to do well and so to say to start looking at her ethnicity or her gender or whatever that is that diminishes any any of those groups that diminish that's basically saying well because you are fill in the blank you really cannot go toe to toe with you know a man or a white man yeah and and so we're just going to make all these excuses for you no no no no that nobody should say that that's the opposite of what should happen yeah and so they diminish that's to me i find that so disrespectful i just love how everybody's well you got to be courteous and respectful she is a female after all you think g or Putin are going to be mindful of Kamala Harris's gender when we get on the precipice of world war three you think you think russia you think china is going to go light on america because the president's a female zero chance in hell but i know the way it works so you know trump trump gets too combative it's oh he's trying to intimidate a female this is a debate for the presidency of the united states okay not tenth grade class president thank you and with joe biden a female was uh jeb bush marco rubio Cruz i mean name all the with a all females yeah no he he believed me he will he spoke much harsh he he was very harsh with all of them i'm sure that he will take a little bit of a different tone but i will say part of it is post butler pennsylvania assassination attempt yep eight five five eight three nine twelve ten coming up next we'll wrap up up the six o'clock hour liberal columnist for new york magazine says kamala should throw joe under the bus killing company back after this this is the kaolin company podcast from dark radio twelve ten w p d and on the free odyssey app jonathan chate a liberal columnist for new york magazine throws kamala harris under the bus saying you need to throw joe biden under the bus under the headline kamala harris should cut joe biden loose chate summed up a new york times report about the harris campaign struggling to balance her considerable connection to the by an harris administration as well as her personal loyalty to the president with his unpopularity before asking why is this even a struggle for kamala harris why not directly repudiate unpopular biden positions they go on to right rather than trying to balance loyalty to biden against catering to the desires of the electorate harris's strategy should focus entirely on catering to the public with no attention whatsoever to biden's feelings there is no rule requiring harris to own every action biden has taken quote she can even say that she has disagreed with him her role as vice president was to give the president candidate vice in private and support him in public but now that she is running for his job she can advocate her own ideas they continue quote exactly why biden has proven so toxic has confounded democrats i sympathize with their bewilderment at this point alas public opinion is what it is and i feel the democrats have allowed their sentiment that biden has gotten an unfair wrap to cloud their judgment miss harris and her advisors are girding for a variety of debate attacks including over her ties to mr biden i actually agree with that from the standpoint of your kamala harris joe biden's got about 95 days or a hundred days left in office technically he's been on vacation basically since the fourth of july why not just back the bus over him distance yourself completely from him keep this in mind we played you that clip 31 percent of voters don't know anything about kamala harris and slacker i think you've been saying for a while that you actually think that number is significantly higher you think most people don't know anything about her a hundred percent so at this point in politics being what it is and you stab people in the back and you know there's no loyalty i i mean i would back the electric school bus over joe i would back the gas powered school bus over joe i i i would back the little short bus over joe all of this all bit yeah hey just i mean enough with joe biden not going to do that though there's too much political uh there's too too many consequences if you think so yet i do i mean because polosi's already body bagged them as well yeah but they they body bag them and then they you know give them a kiss on the cheek and then they say he belongs on that rush more a hundred percent so i think that there she has there's too much to lose if she does that yeah i understand what jonathan jade is saying but i don't think that she's ever going to do it i mean i would but i would back the septa bus over her public transportation mass transit i mean not even close at this point but as you'll see when we come back to kick off hour number two after dawn's news she can't do that if she's got a steel joe's policy and verbiage so we'll get to that as the official campaign website is up and by the way kamala harris texted my daughters last night uh oh yeah my boy we'll read that text as well as we continue our number two dawn's news is next scaling company talk radio twelve ten wphd start your day with killing company weekday morning six till ten i'm talk radio twelve ten wphd and the free odyssey app we will have the tyree kill body cam footage and that'll be coming up probably within the next 20 to 25 minutes before we get to the cut sheet we'll get to kamala's campaign website and the policies that were finally posted after 50 days i'm guessing they were like you know what we've got a debate coming up against on trump tonight if we're going to post anything now feels like the right time to do it but let's get to the news before we get to all of that round number two at seven oh three the great dawn stenciland and good morning we are sponsored this Tuesday debate day we are sponsored in the news by natural lands let's get to it as we talk about the developing news of the day this morning we know that um fill it off there are first responders and crews who are on the scene of a car that plunged into the scootle river police say a jeep is submerged in the river right off kelly drive near ruey hill drive thought off you please call in the dive team no word yet if anybody was rescued or recovered this is at least the third time in the past month that a vehicle went into the scootle river off kelly drive so police reportedly never found the driver of that mercedes bends that was seen backing into the river early out in the early hours of one morning in late august and then a few weeks ago a range rover rolled into the river right near the strawberry mansion bridge in fairmount park in that situation the couple inside was not hurt police say the couple they later admitted that they were making out and most of accidentally shifted the vehicle into gear and didn't realize it was slowly rolling into the river i guess they thought the earth was moving yeah amid all that passion imagine you're in a range rover what by the way what's up with all these luxury vehicles going in yeah or sadies range rover i hope they weren't cheap today i hope they weren't from the piaza auto broops geez you're pumping and grinding and next thing you know you're submerged in water oh my goodness that boy so uh police on the scene of that one and of course the big story in philadelphia that is making international and national news it's billed as an historic night in philadelphia the current vice president of the united states Kamala harris and former president's ontology trump will meet for the first time for perhaps perhaps the only debate high pressure opportunity to showcase uh what they've got to offer in this job interview if you will in tonight's debate and so nine p.m. eastern philadelphia offering americans to watch get some details and we'll talk about it tomorrow morning obviously we'll it will be you know aired and it will be hosted by abc news but of course we here talk radio 12 10 w p h t it will be streamed yeah so you'll be able to see it and it'll be on youtube right is that right greg i mean i don't argue too but it'll be on somewhere okay yeah abc you'll probably stream and all the digitally yeah i get a wonder too if you think about these last uh few elections what trump and hillary had three or four debates joe and trump had two they were originally scheduled for three but then there was the covid factor and now we're only going to get one i mean i know we always say hey dad have debates jump the shark i mean they're going they're they're dwindling election cycle by election cycle you know like when we get to 2028 in 2032 what's it gonna look like they're happening less frequently i don't like that well in this one we saw history because it was the earliest presidential debate in our in our entire history of our nation yeah that's true that was in late june yep and think about how think about what has emerged and what has changed since late june until today september 10 true it's mind boggling gun to your gun to your head let's all go on record here do we think we see another debate between trump and kamala after tonight will there be a second debate between there should be oh yeah there should be but there's not going to be i agree i think it's weird that i did not realize that they've never met hey that's true they have never been face to face in any setting so it's like a blind date or something i which i think actually is going to lead to more anxiety from harris i actually really think that the crowd would be beneficial to her i think being out there in that isolated quiet soundproof studio could lead to a little uh little indigestion for the veep just a guess yeah i i we you know i can't wait that's why i can't wait because you don't know what you'll see but the problem is what we see while we walk guaranteed it will be different from how it's reported well and think about this what what is the typical whether it's uh scripted or if it's you know a subconscious thing she laughs she giggles you know i mean how many times do we see it in public settings who's she going to be able to laugh with tonight and giggle with it's it's her it's trump it's two moderators and some camera people that's it i think that makes her uncomfortable i really do yeah i i agree so will so that's just it because when you watch it when you experience it i think that there are those intangibles that matter yep and that's why tonight does matter just a little nugget effect nugget for you because this was a jobs report that came out on friday last friday and it really shows a picture and these things are always lee are always put that out there on friday but but the bureau of labor statistics bls the data was released last friday talking about the number of part-time jobs rising to five hundred and twenty seven thousand um in august and so the Biden administration put out that hey they've created all these jobs when you look at it though year-to-year we as americans in the united states have lost one point zero two million full-time jobs of course and so it's a part-time job this is a part-time implore a part-time economy if you will yeah and then employers don't have to give their employees benefits they can keep one to 32 hours the whole bit yeah it's all a root all a ruse so less fewer benefits less over time uh pay that's right lower salaries because it's not really a salary it's hourly yep and so that was a number i just wanted to you know push that out there is just a fact nugget mm-hmm this morning because it was something that kind of was not reported widely if i if i ruled the world job reports would have to be released on a tuesday or wednesday i know it would be no friday dumps no well maybe it'll be now our since greg stalker loves tuesday as he says we should all i'll try to always look for a jobs reporter and economic report for tuesday yeah yeah the dawn stems when tuesday job report correction it's a sponsorable segment let's get that to sales a set amen brothers uh going viral this is a story that's going viral that i'll just headline for you there are many reports about um ohio and what's going on in ohio allegedly now greg stalker said this is all fake news but it is blowing up on twitter for the past twenty three hours reporting a fake story because it's it's actually news it news to who who's it news to well because there are okay first of all the story is allegedly i don't even know what the story is there are individuals in ohio i am proud of you for saying there are there are individuals in ohio who are allegedly uh killing anything from ducks that are like wild ducks or birds or people's pets such as cats and allegedly they are uh immigrants they're Haitian immigrants that's the alleged fake fake news story here so let's report it okay so but there are then the but the reaction to it there are legit news sites in and one in particular in ohio that put out a picture of seagulls and then chicken and said for all you racists uh americans eat birds such as chicken so what's the difference between a apparently a duck or a seagull okay uh well to answer that specific question i mean i'd never had a seagull i've had rabbit because it's illegal oh okay it's illegal like down the jersey sure that's why they have to have birds of for a prey like falcons well how would seagulls get to ohio that's i have no idea i have no idea to greg's point okay it is that one of the craziest stories i've ever seen so it's probably crazy because it's not true so it so it's a it's a video so it's a video so is it a video of a migrant doing something to uh okay i don't have any evidence okay there are people who claim they've seen it there are residents of ohio that are all upset about it there are cat lovers now all over the internet talking about it but it is one of those situations that it's important to watch well you know what this is totally concocted yeah but what what you need to watch are those so-called legit news organizations and ohio stations are covering it and print media is covering it and so it's important to look at how something like this starts yeah and then how it's reported upon well now you got my brain working here you said cats in ohio i mean this is a golden opportunity for jadie vance to redeem himself with the childless cat ladies or jadie vance has already discussed it or talking about everything so it's you know he's he's all over the the uh oh so he took the bait on the fake story too uh of course of course because we're a stupid society i'm telling you it's one of the nuttiest stories i've ever seen well it's a case study for journalists to look at and if you're if you're if somebody is just starting out in the business it's important to look at that and to and to look at the origins of it and look at the way it's being reported okay right because it's okay to report it as as a happening as as in a newscast it's okay as long as you did it get community noted on on x because i i i this is the first i'm hearing of any of this that i don't see that it was community noted and that's interesting too okay but well it can't be community noted because elon musk is also oh oh oh okay yeah all right i don't know that he's put i mean i'm just no he is he treated about it but i'm but i'm yourself i always watch these things and i'm gonna so this one uh for this one there are conservatives going out saying this is terrible such as that so whether it's conservatives or liberals or whoever it is i'm always going to just say it okay but i personally do not have any confirmation from any authorities or police at a local level who've said we are investigating this we found dead animal or whatever all right i'm done with this dumb story i want to know what what happened here with so apparently the stream went down the youtube stream went down now it's back up okay so if you're listening on the odyssey app and you were you were on youtube we are um we are back up on youtube youtube.com/x. because i was talking about the crazy yeah pussy cat story youtube flagged you for reporting fake news maybe but i reported it as potential fake news i got you so that's important too all right uh what is what is true is that the four person Polaris dawn mission launched early this morning with the goal of making some space flight history so Polaris dawn which aims to conduct the first ever private spacewalk lifted off atop the space x falcon 9 rocket today 5 23 a.m. from a historic launch complex that this is nasa's kennedy space center pretty cool yeah and uh hosting hosted most of nasa's apala moon launches where the last crewed missions to fly as far as the Polaris dawn astronauts will travel so these are these are private individuals including a billionaire i don't know it's it's a pretty cool story that they're you know it's a manned space mission would you ever want to go into space absolutely if i offered the opportunity yes really i'm i'm terrified of heights and everything like that so i just i couldn't do it but um i know there's some people out there that find that interesting i can't do it no i would love it i can do airplanes i can do airplanes i can't do roller coasters and i'm not doing space shuttles i think it's amazing in my we were talking about it last night my son said why do we what what is this why is it that they're going to mars and seeing if we could ever live on another planet i said well um it could be a plan b you know things that don't go well here yeah i know people are so they're infatuated with life on other planets i i'm still trying to figure out what what makes people tick on this planet i feel like i haven't mastered earth yet to worry about mars venus and uranus enough to joke in this so i go so enough of of all of that is it's will watch it will follow it Polaris dawn taking you know safe liftoff this morning responsive like natural lands this morning you know a monarch caterpillar remember that little book for your kids the the hungry caterpillar i do it's 200 times its weight before it transforms into a butterfly and the only plant it eats is milkweed natural lands of ragweed out there for you but they only milkweed yeah i can't find it nobody has it all right so we got that my wife bought an aloe plant speaking of plants by the way get an aloe plant in the house now nice yeah my daughter's always get like these brushburns from dance put a little real authentic aloe on it feels better shoots nice that's good stuff there you go pure and tonight we have our fills so we won we beat the rays pretty exciting last night beating the rays to one facing the rays uh tonight and tomorrow night ranger Suarez on the mound tonight by the way and another gorgeous night for we're in the eighties all week summer like week as we're mid eighties low humidity bright sunshine and then for the weekend warming up to eighty six plus degrees this weekend but that humidity remains low a stunning time of the year kaolin company lose life news life all right don't thank you very much seven eighteen as we continue here on this Tuesday so Kamala Harris has up on the other side i do want to get to the the Tyreke hill body cam footage because i think this is a very fascinating story that we need to pick apart straw by straw so to speak and we will do that and the free honesty app charlie's in philadelphia and he's got a question about dawn charlie you go right ahead yeah she mentioned something about not being able to find a thing about milkweed there's a there's a supplement called milk vessel it's great for your liver i mean i i was drinking real heavy my liver was shot and i took it a month later i took it out retested by blood was fine a doctor couldn't believe it it's called milk vessel t-h-i-s-t-l-e i believe it's spelled i'm taking notes here because you said drinking and liver milk vessel this is right off this call is actually for me i'm just saying it's real good for your liver if you're drinking a lot it's the best thing in the world for you and then it's it's available in like any store right aid or anywhere has milk vessel and the vitamin section dawn if you ever heard of milk vessel no milk thistle milk i was specifically because of the natural lands yep as one of our sponsors they say that for monarch butterflies make sure you have this milkweed which is a flower but nobody has it interesting so i don't know if milk thistle is you know is that something butterflies eat too they've got good uh... livers we know that there you go all right speaking of drinking uh... drinking heavily i think edan del ran probably drinks heavily because of joe biden's policies edan del ran is with us what's going on this morning ed well but listen you gotta listen to nikton and greg because this debate is going to be great it's going to be like fate you're going to pick your four leaf clover when it's over because this woman is going to die bomb big time did you are you reading from a prepared stretch now it's all in my head i rehearsed it while i was on hold because i'm not out the cold all right well i mean you can memorize things just like common looking oh yes i can hey i got one more thing you got to hear and that is that joe biden then i told you this before on the 19th or the 20th will be parting his son that he's got nothing to lose from it the 19th or 20th of of january january 2025 because let me tell you something this woman here is a freaking cook and it's on display for everyone to say and tonight will be no exception yeah i i agree there's no doubt that joe no matter how many times he has said he will not pardon or commute hunter's sentence i mean i i first of all i don't believe him but secondly when you're on your way out the door what what the heck do you care about the public backlash anyway right i mean you're you're going to be 82 years old uh you're going to spend your remaining time hanging out in delaware at the beach um and you're not even paying attention to the news cycle or social media for sure i don't think joe even knows how to use an iphone at this point do you think he cares about what the public perception is of you know pardoning his baby boy so i i totally agree i think he absolutely plans on doing that i wouldn't i mean i know don and greg would pardon their children we've discussed this before if our kids were murderers on the run i would hand my kid in in a heartbeat i'm not protecting them you make that mistake it's on you all right totally gonna he you would absolutely zero chance i would have i i didn't pardon my daughter's last night from the room please wife sent them upstairs i said you're gonna serve your time please you did the time you do the crime you do the time i'm a law and order guy don't but the sheriff law and order guy because your wife disciplined your daughters and you backed her up that's correct she made the arrest i issued the sentence all right but let's get to the tirey kill story i find this to be fascinating this happened on sunday for those of you that are not paying attention this is a very big story probably the second or third biggest story right now i'm behind obviously the debate stuff so sunday uh morning i was i actually watched some of the sunday morning uh news shows and then right around 10 45 or so i put on one of the NFL pre-game shows and then i saw the news come across that the miami dolphins star receiver who used to play for andy reed in kansas city before they traded him tirey kill was uh pulled over in a traffic stop for basically reckless driving and we'll give you the specific charges and the details in just a moment um and he was pretty much right outside of the complex you know where you pull into the public parking lot and where the players go you can see the stadium in the background another beautiful day in south florida the whole bit right so he gets pulled over and then somebody was driving by a um you know just a spectator started to record and then they posted about a 50 second video on social media and i saw this from steven a smith who tweeted look for yourself this is bs totally unnecessary and by the way i know the scottie sheffler incident was in georgia not florida and he was arrested detained booked i also know we don't know all the details blah blah blah that's him actually saying blah blah blah blah but he wasn't faced down on the ground in cuffs then forcibly sat down again by officers a second time now this story isn't going away and it doesn't need to so i saw that and i immediately after watching the video tweeted at steven a smith i said so you admit to not knowing all the details yet you continue to speak ignorantly on the incident based on a 50 second clip on social media you should read your colleague jeff darlington's post before being a race bader perhaps just perhaps hill didn't follow the protocol he didn't listen to the officers etc but that probably won't fit the agenda tomorrow on ms espn to which of course uh steven a smith was community noted because scottie sheffler's incident was not in georgia it was in kentucky which is where the pj championship was we talked about that when scottie sheffler got arrested for basically the same thing driving recklessly not listening to an officer entering your workplace for the day so to speak and then you were dealt with and i knew this what happened this is exactly what happens now jamael hill comes out suggesting that tyreek hill's incident is a warning about the future of america under donald j trump she tweets a reminder that steven ross owner of the miami dolphins is a huge donald trump supporter the same trump who supports giving all police immunity from prosecution do with that what you will so let me get this straight so jamael hill makes it about trump which it's not and then oh by the way when you bring in an nfl owner who's but by the way i would guess this is total spitballing here by me i don't know 25 26 owners out of 32 in the nfl probably republican probably conservative probably trump supporters just a guess i could be slightly off i could be way off but do you really think that steven ross the owner of the miami dolphins who's a trump supporter wants to see his star wide receiver who's probably maybe one of the five best exciting players in the entire sport arrested like that's the conclusion you arrive at you always make it about trump or political or about race so i want to play you the body cam footage because i wanted to wait until the actual officer body cam footage was released to the public not with some numb nuts on social media posted of 50 seconds out of probably a 23 minute altercation and then we'll give you uh some takeaways observations and reactions i watched this last night i got a couple of things to say but let's play it first you can uh watch along on youtube right now youtube.com/@1210 wpht you're you're probably gonna have to narrate a little bit to us okay because the very beginning is is just audio yeah yep there's an i i mean and i believe there's some some expletives it's maybe two and a half three minutes long here is the official body cam footage from miami dade police tickle listen and watch this all right it's behind the big sports car beautiful vehicle it's a nice car yeah it should be for 130 million traffic three mode four motorcycle cops window is down of tirey kill now he's putting his tented window back up the officer was looking around for his back gate keep your window down keep your window down i'm gonna get you out of the car should have kept zero that's a matter of fact get out of the car get out of the car get out of the car right now we're not playing this game get out get out okay the door what are the cops supposed to do get out close them out yeah go what part of the auto cue on this thing down on the ground hey drew a drunk in the rescue drew drew runs in house is tirey kills agent i i'm getting arrested drew i'm getting lost right god that is a twin when we tell you do something you do it you understand you understand never you want but what we tell you i'm gonna do the confused i'm getting out right now i'm confused all right man take this and i'll probably do what you got to do we are we will do it good bro it ain't good angel hey don't worry about it i have not the fool stop crying yo come on come on you know my window like you crayons you said about what y'all beating on my window like y'all crazy stuff yeah yeah yeah oh no oh no yo bro do you know my window like he's crazy i didn't do nothing to win now the other nfl player of the dolphin shows up just see the SUV there it is i'm parked back hey you can see the stadium in the background i mean he's right there basically i just had surgery on my knee i just had surgery on my knee they sit him down on the curb really want to go it's like i just like you're in your ears when we don't know it's surgery on your ears hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey off as we're telling the i think that's an offensive lineman to back up yeah hey man they got taught me the cops over here beating on them they're sitting over here beating on top we're sitting back don't park them man just get a shoot players and what looks like a range rover it's out on the side of the aisle hey get in the car you're parked at the bed of the street look who's the big guy i don't know his name but i would guess he's a lineman who's big boy it's my car all right boom you gotta move right now let me have your license right now your license right now you're not gonna give me your license your license right now hey your license right now or i'm gonna unlock your license right now and this happened right outside the stadium and they originally pulled them over for what reckless driving okay driving is uh you know high-end sports car probably way too wildly well they can't play they can't play the race card because the uh the cops appear to be hispanic i was just going to say both officers are latino uh you have the one officer if you see his hands are completely tattooed i don't know if he is a part of one of those high violence uh police you know gang units or if he's just a patrol officer but he is absolutely a guy that takes no guff and i like that i had a couple of takeaways from from watching that last night first of all failure to comply is not acceptable it is i don't want to be crystal clear for everybody listening and i think most people are listening understand this it is not optional to do what an officer asks amen you roll the window down you get out of the car you provide your id your license your insurance etc if you do what they ask you will be fine yep if you are not mouthy you will be fine now that officer certainly had a mouth but i'm not offended by words nor did he say anything of remotely offensive do what they say and you are good you know law enforcement when you are in that situation with completely darkened out tint tinted windows they have the right to make sure that they as officers are protected from any ill will or sinister intentions you might have that officer has no idea that he's tirey kill that officer has no idea on the other side of tinted windows if you have a gun or a knife in the console and it appears as you said that both officers are Hispanic or latino so the media is not going to be able to say oh the white cop and the black suspect doesn't apply here number three i do think to some extent and it's worth noting that the the tense nature of the officer didn't help the situation i thought it's funny you should have had surgery on your ears um i don't think he necessarily remained calm which might have slightly made it worse but it's really a big nothing burger if i'm being completely honest uh i'm not sure if that is a rookie patrol officer a young pup or you know whatever it is but he's not dealing with any guff and i like that and i like the fact that again when he asked the i what i believe is the offensive lineman i think that's the left tackle for the dolphins but i could be wrong don't quote me on that um he asked multiple times for license this is again this is not optional this is not hey um would you please no no i'm telling you i'm the boss here i want to know who you are and this is not nearly the same story it is because we've now seen this twice in the last two months once as i mentioned with steven a smith bringing up the scottie sheffler arrest so you have a white golfer in luaville right at the entrance of the pga championship and now we see the same exact thing with tirey kill as he enters the dolphins facility on game day in fact i would argue scottie sheffler had it worse because he was actually arrested booked thrown in a whole holding cell and had the stretch in a jail cell and then get released and then he goes out and shoots a 65 like it was no big deal so i i think those are my big takeaways but i also think this is for athletes celebrities musicians actors actresses countless times these people think they are above the law they are not nor should they be oh i have a couple of points first of all um would these officers have acted differently if it was linal messy isn't that his name messy yeah the soccer player yeah i think they would have acted differently and i think they would have treated these um nfl stars differently they're right outside of stadium where they de-escalating and the reason i say all of this is because i'll take you back to philadelphia and we learned last may that that pennsylvania state trooper who was caught on a viral video arresting the two philadelphia lgbtq plus officials from the spring yeah uh that pennsylvania state police officer is no longer employed okay lost his job but what he did was technically by the book yeah where when you the bigger issue is when you have somebody who pulls over and basically comes up from behind on an officer as you saw the fellow players of tyreek do that's a real problem and so i'm glad that there was at least one officer who was de-escalating much more than the one guy who was more of a hey you're gonna comply right now mm-hmm and i'm glad for that because i thought for a moment there you just thought uh-oh this this could go this could go very badly yeah and and so whenever it's important to know that that they're trained that if somebody else pulls over especially in this situation the other player in that big SUV yeah he doesn't even go to the side of the road he's in the road yeah in two lanes yeah crooked correct and he gets out door open because these guys i mean you talk about do you know who i am these guys are the epitome of you know a very big deal they're superstars and they're coddled athletes and so they're like they're in there you know million dollar outfits and they're gold watches and diamond rings and they're about to go they're hyped up to play and so these guys are like you're kidding me right mmm and that's what you're seeing so he was yanked to the ground i mean the first sat forcibly the first mistake he made was when they said take down your window or put down your window uh he should have yes just comply right the end yeah and when he wouldn't then they had no choice but to get him out of the car citizens don't control the crime scene officers do well with Philadelphia Nick that the officer here got fired i know and this guy and these officers will probably be placed as protocol on administrative leave i yeah i i'd like to think they don't get fired i don't see any reason why they should be fired on this specific and i know you're bringing up the philadelphia case as a you know a precedent but my god i mean and it's the officer's job to get the situation under control and if i ask you to get out and you don't get out i might ask you a second time so here's i'm not asking you a third time either you so either we want law enforcement to pull people over who are driving erratically etc or we don't pull them over and we record them and find them via license plate which so everybody's got to choose right you can't say case by case oh well one who you know pulled over the lgbtq plus person and then followed all the proper protocols oh yeah that guy is going to lose his job and be defamed in the media and all of that but these guys don't that's not so either you retrain or you differently train or you just decide you know what we're not we're not going to pull people over anymore tom tom on the youtube chat rights you have rights for someone who believes in the constitution this is a bad take so he's in nobody felt threatened and all the guns were holstered all right so i'm trying to make is he is that in defense of tirey kill in defense of uh you know putting a lot of blame on the cops i see i don't i mean look other than a few snarky remarks from the officer you know like maybe you should have had surgery on your ears i don't really think he did anything remotely wrong the one officer is is a little he got he he and i don't know how long this was going on either at the point that we see the video but the there was one officer the initial officer who's definitely more of a triggered oh yeah he's not de-escalating i'm not saying well that's what i said yeah he didn't do anything to help the situation but there was nothing physical as far as violation of your rights you rolled up the window we asked you to get out you didn't get out and then we opened up the door or maybe it was hill that actually opened the door and it pulled them out i'm fine with that i have no issue with that whatsoever i don't know what the i i i genuinely don't know what the what their training is but i'm simply saying if i'm in law enforcement and because we see this and we have a defund the police movement and we have a need to hire law enforcement figure it out people no i'm just what what's in other words from the aspect of the city is that is miami gonna stand behind these officers and say this is how they were trained i think they're already put on yes they're already on on desk duty yeah but i believe that's standard yeah i believe that when you have a viral video and everybody knows who you are that it's standard operating procedure but it for me personally when i look at these situations and i think about that pennsylvania state trooper who i personally know people who know him who say this guy was at the top of his class he did everything by absolute protocol he did everything the way he was trained and i suspect that that's what these officers are going to say yeah so we as a country have to look at this and say okay do we want law enforcement to come up and go yeah excuse me sir i really need you to roll down your window yeah i'm done i'm done with the post-jorge george jorge floyd experiment you had your fun you got your little sis out of your system here's the here's the deal don't break the law yeah that's yeah don't break the law there was a there was a real sense of entitlement from tarry kill and that whole and all of the in that whole situation and i i just i feel like you know if you're being pulled over for some little infraction or something like that just comply and just don't don't play a you know do you know who i am and like this is uh you know i'm on the i'm on the phone my agent and you know you're gonna all pay for this it's like oh god i'm so tired of these people all of my right you couldn't cite the you couldn't cite the bill of rights in the and the the first ten amendments if i gave you eighteen thousand chances that the cops don't know what they're getting his tinted windows yes his his his windows are up they don't know what they don't know what he's doing they don't know what he's reaching his fire on exactly and they don't even know that's tarry kill a hundred percent a hundred percent so the the bottom line with this then is that because the way that you know he now with his agent he goes on like you said with katelyn then he's on cnn he's claimed his rights were violated yeah yeah so is the union standing behind him because she again here in pennsylvania our state trooper who didn't even really manhandle if you will the the suspects in this case he or locally didn't even do that much lost his job and not that it really matters because you can separate the two but just just google tarry kill's rap sheet i was just i was gonna ask you felony domestic assault battery by strangulation but he did nothing violent though he just was saying bro what are you doing or something no no i i yeah right he didn't i mean he the none of the players did anything but kind of they're on the phone going what what are you doing but i just don't know why he never said i am i uh sir i'm about to play football i'm a player and i'm on my way to my job well based on based on based on what little evidence we have of that officer that officer is probably gonna be i don't give a damn who you are based on the way he's acted so far that cops not playing any games yeah and by the way too that's that's a rough area so those officers that pulled tarry kill over are probably dealing with a lot of guff on a daily basis to be honest with you they're not in bluebell pa to be honest with you guys as soon as he pulled up uh his uh his windows put up his windows and retentant and wouldn't put him down he's like even cops didn't draw on him yeah because they don't know what's on the other side right right nobody ever thinks about that though nobody ever thinks about that it's like well it's a he's a he's a black man being treated unfairly oh please yeah but what's his uh what's his salary nikael he makes it he's got like a four-year 130 million dollar contract i mean he's i mean he was the third pick of my fantasy draft he's no he's a great player i know how good he is i was just well i mean most of the audience probably has no idea who tarry kill is but like you know again number one don't break the law number two comply and then if you do you're in that stadium in about 15 minutes and you're probably not even given a traffic citation yeah you know i will tell you like in in television and network news they send a driver for you and they drive you there so that these things don't happen that they control your transport to work and so i would just suggest that maybe that should be part of their biggity big nfl contract or some of these even scottie the golfer yeah just you know put it in their contract and and negotiate that that you send the vehicle and that they're driven to their job because obviously these people they're rushing in they're speeding they're doing whatever and they can't be responsible to drive themselves into their jobs and so why not just if i'm with the nfl that's what i'm doing uh somebody's uh net chaos somebody on the youtube chat accusing you sounding racist good good keep firing away have a blast unbelievable i'd say it's it's it's uh backing law enforcement for doing their job there there look this is not fifth grade okay like when i was a juvenile detention facility officer i was told you do not allow these kids to dictate the circumstances you get your unit under control same thing when you're an officer out on the street or you're on patrol that that's we it's about bringing forget law and order it's about putting the power back into the people that hold that power Tyree kills is a citizen okay listen to what the officer says it's not optional i this is not multiple choice do it or be dealt with but named period i just i just i'm telling you this officer we need to follow this because in pennsylvania the state trooper quietly just a few months later was no longer employed by the pennsylvania state police yes i know that so with with this officer will he be criticized or even will they be thrown under the bus for not de-escalating because i would like to hear from somebody i would love to hear the pennsylvania state police yes i would love to hear from a police officer right now and but i know a lot of them can't call in right so you could use a different name yeah and by the way too you're driving a i don't know a two hundred thousand dollar sports car it sticks out like a sore thumb yeah so maybe just do the speed limit i don't know again i don't know what he was doing as far as reckless was he not signaling was he swerving like he's you know driving in the day tone of five hundred i have no idea but when you're driving a lamborghini or whatever that vehicle is and all of a sudden you're not adhering to the traffic rules and you're an officer on a bike you're like you fire up the way i mean that's a like my god why don't you just say hey officer i'm breaking the law i mean it's not like he's driving a 97 Ford taurus yeah but i want to know at what point who who can't did the agent show up because he keeps talking about his agent they were all calling their a rosin house well he represents a bunch of players so did their agent actually show up or like hold somebody that he knows no rosin house was at the stadium by like 11 15 by the way i have Tyree kill was on with Caitlin Collins i was like i have that we're way we're all right so let's break we'll come back we'll officially fire up the cut sheet and then we'll hear uh doing his tour making his tour for all the outlets that will um have him and CNN of course I come on down he was on with a Kaitlyn Collins last night starting here Captain Kirk with cut number 19 this is kyree kill on with gaitlyn Collins last night cut 19 curved go works like a charm doesn't it is that amazing it's just amazing it's just amazing all right I will play cut 19 so start the video over cut 19 go obviously watching that video just when you watched it back for the first time tell me what was what was going through your mind in those moments man for real you know I was I was like I was shocked man like it's crazy because it all happened so fast man but like for me man like it just all happened so fast and I really couldn't like gather everything that was happening so it was crazy you know and me being a father me being a husband and all that man I was just putting myself in that situation like hey I got to be smart you know I'm saying that that's why I really I wasn't on that kind of energy like I was chilling like I was following rules you know I'm saying I wasn't moving fast because you know I got injuries you feel me I got things that I go through I play a physical sport oh I've been doing this for a moment now man so I'm dealing with some stuff so um I guess the officers they felt like I wasn't doing it on they timing but I will I was doing it but you know man I'm still kind of shield shot from a man I know I'm embarrassed you know but you know for a man who runs a 4240 he sure moves slowly when asked to get out of a vehicle that's number one number two you weren't following the rules first of all you weren't driving within the legal requirements that's why they initially pulled you over then you rolled up your window you didn't roll it down when they asked and also you did not get out of the vehicle which then that forced them to pull you out of the vehicle and your buddy on the team didn't want to show his license after being asked I don't know twelve different times I doubt he had his license on him of course well then that's also his problem that's not a fact I doubt any of these guys they're not accustomed these are people since they were probably in eighth grade were we're superstars and were treated differently and so I doubt they have a wallet on them or a driver's license no I mean okay but that still doesn't that's not a legal defense but legally okay I'm just gonna say legally you don't have to you don't have to show your ID okay you don't have to that's you legally you don't uh by the way uh to just to clarify that for those of you who are sovereign in that whole thing Stan Stan Smith writes to us on Twitter Nick says he'll did nothing real uh he'll did nothing violent because the cops were men did the cops do anything I'm just so this is a guy who plays a violent sport was there anything remotely physical and violent and over the top about what those officers did who oh by the way you know Tyree kills were pretty big I mean he's short but he's still a pretty carved out dude so you know they pulled him out of the vehicle to which Stephen A Smith says this was a dehumanizing event so here's what here's what I'll tell you you know what I think they would they would really hope and I say they the mainstream media and Democrats they would love for this to have been white officers and would have loved for Tyree kill to have been physically assaulted because they would have had their George Floyd of 2020 and they didn't get and they didn't get that this time you were around 100 percent right so because the Harris campaign would love this yeah but with Scotty the golfer the white dude who later apologized like to your point he was in the orange jumpsuit he was finger-britted mug shot it yeah nobody nobody really talked about it in a jail cell he was put the jail cell he and Trump both in our in an orange jumpsuit um but I just want I would love to hear from somebody even if you call and use a different name is the initial officer who says all right that's it and pulls open that door and yanks him out of there in that motion is that is that going to get that particular officer in trouble for not de-escalating and say sir I need your identity I just I'd want to make like was there a moment as far as this and I'm just trying to take it from yeah because I don't want these these officers to get fired no of course I and you heard the officer say and this is the game that has been played for the last four years you heard that officer say we're not playing this game today we're not doing this you're gonna dance around and try to negotiate with me we've seen this in shoplifting incidents in a mall or in a retail place where an officer is ready to detain you and the suspect is putting on a facade and now we're not going to do this you're going to provide me either ID or I'm going to arrest you you're gonna if I say I'm gonna handcuff you and detain you it's not on your time buddy I'm the boss here I want to be clear about that it is not optional for these people say well okay you can take me downtown when I've had my fun and games and I'm done recording on tiktok no no I'm done with it this is the police are in charge not Johnny come lately I'm so sick of it if anybody else has something to say it's fine but I'm done with it and is this so if this happened to me or somebody who's not as big as these big men because I always think there is a big man little man thing going on so these cops in particular they're not big guys or comparatively to the men they're pulling over I would argue that those cops were way bigger than Tyree Kill Tyree where Tyree Kill is like five eight it's a little square maybe next to the other guy I mean he's carved out a stone it'll get me wrong but they don't look like big guys can we go back and play the footage I mean those those those two Latino officers look like they I wouldn't mess with them they're muscular I don't know if they're muscular they just look physically big I really I do think 230 maybe no can we play the video again or at least got like a feel a still shot and then anything we're asking too much we can't even get the audio so um let's let's continue with the uh let's continue with the Tyree Kill interview on with Kayla Collins outside cut 20 uh go well and when you watch it can we ask can you just can you tell us what happened with the moment with you didn't see it there in the video but you're in the car they're they're yelling at you to to roll your window down what was happening there you know what when the officer came up and knocked on my window um I let my window down cooperated um gave him my ID and then I immediately lit up my window um and then after that I let I let back up my window and then he came back to the window it's like let your window down now let your window down now and then I let it down um that's when he said if you don't let your window down I'm I'm gonna snatch you out of the car I was like sir my window is down like what do you want I'm not trying to cause a scene because if I let my window down like people walking by driving by they gonna notice it's dead it's me and they go oh oh oh we played that car yeah we played that car right because the officer should know that he had knee surgery by the way that the officers don't care that you had knee surgery not a factor in the situation whatsoever so wait he sang because he he said at least once he was embarrassed so what he's saying is it's humiliating and embarrassing to be pulled over so the reason that he's he doesn't want people to photograph him he feels embarrassed like ashamed like he's being profiled right that that's the narrative yeah I I also love the I'm a husband I'm a father line in the first clip that we played I gave you his rap sheet okay I not the most savory character when it pertains to uh his female uh companion kids does he have by the way that I don't know um there there was there was a story me I don't know if this you can google this and I could check it myself I could be wrong so let me just say I don't know the facts 100% on this part but I I almost I'm almost certain that there was an issue with one of the children where he might have broken the kid's arm don't quote me on that it might be a different player but I there's you can look at him just google Tyreke he'll um arrest history or something yeah he's he he's not mother Teresa uh let me keep going not that that should matter by the way you can separate his past transgressions that has that should not factor into this isolated incident I want to be clear about that uh let me keep going driving by they gonna notice is that it's me and they gonna start taking pictures and I like I like I didn't want to create a scene at all like I just really wanted to get the ticket and then just go on about my way and then just you know just have a great Sunday you know because really like I really could have just kept going to the stadium but I really just pulled to the side you know just chilling because I was that close to the stadium like I was that close to like I was entry level on like I was that close to the players entry level and then from that moment the guy came from the back he was like hey get out um he was like hey um I'm about to snatch you out the car or whatever you know I'm saying again it just all unfolded from there because I was going to get out my car you know I'm saying because they told me to get out because I was getting out my car but the way that my car made is like a deal inside of McLaren Central yes what it happened so he was just chilling but yet he was driving presumably a well over the speed limit he's charged I believe with it's it's reckless driving and then you're going to sit there and talk about uh you know your um how did he phrase that can we can we go back can I know we have all this video and it's difficult with the new system can I just want to hear that again because you're talking about um oh I'm drawing a blank now I got to hear this I got to hear this earlier this year earlier this year mid-a divorce he was accused in a domestic dispute apparently of of you know and having domestic troubles and it was a mid-a divorce and I don't really see involved like I don't see the follow-up what I think you're talking about is back in 2014 he allegedly struck his pregnant girlfriend yes felony domestic assault and battery by strangulation I've got it right here from the sporting news dot com 10 years ago yeah well this I think this was actually when he was in college that that incident this one that I'm looking at is 2014 he allegedly struck his pregnant girlfriend and he and it was domestic assault battery by strangulation what do you want to go back to just that last clip that you played the whole thing well just the the last part of this whatever portion you just played all right I know I know it's the same clip but that is me and they gonna start taking pictures and like I like I didn't want to create a scene at all all right right there stop it you don't want to create a scene how many times he on the on speakerphone yelling drew drew drew like like the officers were like you know pummeling him crying out for help for his agent like again dude you want to act like a big tough guy well then don't don't don't start whining and squealing like a little baby when the officers pull you out of your vehicle for not following their instructions okay we can continue I really wanted to get the ticket and then just go on about my way and then just you know just have a great Sunday you know because really like I really could have just kept going to the stadium but I really just pulled to the side you know just chilling because I was that close to the stadium like I was that close to like I would entry level on like I was back to the that's good right there so you could have kept going well then you would have been further breaking the law because I'm assuming the officers had their lights and siren lit up to have you pull over and if you would have gone another six blocks or whatever it is or a thousand yards into the stadium you would have been in further defiance of what the officers were trying to accomplish is which is to pull you over and then you're like oh I just want to have a good day and oh by the way he looked he looked pretty good on the field because I have the NFL red zone and I I bet on the dolphins jaguars game he was running up and down the field beautifully I didn't see any issue with that surgically repaired knee that he was crying about as he had to sit on the curb and be humanized to be the way uh by the way the youtube chatters are uh are demanding that you drop him from your fantasy team I don't have him I don't have him no he went third in my league but I don't have him I've got say Juan Barkley did you have him did you have him say I'm just being a black man that's it I'm just being a black man in america in a nice car and the officer says we're dark two brother we're people of color two don't play like that oh I didn't hear that oh it's no I don't get this one I don't think that's in the body cam footage that I sent to you guys last night it's about three and a half minutes I don't believe I heard that so this is another video this is part of see we're getting this in drips and drabs and that's so he's obviously he has been in the news in a negative light for years in the past yeah and earlier this year so what he's doing with his agent obviously is spin control there's a reason why andy reed traded him and yeah said hey patrick I know you're my franchise quarterback but I got him I gotta move this guy out by the way we have all the debate stuff I'll get that in one second one more Tyree kill clip this is cut 21 he says if it if I wasn't Tyree kill worst case scenario we wouldn't have had a or we would have had a different article whatever that means cut 21 go and I saw that you said if you weren't Tyree kill that you you're this could have ended a lot differently what what do you think could have happened yeah like so the crazy part about it is I hate talking like this man but because I have a key a fan base but the reality of it is it's the truth if I wasn't Tyree kill worst case scenario we we would have had a different article you know Tyree kill you know got shot in front of hard rock stadium you know or that's worst case scenario Tyree kill you know put in handcuffs and taken in and booked you know but um it's crazy that you know I you know me and my family had to go through this you know um so so you just assume that if the officers knew you were not Tyree kill the dolphin wide receiver but just random Tyree kill of Miami-Dade County that they would have shot you over a traffic violation yeah really apparently the dolphins the Miami dolphins have condemned the police of course because they have to because of pure pressure from the public and and bozos on social media you have great and the NFL this story is a honestly it's a big nothing burger Tyree kill made mistakes the officers if I had to say if you could read a revisionist history I would clean up about 10% of what the officers said yeah I don't think they physically did anything wrong but again I'm not also not bothered by words and hey maybe you should have had surgery on your ears I actually think that's pretty funny that's pretty clever and quick-witted that guy can think quicker on his feet than Kamala Harris can and by the way I'm glad you brought up the the the ethnicity of the officers and you've mentioned that whole thing with the other see if we can we got to be able to find that clip sent it to you oh you did the police union said he was being uncooperative and that he was redirected to the ground while in handcuffs ring his detention but they said to be clear at no time was he ever under arrest he was briefly detained for officer safety after driving in a manner in which he was putting himself in others in great danger all right I'm gonna let me see if I can guys if this isn't I'm just playing this now if there's cursing I'm gonna have to dump out of it but let's try it here yeah so you can see he wants to play the race card and these officers who are also not white or something yep yeah we're people of color too but don't try don't don't don't bring that here again yeah I actually think that these are officers and now they're patrol officers but I guarantee you they they are not just routinely having to deal with low-level traffic offenses these are cops I think that deal with a lot of scumbags in a rough area and I guarantee you they're not putting up with any guff all right they're not looking for Picasso's on the main line okay yeah I don't think any of the officers were white they I think they're two Hispanic one African-American gentlemen so there goes the race card they can't play that there's almost the sense that I get from from Tyree kill that he wishes more would have happened it's almost like we've created this rewarding of the victimhood culture and I'm so over that again follow the law and then when you do break the law just yes sir no sir okay follow their commands that's all you have to do and I do think that this officer is a little high strum there's no question about it but you know what you have to be like that in certain municipalities and precincts that you patrol okay we're not we're not everybody is a cop in wealthy suburbia by the way uh we we were streaming earlier and then the stream dropped out so if you're watching right now everybody watching or if you're listening on the order see I just go over to youtube and just hit the hit the thumbs up button hit the thumbs up button hit the subscribe button so we can get back in people's algorithms because because we had to stop it and start it people are having trouble finding it and it's just you know it's a whole thing all right let's get to the debate here um Harry Anton this is cut 16 Harry Anton uh from CNN uh wonders if Kamala Harris messed up by not picking Shapiro because we reported yesterday uh that the new CNN poll has Pennsylvania tied 47 47 yep so Harry Anton is wondering that if he loses if if Kamala Harris loses Pennsylvania is it because she didn't pick Josh Shapiro uh cut 16 go we see as a tightening race in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania all right this is Harris vs Trump margin in the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania a month ago when you looked at polls New York Times plus four Harris plus three Quinnipiac for Harris Franklin Marshall plus three for Harris but look at polls that have come out over the last week or so and what do we see we see a much tighter race we see a tie in the CBS new ugov poll we see a tie in the CNN SSRS poll and this to me is part of a emerging pattern which is in a very pivotal state what we saw as a small Harris lead but within the margin of error becoming a race that is way way way too close to call it this particular point one that is even well this was the great question when Kamala Harris was making her VP selection who should she select and of course folks like myself thought that she should take Josh Shapiro of course as the governor of the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania why because his approval rating is 59% and the bottom line is if Kamala Harris loses in the state of Pennsylvania and that is the tipping point state as Mr. Berman put it the state that put Donald Trump over the top of the electoral college there are going to be some real questions as to whether Kamala Harris should have chosen Josh Shapiro given how popular he is okay so there's a couple of things to break down here number one you got to separate national polling versus battleground state polling in there's one of these polls Greg you sent us one of the polls and surveys last night that showed Kamala Harris has 68% of the Jewish vote where Trump is sitting around 25% I thought it would be higher so I'm a little surprised that he's quote as low as he is at 25% we know the highest Republican Jewish vote number of all time was Ronald Reagan with 40% and I thought 40% was in play for Trump and maybe that's an outlier maybe that's not the case but it's interesting because Nate Silver says that Kamala Harris squandered a huge opportunity to pick up more votes by not selecting Shapiro and that has certainly been my stance I said all along the moment she selected Tim Wall's that if Shapiro was not Jewish Shapiro would have been the play A because he's more noticeable he's got a more national profile than Tim Wall's and most importantly he is in a state which is going to determine the election I mean Pennsylvania is worth 19 votes in the electoral college but now he has come out Nate Silver and said that no Democrat has taken the White House without winning Pennsylvania since 1948 that is 76 years and he says that she blew that opportunity and could be devastating for her hopes although that survey that you shared with us shows he's doing just quite fine which is really remarkable and I know it's a single issue and historically Jewish voters are about 70% registered Democrats but with everything that has transpired since October 7th and the position that this administration and the progressives have taken I was saying I would love if Democrats lose this fall I would love the reason for that to be Jewish voters backing Trump again nothing seems to break through the force field it's like they've been neglecting the Jewish voter and backing the pro Gaza Hamas supporter in this country and it hasn't worked against him that's the staggering development from it from my perspective you mentioned Nate Silver he was on with Bret Baer last night because we said yesterday that he predicts that Trump had a 64% chance of winning the Electoral College in his latest forecast here's just a little of that interview cut 17 go joining us tonight is Nate Silver founder of 538 and author of the new book on the edge the art of risking everything Nate good evening great to see you congrats on the book I want to talk about that in just a minute but we have some new polling out tonight that looks at a couple of things one is the president's up one point which is margin of error but also extremely motivated to vote in the 2024 election it's now tied 68 68 between Trump supporters and Democratic supporters and best describes your presidential vote preference for my candidate against their opponent and you see the breakdown for my candidate 77 for Trump 63 for Harris polls are snap shot at time you talk about this all the time but where is the snapshot that you see right now in this race if you have the election tomorrow which would be a strange thing to do by the way I think Harris would be a slight favorite she's been ahead in most recent polling in the blue wall states Pennsylvania Wisconsin Michigan Georgia North Carolina Arizona Nevada all polling in the margin of error range look this Fox News poll is pretty good for Trump that'll help them a little bit when we update our model tomorrow but you'd rather be Harris today people should remember those two things one we have three more months to go there will be more surprises and two um the polls have been wrong before in both the last two general elections they underestimated Trump yeah and what about that the under estimating of Trump is it two points is at three points is it people going into the polling booth saying to their friends they haven't voted for Trump but they really do you know polling is difficult um the conceit is that you randomly dial people but we don't really have like landlines anymore very much right people don't answer calls from from strangers very much so there's a lot of modeling and sometimes models go wrong um you know in 2022 there was not a republican overperformance a slight d1 in some of the senate races instead um so our view is that the the polling bias is unpredictable but to go in either direction right if Pennsylvania is you know Harris plus two on election day it could be Trump wins by two or Harris wins by six etc all right so a couple of things on the odds and probability front so should um in the Shapiro silver has Kamala Harris as a 63 favorite to win the debate tonight for whatever that's worth however you arrive at the conclusion of who wins the debate but as I said yesterday also he still has Trump as an 87 percent favorite to remain the favorite to win the election on November 5th what I have found interesting about Nate Silver's polling and of course uh or his forecasting because it's not technically polling and I again I don't know how he arrives at his conclusions he is I mean you talk about number nerds and metric honks I mean this guy he goes deeper than anybody humanly possibly can with his you know algorithms and his formulas and statistics I don't know how he's got Trump at 64 percent likely to win the election there there's nothing in any of the polls on a state-by-state battleground level or a national level that would imply Trump is almost a two-to-one favorite and I know everybody's eating it up on social media I've seen it for four or five days you know when when Alan Lickman comes out and says I've got Kamala winning the election it's a garbage it's a garbage take and you're a you're a Democrat hack Nate Silver says Trump's two-to-one favorite and everybody's running around going oh it's gonna be jumping a landslide gonna be jumping a landslide I don't know how you arrive at 64 and I'm pretty good with numbers there's no way I would ever have Trump installed as a two-to-one favorite I would say right now it is if I'm being generic it's a coin flip if if I had a given number I would say it's two to three points in one direction or the other I would have Trump 52 53 comma 51 52 percent I don't know how he gets 64 percent I would love to actually that's a guy I would actually like to have on the show I don't like doing a lot of interviews and doing deep dives but that's a guy I would love to talk to him to like so walk us through without having my audience's head explode how you arrive at that I would love to know that yeah we heard we've heard a lot of ads including on this radio station about project 2025 right oh it's the end of the world here we go um so the former uh director of this project 2025 is a guy by the name of Paul Dan's he was on with Caitlin Collins last night explaining the Trump link or she was trying to tie him to this I think yes uh this is cut 18 uh Kirk go as you know given what we've seen from the conventions it's almost inevitable that this will be brought up on the debate stage tomorrow night are you worried that that your work could be a liability for for Trump when he's on stage up there tomorrow no not at all and thank you for having me Caitlin uh look president Trump's the greatest debater bar none of our time and uh you know breaking news is Trump has nothing to do with project 2025 sure a lot of us have worked in the admin and came together but this started long before he even announced for president it was really a coming together of the conservative movement and and I think that's what's been so threatening to the left um you know our sides always been prone to infighting and what we were able to do here was bring together 110 groups and really lay out a common sense plan you know not everyone agrees and what's in that book but the book's only actually part of the plan and um what we did was really invite people from all over the country to to get back into their government well I think that's why you know I was reading through it again in recent days when when people say Trump has nothing to do with it I mean you worked as the deputy chief of staff at the office of personnel management a pretty significant office six of his former cabinet secretaries helps collaborate or write on it I mean you look at it and it's full of names that people would recognize Chris Miller Peter Navarro Johnny McEntee and so some people say okay well 140 of his staffers worked on it how can you say that he has nothing to do with it well he personally didn't have anything to do with it certainly a lot of folks uh you know worked on it came out of the Trump administration but that's natural for any Republican administration you're going to have the carryover for the next one and in this case it's conservative but look those ideas were open to Joe Biden and and and to implement if he wants to and and they actually are it's very it is so it's it's so infuriating on two fronts number one Trump has repeatedly said that he has nothing to do with project 2025 that's number one and he said it I don't know how many times and I don't know how many more times he has to keep saying it number two I mean he has laid out his 20 point platform you can see it it's legitimately 20 bullet points of hey this is what my 2024 election campaign is about these are the 20 things I want to implement between 25 and 28 if I get elected and as far as these connections to Trump whether it's six to eight people 140 of this or whatever I mean I'm affiliated with and I have loose connections to a bazillion people as well just because they do something in their professional life does not automatically link me to them wholeheartedly absolutely 100 percent but as we know Don like this is one of these things where you know if Trump's name is remotely affiliated with anything it's all it's all his right like Caitlyn Collins the ultimate fact checker should be fact checking herself right now oh I know it's here's here's the thing I think for for many of us we just look at this tonight and think this is an unbelievable place that we find ourselves in this evening that Kamala Harris is being portrayed suddenly now as if she as if like a magic genie appeared and poof we have this very credible individual who's fabulous and perfect and we're not supposed to remember or be unburdened by the past that Kamala Harris has been a disaster she's the current vice president of the United States of America and yet the media treats her as if she's this brand new darling who by the way they never they're apparently just forgetting and having amnesia that they ever reported on her negative ways I've got her campaign website let me actually read this before we continue with any of these policies because again I said in the big take this morning Kamala Harris and the Democrats are more concerned about defining Trump than defining what or who Kamala Harris is or about yesterday after 50 days her website finally put up a policy page and I'm going to read this directly for you vice president Kamala Harris finally added policies to her campaign website for the first time since Joe Biden dropped out of the race 50 days ago the website breaks Harris and her vice president running mate governor Tim walls of Minnesota's policy proposals into four sections number one build an opportunity economy and lower costs for families number two safeguard our fundamental freedoms number three ensure safety and justice for all and number four keep America safe secure and prosperous I got to tell you that really has a Trump theme to it does it not reminds me of peace and prosperity Harris's website includes a promise to cut taxes for middle-class families by ensuring no one earning less than 400,000 a year will pay more in taxes so that's a Joe Biden claim she also says she will ensure the wealthiest Americans and largest corporations pay their fair share that's Joe Biden again right top down bottom up middle out that whole the charade that Joe spouted for four years and then she also goes into her 28 tax proposal on long-term capital gains which we gave you last week that mark Cuban says will kill the stock market and California Democrat Ro Khanna has said will force entrepreneurs to sell their businesses so really all she did yesterday was take what she has said that has been destroyed by her own party paste it to the website and it's really a combination of a copy and paste of Joe's failed policies and the themes that Trump uses but she claims that she's not Trump and we know she's not Trump because she's a radical progressive so they finally got the website up and running but it's it's more the same uh chrystal isa who i believe he's working for the washing post i don't know who he works for now he predicts for the debate tonight Harris will be nervous in the debate with Trump he said this earlier i do i think that quiet setting will make her shake a little bit um because look he's i mean he's the he's the greatest debater we've ever seen he's the master of debate in politics he's he's he's very good at it um and she's proven in every debate i've seen her in unless it was against Mike Pence who kind of just you know okay i'll i'll be subservient to you whatever you want like unless it was Mike Pence like solo energy he got you know she got destroyed in every debate she's she's that so like her track record isn't great his is uh chrystal isa cut five go uh terra read not that terra read how do you think kamal will fair in the debate my guess is we'll be here next week talking about kamala fumbling the debate hmm i don't know is the answer look she's not being on this big a stage before which honestly very few people have though i think it's important to note i i talked about this on tv humble brag recently Donald trump has been in this will be his seventh sorry i'm pounding the table seven general election presidential debate seven that's more than anyone in history so i think there is a level of kind of uh comfort there for him and and she's never been in a presidential debate for she's been a vice presidential debate but never a presidential debate um so i do you think she is going to probably be a little bit more nervous uh i think she has more writing on it i don't think trump's numbers look i've said this before trump has a very high ceiling in terms of voter support like 45 and a very excuse me a very high floor in terms of voter support and a very low ceiling he basically moves between 46 and 48 percent of the vote yep he doesn't go to 52 or 51 he doesn't go to 40 so i don't know how his numbers move i think she has potentially more movement there i don't think she'll fumble it though i i agree especially on the trump perspective i mean he is pretty much in this two to three point range depending on a day what he says what his opponent says what the media concocts what a prosecutor decides to charge him with yeah it's 45 it's 47 it's 48 but Kamala Harris could absolutely crash and burn tonight but here's the thing the bar is so low i mean you're gonna have and i i really do believe and i know we all tend to forget about things within nine seconds and move on to the next thing that's the society we live in hell you say yeah but there's going to be you know a lot of people that still do recall just how how awful joe was on june 27th so as long as she's north of that it's technically a de facto win for her if she can come off as a cognizant human being that will probably be enough for some hacked left wing writer to say Kamala stood her ground she held her own against the big bad trumpster and and that's pretty embarrassing that that's where our standard is for the highest office in the world you know there will be a pro-Palestinian rally outside the constitution center this evening and i wonder if that will influence the abc moderators and david yeah to ask a question about it which which that to me would be fair a fair game question oh for sure but i know that there are i believe there are pro-choice so if you want to call there are abortion protesters rally people whatever you want to say and um that our pro-choice pro-life will be out there as well and then they've said some mummers could be joining an event organized by trump campaign volunteers to welcome the former president's motorcade to the national constitution center will any of the protesters or people who are rallying outside influence the questioning i wonder by the abc um you know hosts when they get inside i look if you're if you're the moderator for this debate linsey uh whatever her last name is adam's i think it is and david where um you can't leave any major topic um not brought up i mean whether it's obviously the economy immigration wars the middle east uh energy fracking for sure fracking has to be in there when we were in pennsylvania after all you know abortion will be brought up common was going to say if if elected donald trump will institute a national ban come and trump's going to counter by saying we brought it back to the states which is where it needs to be but you're right i mean there's that this is probably the only debate we get so i i don't know what the time constraints are on it from a network standpoint what they've told both parties but if this thing needs to go two and a half hours to get through every issue because there's at least i could probably come up with in the next commercial 12 to 15 questions that i would ask both sides um like let's let's have it if this takes three and a half hours then so be it because this might be the only crack uh this is cut tan um don's gal sarah hokey sanders was on uh abc this week on sunday discussing the debate between trump and kamma and this is what she said this 10 go on the debate what do you think the stakes are how important is this uh for former president trump oh well i think it's actually more important for vice president harris somebody who doesn't speak to the media doesn't take questions in fact at the end of this interview john i will have done more interviews during this election cycle then she has since becoming the democrat nominee for president it is absurd that she does not take questions from the press from the american people and so i think this is actually a much more important night for her because it's so rare that we hear from her that we hear her take questions or that we know anything that she actually stands for but what's more absurd than all of this because this has been their strategy and even though some of the mainstream media have called them out for it it seemingly hasn't really impacted them a ton in the polls is the honeymoon over yes has she kind of flattened out yes i mean you knew it wouldn't be a 105 day honeymoon but what's crazier about all of this is that there are people out there that are so uninformed or uneducated or unwilling to even hold her feet the i mean there's legitimately people out there that'll say i don't care that she hasn't done interviews i don't care that she hasn't shared her policies i'm voting for her because she's not trump and that is the issue at hand here that that's what this election is a this section this issue this election is not about issues if it was about issues trump would trump would be at 64 percent to win the election in my opinion but it's not about issues it's about the most petty stuff and that's the crazy part in this country that there are people that will vote for her it's like i gave the analogy before you show up at a car dealership and you ask six to eight questions to the sales rep and the sales rep does not give you the answer to any of those questions what the price is what the fuel is what the safety is what features it has what the warranty is what's the terms of the lease or the purchase and you say that's okay i'll take it i'll buy it i mean if you're a sales rep like okay here here's the paperwork let's let's let's get this filled out uh we are hours uh from the debate the debate by the way you can hear it all right here on talk radio 1210 wpht tonight starting at nine o'clock plus the analysis afterwards Dom i believe will be in the spin room and Walter Sterling our new uh live and local show from nine to midnight we'll have all the uh we'll take your calls afterwards but how much will the economy to your point in a kale play in this how much is that affecting votes we'll see and i went to swing states Pennsylvania with uh Wisconsin and Michigan to see how much of a factor is the economy in their vote this is what their results this is cut 12 filled go what is clear top of mind for voters in this election is the economy and specifically in these states roughly eight and ten just a shade over eight and ten say that the economy is a major issue in deciding their vote inflation also continues to be a major concern voters clearly feeling uneasy a majority more than a quarter of registered voters in each of these three states say that their income is not keeping up with inflation you can imagine both candidates will be asked about this tomorrow night for round up yeah those are again pretty remarkable that trump and who is the better option on the economy can sit here and look at the keystone state Wisconsin michigan these blue wall big ten states whatever you want to call them and you know eight eight out of ten voters like oh yeah major issue yet when you look at the polling it's 51-49-50-50 again if it was about the issues trump in a landslide she can't match trump on policy she can't match a mission issue that's what the media is not reporting on policy yep you're right what a time to be alive eight five five eight three nine twelve ten we'll come back get to a dawn stems one big three and then we've got more to get to in the world of this debate the eight realities of our 50-50 election we'll get to that as we kick off the nine o'clock hour gallon company back after this on talk radio twelve ten wphd column breaking down the state of our political system from axios i want to go through these a little bit the eight realities of our 50-50 election but i do want to share this story and you know we always hear about the crime in philadelphia when dawn gives us the news at 605 and 705 and subsequently at times you know in the big takes as well but i thought it was pretty amazing i just saw this story now this story is from about four days ago but i just saw it pop up on my timeline yesterday from the new york times we talked a lot about the eagles and the packers game being played in brazil the fact that brazil has banned x they're limiting free speech and of course you know the crime in that country and it's not safe and we played you daria sleigh's clip and i know don't you get into a lot of crime stuff dom certainly talks about stuff at a local level with crime in the city and you know maybe this is a another conversation for a day where we can break it down even further with you know what job chorale parker has done so far in her her nine months but the new york times writes this story with the headline being eagles players feared crime in brazil have they considered philadelphia and they write the following last year uh forgive me if i butcher the city is it sao palo sao palo brazil sao palo and not to be confused with sao palantonio from the spn but last year sao palo registered 4.2 murders per 100 000 people so let me repeat that again that was the city where the eagles and packers played on friday night 4.2 murders for every 100 000 people it's actually one of the lowest rates in brazil meanwhile in philadelphia the murder rate was six times higher at 26.1 per 100 000 people even surpassing the murder rate across brazil nationwide at 23.1 per 100 000 people that is according to the quote homicide monitor a database of government statistics from the egarrape institute a research institute that studies security and it's not just in philadelphia they say most cities with nfl teams all have higher murder rates than where the nfl played friday night on that soccer pitch in brazil and some much higher sao palo had less than a third of the murders per capita of the following nfl cities ranging from highest to lowest with new orleans were the saint's play in louisiana baltimore the ravens in maryland the cleveland browns in ohio detroit lions washington commanders kansas city chiefs since and adi bengals atlanta falcons indian appleis chicago minneapolis dallas buffalo houston national and jackson ville i had no idea that that was the reality of the murder rates um comparing brazil i mean obviously i'm aware of what's going on here in philadelphia but if you look at just those registered metrics and again who knows what the real number is but on the record it looks like philadelphia about six times more dangerous than brazil which i found interesting and i bring this up because i figured i would ask you don it may you talk a lot about chorale parker local policies at what point and forget the metrics for a moment but have we reached the point where we can now start critiquing and judging the job that chorale is done do you need to wait for one full year um yeah i know we have seen some numbers that have come out saying that you know this type of crime or that type of crime is down but retail crime and theft is up so i'm not sure what you make of that as somebody that kind of pays attention that it's on a local level i didn't realize brazil was significantly safer than philadelphia i don't know that it is i question so i'm looking at wikipedia says of their murder rate is way down this year but in 2022 just in south polo they had more than three thousand homicides oh and we only had what last year was a 500 roughly so it's i mean it's tragic if it's one or if it's hundred but i i also question the reporting in some of these other countries i don't know how all that works but i am not going to buy that they're safer than than here i that's just my okay my feeling is that maybe there's a new regime and they're not reporting but they do say it's much they have gone down but my god they they're down from three thousand right holy moly well and we know al-salvador has gotten much safer because they've let everybody out of their country and they've they come across our southern borker here so figure that was an interesting story we would pass it along uh it was written on september six in the new york times if you want to take a gander for yourself eight five five eight three nine twelve ten we'll come back get a big three and then the eight realities of our election here on november fifth back after this kaolin company start your day with kaolin company weekday morning six till ten finding that when she's shopping milkweed for the monarch butterfly that's correct uh big three in a moment let me just let me just take this call before we get to the big three leney is in pitman he's next on talk radio 1210 leney go ahead good morning everybody just my take on it thank i for body cameras i simply watched it and in strictly my opinion he was given a command by the police officer please keep your winded down i think probably six times and i just feel that once again here's a situation where you know all you had to do was comply with the police and right away it's racism it's this it's that and it's really getting out of control because when you really see it straight up he was just given a command keep your winded down which is windows or tint in it you don't know if you've either gone in his lap you don't know they didn't even know who he was so we can't play that game that he was an nfl star and it's just it's really getting ridiculous it really is i agree and you know maybe if he's not an nfl star maybe he actually ends up going to jail for the day and has to wait until monday to state his case and or get bailed out and i'm glad you bring that up lenny and i i blew a gasket an hour and a half ago i don't feel like doing it again i only have one bullet in the chamber when it comes to losing my mind each day i can't hit the recalibrate button uh but i like i said it's it's it's very simple this is not optional you comply it's not like hey we're gonna give you the no just do it if you just do it you're fine you're just fine so um but we've addressed that already thank you for the call though lenny all right eight five five eight three nine twelve ten if you want to jump in nine oh five let's get to don stenzland's big three at nine it's the big three nine on keel and company sponsored by budget blinds this morning back to school for hundreds of children banned from suburban classrooms after threats of violence so here's the latest that we know this morning from police four juveniles uh who allegedly posted these threats of violence on social media some led to the closure of multiple schools in multiple districts this is south jersey yesterday and this is the update that we now have four so yesterday at some point we updated it to three now we have four a 12 year old from woodbury a juvenile we don't have the age from glass burrow a 15 year old from mollock uh mollock a hill as well as another juvenile are in custody in connection with those social media posts of the threats to at least five schools throughout Gloucester and Camden counties and so police confirming school for uh school officials confirming the threat is over with they've sent out letters and so on and notified parents that thankfully and out of an abundance of caution they canceled all schools all afternoon sports so i'll point out to you you know for a lot of people they had maybe a jv football game yesterday yeah muddies jv day yep and so they had to cancel everything all the sports all the activities shut down all the transportation and so we know that the fourth juvenile was arrested later in the day after police learned of another social media threat against bunker hill middle school in washington township and so they're looking into all of this but they're in that case they're charging the boy with false public alarm making terroristic threats i don't have all the charges of all of the kids and at the end of the day what will they face will they be expelled will we know their names we don't have all that information just out of curiosity does it say which social media platform these tiktok tiktok okay was a smunder i know the original one was i believe all of them were tiktok i don't think i was trying to look because you had had a good point that you had brought up discord yeah i didn't see that discord was i think it was mostly tiktok so i i didn't see discord in there okay yeah so that's one to watch okay but they're facing a quite serious charges and for now out of school will it be permanently you know expelled booted from the school you know all of these questions or the parents involved all of that but they had threatened shootings at all these multiple schools high schools middle schools catholic schools and so it was um you know something they of course they have to take serious yes and i'm glad it didn't slip through the cracks this time thank god for that um election day in and i know that speaking of slipping through the cracks i know we'll update the situation in georgia because there were there were new developments in that so we will get to that later but in the big three today it's locally election day well in Delaware at least polls opened seven a.m. this morning and they will be open until eight o'clock this evening voters in Delaware deciding the nominees for several political contests including a closely watched campaign for governor and a potentially historic race that's what's being reported it's a historic race for the u.s. house because of a transgender individual okay who's running another glass ceiling uh good glass ceiling glass ceiling shed to be shot at nixon quiet nixon started drinking at uh six oh eight i know the adhesive for my dentures this fall on another glass ceiling statue nice to meet you down and she'll see me i'll take another whiskey shower eventually you don't have you don't have those fake choppers like some with some talk radio host to man those perley white teeth that are clearly you know too long or something i can't afford those either so they're a beautiful thing yeah forty grand for your teeth and it's just it's just it's just yeah Hannity has those by the way you can't tell if they're drunk or or if it's just their fake teeth heading in a way the best is when they when you go for like the uh consultation or like yeah it won't impact your speech yeah okay i i never understood that talk radio host or talk you know talk show uh on tv getting fake teeth that are going to affect the way they speak book because you're told that it won't or there's like a little bit of a learning curve and then you've kind of figured out how to reminuver you know your tongue when you speak i had a uh orthotic on my bottom teeth for about a year in Nashville for a dental issue yeah to realign my bottom jaw and for the first two weeks of the show um there was certain letters in certain words that were a little more difficult until i my body adapted hey youtube are you drunk like what what are you doing with dawn's camera like we get flagged yet no what has happened it just what happened i just i don't know there was a shot of her you know the the ceiling and then pay attention thank you yeah sorry what is happening where's phil it's crazy in here let's get phil back here can he spill can he start at six a.m. can he stop going to San Francisco yeah to see the jet blues i know you could have stayed you could have stayed here to watch the jets put up 19 points i'm just kidding i'm just kidding i love every sick of all these people taking time off yeah how dare you that's my job it's outrageous my job as far as the teeth that's why it matters that's why i shout out to uh doctor robert benson doctor sarah bens yeah i look out that look how blurry dawn is now it looks like there's like a fog a fog blowing in right now i'm sorry you have one job i'm just gonna minimize i don't even want to look at somebody put vaseline on my camera oh or am i yeah but sometimes the talk show hosts with the veneers i just can't but what's all you were in your network television did you ever consider it no because i have good teeth you do so i but yeah if i needed that i'm i'm serious though some people they they you know will not go to the right person yeah doesn't matter how much you're going to spend go to the right person who's going to do a good job yeah if anybody wants to get you know dr ben trick my mouth up for free and let me endorse them i'll do it now what do you want your mouth tricked i don't want i don't want to have a real diver real i have tmj so i would love to have that done just to fix the issue yes he has tmj i do i don't even know what that is is that something kinky or what it would i don't know what that is i tell you thursday night after a few pops at uh the scottish right on the thorium so if you're a if you're you if you're good thursday don i'll tell you oh by the way if you're at the scottish look don's blurry like i just can't like i'm free to be doing kirk's drinking but kirk's already caught oh you know he's no longer captain kirk he's cocktail kirk he's my guy um the yeah okay i forgot what i was saying nevermind so they got to fix my focus number three the big three i'll just say did you see the dnc billboards saying trump hates filly trump hates trump a two filly philadelphia is my audio blurry too no no no they're blurring me out trump hates phil it was the other thing trump hate they're new billboards it just went out right it says trump hates filly yep and they're written in english and spanish across philadelphia it just went up i i saw a storm and i'm glad you bring this up it might have been greg that sent it over the weekend or i saw it elsewhere but i saw a story of i believe pro-democrat anti trump banners being flown over college football stadiums yes so it was you it was uh pen state uh wisconsin michigan all the battleground states yep which i i got to tell you it's kind of clever i don't know that it necessarily works because i feel like a lot of those football fans are probably more leaning right versus left but i still applaud the effort it's kind of you know um as again it not to go on a tangent this just goes back to i always feel like democrats do such a better job with messaging like what why is it republicans are always so far behind like that's why i give trump a lot of credit doing these theo von podcast and uh logan paul like trump is willing to do the outside of the box break the routine ordinary whereas most republicans don't yep yeah and that's and that's it he can he has to break through because he's he is against all odds you're right you're right you're absolutely yep so uh so these billboards are all over i 95 i haven't seen them i just saw it go viral that people were taking pictures i don't know all i see are the uh trump for lower taxes or whatever on 95 i see trump good like positive trump 276 i see him on uh 309 309 yep trump hates clean air let's make that a billboard i was actually i was actually saying driving around philly in like this area coming home going out to the suburbs like the trump campaign has done a good job of of kind of blanketing this area with uh with signs and billboards and stuff they i'm gonna say what i said yesterday uh they need to advertise on this radio station because of our reached for men 18 to 34 yep if you're going to do that on the sport station you're throwing your money away because we are we are beating them men 18 to 34 which i know is a very uh crucial demo to the trump campaign so if you're thinking hey you know what men 18 to 34 like sports well according to the summer many 18 to 34 like kaolin company at 1210 wph yeah take that the camera so yeah so so so stop with this so stop with this and advertise on our station yeah thank you i did i i mentioned yesterday i hadn't seen much kamala signage but yesterday after the show i had to make a couple of errands and i was just going down skipback pike so a couple of harris wall signs for the first time so there you're i think you're going to start to see you on both sides yeah in the next 50 days you're going to see more signage by the way Fulton Jack Waterloo must be new to the youtube chat because he says from greg's voice i thought he was four foot eight do i sound like a little person you know i've never i've never read that long yeah you're definitely not a lollipop kid no no you're more like a um by the way did you ever read the story not to get off on a tangent this is still dawn's big three uh do you ever read the story about those um those munchkins and the Wizard of Oz yeah did one of them killed themselves behind the scenes and they were all they were all drunk all the time oh yeah and they they were like grabbing Judy Garland's butt yeah like you could do that back in the 1920s making sexual yeah like the stuff that went on in the Wizard of Oz like behind the scenes was amazing isn't it it's not that television news in the 90s the director reportedly uh smacked smacked Judy Garland across the phase it was a guy yeah smacked Judy Garland across the phase because she couldn't get a scene right no wow that's how you would have been back in the day when we can't get the big take oh i wish i wish i wish i could i wish i could call people to it and smack it around no no uh that that's some corporal punishment for people who don't listen to me it's right am i am i you want to spank us yeah i know no he just wants to get the hell out of here you say these things you say these things are on a 50 thousand watt radius age and people think i'm a tiger i'm a cat and a tyrant like he wants to spank us you know he's a bye no smacky partisan smacky across the face get this news right yeah stop reporting from twitter fake stories but speaking of fake stories is is it not true that one of the munchkins hung themselves on the set yep yeah yeah munchkin news among everything else chris apelito asks they could reach her butt what chris apelito asks one of the munchkins could reach her butt hey you throw a phone book underneath your shoes chris chris dafa we are sponsored in our big three by budget blinds ready for the georgia shooters named colk gray colk gray that's the it's not the father is that the no that was the kid the 14-year-old body cam footage was just released of the georgia do we have to say alleged don okay the alleged georgia school shooter colk gray and his father being questioned by police after he threatened to shoot up a middle school in 2023 Colin gray told police he had talked quite a bit about school shootings with his son colk gray then came out of the house and answered questions from the police the investigator said something like did you say something about a school shooting colt never i just told him i don't know what maybe they misheard somebody else i don't remember saying that and then the investigator says i got no word but to take i have i have i got no choice excuse me but to take your word for it okay uh so if you're watching on youtube youtube dot consized i've tried to pretend to be peachy you can see the video but here is the audio that goes along with it cut 22 perk go up hey colt it's going up saying that uh somebody from your old address over there in conditions yeah they made a threat shoot up school real yes sir but what tell them what you have any kids or anything like colk gray colk yeah colk all this time how does he he's 13 and do you have what he's in the house i've been successful to him there they are i mean there's nothing nothing loaded but they are okay we we actually we do a lot of shooting we do a lot of deer hunting he shot his first deer this year you know so like i'm pretty much in shock to be honest with you well i'm a little pissed off to be even really honest with you i don't know anything about him saying like that and i'm gonna be mad as hell if he did and then all the guns will go away and they won't be accessible you know we i'm trying to be honest we i'm trying to teach him about firearms and safety and how whatever or where this has come from is no joke no like it's no joke well it wouldn't be here no i know i know i know and i'm telling you right now we talk about it quite a bit all the school shootings things have happened yeah all care you getting picked on at school he is he's getting picked on at school he's just they're taking all the school so did your dad kind of explain or anything we'll shoot it up to school you know is there something about school shooting all right i just told i maybe didn't miss heard somebody else i was gonna say i was just you never ever said no that's why i hate to you know my boss was leaving like you know i don't know how old this information is and come away to monday to follow up i think yeah i gotta do it now just so we because guys did something happen i did my job that i feel pretty bad about that take edge word and i hope you're being honest with me i'm not saying in your life but it's it's seriously it's it's not unusual for people in life if you look me in the eye and you tell me that's what you're telling me i got no choice but they get your work right now but i guess if but like i was telling you dad we found that otherwise man it's their control but that's a really different story okay so i would say pretty standard routine run of the mill there officer you know based on what information he has and maybe whatever gut feeling what his gut is telling him about the body language or the demeanor of the child i know we do now know post shooting that the father and mother you know have been you know charged and there's some histories there but even the father just if i was just watching that isolated clip he seems shocked combination of maybe a little mad um although i would say and again i'm all for the second amendment and all the firearms in the world you want to have it's fine by me um i would just even though that they are the fact that they're not loaded i just feel like you should keep them in a safe secure place now he says they're down i don't know what down means as in not on a wall not in a safe not locked away whatever it might be um but then again we know that this i think you had cited it done with like some of the follow-ups that the father is he's got a track record right well he allegedly was verbally abusive right and so then there was a story that the mom had called her sister called the aunt who then called the school half an hour before the shooting um tragically happened and because the son had texted mom because mom did not have custody dad did mom had some drug problems so um they called the aunt called the school and and so they dropped the ball allegedly that that's one of the reports and that's one of the things that has been under investigation the other piece of this is that the school came out and said when did this happen because that encounter that Greg just played on the cut sheet the school was never informed of that and so they they've said we should have known that you actually questions somebody who that student is and that information unfortunately never went to the school they needed to have that information from the police from the police yeah there needs to be a communication coordination yeah you're right we went to the students home this is what the dad told us we had this conversation you know maybe you want a school counselor to follow up the dad in fact it would have been if they'd said the father mentioned the cold has been bullied for example right and so that would have been fantastic if they would have done that yeah they admitted yesterday that they did drop the ball multiple ways including that one yeah this is kind of like where there needs to be this i don't want to call it a chain of command but you know whether it's the so okay the the FBI finds out about this or the state police or the local police and then that needs to result in going like that officer did to that person's house and then the school needs to be informed and then the school can sit there and bring in the guidance counselors and then perhaps the parent brings in you know mental health treatment a psychologist a psychiatrist you know there should be four or five six different you know follow up steps here to ensure that it ultimately doesn't lead to that tragic day in Georgia but we always just routinely hear this there's well something slipped through the crack communication breakdown uh you know failure to blah blah blah blah and should you you try selling that to the people that lost their kids should the cops have done more to not just take his word for it that he didn't you know give a threat to to shooting up the school i i don't know i i'm just playing devil's advocate no so you heard that officer where his boss said do you want to wait until monday and he's like no i'd rather do it now which i commend him because you god forbid you wait two days and you're like i should have just went maybe i could have you know this was a year ago this was in 2023 yeah right yeah so when he was 13 i would just say this that think about it the dad just gave you a lot of information the father just told you that there are firearms in the home yep and that the 13-year-old does have access to the firearms that they're not locked up but they are unloaded but that he does have access yep so that that information to me is a game changer because we were told initially that law enforcement had questioned the dad but the dad had said that the firearms were not accessible to the then 13-year-old who is now accused in this murder of four people two teachers two students two kids so why then if they knew that he had access to the firearms and if they knew that this kid also was bullied that gave them the impetus to work then call social workers call the school call do a coordination and say hey we need to follow up on this and keep on top of this yeah because you have a kid whose bully victim this came from his house we know that and dad says he's actively actively being bullied and dad says he has access which i believe is against their law there in georgia and then on top of it that was what last fall or something then over christmas he gives the kid an arse fifth and ar fifteen yeah you can't do that which is against the against their their every state has different laws but apparently that's uh which i didn't know any state had this apparently you cannot gift or even give your your teenage son like a deer hunting rifle in georgia i just don't know if you're investigating something any any sort of procedure that it's like well we're taking your word for it okay see ya you know what i mean like like if there's a credit if there's credible evidence and there's a credit there's the truth if you have the evidence say whatever it is a social media chat room a social media page an audio on discord whatever it might be you you can't just stop the investigation based on what little johnny says right exactly you got to go further although what's the timeline of that so did they do the investigation they got the information they spoke to him then i would say well what else could the officer do ultimately like i feel like we just live in a world where we never want to put the responsibility on the person who commits the act it's like the tirey kill thing like this is not the cops fall this is tirey kills fall yeah right uh yeah sorry the fbi was the one so this with a protocol apparently and that's i always look at you know what could they have done i think they need to change their protocols quite frankly but the fbi flag the local cops local cops that are on the ground they go and they go to the house that's what happened here and so it sounds like there was no follow up not only with the local cops who you just played but then with the fbi and so that you have multiple layers going on here eight five five eight three nine twelve ten we'll come back get to your voicemails as well as today in music history who won twitter today and then what's on tap for the dawn show back after this on caylin company this is the caylin company podcast from talk radio twelve ten wpht and on the free odyssey app what do we have in the voicemail hopper by the way today's voicemail sponsored by malvern retreat house okay here we go so i had this thought about jobs and the economy with talk of bringing on helon musk to trim the fat is that a lot of jobs created our government jobs and so when you talk about cutting and slashing those are people that will be unemployed so we need to be careful how that plays in the uh in the ether well if he's going to read out and trim out all the fat with the bureaucrats gobbling up salaries in the federal government stealing money i'm okay with that which by the way trump labeled him he would be the chief of oversight government efficiency which is fascinating because i've never felt like government operates efficiently and if there's one guy that could do with d-line musk but if trump needs a second guy i would love to do that i've always felt like i would be great walking into any line of work and you sit me in a conference room and in 20 minutes bring your entire staff in yeah and i can tell you who's deadweight and who's not i truly believe that here's what trump is good at is it getting something like that out there to have the narrative is a great way to say we need government accountability we need to have a comptroller controller and so that's really the point is elan musk who you know put a rocket up this morning and he runs a big company and is he really going to work for the government and do this maybe he'll consult yeah but he's it but it's it to me it's a little bit you some yeah well i mean he's just busy yeah and trump even said that in the put that you played he's just a busy guy did he ask you by the way to use your name on that ship isn't dawn's name isn't your name attached to that that's right i allowed you said elan you go ahead good a copyright hilarious trick gone entirely kill just misgender katelyn calms pretty sure he called her man about six or seven times asking for a friend i've received a tweet about that it might be the same guy that left the voicemail he did say that a lot yeah um yeah okay you know she for the for the collins she you know she takes a lot of guff but yeah she's not terrible to watch i mean she's cutting sand she's cute she needs to trim trim the my brows a little bit yeah she got the jv dancing you know like the bushy eyebrows right now i don't help me out here so i don't sound sexist she does right he needs to trim those eyebrows that's the look okay well she don't she does have rbf though yeah she does hey guys this is buck kevin from bucks county bragstockersucks.com you can still donate yep and you can also donate to tyrik hill sucks.com and it'll support families behind the badge as well thank you kevin yes i i love his he's he's on top of everything right well i mean you know tyrik hill's uh you know a big fan of law enforcement as you can tell from that video so let me actually see did tyrik have a rough day after that arrest let's see what he did um now he had seven catches 130 yards and a touchdown on sunday and one of his touchdown celebrations was them hand-cuffing him yeah so it was all fun and games then and that surgically repaired knee boy he got like 40 points in fantasy yep uh okay that was the voicemail sponsored by mauver and retreat has visit mauver retreat has the nation's largest catholic retreat has located in chester county mauver retreat hosts men's and women's retreats
