Happy Labor Day! Mike Opelka in for Kayal & Company
This is Jean Marie Laskis with the podcast Cement City. So, there's this election coming up, a big one, and one guy's been indicted. People are talking voter fraud. Democracy itself is online. Sound familiar? Well, this isn't that election. This one is in Denora, Pennsylvania, a dying town in the middle of nowhere, where I bought a house and stayed for three years. Listen to and follow Cement City, an Odyssey original podcast in partnership with Cement City Productions, available now for free on the Odyssey app and wherever you get your podcasts. Kiel & Company, weekday morning, 6 till 10. We got the band back together. Yes, it's just you and me. So, uh, I know, so... There's nobody else in the building right now. It's literally just me. That's how it was on Friday when Jim Kelly was here and he was running around the Odyssey World Headquarters. I believe he had, uh, he actually brought his bowling ball in and he was bowling. He had set up some iced tea bottles in the hall. I mean, there is plenty of room for that. Yeah, yeah, it's great. But here we are. Happy Labor Day, everybody. Thanks for being here. We want to hear from everybody who's working. I need to know who's working today, even if you just call in and say, "I'm working." 855-839-1210, 855-839-1210. You can also reach out on social media. I'm on social media @stuntbrain on the Twitter X. I'm also on Facebook. I'm on Instagram, but who has time? Seriously. We have a lot going on today. Believe it or not, for a Monday since Friday, I know everybody goes, "Ah, it's going to be a dead weekend, a holiday weekend. Everybody's going to take their time, have their last summer barbecue, play a few rounds of golf." No, no, it was a busy weekend. As a matter of fact, after 16 days with his toes in the sand, Joe Biden is actually going to show up at the office today. And I know the office travels with the president, but Joe Biden and Kamal Harris are going to be in the situation room for a photo op. I mean for a meeting. They're going to be meeting because we had the horrific news yesterday that six of the hostages being held by the Hamas terrorists were executed, one of them being an American citizen, one of them being an American citizen. Did I mention an American citizen was executed by terrorists? Hirsch Goldberg, Poland. Israeli American citizen shot in the back of the head. It's not like he died of starvation, or he got lost in the tunnel system. They shot him in the back of the head when they heard the IDF was just minutes away. So the administration is gathering today in the situation room and they're going to put out a statement. And then Joe Biden and Kamal Harris are going to go out and campaign and they're going to Pittsburgh, obviously here in the state of Pennsylvania at critical swing state. It's also a state that has a pretty substantial Jewish population. And I wonder if there will be any pushback. We're hearing from the left side of the mainstream media that massive protests are crippling Israel today as the people are demanding their government and this war. Well, here's the news. Here's the big news. Hamas doesn't want to end it. Hamas wants all of you people in Israel dead. You're stupid if you think anything else. I really mean that you're stupid. I understand your loved ones are being held hostage. But you cannot argue, you cannot negotiate, you cannot deal with terrorists. Now, Hamas is first two principles in their charter. Number one, we don't negotiate. Number two, Israel has to go. It's so frustrating. It is so frustrating. We'll see that the way the mainstream media is covering it. They're covering this. This situation in Israel, more than they covered the death of the 13 Americans three years ago at Abbey Gate in Kabul at the Harmed Khazid Airport. And that situation is blown up in the faces of Kamal Harris and Joe Biden. Was that an unfortunate use of language blown up in the faces? I'm sorry. I hope that doesn't offend you. Really? The fact that Joe Biden and Kamal Harris a week ago today were not at Arlington National Cemetery. And then after they got embarrassed about it, they somehow crafted this crazy unsubstantiated story of a dust up and incident, as they called it, between Donald Trump's staff and the members of the of the staff at Arlington National apparently didn't happen based on the eyewitness reports of the families who were there mourning their loved ones. And over the week, we saw the left try and say Donald Trump was utilizing Arlington National for political purposes. And then what do we see? We saw Joe Biden walking around Arlington National in videos that he used. We saw Joe Biden walking around American cemeteries, American military cemeteries in France and making political statements about Donald Trump not being there. So, you know, your hypocrisy is showing you might want to tuck that back in. And after all of the dust up, then Kamala Harris's campaign put out a statement about Donald Trump politicizing Arlington National and have not everyone eight of the 13 gold star families have put out videos telling the story of how Donald Trump was there and Joe Biden was not. How Donald Trump was there and Kamala Harris was not. There is a compressed version of those eight videos we're going to play it because we're going to honor those families, those gold star families. We're going to honor their family members who are no longer here. And we're not going to be like Kamala Harris and Joe Biden who still have not said the names of the 13 victims out loud. Kamala Harris just posted on Twitter X that she and Joe Biden have had a phone conversation with the family of our American who was executed in Israel. I'm sorry, he was executing gazabities in American Israeli citizen. They want us to know that they've talked to the family of Hirsch Goldberg Poland. They haven't talked to any of the families of the 13 who were killed at Abigay. None of them. None of them. That tells you what they think is important. Used to be it used to be that if something like this happened, if you had 13 American soldiers killed because of the incompetence of the administration and you didn't go to honor them on the third anniversary. And then you tried to make a political message out of it. And the family stood up and said you stink on ice. I'm sure they said worse. And they said we never heard from them. Not so much of a phone call, not so much as an invitation to meet with them. Yeah, that's usually what disqualifies a candidate. But looking at the polling, it's still pretty tight today. 63 days and what is it? 17 hours and change until the election. Just over 63 days. Yeah, tomorrow will be like two months to the day when, you know, because it's Tuesday we have these elections. So I'm fired up today because I have plenty of audio to play about what happened. I also want to talk about some crazy stuff today. And I have a list of crazy topics, seriously crazy topics. But you always do, Mike. I do. You always do. Saturday nights are our bust. Listen to a radio. Thank you. You're welcome. Russian spy whale found dead in Norway. Yes, the Russians have they have recruited whales as spies and one of them apparently died in Norway. The four day work week, Japan is looking at the four day work week. And I thought we always looked at the Japanese culture as one that worked incessantly. They were crazed with their work. Now they're looking at a four day work week. marijuana, Donald Trump made a statement about the legalization of marijuana. And I'll read it if you're not a truth social reader and haven't gotten Donald Trump's words. Don't take what the left is telling you don't see what the mainstream media is saying. You need to get his own words because Trump makes sense. He's a boss. But we'll talk about that. And pennies, pennies, there is a major outcry about whether or not we should get rid of pennies. And it seems like we do this every couple of years. We're like, yeah, the penny is there. What do we do with the penny? Does anyone need the penny? Every time I go and I purchase something and I use cash because I use cash. So should you whenever you can. They always say, Oh, it's 397. Do you want the three pennies? No, I don't. I really don't. It might be time. We'll talk about that. What do you think? And I feel like once you see, we can find it. The space noise controversy. The space noise. Have you heard the space noises that they're hearing? Uh, which space noises are we talking about? Okay. Apparently Phil has more than one voice. I'll just say it. Now, here's the reality. We have the star liner from Boeing that went up to the International Space Station with two people there. They were supposed to be there eight days. I think eight days eight days. Yep. They packed for a weekend. There's the worst Airbnb ever. They're only going to be there for eight days. They packed. And on the way up somebody went, you know, there's a little bit of a helium lake or hydrogen. There's a leak and maybe we shouldn't risk going back on this one. So they're going to be there until February. They're not coming back. I know that Elon Musk has offered to send up one of his rockets because he's got a bunch of them lying around. And he's also been sending supplies up. I hope they sent underwear and socks because I don't think there's a washing machine in space. What did they jettison the old clothes send about into space? So you like, have you a worn space on these or out there circulating? I guess they burn up on reentry or something. But the the star liner spaceship apparently has some sounds that are freaking out the people on board the space station. And NASA can't explain it yet, either. They're hearing it. Is it a heartbeat? Is it a pulsation? Is it aliens? I don't know. It's this is the craziest stuff. We have all this serious stuff. And we have a we have a crazy local story here too. As I have this Friday, or was it last Friday was the debut or the return of the high school football scoreboard on Friday nights? Was it this week or last week? Phil, do you remember? I do not remember. I think it was last week. Okay, because this week, this week, we had a cancellation. And I'm sure somebody out there has the details on this, but there was a football game canceled between Northstown and upper Marion. And it's because of what was going on outside of the stadium. They had a huge fight outside of the stadium. The annual battle of the bridge between Northstown and upper Marion. And the superintendents from both school districts had to put out a statement that said due to a halftime series of altercations in the parking lot, five juveniles have been taken into custody. All were members of the Northstown area school district. And Chief Kelly over there at Northstown saying, it's a shame because it's a small group of individuals went out in the parking lot, start a fight. Yeah, it's always a small group of people is ruining it for everyone. ABC six had the chopper overhead. It was crazy. I was not on the air Saturday night because I worked all week and I'm working today. And then I'll be back again this Saturday, but it was crazy, crazy. So somebody's got to have the details on but five kids apparently won't be going to homecoming dance for their behavior outside. So they put the kibosh on the game because of that. So we have local stuff. We have big international stuff. We have election stuff. And then we have to figure out pennies. Should they stay or should they go? I'll give you the details on the Russian spy whales. I just wonder how many spy whales Putin has. And do we have? Do we have spy whales? Not that I know of, but it's possible at this point. See, I think SeaWorld was like recruiting a recruiting area for the CIA. Can you see after the after they feed the fish to the to the killer whales, which I know aren't whales, and then then the CIA comes up to the trainer and I was, can I talk to you about bubbles over there? We think bubbles would be a good, a good recruit to serve our country. I think we have got to have spy whales. We got to have spy sharks or something. Wasn't this an Austin powers thing? I believe it was somebody who correct us on that. 855-839-1210. We're kicked off. We're off the ground. The plane's in the air. We got a lot to get to today. It's Labor Day. Are you working today? Are you working today? Hey, actually speaking of that, Scott has on the line regarding that. You want to talk to them? Yes, I do. Okay. Scott, Scott, good morning. Where are you from? And what are you doing today? Hey, good morning. I'm from, I'm actually from Middletown, Delaware. I appreciate you having me on. So, I want to let you know, I'm not only am I working today. I work every single holiday. I am retail. Oh my God. Can we say God bless you to retail people? Are you on the floor? Do you have to stand all day? Yeah. So, I'm a retail manager and one of the local retail stores and I'm there 12, 13 hour days usually. So, I'm on the floor walking around and, you know, I deal with like six different departments. So, yeah, it's pretty crazy. So, Scott, first of all, thank you for working. We appreciate you for being there today. Second, is the loss prevention? Is the shoplifting as bad as they're telling us? Is it getting bad? It's worse. It's so funny because about 20 years ago, I worked security actually at the same mall that I work at right now. And it was pretty bad back then, but all now is everything stands off. You can't stop them. You can see them load a bag. You can't stop them. You can't get your product back. You can't have them arrested. They walk in, they clear a hole, a whole rack, throw it into a cart and just walk out the front door. Oh my God. Oh my God. I know the colds by me in North Wilmington has had to close one entrance just because they couldn't cover both doors. And people were just running out and jumping into minivans and taking off with stuff. It's crazy. And I know giant foods in Maryland now won't let unescorted teenagers in after 6 p.m. That you have to have a parent with you. We do that as well, but we don't have somebody up front necessarily that is just standing there waiting for them. So you have kids. And honestly, if we see a group of kids walking around in the store and they're behaving themselves and not doing anything dumb and whatnot, usually we just kind of cool with that. But you do have some knuckleheads that get kicked out of the other stores because we're at the mall, kicked out of the other stores, and then where do they end up coming to come to my store? Are you a big store? Are you an anchor store? We're a big store. I'm not going to give it the which one we are, but we're a big store. And we the sad part is that it's not just that there's bus stops there. People come in from the bus stops and they they OD in the parking lots. And it's just a mess and it's sad because like when we were allowed to back in the day stop people and whatnot, you at least slowed it down. People got word that hey, things are happening there. Now people get word that hey, this is a place that if you need to go grab stuff, go grab stuff. And that's all over the mall. It's not just not just our store. Yeah, I'm sure it is. Can we say which mall it is? Yeah, it's Christiana mall. I was gonna when you said bus stops and you're you live in Middletown. I thought that's close enough. Yeah, it's it used to be an incredible mall. It's still a beautiful mall, but it's a shame to hear that there's just no control. And you used to see a whole bunch of state troopers in the front row of the parking lot just outside the restaurant area. You know, there used to be a whole bunch of them. The mall the mall security. I'm going to tell you, like, I'm very friendly with them. And I like again, like I used to work for them about 20 years ago. But they do the best they can, you know, with with being handcuffed themselves. We're a good group of people. You know, we sometimes we call them over and we're like, hey, you know, we're allowed to trust past people. So we'll trust past people and we'll literally say, you know, that, you know, they're not allowed back in the store, but you're not allowed to to intervene at all. You can't get your product back. You can't, you know, you can't even accuse them of anything really just kind of. So it's messy. It's messy. The problem is that it's not just this mall. It's everywhere. It's everywhere. Because I've gone over to other stores of being that I'm a retail manager, you know, I look at what other people are doing. I see where how they secure their stuff. And I'll even I'll even go over to one of the managers and say, hey, you know, you have a problem with this or you have a problem with that. And they'll tell me, yeah, you know, what we're doing? We're we're taking all the product and we're putting one on display and we're throwing everything in the back room and a customer has to ask for it. And we go do it and they lock it up with cables and locks. It's crazy. It is crazy. And and thank you for sharing your story. And thank you for being there retail, especially you floor workers are just you're the front lines. And we need you. You really are essential workers. Thanks for being there today, brother. Thanks for listening. We always appreciate you. Well, thanks for having me, man. You have a great day. Be safe. Same be safe. There he goes. It's amazing how so many people who work in today. Well, the postal workers aren't and the garbage men aren't working today. And well, federal holiday, you know, you know how it is. It's Michael Pelka in for Cale & Company 627 on Talk Radio 1210 WPhD. This is the Cale & Company podcast from Talk Radio 1210 WPhD and on the free Odyssey app. This is Jean Marie Laskis with the podcast Cement City. So there's this election coming up, a big one, and one guy's been indicted. People are talking voter fraud. Democracy itself is on the line. Sound familiar? Well, this isn't that election. This one is in Danora, Pennsylvania, a dying town in the middle of nowhere where I bought a house and stayed for three years. Listen to and follow Cement City, an Odyssey original podcast in partnership with Cement City Productions, available now for free on the Odyssey app and wherever you get your podcasts. Did a little social media check in during the break and I see road warriors already up and rolling with us. Glad you're here, Road Warrior, another fine member of the law enforcement community retired, however, and always a loyal member of the Zioli Army and this WPhD family. So we appreciate you being there. Brought up an interesting point about Israel. You forgot to mention that our State Department and clandestine services are most likely behind the rent-emob as they usually are to remind Netanyahu who's boss like they do all over the world. That's that's pretty accurate, pretty accurate. You'll see the the protests going on in Israel and they're mostly labor unions, not necessarily the great population of the state of Israel, but we'll keep you posted on all that. It is Labor Day. Are you working? 855-839-1210. Do you want to talk about anything you're welcome to? I have an agenda, I have topics, but then I also have an interest in hearing what Tony has to say. Tony, good morning. Where are you calling from? Hi. Hello. Tony, are you are there, Tony? Where are you calling from, buddy? I'm calling from Passdown, Pennsylvania. Welcome. I'm working. Oh, thanks for taking my call. I appreciate it. I'm a retired police officer and I went back to work thanks to Bidenomics. I also work retail. I work security. Like a prior caller, it's a joke anymore. We're called asset protection, but we rely on cameras and most of the people that still don't get caught and if they do get caught, they get off pretty lightly. It's got only repeat offenders by a ton. When they get caught a few times and some prosecution takes place, but other than that, it's a joke. I can't tell you who I work for, but it's a big box store. And last year, they lost not millions, but $6.8 billion in theft. And most of it was from, yeah, $6.8. You can look it up. It's in most of your financial reports or magazines. $6.8, $6.8, it's incredible. And 50% of it comes from the self-chuck out. So now the wisdom from the home office, there's a rethinking self-chuck out because it's a joke. It's really is. But anyway, I went back to work no sooner than this idiot got elected. I think three months in March, I went back to work because I told my wife there's no way I was going to lose a lot of money and I was right. Well, first of all, thanks for your service to your community as a law enforcement guy. And we always appreciate all of you. And I'm glad you may. I hope you're pension solid because that's you earned it and you should be getting every penny of it. I'm sorry you have to get out there and work, but at least you're probably in a safe environment. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I did get hurt a couple of times on the job, but nothing. I'm not pushing daisies. That's for sure. So I'm glad of that. I'm grateful for that. I wasn't a lot of flights. Well, you know, that's that happens. We know that we see it on all the body camp video that's out there. Let me ask you a question. As a as a member of law enforcement and, you know, retired law enforcement. Did you guys use in terms of less lethal technology? I know the firearms are obviously the last resort, but there's less lethal technology. Did you guys use tasers often? No, I retired almost 20, almost 23 years ago. So that you sound like you're at the zoo and they just let a lion look. Yeah, I just walked out and I just walked out to get a press or share. No, they were just coming out the tasers then. No, we didn't have that kind of technology. And my fact, we when I retired, we still didn't have computers in the cars, but it was fun. I enjoyed working. I don't know. We've got one minute of it. And now it's just a long course. My still talk. I'm still a member of the UP and I speak to the younger guys and it just they don't appreciate it. They're not appreciated. They're not, you know, it seems like the politics involved really ended their job. And and there's not that much recruitment. Well, we are we are hoping, Tony, that that the the commitment to recruitment will return, because after spending my two decades plus in New York City and having members, many friends on the NYPD, and knowing a bunch of people here who are members of law enforcement, state police, as well as county monies, and some of the local cops, it's a calling. And it's a special calling that deserves our respect, instead of just looking down upon and even the thought of defunding is infuriating. So from all of us who never get the chance to shake your hand and say, thank you. Thanks for your service. And I'm sorry I had to go back to work. But at least you're going to be safe. I know that. Thank you. Yeah. Well, thank you very much. Robert, thank you. Thank you. Got it. Kind of interesting that the topic of self checkout came up in the conversation when the when Tony talked about $6.8 billion being lost by one big box store. I think we can all surmise it probably rhymes with small mart. I was pretty pretty sure that was the case. Yeah. Yeah, if you look at it, and I'm a self checkout fan. I am the biggest self checkout fan. I will avoid going to a register with a clerk just because it has nothing to do with the clerks. Okay, it does. It has nothing to do with the efficiency of their packing. Okay, it has everything to do with the efficiency of the packing as a former grocery store bagger. Nobody packs a bag better than I do. And I know how to get the maximum amount of stuff into a bag, minimum numbers of bags. So I'm always the self checkout guy, even if there's nobody at the checkers stand. And I know I know somebody's going to call in yellow me, but I'm sorry. I do it better. And I know how it's done. And I always get nervous when the machine goes, Oh, you put the wrong item in the bag, because it knows the weight apparently of the item before you put it in the bag. And if you, you know, you screw up, I, I would never think of stealing food. But then again, I'm not hungry. So losing $8 billion in because of mostly self checkout has got to be stunning for the people whose company name rhymes with small mart. I'm just saying craziness. I got to do a couple of updates here and a couple of stories as I'm watching things happening. And there are so many things going on in the world today. I do have, we're talking about crime with Tony. And we were talking about the fact that the people who steal from these stores. So we had Tony and Scott, two people both representing the retail world today, talking about retail theft. That's a lot of people will be going out shopping today, as well as barbecuing. The fact that people are released, that's stunning to me. But that's shoplifting. What about shooting people? There was a story of this weekend. And I'm sure those of you are being big into the sports obsessed. I know Nick is obsessed with the return of football, the return of college football. I follow Nick and I enjoy his posts on social media. I'm not a gambler. So I don't understand that obsession. And for those of you who do good for you, God bless, I'd rather be out playing golf. Yeah, we play for a dollar a whole. We don't, we don't gamble. So I'm wondering how this story out of San Francisco will affect all that gambling stuff and all of the, all of the rotisserie people or whatever you call them who pick their teams and play their, their football games against each other, which is such a giant, what a massive waste of time. I'm sorry. But it's so fun. I love it. I don't care. It's a waste of time. Fantasy football league is a gigantic waste of time. How much, how much productivity in America is wasted on stupid fantasy football? Anyway, Ricky Pearson was the first round pick in the 2024 NFL draft by the San Francisco 49ers. The guy's a quarterback. He was shot on Saturday in San Francisco at Union Square shot in the, in the chest. And thank God the bullet missed all the organs shot through the chest. Didn't hit any vital organs. He was released on Sunday. What a stinkin miracle this is. But here's the weird part. They got the guy. He had been arrested earlier with a gun and had been set free. And guess what? He's probably going to be set free too until his court date. He shot. Now, if if we don't understand how bad San Francisco is destroyed, one of the greatest cities in the world used to be just what a great place to go. The gate yard, gateway to the vineyards, all the great stuff about San Francisco. And now it's a place where people are pooping in the streets. And they're, it's an open drug market. They're robbing from every store possible. Major corporations are leaving by in droves. And now the number one draft choice gets shot in the, in the chest, in, in daylight, Ricky Pearson. He is lucky to be alive. Number one. But the guy who shot him probably going to be out. Probably waiting, waiting trial. Yep. That's just amazing. Shot. He struggled. The guy, the suspect, the shooter, was allegedly trying to steal the Rolex that he was, he was wearing while he was going to sign autographs. Unbelievable. Unbelievable story. I can't wait to see the statements from Mayor London breed. Yeah. Maybe I'll actually, I'll get this statement myself, because I'm going to be actually out there next weekend. Phil, who has Phil, who is a trust Affarian has some kind of trust fund that allows him to travel the sporting events and concerts all over the country every single month. I try. I try you do try and you impress. You got to Mount Rushmore before I did, which is so cool. I'm still jealous. But I will get to Lincoln's eye. I will get to the conference room if you did not get no, I did not. I didn't actually know about that until later. But anyway, we do need to take a break. Okay. Let's say it's a 645. It's so palka. I've got so many stories and clips. Yes, we're going to play the tribute clip. We might play it twice. May we'll end the hour with this tribute from the families, the gold star families, the ones that Connell Harrison, Joe Biden totally insulted and dissed. It's heartbreaking, but it's important. It's a palka and for Kalen Company, happy Labor Day on Talk Radio 1210W PhD. It's a Kalen company on demand from talk radio 1210W PhD and the free Odyssey app. Going to try and get to all the serious news. There is serious news coming out of Israel, serious news coming out of this country. And we also had a little bit of a social media kerfuffle over the weekend as Connell Harrison, her team tried to mock Donald Trump, tried to go after Donald Trump for appearing alongside the gold star families a week ago today honoring the loss of those 13 service members and the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan by the Biden Harris administration. And in doing so and going after Donald Trump, they raised the ire of the gold star families and the gold star families got together to pay tribute to their lost family members, but also to talk about Donald Trump and presented to you in honor of those families. A special message from eight gold star families. Vice President Harris. Vice President Harris. Vice President Harris. My name is Steve Nakui. I'm the father of Lance Corporal Kareem M. Nakui. My name is Jim McCollum. I am the gold star father of United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal Riley McCollum. This is Mark Schmutz, gold star father of Marie Lance Corporal Jared Schmutz. My name is Darren Hoover and I'm a gold star father of the United States Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Taylor Hoover. My daughter-in-law Sergeant Nicole Leanne G. was killed in the Afghanistan exit at Abigayt. Our kids were murdered because of your administration. You were not at Dover for the dignified transfer and no time have you reached out to me to offer your condolences, to offer thank you for Kareem's sacrifice and service. Get 13 families. We've been waiting over three years to so much as get a phone call. To so much as hear our kids' names settle out. You've failed for three years and eight months. To acknowledge our kids, where were you and Joe Biden on August 26, 2024? Nowhere near Arlington Cemetery. You couldn't be bothered to be with us or even say our kids' names just as you have done for the last three years. Vice President Harris, I ask you, why won't you return a call and explain to us how you call my daughter-in-law's death a success? President Trump has called. President Trump shows up. President Trump takes the time to hear our loved one's stories. We invite him to be there. These are the only memories we get to make with our son and it is you who is playing politics and trying to detract from our memories made that day. President Trump has been there for us. He's been a rock for us. He's showed compassion for us and he showed he truly cares for the families that truly do know what the ultimate sacrifice really is. It's a powerful statement and it's also an abbreviated version of the eight individual video statements. If we could, we'd play them all here, but I think that's an important reminder to everybody that this freedom ain't free. This great Labor Day we get to, most of us get to enjoy with our friends and family an extra day off, maybe a little barbecue, the people who protect that freedom and give us these days. Well, there's a whole bunch of those families that don't have a big fun day planned today. First hour in the books, it's who Palka, I'm in for Calent Company today. Yes, yes, we're doing the cut sheet, all of it, even Phil's music minute. We got a little history coming up today. Start your day with Calent Company, weekday morning six till 10, on Tark Radio 1210, WPHD and the free Odyssey app. Phil's here, but Phil, you didn't get the progression. My friend, Nikhail, my friend, Don Stensland, my boss, Greg Stocker. Of course, I understand that. He's also my friend. He's a everyone's friend, brand manager, Gregory Stocker. Labor Day, if you have to work, we want to hear from you, eight, five, five, eight, three, nine, 12, 10. Where are you? What are you doing? We want to salute you. We're also talking about several topics today. Of course, the assassination of an American held hostage in Gaza by the Hamas terrorists, CNN calling it, he was dead. No, he was assassinated. They shot him in the back of the head because they heard the IDF was approaching. So they assassinated the people they've held for 330 days. And Joe Biden was resuscitated and he made a statement or put out a statement saying, make no mistake, Hamas leaders will pay for these crimes. Will they? Will they really? You're negotiating with Yaya Sinwar, the Hamas leader. Are you squeezing Iran by the Cajonis to stop them? Because they're the ones who are funding Hamas and Hezbollah and the Houthis. And by the way, the Houthis took down an oil tanker in the Red Sea, and it's now an environmental disaster leaking more oil than the Exxon Valdez did years ago, and nobody's talking about it. This is so infuriating. And watch the left attempt to turn this assassination of six innocent people into a call. We must have a two state solution. We must stop the war. Now, if you get Israel to lay down their arms, Hamas wins. That's that's the only answer. I said at the very opening. Hamas has rule one. We don't negotiate rule two. Israel must all be wiped out all of them from the river to the sea. What do you think that means to me? Everybody knows it. That means the annihilation of Israel. The other story that gained a lot of traction over the weekend is the Arlington National Cemetery story with Donald Trump showing up a week ago today and honoring the 13 members of the American military who lost their lives due to the incompetence of the Biden-Harris administration. A week ago today, Donald Trump was there. A week ago today, we read the names on air on the Zioli show. A week ago today, Donald Trump laid a wreath, and suddenly the people on the left were freaking out because they got caught not doing the right thing yet again. Kamala Harris could have been there. Joe Biden could have been there. He was on the beach. He's not going to be on the beach today. He's going to be in the sitch room in the situation room. Kamala Harris could have been there. She was what 10 miles away. Her mansion is 10 miles away from Arlington National Cemetery. She doesn't have to stop for traffic lights. They have a motorcade zoom right through it. She could have been there in minutes. She could have stood there with those families. She could have held their hands. She didn't. You know where else she was not? She was not at the transfer, the dignified transfer of the coffins of the 13 soldiers when they were brought home. She didn't show up. Joe was there. Joe looked at his watch. Remember, we've got the pictures. Joe looked at his watch and according to some of the discussions from the parents of the Gold Star families, the parents who lost children due to the incompetence of this cacustocracy government by the worst possible people. That's who they are. Harris, Biden, Biden, Harris, Biden talked about his son dying. His son, Bo Biden dying. He didn't die in combat, sir. He wasn't blown up by a terrorist. No, no, he died years after and granted brain cancers a horrible thing. But Biden did not die in combat like these 13 heroes. Now yesterday on Meet the Press, Kristen Welker was facing off with Tom Cotton, Senator Tom Cotton. And Tom Cotton, by the way, really doing a good job being a Trump surrogate without kind of formerly being a Trump surrogate. Tom Cotton yesterday on Meet the Press with Kristen Welker. And well, just enjoy this little moment here. Bottom line though, I guess, Senator, is it ever appropriate to make campaign content at military grade? He didn't take campaign photos there. These families, Gold Star families, whose children died because of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's incompetence invited him to the cemetery. And they asked him to take those photos, because as they told me yesterday, when I spoke to Kelly Barnett and Darren Hoover, the parents of Taylor Hoover, who has Arkansas ties, they don't get to go to the beach on Labor Day. They don't get to have barbecues. This is their one chance to have a memory of their children to commemorate their service and honor their sacrifice. They wanted President Trump there. They wanted to take those photos. You know who the family has also invited? Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Where were they? Joe Biden was sitting at a beach. Kamala Harris was sitting at her mansion in Washington DC. She was four miles away, ten minutes. She could have gone to the cemetery and honored the sacrifice of those young men and women. But she hasn't. She never has spoken to them or taken a meeting with them. But they didn't meet with them during the dignified training. They were with them at the dignified training. Her and her and Joe Biden's incompetence, those 13 Americans were killed in Afghanistan. Tom Cotton making great points. And Kristen Wellker saying they were there. They were. How dare you? She didn't say how dare you. It was kind of implied. They were there. No. Biden was there looking at his watch. Apparently an episode of SpongeBob was on that he didn't want to miss and he wanted to make sure or his medication time was coming up. I don't know which. But Kamala Harris was not there. Meet the press had to issue a correction after that. Meet the press had to put out a statement saying our broadcast this morning. We incorrectly implied both President Biden and Vice President Harris attended the dignified transfer of 13 American service members killed during the Afghanistan withdrawal. Biden was in attendance. Harris was not. Thank you. Wellker should have put out the statement. Wellker should have been the one coming forward and making that statement. She did not. She was not there. It's really interesting to me. And the fact that Joe Biden has now posted a statement saying that he's devastated and outraged at the killing of an American citizen. He's devastated and outraged. Not enough to leave the beach right away. He left later. But the the assassination, the killing of Hirsch Goldberg Poland among the other innocents and there's still other Americans being held. But do you ever hear anything about America? Oh, we're doing this to get our American hostages back. When the Iranians held 53, was it American hostages for 444 days? ABC News thought it was important enough that we had a network TV show that was born on that first day of the tragedy of the Americans being held hostage. Ted Koppel and Nightline was created to cover the fact that Americans were being held by a hostile government by the Iranians. Ted Koppel launched his whole successful career on Nightline. And this American media is absent. They're just abdicating their journalistic responsibilities. I don't even think they can call themselves journalists anymore. It's awful. It's terrible. A couple other stories we have to make sure we get to. I know I'm I'm really ticked off about this because there is there's no greater calling than to serve and protect your country. And that's what the members of the military and law enforcement do military doing it around the world law enforcement doing it around the block. And they are the greatest. And I'm not the only one who's outraged by this. Tulsi Gabbard, who has been pretty darn remarkable. And I think Donald Trump has scored one of the most amazing, amazing, uh, gets with Tulsi Gabbard, also with Robert Kennedy Jr., also with Elon Musk. When you look at it, Trump used to be a Democrat. He woke up. Tulsi Gabbard used to be a Democrat. She woke up. How about that? Elon Musk used to be a Democrat. He woke up. They are the Avengers, if you will. I'm not a superhero fan. Not a superhero fan at all. But, uh, they they appear to be the Avengers of politics being assembled by Donald Trump. There was a it's not my thinking. There was a woman who put forward that idea. That's a fantastic name calling him the Avengers of politics. And, uh, the fact that these are African American women noticing this is the technique that Donald Trump is putting together to bolster. See, the base is always going to be there. The base is not going anywhere. But this, uh, this gathering of these, these extra brains from outside of the tent in 2020, they're now inside the tent. They are going to help greatly in the coming days before the election. Yesterday, uh, Tulsi showed up on CNN with, um, Dan Abash who, uh, Phil, you don't know this, but we renamed it Dan Abash on this The Only Show. Were you aware of that? No, I was not aware of that. Are you aware of the, uh, the classic television cartoon underdog? Yes, of course. And who was underdog's girlfriend? I, it's 714 in the morning on Labor Day. I just, I can't. Come on, Phil. Come on. I know it's in there. Underdog had a girlfriend who happened to be a TV reporter. And she was blonde, had a similar haircut to Dan Abash. And her name was Sweet Polly Purebred. Oh, yes, of course. Because remember underdog was a dog. You couldn't have him dating outside his species. That would have been just too weird, even in the 70s, 60s cartoon world. So I, I have renamed Dan Abash as Sweet Polly Purebred because the resemblance is just striking to me. Excellent. I like it. I like it. And if you will, if you'll do a quick Google image search, you'll see Sweet Polly Purebred and then you won't be able to unsee it every time you see Dan Abash. So yesterday on the State of the Onion there on CNN, A Tulsi Gabbard talking about the Arlington national story. And I think she brings up a really important point here without getting too heavily political. But she's kind of pointing a finger at the media. Just like to say one, one last thing on this because I think it's important. And I've seen a lot of the headlines and the stories and the concerns that people are raising about this, but, but to me as a soldier and as someone who has been deployed to different war zones in the world. And I have friends who are buried there at section 60. What is more outrageous to me is that there wasn't universal coverage of the momentous day of the third anniversary of the loss of these 13 gold star families and the outrage that they feel that they that their loved ones are not getting the kind of coverage and memory that their great sacrifice deserves that that is what everyone should be outraged about. Well, yeah, we have covered the horrible, horrible events three years ago and and have done so several times over and over again. So I appreciate you also talking about their memories because it is important. Yeah, it sounds like she's trying to cover her butt there trying to cover the network, stereo over and over again. We covered the horrible events. Yeah, but you didn't cover the funeral. You didn't cover the honoring. You didn't cover the wreath laying. You didn't do your job. Sweet poly pure bread. I know that's very wrong. I didn't say that. But trust me, people during during the next commercial break, put it in the Google machine and put in sweet poly pure bread or underdogs girlfriend in Danabash who by the way, Danabash's husband or I think they're ex now. I don't know. Maybe they are. She's had a couple husbands. Not there's anything wrong with that. Danabash's husband, a guy named Jeremy Bash, was one of the 51 people, 51 intelligence officers who signed that letter in 2020 claiming that the Hunter Biden laptop had all the earmarks of Russian disinformation. Do we think there's too close for connection between say, CNN anchor and one of the people who was trying to a month, less than a month before the 2020 election smear Donald Trump and diminish the Hunter Biden laptop, which we all knew was real. You all knew was real. But the left didn't want you to see it. Just throwing that out there. Let's connect the dots on all this. All right, we are, we are in Monday mode, which is a holiday mode. It is Labor Day mode. It's Opelka. I'm in for Kalen company. Although I'm here, we're going to still do a cut sheet. I'm going to do the cut sheet as close to 745 as we can. Phil is going to do his historical segment on music at the end of the program. Since I'm such a personal responsibility defender of your right to defend yourself, I want to talk about something that is not a gun, but Judge Janine Pirro is now talking about this same technology. And it's just an alternative because a lot of people are saying, well, I don't really feel safe, but I don't want to have a gun around the kids. I don't want to go around the house. No, it's not a taser, but it's something I've had for six months. And I think it's worth the discussion. We'll take care of that today. And are you working today? We want to hear from you. 855-839-1210 is the number 855-839-1210. It's Opelka in for Kalen company on talk radio 1210-WPHD. It's Kalen company on demand from talk radio 1210-WPHD and the free Odyssey app. We had a little bit of gray skies yesterday, and then the sun was peeking out. Should be a pretty decent day. I'm not playing golf today. My buddies are my golf posse is teeing off and three minutes. So I'm only a little jealous, but I love being here on the radio. It is my labor of love truly Opelka in for Kalen company. You're welcome to join us or you're working today. 855-839-1210 is the number a lot to get to today. We will do a cut sheet as close to 745 as possible. And there are a lot of additions to some of the stories we've been talking about already, as well as updates on some stories. And at the end of the program, Phil will give us his historical take on this day in music. Phil, are you covering the tragic death of Fat Man's scoop in Connecticut over the weekend? No, about as much as CNN is covering the murder of the Israel or the American actually. Yeah, that's sad but true. Yes, I mean, it's fact, but no, I am not. So anything, is there something big every day? There's, I mean, it's kind of like Don does news every day, which, you know, so I got news every day. Sure. Okay. Do you want to tease anything or not? Something pretty big happened on this day in 95. I'll tell you that. 1995. 1995. That's correct. 1995. Let me think of what happened. 1995. I did not. I had no, that's not that. That's closer to 92, I think. Well, I can't wait. So Phil will be here with the look at the music. We didn't mention anything about the Phillies because I was watching the US Open Tennis tournament last night. Phil, did the Phillies win last night? Yes, they did as I saw on the news. Yes, they did. Okay. Glad to see that. And football starts on Friday. The Eagles are going to Brazil. Are they already there? It would seem to make sense. I'm not sure if they're there. Usually for road games, they go a couple days, two or three days before. So they may not be there yet. It's like a 12-hour flight. I mean, there are games overseas in like London too. So London is the six-hour flight on a slow flight. I understand. We're talking, you got a flight in Miami, then you got to gas up, and it's another nine hours to Sao Paulo. And you can't use your Twitter while you're there. That's the other problem. A lot of people are calling for the NFL to move the game out of Brazil. They've been doing this. The outcry happened late last week when people were saying, "Hold on a second. Brazil has blocked Twitter and blocked anyone from using Twitter. I know this to be true. My brother who is currently in Brazil, my brother who writes, he writes stuff for the Wall Street Journal. In case you're reading your op-ed pieces in the Wall Street Journal, Greg Opelka, he writes, he's kind of about 65 in the last two or three years. So he's pretty prolific. But he's in Brazil. He said, "I can't get on Twitter. I can't get my Twitter fix." And I'm just thinking, Greg Stocker wishes that they would block Twitter here so Nick couldn't be on Twitter all day long, which he probably will be doing. But just that fact that a country is blocking access to a social media outlet has many saying that the NFL should pull the game out. Now they're not going to do that. It's not going to happen. There's too much money involved. And this is Jean Marie Laskis with the podcast Cement City. So there's this election coming up, a big one, and one guy's been indicted. People are talking voter fraud. Democracy itself is on the line. Sound familiar? Well, this isn't that election. This one is in Danora, Pennsylvania, a dying town in the middle of nowhere, where I bought a house and stayed for three years. Listen to and follow Cement City, an Odyssey original podcast in partnership with Cement City Productions, available now for free on the Odyssey app and wherever you get your podcasts. Phil's here, but Phil, you didn't get the progression. My friend Nikail, my friend Don Stensland, my boss, Greg Stocker. Of course I understand that. He's also my friend. He's everyone's friend, brand manager, Gregory Stocker. Labor Day, if you have to work, we want to hear from you 855-839-1210. Where are you? What are you doing? We want to salute you. Yes, they did. Okay. Glad to see that. And football starts on Friday. The Eagles are going to Brazil. Are they already there? It would seem to make sense. I'm not sure if they're there. Usually for road games, they go a couple days, two or three days before. So they may not be there yet. It's like a 12 hour flight. I mean, there are games overseas in like London too. So London is the six hour flight. I understand. I understand. We're talking, you got to fly to Miami, then you got to gas up and it's another nine hours to Sao Paulo. And you can't use your Twitter while you're there. That's the other problem. A lot of people are calling for the NFL to move the game out of Brazil. They've been doing this. The outcry happened late last week when people were saying, hold on a second. Brazil has blocked Twitter and blocked anyone from using Twitter. I know this to be true. My brother, who is currently in Brazil, my brother who writes, he writes stuff for the Wall Street Journal in case you're reading your op-ed pieces in the Wall Street Journal, Greg Opelka. He writes, he's got about 65 in the last two or three years. So he's pretty prolific. But he's in Brazil. He said, I can't, I can't get on Twitter. I can't get my Twitter fix. And I'm just thinking Greg Stocker wishes that they would block Twitter here so Nick couldn't be on Twitter all day long, which he probably will be doing. But just that fact that a country is blocking access to a social media outlet has many saying that the NFL should pull the game out. Now, they're not going to do that. It's not going to happen. There's too much money involved. And even though it seems like it would make sense, I'm old enough to remember when the Major League Baseball Organization pulled its all-star game out of Atlanta because they, they thought that there were some suppression of votes going on. Never mind the fact that more people voted in Georgia that year than in almost forever. They were pulling out of, of Georgia and basically sticking it to the economy of Georgia because they were making a political statement. But here with the NFL, it's, it's Green Bay against the Eagles in the opener. Phil, is that right? Um, actually, well, technically the opener is Thursday, which is the, uh, I'm talking about the Eagles. No, I understand. But the Eagles, yes, they are playing the Packers. But, but the day before is there is actually a game with the day before. So it's not like the Eagles. It's the first game. No, it's the Eagles. But the Eagles first game. Yes, that is correct. What you said is arguing with my wife here. I'm just trying to make sure people know that the Eagles is not the very first NFL game, but their first game is Friday. So it's Friday in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where if you say to anyone, do you like football, you know, to go to football? And they think soccer. So we're expanding the universe. I don't see how this is a good idea for the NFL, because to outfit an entire soccer team costs just a little more than outfitting one football player. You know, if you think about it, if you, if you have to buy, uh, cleats, shorts, protective undergarments, and a shirt for a soccer player and maybe some shin guards, it doesn't cost that much. But if you have to buy a helmet, shoulder pads, chest protection, you have to buy a under protective undergarments, a jersey, pants, maybe protective equipment on the thigh and shins, and then cleats, that's what it costs for one player. It's almost as much as outfitting an entire team in soccer. And Brazil is not exactly crushing it when it comes to economies. I know there's pretty strong economy, but they're not like the United States. So I don't know how the NFL thinks they're going to expand it to other countries by doing this. It just seems like it's a fool's errand. And I'm not saying football shouldn't be your number one sport. I'm just saying it's a lot cheaper to get kids running around on the soccer field than it is. And if the NFL were going to move it, they would have done it last week. Can you imagine if you planned your vacation to go see the opening, the season opener of the Eagles in Brazil, and then the NFL went, we're going to move it to Connecticut, because we found an open stadium. You'd be a little ticked off. And how how many Philadelphians, how many people from Green Bay have made the trip? I wonder. Do you know anybody felt it? Phil, how did you not go to this? Well, one, I'm going to San Francisco. Oh, it's not the Jets. That's right. It's not the Jets who would have been there. Phil would not actually know. Knowing Brazil, I would not go to that game for sure. Why wouldn't you go? The girl from Epenem and all that? I would know it wouldn't happen. Nope, wouldn't happen. I've never been to Brazil. I would love to go to Brazil just to see my brother again. He'll be back. But I don't know if I want to fly nine hours from Miami. It's a nine hour flight. And if you're on a plane for more than two hours and you don't have first class and you're over six feet tall, it's not good. That's not comfortable. I've seen the commercials for the Emirates Air planes. They actually have showers in first class. You go take a shower while you're flying, which I wish everybody would while they're flying. I just want to be the first person in the shower. I don't want to be that anyone after first, I don't want to be in the shower on a plane. I'm just saying, just throwing that out there. Because then you're like at the YMCA. But yesterday, so we had the Phillies won and the Eagles will play Friday night in Brazil, unless something else happens. The US Open Tennis tournament, which I think we need to give a little bit of love to the US Open Tennis tournament. I watch it. That's what I was watching last night. Instead of watching the Phillies game. Yes, I was watching the US Open Tennis tournament. Why? American Francis Tiafo. He's not quite local. He's he's from Maryland. Francis Tiafo played last night and he won his match. And earlier in the day, Taylor Fritz played and he won his match. And that means both of those Americans are in the final eight. This is very rare. And we also had two Americans on the women's side playing last night. And one of them won. So Coco Gough did not win. She's the favorite, but she didn't win. So we have we have two American women who should be in the final eight. And we have at least two American men in the final eight with one of them playing again today. So we might have three. So American tennis is back. And if you haven't been watching it, ESPN has it. And ABC had it yesterday afternoon as well because, you know, they're tied together. So tonight, American Tommy Paul, who is a Voorhees New Jersey guy. So hello, New Jersey. Tommy Paul is playing at probably eight 30 tonight. And it should be on ESPN. I believe unless they've got some other, there's a lot of college football on ESPN. I just have to say it. I know it's big ratings, but this is one time a year major tennis tournament. So logo boy, Tommy Paul tonight, root for the Americans. That's that's rule number one in our household. Root for the Americans. That's the only American other than earlier today, Jessica Pagula is playing on the women's side of things at noon today. Now, this will be a stumper for Phil. Phil, you are a sports trivia expert. The guy, the Pagula family, Jessica Pagula. She's the top five tennis player in the world, American girl. Yep. What sports franchises are her is her family tied to? I should know this really. You should. There's two of them. I know their family owns two professional sports franchise. And I can't think of them right now. One is the Buffalo Bills. Oh, that's why I don't care about Buffalo and the Buffalo Sabres. Well, she insulted you. She insulted your jets. She went after your jets on center court on Saturday, thanked all the New York fans. And she said, I'm talking to the Buffalo Bills fans who are here. Sorry, New York Jets, but I'm talking to the Buffalo Bills fans. So it's kind of interesting to see a a child of some very well-to-do sports people is very normal. And she's in a really good stead when it comes to the US Open. So I'm hoping she's doing well. If she wins, I'll be very happy. But cheer for America. We're just around the corner from the cut sheet, which will have a ridiculous statement from George Clooney that I will have to share with you. There is more from Tom Cotton and meet the depressed yesterday. We have some very interesting things coming out on polling that you're going to want to hear about. JD Vance, Donald Trump's running mate is getting a hard time for something he posted after the Kamala Harris interview. Kamala Harris has a mush mouth. And if you haven't heard it, we'll play that for you as well. I have new and breaking news out of Donald Trump as it relates to marijuana and birth control. It is a cavalcade of great clips. Before we go to break, let's talk to Jim who's called in today. It's Opelka in for kill and company Jim. Where are you calling from? Williamstown. I'm sorry, Jim. I missed that. Williamstown. Williamstown. Welcome. Welcome, Jim. What's up? Not to go off topic on you guys. I'm a big football fan. I'm very concerned about the Trump assassination attempt that we're not hearing anything about it. Well, we did get we got a little really upset. Well, you're right. You're right to be upset because we've only gotten drips and drafts. We got a little bit on Friday from the FBI. And I don't know if you heard late Thursday, the FBI put a statement. You've had five members of the Secret Service team who have been put on desk duty, which should have happened the very first day of the attempted assassination July 13th. And we because that's protocol in any law enforcement situation. If you're involved in a shooting, you're put immediately on desk duty until the investigation is over. So that didn't happen until last week. So we have that. We have a little bit more that they tried to tell us this is what they know about the shooter. But it seems to have asked or opened up more questions. And I'm going to add to the cut sheet a clip from a Navy SEAL who was talking about the FBI statement. And I think it says a lot and we'll get to that. Thank you for reminding about that. That's a really important point. Don't there was an assassination attempt on a former president that was almost successful. And that story has basically disappeared in less than 45 days. It's almost non-existent. And there's not been one firing. There was one retirement. Nobody's been fired for this. That's a really good point, sir. I'm glad you brought that. Are you in law enforcement, Jim? No, I'm actually a school maintenance worker who has to work today. Kids are coming back tomorrow. Well, God bless you for working today. You're part of our posse today. And there's a lot of us out there today. I just think there's so much more to this. And we're in the dark. I'm very upset about this. Well, not you. You're right to be upset. And you're right to keep asking questions because why was the body cremated before anyone could investigate? Why did the FBI hose down the roof after the shooting? Why has nobody been fired? All these questions are important. How can we still don't know about the three encrypted accounts, the messaging accounts, the foreign bank accounts? Why don't we know? That's what I want to know. But thank you, Jim. It's a great point. We should step aside so we can come back. We'll do the cut sheet just around the corner. It's Opelka in for Kalen Company and Talk Radio WPHD. This is the Kalen Company podcast from Talk Radio 1210 WPHD and on the free Odyssey app. Michael Pelka in for Kalen Company. I'm having a little flashback here in 1980s and that's jam comes on at happy hour and Fridays. I have to get up from the backgammon board and hit the dance floor. That's kind of a scary thought, isn't it? It's a very scary thought, Michael Pelka. And that that song has been out for my god 45. They'll be a 45 year anniversary on that song. It's crazy. Yes. It's amazing. It's amazing. We are holding on the fort here on a Monday. Opelka here and Phil is keeping me on the rails. Sort of. But always sort of. But just to show you that we're trying to get as close to Kalen Company on this Monday. It's 749 in time for the cut sheet. What's on the cut sheet? What's on the cut sheet brought to you by Cherry Hill Volvo where they have amazingly competitive pricing plus an additional $1,000 discount on all new Volvos. Cherry Hill Volvo is where relationships really do matter. Judith, the Osip and the entire team are looking forward to meeting you. Thank you Cherry Hill Volvo. Thank you. That is one of the nicest dealerships you'll ever visit too. It really is. I've been there, loved it, and I hope you go there too. As I said, it's the cut sheet. We have so much to get to on the cut sheet. I want to make sure we remind ourselves that Jim called just a few moments ago and said, hey, I'm really ticked off that this assassination attempt of Donald John Trump has kind of slid off the front pages. You're right. You're absolutely right. Last week we got this kind of cursory release of information from the FBI. It wasn't a whole lot of new information. They showed us the rifle that had a folding stock and that's how he got it into his backpack. They showed us some pictures of what they say were the incendiary devices he had assembled. They told us a little bit more and then they released information that had Navy Seal John Gilliam raising an eyebrow about something really important. Check this out. Let's start with the fact that they called this a target of opportunity. I think that's the wrong verbiage. I think that this was a target that he chose. He clearly did his research on wine, looking at all the different individuals that he thought he might want to attack and he chose this one. A target of opportunity versus a targeted assassination attempt. The nuances in the language are critical. Gilliam noticed it. I noticed it. When you are talking about a target of opportunity, you're talking about a guy who sets up on the side of a highway like back in DC when John Lee Malvo set up a sniper rifle in the back of a hatchback and shot at cars as they came up and down the highways in DC. You're talking about the guy who climbed the bell tower at University of Texas Austin and tried picking off people. Those are targets of opportunity. This was a targeted assassination and they are two very different issues. The FBI is not being straight with us and I hope the members of Congress, when they return from their break, they all were home pretty much over the last five weeks. When they return from their break this week, we hope Congress gets down to business and starts pressing the FBI for more information because we ain't getting it and we need it. We the people need the information. One of the other things, this weekend, I attended the Arden Fair in Arden, Delaware, the little community where we live and we go from about 850 people to about 10,000 people on one day for one day and it's a fun little fair and because it's an election year, the entrance to the fair and there's only one way to walk in was a gauntlet of political candidates in Delaware. Most of them Democrats. I met one Republican senatorial candidate Eric may be with us. I don't know if he's going to call today, but I talked with gubernatorial candidates, etc. And in the area there, there were people holding up a banner that said Kennedy Shanahan for the people. And I'm thinking, you guys know Robert Kennedy suspended his campaign and he's supporting Donald Trump, right? You're aware of that, aren't you? They were like those Japanese guys found in the jungles in the fifties after the end of World War II, which by the way, today's the anniversary, the actual surrender of Japan and decades later, they were finding people in the islands off the off the coast of Japan. And these people were hiding thinking they were still fighting the war. I guess that's what happened to the Kennedy Shanahan people. They seemed nice enough, but they they were out there holding up banners and handing out buttons. And I got a button from them. But I want to play this clip for you from Robert Kennedy talking to Tucker Carlson about what's going on in the political process today. So what is this realignment that you mentioned at the outset? Because this does feel like it's bigger than just this November. Yeah, I mean, there's been a series of these realignments throughout American history and, you know, there's history books that are written about, you know, the realignments about five of them. And one of those is clearly happening now because you see on so many issues, you know, that you've had an inversion. The Democrat party has become the party of the elites. It used to be the party of the poor in the working class. In fact, there was a study that came out just recently that I saw that showed that 70 percent that the people who voted for Biden own 70 percent of the wealth in this country, the people who voted for Trump on 30 percent. That's that right there at the end should tell you everything you need to know about why Donald Trump is campaigning the way he's campaigning. The working people are going for Donald Trump. Now today, you're going to see Biden and Harris are out and about campaigning. And they're going to go after union votes in Michigan. And then they will have an event in Pittsburgh trying to claim that they own the high ground on the Jewish vote. But it is that specific number 70 percent of the wealthy people. Well, they're voting for Biden. They don't have, they don't have the working class anymore. The Democrats have lost that. We'll see what happens on election day. It's going to be a big deal. One of the things that came out this weekend was Nancy Pelosi telling the truth. Yes, Nancy Pelosi told the truth. Well, she told us the real target of the Democrat Party, what they're really up to. She was having a discussion with Bill Maher on his program and fill a preemptive warning here. I think this has been bleeped. I hope so. We'll find out together. The California lawmakers just passed the law. It hasn't been signed by Governor Newsom, but giving government assistance to undocumented immigrants to buy houses. That's kind of a different place than the Democratic Party used to be on immigration. As a non-American, I say that's what the country is going to do. But that's certainly where California is. Well, let me just say immigration had always been a bipartisan issue. I refer you to the- not free houses. Well, that's not free housing. It's the American dream being available to more people. But understand this about immigration. The best speech on immigration was by President Ronald Reagan. This is the last speech I will make as President of the United States. I want to communicate a message to the country I love when you talk about the Statue of Liberty and the beacon of hope it is to the world and what America was preeminent in the world because our door was always open and we will cease to be preeminent when we shut the door. Yeah, Nancy, but there's a lack on the door. He's just the one everybody coming through the door. I think she's misreading Reagan, but she is about to tell you the secret about what she really wants, what she and the Democrats really have planned. It's all coming out here. Now, that's- I don't do justice to the great communicator. Yes, you're right. That's the first truthful thing she said. She doesn't do justice to the great communicator, but continue, Madam. Google it. It's a fabulous speech. And George Herbert Walker Bush continued in that respect for the diversity of America and the rest. California is always in the lead. Maybe others will follow that lead, but that's up to those states, but we are very blessed here with beautiful diversity. Do you vote for this law? Excuse me? So you'd vote for this law. Well, I don't- I'm not familiar with exactly what it is, but making the American dream of home ownership available to all people is something we have to do for people who are now. Before you, this is undocumented. This is for the undocumented. Well, what I would like to do is move them to documented. There it is right there. Bill Maher is trying to make a point here. California is about to pass a law and it's about to go to Newsom's desk. What this law would do is give interest-free loans basically free money to people here illegally. Undocumented people would have access to 150 thousand dollars in loans to purchase a home. Undocumented people, illegal people. And Pelosi, when hearing that, she's trying to say, "Oh, this is about the American dream. The people who are here, she's not saying American citizens. They're never saying American citizens. The Democrats are never for you. They are for them." By doing this gives them more power, builds their power base, they think. In case you missed it here, Maher's trying to make a point and she actually says the quiet part out loud. It's here with beautiful diversity. Yeah. You'd vote for this law? Excuse me? So you'd vote for this law? Well, I don't- I'm not familiar with exactly what it is, but making the American dream of home ownership available to all people is something we have to do for people who are now. Before you're a citizen. This is undocumented. This is for the undocumented. Well, what I would like to do is move them to documented. Yeah, we just want everybody who's here. We're just going to make you legal. Listen to the penguins in the audience, the sheep bleating and clapping their support. Everybody who broke the law here, we want to give you a free pass. We want to let you just be okay. It's kind of disturbing. One of the best things that we can do for our economy is to pass comprehensive immigration reform. After you close the border, Madam. But she said the quiet part out loud. She told the real story. She told the story. And speaking of telling the story, one of the stories of California today that will probably come here to Philadelphia, and I'm sure to Harrisburg as well, is the continued push for reparations. The push for reparations is ongoing. It's never going away. It'll always be someone's always going to raise their hand and go, what about reparations? Never mind the fact you you had the first black president of, I don't know, a couple of years ago with that Obama guy. And you have a, by your account, the first black vice president currently. But the call for reparations continues. The state of Illinois hears that the city of Chicago keeps bringing it up. California is constantly talking about it. A booming economy is what brings reparations to all. Low inflation, low interest rates, affordable housing. Kamal Harris was talking about four years ago with Al Sharpton, who I will not give ministerial credentials to. He is not a minister, in my opinion. He likes to think he is. He's as much of a minister as I am. I have a $75 ministerial credential he bought from the universal life church of Modesto, California allows me to marry people. That's, I'm as legitimate as Al Sharpton when it comes to being a minister. But in 2021, Kamal Harris was running for president for the first time. And she failed. She went and talked with Al Sharpton's organization called the National Action Network, which is also something he can't pronounce. He calls it the national action network. But he has sloppy diction. But Sharpton had Kamal Harris on the stage with him at the National Action Network annual meeting. And he asked her about reparations. If you elected president, would you sign that bill if it came across your desk? When I am elected president, I will sign it. Yes, the cackle and the commitment, the cackle and the commitment. If and when she is elected president, God forbid, if you're looking down upon us, Lord, save America, she has committed to signing the bill that would pay reparations. And someone needs to ask her that question the next time she sits for an interview. Will she sit for an interview? I don't know. I really don't know. I don't know if we're ever going to get another interview with Kamal Harris after the last one was such a disaster on CNN. And then right after that interview, she was so wiped out, she went out to a rally in Savannah, Georgia, and talked about the termination of the of the United States of America, the Constitution. She was crazy. I think she got a little, a little Joe Biden syndrome. He even called for termination of the United States Supreme, the Supreme land of our nation, the United States Constitution. What? Yeah, that is Kamala. She was channeling Joe Biden from 2020 when he was in San Antonio. We all be sure to be self-evident. All men who are created by the gold, you know, you know the thing. Yes, that's it. That's exactly what was happening. And she's got it now. Is it because she's too close to him? Maybe that's why they haven't been hanging out so much that maybe that's why Joe was on the beach for the last 16 days to make sure Kamala was clear to that. Really interesting to watch this. I said there were more clips of Tom Cotton, Senator Tom Cotton who cornered who cornered Kristen Welker on the Today Show. And I think it's fair to say she wrecked Kristen Welker. I think that's an accurate terminology by taking Welker apart on all of her crazy statements. There were some moments too as well that relate to what Donald Trump has been saying. Cotton was talking about how Donald Trump's announcement about paying for IVF. Last week we had Donald Trump say in front of a bunch of people and the town Holly had with Tulsi Gabbard, which by the way, I hope he does more of those. I think those were really good. There's another one, I believe in Pennsylvania here Wednesday coming up. So stay tuned for that. They are really where Donald Trump shines. But Donald Trump said he plans to make IVF in vitro fertilization free to everybody. But can we afford it? That's the question. All of these policy statements that people are making from the reparations, Kamala Harris is claiming that she will sign to banning fracking, to no tax on tips, to no tax on social security. One of the things you have to ask is, are we going to be able to pay for that? Tom Cotton had an interesting back and forth with Kristen Welker on this stick with Donald Trump, his big announcement on IVF this week. He said Thursday he wants the government to pay for or force insurance companies to cover IVF. Is that something you would support, Senator? Well, all Republicans, to my knowledge, support IVF in the Congress, and there's no state that prohibits or regulates IVF in a way that makes it inaccessible. It is expensive for many couples. I understand that. So it's something I'm open to that most Republicans would be open to. I think we'd have to evaluate the fiscal impact, whether the taxpayer can afford to pay for this, what impact it would have on premiums, but in principle, supporting couples who are trying to use IVF or other fertility treatments, I don't think is something that's controversial at all. Well, two months ago, you voted against a Senate bill that would have protected and expanded IVF access, and it would have mandated that some coverage was covered by health insurance plans. If that bill came back to the floor, would you now support it? Is that what you're saying? You mean Chuck Schumer's ridiculous messaging bill that requires fertility treatment for men who think they're women that's slapped together in a summer, and she's slapped together a bunch of other bills. It's a bill that also would have protected and expanded IVF. Chuck Schumer has been all summer long slapping together ridiculous bills that he thinks are going to help his liberal incumbent senators face off in their real estate. Just very quickly. Do you know? I so appreciate the fact that Tom Cotton does not stop, that he just continues marching forward with fact, fact, fact. And the fact is, Welker got caught bringing up a bill that would have forced government money to be paid to men who believe they can become women and get pregnant. He's so good. Oh, where this money would come from to cover IVF, because in 2022, some $8 billion were paid by. Again, that's why I say we'd have to we'd have to evaluate any specific legislation I do on any specific. I'd have to evaluate any specific legislation as I went on any legislation. So you're still undecided on where you stand on this government funded IVF plan? I certainly support couples having access to IVF, and it's not even a controversial issue in any of the 50 states. So Welker keeps trying to get the gotcha moment, and yet she keeps failing, which is one of my favorite things about all of these moments with the the political left, the key. I'm Jean-Marie Laskis. I'm a journalist. I spend my career helping Americans understand the lives of other Americans, coal miners, gun shop clerks, staffers in the White House mailroom. We had a little bit of grey skies yesterday, and then the sun was peeking out. Should be a pretty decent day. I'm not playing golf today. My buddies are. My golf posse is teeing off in three minutes. So I'm only a little jealous, but I love being here on the radio. It is my labor of love, truly. Opelka in for Kalent Company. You're welcome to join us. So you're working today, 855-839-1210. It's the number a lot to get to today. We will do a cut sheet as close to 745 as possible. And there are a lot of additions to some of the stories we've been talking about already, as well as updates on some stories. And at the end of the program, Phil will give us his historical take on this day in music. Phil, are you covering the tragic death of a fat man scoop in Connecticut over the weekend? No, about as much as CNN is covering the murder of the Israel or the American, actually. Oh, that's sad, but true. Yes, I mean, it's fact, but no, I am not. Is there something big every day? I mean, it's kind of like God does news every day, so I got news every day, sure. Okay. Do you want to tease anything? Something pretty big happened on this day in '95. I'll tell you that. 1995. 1995, that's correct. 1995, let me see. That's closer to '92, I think. Well, I can't wait. So Phil will be here with the look at the music. We didn't mention anything about the Phillies because I was watching the US Open Tennis Tournament last night. Phil, did the Phillies win last night? Yes, they did, as I saw on the news. Yes, they did. Okay, glad to see that. And football starts on Friday. The Eagles are going to Brazil. Are they already there? It would seem to make sense. I'm not sure if they're there. Usually for road games, they go a couple days, two or three days before, so they may not be there yet. It's like a 12-hour flight. I mean, there are games overseas in like London, too, so. London is a six-hour flight. I understand. We're talking, you got a flight in Miami, then you got to gas up, and it's another nine hours to Sao Paulo, and you can't use your Twitter while you're there. That's the other problem. A lot of people are calling for the NFL to move the game out of Brazil. They've been doing this. The outcry happened late last week when people were saying, "Hold on a second. Brazil has blocked Twitter and blocked anyone from using Twitter. I know this to be true. My brother, who is currently in Brazil, my brother, who writes, he writes stuff for the Wall Street Journal in case you're reading your op-ed pieces in the Wall Street Journal, Greg Opelka. He writes. He's got about 65 in the last two or three years, so he's pretty prolific, but he's in Brazil. He said, "I can't get on Twitter. I can't get my Twitter fix." I'm just thinking Greg Stalker wishes that they would block Twitter here, so Nick couldn't be on Twitter all day long, which he probably will be doing, but just that fact that a country is blocking access to a social media outlet, has many saying that the NFL should pull the game out. Now, they're not going to do that. It's not going to happen. There's too much money involved, and even though it seems like it would make sense, I'm old enough to remember when the Major League Baseball organization pulled its all-star game out of Atlanta because they thought that there were some suppression of votes going on. Never mind the fact that more people voted in Georgia that year than in almost forever. They were pulling out of Georgia and basically sticking it to the economy of Georgia because they were making a political statement, but here with the NFL, it's Green Bay against the Eagles in the opener. Phil, is that right? Actually, well, technically, the opener is Thursday, which is the... I'm talking about the Eagles. No, I understand, but the Eagles, yes, they are playing the Packers, but the day before is there is actually a game with the day before, so it's not like the Eagles it's the first game. No, but it's the Eagles... But the Eagles first game, yes, that is correct. What you said is arguing with my wife here. I'm just trying to make sure people know that the Eagles is not the very first NFL game, but their first game is Friday. So, it's Friday in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where if you say to anyone, do you like football, to go to football, they think soccer, so we're expanding the universe. I don't see how this is a good idea for the NFL, because to outfit an entire soccer team costs just a little more than outfitting one football player. If you think about it, if you have to buy cleats, shorts, protective undergarments, and a shirt for a soccer player, and maybe some shin guards, it doesn't cost that much. But if you have to buy helmet, shoulder pads, chest protection, you have to buy protective undergarments, a jersey, pants, maybe protective equipment on the thigh and shins, and then cleats, that's what it costs for one player. It's almost as much as outfitting an entire team in soccer, and Brazil's not exactly crushing it when it comes to economies. And how many Philadelphians, how many people from Green Bay have made the trip? I wonder. Do you know anybody felt, Phil, how did you not go to this? Well, one, I'm going to San Francisco. Oh, it's not the Jets. That's right. It's not the Jets, if it were the Jets, you'd have been there. Phil would not actually know. Knowing Brazil, I would not go to that game for sure. Why wouldn't you go? The girl from Ipanemon, all that? I would know it wouldn't happen. No, it wouldn't happen. I don't want to be anyone after first. I don't want to be in the shower on a plane. I'm just saying just throwing that out there because then you're like at the YMCA. But yesterday, so we had the Phillies won and the Eagles will play Friday night in Brazil unless something else happens. The US Open Tennis Tournament, which I think we need to give a little bit of love to the US Open Tennis Tournament. I watch it. That's what I was watching last night instead watching the Phillies game. Yes, I was watching the US Open Tennis Tournament. Why? American Francis Tiafo. He's not quite local. He's he's from Maryland. Francis Tiafo played last night and he won his match. Earlier in the day, Taylor Fritz played and he won his match. That means both of those Americans are in the final eight. This is very rare. We also had two Americans on the women's side playing last night and one of them won. Coco Gough did not win. She's the favorite, but she didn't win. We have two American women who should be in the final eight and we have at least two American men in the final eight with one of them playing again today, so we might have three. American Tennis is back and if you haven't been watching it, ESPN has it and ABC had it yesterday afternoon as well because they're tied together. Tonight, American Tommy Paul, who is a Voorhees, New Jersey guy. So hello, New Jersey. Tommy Paul is playing at probably eight 30 tonight and it should be on ESPN. I believe unless they've got some other, there's a lot of college football on ESPN. I just have to say it. I know it's big ratings, but this is a one time a year major tennis tournament. So local boy Tommy Paul tonight, root for the Americans. That's that's rule number one in our household, root for the Americans. That's the only American other than earlier today, Jessica Pagula is playing on the women's side of things at noon today. Now, this will be a stumper for Phil. Phil, you are a sports trivia expert guy, the Pagula family, Jessica Pagula. She's the top five tennis player in the world, American girl. Yep. What sports franchises are her is her family tied to? I should know this really. You should. There's two of them. I know that her family owns two professional sports franchise. And I can't think of them right now. One is the Buffalo Bills. Oh, that's why I don't care about Buffalo. And the Buffalo Sabres. Well, she insulted your, she insulted your Jets. Oh, that's exactly right. I know. She went after your Jets on center court on Saturday, thanked all the New York fans. And she said, I'm talking to the Buffalo Bills fans who are here, sorry, New York Jets, but I'm talking to the Buffalo Bills fans. So it's kind of interesting to see a child of some very well to do sports people is very normal. It's Opelka in for killing company. Jim, where are you calling from? Williamstown. I'm sorry, Jim. I missed that. Williamstown. Oh, Williamstown. Welcome. Welcome, Jim. What's up? Williamstown. Not to go off topic on you guys. I'm a big football fan. I'm very concerned about the Trump assassination attempt that we're not hearing anything about it. Well, we did get. We got a little really upset. Well, you're right to be upset because we've only gotten drips and drafts. We got a little bit on Friday from the FBI. And I don't know if you heard, late Thursday, the FBI put a statement. You've had five members of the Secret Service team who have been put on desk duty, which should have happened the very first day of the attempted assassination July 13th. And because that's protocol in any law enforcement situation. If you're involved in a shooting, you're put immediately on desk duty until the investigation is over. So that didn't happen until last week. So we have that. We have a little bit more that they tried to tell us this is what they know about the shooter. But it seems to have asked or open up more questions. And I'm going to add to the cut sheet a clip from a Navy SEAL who was talking about the FBI statement. And I think it says a lot. And we'll get to that. Thank you for reminding about that. That's a really important point. There was an assassination attempt on a former president that was almost successful. Well, now you're right to be upset. I'm having a little flashback here in 1980s and that's jam comes on a happy hour on Fridays. I have to get up from the backgammon board and hit the dance floor. Whew, that's kind of a scary thought, isn't it? It's a very scary thought, Michael Pelka. And that that song has been out for my god 45. They'll be a 45 year anniversary on that song. It's crazy. Yes. It's amazing. It's amazing. We are holding on the fort here on a Monday, Opelka here and Phil is keeping me on the rails. Judith, the host of the entire team are looking forward to meeting you. Thank you Cherry Hill Volvo. Thank you. That is one of the nicest dealerships you'll ever visit, too. Last week, we got this kind of cursory release of information from the FBI. It wasn't a whole lot of new information. They showed us the rifle that had a folding stock. That's how he got it into his backpack. They showed us some pictures of what they say were the incendiary devices he had assembled. They told us a little bit more, and then they released information that had Navy SEAL John Gilliam raising an eyebrow about something really important. Check this out. Well, let's start with the fact that they called this a target of opportunity. I think that's the wrong verbiage. I think that this was a target that he chose. He clearly did his research online looking at all the different individuals that he thought he might want to attack, and he chose this one. So a target of opportunity versus a targeted assassination attempt, the nuances in the language are critical. Gilliam noticed it. I noticed it. When you are talking about a target of opportunity, you're talking about a guy who sets up on the side of a highway, like back in D.C. when John Lee Malvo set up a sniper rifle in the back of a hatchback and shot at cars as they came up and down the highways in D.C. You're talking about the guy who climbed the bell tower at University of Texas Austin and tried picking off people. Those are targets of opportunity. This was a targeted assassination, and they are two very different issues. The FBI is not being straight with us, and I hope the members of Congress, when they return from their break, they all were home pretty much over the last five weeks. When they return from their break this week, we hope Congress gets down to business and starts pressing the FBI for more information because we ain't getting it, and we need it. We the people need the information. One of the other things, this weekend I attended the Art and Fair in Art and Delaware, the little community where we live, and we go from about 850 people to about 10,000 people on one day for one day, and it's a fun little fair, and because it's an election year, the entrance to the fair, and there's only one way to walk in, was a gauntlet of political candidates in Delaware, most of them Democrats. I met one Republican senatorial candidate, Eric may be with us. I don't know if he's going to call today, but I talked with gubernatorial candidates, etc., and in the area there, there were people holding up a banner that said Kennedy Shanahan for the people, and I'm thinking, you guys know Robert Kennedy suspended his campaign, and he's supporting Donald Trump, right? You're aware of that, aren't you? They were like those Japanese guys found in the jungles in the '50s after the end of World War II, which by the way, today's the anniversary of the actual surrender of Japan, and decades later they were finding people in the islands off the coast of Japan, and these people were hiding thinking they were still fighting the war. I guess that's what happened to the Kennedy Shanahan people. They seemed nice enough, but they were out there holding up banners and handing out buttons, and I got a button from them, but I wanted to play this clip for you from Robert Kennedy talking to Tucker Carlson about what's going on in the political process today. So what is this realignment that you mentioned at the outset because this does feel like it's bigger than just this November? Yeah, I mean, there's been a series of these realignments throughout American history, and you know, there's history books that are written about, you know, the realignments, I think there's about five of them, and one of those is clearly happening now, because you see on so many issues, you know, that you've had an inversion. The Democratic Party has become the party of the elites. It used to be the party of the poor in the working class. In fact, there was a study that came out just recently that I saw that showed that 70% that the people who voted for Biden own 70% of the wealth in this country, the people who voted for Trump on 30%. That stat right there at the end should tell you everything you need to know about why Donald Trump is campaigning the way he's campaigning. The working people are going for Donald Trump. Now today, you're going to see Biden and Harris are out and about campaigning, and they're going to go after union votes in Michigan, and then they will have an event in Pittsburgh trying to claim that they own the high ground on the Jewish vote. But it is that specific number 70% of the wealthy people, well, they're voting for Biden. She was having a discussion with Bill Maher on his program and Phil, a preemptive warning here. I think this has been bleeped. I hope so. We'll find out together. The California lawmakers just passed the law. It hasn't been signed by Governor Newsom, but giving government assistance to undocumented immigrants to buy houses. That's kind of a different place than the Democratic Party used to be on immigration. It's a non-muck, I say, that's what the country is going to do. But that's certainly where California is. Well, let me just say, immigration had always been a bipartisan issue. I refer you to the- not free houses. Well, that's not free housing. It's the American dream being available to more people. But understand this about immigration. The best speech on immigration was by President Ronald Reagan. This is the last speech I will make as President of the United States. I want to communicate a message to the country I love when you talk about the Statue of Liberty and the beacon of hope it is to the world and what America was preeminent in the world because our door was always open. And we will cease to be preeminent when we shut the door. Yeah, Nancy, but there's a lack on the door. We just don't want everybody coming through the door. I think she's misreading Reagan. But she is about to tell you the secret about what she really wants, what she and the Democrats really have planned. It's all coming out here. Now, that's- I don't do justice to the great communicator. Yes, you're right. That's the first truthful thing she said. She doesn't do justice to the great communicator. But continue, Madam. Google it. It's a fabulous speech. And George Herbert Walker Bush continued in that respect for the diversity of America and the rest. California is always in the lead. Maybe others will follow that lead, but that's up to those states. But we are very blessed here with beautiful diversity. Do you vote for this law? Excuse me? So you'd vote for this law. Well, I don't- I'm not familiar with exactly what it is, but making the American dream of home ownership available to all people is something we have to do for people who are now. Before you're interested, this is undocumented. This is for the undocumented. Well, what I would like to do is move them to documented. There it is right there. Bill Maher is trying to make a point here. California is about to pass a law and it's about to go to Newsom's desk. What this law would do is give interest-free loans basically free money to people here illegally. Undocumented people would have access to a hundred and fifty thousand dollars in loans to purchase a home. Undocumented people, illegal people. And Pelosi, when hearing that, she's trying to say, "Oh, this is about the American dream." The people who are here, she's not saying American citizens. They're never saying American citizens. The Democrats are never for you. They are for them. By doing this, gives them more power, builds their power base, they think. In case you missed it, Mar's trying to make a point, and she actually says the quiet part out loud. It's here with beautiful diversity. Yeah, you'd vote for this law. Excuse me? So you'd vote for this law? Well, I'm not familiar with exactly what it is. But making the American dream of home ownership available to all people is something we have to do for people who are here now. One of the best things that we can do for our economy is to pass comprehensive immigration reform after you close the border, madam. But she said the quiet part out loud. She told the real story. She told the story. And speaking of telling the story, one of the stories out of California today that will probably come here to Philadelphia, and I'm sure to Harrisburg as well, is the continued push for reparations. The push for reparations is ongoing. It's never going away. It'll always be someone's always going to raise their hand and go, what about reparations? Never mind the fact you you had the first black president of I don't know a couple of years ago with that Obama guy. And you have a by your account, the first black vice president currently. But the call for reparations continues. The state of Illinois hears it. The city of Chicago keeps bringing it up. California is constantly talking about it. A booming economy is what brings reparations to all. Low inflation, low interest rates, affordable housing. Kamala Harris was talking about four years ago with Al Sharpton, who I will not give ministerial credentials to. He is not a minister, in my opinion. He likes to think he is. He's as much of a minister as I am. I have a $75 ministerial credential he bought from the Universal Life Church of Modesto, California allows me to marry people. That's I'm as legitimate as Al Sharpton when it comes to being a minister. But in 2021, Kamala Harris was running for president for the first time. And she failed. She went and talked with Al Sharpton's organization called the National Action Network, which is also something he can't pronounce. He calls it the National Action Network. But he has sloppy diction. But Sharpton had Kamala Harris on the stage with him at the National Action Network Annual Meeting. And he asked her about reparations. They're in the area of reparations for descendants of Africans and slaves. And someone needs to ask her that question the next time she sits for an interview, will she sit for an interview? I don't know. I really don't know. I don't know if we're ever going to get another interview with Kamala Harris after the last one was such a disaster on CNN. And then right after that interview, she was so wiped out she went out to a rally in Savannah, Georgia and talked about the termination of the United States of America, the Constitution. She was crazy. I think she got a little, a little Joe Biden syndrome. He even called for termination of the United States Supreme, the Supreme Land of our nation, the United States Constitution. What? Yeah, that's Kamala. I said there were more clips of Tom Cotton, Senator Tom Cotton who cornered, who cornered Kristen Welker on the Today Show. And I think it's fair to say she wrecked Kristen Welker. I think that's an accurate terminology by taking Welker apart on all of her crazy statements. There were some moments to as well that relate to what Donald Trump has been saying. Cotton was talking about how Donald Trump's announcement about paying for IVF. Last week we had Donald Trump say in front of a bunch of people and the town Holly had with Tulsi Gabbard, which by the way, I hope he does more of those. I think those were really good. There's another one I believe in Pennsylvania here Wednesday coming up. Tom Cotton had an interesting back and forth with Kristen Welker on this. Stick with Donald Trump, his big announcement on IVF this week. He said Thursday he wants the government to pay for or force insurance companies to cover IVF. Is that something you would support, Senator? Well, all Republicans, to my knowledge, support IVF in the Congress. And there's no state that prohibits or regulates IVF in a way that makes it inaccessible. It is expensive for many couples. I understand that. So it's something I'm open to that most Republicans would be open to. I think we'd have to evaluate the fiscal impact, whether the taxpayer can afford to pay for this, what impact it would have on premiums. But in principle, supporting couples who are trying to use IVF or other fertility treatments, I don't think is something that's controversial at all. Well, two months ago, you voted against a Senate bill that would have protected and expand IVF, access, and it would have mandated that some coverage was covered by health insurance plans. If that bill came back to the floor, would you now support it? Is that what you're saying? You mean Chuck Schumer's ridiculous messaging bill that requires fertility treatment for men who think they're women that's slapped together in a summer or two-slap together, a bunch of other bills? It's a bill that also would have protected and expanded IVF. Chuck Schumer has been all summer long slapping together ridiculous bills that he thinks are going to help his liberal incumbent senators face off in their real estate. Just very quickly. Do you know? I so appreciate the fact that Tom Cotton does not stop, that he just continues marching forward with fact, fact, fact. And the fact is, Welker got caught bringing up a bill that would have forced government money to be paid to men who believe they can become women and get pregnant. He's so good. Oh, where this money would come from to cover IVF? Because in 2022, some $8 billion were paid by. No, again, that's why I say we'd have to, we'd have to evaluate any specific legislations. I do it on any specific list. I'd have to evaluate any specific legislations I would on any legislation. So you're still undecided on where you stand on this government funded IVF plan? Well, I certainly support couples having access to IVF and it's not even a controversial issue in any of the 50 states. So Welker keeps trying to get the gotcha moment and yet she keeps failing, which is one of my favorite things about all of these moments with the political left. They keep trying to get the gotcha moment with people like Tom Cotton. There was another moment yesterday on the Sunday talk shows on this week on ABC, where the Colorado Governor Jared Polis, who is a big leftist and out there, speech and fine on behalf of Kamala Harris, he's trying to say that she's always been for a border wall. Never mind the fact she's the one who called it of a medieval vanity project. This exchange is absolutely worth its weight in gold. That didn't come up in the CNN interview is her now apparent support for at least in some aspects, the border wall. I mean, we've seen in her ad on the border, she uses images of the border wall. She says she'll sign the Senate bill, which provided $650 million for more border wall construction. She had called previously the border wall a medieval vanity project and a stupid use of money that she vowed to block. So what's changed there? Well, first of all, I have to stop before Jared Polis tries to fix this problem. I'm absolutely stunned. I know you are too. This happened on ABC News. This is what appears to be a journalist question coming out of the mouth of Jonathan Carl, which almost never happens on ABC News, especially when George Stephanopoulos is up there. What do you think Jared Polis said in response to this question about Kamala Harris apparent flip-flop on the border wall? Look, this is another issue that as it gets into the public discourse is very misleading. Democrats in general Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, you know, Barack Obama have always been supportive of building barriers and walls for certain parts of the border is whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, they always crouch on Obama have always been supportive in building certain parts of the barriers and walls for certain parts of the border. They called it a joke Biden said walls don't work when when they took office and they signed all the executive orders that prevented the building of the walls and they let all the equipment that was there ready to be installed, deteriorate, and then sold it for pennies on the dollar pennies millions and millions of your tax dollars spent to buy all that stuff auctioned off at bargain basement prices. This is who's out there speechifying for Kamala Harris part of a comprehensive border security strategy strategy. She called the and monitoring. I mean, she called the border wall a medieval vanity project to stupid use of money and said that she would block funding for it. So she wasn't talking about supporting it. I'm stunned. Again, I have to say this is Jonathan Carl. This is a ABC news. He asked a follow-up question said, hey, hold on a second, is ABC news suddenly waking up? Is this because they're getting ready to have a debate? Is this because they're going to host the debate that maybe suddenly they're trying to show they have journalistic bona fides? I don't know the wall. I mean, that's true that the border wall that Donald Trump has proposed is a huge boondoggle and waste of taxpayer money. He effectively talked about a wall across the entire border rather than using barriers of different kinds effectively in a cost-effective manner, including imagery from satellites, including on the ground Intel to secure and lock down the border. I'm just thinking how much money would it cost the staff satellites monitoring the border and then have people monitoring the images from the satellite? Because you know, it's pretty cheap to just throw satellite into space as opposed to putting a 25 or 30 foot border wall up, right? That's got to be a price comparison we could deal with. These people don't know what they're talking about. They really don't. What Kamala Harris is for is security in the most cost-effective way possible to stop. Yeah, put a wall. Not satellites. Put a wall. The illegal flow of people, of guns, of drugs across that southern border. And of course, Donald Trump's border wall would not work, wood wakes, taxpayer money. And of course, barriers and walls are a part of the overall comprehensive strategy that Kamala Harris will deliver on to secure the southern border. Can't have it both ways, Governor. You cannot have it both ways. It's impossible. But that's who these people are. They try to tell you one thing after they have done the exact opposite. We go back to that lesson. When they point a finger at you, there are three pointing right back at themselves. Every time they tell you they're doing something, they're doing it themselves. Or would they accuse you of doing something? They are doing it themselves. They tend to do it that way. That's the way it is. We have got to get to so much here. There's a giant pile. I mentioned George Clooney. George Clooney, the actor, the guy who presided over the massive fundraiser for Joe Biden, the one where you had Barack Obama have to grab the president by the hand or by the arm and guide him off stage. Remember when Biden froze on stage at that big Hollywood fundraiser? It was a huge event and Biden got up with Obama at the end and they were waving to the crowd and Joe suddenly froze like the battery wore down. Yeah, that was embarrassing. They took in millions and millions of dollars and then within days suddenly Biden was out. Kamala was in. But never mind that, we now have to repair the image of Joe Biden, the guy who spent the last 16 days on the beach, either in California or in Delaware. Clooney has decided that he has to elevate Joe Biden to the status of, oh, you're probably thinking Barack Obama, right? No, no, you're probably thinking he's going to compare him to JFK, right? No, because the Democrats hate JFK now. They don't like the candidates now, not just because of RFK Jr, but because JFK was the guy who wanted you to have lower taxes. He wouldn't be allowed in the Democrat party today. JFK, go back and look at his policies. So Clooney's going all the way back, all the way back to the very first president to tell us that Joe Biden is like George Washington. The person who should be applauded is the president who did the most selfless thing that anybody has done since George Washington. And that's true. And so anybody, all the machinations that got us there, that's all none of that's going to be remembered. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. He wants us to think of Joe Biden as a selfless hero and he's reading off a piece of paper. Remember, he's an actor. He's used to being told where to stand, what to where and what to say, and how to say it. He's got a piece of paper in front of him. He keeps looking down and hitting either a talking point or actually reading a line verbatim. And he said, none of the machinations that got us here will be remembered. Are you kidding me? None of the machinations that got us to this point will be remembered. We won't remember the embarrassing debate performance. We won't remember the fact that Biden was pushed out by a palace coup led by Nancy Pelosi in Barack Obama. God knows how many other big wealthy donors and friends of yours. None of the machinations will be remembered. No, it's only going to be the selfless act. Ask Jill Biden, ask Lady McBiden, if it is, in fact, a selfless act, or was it a palace coup? He's got more to read. And it shouldn't be what should be remembered is the selfless act. He's looking down at the page and reading what should be remembered is the selfless act. And it shouldn't be what should be remembered is the selfless act of someone who, you know, it's very hard to let go of. He lost his place. He lost his place. That's why you hear the right there. You should have memorized your lines, George. Be remembered is the selfless act of someone who, you know, it's very hard to let go of power. You know, we know that we've seen it, you know, all around the world. Have you? And for someone to say, I think there's a better way forward. That's all the credit goes to him. And that's really the truth. And all the rest of it will be long gone and forgotten. And so I'm just I'm just very proud of where we are in the state of the world right now, which I think many people are surprised by. And I think we're all very excited for the future. What did any of that last 10 seconds even mean? Seriously, George, really, can we diagram the sentence? And that's really the truth. And all the rest of it will be long gone and forgotten. And so I'm just I'm just very proud of where we are in the state of the world right now, which I think many people are surprised by. And I think we're all very excited for the future. That means nothing. That is a giant pile of nothingness that George Clooney has just delivered. And he's reading it. The entire statement is prepared and he's reading it. He made his friends shell out millions of dollars, knowing that Biden was cognitively impaired. And now he's trying to remake Joe Biden's history and Joe Biden's reputation by saying, he's like George Washington. Did you get that from Nancy? Did Nancy tell you she was there? Wow, craziness. Oh, so many people checking in this morning. I got to say how to Deb Kennedy checking in. Thank you, Deb, for being that we appreciate you for tuning in. And Susie Cool is with us as well. I have so many more clips to get to. Do we do a second edition of the cut sheet, Phil? Well, we could. Nothing sponsored, but we could. Totally a few spoken like a true tool of the sales department. You know, I got to do what I got to do. I love that. No, I have I have so many more clips. I'm looking at the clock. I'm going, are we okay on time? That's probably good time to take a break at this point. And then you can come back and play more clips. How about that? That'd be a good thing. Or maybe we'll get a little education on the burner launcher, the less lethal protection option that I was telling you about me. We'll see where you can fit this in. Middle-class families, like the one I grew up in, they want common-sense solutions. You want lower prices and lower taxes. I believe you want to just not get by, but you want to get ahead. We must create an opportunity economy where everyone has a chance to get a car loan, buy a home, start a business. And I believe we can make that happen. Kamala Harris' plan? Bring down costs by cracking down on corporate price vouchers. Make home ownership or affordable for families. A middle-class tax cut for 100 million Americans. And make sure billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share so you can keep more of the money you've earned. Instead of being focused on the politics of the past, we need to be thinking about the future and how we make it better for families like yours. It's Michael Pelka in for Kallen Company. Phil's here too, keeping an eye on things, helping out and much appreciated. I told you to give an update on the San Francisco 49ers. Quarterback, the first round draft choice who was shot in San Francisco on the week and released on Sunday after he was shot on Saturday. The mayor in San Francisco said the most ridiculous thing. She said this sets back our efforts to reduce crime. Thanks a lot for that mayor. Nice. Well said. Thanks, Captain Obvious. It's just like really, really mayor. Truly. I did mention earlier that the troubled Boeing Starliner rocket ship has another chapter coming out of it. This is news. They're going to fly it back to Earth, but they're going to send it back on manned or I'm sorry. Don't turn manned, Phil. Do not turn manned to HR. I misspoke. Unpersoned. It is going to be flown on a remote control return to the earth because they're worried that the Starliner still has some technical problems. And then yesterday we heard that the crew is reporting hearing strange sounds emanating from the spacecraft. I believe I found it. Listen up to you. Got a question about Starliner. Ethan's with you, but you go ahead. There's a strange noise coming through the speaker and I didn't know if you could connect into the Starliner and let me keep my listen here. I don't know what's making it, but I don't know if something that maybe connected between here and there making that happen, but anyway, can you do that? We can configure that butch. Give us a minute and I'll call you back when it's ready. Okay, so now butch is up in the International Space Station. He's one of the guys who's supposed to be there eight days, but the Starliner went up and they're thinking, eh, we don't want to go back in this thing. So you're going to be up there until February when we can get another craft up there. We can send up supplies and maybe send up an out-of-state or remote voting ballot to the people. By the way, I think the ballots are going out in the mail this week, so pay attention to that. I did see a FedEx truck going through a cemetery last week, Phil, so I know that the ballots are already going out. Oh, I did see that actually too. Yeah, that's a good sign. That was good. Very good sign. But back to the Boeing Starliner crew. Butch says we're hearing something from the ship. Now, you're thousands of miles above the earth and you're traveling along at 14,000 miles an hour or something like that, and you're hearing something, and you want to know what the heck's going on. So let's let's see if we can figure out what the heck this is. Station Houston on two, we're configured for audio via hardline and CST. If you want to give us a call. Okay, I'm in, uh, I'm in Starliner. How do you read it? 5/5, how many? I said, okay, I'll put the mic up next to the speaker. Copy. Hear that? At negative butch, we did not hear anything. So he like held this cell phone up to the speaker and they didn't hear anything. I didn't hear anything either. So let's see if they can do a direct link inside the craft. Phil, you hearing that? You're hearing that pounding? I did hear that. Let's let's hear that again. Copy. Hear that? At negative butch, we did not hear anything. Okay. All right, butch, that one came through. It was kind of like a pulsing noise, almost like a sonar pink. Yeah, I'll do it one more time and how I tell Scridger he has to see if he can hear what's going on. Here we go. What's your best guess, Phil? What the heck is that sound? I would have no idea. It doesn't sound good though. You're in space. You've been told you were going to be there for eight days. It's not going to be eight months. Suddenly, eight weeks into this or whatever it is, I think we're about eight weeks now. You've got a pinging sound coming from the spacecraft. Maybe James Carville got in there somehow and he's trapped inside. He's trying to knock it because this is what happens when people get trapped in a cave in. When we have a mine collapse and people get trapped, they tap on metal so that the sound will carry throughout. This is the freakiest thing of the day. All right, how are you? How was that? Yeah, good recording. Thanks, butch. We will pass it on to the team and let you know what we find. And butch just to be, make sure I'm on the same page. This is emanating from the speaker and starliner. You don't notice anything else. Any other noises, any other weird configs in there? Yeah, nothing else. When it's in, there's not like a little furry guy out on the outside of the spacecraft. Is there? You're not seeing like like William Shatner saw on that star on that on that Twilight Zone episode. You're not seeing a little weird creature crawling around, are you? No aliens in there? Is it going any weaver? Yeah, and isn't it? Wouldn't it be weird if it were promotion for the movie? Because isn't there a new aliens film out now? Yes, there is. Rod Mels is out. Yeah. And it's doing pretty well or do they need this kind of promotion? I don't think they need that kind of promotion, especially since it's about that eighth or ninth aliens movie at this point. So, you know, people are going to go. It's pretty good. It's so freaky. This is the freakiest thing yet with this crazy Starliner thing. And I don't think they have fully wrapped their heads around it. Not at all. Just absolutely nutty. Nutty other than that is the rest of Cookie Monster. Now, you're probably thinking this is an episode of Sesame Street, CSI or CSI Sesame Street or Law and Order, Sesame Street. Who knows what's going on? But this is out of Aurora, Colorado, which is a bedroom community of Denver, Colorado. It's very close. It's kind of like saying Wilmington Delaware as it relates to Philly. So if there were a Venezuelan gang that had taken over three apartment complexes in Wilmington, Delaware, and they were walking around with guns and rifles, and they were collecting all of the rent from everybody, you'd think that would make national news, right? You'd think that would be a big stinking deal. Well, it turns out that this is happening in Colorado, just outside of Denver, in the town of Aurora, Colorado. And it's a gang. It's an FBI gang. And the leader of the gang is known as Cookie Monster. Absolutely. That's his name, Cookie Monster. Fox is the only one who seems to really be reporting about Cookie Monster. This is the clip that caught my attention. Just reading through what we know about Cookie Monster. I'm sure you've heard about this local gang leader by now. This is according to the reporting in the New York Post. This person has set up operations with the other gang members there in Aurora. This person allegedly took part of brutal assault at an apartment complex there in Aurora. In March, 2024 was arrested and charged with several felony assault charges, but was bailed out of custody and failed to show up in court. July, 2024, just a couple months ago, arrested for allegedly carrying out a shooting at the same apartment where the previous assault occurred. One of your biggest points is, and we've heard this from others, is that Denver initially downplayed the concerns about this gang takeover. Where's the city now on this? And what are they doing about it? Yeah, well, what the heck are you doing about it, Denver? Downplayed it. And and what are the members of the city council there was talking about it, talking about Cookie Monster. And we should be worried about him, I think. I have heard of this Cookie Monster. I have heard he was arrested and the fact that he is back out on the streets is an epic failure to the people of Aurora in the entire state of Colorado. Well, they've arrested him again. Cookie Monster has been arrested again, but here's the weirdest part in all of this. The authorities in Colorado don't want to tell people which jail he's being held in, because the word that the gangs will swarm the jail to break him out. We've completely lost control of a major city in a major state. Just craziness. Cookie Monster. I wonder if Cookie Monster knows meatball. Remember meatball, Phil? Yes, I do. I wonder where meatball is today. I wonder what she's eating today. Everybody must eat. Everybody must eat. Everybody must eat. Yes, calm down meatball. Uh, phones ringing 855-839-1210. It is, uh, Michael Pelka. And for killing company today, Phil's here with me as well. And joining us to, um, further the discussion on what's happening in space is Bill from Philly. Hello, Bill. Welcome. Well, how are you? Yeah, you know, I heard that last night and it wasn't that long ago where I had my grandkids watch the movie contact with Jodie Foster and, uh, McConedy. I don't know if you ever saw it, but in town thing, the very beginning, they had that same thing with the sound and then you saw what they, you know, they started dissecting all the sand. They come up and then they get a video with the Nazis and Hitler and, you know, it just, it was great. It wasn't really good, good movie, but man, it sounded just like that, that noise. That's amazing. Maybe we're not doing a mystery movie today. Are we, Phil? No, we are not. Darn it. Cause I would say we should pull that scene from contact and see how closely it compares. That's true. Uh, it's close. Bill, do you think maybe that somebody is, um, has a DVD from contact? They're watching inside the starliner. They just want a little break from all the space station stuff. I'm not a real, I'm not a real alien, you know, I'm not a real believer. You know, not, when I say I'm not a believer, but it definitely wouldn't surprise me if there were other planets or other things being, but even if there were, and if we, you know, we share that the government covering it up and I never hear them say one of the real reasons I believe that there were any type of contact that we don't know about, that for the cover up, would be because of religion. Because can you imagine they, they hook up with these aliens? I mean, the first thing I would ask them is who do you worship? That's an interesting question. We'll be the first thing you'd ask an alien. Do you guys believe in God? That'd be a very interesting question. Who sent you? What guy? What guy did they believe in? Well, imagine if they, if they did, and can you imagine what would happen here with all these religions and all of a sudden they say, wait a minute. These people, these, these creatures, whatever, are way more advanced than we are, are way smarter, and they, they don't believe what these, what we believe in. You know, so it would, it'd be something they'd have to cover up, I'm sure. I'm worried, Bill, and I'm not one of those people who believes in extraterrestrial, I don't think there's anything out there. That's just my personal belief. Everybody else has their own thinking. But if there were, I think of it as if they, you know, if you're here, if you're sent here, are you like the people they sent to Australia? Because, you know, the Brits send a bunch of criminals to Australia. It was a penal colony to start out. So are they sending their best here? Or is it like Donald Trump says they're emptying the prisons and sending them all here? Just a, just a thought. Yeah, I, yeah, I don't think, you know, I believe if anybody, if that were to raise any content, anything like that, it's only going to be the same reason why we go in this space. We're looking for something. So they're looking for something. I'm Jean Marie Laskis. I'm a journalist. I spend my career helping Americans understand the lives of other Americans, coal miners, gun shop clerks, staffers in the White House mailroom. Michael Pelke in for Cal & Company. I'm having a little flashback here in 1980s and that's jam comes on at happy hour and Fridays. I have to get up from the backgammon board and hit the dance floor. That's kind of a scary thought, isn't it? It's a very scary thought, Michael Pelke. And that song has been out for my god 45, there'll be a 45-year anniversary on that song. It's crazy. Yes. It's amazing. It's amazing. We are holding on the fort here on a Monday, Opelke here and Phil is keeping me on the rails. Sort of, but just to show you that we're trying to get as close to Cal & Company on this Monday, it's 749 in time for the cut sheet. What's on the cut sheet? What's on the cut sheet brought to you by Cherry Hill Volvo, where they have amazingly competitive pricing plus an additional $1,000 discount on all new Volvos. Cherry Hill Volvo is where relationships really do matter. Judith, the host of the entire team are looking forward to meeting you. Thank you, Cherry Hill Volvo. Thank you. That is one of the nicest dealerships you'll ever visit too. It really is. I've been there, loved it and I hope you go there too. As I said, it's the cut sheet. We have so much to get to on the cut sheet. I want to make sure we remind ourselves that Jim called just a few moments ago and said, "Hey, I'm really ticked off that this assassination attempt of Donald John Trump has kind of slid off the front pages." And you're right. He clearly did his research online looking at all the different individuals that he thought he might want to attack and he chose this one. So a target of opportunity versus a targeted assassination attempt. They're talking about the guy who climbed the bell tower at University of Texas Austin and tried picking off people. One of the other things, so this weekend I attended the Arden Fair in Arden, Delaware, the little community where we live and we go from about 850 people to about 10,000 people on one day for one day and it's a fun little fair and because it's an election year, the entrance to the fair and there's only one way to walk in was a gauntlet of political candidates in Delaware. Most of them Democrats. I met one Republican senatorial candidate Eric May be with us. I don't know if he's going to call today, but I talked with gubernatorial candidates etc. And in the area there, there were people holding up a banner that said Kennedy Shanahan for the people. And I'm thinking, you guys know Robert Kennedy suspended his campaign and he's supporting Donald Trump, right? You're aware of that, aren't you? They were like those Japanese guys found in the jungles in the fifties after the end of World War II, which by the way, today's the anniversary of the actual surrender of Japan and decades later, they were finding people in the islands off the off the coast of Japan and these people were hiding thinking they were still fighting the war. I guess that's what happened to the Kennedy Shanahan people. They seemed nice enough, but they they were out there holding up banners and handing out buttons and I got a button from them. But I want to play this clip for you from Robert Kennedy talking to Tucker Carlson about what's going on in the political process today. So what is this realignment that you mentioned at the outset? Because this does feel like it's bigger than just this November. Yeah, I mean, there's been a series of these realignments throughout American history and, you know, there's history books that are written about, you know, the realignments, I think there's about five of them. And one of those is clearly happening now because you see on so many issues, you know, you've had an inversion. The Democratic Party has become the party of the elites. It used to be the party of the poor in the working class. In fact, there was a study that came out just recently that I saw that showed that 70 percent that the people who voted for Biden own 70 percent of the wealth in this country, the people who voted for Trump own 30 percent. That's that right there at the end should tell you everything you need to know about why Donald Trump is campaigning the way he's campaigning. The working people are going for Donald Trump. Now today you're going to see Biden and Harris are out and about campaigning and they're going to go after union votes in Michigan and then they will have an event in Pittsburgh trying to claim that they own the high ground on the Jewish vote. But it is that specific number 70 percent of the wealthy people. Well, they're voting for Biden. They don't have they don't have the working class anymore. She was having a discussion with Bill Maher on his program and Phil a preemptive warning here. I think this has been bleeped. I hope so. We'll find out together. The California lawmakers just passed the law. It hasn't been signed by Governor Newsom, but giving government assistance to undocumented immigrants to buy houses. That's kind of a different place than the Democratic party used to be on immigration. It's a non market. I say that's what the country is going to do. But that's certainly where California is. Well, let me just say immigration had always been a bipartisan issue. I refer you to the non free houses. He just don't want everybody coming through the door. I think she's misreading Reagan. But she is about to tell you the secret about what she really wants. What she and the Democrats really have planned. It's all coming out here. No, that's I don't do justice to the great communicator. Yes, you're right. That's that's the first truthful thing she said. She doesn't do justice to the great communicator. But continue, madam, Google it. It's a fabulous speech. And George Herbert Walker Bush continued in that respect for the diversity of America and the rest. Now, California is always in the lead. Maybe others will follow that lead. But that's up to those states, but we are very blessed here with beautiful diversity. Do you vote for this law? Excuse me. So you'd vote for this law? Well, I don't, I'm not familiar with exactly what it is, but making the American dream of home ownership available to all people is something we have to do for people who are now before you're interested. This is undocumented. This is for the undocumented. Well, what I would like to do is move them to documented. There it is right there. Bill Marsh trying to make a point here. California is about to pass a law and it's about to go to Newsome's desk. What this law would do is give interest free loans, basically free money to people here illegally. Undocumented people would have access to $150,000 in loans to purchase a home. Undocumented people, illegal people. And Pelosi, when hearing that, she's trying to say, Oh, this is about the American dream. The people who are here, she's not saying American citizens. They're never saying American citizens. The Democrats are never for you. They are for them by doing this gives them more power, builds their power base, they think in case you missed it here, Mars trying to make a point. And she actually says the quiet part out loud here with beautiful diversity. Yeah, you'd vote for this law. Excuse me. So you'd vote for this law. Well, I don't I'm not familiar with exactly what it is, but making the American dream of home ownership available to all people is something we have to do for people who are now. This is before you, this is this undocumented. It's kind of to start one of the best things that we can do for our economy is to pass comprehensive immigration reform. After you close the border, madam, but she said the quiet part out loud. She told the real story. She told the story. And speaking of telling the story, one of the stories of California today that will probably come here to Philadelphia and I'm sure to Harrisburg as well is the continued push for reparations. The push for reparations is ongoing. It's never going away. It'll always be someone's always going to raise their hand and go, what about reparations? Never mind the fact you you had the first black president of, I don't know, a couple of years ago with that Obama guy. And you have a, by your account, the first black vice president currently, but the call for reparations continues. The state of Illinois hears that the city of Chicago keeps bringing it up. California is constantly talking about it. A booming economy is what brings reparations to all. Low inflation, low interest rates, affordable housing. Kamala Harris was talking about four years ago with Al Sharpton, who I will not give ministerial credentials to. He is not a minister, in my opinion. He likes to think he is. He's as much of a minister as I am. I have a $75 ministerial credential he bought from the Universal Life Church of Modesto, California. It allows me to marry people. That's, I'm as legitimate as Al Sharpton when it comes to being a minister. But in 2021, Kamala Harris was running for president for the first time and she failed. She went and talked with Al Sharpton's organization called the National Action Network, which is also something he can't pronounce. He calls it the National Action Network, but he has sloppy diction. But Sharpton had Kamala Harris on, on the stage with him at the National Action Network annual meeting, and he asked her about reparations. If you elected president, would you sign that bill if it came across your desk? When I am elected president, I will sign it. Yes, the cackle and the commitment, the cackle and the commitment, if and when she is elected president, God forbid, if you're looking down upon us, Lord, save America, she has committed to signing the bill that would pay reparations. And someone needs to ask her that question the next time she sits for an interview. Will she sit for an interview? I don't know. I really don't know. I don't know if we're ever going to get another interview with Kamala Harris after the last one was such a disaster on CNN. And then right after that interview, she was so wiped out, she went out to a rally in Savannah, Georgia and talked about the termination of the of the United States of America, the Constitution. She was crazy. I think she got a little, a little Joe Biden syndrome. He even called for termination of the United States Supreme, the Supreme land of our nation, the United States Constitution. What? Yeah, that is Kamala. She was channeling Joe Biden from 2020, when he was in San Antonio. We all these truth to be self-evident. There's another one, I believe in Pennsylvania here Wednesday coming up. So stay tuned for that. They are really where Donald Trump shines. But Donald Trump said he plans to make IVF in vitro fertilization free to everybody. But can we afford it? That's the question. All of these policy statements that people are making from the reparations Kamala Harris is claiming that she will sign to banning fracking, to no tax on tips, to no tax on social security. One of the things you have to ask is are we going to be able to pay for that? Tom Cotton had an interesting back and forth with Kristen Welker on this. Stick with Donald Trump, his big announcement on IVF this week. He said Thursday he wants the government to pay for or force insurance companies to cover IVF. Is that something you would support, Senator? Well, all Republicans, to my knowledge, support IVF in the Congress. And there's no state that prohibits or regulates IVF in a way that makes it inaccessible. It is expensive for many couples. I understand that. So it's something I'm open to that most Republicans be open to. I think we'd have to evaluate the fiscal impact, whether the taxpayer can afford to pay for this, what impact it would have on premiums. But in principle, supporting couples who are trying to use IVF or other fertility treatments, I don't think it's something that's controversial at all. Well, two months ago, you voted against a Senate bill that would have protected and expand IVF access. And it would have mandated that some coverage was covered by health insurance plans. If that bill came back to the floor, would you now support it? Is that what you're saying? You mean Chuck Schumer's ridiculous messaging bill? So no, that requires fertility treatment for men who think they're women that's slapped together and it's somber. It's a bill that also would have protection and expanded. Chuck Schumer has been all summer. Chuck Schumer's been all summer long slapping together ridiculous bills that he thinks are going to help his liberal incumbent senators face off in their realizations. Very quickly. Well, no, again, that's why I say we'd have to we'd have to evaluate any specific legislations I do on any specific list. I'd have to evaluate any specific legislations I would on any legislation. So you're still undecided on where you stand on this government funded IVF plan? Well, I certainly support couples having access to IVF and it's not even a controversial issue in any of the 50 states. So Welker keeps trying to get the gotcha moment. And yet she keeps failing, which is one of my favorite things about all of these moments with the the political left. They keep trying to get the gotcha moment with people like Tom Cotton. There was another moment yesterday on the Sunday talk shows on this week on ABC where the Colorado Governor Jared Polis, who is a big leftist and out there speech and fine on behalf of Kamala Harris, he's trying to say that that she's always been for a border wall. Never mind the fact. She's the one who called it of a medieval vanity project. This exchange is absolutely worth its weight in gold. That didn't come up in the CNN interview is her now apparent support for at least in some aspects, the border wall. I mean, have we seen in her in her ad on the border? She uses images of the border wall. She says she'll sign the Senate bill, which provided $650 million for a more border wall construction. She had called previously the border wall a medieval vanity project and a stupid use of money that she vowed to block. So what's changed there? Well, first of all, I have to stop before Jared Polis tries to fix this problem. I'm absolutely stunned. I know you are too. This happened on ABC News. This is what appears to be a journalist's question coming out of the mouth of Jonathan Carl, which almost never happens on ABC News, especially when George Stephanopoulos is up there. What do you think Jared Polis said in response to this question about Kamala Harris apparent flip-flop on the border wall? Look, this is another issue that as it gets to the public discourse is very misleading. Democrats in general Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Barack Obama have always been supportive of building barriers and walls for certain parts of the border. It's whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, they always crouch on Obama have always been supportive in building certain parts of the barriers and walls for certain parts of the border. They called it a joke. Biden said walls don't work when when they took office and they signed all the executive orders that prevented the building of the walls and they let all the equipment that was there ready to be installed, deteriorate, and then sold it for pennies on the dollar pennies, millions and millions of your tax dollars spent to buy all that stuff auctioned off at bargain basement prices. This is who's out there speechifying for Kamala Harris. Part of a comprehensive border security strategy strategy. She called the border wall a medieval vanity project, a stupid use of money and said that she would block funding for it. So she wasn't talking about supporting. Well, I'm stunned. Again, I have to say this is Jonathan Carl. This is a ABC News. He asked a follow up question and said, Hey, hold on a second. Is ABC News suddenly waking up? Is this because they're getting ready to have a debate? Is this because they are going to host the debate that maybe suddenly they're trying to show they have journalistic bona fides? I don't know the wall. I mean, that's true. The border wall that Donald Trump has proposed is a huge boondoggle and waste of taxpayer money. He effectively talked about a wall across the entire border rather than using barriers of different kinds effectively in a cost effective manner, including imagery from satellites, including on-the-ground intel to secure and lock down the border up. I'm just thinking, how much money would it cost to staff satellites monitoring the border and then have people monitoring the images from the satellite? Because you know, it's pretty cheap to just throw a satellite into space as opposed to putting a 25 or 30 foot border wall up, right? That's got to be a price comparison we could deal with. These people don't know what they're talking about. They really don't. What Kamala Harris is for is security in the most cost effective way possible to stop. Yeah, put a wall. Not satellites. Put a wall. The illegal flow of people, of guns, of drugs across that southern border. And of course, Donald Trump's border wall would not work, would waste taxpayer money. And of course, barriers and walls are a part of the overall comprehensive strategy that Kamala Harris will deliver on to secure the southern border. Hmm. Can't have it both ways, Governor. You cannot have it both ways. It's impossible. But that's who these people are. They try to tell you one thing after they have done the exact opposite. We go back to that, that lesson. When they point a finger at you, there are three pointing right back at themselves. Every time they tell you they're doing something, they're doing it themselves. Or would they accuse you of doing something? They are doing it themselves. They tend to do it that way. That's the way it is. We have, I gotta get to so much here. There's a giant pile. I mentioned George Clooney, George Clooney, the actor, the guy who presided over the massive fundraiser for Joe Biden, the one where you had Barack Obama have to grab the president by the hand or by the arm and guide him off stage. Remember when Biden froze on stage at that big Hollywood fundraiser? It was a huge event and Biden got up with Obama at the end and they were waving to the crowd and Joe suddenly froze like the battery wore down? Yeah, that was embarrassing. They took in millions and millions of dollars and then within days suddenly Biden was out. Kamala was in. But never mind that, we now have to repair the image of Joe Biden, the guy who spent the last 16 days on the beach, either in California or in Delaware. So Clooney has decided that he has to elevate Joe Biden to the status of, oh, you're probably thinking Barack Obama, right? No, no, you're probably thinking he's going to compare him to JFK, right? No, because the Democrats hate JFK now. They don't like the Kennedy's now, not just because of RFK Jr, but because JFK was the guy who wanted you to have lower taxes. He wouldn't be allowed in the Democrat party today. JFK go back and look at his policies. So Clooney's going all the way back, all the way back to the very first president to tell us that Joe Biden is like George Washington. The person who should be applauded is the president who did the most selfless thing that innovated on since George Washington. And that's true. And so anybody, all the machinations that got us there, none of that's going to be remembered. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. He wants us to think of Joe Biden as a selfless hero. And he's reading off a piece of paper. Remember, he's an actor. He used to being told where to stand, what to where and what to say, and how to say it. We won't remember the fact that Biden was pushed out by a palace coup, led by Nancy Pelosi in Barack Obama and God knows how many other big wealthy donors and friends of yours. None of the machinations will be remembered. No, it's only going to be the selfless act. Ask Jill Biden. Ask Lady MacBiden. If it is, in fact, a selfless act, or was it a palace coup? He's got more to read. And it shouldn't be what should be remembered is the selfless act. He's looking down at the page and reading what should be remembered is the selfless act. And it shouldn't be what should be remembered is the selfless act of someone who, you know, it's very hard to let go of. He lost his place. He lost his place. That's why you hear the right there. You should have memorized your lines, George. To be remembered is the selfless act of someone who, you know, it's very hard to let go of power. You know, we know that we've seen it, you know, all around the world. Have you? And for someone to say, I think there's a better way forward. That's all the credit goes to him. And that's really the truth. And all the rest of it will be long gone and forgotten. And so I'm just, I'm just very proud of where we are in the state of the world right now, which I think many people are surprised by. And I think we're all very excited for the future. What did any of that last 10 seconds even mean? Seriously, George, really, can we diagram the sentence? And that's really the truth. And all the rest of it will be long gone and forgotten. And so I'm, I'm just, I'm just very proud of where we are in the state of the world right now, which I think many people are surprised by. And I think we're all very excited for the future. That means nothing. That is a giant pile of nothingness that George Clooney has just delivered. And he's reading it. The entire statement is prepared and he's reading it. He made his friends shell out millions of dollars, knowing that Biden was cognitively impaired. And now he's trying to remake Joe Biden's history and Joe Biden's reputation by saying he's like George Washington. Did you get that from Nancy? Did Nancy tell you she was there? Wow, craziness. Oh, so many people checking in this morning. I got to say how to Deb Kennedy checking in. Thank you, Deb, for being there. We appreciate you for tuning in. And Susie Cool is with us as well. I have so many more clips to get to. Do we do a second edition of the cut sheet, Phil? Well, we could. Nothing sponsored, but we could. Totally. Spoken like a true tool of the sales department. You know, I got to do what I got to do. I love that. No, I have, I have so many more clips. I'm looking at the clock. I'm going, are we okay on time? It's probably good time to take a break at this point. And then you can come back and play more clips. How about that? That'd be a good thing. Or maybe we'll get a little education on the burner launcher, the less lethal protection option that I was telling you about. I mean, we'll see where you can fit this in. We also have to talk about cookie monster because did Nick talk about cookie monster? As I was saying, off the era, I don't think he ever talked about cookie monster in the way you're going to talk about cookie monster. Cookie monster's been arrested. Here's a few things I believe. Middle-class families, like the one I grew up in, they want common-sense solutions. You want lower prices and lower taxes. I believe you want to just not get by, but you want to get ahead. We must create an opportunity economy where everyone has a chance to get a car loaned by a home start a business. And I believe we can make that happen. Kamala Harris' plan? Bring down costs by cracking down on corporate price vouchers. Make homeownership more affordable for families. I told you to give an update on the San Francisco 49ers quarterback, the first round draft choice who was shot in San Francisco on the week and released on Sunday after he was shot on Saturday. The mayor in San Francisco said the most ridiculous thing. She said this sets back our efforts to reduce crime. Thanks a lot for that mayor. Thanks Captain Obvious. It's just like really, really mayor. Truly. I did mention earlier that the troubled Boeing Starliner rocket ship has another chapter coming out of it. And this is news. They're going to fly it back to Earth but they're going to send it back unmanned or I'm sorry. Don't turn me in, Phil. Do not turn me into HR. I misspoke. Unpersoned. It is going to be flown on a remote control return to the earth because they're worried that the Starliner still has some technical problems. And then yesterday we heard that the crew is reporting hearing strange sounds emanating from the spacecraft. I believe I found it. You know too, I've got a question about Starliner. Ethan's with you, but you got it. The strange noise coming through the speaker and I didn't know if you could connect into the Starliner and let me keep my voice here. I don't know what's making it, but I don't know if something that maybe connected between here and there making that happen. But anyway, can you do that? We can configure that butch. Give us a minute and I'll call you back when it's ready. Okay. So now butch is up in the International Space Station. He's one of the guys who's supposed to be there eight days, but the Starliner went up and they're thinking, eh, we don't want to go back in this thing. So you're going to be up there until February when we can get another craft up there. We can send up supplies and maybe send up an out of state or a remote voting ballot to the people. By the way, I think the ballots are going out in the mail this week. So pay attention to that. I did see a FedEx truck going through a cemetery last week, Phil. So I know that the ballots are already going out. Oh, I did see that actually too. Yeah. That's a good sign. It was good. Very good sign. But back to the Boeing Starliner crew. Butch says we're hearing something from the ship. Now, you're thousands of miles above the Earth and you're traveling along at 14,000 miles an hour or something like that. And you're hearing something. And you want to know what the heck's going on. So let's let's see if we can figure out what the heck this is. Station Houston on to working figured for audio via hardline and CST. You want to give us a call? Okay. I mean, I'm in strong order. How do you read? 5.5. How me? I said, okay, I'll put the mic up next to speaker. Copy. And negative butch. We did not hear anything. So he like held this cell phone up to the speaker and they didn't hear anything. I didn't hear anything either. So let's see if they can do a direct link inside the craft. Phil, you hearing that? You hearing that pounding? I did hear that. Let's let's hear that again. Copy. That negative butch. We did not hear anything. All right. Butch. That one came through. It was kind of like a pulsing noise almost like a sonar ping. I'll do it one more time and I'll show us what's going on. Here we go. What's your best guess, Phil? What the heck is that sound? I would have no idea. Doesn't sound good though. You're in space. You've been told you were going to be there for eight days. It's not going to be eight months. Suddenly eight weeks into this or whatever it is. I think we're about eight weeks now. You've got a pinging sound coming from the spacecraft. Maybe James Carville got in there somehow and he's trapped inside. He's trying to knock because this is what happens when people get trapped in a cave in. When we have a mind collapse and people get trapped, they tap on metal so that the sound will carry throughout. This is the freakiest thing of the day. All right. How are you? How was that figured out? Good recording. Thanks Butch. We will pass it on to the team and let you know what we find. And Butch just to be, make sure I'm on the same page. This is emanating from the speaker and Starliner. You don't notice anything else. Any other noises, any other weird configs in there? There's nothing else. There's nothing else. There's not like a little furry guy out on the outside of the spacecraft. Is there? You're not seeing like William Shatner saw on that star on that Twilight Zone episode. You're not seeing a little weird creature crawling around, are you? No aliens in there. Is it going any weaver? Yeah. And isn't it? Wouldn't it be weird if it were a promotion for the movie? Because isn't there a new aliens film out now? Yes, there is. Rod Meiles is out. Yeah. And it's doing pretty well or do they need this kind of promotion? I don't think they need that kind of promotion, especially since it's about that eighth or ninth aliens movie at this point. So, you know, people are going to go. I think it's so freaky. This is the freakiest thing yet with this crazy Starliner thing. And I don't think they have fully wrapped their heads around it. Not at all. Just absolutely nutty. Nuttyer than that is the rest of Cookie Monster. Now, you're probably thinking this is an episode of Sesame Street CSI or CSI Sesame Street or Law and Order Sesame Street. Who knows what's going on? But this is out of Aurora, Colorado, which is a bedroom community of Denver, Colorado. It's very close. It's kind of like saying Wilmington, Delaware as it relates to Philly. So, if there were a Venezuelan gang that had taken over three apartment complexes in Wilmington, Delaware, and they were walking around with guns and rifles and they were collecting all of the rent from everybody, you'd think that would make national news, right? In March 2024, was arrested and charged with several felony assault charges, but was bailed out of custody and failed to show up in court. July 2024, just a couple months ago, arrested for allegedly carrying out a shooting at the same apartment where the previous assault occurred. One of your biggest points is, and we've heard this from others, is that Denver initially downplayed the concerns about this gang takeover. Where's the city now on this, and what are they doing about it? Yeah, well, what the heck are you doing about it, Denver? Downplayed it. And and one of the members of the city council there was talking about it, talking about Cookie Monster. And we should be worried about him, I think. I have heard of this Cookie Monster. I have heard he was arrested. And the fact that he is back out on the streets is an epic failure to the people of Aurora and the entire state of Colorado. Well, they've arrested him again. Cookie Monster has been arrested again, but here's the weirdest part in all of this. The authorities in Colorado don't want to tell people which jail he's being held in, because they're worried that the gangs will swarm the jail to break him out. We've completely lost control of a major city in a major state. Just craziness, Cookie Monster. I wonder if Cookie Monster knows Meatball. Remember Meatball, Phil? Yes, I do. I wonder where Meatball is today. I wonder what she's eating today. Everybody must eat. Everybody must eat. Everybody must eat. Yes, calm down Meatball. Phones are ringing 855-839-1210. It is Michael Pelka in Fort Kale and company today. Phil's here with me as well. And joining us to further the discussion on what's happening in space is Bill from Philly. Hello, Bill. Welcome. Well, how are you? Yeah, you know, I heard that last night. And it wasn't that long ago where I had my grandkids watch the movie "Contact" with Jody Forster and Meconity. I don't know if you ever saw it, but in town thing, the very beginning they had that same thing with the sound. And then you saw, you know, they started dissecting all the sound. They come up and then they get a video with the Nazis and Hitler. And, you know, it just was great. It wasn't really good moving, but man, it sounded just like that. That noise. That's amazing. Maybe we're not doing the mystery movie today, are we Phil? No, we are not. Darn it. Because I would say we should pull that scene from contact. See how closely it compares. That's true. It's close. Bill, do you think maybe that somebody has a DVD from contact? They're watching inside the Starliner. They just want a little break from all the space stations. I'm not a real alien, you know. I'm not a real believer. You know, when I say I'm not a believer, but it definitely wouldn't surprise me if there were other planets or other things being. But even if there were, and if we, you know, you always share about the government covering it up. And I never hear them say one of the real reasons I believe if there were any type of contact that we don't know about, that for the cover up, would be because of religion. Because can you imagine they, they hook up with these aliens? I mean, the first thing I would ask him is who do you worship? That's an interesting question. What would be the first thing you'd ask an alien? Oh, do you guys believe in God? That'd be a very interesting question. But who sent you? What God, what God didn't believe in. But can you imagine if they, if they did, and can you imagine what would happen here with all these religions and all of a sudden they say, wait a minute. These people are these, these creatures, whatever, are way more advanced than we are way smarter. And they, they don't believe what we believe in. You know, so it would, it'd be something they'd have to cover up. I'm sure. I'm worried, Bill, and I'm not one of those people who believes in extraterrestrial. I don't think there's anything out there. That's just my personal belief. Everybody else has their own thinking. But if there were, I think of it as if they, you know, if you're here, if you're sent here, are you like the people they sent to Australia? Because, you know, the Brits send a bunch of criminals to Australia was a penal colony to start out. So are they sending their best here? Or is it like Donald Trump says they're emptying the prisons and sending them all here? Just a, just a thought. Yeah, I don't think, you know, I believe if anybody, if ever there is any content, anything like that, it's only going to be the same reason why we go in this space. We're looking for something. So they're looking for something, but they're just waiting for advance. If they got here, they definitely are way more advanced than we are. That's a fair point. But see, I just don't think there's anything out there. But thanks for the reference on contact, which was a great movie, stunning movie. Now we have to go back and look for that scene. Thank you, Bill. Appreciate you being there. If you have a thought on this or the other question, kind of random question of the day, there is a discussion raised by an op-ed in the New York Times today saying that we need to get rid of the penny, that the penny is done. The penny is tough. Stick a fork in it and turn it over. Are we done with the penny? I don't know how I feel, but I could be done with it. I don't carry him around except he uses a ball marker on the golf course, generally. Just a thought. 855-839-1210 is the number. When we return, Phil, have you ever been to a funeral for a chicken? No, I can safely say I have not. Are you sure? Well, yes, I am pretty sure. Okay. A funeral for a chicken happened over the weekend in a grocery store. And I didn't see it, but somebody did and I have to share it with you. It's madness that is worth enjoying. It's Michael Palka, InfraKale and Company and Talk Radio 1210-WPhD. This is the Kale and Company podcast from Talk Radio 1210-WPhD and on the free Odyssey app. We talked earlier about the shooting of the 49ers first-round draft pick Ricky Pearsall. The weird part is it was a 17-year-old member of the North Tenno gang from Tracy, California, so I guess it's not an illegal. Caught with a gun just three days ago, released and now shot the 49ers player. Hmm, they released them. That's so amazing. We predicted that. So there you go. California, nice knowing you. Just just unbelievable. It's happened in California, especially San Francisco. Yesterday in case you missed it, Donald Trump made an appearance on television and he will be doing another town hall this week. Wednesday, I don't have the location Phil, you don't have the location of the town hall, do you, for Trump? No, you're not. Well, we'll find it. It's Wednesday. We got a couple days. I would love to attend one of those. I attended the York PA event by Mr. Trump two weeks ago and it was very good, a small event, very personal. I didn't get to yell my question at him even though I was ready and waiting and willing, but I did not get a chance to shout my question at him. I did mention earlier as well that I saw a story about a chicken funeral and Phil was saying he hadn't been to a chicken funeral. I have been to a chicken funeral either. I've helped in the elimination of chickens by fire in the past. I presided over. It wasn't quite the incineration of chicken, although there were some burn chickens on a couple of times, but I didn't turn it into ash. But this is what's going on in some of the crazy parts of the world. Liberal vegans are going into grocery stores and holding funerals for chickens while people are trying to shop. Now imagine you're in a grocery store and a guy's in there and he's wearing a suit and tie. He looks like a normal person, but he has two other people dressed like they're attending a funeral as well. They're in dark suits, women in dark dresses, black dresses, and they've got a miniature coffin with them. It's about five feet long. It's not a small coffin and they decide to let everybody know in the meat department that they're holding a funeral. It's not food. It's violence. Within these walls, the final indignities were perpetrated on the gentlest beings of earth. We have a dream that day will come. People will see what's to say about animals, is tell us different about them. People will see. We are here today to mourn the lives of those who lie dead behind us. Each one of these animals whose legs, ribs, and other mutilated body parts are delicious if you put the right sauce on them. Exactly. The store security is trying to go. Listen, you've got to go. There's people walking by and they've got their little carry baskets, and they're like, "Excuse me. Excuse me. Pardon me. Excuse me." I just think anybody who thinks this is going to change anyone's mind by going into a grocery store and holding a funeral for chicken. You've got a problem and you need help. I'm sure you probably have mental health coverage in your coverage, wherever the vegan people are working these days, because I do think they all seem to have good suits and they're probably employed. I have vegan members in my own family. I know you're saying, "Really?" Yes. They don't do well on Thanksgiving because we don't do Tofurky. I don't know anybody who does Tofurky. I wouldn't admit to knowing anybody who does Tofurky, and you shouldn't either. But it's pretty funny to watch these people. This never happens to me when I'm at the store. I've never been at the store when there's been a protest. I wish I'd beg for the day that we'd be able to see one of these. A couple of other things come around the corner. I mentioned the Second Amendment earlier. What a big fan I am of the Second Amendment. I am never going to give up on the Second Amendment. After the first, it's the most important amendment. There are people who don't carry firearms, who don't own firearms, and they're still worried. They're still worried about their own safety. I heard about something about six months ago when I was at the gun show outside of Philly, one of the greater Philly gun shows. It's a non-lethal method of protecting yourselves. Next hour, I'm going to explain what I'm talking about. We'll talk about it. I know Judge Janine uses it. It's so weird because, like I said, I got mine six months ago, and lately I've heard Judge Janine Pirro bring it up on the five a couple of times. We'll get into it. Maybe you know about it. It's called a burner. If you have one or if you have a thought on, you're welcome to call us 855-839-1210. We have so many more things to get to, update on what's going on halfway around the world in Israel. Our American Israeli citizen was executed over the weekend, and what did the Harris Biden administration have to say about it? We'll share, and we'll talk more. Next hour, 4th hour, coming up next on Kale & Company, on WPHD. If you want to see what Zioli looks like since his vacation, some people speculated that he was getting plastic surgery or hair transplants. He doesn't need hair transplants. The guy's got such a great head of hair. I'm so jealous of his hair. I don't have the hair I used to have. Rich is going to be on Fox News around 9/15. You keep the radio on, then you turn on Fox News, and when you see him pop up, it's okay to mute me for a little bit and put Rich on. That's cool. I'm okay with that. He's my buddy. He's my pal. I don't know if he's going to talk about the space aliens aboard the Boeing Starliner and all the noise they're making, but it'll be good to see him because I haven't seen him in a while, and he was on vacation last week. And by the way, Friday, live remote from Zioli's happy place, of course, the Grand Hotel of Cape May, the oceanfront Grand Hotel of Cape May, Friday's the only show. Free to go, free to attend. You should go. And I think they opened the bar as soon as the show starts, not for Rich, but it should be a good time. But he'll be on Fox News in about 10 minutes, and hey, Phil, should we dip in and cover that? I don't know. I don't think so, but maybe. Okay. Message received. We just had a show meeting right there. The situation room is actually going to host the president today. It's been 16 days since Joe Biden showed up for work. I know. I know the White House travels with the president. He's been working from the beach beaches in California at the home of his really wealthy friend. And now he's at home and Delaware at his very expensive beach house, the most expensive beach house in the state of Delaware surrounded by a wall that we the taxpayers paid for to protect the president, by the way, Biden heading back to the White House to hold a situation room meeting about the situation in Israel after six hostages were assassinated by Hamas in a tunnel under Gaza, one of them being an American. Yes, one of the Americans that we thought was still alive was until this weekend, Hirsch Goldberg, Poland, shot in the back of the head, assassinated, killed by Hamas terrorists. And there will be a situation room meeting today. And I can already tell you what they're going to say. We have to have a ceasefire and Israel must stand down. No, I'm sorry, Mr. President. Hamas is the one who started this 332 days ago, 332 days ago. You need to put pressure on Iran. You need to put pressure on Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and you do that by pressuring Iran. So what does Kamala Harris's running mate think about this? What does Kamala Harris is running mate think? Tim Walls, he was at the state fair, I think, in Minnesota, walking around and had his t-shirt and his baseball cap on, looking like he's just a normal guy. He was asked about any reaction to the six hostages being found dead in Gaza. He had been walking around in that weird hand wave that he does. And then this happened. Turned around, absolutely turned his back to the young lady asking the question. Turned his back and walked away. Very interesting. This is the same guy who years ago taught in China. And he's got pictures of all of his trips to China. And he told everybody he was a Harvard teacher. He was not. He was not. He never went to Harvard. Remember how he made fun of JD Vance going to Yale? This is a guy who we believe has more in common with the Chinese government than he does with the Constitution of the United States of America. And turned his back when a reporter asked the question. What do you think about the six hostages found dead? Boy, oh boy, oh boy. So if he's not a problem enough, Kamala Harris also has problems with her policies. And more and more, we're starting to see this happen on social media. We're starting to see reports from former Democrats stepping up and saying they're changing. Like the tragedy that this man shared his story, he used to be a Kamala Harris supporter. I was a Kamala Harris supporter. That changed after an illegal alien murdered my son. Running him over, then driving back and forth over Drew's body three times. The man who killed my son had been arrested previously, but Kamala Harris let him go. The San Francisco's D.A. Kamala was soft on crime. As a senator, she supported releasing criminal aliens back into our neighborhoods. Kamala Harris is dangerous. Preserve America. Yeah, all of these packs are now putting out these testimonials from people. I think this is a change in the way the politics runs. And I think it's a good sign. It's a healthy sign because until this point, we were just getting partisan arguments. These are people who decided to switch and change and stand up and say, here's my story. We played it earlier. I don't think we have time to play it again today, but I will post a link to the two minute and 15 second video that has been put together by the Trump campaign talking about, in their own words, the eight gold star families who are absolutely furious with the administration for going after Donald Trump and saying that he had no business at Arlington National speaking of Trump. Mr. Trump had a statement this weekend that's kind of got the left trying to figure it out. Mr. Trump posted a statement about his support for legalizing marijuana in Florida. This is on the heels of dumb Trump saying that he wants to support government payment for in vitro fertilization. The left really doesn't know how to handle this. Dumb Trump said, as everyone knows, I was and will be the most respected law and order president in US history. We will take our streets back by being tough and smart and violent and other types of crime in Florida, like so many other states have already given their approval. Personal amounts of marijuana will be legalized for adults with amendment three. That's something they're voting on this week. They're also voting on a abortion ban at six weeks, which Trump doesn't support. He goes on to say whether people like it or not, this will happen through the approval of the voters. So it should be done correctly. And I think he's right here. This is where Trump gets it. He stands up and says, look, the voters are going to vote for this. So let's make sure it's done correctly and smartly. And what does that mean? Well, he details it. We need the state legislature to responsibly create laws that prohibit the use of marijuana in public spaces. So we do not smell marijuana everywhere we go like we do in many Democrat run cities. He's right. If you walked around some of the streets here in Philadelphia, occasionally you'll get a a whiff. You might even get a contact eye. You walk around New York City. It's everywhere. Donald Trump doesn't like it. And he's trying to make sure that, listen, if it's going to be legalized to it, right? He goes on to say at the same time someone should not be a criminal in Florida when this is legal in so many other states. See, I think this is one of the big things with 26 states. I think it is right now 26 states. It is legal to possess and use in your home cannabis products, whether you're smoking it or taking edibles or whatever it is. We do not need to ruin the lives and waste taxpayer dollars arresting adults with personal amounts of it on them. And no one should grieve a loved one because they died from fentanyl lace marijuana. We will make America safe again. Now, here's the weird part. I was expecting Mr. Trump to mention the tax revenues, which could be garnered by this because many times when a state chooses to go through the decriminalization and or legalization of marijuana, they frequently mentioned how much money they're planning on bringing in in taxes. That's not in this conversation where it is solely based on, I think it's decent logic. I think it makes a very good point, but I'm not, I'm not a big fan of the legalization of recreational marijuana. I'm a huge fan of medical marijuana, gigantic fan of medical marijuana. But until we understand how you measure whether or not someone's high, it's a danger to me. And there are people on the road driving 6,000 pound machines at high rates of speed. And if their reactions are altered because they're stoned, that becomes a very dangerous situation. And we can get a breath analyzer pretty much instantly to test whether someone's driving while intoxicated. But to my knowledge, I don't think there's currently a situation where you can have somebody breathe into a machine and you can tell if they're stoned or not. And it's not always smokeable. It's something they might have eaten. So while I applaud Mr. Trump for bringing a logical conversation on this, I'm not on board yet. I'm not one of the people who believes it's that simple. And there's a whole lot of people out there buying edibles. They sell them at the the flea market pretty much, not the flea market, but you know what I mean, the big farmers market, you can go in and you can buy a little bottle of edibles and you can be stoned out of your gourd with a couple of chewy candy like objects. It's crazy to me. I know that's probably an unpopular position. But if you have a disagreement, you're welcome to have that discussion 855-839-1210 is the number 855-839-1210. What else are we waiting to hear about today? Kamala Harris went after Donald Trump and CBS News supported her. We talked about Kamala Harris posting the statement, the former president, disrespected sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt. And then she went on to say this is nothing new from Donald Trump. CBS News is promoting it. Even though all the families as we mentioned are saying, hold on a second here, we invited him, all those families. We invited each and every one of them. California has announced they're going to be on deep fakes. How are they going to do that, Phil? You've seen deep fakes. We talked about deep fakes that look and sound like a person. I've created statements that sound like they're from Dawn and Greg and Nick and they sound exactly like them. How are they going to prevent this? I have no idea. It just makes no sense to me. You can outlaw something unless you have the ability to stop it. I don't know how you do it. It makes no darn sense. No darn sense at all. The other story I want to get to and maybe we'll take a break and come back to it. I'm waiting on my friend Luan. Luan is the head of marketing at a company called Burna and they make a less lethal alternative to a firearm. I'm a big supporter of the Second Amendment, but if you can be smarter and safer and bring safety and security to more people, I think it's a good thing. So if you're so inclined and interested just around the corner, we're going to talk about that with my friend Luan fam. It's Michael Pelke in for Kale Kale and Company on Talk Radio 1210 WPhD. It's Kale and Company on demand from Talk Radio 1210 WPhD and the free Odyssey app. And any of you who are working today, thank you. Thank you for being out there. We're going to thank ourselves, pat ourselves on the back, as Phil and I are working. And you know what else is working? See, Ollie's working. I just caught a glimpse of him on Fox TV and I grabbed a little screen cap of Zioli there and isn't me, Phil? He looks like a grown-up. Is that a fair assessment? Yeah, sort of. No, that's a warm round of indifference. No, I think it looks good. He says suit and tie. It looked very good. I'll post it on Twitter X so you can see it, people. I will put a copy of the photo of Zioli on Fox just. He was on with Kevin Cork just a little bit ago. It's pretty cool. Pretty cool to see everybody's speechifying. I've talked earlier about my appreciation of the First Amendment is undeniable. My license plate says after one, it's attributed to my late dad who fought for the First Amendment his entire life and instilled that in his kids and I'm also a fan of the Second Amendment. And as such, I'm always looking for ways to be smart about protecting myself. And about six months ago, I picked something up called a burner and it looks like a firearm. It's not. It's less lethal. And I liked it so much. I wanted to learn about it. And in my conversation with the people behind this, I've also been noticing that Judge Janine Pirro talks about it all the time on the five because she's a firearms person too, but she's got one too. It's tough to be a person who likes to protect themselves and to be able to drive around places like New Jersey and Maryland and New York City can't. So I reached out to these guys and I was talking with a guy named Lou Pham who's the head of marketing at the company. And he's also a Second Amendment guy. And joining us today, Lou, thanks for being here. I'm correct, right? You are a Second Amendment guy. Great to be here and you're absolutely right. I am concealed carry. We many of us at Burna support the Second Amendment. We're also avid firearms practitioners. And a lot of us came to firearms for the sole purpose of personal defense. Well, yeah, it's one of those things that all of us think about in the crazy times in which we live. Over 30 years ago, I had a car taken from me at gunpoint. I was carjacked at gunpoint. I wasn't a fan of the Second Amendment until the day after that happened, then I became a gigantic fan. And I have been a flag waiver on this for years and years and years. But as I mentioned, a lot of times you can't have a firearm with you because of local laws or just the situation. Maybe your family doesn't want you to have a firearm in the home, a traditional firearm in the state of Delaware where I live. You can't have a stun gun, even though I think that makes better sense than saying, okay, you can't have a stun gun, but you can't have a firearm. I'm confused about that logic. But the burner that I have, and you've got the stats on it, pretty much legal everywhere in this country, right? It's there are only a couple of places I can't have this with me. Yeah, that's correct. The burner launcher or family of launchers is legal in all 50 states. They are deemed by the ATF as a pneumatic launcher. And we affectionately call it the "ungun." There's three cities that prohibit the use of the carry of the burner, which is one of New York City, San Francisco and Portland. And I believe Seattle as well. But other than that, everybody everywhere else, you're free to carry our products. Yeah, it's amazing. So that makes sense, San Francisco, Portland, New York City, where they're very, very strict. Strictest gun laws in the country. And we're not even going to talk about what happened to the San Francisco 49ers first round draft pick this weekend. Wow, what a terrible story. That's unfortunate. But the the apt key aspect of our product is it's very accessible. What I mean by accessible is there are no background checks required, no permits required to carry it. We can ship unlike firearms directly to your door. And we've sold over 500,000 units, not only to government agencies. We've trained the DEA, ATF, Department of Homeland Security, hundreds and hundreds of police departments and private security firms. But the majority of our customers are private citizens. That makes sense to me. So you're saying that there are law enforcement agencies around the country that are using burners and burn a type as a less less lethal option. And I guess many times the first option. Yeah, so as you know, the electric stun guns have been very popular in the path of the law enforcement. But what makes the burn a launcher so advantageous over those stun guns is the fact that we have triple the effective range. So the burn a launcher is an effective range of 60 feet. It's powers off of CO2. And we have this proprietary technology called pool pierce where you insert the CO2, you insert the ammunition, the projectile, 68 caliber. And once it's loaded, it can be stored indefinitely until you have to use it, you pull the trigger, it punctures the CO2 and sends the first round at 285 feet per second in layman's terms, almost 200 miles an hour. For one stun gun, if you will, you can outfit five officers adequately with burn off. There's no need to recharge it. There's no expensive reloading of the ammo. One canister can shoot 18 rounds. And so we believe, sorry, go ahead. I said, wow, I didn't realize because I've used mine in the backyard practicing, but I didn't keep track of how many rounds I had to fire before I had to change the canister. So it's very effective for training, obviously, for using self-defense. But we believe that distance equals safety. So we can back that officer from 20 feet to 60 feet. He's going to have more distance to operate. He's going to be able to discharge his burn a launcher. And in behalf of transition to a higher power, but with his firearm, then he actually follows the whole continual force paradigm that is required by law where verbal commands drop the weapon, and then he deploys less lethal and it has to elevate to lethal. He has gone through the right process to handle the situation. And many times that is applicable to consumers as well, private citizens as well. So if you pick up your firearm first and you start sending rounds, not only are you responsible for each round that you fire, but that round is going to find something or someone. If it's find something, you're liable. If it's find someone that's not your attacker, some poor guy just walking by, you are going to jail. Oh, yeah. That is one of the most important statements that anyone can hear when they're considering buying a firearm, just that when you pull that trigger, you're responsible for what happens. And as a gun owner, I'm very keen on training and education for everybody, whether you're using a less lethal option like a burnout launcher or whether you're using the traditional firearm. I'm very excited to hear that law enforcement is using this. And as much fun as it is to watch the videos of law enforcement deploying a taser and taking somebody down and hearing that zapper, that 20 foot to 60 foot distance that is is able to keep an officer safer is really important. And I wasn't aware that a taser could only go 20 feet. I didn't know how far they went. I do know how far the burner goes because I set up a net in my backyard with a target and I can fire and practice and that can go pick up all the little pellets and reuse them again, which is kind of cool. I like the fact that I don't have to constantly reload with fresh ammo. Yeah, what's great about our launchers is that the fact that there is no violent recall that is, you know, normally associated with the firearm, the pistol stays in your hands. And even if you miss, it's easy to re-acquire the target. And there's no loud registration like you would get with, you know, firing a gun. There's no ear protection needed with using a burner launcher. So it's very popular with folks, all agents, especially seniors that who are no longer able to handle a firearm. And you have mentioned something very important earlier is you can't bring the firearm across all 50 states that with a burner, you can. And so people like RVers that travel across the country or commercial truckers, they have the ability to feel confident. They have a self defense weapon that delivers formidable force that they can pretty much take everywhere. Yeah, and there are some interesting options when it comes to projectiles. There are the echokinetic projectiles, which actually are colored green, and they will break down and disappear into the environment. And then there are pepper projectiles, which when they hit, they kind of go, put a little nice cloud of pepper, adds a second dimension to what you're trying to do it if somebody's trying to attack you. It's a fascinating technology. I'm really happy with mine. This ain't a commercial. I just happen to be a consumer who wanted to know more. But I'm thrilled to hear that law enforcement is utilizing this. Where do we go? If we want to find out more, where do we go? Sure, visit burnup.com, byrna.com. But if I could take a moment to touch upon the chemical irritant ammo, we do have a variant that includes tear gas and pepper. And when these rounds hit, they on impact, they create a six foot dispersion cloud of the chemical irritants. The chemical irritants attack a human central nervous system. So regardless of your aggressors on drugs, their lungs will feel like they're collapsing. All areas of exposed skin will feel like I just poured a can of gasoline and threw a match at it. Eyes will not open, nose will run uncontrollably with heavy mucus. All these symptoms happen in unison for 30 to 40 minutes. That allows you to escape the situation because if they are feeling that type of pain, they're now concerned about their personal safety and not making their bad day, your bad day. And our kinetic rounds can break. The plastic rounds can break side autoglass from 30 feet away. It feels like you're getting shot. So it's that blood pain, infliction that the shooter hits that attacker. And then we like to say, if you're prepared to defend, most criminals are cowards. They pick the weakest in the crowd and they prey on those folks. But if you fight back, you have a chance of surviving. Luan, fam, thank you. Appreciate all your info. Thanks for being here, Luan. Thanks so much, Mike. We appreciate you doing what you do and keep up the great work. Thank you. We're trying. We're trying our darned us. It's Michael Pelke. It is 934. I just posted a picture of Zioli in a suit and tie on a Monday morning on Fox TV. You can check it out. And we still have, oh, I've got so much more to get to it. So Pelke in for Kalen company, a talk radio 1210 WPHD. This is the Kaling Company podcast from talk radio 1210 WPHD and on the free Odyssey app. I just posted a picture of Zioli looking all grown up and haired over on TV. It was very professional looking and great analysis on Fox. He did earlier. I'm sure it'll be online before long. We are counting down too. We're we're eight days counting today, eight days away from the debate between Donald John Trump and Kamala Harris. And I wonder if it's going to happen. Tammy Bruce who's been on with me, she was on with me last week, has been talking about how Kamala might, in her words, weasel out. And if not, she'll try and be a bully while saying nothing of consequence. I think she's right on that. Tammy Bruce is very good, very accurate on so many things. And she's a great follow on Twitter as well, Twitter X. Megan Kelly, who also is a great follower, a follow. I'm a fan of Megan Kelly. I know a lot of people are like, I don't like her so much. I think she's really smart. And she has a show coming out on her channel on Sirius XM later today, where she will have some folks who served with Tim Walz in the National Guard. Speaking out for the first time, Tim Walz, I believe is not suitable to be a heartbeat away from being the president or anywhere near the nuclear codes. But that's my opinion. But his his brothers in arms who served with him have some pretty interesting things to say about him. Here's a clip released ahead of the Megan Kelly show today. Why did you come forward? It is morally indefensible. He didn't care. It was all about him. He's a military impersonator. I don't understand how he could do it morally, or you got absolutely no integrity. The rumor came when I crossed the state that he had clicked and it was like, what the hell does that? Have you ever just unbelievable that a CSM abandoned his troops? You have 500 soldiers, basically. But beyond that, there's a thousand parents out there that expect that person to leave those people into combat. He's an habitual liar. He lies about everything. He lies about stuff that doesn't make sense. You're taking a piece of their thunder and you're trying to capture it and button it a bottle for yourself and use that for your own benefit. He basically said, I've got better things to do. No, don't pick somebody else to go on the mission. None of you sold out your garden that abandoned them. I mean, what are you going to do at the national level? Fear is a reaction. Bravery is a decision. And walls has made the wrong decision. He's not brave. I call him a coward because he is. Wow. Fear is a reaction. Bravery is a decision. Will this be the swift boat moment? Will it be the swift boat moment? I don't know. We will see. Do we still have Lou from Langhorn on the phone, Phil? Hey, let's check in with Lou. Hello, Lou. Welcome to the program. Happy Labor Day. Hey, happy Labor Day to you, Mike. I'd like to make two statements if I may. Sir, look, I've been concealed carry for years. I handled guns as a kid because all my relatives were Philly cops. So I've been around guns since I was about nine years old. And sometimes I do carry in Philadelphia. But I think the burner, I really wish they would do more education with police forces for the public because if you can handle it, even if you can handle a handgun, all right, because there's no recoil because it has the same potential. Even firing a gun that is a nine-millimeter or a 308 or something like that, you're looking at and you're a good shot. You're looking at about 50 feet, maybe a little more. All right, the burner gives you the same thing. It's less lethal per se. I think the browns and some people should carry should be pepper spray or mace because that's going to put somebody down. If there's a dog, you know, very few of that happens, but if there's dogs that are aggressive, you'll put a dog, you won't kill it, but you'll put it down real quick. So I think the burners are a wonderful thing. There needs to be more education out there. I don't have one, but I am getting one. I do have a lot of other handguns. So I think it's a wonderful thing for the public, okay? Yeah, yes. Good. All right, well, getting to walls, I do not honor this service. I did two long tours in Vietnam. All right, I did eight years in the reserves. All right, I did it, not just have somebody pat me on the tush. It's because I thought I should all my relatives came over from New York, went back as American soldiers. I did the same. The one thing I did walk away was from the Democratic Party in the 70s because I was so, you know, three of my buddies got killed over there and I blame Lyndon Johnson for it. Okay, but waltz, waltz, I'm sorry, he is a boldface liar. You know, you should be proud of your servers. You shouldn't embellish. You should be quiet about it. I did it. I'm happy I did it. And I will tell you one other thing. When President Trump becomes president again, and no matter what these people say, he is going to be president, if I got called the service again, I would go. I'm physically able to do it, you know, even at my age of 73. However, if I got called the service under a Democrat, I'd spend the rest of my life in jail. I simply would not do it. And that's what I got to say. Well, Lou, first of all, thank you for your service, especially two tours in Vietnam. I have one buddy who did five tours as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, and he is the toughest guy I know. So I know just more than one tour, you got to be made of something special. And for you to talk as you do about the service, it makes my heart swell because I'm so proud of our American patriots who serve this country. And I'm thanking you for your opinions on it because I'm in agreement with you on the difference between the Harris wall ticket and the Trump fans ticket. I think they are night and day. And I think everybody can see that. Thank you, Lou. Again, God bless you for your service, sir. We owe you a debt. Have a wonderful day. Thank you. Nice to hear those people out there 73 years old, and would go back if commander in chief Trump called him to serve. You know what? I need to call to serve. I need to fill all calm quests to be called to serve with a little musical knowledge. Hey, Labor Day, September 2nd. And yes, I am in the house. We celebrate the birthday of Steve Porcaro of Toto, who's 67. And heavily birthday, shout out to Fritz Bactire from Simply Read and Billy Preston. We also lost Conway Savage from Nick Cave of the Bad Seeds on this day in 2018. Singles to Koot all along the watchtower by Jimmy Hendricks in 1968. In your eyes by Peter Gabriel in '86 and the bitches backed by Elton John in 1974. Albums to Koot Bad Reputation by Thin Lidsie in '77 and the Sick, the Dying and the Dead by Megadeth in 2023. Also in '95, Michael Jackson has topped the singles chart. In '65, the doors recorded their first demos. In '64, the stones recorded Little Red Rooster. In '93, STP wins the best new artist at the MTV Music Awards. And in '94, Hootie the Blowfish makes their first appearance on the late show with David Letterman. But lastly, on this day in '95, the rock and roll Hall of Fame opens up in Cleveland, Ohio. For Kale Company, I fill up with. Wow, that's very good. That's so '95, the big event was the rock and roll Hall of Fame. I couldn't think of that. That is correct. It happened in 1995 on this day in '95. Now, true or false, Nancy Pelosi was the inspiration for the bitches back. If you want to go that route, sure. I'm just wondering, you know, maybe it's like when she was running again for office and Elton John goes, "I wrote this for you here, maybe." I mean, she admitted long enough, it wasn't '74. So you know, baby. It might have been. It's possible. I'm just speculating people. Don't be mad at me. Very good. Excellent stuff, Phil. I have breaking medical news. Those of you who come to the Saturday night adventure every week know that we like to talk about a variety of topics. I'm obsessed with the politics. Yes. But there is also more to life than politics. That's why we talked about the Second Amendment. That's why we talked about the strange sounds and the spaceship that no one can explain. The weird pinging on the spaceship. Although there was one listener who called, I forgot his name, who said you need to go back and listen to or watch the movie "Contact." And I found that scene from "Contact" where it does appear to have a similar sound. Here, listen to this. It's the same kind of rhythmic pulsation, Phil. Could it be that maybe this is the scene from "Contact" living out on the-- I mean, it's possible. Sure. It is. It's very possible. We'll keep an eye on that because nobody can explain it. And I'm just happy they're going to send that craft back without people on board because I would stay in space another four months as opposed to risking my life getting on the craft which now has a problem and a weird sound. Just saying. If your car makes a weird sound, what do you do? You immediately call your mechanic. You don't keep driving going. I'll just turn the radio up. No, that's the way to go. We also talk health and wellness and I'm going to have an update on this story on Saturday night. Harvard, a Harvard study, has showed that eating peaches twice a week can lower the risk of breast cancer by 40%. Think about that. Just eating peaches twice a week and now peaches are kind of at the end of their season but they're so delicious. And one of the quotes from Dr. Patrick Quillan who has the story in there saying if this was a drug, it would be headlines in USA Today and the drug company stock would have been doubled already. Maybe the answers are a little more natural. Maybe Kennedy saying he wants to make America healthy again is a really good thing. Do we have to get on here now, Phil? Is that the time? No, you got a couple minutes. Oh, I thought it was 53. No, 55. You got I wasn't paying attention. When you're telling me that's why I've been, you know, that's why you're in control of buttons. Yeah. All right. So we will find out the real story on not only that but the outbreak of polio that happened in the Gaza over the last week and that made the Israelis rush doses of the polio vaccine into the children. I always wonder how does polio suddenly reappear after it's been gone and gone and gone for a very long time. It doesn't make any sense to me. And we never got to the story of the beluga whale that was found dead in Norway. The body of a whale named, I can't even say it, Vladimir. Okay, Vladimir, that makes sense. Vladimir, the beluga whale was found dead in Norway. And they think this whale is a Russian spy. I think it's a Russian spy too. But I'm a better fan of the caviar. I just don't understand how they can have whales and we can't. Do we have spy whales? I think we do. I think we have spy whales and a couple other crazy stories. I'm looking at the polling. If you looked at the polling on August 29th, Trump was up 52.4% to Harris's 47.3%. And it's not just holding. It appears to be growing. If we look at the latest interactive polls, Donald Trump is now 52.4%. And Kamala appears to be on the dip going the wrong direction. This is a good sign. But we can't rest until the job is finished. We have to make sure the victory is too big to rig. And we have to make sure that you get as many people out there voting as possible. We will see. We will see. But we'll see on November 5th. And it's weird because it seems like it's so far away, but it's 62 days. Tomorrow is 62 days away. And the debate is the 10th. If it happens, I believe it's going to happen. Tammy Bruce is wondering whether she's going to weasel out. We will see the other day to watch. And I'm sure Kathy will talk about this down. We'll talk about this. The 18th of September is the sentencing date for Donald John Trump in New York. His lawyers are attempting to move that till after the election. They were dealt a little bit of a legal blow on Friday, but they're still fighting. That could be a game changer. And that's one to watch. Thanks for being here today. Thank you, Phil. Appreciate everybody who contributed and checked in till next time. It's up. Elka reminding you test doodle, my friends. Test doodle. If you want to see what's the only looks like since his vacation, some people speculated that he was getting plastic surgery or hair transplants. He doesn't need hair transplants. The guy's got such a great head of hair. I'm so jealous of his hair. I don't have the hair I used to have. Rich is going to be on Fox News around 915. So you keep the radio on, then you turn on Fox News, and when you see him pop up, it's okay to mute me for a little bit and put rich on. That's cool. I'm okay with that. He's my buddy. He's my pal. I don't know if he's going to talk about the space aliens aboard the Boeing Starliner and all the noise they're making, but it'll be good to see him because I haven't seen him in a while and he was on vacation last week. And by the way, Friday, Friday live remote from Zeoli's happy place. Of course, the Grand Hotel of Cape May, the oceanfront Grand Hotel of Cape May. Friday is the only show. Free to go, free to attend. You should go. And I think they opened the bar as soon as the show starts, not for Rich, but it should be a good time. But he'll be on Fox News in about 10 minutes. And he feels should we dip in and cover that? I don't know. I don't think so, but maybe. Okay, message receipt. We just had a show meeting right there. The situation room is actually going to host the president today. It's been 16 days since Joe Biden showed up for work. I know I know the White House travels with the president. He's been working from the beach, beaches in California at the home of his really wealthy friend. Yes, one of the Americans that we thought was still alive was until this weekend, Hirsch Goldberg Poland shot in the back of the head, assessment killed by Hamas terrorists. And there will be a situation room meeting today. And I can already tell you what they're going to say. We have to have a ceasefire and Israel must stand down. No, I'm sorry, Mr. President. Hamas is the one who started this 332 days ago, 332 days ago. You need to put pressure on Iran, you need to put pressure on Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and you do that by pressuring around. So what does Kamala Harris is running may think about this? What does Kamala Harris is running may think? Tim Walz, he was at the state fair, I think in Minnesota, walking around and has t-shirt and his baseball cap on looking like he's just a normal guy. And he told everybody he was Harvard teacher. He was not. That changed after an illegal alien murdered my son, running him over, then driving back and forth over Drew's body three times. The man who killed my son had been arrested previously, but Kamala Harris let him go. As San Francisco's DA, Kamala was soft on crime. As a senator, she supported releasing criminal aliens back into our neighborhoods. Kamala Harris is dangerous. Preserve America. Yeah, all of these packs are now putting out these testimonials from people. I think this is a change in the way the politics runs. And I think it's a good sign. It's a healthy sign. Because until this point, we were just getting partisan arguments. These are people who decided to switch and change and stand up and say, here's my story. We played it earlier. I don't think we have time to play it again today, but I will post a link to the two minute and 15 second video that has been put together by the Trump campaign talking about in their own words, the eight gold star families who are absolutely furious with the administration for going after Donald Trump and saying that he had no business at Arlington National. Speaking of Trump, Mr. Trump had a statement this weekend that's kind of got the left trying to figure it out. Mr. Trump posted a statement about his support for legalizing marijuana in Florida. This is on the heels of Donald Trump saying that he wants to support government payment for in vitro fertilization. The left really doesn't know how to handle this. Donald Trump said, as everyone knows, I was and will be the most respected law and order president in US history. We will take our streets back by being tough and smart, unviolent, and other types of crime in Florida, like so many other states have already given their approval. Personal amounts of marijuana will be legalized for adults with Amendment three. That's something they're voting on this week. They're also voting on a abortion ban at six weeks, which Trump doesn't support. He goes on to say whether people like it or not. This will happen through the approval of the voters. So we do not smell marijuana everywhere we go like we do in many Democrat-run cities. He's right. If you walked around some of the streets here in Philadelphia, occasionally you'll get a whiff. You might even get a contact eye. You walk around New York City, it's everywhere. Donald Trump doesn't like it. And he's trying to make sure that, listen, if it's going to be legalized, do it right. He goes on to say at the same time, someone should not be a criminal in Florida when this is legal in so many other states. And no one should grieve a loved one because they died from fentanyl-laced marijuana. We will make America safe again. Now, here's the weird part. I was expecting Mr. Trump to mention the tax revenues, which could be garnered by this because many times when a state chooses to go through the decriminalization and/or legalization of marijuana, they frequently mentioned how much money they're planning on bringing in taxes. That's not in this conversation where it's solely based on, I think, decent logic. I think it makes a very good point. But I'm not a big fan of the legalization of recreational marijuana. I'm a huge fan of medical marijuana, gigantic fan of medical marijuana. But until we understand how you measure whether or not someone's high, it's a danger to me. And there are people on the road driving 6,000-pound machines at high rates of speed. And if their reactions are altered because they're stoned, that becomes a very dangerous situation. And we can get a breath analyzer pretty much instantly to test whether someone's driving well intoxicated. They sell them at the flea market pretty much. Not the flea market, but you know what I mean. The big farmers market, you can go in and you can buy a little bottle of edibles and you can be stoned onto your gourd with a couple of chewy candy-like objects. It's crazy to me. I know that's probably an unpopular position. But if you have a disagreement, you're welcome to have the discussion 855-839-1210 is the number 855-839-1210. What else are we waiting to hear about today? Kamala Harris went after Donald Trump and CBS News supported her. We talked about Kamala Harris posting the statement, the former president, disrespected sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt. And then she went on to say, this is nothing new from Donald Trump. CBS News is promoting it. Even though all the families, as we mentioned, are saying, hold on a second here, we invited him, all those families. We invited each and every one of them. California has announced they're going to be on deep fakes. How are they going to do that, Phil? You've seen deep fakes. We talked about deep fakes that look and sound like a person. I've created statements that sound like they're from Don and Greg and Nick and they sound exactly like them. How are they going to prevent this? I have no idea. It just makes no sense to me. You can outlaw something unless you have the ability to stop it. I don't know how you do it. It makes no darn sense. No darn sense at all. The other story I want to get to and maybe we'll take a break, come back to it. I'm waiting on my friend, Luon. Luon is the head of marketing at a company called Burna. And they make a less lethal alternative to a firearm. I'm a big supporter of the Second Amendment. But if you can be smarter and safer and bring safety and security to more people, I think it's a good thing. So if you're so inclined and interested just around the corner, we're going to talk about that with my friend, Luon Fam. It's Michael Pelka in for Kale Kale and Company on talk radio 1210 WPhD. Any of you who are working today, thank you. Thank you for being out there. We're going to thank ourselves, pat ourselves on the back, as Phil and I are working. And you know what else is working? Zioli's working. I just caught a glimpse of him on Fox TV. And I grabbed a little screen cap of Zioli there. And isn't me, Phil, he looks like a grown-up. Is that a fair assessment? Yeah, sort of. No, that's a warm round of indifference. No, I think it looks good. He said suit and tie. It looked very good. I'll post it on Twitter X so you can see it, people. I will put a copy of the photo of Zioli on Fox. He was on with Kevin Cork just a little bit ago. It's pretty cool. Pretty cool to see everybody's speechifying. I've talked earlier about my appreciation of the First Amendment is undeniable. My license plate says after one, it's attributed to my late dad who fought for the First Amendment his entire life and instilled that in his kids. And I'm also a fan of the Second Amendment. And as such, I'm always looking for ways to be smart about protecting myself. And about six months ago, I picked something up called a burn-up. And it looks like a firearm. It's not. It's less lethal. And I liked it so much. I wanted to learn about it. And in my conversation with the people behind us, I've also been noticing that Judge Janine Pirro talks about it all the time on the five because she's a firearms person too, but she's got one too. It's tough to be a person who likes to protect themselves and to be able to drive around places like New Jersey and Maryland and New York City can't. So I reached out to these guys. I was talking with a guy named Lou Pham, who's the head of marketing at the company. And he's also a Second Amendment guy. And joining us today, Lou, thanks for being here. I'm correct, right? You are a Second Amendment guy. Great to be here. And you're absolutely right. I am concealed carry. We, many of us at burn-up, support the Second Amendment. We're also avid firearms practitioners. And a lot of us came to firearms for the sole purpose of personal defense. Well, yeah, it's one of those things that all of us think about in the crazy times in which we live. I over 30 years ago, I had a car taken from me at gunpoint. Maybe your family doesn't want you to have a firearm in the home, a traditional firearm. In the state of Delaware, where I live, you can't have a stun gun, even though I think that makes better sense than saying, okay, you can't have a stun gun, but you can't have a firearm. I'm confused about that logic. But the burner that I have, and you've got the stats on it, pretty much legal everywhere in this country, right? There are only a couple of places I can't have this with me. Yeah, that's correct. The burner launcher or family of launchers is legal in all 50 states. They are deemed by the ATF as a pneumatic launcher, and we affectionately call it the ungun. There's three cities that prohibit the use of the carry of the burner, which is one of New York City, San Francisco and Portland. And I believe Seattle as well. But other than that, everybody, everywhere else, you're free to carry our products. Yeah, it's amazing. So that makes sense, San Francisco, Portland, New York City, where they're very, very strict. Strictest gun laws in the country, and we're not even going to talk about what happened to the San Francisco 49ers first round draft pick this weekend. Wow, what a terrible story. That's unfortunate. But the app key aspect of our product is it's very accessible. What I mean by accessible is there are no background checks required, no permits required to carry it. We can ship unlike firearms directly to your door. And we've sold over 500,000 units, not only to government agencies, we've trained the DA, ATF, Department Homeland Security, hundreds and hundreds of police departments and private security firms. But the majority of our customers are private citizens. That makes sense to me. So you're saying that there are law enforcement agencies around the country that are using burners and burn a type as a less lethal option, and I guess many times the first option? Yeah, so as you know, the electric stun guns have been very popular in the past with the law enforcement. But what makes the burner launchers so advantageous over those stun guns is the fact that we have tripled the effective range. So the burner launchers, I'm an effective range of 60T. It powers off a CO2, and we have this proprietary technology called pool pierce, where you insert the CO2, you insert the ammunition, the projectile, 68 caliber. And once it's loaded, it can be stored indefinitely until you have to use it, you pull the trigger, it punctures the CO2 and sends the first round at 285 feet per second in layman's terms, almost 200 miles an hour. For one stun gun, if you will, you can outfit five officers adequately with burner. There's no need to recharge it. There's no expensive reloading of the ammo. One canister can shoot 18 rounds. And so we believe, I'm sorry, go ahead. I said, wow, I didn't realize because I've used mine in the backyard practicing, but I didn't keep track how many rounds I had to fire before I had to change the canister. So it's very effective for training, obviously, for using self-defense, but we believe that distance equals safety. So we can back that officer from 20 feet to 60 feet, he's going to have more distance to operate. He's going to be able to discharge his burner launcher, and in behalf of transition to a higher power, but with his firearm, then he actually follows the whole continual force paradigm that is required by law, where verbal commands drop the weapon, and then he deploys less lethal and it has to elevate to lethal. He has gone through the right process to handle the situation, and many times that is applicable to consumers as well, or private citizens as well. So if you pick up your firearm first, and you start sending rounds, not only are you responsible for each round that you fire, but that round is going to find something or someone. If it's find something, you're liable, it's find someone that's not your attacker, some poor guy just walking by, you are going to jail. Oh yeah, that is one of the most important statements anyone can hear when they're considering buying a firearm, just that when you pull that trigger, you're responsible for what happens. And as a gun owner, I'm very keen on training and education for everybody, whether you're using a less lethal option, like a burner launcher, or whether you're using the traditional firearm. I'm very excited to hear that law enforcement is using this. And as much fun as it is to watch the videos of law enforcement deploying a taser and taking somebody down and hearing that zapper, that 20 foot to 60 foot distance that is able to keep an officer safer is really important. And I wasn't aware that a taser could only go 20 feet. I didn't know how far they went. I do know how far the burner goes because I set up a net in my backyard with a target. And I can fire and practice and that can go pick up all the little pellets and reuse them again, which is kind of cool. I like the fact that I don't have to constantly reload with fresh ammo. Yeah, what's great about our our our our launches is that the fact that there is no violent recall that is, you know, normally associated with a firearm, the pistol stays in your hands. And even if you miss, it's easy to re-acquire the target. And there's no loud registration like you would get with, you know, firing a gun. There's no real protection needed with using a burner launcher. So it's very popular with folks, all agents, especially seniors that who are no longer able to handle a firearm. And you have mentioned something very important earlier is you can't you can't bring the firearm across all 50 states that with a burner, you can. And so people like RVers that travel across the country or commercial truckers, they have the ability to feel confident. They have a self-defense weapon that delivers formidable force that they can pretty much take everywhere. I just happen to be a consumer who wanted to know more, but I'm thrilled to hear that law enforcement is utilizing this. Where do we go if we want to find out more? Where do we go? Sure, visit burnup.com, B-Y-R-N-A.com. But if I can take a moment to touch upon the chemical irritant ammo, we do have a variant with that includes tear gas and pepper. And when these rounds hit on impact, they create a six foot dispersion cloud of the chemical irritants. That allows you to escape the situation because if they are feeling that type of pain, they're now concerned about their personal safety and not making their bad day your bad day. And our kinetic rounds can break. The plastic rounds can break side autoglass from 30 feet away. It feels like you're getting shot so it's that blood pain and infliction that the shooter hits that attacker. And then, you know, we like to say if you're prepared to defend, you know, most criminals are cowards. They pick the weakest in the crowd and they prey on those folks. But if you fight back, you have a chance of surviving. Luan, fam, thank you. Appreciate all your info. Thanks for being here. Luan. This is the Kalen company podcast from talk radio 1210 WPhD and on the free Odyssey app. Tammy Bruce who's been on with me, she was on with me last week, has been talking about how Kamala might in her words, weasel out. And if not, she'll try and be a bully while saying nothing of consequence. I think she's right on that. Tammy Bruce is very good, very accurate on so many things. And she's a great follow on Twitter as well, Twitter X. Megan Kelly, who also is a great follower, a follower. I'm a fan of Megan Kelly. I know a lot of people are like, I don't like her so much. I think she's really smart. And she has a show coming out on her channel on Sirius XM later today, where she will have some folks who served with Tim Walls in the National Guard, speaking out for the first time. Tim Walls, I believe, is not suitable to be a heartbeat away from being the president or anywhere near the nuclear codes. But that's my opinion. But his, his brothers in arms who served with him have some pretty interesting things to say about him. Here's a clip released ahead of the Megan Kelly show today. Why did you come forward? It is morally indefensible. He didn't care. It was all about him. He's a military impersonator. I don't understand how he could do it morally. Or, you know, you've got to have no integrity. The rumor went across the state that he had clicked and it was like, what the hell does that? Have you ever just unbelievable that a CSM abandoned his troops? The 500 soldiers basically. But beyond that, there's a thousand parents out there that expect that person to lead those people into combat. He's an habitual liar. He lies about everything. He lies about stuff that doesn't make sense. You're taking a piece of their thunder and you're trying to capture it and put it in a bottle for yourself and use that for your own benefit. He basically said, I've got better things to do. No, let's go pick somebody else to go on the mission. If you're sold out of your garden and abandoned them, I mean, what are you going to do at the national level? Fear is a reaction. Bravery is a decision. And Walls has made the wrong decision. He's not brave. I call him a coward because he is. Wow. Fear is a reaction. Bravery is a decision. Will this be the swift boat moment? Will it be the swift boat moment? I don't know. We will see. Do we still have Lou from Langhorn on the phone, Phil? Hey, let's check in with Lou. Hello, Lou, welcome to the program. Happy Labor Day. Hey, happy Labor Day to you, Mike. I'd like to make two statements if I may. Look, I've been concealed carry for years. I've handled guns as a kid because all my relatives were Philly cops. So I've been around guns since I was about nine years old. And sometimes I do carry in Philadelphia. But I think the burner, I really wish they would do more education with police forces for the public because if you can handle it, even if you can handle a handgun, all right, because there's no recoil because it has the same potential, you know, even firing a gun that is nine millimeter or three oh eight or something like that, you're looking at and you're a good shot. You're looking at about 50 feet, maybe a little more. All right, the burner gives you the same thing. It's less lethal per se. I think the browns and people should carry, it should be pepper spray or mace because that's going to put somebody down. If the if there's a dog, you know, very few of that happens, but if there's dogs that are aggressive, you'll put a dog, you won't kill it, but you'll put it down real quick. So I think the burners are a wonderful thing. There needs to be more education out there. I don't have one, but I am getting one. I do have a lot of other handguns. So I think it's a wonderful thing for the public. Okay. Yeah, yes. Good. All right, well, getting to walls, I do not honor this service. I did two long tours in Vietnam. All right, I did eight years in the reserves. All right, I did it not just have somebody pat me on the tush. It's because I thought I should all my my relatives came over from York, went back as American soldiers. I did the same. The one thing I didn't walk away was from the Democratic Party in the 70s, because I was so, you know, three of my buddies got killed over there and I blame Lyndon Johnson for it. Okay, but waltz, I'm sorry. He is a boldface liar. You know, you should be proud of your servers. You shouldn't embellish. You should be quiet about it. I did it. I'm happy I did it. And I will tell you one other thing. When president Trump becomes president again, and no matter what these people say, he is going to be president. If I got called to service again, I would go. I'm physically able to do it, you know, even at my age of 73. However, if I got called to service under a Democrat, I'd spend the rest of my life in jail. Thank you. Nice to hear those people out there, 73 years old. And would go back if Commander in Chief Trump called him to serve. You know what? I need to call to serve. I need to fill all on quest to be called to serve with a little musical knowledge. Hey, Labor Day, September 2nd. Yes, I am in the house. We celebrate the birthday to Steve Porcaro of Toto, who's 67. And heavily birthday, shout out to Fritz McIntyre from Simply Red and Billy Preston. We also lost Conway Savage from Nick Cave of the Bad Seeds on this day in 2018. Singles a Koot All Along the Watchtower by Jimmy Hendrix in 1968. In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel in '86. And The Bitch Is Back by Elton John in 1974. Albums The Koot Bad Reputation by Finn Lidsy in '77. And The Sick, The Dying, and The Dead by Megadeth in 2023. Also, in '95 Michael Jackson has topped the singles chart. In '65, The Doors recorded their first demos. In '64, The Stones recorded Little Red Rooster. In '93, STP wins the best new artist at the MTV Music Awards. And in '94, Who Do The Blowfish makes their first appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. That is correct to happen in 1995, on this day in '95. Now, true or false, Nancy Pelosi was the inspiration for The Bitch Is Back. Elton John, if you want to go that route, sure. I'm just wondering, you know, maybe it's like when she was running again for office, and Elton John goes, "I wrote this for you here." I mean, she's been long enough. It wasn't '74, so you know, baby. It might have been. It's possible. I'm just speculating people. Don't be mad at me. Very good. Excellent stuff, Phil. I have a breaking medical news. Although there was one listener who called, I forgot his name, who said, "You need to go back and listen to or watch the movie Contact." And I found that scene from Contact, where it does appear to have a similar sound. Here, listen to this. It's the same kind of rhythmic pulsation, Phil. Could it be that maybe this is the scene from Contact living out on the body? I mean, it's possible. Sure. It is. It's very possible. We'll keep an eye on that because nobody can explain it. And I'm just happy they're going to send that craft back without people on board because I would stay in space another four months as opposed to risking my life getting on the craft, which now has a problem and a weird sound. Just saying. If your car makes a weird sound, what do you do? You immediately call your mechanic. You don't keep driving going. I'll just turn the radio up. Now, that's the way to go. We also talk health and wellness, and I'm going to have an update on this story on Saturday night. Harvard, a Harvard study, has showed that eating peaches twice a week can lower the risk of breast cancer by 40%. Think about that. Just eating peaches twice a week. And now, peaches are kind of at the end of their season, but they're so delicious. And one of the quotes from Dr. Patrick Quillan, who has the story in there saying, if this was a drug, it would be headlines in USA Today. And the drug company stock would have been doubled already. Maybe the answers are a little more natural. Maybe Kennedy saying he wants to make America healthy again is a really good thing. Do we have to get on here now, Phil? Is that the time? No, you got a couple minutes. Oh, I thought it was 53. No, 55 you got. I wasn't paying attention when you're telling me. That's why you're in control of the buttons. Yeah. All right. So we will find out the real story on not only that, but the outbreak of polio that happened in the Gaza over the last week, and that made the Israelis rush doses of the polio vaccine into the children. I always wonder, how does polio suddenly reappear after it's been gone and gone and gone for a very long time? Appreciate everybody who contributed and checked in. Till next time. It's a palka reminding you Testudo, my friends Testudo start your day with killing company weekday morning, six till 10 on talk radio, 1210, WPHT and the free odyssey app. I just posted a picture of Zioli looking all grown up and haired over on TV is very professional looking and great analysis on Foxy did earlier.
