Would you look around for your underwear? If I had a guess right there. If I had a death wish and a death sentence, I would Sean Ferris. Let me ask you this. But I think I might have a different opinion when it comes to other allegations of election interference when it pertains to Michigan in Wisconsin. We'll get to that big story as well. Also, Kamala has committed the queen will sit down and do an interview on CNN. We will hash that out and delve into that in the big take and the fallout after that as well. Also debate rules are set. Trump did not cave. We will hit on that as well. So we've got a lot to get to. And it's a good day to be here because there's a lot to digest and break down and make sense of before Labor Day weekend. Shots rang out in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood happened last night near the about nine nine fifteenish last night in the 3200 block of G Street. Police say that the video because they do have everything's captured now on surveillance images at least two gunmen. They drive up. They get out of their vehicle. They fire at least 25 shots at three men in their 20s as well as a woman in her 40s were all shot. It appears that the one man in his 20s was the one intended target. So in other words, he the others who happened to be around him in that vicinity were caught in that spray of bullets. But the intended target was shot was shot. He's in critical condition. So the others range the other the others are in serious but stable condition. But we have so we have four people shot. It appears one of the men one of the young men in his early 20s was actually the intended target right now. And then a blind nut squirrel finds a blind nut right? How many times in Philadelphia do you say the intended target was fine? But it was seven other people they got clipped. It's just unbelievable. What did you say the blind every now and then a squirrel for every now and then the squirrel finds a no blind squirrel finds a nut. I forget how the adage goes. I'll figure it out there in a break. Take it Philadelphia police also investigating a strange case of vehicle vandalism across center city suspect targeting cars at it seems like it's pretty random between 9th and 11th street happening yesterday causing a lot of damage and destruction. One of the cars did have a handicap tag hanging in the window. So he was just jumping on the hood of the vehicles then smashing his legs his feet through the windshield. So just random vandalism no apparent motive no robbery. Just just insanity. Yep. And then you heard the loud smashing of you know windshields and one of the victims ran out saw this. They were calling police they have not arrested that suspect yet. I don't have word of any kind of a cash reward on this one but they're asking if you know anything if you saw anything if you have any kind of a camera that caught something captured something that could help police as far as the guy's image two one five six eight six tips is that number you know as we think about gearing up for football season and high school football season and we talk about this a lot. The story of a 14 year old kid caught in the crossfire if you will Roxborough high school remember this is all the Nicholas another Nicholas Ellis Aldi. Yep. So we know that his mom had already filed suit against PIAA now she's expanding now with her attorney Tom Klein a federal lawsuit that just saying the school the athletic associations that they knew there had banned dozens of other similar type shootings in the vicinity of the school and he he had just walked off the scrim and ninth grade kid you know just walked off the scrimmage field obviously not not at all involved in this was one of those unintended targets right and mom says you guys knew I'm paraphrasing her her latest federal civil lawsuit where she says you knew that there were problems right in the vicinity you knew about these gangs you knew about this and you did nothing and if I recall reading the story correctly with some of the details in the specifics he was not only shot but he was shot while he was still in his uniform walking I mean they're probably carrying his helmet right yeah they they were coming off the field and just just a scrimmage not even a game just coming off the field and it was about three four in the afternoon right after school yep and you know here we are the first week of school and so it would be this time of year just walked off it was two years ago correct yeah it was yes August of 22 yeah yeah yeah it was just just devastating obviously we've shown headline it headlined the fact that special prosecutor Jack Smith has filed a new indictment against former president Donald J. finally emerging from the DNC fall out and the shadows as Kamala Harris and Tim walls will sit with CNN for the exclusive first joint interview since their campaign began that will be coming up on Thursday of course we will be off until next Tuesday the interview will be conducted by CNN's chief political correspondent and anchor Dan a bash and it will air tomorrow night at 9 p.m. Eastern on Thursday so let let's get this straight Kamala Harris is going to have her vice president at her side she can't do it alone Tim walls the only walls that she supports is what her emotional support animal I mean seriously what is this we were asking for a one on one wrestling match right and instead we got a tag team match nobody signed up for that and oh by the way it'll be on the lowest rated network CNN Dan a bash will be the host and I know she's CNN's chief political correspondent but she's low energy milk toast and from my recollection she only seems a really push Republican men Kamala Harris couldn't do it with Kristen Welker of NBC by no means a hardball interview but I think Welker would push back a little more than Dan a bash or what about Caitlin Collins on CNN last time I checked wasn't Caitlin Collins the host of the source at 9 p.m. Eastern on CNN and if she's anything the way she is with Trump when she's a moderator with an earpiece live fact checking on the air as the thing goes along it would still be a tougher interview than Dan a bash it's laughable and it's predictable we will hear and see the same lame stream media in their in-house fights coming up in just a moment here which I think was one of the things that led to the announcement yesterday and we'll get to that shortly but first a few updates to the stories we covered yesterday including the debate on September 10th as well as the copycat commie striking again with her latest flip flop that being the border which we discussed late in the show yesterday but yesterday I think was another win for Donald J Trump as Kamala Harris and Trump have agreed to set in stone the debate rules for September 10th on ABC I said yesterday on the show do not give into her no way do you allow her to sit there and sitting is a key phrase here because no you got to stand up Kamala right you stand for the anthem you stand when there's a sermon in church you stand for a debate okay but no no cards and it looks like Trump prevailed 45 posting the following on truth social yesterday as he says quote I have reached an agreement with the radical left Democrats for a debate with comrade Kamala Harris it'll be broadcast live on ABC fake news Tuesday September 10th in Philadelphia Pennsylvania the rules will be the same as the last CNN debate the debate will be stand up only and candidates cannot bring notes or cheat sheets we have also been given assurance by ABC that this will be a fair and equitable debate and that neither side will be given questions in advance that is Donald Trump on truth social so here we go that solves that right locked in just 13 days from now Trump I think will beat Kamala like a drum on the debate stage but Harris's bad fortunes have taken another turn for the worse as she continues to be exposed from a policy perspective we talked yesterday about the Axios story on Harris's flip-flopping and now wanting to fund the wall at the southern border and kudos to not only Sean Farish but also JD Vance for calling it weeks ago the possible veep tweeted the following and this is JD Vance on X quote Kamala Harris will soon propose that we finish the border wall and make America great again no one should be fooled by the fake campaign copying President Trump's vision the difference is Trump actually lowered prices as president Harris is in power right now and she does nothing and quote so what about Kamala and her past borders are comments well we have some of the receipts let's listen and watch this clip and folks on the subject of transnational gangs let's be perfectly clear the president's medieval vanity project is not going to stop them this issue is about a vanity project for this president right and it is a problem of his own making right and listen when I travel this country folks have plenty enough problems that they need their president to focus on instead of a wall that by the way because I was a prosecutor for many years including the attorney general California I specialize on transnational criminal organizations yeah that's that wall ain't gonna stop them no what a painful exercise to sit through that but funding Trump's unrealistic border wall would be a gross misuse of taxpayer money 2019 Kamala said quote Trump's border wall is stupid 2020 Kamala Harris said quote as I said Trump's border wall is a complete waste of taxpayer money and won't make us any safer in 2021 she becomes the borders are and lets millions of illegal aliens into our country same thing 2022 same thing 2023 but now in 2024 we're gonna build the wall and we want lots of money to do it and we're gonna finish the job but now let's get back to policy interviews with the media and lack of visibility how about this story yesterday under the radar but super critical according to sources quote there's an all hands on deck situation currently happening within the Harris campaign over how to do a single interview with the press the report indicates that there are concerns intentions over who should receive the interview we now know it's CNN and Danabash there's also been considerable debate in Harris's world about the purpose and the timing of the interview and the main narrative in the political press is that Harris needs to do a lengthy serious interview with a brand name news anchor that will push her on issues like I said I don't think the unabashed is really gonna push her and Timmy's there to jump in and save the day if Kamala goes off script oh by the way this will be taped probably edited it'll air Thursday night at nine o'clock and then probably recycled throughout the weekend but the legacy media has been dying for Harris to speak because they know they need the content and they also hate the fact that Trump is correct in calling her out for her liabilities as a speaker and also as a policy maker here's CNN going in on the Democratic nominee yesterday prior to the news coming down that CNN will have the first interview listen and watch this all off one third of this campaign and members of the news media have let her she's not she's not answering questions about we know her position she's against fracking she's against private health insurance she's against gasoline cars that's what she told us when she ran for president last time she doesn't want to talk about those positions that's why she's stolen and she should do an interview I'm just politically safe right and you have to know that it hasn't been that bad to everyone and she's gonna show up it is coming she'll open NPR somewhere like that but she's not gonna take tough questions on a network and she's going to have a sit down conversation she has already said her campaign has already said that that's going to happen if you're waiting for the it's a month it's a month she's actually on the ground she's doing bus tours across the state of Georgia she is talking to the last one another let's hear it oh boy you know leave it to another CNN female anchor to jump in and save the day for Kamala she's doing this that and the other thing that's not journalism right there folks that's advocacy and it's absolutely embarrassing it's not your job to defend Kamala Harris it's your job to point out the fact that we are almost six weeks in and she's finally giving her first interview six weeks speaking of CNN here is Caitlin Collins noted Trump hater live debate moderator fact checker of Republicans only and she said with Bill Maher on HBO that anybody who wants to have access to the nuclear codes should be willing to sit down and take some questions listen and watch this you think about the fact that Kamala doesn't talk to the press it in a way I feel like it's more insulting than how prep than what Trump does and Trump says you're the enemy of the people which is pretty bad but she's kind of saying is I don't need you I'm not I'm not talking to you you don't matter you're not relevant anymore to me that's even worse than I hate you it's like I don't think about you I don't know if it's worse than denigrating the press on a daily basis which is what Donald Trump did I mean I was I covered him in the White House every day as a correspondent and you know oftentimes to to kind of you know shake you if you were asking him a question he would try to get no personal argument with you or just deny or lie about you know what you were asking about and so I don't I don't know if I would compare the two I do think she should talk to the press I think anyone who wants to have access to the nuclear codes should be willing to sit down and take questions and I'd love to too but I'm not going to hold my breath well I think she'll do you before she does me but well she's not doing either of you she's doing Dana but trust Kamala with the nuclear button I wouldn't trust her with the staples easy button MSNBC has had enough of hideaway Harris as well and they are also not getting the first interview here's the far left network saying that the more she hides the more it feeds into Trump's assertions listen and watch this she's been riding with hi and she needs to continue to do that and use all the tools possible to continue this momentum that she has right now yeah I mean bezel obviously reporters are you know clamoring for that sit down but it's also been a line of attack from Trump today he sent out a campaign email underlining it's been 37 days since Biden exited the race and still no Harris interview to be clear she has taken questions from the press just not even lengthy televised sit down does this really you think that was will matter to anyone other than journalists yeah I do think it matters to to some voters but you know I think to Amy's point earlier Vice President Harris has to be very intentional about what she does do the biggest task at hand for her in these next 70 days maintain the momentum get voters to trust her so she's got to maintain that she's got to do this with a tremendous amount of intentionality but I also acknowledge that this line of attack from Donald Trump with respect to her not having thus far done this sit down debate is part of sort of this larger strategy of seating the ground with doubt if you think about the the press conference where he talked about the debate he also said that Vice President Kamala Harris didn't want to debate him and that she wasn't smart so all of this is sort of feeding into this larger line of attack where he would say and and Republicans would say that she's not good at this she's not smart enough that's why she's ducking the issues and ducking him that's clearly not the case but it is part of this larger strategy of his to see the ground with that kind of doubt and attack against her no that is clearly the case in Trump Republicans and everybody else calling her out are absolutely correct she's an installed candidate that has never earned a vote in her federal political life lastly political with the column the five warning signs for Harris after the DNC this coming out prior to CNN three of the five still very much valid they go on to talk about the five warning signs being tight polling in the battleground states still very valid no policy still very valid Trump's support from white men still very valid and the two others being no interviews to date will get that tomorrow on CNN and the debate around debates and we have found out yesterday that Kamala will not be allowed to have no cards but when political CNN and MSNBC are coming after you and detailing your flaws in front page material all across your television set on their websites you know you've reached the point where you can't hide anymore and after thirty eight days they know that she is indivensible and right now here's what we have we have one interview with her VEEP sitting next to her and we have one debate on her home turf and it's all by design and that's the big take the another busy Tuesday yes there are no more slow news hours let alone it's news day it's unbelievable isn't it um as far as Dana Bash you know just remember that her it's her ex husband who was one of those individuals who signed the letter former CIA former federal official who claimed that the Russia Russia collusion that whole thing that that we now know is a hoax but had said that the Hunter Biden laptop remember that that was her ex and remember that during the debates that in the initially she refused to call Trump unlike Jake Tapper her colleague she was she was saying former president Trump remember that the beginning and it was her to me it was clearly her defiance that she was not going to because in person to somebody if you're addressing that individual such as let's say she was interviewing uh secretary or secretary Clinton Hillary Clinton she would not say former secretary because when you're addressing the person in person it's proper protocol to say you know mr president or madam secretary as if they're still serving in that role president because you're you know you're greeting them in person right and so it was obviously defiant then she I don't know if Jake there there there was a conversation through the commercial break whatever happened and then by the end she did in fact pivot and say you know address him properly she got fact checked well I yeah and I don't know if it was that she intended to do it a couple times off the top or it just shows you could see the look on her face mm-hmm with the purse lips yeah well she always try lady look she always has that miserable scalding look yeah and so to to to that point I just think even a Caitlyn Collins you know she's Caitlyn is interesting because she she takes pride in her interviews and whether you like her or not I don't like that she has that style of bit of a constantly interrupting people yep but that's her style mm-hmm that is Kamala could not handle that nope at all nope and and so that that one is out as far as um as first Kristin Welker who worked here is it born and raised here and you're proud of Germantown friends here in Philadelphia I mean I just think that she I think that the Harris walls campaign shows the most friendly of course of of the group and and a woman I mean it would be one thing if you just chose Danabash and you are not next to your vice president I mean I would still have an issue with it because I think it's a softball but having Tim walls next to you I mean Sean Ferris this this I mean I was expecting this so it is predictable but it doesn't make it less embarrassing because it really is I mean you can't 38 39 days and you need your little number two next to you to hold your hand I mean are we serious here I could not believe when I read that it was going to be a joint interview but I mean like as you said we could believe it because this is who she is this woman is incompetent and it is it is clear and obvious that she needs either assistance or props or something when she takes questions from a reporter this isn't hard okay I mean you know if a reporter I've been asked question I've never run for president but I've been asked questions you know by reporters before and I've never had to say well let me go get my emotional support animal and come back and help me out you know and nobody holds my hands through interviews the only thing I've done you know if and if fake news NBC has ever interviewed me I've had somebody recording the interview from the side in case they took anything out of context we'd be able to back it up that's it you know and and and that's all I don't need to like we said yesterday shout over to the stage hand and ask for my lines I mean that's just not that's that's just not what what normal people have to do competent people we're confident people with what this tells me is you know she can come out and act all tough and put out this facade I'm a prosecutor and I do you know great that's fantastic did you need you know somebody holding your hand in court also I mean I want to know how this all went down you know when when she when her career was getting started and I think we know listen I think we know what went down okay but we don't need to talk about it we could talk about Montel we could talk about Willie I called him Bill we know exactly what happened but this just reeks reeks of incompetence and a lack of confidence and the fact that Kamala Harris you know seems to know that she herself is incompetent she's not confident in herself because she reminds me of you ever see her talking she kind of sways a little bit you know like Jack Sparrow you know it's like she's a functioning alcoholic yeah yeah that's what it is that's what she reminds me of except Jack Sparrow didn't need somebody to hold his hands through interviews either it's you know I don't like Johnny Depp but I think he nailed that role that's one of my favorite movie characters ever but the point is cool this reeks this reeks of you know it just more of the same coming from the Harris campaign you don't hide something you're proud of you don't duck reporters if you're comfortable speaking to them and then the first time you get an interview as you said Nick you get something on the lowest network a couple that lowest rated network a couple days before a holiday weekend with a friendly reporter who's going to do everything in her power to cover for you and make it look you know make it look rosy uh recorded so there could be edits in case she starts serving word salads and with your you know number two emotional support my little pony uh you know next to you during the interview you know and we use the we use the we use the pony term because I don't know what happened but something did something happened I was losing my mind when you said the emotional support walls was her emotional support yeah I was in you know laughing out loud first thing I follow line I mean it's so funny and go back to her days as a prosecutor let's take this into the legal room the legal courtroom and that arena and make an analogy that she would even understand this is the case of her life right as a prosecutor as the elected district attorney running for president now this would be like her being Marcia Clark in california oh by the way and having the oj case come across her desk and I don't know about Marcia Clark because she had christopher darden sit next to her but I would want to prosecute the big case all on my own I wouldn't want my ada next to me or my top three assistant district attorneys to steal any of my spotlight or hand me notes I would be prepped to the maximum to put on the performance of a lifetime to get a conviction and that's what Kamala Harris is attempting to do here she needs to put on the performance of a lifetime to get the conviction and the conviction is the vote and the vote is winning the election and she needs Tim walls next to her with danabash and oh by the way let's think about the timing of this as well so I mean stockers off all week right don and I are off after today we're not back until next Tuesday and what have we seen and what have I always had a gripe with about americans in the last handful of years we now stretch out our vacations longer and longer right we take thanksgiving earlier and earlier we take christmas earlier and earlier people are checking out probably today if they haven't already for the entire week for the and the unofficial end of summer holiday weekend so nobody's going to watch that tonight right if you're down at the shore on a Thursday night labor day weekend are you sitting in your hotel room watching uh... c_n_n_ on a clock yeah but I think you bring up a good point the fact that you know think about think about the fact that this all started in late june with joe biden having a horrible performance and and since the decision that kamala would you know be the one the chosen one and and you're looking at you know a month and a half basically with zero interviews i mean she's claiming that she was talking to streamers that's where most of the news blah blah blah but to your point nick if this is the of the interview of record then i would submit to you it's going to play the networks and and t_v_ everybody's going to play this interview whole weekend and and next week okay because people are just coming back and so i think that because unless she does another if this is horrible then she should do another interview maybe monday night into tuesday right to so they'll play the new one but i think that this interview then becomes the interview of record and dana bash knows that and so and so is an on-air talent does she then put dana before should before her personal politics and her biases that because this is a huge opportunity whereby she then gains credibility does she ask some tough questions and if she does and there's a flop then i think that plays for a week and certainly it plays on every you know uh... negative ad against harris walls and and shown you know this reminds me of you so you're gonna have kamala in one interview today uh shall probably either tape it today or tomorrow morning it'll air thursday night it'll be recirculated redistributed throughout the weekend saturday shows sunday shows clips on all the networks maybe c_n_n_ plops it again live on sunday morning when you know dana bash and jake tapper do that state of the union show maybe they re-aired again at some point on labor day into tuesday it'll obviously hit the news cycle on all the daily shows on tuesday post labor day but you get one interview and you get one debate right now and at this point in time i i really don't see another debate happening between trump and harris this is like the offensive coordinator i'm gonna give you your jets analogy here scripting the game plan for the quarterback to only have to throw the ball two times because you know the quarterback can't get the ball down the field so they're tailoring the playbook to minimize her ability to screw things up and cost them the game doesn't that feel like what's exactly go exactly what's going on here right now feels exactly like jets football too especially with uh... with with zak wilson it was like well we have to water it down and you know there's five plays and this is generally how it goes it's you know it's run run pass and then you punt and you come back you know hopefully not down another seven points right because the defense is shot cuz that's all we gotta do that's exactly what's going on they have they have trimmed the playbook i mean let's joe biden had a had a had a uh... a a more diverse and in-depth playbook than than comill harris he at least at interviews he didn't need notes on a debate stage right i mean this is it's embarrassing what is her excuse does she have dementia what's the deal i mean is she alcoholic is there a substance abuse thing that we don't know about i don't know i'm asking questions that's exactly what it looks like they're doing it looks like they're trying to let her play this game on easy mode and that's fine i understand you want to put your candidate in in their best position to succeed but if if their best position to succeed is hiding from the press and you're not qualified to be president that's what i think and and i think that's what we're seeing here i think they are again not confident in comila harris because they know she's not a competent person uh and she can't competently do this job without you know uh a large amounts of assistance and and and putting herself in a favorable position all the time and again it's okay to kind of position yourself you know so you're more likely to succeed but when you do this and you and you're you're basically showing the world your weakness now now you have a problem that you need somebody by your side for an interview it's kind of it's kind of ridiculous it is and let's also look at you know what they're going to actually ask her are they going to is danabash going to ask her about the border is danabash going to ask tim waltz because timmy's going to be there as the esa right timmy right um a lot of lies that have piled up since you entered the national spotlight do you care to address those obviously is she going to roll out policy what are your policies because if she gives us another uh joy tour for the interview like they did for four days of the dnc is danabash going to push back well kamala you're telling us joy and hope and change well what change are you referring to dear because you've been in office for three years and 10 months you could have had change you could have fixed the economy why why do we have to wait until january 21st of 2025 to start working on the economy you're in office right now i think as much as we're going to criticize and pick apart kamala this is a big spot for cnn because their ratings have gone in the tank their credibility is shot to hell and if danabash comes out and tosses up softballs and kamala puts up a tent spot in the first inning she's going to copies the don harris for trump and they take a picture of kamala and they photoshop the red maga hat on top of her you know that's really the amazing thing here um and i want to get both of you guys thoughts on this so she's trying to pretend she's not super super far left she's trying to pretend she's not a communist and so far to date when it comes to policies we have communist type ideas like putting price caps on groceries which have failed every civilization in the history of society and then when that gets blown to hell it's let's copy cat uh donald trump on the wall let's copy cat child tax credits uh taxation uh no tax on tips so i mean she really has an identity crisis here and i go back to what i said yesterday dawn she doesn't have conviction in anything she says she will go whichever way the win blows if that gives her a one percent chance more likely to pull out a victory in an election and if anybody buys this they're complete idiots so basically what she's trying to do right now she's running on the fact that she's the african-american female trump that's the only difference if she's going to copy the wall she's basically saying i'm trump except i have female body parts and uh i'm a different gender in a different race right yeah and these are all the headlines this morning and i think that's her her biggest problem because she has created because she's not doing regular interviews oh and so she is allowing others to define her and even even the media when you basically blockade the media then they're going to come after you and turn on you and so those are the headlines this morning even international headlines kamala harris you know called trump sporter wall medieval now she backs it so i think to me i think that first of all where is her written written out long-form policy right you know we know we know everybody knows the brand you know great stalker our brand manager our boss who has many titles talks about branding what is her brand what it what defines her and so that that's why this upcoming interview on thursday is a very big deal because i think dana bash will ask her what is your policy yep on the border on immigration on the economy on tipping you know etc etc taxes yeah social security medicare blah blah and so the fact that that she's really seeming to flip-flop but is she because at first we heard oh she she is doubling down and stealing trump's idea like to uh you know not taxing tips right but then we heard no she's backing away from that so which one is it in a way she might actually be the best running mate for donald trump if you just want the copy everything that he says and does shalen we got about 60 seconds here but who's to say that kamala couldn't flip now before the wall before this and before that and then all of a sudden god forbid she gets elected then she pivots right back to being a left winger well that's the problem right and the fact that you haven't you highlighted this in your big take you have mainstream media and left wing media publications like axios and politico kind of starting to use that word that phrase you don't want to be referred to as in politics called a flip flopper because it makes you look weak and it makes you look less believable if you're a flip flopper and you say you stand for x everybody knows because you're a flip flopper tomorrow you may stand for y and that's a huge problem because now nobody has confidence in what you actually stand for and the what i'll end with is rfk jr put it very very simply who needs a policy when you have trump to hate and that's what it's all about right it's her policy is i'm not trump and that's appealing to some i just don't know if it's appealing to enough people after enough time especially time in the media you're right they're hoping the hatred for trump supersedes the lack of continuity the lack of policy the lack of ability to do the job right that's the platform eight five five eight three nine twelve ten from platforms to ballots bobby has to stay i'm not trying to be contrarian when i give you my opinion on the other side but i'm probably gonna ruffle some feathers perhaps even
