Ordinance 540 looks to sell County Land for - a Solar Farm?

Members of your county commission are trying to hornswoggle you.  Hidden in this week’s agenda is Ordinance 540, that talks about distributing revenue from the sale of land but is actually where the commission is going to sell airport land for a solar farm.  Don’t be fooled.  They say the land sale is going to be open to all, but the only ones interested in these parcels is a company that wants to build a solar farm there.  There is a rush to get this done before the new commission takes over.   The golden parachute of exiting commissioners and former county employees are trying to cash in.  Don’t let them do it. The meeting is at 9am Wednesday in the Library Conference Room.
