G'day, for hands it's Blister Guy and for Tuesday the 24th of September it's episode three, one, no, one, three, six, three, ah, 1363, there we go, 1363, walk to work a mobile Hearthstone podcast, oh, you know what, this might be a bit of a sloppy opening and I'm just going to have to live with it, and we're going to be remembering our reveals, so last week I ranked the cards that we've revealed, right, from a sort of a power level perspective on how well they were received and played in-game, but today I kind of want to talk more about the actual reveal videos themselves. I guess given there's technically 11 of them so far, I can't really go into too much detail about each one, I just want to reminisce a little about, you know, what makes each one special and fun about them for me, and of course for Mongoose, because she's been in all of them, even good spin some of them, just dropped a daycare, it wasn't exactly the smoothest drop off today, it was difficult getting out the door to go, so we tried to rush it on the way here and she likes to pretend to be dinosaurs, so we were fleeing pterodactyls and velociraptors and stegosauruses and things like that, and that all went well until we got to daycare and this was very clingy and that made it tough, as is sometimes the way, unfortunately, with these things, oh, what I should do while I have my phone open, because I obviously need my phone open to remember my reveals, interestingly I watched some of them last night briefly because I know some of them are actually on YouTube, I never actually got around to uploading them to YouTube and I don't have copies of them, so I was trying to record them from my Twitter and it's not great quality, but it meant I was sort of half watching some of the videos that I haven't watched in a long time and I've forgotten things about them, it's pretty funny, but before we go any further we should thank a patreon, a patreon, patreon, today we're thanking just tell a friendly review, especially on the YouTube videos, it's probably very helpful, anyway, going back to my list here, the first reveal we had was in forged with the barons and it was for, no one can stop us, now thematically what we came up with is not terribly linked to the card itself, but around this time I think this was just prior to the birth of Gert and Mogust and I had been going to a local reserve at the top of a park and just, it's like a sort of a hill and a sort of a little foresty thing and we'd be walking up and down this path and, you know, convinced there's no snakes in the neighborhood and mostly they were probably just avoiding us, thank goodness, but we would spend a lot of time walking down this path going to and from the playground just because, you know, mum was suffering from morning sickness all the way through the pregnancy and, you know, we were having to give her that space, or we were trying to give her that space, anyway, so I was like okay we're gonna do a video, it would make sense, we can't do it in the house, that's not gonna work, let's go do it down this path and then I think the idea where I pretended to be Steve Owen and if you don't remember Steve Owen, he was the crocodile hunter, he's probably one of the most famous TV personalities out of Australia outside of crocodile Dundee and then maybe even more famous now, he would spend a lot of time with wild animals, which, you know, encouraging people to understand and love wild animals and unfortunately he got too close to a stingray at some point and did not survive, anyway I was doing a bit of a Steve Owen impersonation which is particularly funny because I'm not actually Australian, there are times when my wife threatens to leave me every time I do a fake Australian accent, so this is a bit of a miracle, I had made some great jokes in this one I think, like a mint condition half stone card and then dropping it was a near mint condition half stone card, I thought it was great, obviously that was very early on in figuring out what we can do with what we have, so printing out and making a cardboard version of the card seemed pretty advanced at the time and I think it certainly worked and of course it wasn't just that Mongres at the end was pretending to be the Merlox chasing me down the hill but also she has the great one liner at the start where I'm like we're here and the deep and the Australian out back and she's like look there it hits the Sydney Harbour Bridge because from that park you can see the Sydney Harbour Bridge, thus suggesting that we're not really in the out back at all and we're actually quite close to the centre of Sydney, pretty good little zinger there but overall a lot of fun and more fun to make than I realised and then afterwards I thought that was cool and so when we got to our next reveal which was United and Storm Wind and it was called at the grave I was like oh what can we do here, so called at the grave not a particularly inspiring card but hard to figure out what to do but it was grave, undid themed and so I was like well we'll put Mongres to work again, this time it's a zombie and she's just like rrrr and so I liked the joke at the start where I pretended to be answering the phone and say Dave, now I think you've got the wrong number mate, what do you mean correct, you know it's because I'm just hearing grave and so a bit of prop work there I had recorded, I'd made a sound of Mongres on the phone going call of the grave and I'm like Dave and I think you've got the wrong number and so to record that had that in a second phone play it back on the phone and so it was the right rhythm so that I could pretend like I was talking to and from this and so it sounded like it was coming out of the phone like a phone call while also filming it on the other phone, the lot of messing around to get there to work but I think it did work, it was quite fun and then overall of course a lot of her chasing me across the park pretending to be a zombie and then eating my head and overall the lighting was really nice that day, this is the park basically further down from their reserve so basically you walk downhill for about two minutes and that's where the second video is recorded and I do remember that Gert was born at this point because my wife was pushing Gert around in her pram following us kind of amused by what we were doing and also sort of quietly scolding me saying you've got to go do this quickly or she's going to run out of energy talking about Mongres because if she you know she gets a jack of it then she's just going to have a sulk and then we need anything done and then we only got half the footage then what do you do like this is what that's one of the things that's very precarious about doing these reveals is like if I plan to do something with the kids then and it falls apart now what like I've used up all my time doing something that didn't work then we're stuck and so that's kind of awkward especially given a lot of people expect a lot of things from us so there was a bit of can we get it done overall it came together quite nicely but like there is very much a stitch it together kind of thing in hope for the best with what we had which I think worked out quite nicely anyway next up was Alterac Valley and overall this is probably one of the least fancy videos we did but at least we did try something interesting here which is where I basically put the phone recording inside the freezer so that Mongres could open the freezer and then go you should see what's in here and then pull out the card but there's not a lot to it but it was I think we had not a lot of time to do this one even though the last two videos we had done sort of set the idea that we were going to do more work with them was good for us to get these things together we still didn't have a lot of time for it and you know sometimes that's there can be a bit of a translation thing where head office gets it out to the blizzard people in Australia and then they get it to us and of course you know time zones mean it can be days before it gets to us and suddenly we're running out of time so it felt like it was pretty low-fi as far as everything we could achieve with it the jokes were a few and far between I guess but like to me the joke of course was that I didn't get that why the arm was going because it's Mongres like because it's melting daddy and I was like oh and then at the end of it we're eating the ice cream because it's very hot weather this is a frosty expansion and of course it's in the middle of summer here and so we're eating the ice cream and like I still can't believe I didn't get the ice cream melting and then Mongres looks at the camera and goes I can believe it and so this is the first time we're like really allowing the sass in here which as all you parents know I'm sure is a common place when it comes to parenting kids at that age and so I think the sassy delivery of the line at the end just allowed people to go ah she's pretty good we like her which you know as I said is a bit of a problem because now we've dug ourselves a hole that we can't get out of anyway next up we had voice at the sunken city and again this was the least inspiring card to work with but we worked with the idea of well what's it spellcraft is it but it is kind of like the the minion that does things once you play a few spells in hand and so we just had Mongres following me on throwing a ball at me again not particularly inspiring video but like has more of her talking and doing lines which you know in retrospect when you look at this is pretty again lo-fi I guess like pretty it almost feels low effort but again I think we didn't have a lot of time but like it didn't it doesn't seem like a lot when you look at the others which is fine anyway after that we had a murder at Castle Nathria and this is where we really kind of pulled out the stops I thought it would be kind of fun to get a bit dressy up on this and I remember scrambling around some discount shops trying to find wigs and outfits for us to wear Mongres is a bit of a Sherlock Holmes or I guess Merlock Holmes sort of thing here we even had a little toy plastic frog she's holding what she was referring to as Watfins she had a magnifying glass just destroy magnifying glass that we had laying around and I had a wig and I was like help help I've been murdered it was very campy and I think fun even if the card itself is not terribly exciting but that one came together quite nicely and I was like well we really can do cool things with props and dressing up and stuff like that and so I did really really like this one I feel like this was a bit of a watershed moment following the sunken city and alter egg valley ones which is kind of I don't want to say a little bit because it was higher but it did feel like what can we cobble together in like four days kind of thing and this one I feel like I must have had more time I think maybe what happened was after alter egg valley I was like and sunken city I was like look I need more time if you want me to put together something cool and I want to be able to put together something cool and so this was I think maybe we'd been given more time and I made that work next up we had much the latest king and of course this is this is the sinking my own ship here where I'm like let mongoose do all of the lines while I'm pretending to be a zombie I was like this is cool because like in some ways like obviously I want my kid to have the limelight in the long run I want her to supersede me and be great at everything that doesn't mean that I wanted to take over the podcast or anything silly though but like I was trying to give her a platform I was like I will give her all the opportunities here to shine and she really did like a delivery of the lines it starts like so my dad usually does this but well you know that stuff like she just nailed that and just all the deliveries were perfect and somehow I set myself up fairly by going okay but now it's all about her instead of me which in retrospect may have been a mistake even though it was cool and there's lots of little out takes and things that would record it that never made it in there of me pretending to be a zombie and her like pretending to be the I guess the responsible adult and stuff it was it was a lot of fun and it was really cool and I didn't enjoy that anyway moving on from there we had festival legends which I guess is truly setting ourselves up to fail so ridiculous hat I believe chose these ones the riffs the warrior riffs again did enjoy how much they ended up seeing play after they were buffed but somehow I'd been playing my acoustic guitar a lot I think what if we did a song and then like yeah we did like wrote verses for it based on the cards which is difficult at the best time so it's not like it's perfect poetry here but like came up with the terrorists to go with it and stuff the only thing I regret about it is the fact that I didn't have mongoose clapping along at the start to establish the rhythm because with the opening riff it doesn't like where I hear the beat you don't hear the beat because you're not hearing the beat in your head the way I am so she was clapping along that might have made it a little better but like I don't think anyone notices it's only me who's like oh it doesn't sound right but overall it's pretty funny and like I sang which is just ridiculous I don't think I should I could I wasn't happy with how I sing because I never am and so I just at the last minute tried to do a terrible Glen Danzig impersonation which was better than I thought it would be but also very cringe to use the parlance of the youth of 10 years ago and I'm happy with how it turned out but I couldn't believe I had the courage to do that and then publish it like ordinarily I would do that and go well no one's ever hearing this but somehow I published it and everyone thought it was amazing and it was pretty funny and I like was happy with what we achieved even if it was a big leap of faith on my part then we had Titans which was fun that was when we're cracking lots of jokes again this one felt like it's a little more low effort I guess but it was all in the writing and then of course the delivery from mongoose I think she over acted this one a little bit actually but you know she was a 10 year old or a 9 year old or something at the time like you don't expect so much but overall it was quite good and as I said this is the one with the cards I think with the best. Wisping's workshop this is the one where no no Badlands is next Badlands and so I had a lot of fun with the idea of Badlands we went back to the reserve where we started of course I think mongoose over delivered with her performance in a great way the hat looked great on her the props were fantastic but the fun part was the extra props we did with the explosions and the tumbleweed and the desert vista at the start like at the last minute I was like what if we did this stuff and like it's gonna look cool and so we made these handmade props mongoose was like this is amazing it's great and we were like animate them together and make noises and we had to go off on like sound booth which means going to the car in the garage and record to see the sound effects and things were like this is cool and it really came together and I was like I really like the handmade DIY approach to this which is how moving on to Wisping I was suddenly making these handmade props on the cutting board and having them move around and animating them with sparkles and things which I really think was a hugely forward and what we're capable of doing what we can do the only problem with that of course means I need so much more advance warning on an expansion now to work with what have I set myself up for but it's fun but also I think that it's important that it's helping transition to the point where we don't have mongoose on camera as much I'm really happy for her to keep being involved her being voice over is perfect and her delivery is fantastic and it really adds to it like my wife was trying to be a bit critical when she said that she goes you're doing the Homer Simpson Lisa Simpson thing where you are the incompetent adult and she's the capable kid and I said yeah that's kind of what I'm doing but I don't think I'm going for the home like I think I'm more Phil Dunphy than I am Homer Simpson with this but also it's not because I'm trying to perpetuate a stereotype of useless dads over there's plenty of us out there obviously but I kind of just wanted to be the empowering the kid thing because I think it's fun and the opposite of that empowering me over her just seem selfish so I don't know anyway really enjoy that and I think that the animation approach the handmade animation stuff that we're doing will give us that future where we she's still involved and still doing a lot of the stuff but is less about her face on camera which you know as she gets older is going to be less and less okay as far as internet goes anyway look I've really enjoyed doing all of these reveals whether whether we were lacking time to put something together or whether I just did a whole bunch of late nights cutting and trimming things together there was always something about this up to just learning how to edit things on my phone like learning how to make subtitles that I was happy with a whole bunch of stuff there's like each step of the way there've been something that I've been learning about doing this and it's like just learning by doing and I feel like it's been really successful I've been really enjoying it and each time we're doing a reveal video and like I really enjoy this I wish we had an excuse to do this more but also to do it more would just be incredibly exhausting like I feel like I'm at the point now like we've had a mini set there must be an expansion coming I'm now getting into the mindset on okay so what I need I've bought some more black foam card and stuff that I'll use for making cards assuming we're doing a reveal of course like I'm getting ready to I've ordered a replacement phone holder thing for the tripod because I broke it last time like there's a lot of things like I'm excited to do it again I don't think I could be doing it all the time but I am excited to be pulling another one together let's hope I get one. Hagrid. Anyway I think it's time we're past the park to get in and play some hardstone because it's fun but yeah what I was gonna say is like I've played a heck of a lot of hardstone in the last two months and I'm at the point now I'm like have I played enough hardstone I feel like I've played enough hardstone and I think part of that is because my brain is shifting into get ready you maybe have another reveal coming up and I need to be ready to go and it needs to be ready to hit the ground running with whatever is handed to us to make a video out of. This is exciting and also nerve-wracking but every time it works it's fun. Anyway let's unmute the phone and let's play some hardstone. Top of the things we haven't played I can't remember it's not warrior but warrior is up there but people have been playing mech warrior recently not a lot obviously but so is it a testing dummy like there was some buffs to that in the last month or so and so people are trying it out and it has been kind of working I've played a few games with this it's open hardstone we've got the volume up I think so I do I've just made it silent to get there's the volume there we go yeah we should hear hardstone enough and so I felt like playing that on the podcast today because these warriors towards the top of listening as they haven't played and also warrior has the tendency of being like own warrior or I can tell you have some new stories tonight I mean I'm talking about old stories hard really but okay I guess maybe actually better things I haven't always thought about like own warrior or Reno warrior it may not necessarily be very interesting to play on the podcast but clearly testing dummy warrior is and if it's doing all right on a play I don't know how much it's doing all right but this version I took from Hs replay it's very similar to a version I had been playing but cut one card that I can't remember oh yeah cut the tortolo wanderer it had two tortolo wanderers the one five for three that taunt death rattle drawer taunt and reduce cost by two which is I think a pretty good card in the deck don't get me wrong but let's cut one of those for an instrument technique means I guess you're leaning more into the boom wrench and stuff cool I'm fine with that let's try that version out I think I've actually been climbing on the ladder I've been playing a lot of cliff dive show but also a lot of uh the greatest elasticity law mage big spell mage without the surflebods I've been trying that and that seems to have been working because where am I? yeah I'm at two four six six legend which is a lot higher than the four thousand I was ended last week so clearly been climbing not not not been trying to climb I mean I don't want to lose obviously but I've been trying to play without losing and it seems to have been working I guess anyway let's try this testing dummy's warrior and we see how we go it's the 24th of the month it's not like at the end of the month I'm pretty sure I have to keep playing a bunch on the ladder this week just to complete my uh weeklies so it's not like I can sit on a rating or something this one not that 2,400 is worth sitting on you know what I mean I don't think I'm going 11 times multiplier instead of this month I think what I'm going to do is just uh play myself into three thousand dish and that is what that is it's fine we can cross we can cross back fund has not gone away yet that's unusual unusual oh there we go to not be finding an opponent in standard so quickly interestingly the China server opens back up for Hearthstone after over a year and a half this week that's going to be pretty exciting anyway all right it's us versus a druid I mean we give a druid enough time and say it's a Reno druid they win I think so we want to be as quick as possible and uh beat them down with testing dummies now we have an opening hand with an instrument tech and a boom wrench we don't need both those things so I think we keep the instrument tech because then we just play it on turn two we also have a shell block I don't think we need that it's a totally fine topic later so let's just get rid of those two cards and keep the instrument tech because it'll draw us a boom wrench and then we'll hopefully uh you know draw into testing dummies and stuff like that to uh just start pressuring that druid love kick card number three who knows what that means we've got back a new heights and a town cry well we've got a curve town cryor in turn one instrument tech in turn two new heights in turn three and we've got a uh a neater octodum so let's play tank fire on turn one we could probably play the neater octodum on turn two instead of the instrument tech both will draw us a card and there's an odd obviously you want to draw the card that is uh more specified with the instrument tech first but just the fact that the neater octodum tends to be able to be uncontested by your opponent immediately like this is a druid I think it's just really good to get that down earlier all right so they're playing cactus construct and it's given them a wind-up sapling which is the two one tradable uh battle cryor fresh one mana crystal trade upgrade so that does technically threaten a neater octodum we can trade it down with that time cry which I think we should probably do because we can play a neater octod and then they'll have to play the cactus construct uh minion via what's this called again the wind-up sapling next to him just to contest the uh the neater octodum and then i can finish it off with the town cryor so i still think neater octodum pressures them in a way that forces them not to be able to do things like coin out new heights and stuff you know so neater octodum barely trades down the one month sapling plus turn we draw cut into him so interestingly in the last turn uh yes the last turn we drew with the town cryor we drew aziliacs deluxe 3000 because when you have got only one rush in your neck that's what happens and this turn so until we drew tortola and traveler so that's a nice three drop as well but the coiny out squish splash well this is great and also what we drew at the end turn off the neater octodum was a drushes gift so let's recap now we have three mana new heights is obviously a great thing to play on three mana uh but we do currently have a neater octodum to play and they have a three two so what we could play this to instead is tortola and traveler and then new heights next turn even though that wastes the mana like but i think at the very least protecting the neater octodum see what does it though i don't think we need to protect the red rock neater octodum given we have another one in hand and if we play new heights this turn next turn we have five mana which can be the second neater octodum and then the tortodum year i've made up my mind new heights now so we're ramping so we go face with our town cry i put it in 29 and the end turn we draw another card with our existing neater octodum so it's given us two cards already it's just good we drew sleep under the stars they can now value trade down our neater octodum with their split special what's that doing they've got four mana turns they're gonna play new heights as well but now we can play another neater octodum oh they're trading they'll wind up settling well that's good now you play at two mana it's gonna refresh two mana because we'll draw another town cry now i believe we only have one rush meeting the deck so this one's not going to do anything off the note so we're going to play the neater octodum tortodum traveler and face for no we're going to trade into the split special but let me explain why i'm going to pass the turn because if they have a swipe it kills the town cry for free and also allows them to bash through the tortodum pilgrim tortodum traveler sorry the tortodum traveler now that the split special drop is taking one extra damage from the uh town cry out we'll have to trade with the thing instead of not so they've just played their own photographer puzzle and then their own tortodum traveler now this tells us a couple of things they have split special help we should trade it into our traveler so it is now dead see trading into it was good they wanted to photograph the traveler so they have a copy in the deck or they got the order wrong i'm not sure but they have four cards in hand four of which some of which i'm guessing they thought was worth taking a photo of so i have a one five taunt and i have a one five taunt we've got a boom wrench which means we kind of need to get the instrument check out sometime soon uh we have a chemical spill in hand now chemical spill is good because we can just chemical spill into play the uh ziliax ziliax gets to attack into their thing the downside is that they may also just come back over top with us uh with a ziliax deluxe you know a virus perfect ziliax but i can't see anything else worth doing this thing so i think chemical spill is good chemical spill ziliax out now means they have to deal with it they can't re-know it so that we never get it back i think that works for us hello ziliax take some damage so you'd why and show it's gone now attack into the tortola and traveler so it's dead now we go face with our tortola and traveler and now we just play the town cry because we still have an either octodemon claim it's a very card now i'm going to pass the turn let's look at our hand now we still have an instrument tech and we have a boom wrench so we probably need to play the instrument tech soon otherwise it won't do anything at all we have a garrosh's gift in case they flood the board which i can't think now that we've seen photographers they might do they're playing pendant of earth i still haven't made up my mind whether this is uh flight master dungar druid or renal druid it could be either way pendant of earth doesn't tell us anything they were on they've healed catoo so it doesn't tell us much because they've healed to two to thirty uh we still have a sleep under the stars and hands there's a two amount of desert nature in that they're drew from the tortola thing it's refreshed some mana crystals our tortola thing is drawing us a two amount of testing dummy so this is nice so we can play boom wrench and immediately overwrite it with our one mana boom wrench mentor one and that'll trigger the uh testing dummy then attack with the one mana boom wrench it'll trigger the testing dummy again if that's something we want to do now they have seven mana i don't think they're going to renew us next turn because we do want the testing dummy to die we have aziliacs they have a three four taunt four five son of flash i've just played and i've still got a three two uh photographer fizzle the question is do we want to trigger the testing dummy this term we're just trying to converse cube and converse cube is pretty good here if we just eat our ziliacs i think i'd rather eat testing dummies but did you just look at a converse cube on ziliacs in the mouth i don't think so like because at this point if they renew that we've still got a bunch of dead ziliacs is going we're going to get another ziliacs in a turn that's five of our seven mana which leaves our last two mana to be the instrumenteck i think that's really enticing so first our existence ziliacs bumps the uh taunt out of the way now we kind of risk cubable hit it that eats it and then re-summons that it attacks into some flat tire with our instrument tech now we go face with that town cry put them back 29 we drew our second boom wrench and in the end of turn we draw a ham the hungry and the converse cubicle comes a fresh virus ziliacs so recap at hand we've got two boom wrenches a sleep under the stars i recommend decum a garish's gift a hand hungry uh recommend decum's got to be nice with our four mana testing dummy it was four mana because of the total traveling traveler but again this is the kind of pressure we want to be putting on our opponents all right so it is Reno Strewd because they've just played race draza their photography puzzle attacked into the ziliacs the original ziliacs kind of we still have a perfectly formed virus ziliacs here they're going to get another one next turn now we're going to get another one here turn if they have an innovative hand we know that Reno drew it now because of the uh the race draza if they have an innovate they can re-noise next turn and if they can re-noise the next turn we probably want to take the race draza off the board if they can't innovate us innovate we'll get an extra turn before we need to worry about taking the race draza off the board i think we are going to take the race draza off the board now because we're just about to do some recommend decum stuff oh wait what does recommend decum do it takes a random enemy so we want it to go face so we're going to play four mana testing dummy that's six millions we have now and now we play recommend decum on that so that comes some of the copies that attack their face they take four we take the two from our small minions four from our carnivorous cubicle so let's put them down to eleven we've got one mana left to enter turn our carnivorous cubicle summons another virus ziliax and also it has meteorite totem drew us another chemical spill so they have to innovate out Reno this turn to stand a chance because we have a carnivorous cubicle that's continuing to summon virus ziliax we've got a couple of one twos that are meaningless there's yogh that's the kind of thing they want we also have a testing dummy but they're on leaven which can't be good for them now the downside here is that we don't have any more testing dummies on hand we do have boom reaches okay so they've used yogh to steal my carnivorous cubicle then they did the spell that heals and summons three silver hen recruits uh from the yogh now they played a pro loss oh and they're conceding okay good i mean having a virus ziliax enter turn oh maybe they don't so they've got racetrizes egg they've got yogh and they've got cubicle that's three they're three one ones from the the paladin spell what is it like holiday time whatever it is from the mini set the one that summons three one ones uh and heals before and draws two cards that's what yogh played then they've played a time loss protodrake which is a four five taunt and that was the seventh minion in play and that's why they can see because they realize wait the cubicle is not going to summon me a virus ziliax anymore so all i have to do is attack through that time loss protodrake which is a four minus four five with taunt what it enters your hand you get an extra dragon but like whatever um so we just have to attack through that and then everything else goes face uh and we win and there's obviously a testing dummy there outside of the testing dummy we have two boom wrenches on hand which means we can play the first boom wrench for three mana that gives us a mini boom wrench we can say that play the second boom wrench for three mana giving us a second mini boom wrench that triggers the uh death rattle of the testing dummy now we have a second boom wrench in play but it's got two duper i'll wait we play a mini boom wrench overriding that second boom wrench that triggers the death rattle a second time and now we play the third sorry the fourth boom wrench the second mini boom wrench which overwrites the first boom wrench triggering the death rattle of the testing dummy again so that's three death rattle so far then we attack with the one durability miniature um boom wrench and that'll be four testing dummy triggers just this turn alone i don't think they knew that but actually they knew that there was half of that there because they knew that we had instrument text for uh boom wrench so they were getting roasted this turn regardless thank goodness they weren't able to bring out a uh watch them call it uh i can remember the name of it yogg innovate yogg excuse me i've got my breakfast repeating on me so we were fortunate there we like i say at the start if it's re-know we want to pressure them otherwise they get to yogg and we're in trouble they get to yogg we can still win i've played this deck a few times over the last week and you can beat the like even after they yogg the the only problem with yogg is if they yogg and they remove taunts from play that haven't already died because then when you play hydration station you don't get them back we were fortunate enough we got to chemical spill aziliacs into play early we were then fortunate aziliacs are still there the next turn so we got to coniferous cubicle it so that's a aziliacs that died so that's in the hydration station pool we then played a testing dummy now the testing dummy could be a sitting duck if they can tank long enough to get to re-know to remove it well they're fine but we didn't we had a recondecum which meant we got some of the testing dummy immediately and it wouldn't face and then it died it did a bunch of damage to them so now we have a dead testing dummy in the pool too so even if they re-know now we've gotten past the dangerous part of the re-know which is that re-know erasing minions so you can't bring them back from hydration station we've had a testing dummy die we've had aziliacs a virus ziliacs die so we're in pretty good shape as far as that goes now that still doesn't mean that you just beat uh re-know warlock uh druid sorry like they had racetrizers nest in play they were going to have a steady stream of dragons those dragons can often be things like fire the setting sun so that heals them and gives us a bunch to have to attack through they can just exhaust us with a lot of resources as long as they can deal with the two hydration stations being back testing dummies and and ziliacs's which thankfully we had set up so that we were still in good stead for that they hadn't been able to re-know us to really new to our capabilities but more importantly we just pressured them hard enough that they weren't able to re-know in time they had a yogg and that's pretty good i think yogg stealing the cubicle is a fine play because if they have their own virus ziliacs then it heals them a bunch kills a bunch of our stuff i don't know whether they slammed the time lost protogenic before they saw what yogg had cast because sometimes you know yogg used the ability to play something from hand passed to an let's hope and you've got it you kind of got it when you're using yogg's ability you got to wait and see what yogg plays before you commit anything else to the board and i think like they must have either miscounted their board slots when they played the timeless protodrick or they just slammed it too quickly and obviously it didn't turn up quickly for us because we had to watch the animations but maybe they slammed it before they realized that yogg had also given them three silver handed fruits so that they can never as cubicle they had stolen could not give them a virus ziliacs the other option of course was them to use yogg to force each of our minions to attack into each other the problem is is that if the cubicle doesn't die they're in a lot of trouble that tells me that they stole the cubicle because they don't have Reno in hand i think if you have Reno in hand you just make everything attack each other to be as safe as possible and then even if anything survives you get to Reno at next turn but it's also possible that they want to save Reno for hydration stations later either way we pressured them they didn't have what they needed to stop us and us pressuring them made all the difference and look neither octodum the first one died obviously i let it die so i could play new heights there's another train coming on we're going to go on this one but we had a second one and it was protected the whole time it just drew us a ton of cards and that was how we overwhelmed them
