I have my special guest, Danny here, who is one of our league members, to go over our post draft and our week one match up. So, Danny, how are you? Do you have anything to say to the other league members here and your thoughts? - No, absolutely not. - Great, fantastic. So, Danny, I'm just looking at the draft grades right now. I'll just go through them with you and-- - I don't care. - Great, fantastic. And we'll get your thoughts and reviews on the draft grades. Leading it off with an A-plus, we have no brains, all balls. Matt's team looks like he really hit a home run in this draft. - You gotta give it up to Matt. He had a really good night. - Yeah, he had two auto picks, but that did not stop him from getting an A-plus. Very surprising, but great draft grade there. Second off, with an A, we have Pull Me Back. That is Jacob's team and he thoughts on Jacob's team. - Draft grade says it all. - It's an A. - Great, fantastic. With an A-minus, we have Sam Hyde, Sam Hyde, which I believe we actually have the owner of that team with us, but no, he's not available for common at this time. Danny, any thoughts about Sam Hyde's team with an A-minus? - Yeah, I think you're a little confused. Sam Hyde is Jeff's team. - Oh, Sam Hyde is actually Jeff's team. Sorry, Nick, we do not have Jeff with us right now. That is my fault as a radio host. - Professional bullshit. That's why nobody listens to Frank's fantasy football podcast. - Very true statement. So we're gonna skip Sam Hyde's review because we don't know who the real owner is at this. - Boy, it's Jeff. - It's Jeff. With a B, we have hitdongs, not bombs. Any thoughts about this team? - It's, you know, the champ's the champ. - Great, fantastic. I don't believe that is the champ though. I believe that is Shane's team. - That's not fun. - Yeah, we are just-- - Shane is a champ. - He is a former champ from five years ago. - Never forget. - With a B as well, we have Mr. Rogers' neighborhood. You know, I will just start off by saying-- - It's doing football, baby. I mean, Mr. Playoffs, it's-- - I just do not like these players' spin-off names. I feel like they're really cheap. - I see. - We are not going to review this draft grade for that reason. Falling up. - Are we really reviewing any of them though? - No, we're not really doing that. We're just really reviewing the grades. - Running through them. - Running through them, yeah. So everyone knows the draft grades. 'Cause, you know, we have a member, the green man Dingo, not the best poker player, but he was curious about the draft grades. - Not a good poker player at all. - No, he talks a big game, but you know, he just-- - At the end of the day, he's a donation. - He's a donation. Just like this fantasy league. I don't believe he's ever made the playoffs quite yet, but, you know, he's knocking on the door, as they say. - Yeah, you never know. We have toilet truck with a C. Now, toilet truck is a team that I believe is near and dear to your heart. Any thoughts on your team? - Yeah, I, you know, I thought it was a pretty good draft. Got my guys early, you know, weighted on quarterback, as I tend to do, went with a couple of rookies in Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels. And, you know, it's a long season. We'll let these two battle it out at quarterback. And I believe that I have these skill positions covered. - Great, fantastic. Following up toilet truck, we have idiot sandwich with a C. Now, idiot sandwich is a very clever name because they actually added in the sandwich emoji to this team name. - That's good. - Very clever, I like it a lot. Great, so now we move on to Lika Midick. I believe that is Evan's name. I believe it came off the Google as well. - Sounds about right. - Do you have any thoughts on Evan's team? - No, we're just gonna move by. He's got a C minus, no real thoughts. You know, we moved down to I'm autism with a D plus. - Yeah, I think a D plus was a little too high for this team. - You know, it was a little too high. This is actually my team. - Sorry, I didn't realize that. - You know, not too bad. We really, really were reaching. We were hoping for a player in the first round and not fall down to us. So we went with Breeze Hall. I believe he is on a very explosive offense in New York, on the New York Jets. That remains to be seen, followed up with a lot of-- - Really jets are a real shit show. I just, I avoided them at all. - There are a complete dumpster fire at this point, but you're hoping that Breeze Hall can be the shining light of that offense. We will see how it turns out. Probably the pick of the draft, which is Zach's favorite pick, Dalton Kincaid. Fell to this team in the later rounds. Very productive last year at the draft. - Pick of the draft, that's bold. - Pick, according to Zach, very well could be the pick of the draft. So we are very happy about that with the I Am Autism team. Great pick. Then falling up, I Am Autism. We have the Green Man Dingo, which we're just speaking about. That is Zach's team. Not really liking his team. - Interesting. - Doesn't really have a whole lot going there. So we're gonna skip it to our current three time champion. - There he is. - 12 dudes, one butt. Now, he kind of diverted away from his original strategy of auto drafting the majority of his picks. This could be a reflection of diverting from that strategy, but 12 dudes, one butt with a D minus. - You know, who's to say what his strategy was? - He might not even know. - I don't think I was gonna really has a strategy. He goes into it, he grips it and rips it, but this time turns out with a D minus. The guy wins championships and results are all the matters at the end of the day. - He is our only three-peat champion. Quite remarkable. - Quite remarkable. To finish it up, we have a D minus with 30 Mike and the boys. Thoughts on dirty Mike and the boys. - Great guy. - Really good guy. - Really good guy. - Really good guy. He hasn't changed this name in quite a few years. He hasn't changed his profile pick and even longer, I would say. - I would say that he did change his name this year. Let's give him some credit. - Dirty Mike and the boys. - Comments? - Yeah. Dirty Mike and the boys is a new name this year. Last year it was Barry McConnor. - Barry McConnor, that is correct. Fantastic name, very underrated. Now that we've got the draft grades out of the way, I say we move on to our weekly match-ups. This is where we will finish off our podcast. I'll throw them out to you. You tell me, who's the winner? Who's the loser, okay? - Great. We have no brains, all balls versus dirty Mike and the boys. No brains, all balls is favored in this by 10 points. - I would imagine that we've got to go with the A+ draft grade taking down the worst draft grade. It's just analytics at the end of the day. - It's just math. - It's nothing personal because math. - Math? - Yes. In a fantasy football math. - And a 10 point favorite is, that's a heavy favorite. Let's be honest. - Great, fantastic. Next up, we have 12 dudes, one butt, verse idiot sandwich. Now this is a very close match-up. It is 106 to 102, favoring our current champion, 12 dudes, one butt. I was in it. - You know, I might go with the upset here. I might have to believe in idiot sandwich on this one. - He had a phenomenal draft in my opinion. - For a moment. - An idiot sandwich. - Phenomenal, I heard he was just driving you crazy. - He was just. - He was just. - His draft was exactly what I imagined for myself, just to not turn out that way. - Wow. - So I. - Can you see any trades happening in the future? - Potentially. Potentially. Potentially as well. - Sounds like you have a lot of interest in his players. - Very. - Don't know if he has much interest in any of your players. - Probably not. That's not how things really go for me. - Can't blame him. - Yes. I will also go with idiot sandwich. I feel like that's a one that I feel like will be an upset. Next up, we have hitdongs, not bombs, versus the green mandingo. Another close match up. We have 114 to 112 favoring hitdongs, not bombs. Shamedy. - That's gonna be a tough one. This is a toss up. - It really is. If you were to pick. - Flip a coin. - All right, I have a coin right here. - Okay. - Do you want tails or heads? - I would take tails. (clapping) - It looks like Zach Jones is getting the loss on that coin toss. We are going with hitdongs, not bombs. - Shamedy. - You got shamed. - Congratulations, Shane, on your first week one victory. - And I think that this is as good of a time as any to point out that statistically, teams that start 0 and 1 miss playoffs, 95% of the time. - Because of math. - Because of math. - Because of math, right? - Sorry, Zach. - Sorry, Zach. You will receive a loss in week one, according to the coin and math. Moving on, we have Likimadik versus Mr. Rogers' neighborhood. These are now potentially the two worst names in our league. Very close one. It is another nail biter. It is 111 to 110 favoring Likimadik. Now, I'm gonna just say my winner and loser first on this one. I believe Mr. Rogers' neighborhood will take this because it is just a slightly better name. Danny? - I have to agree. Jordan is just a natural born winner. You know, it's what he does. He makes playoffs. And because math, if you lose week one, you're not making playoffs. And I expect Jordan to make the playoffs. - Fantastic. Now we have probably the team projected the most amount of points this week. And it is Ponyback that is Jacob Molina's team versus Sam Hyde. Now these are probably two of the bestest of friends in this state. - The bestest. - The best of us of friends going head to head week one. Any thoughts? Who's the winner? Who's the loser? Well, we're all winners because we get to witness this matchup week one. It's just an excellent way to start the fantasy season. And I'm just, I'm really looking forward to it. - Great. Fantastic. So who are you going with? - You know, let's go with Jeff. - I'm gonna go with Jeff as well. - Yeah. - Yeah, yeah. Let's go with Jeff. I mean, he is the underdog here at 112 versus Jacob's 118. But let's go with the upset. Let's go with Jeff. - I like it. I like it. - Great. We're not here to just pick all favorites. - No. - No. - Am I sorry, Jacob? I'm not sorry at all. - Yeah, fuck Jacob. Yeah. Okay. So now we are at our last matchup, which is I'm autism. You're a radio host and commissioner, Frank versus my guest speaker, Danny's team, toilet truck. We have an 111 versus 114. - Wow. - Any thoughts on them? - No thoughts. - No, no, I'm good. I'm good on this one too. I mean, I clearly I'm the winner. And if you don't, when week one, it's 99% of the time you're going to miss playoffs. - Great. It looks like I will be missing the playoffs this year. - Indeed, lock it in. - With a guaranteed lock in with a loss or I'm autism. - Don't get your hopes up and... - Now, I want to thank you. - Take some time to focus on your family and try some new restaurants. - Absolutely.
