Noche UFC, Combat FC Shoutout, NFL Week 2
All right. What's up, everybody? I don't know What I just hit but as I was plugging in my microphone My finger hit like the bone of the wire hit my bone and my finger hit the wire and like a giant shock Just like went down my whole arm and I have I'm just sick of fingers in general From training and all that stuff like the amount of like finger injuries that I've gotten and just like shit that happens to my fingers it's just Ignaseating but neither here nor there. I got a little bit a lot planned for this episode I think I'm going to anticipate that this is going to be kind of long I'm gonna I wanted to start out with the NFL week two, but I feel like if I do that I'm gonna lose steam and I think most people that listen to this probably are going to care about the other thing So I'm going to start with The UFC this weekend UFC no che or no che UFC or Rio dad season UFC no che Rio dad season no che UFC UFC 306 I don't fucking know what to call it. I think that this event has a little bit of an identity crisis It's very Strange and the way that it's been marketed, but that's neither here nor there I actually asked during or on my Instagram story earlier and I actually haven't checked the results very much Throughout the day, but I asked if you guys Cared About the sphere on Saturday because I don't really care about the sphere and I'm checking the story now and yeah, I have 53 to 47% Say no Which makes me feel better because I'm usually pretty jaded So I know that I'm going to feel a certain way, but I feel like when this was first announced it was cool But I was like wow, that's neat. That's different that'll be really cool to see But as time has gone on and as the more and more that they talk about it agnosseum I Don't really care. I Don't really care at all I Feel like it's going to be cool for all of about 10 minutes and then the viewing experience watching at home is really not going to I don't I just don't think even if it looks different. Why do I care that's different? I'm there to watch the fights, you know what I mean? And I I do wonder what the viewing experience inside is going to be like because I know that like I Don't feel like people realize how tall it is like when I they did the NHL draft in there back in back in the early part of the summer and You saw videos from in there people that were sitting way up top like They were looking down at the stage. You couldn't even really see anybody that was standing on the stage in any of the videos So I don't know how that's going to be watching fights obviously I any time someone pulls out a camera it Looks farther than it is. So maybe live it won't look so far away, but I Don't think it's not as tall as a normal venue. It's a lot taller So if you're sitting up in the way top, I don't know how you're gonna be it's gonna look like you're looking at ants up there But yeah, I don't really they keep talking about These videos that they're gonna play which this is another thing where I said it has a little bit of an identity crisis Because it's like what is this about is about the spheres about the Mexican independence day is it about? the Big fight that they have in the main event. It's going like all over the place and Yeah, I mean I feel like these videos that they're gonna play they're gonna be cool for all of about 10 minutes if you're watching at home and then once you see one you're probably gonna be like, okay And especially as the night goes on I imagine that by the time the pay-per-view comes around and starts getting late at night You're just gonna be like can we just get the show on the road like I don't need to watch a 90 second clip Between every single fight Yeah, I mean it's it's good that they're Promoting I guess Mexican history not something that a lot of people are All that accustomed to you don't really learn about that here in America, so I Guess as a history nerd I kind like I appreciate that the Mexican people are getting their history sort of shown to the world it kind of reminds me of it if you've never been down in Cancun, but If you go down towards Playa del Carmen Near there there is a Adventure Park whatever nature park. I don't know what the hell they call it. It's not really it's an amusement park sort of ish thing But there isn't really like any rides there. It's sort of a nature park and at night They do this really cool show that basically shows the history of Mexico From the dawn of time until the present day and so when they mentioned the videos that they're gonna show That's what this kind of deck. That's what that kind of reminds me of so I think that's a little neat But I don't really think I'm gonna care for it after you know one or two of them I think I'm gonna be can we move this along and I'm glad that I don't I'm not the only one that feels that way because I can usually be an asshole, but I'm glad that 53% of people that answer this poll seem to agree with me so Moving on from that. Let's move on to the actual fights themselves so Let's start down under on the free limbs does this card is a Some people say it's lackluster. I think it's a decent card It's a little bit disappointing that it's only 10 fights Which is a little abnormal usually these pay reviews big pay reviews are about 13 to 14 So they shaved off about four fights give or take It's an interesting card I would say it's not like loaded Definitely not you would think that if they're doing this making this big old thing of the sphere That they would have stacked it a little bit more, but I don't think it's a terrible card like some people do Like I've seen far worse cars at least at least all the fights stay it together That was important if it did lose a fight that would have been this point and I'm speaking out of pocket at the moment Cuz I'm doing this the night before the way and so I'm not I don't have any wood to knock on so if there is a Cancellation you can blame me But it's it's it's it's a solid card from top to bottom You know you got the three I think that three top fights are obviously the ones that everyone is Looking forward to but there's a you know a couple bangers a lot of good matchups. I think on the prelims Ignacio Bahman des is fighting Manuel Torres. That's a really good fight Obviously a Raul Rosa, Jr. Who's you know Big name for a guy that's unranked He's fighting the Mongolian murderer. I'm not gonna even try to pronounce his name. I heard it earlier And I'm not even going to try to pronounce it But so he's gonna get a lot of attention. He's the first fight of the night Yeah, I mean it's it's it's a decent card Obviously everyone's gonna be excited for the Raul Rosa's fight. I think that's gonna be a win for him I believe the Mongolian murderer. Well, he got submitted before By a match Snell if I remember he was the guy that fought match Snell and match Snell had that crazy comeback and It was a crazy Picture maybe I'm wrong here I am wrong I am wrong if somebody else this thing is my results the search engine here is just all over the place Yeah, he's coming off he's coming off a win in his last fight and Before that he had gotten knocked out by Alminians of It's the hobby for us the hobbies brother It seems like it's a good matchup for Raul Rosa's junior So I'm not gonna really do too much of a deep dive into this one because I really am not all that familiar with the Mongolian murderer but moving on Ignacio by Mondays and Manuel Torres that should be a banger of a fight both guys Got a lot of pop in their in their game should be a good fight Elsewhere on the card Zell Haber and Rivovich Daniel Zell Haber in Esteban Rivovich. That's another good fight Zell Haber's kind of an upper-incomeer. I think he's had a little bit better of a strength of schedule then Rivovich Rivitch just came off that crazy knock out of Terence McKinney in about 45 seconds or whatever it was Even thing with maybe even sooner But Two rising prospects at 155 pounds should be a good fight Before that there's Ronaldo Rodriguez and Oda Osborne Oda Osborne's always in just always giving a good fight on the undercard, so the undercard is really It's not that it's not as bad as I feel like as people have made it Moving on I'm gonna mainly focus on the featured fights here Brian Ortega and Diego Lopez fighting at 145 pounds and What would be really the feature fight of the night before the title fights? This fight was supposed to happen a couple months ago and It got shifted around all over the place it was supposed to be a 145 pound fight and then The day before at the way ends or Tega who had taken I mean both they both took the fight on short notice It was due to the whole cancellation with Connor and Chandler and That whole mess where they had to add fights at the last second They both took the fight on short notice. They were supposed to fight at 145 Ortega was reportedly already bulking up to move up to 155, so he was already heavy so Ortega needed to change the weight at the last second and they weighed in for 155 pound fight After that the day after Ortega got sick and They had to find Dan Ege On a few hours notice to fight Diego Lopez, so they re-booked this fight Much needed Diego Lopez was able to get past Dan Ege, so this fight could happen. I Think that fight with Dan Ege showed a lot about Diego Lopez was a little bit on test. I think before That fight it may have been a little bit He definitely would have been jumping straight into the deep end But now that he's had that experience with Dan Ege It's a little bit more of a softer landing here For Lopez, he's definitely going to have the question of that third round that third round That he had against Dan Ege got tired Who could kind of blame him though? He had to cut weight on two weeks notice and then Ended up the way to end up getting changed on him and then he had to weigh in at a different weight so whether that was related to The short weight cut or not remains to be seen it's going to be a question until he proves that he you know Can last all 15 minutes? Because he did lose that last round to Danny Gay who took the fight on a few hours notice So it's a little bit of a stain on the win but you know again it was Unusual circumstances, so we'll see how much we can really hold that against him But it is going to be something that he has to answer for in this fight with Brian Ortega or he might not have to Ortega often leaves himself to getting vulnerable to getting hurt early on in fights Clap notoriously his last fight got dropped by Yair Rodriguez multiple times, but He's never out of the fight until the fights off so You know, you're really gonna have to kill him to get him out of there he's had multiple fights where he's been badly hurt badly battered and Ended up coming back and winning the fight, so For Diego Lopez who starts very fast Just hurting Ortega once or twice is not going to be enough. He's really gonna have to go in there and kill him that being said I think that the trajectory of both their careers Ortega obviously got the win in his last fight, but Really hasn't been active very much the past few years Diego Lopez has been fighting Whatever since he got into the UFC on that short notice fight with Evloyev. He's been fighting fairly regularly So, you know, he's been in there Ortega hasn't The trajectory is Lopez is trending upward Ortega sort of been forgotten about a little bit This could be you must have forgot sort of moment and Ortega just shows that there's levels and he's in a different class but I'm picking Diego Lopez in this one. I Just think he's got a Lot of tools that's gonna give Ortega problems It'll be crazy if it goes so it goes to the ground because they're both very good at jujitsu But I think Ortega's got the advantage in that department But as a grappler myself, I would love to see it go to the ground. So I'm gonna pick Lopez I'm gonna pick Lopez Probably get some probably gets it done in the first round probably hurts or take a bad and hurts them enough That he's able to finish him Crazy fact of the day though with that fight is It doesn't seem like it and you probably wouldn't believe it but Lopez has 11 more fights than Brian or take it as professionally, so a little Ortega has fought the upper echelon of the division, but Lopez has a lot of experience so I'm gonna go with Lopez in that fight and That's that next up the trilogy fight between Alexa Grosso and Valentina Shifshanko Now This is probably one of the few women's fights that the UFC could book at the moment that would really draw a lot of interest I don't mean to say that disrespectfully, but These two women have had two really good fights already They're clearly the class of the women's flyweight division as of now Shifshanko for a long period of time Dominated that division and she's been a name to be reckoned with in women's MMA for a long time Alexa Grosso sort of on the come-up and Was not really expected to beat Shifshanko the first time and she wasn't she wasn't beating her and then She ended up catching Shifshanko in a rear naked choke in the fourth round. I believe They had the rematch at the Mexican Independence Day card last year, which was a little bit more I felt more the marketing for that was a lot better by the way and It was very close fight Towards the end it was probably Valentina Shifshanko's fight to lose and she kind of lost it she kind of lost it where she gave up her back and in that fifth round sort of needlessly and Grosso took advantage and ended up squeaking out a draw in that fight So, you know based off of the previous two fights. They've both been You know Grosso has escaped defeat both times. I would say So, you know Conventional wins them would probably tell you that Shifshanko's gonna win. I believe Grosso is the favorite I think she's about - 120 somewhere around there. Let me just double check that Conventional wins of them would kind of tell you based off the last two fights that Shifshanko should probably win because She was winning the first fight and she was probably about to win the second fight if she didn't make a mistake in the fifth round But there's something about a Grosso. Yeah, yes, she's actually -135 has gone up Something about Grosso where I would say she's getting better every fight because she clearly made improvements from the first fight To the second fight and there was only a matter of a few months there Between them. I Believe let me see how many days it was in between Or months it was in between But she's clearly getting better Whereas, yeah, so they fought in March 2023 and then they fought again in September of 2023 so Wasn't it was only about six months there and now that it's been a year so I Feel like Grosso is getting better and Shifshanko is still sort of doing the same thing. She's getting older So I'm leaning towards Alexa Grosso in this fight. I think that she's just gonna find a way to Eke out another nail biter. I think it's gonna be another close close decision Probably it could again could probably go either way. I just think that's Grosso's gonna do enough to Eke out another one from Shifshanko because she's already done it. She's sort of already done it twice She's managed to escape with that belt both times So I don't know what happens if there if Shifshanko were to win I feel like that would be the grounds for a fourth fight So hopefully for the Division's sake Grosso wins this fight and we can move on From what is this has been a good rivalry. It's been a good Trilogy up to this point. We'll see if the third fight can can live up to the hype, but it's been I Just think that Grosso is obviously the younger fighter and she's More sure she's trending upward Shifshanko sorta has plateaued. I think inner skill set and I just think that that's gonna be the difference in this third fight. So I'm gonna pick Alexa cross so in a close decision Okay in the main event Obviously, this is a fight that's been brewing for a long time Sean O'Malley and robbed Vollish Villy feels like they've been on a a Collision course for a very long time probably dating back to when O'Malley be Piorgion a couple years ago. Now. I believe that was about two years ago now It seemed like it's been inevitable that these two were going to fight whether it was going to be before one of them got the belt or after Obviously O'Malley got the title shot right away And after the Jan fight and ended up winning the belt and now These two are going to fight. Let me just take a sip of water here After what feels like two years of build up Now It's fair to say and I actually I heard this from Aaron Broadsetter up in Canada that After the fight it's gonna feel obvious who That the result is gonna feel like it was obvious It just is sort of a matter of who's it gonna be for and I sort of agree with that It feels like anyone that's analyzing this fight is expecting a dominant a dominant victory from one side or the other They're either expecting O'Malley is going to put on a match class and striking in Finnish Marab early or Marab is going to weaponize his cardio his wrestling put O'Malley on his back and end up winning a decision a 49 46 of 50 45 decision I don't think there's too much of People that think it's in the middle where it's gonna be a hyper competitive fight. That's gonna go down to the wire I Feel like obviously anything's possible when you get these guys these good But I do sort of believe it's gonna be one or the other So with that being said I do think that O'Malley is getting a lot better every single time he steps in the cage He showed that he can win fights that are tough against Pjordion he showed that he can Finish high-level guys when he finished Algime Sterling and he showed that he can put on a master class when he fought Cheetah Vera Every time he gets in the cage it feels like he's Getting miles and miles better than what he was the last time we saw him How long is that gonna trend upward? We'll see I feel like Marab you sort of know what you're gonna get every single time He's gonna try to break you with his pace. He's gonna try to break you with his wrestling and I don't feel like anything's really changed. He has a tendency to get clipped early on Marlon Mariahs, she almost finished him a couple years ago That was probably a little while ago now it's probably about three years ago now And in his last fight against Henry, so hudo he also got hurt early on so It's obviously that first round is where this is fight is gonna really be decided I think if O'Malley And he has the hand speed to do it if O'Malley is able to hurt Marab really in the fight He's gonna finish him. I don't think I I don't see a scenario where Marab gets hurt and Sort of survives it. I think that O'Malley's too dangerous He's too quick. These other guys that have hurt him are not as patient They're not as long That's that's sort of another thing that I look at with this fight is that Marab hasn't really fought anybody long and linky never fought Corey Sandhagen He's sort of fought Rish. He's fought young He's fought pseudo. He's fought these smaller guys and O'Malley is a big Bantamweight He's a tall linky Bantamweight Bantamweight And I think that he poses a different matchup from Rob than he is used to I And also, I just don't think that he can leave himself to be so vulnerable coming in as He does with these other guys because if he gets hurt, I don't think O'Malley's going to give him is Gonna let him get away with it These other guys have sort of let him off the hook But they're not as good as strikers Marla Marais Henry, so hudo They're not as good a strikers as Sean O'Malley not even close So I'm gonna pick Sean O'Malley. I'm gonna pick him in an early finish. I Think it's going to Again, I'm not gonna be shocked by any one thing or the other. That's just my reasoning for picking Sean O'Malley. I think that No one's really tested Sean's grappling so To say that Sean can't grapple is unfair sort of at this point in time No one's been able to handle Morav's pressure. I could tell you that so Why would I think it's gonna be Sean when he doesn't really have the grappling regimen? I don't know I'm just saying we haven't really seen it No one's really taking him down and control them So I mean, you know pure to took him down a couple times, but that fight was so chaotic that you know hard hard to judge off there Morav's yeah, Morav's gonna be careful coming in and he's got to really make Sean work and he's got to burn that gas tank But Sean has good coaching And I think he's uber confident. I think he thinks he's gonna get it done. He's not gonna be afraid of Morav And I think I think he trusts his cardio in his skill set So I it'll be interesting to see no one's really made him break yet. We haven't really seen O'Malley in a In a situation well, we have seen an O'Malley in a situation where he could have broken he did when he fought purely on so You know Just basing it off the history. I feel like I just have to go with Sean O'Malley I just feel like it's the safer pick and I feel like the betters feel that way because this line has flipped this line went from O'Malley being a slight underdog to now Morav's a slight underdog, so Something to pay attention to But other than that that's my UFC 306 Breakdown at the moment. I Will mention that tomorrow I'm going to combat FC. I got about seven dudes that I'm there for between the New England cartel and North the Andover Jiu Jitsu They always run a good event I fought there back in February They're on fight pass, which is obviously good exposure for guys around here I didn't really plan on what to say in this like in this part of the show, but I Will say that obviously I'm gonna go there rooting for my teammates Blaze Nichols who is fighting for the amateur banum weight title that kids a real problem He's he's gonna he he he really could go places. He's he's pretty young He's 20 years old and he's fighting for the vacant title against a kid from a really good gym Up at Nastos So I'm really excited to see that really say to see blaze get tested in that fight One of my best friends Fred Allen's fair. He's fighting real another Veteran amateur, I guess if you want to call him a kid named Mike Jolliker from over there at the guys at KTA That should be a really good fight Kind of similar to a Malian Marab in that it's that striker versus grappler It really it should be an interesting fight from a stylistic standpoint I'm really excited to see how Fred deals with that sort of style Being his friend and all Obviously, I get nervous anytime my friends fight, but that's just the name of the game other guys fighting from North and over Johan Alvarado. I believe that's his last name He's making his debut Wicked excited to see him fight. He's got really good striking Femi North and over jiu-jitsu's wrestling coach our guy Chris Smith another good kid Got Good striking good jiu-jitsu good everything good all around from New England cartel Carlos LaZoya who is I think he deserves to be in the UFC at this point in time I don't I he doesn't have the greatest record, but all the dudes that beat him are killers So, you know, it's only a matter of time before he gets the call That dude's pace is insane he's Got the craziest pace of anybody that I've ever trained with And James Maren as well. He's fighting as well. He's a nice guy Really haven't trained with him that much, but he's a great guy and he's a good She was he's given me good rounds before so Excited to see that They also run a good event. I would say a combat FC You know you get the big screen in the background Lighting school they have I think the best production quality as far as in fights And or in fight video around here So you always get good clips from them off YouTube whenever after the fights Yeah, I'm excited for it. I don't know when exactly I'll be in actually Femi is fighting the kid that I was supposed to fight back in May, but I've fucked up my wrist and My wrist really hasn't been The same for a while. It's kind of starting to get back there. We'll see. I don't know Maybe I'll fight again. Maybe I'll just do this. I don't know But that ends that part. I just wanted to throw that out there combat FC. I just wanted to tag them give them some Props give them some publicity mention it probably put this on my story. So the way they can repost it You know but moving on Let's move on to NFL week two, which is already kicked off as I'm actually watching the game at the moment in the background I got the bills and the dolphins here Thursday night football Haven't really been able to pay attention because I've been talking Apparently the bills are up 17 to 7. I didn't see how that happened. I'm gonna have to watch the highlights after afterwards I do have the bills in this game. I had the bills plus two and a half. So I'm happy with this result at the moment Oh, it looks like to a tongue of light lowest thrown two interceptions. So that probably explains why Obviously, I'm not gonna talk too much about this game because it's already going on and the this is gonna get posted afterwards But obviously I'll start with the Patriots Coming off big win much needed win to start off the year It was important to get off on the right foot Unexpectedly unexpectedly they go into Cincinnati and beat the bangles who on paper are better than them But in practice that remains to be seen Obviously the bangles as I mentioned the other day the bangles were complicit in that But that doesn't take away from the fact that the Patriots played a really clean game They attacked the ball on defense and they didn't turn the ball over. They didn't make any stupid mistakes It was a good good all-around win Good all-around win a Patriot win a very Patriot like game under the new regime and now they get a What I think is gonna be a stiffer test this week Maybe not in terms of talent, but at least in terms of how the based off of how we won win Seattle's coming in Seattle's also got a first-time head coach Coming in here, so it's gonna be a battle of two first-time head coaches Seattle's got a good defense. They made rookie bonix look very bad at points in time the other day So, you know, this isn't really gonna be a team that you can you know throw the ball on Especially with your receivers in your talent So it's gonna be another day where you rely on Ramandre Stevenson, and you know I don't know how successful you're gonna be when you're sort of led to be one-dimensional But we'll see how it goes Seattle's a little banged up at the moment. I know they had a bunch of People on their injured report, so we'll see how that develops as the rest of the week goes I would say that I like teams I like the East Coast team when the West Coast team is coming across the country on Sunday at one o'clock But I've been told that that statistic does not really hold up. I've heard that Teams that actually do do that have a better win percentage than just road teams in general So I guess I can't count that as an advantage anymore but But Seattle is definitely gonna be a tougher test Just defensively I don't think you're gonna be able to just bully them Like you did the bangles at the line of scrimmage, so It's gonna come down to again cleaning playing another clean game and hoping that your defense can Force Seattle to make mistakes which they can you know you got Geno Smith, you're not dealing with a you know You're dealing with a veteran quarterback who? You know it's been around the league for a long time, but you know you're not talking about a Top 10 a top 15 quarterback You're talking about Geno Smith who's sort of trending towards the end of the line And they got a little bit of a beat up offensive line at the moment, so You know and they don't have great targets either, so You know I think on defense you can Pressure them you can force the you can force turnovers, but I think it's really gonna come down to who plays a better game Then you know talent I guess per se I think it's gonna be whoever commits the less less penalties and doesn't turn the ball over as Exciting as that is as obvious as that feels to say I feel like this is just gonna be a tough gritty football game The total suggests that the total is about 38 at the moment, so Vegas is not expecting a high scoring game between these two I think it's gonna come down to who can get the short field who can get the free first downs on on offense and Yeah, who's it's gonna be a lot of kick and feel goals and run in the ball up the gut I do like the Patriots at plus three and a half. I'll say that I This is a perfect opportunity for the Patriots to win the only thing that I feel like stands in their way is That they've really kind of sucked At home recently they only got one win at home last year that was that win against Buffalo so I Feel like that's that's something that they need to get over is they seem to play better on the road than they do at home Hopefully that doesn't that trend doesn't stay Going into this year it'd be a real shame if they followed up last week's good performance with the stinker at home But yeah, so I wouldn't expect if you have tickets for a high-flying game, I think it's gonna be a cloud-a-dust and a lot of war on the trenches and Again whoever plays the cleaner game. I think is gonna end up winning that one as obvious and as stupid as that sounds but I Probably like the Seahawks to win just because I I don't I still don't think the Patriots are That good, but I do like the Patriots to cover. I think it'd be a close game and until they can show that They can win those close games with regularity, which they haven't been able to the past few years I'm gonna probably fade them. So I Like the Patriots cover, but I like to see Hawks to win the game But we'll see we'll see we'll see what they can do on Sunday as the rest of the The goes it'll be interesting to see who bounces back after a poor week to performance obviously the bangles probably getting the most flack and The bills are really taking it to the dolphins right now actually as I'm as I'm looking up They just got another touchdown Obviously the bangles catching the most flack for losing to the Patriots at home on Sunday Biggest favorites of the week and they ended up losing So they have a tough test and they're kind of walking into a nightmare scenario where they got to face the Chiefs on Sunday In a four o'clock game. It's gonna be big game right out of the gate. I kind of like the bangles to bounce back in this game as crazy as that sounds I Believe the line is five and a half or six. I actually kind of like the bangles at that number since he Show their they're not that bad. They're not as I They they could if they lose this game big. I mean they they're really in trouble, but Whenever they seem to see Casey. They always give them a hard time. I Think they'll come in motivated. I think they're sick of the Chiefs I think if there's any team in league that hates the Chiefs. It's the Cincinnati bangles. They have a bit of a gripe with them So I'm gonna I'm gonna expect a better game from the bangles this weekend. I think that They have to worry about their quarterback Joe burrow doesn't seem like his wrist injury is really healed up, but I Think that if T Higgins plays if Jamar's Chase has now been in practice for the week I think they'll probably come in motivated after here. I and I can only imagine how bad they heard it down in Cincinnati I'm not in Cincinnati. So I don't know but I feel like Usually week to week in the NFL doesn't carry over so I'm gonna take the bangles at plus six if If you want a betting pick I Think the bangles can at least keep it close. I don't think they'll win. I just think the Chiefs right now Or just that team that they just pull out games that they probably shouldn't win Even if even if the bangles out play them. They'll probably the Chiefs will probably win. They're just they're just that good So I would like Casey to win that game, but I do like the bangles to keep it close And have a bounce back Other teams that lost week one obviously the Ravens they lost to the Chiefs on opening night They are going to the Vegas Raiders perfect bounce back game for them I Vegas really not as good Weren't expected to be good and they're not good So I would expect the Ravens to get a bounce back when they're interesting game the Rams and the Cardinals both teams lost on Sunday sort of heartbreaker and close games the Cardinals were up big on the bills and They lost When the bills came back in the second half and the Rams really seemed to have seemed like they had that game Sunday night against the Lions locked up Seemed like Jared Goff through a bad interception towards the end of the game that would have sealed it for the Rams but got dropped and Lions were able to get up the field and and kick a field goal and Send the game to overtime and the Rams never saw the ball in overtime. So Both teams coming off heartbreak and losses. I'm bullish on both of these teams So this is kind of an important game for me Because I think that both these teams are sort of dark courses But it'll be interesting to see how they bounce back Obviously disappointing first week for the Cardinals is a rookie receiver Marvin Harrison who they took only gets one catch and Gets completely ignored on the final play of the game But yeah, so that'll be that's an inch. That's a big game. I think actually for both teams of season Obviously tie breakers and and all that factoring in Another big game between two oh and one teams that Could be now these teams are sort of not dark courses they're kind of in That neutral middle ground the Packers and the Colts where it's like how good are you actually? the Colts are Can really throw no one was really talking about them before the start of the year No one really knew what to expect with them with Anthony Richardson because he only played a few games last year And he ended up getting hurt But they took a good Houston team to task last week and ended up losing but it was a close game a tight game and They're sort of a No one really knows sort of team Definitely not on anyone's radar So it'd be interesting how this game goes with the Packers Packers again play the Eagles down in Brazil on that horrible horrible horrible field That they had down there in Sao Paulo Really kind of I feel like lost the game in the first quarter They had many opportunities to get into the end zone that game should have been 21 nothing at the end of the first quarter and It was only six nothing and that's when I felt like the Packers were in trouble Yeah, so we'll see how good the Packers are and now they don't have Jordan love for a few weeks to a month at The moment with an mcl sprain So they're really going to be praying for Malik Willis to to keep keep everything under wraps while Jordan love is gone and And if they're not careful they can get buried pretty quick Like I said that Rams and card that Rams and Cardinals Those are two teams. I think could buy for a wild card spot as it appears that the 49ers are just still the 49ers So if the Packers aren't careful with Malik Willis here They they could end up Digging themselves into a hole that they may not be able to get out of when Jordan love comes back So this is a big game for them as well. It's big game for the Colts they have to sort of show who they are and figure out who they are if they're 6 and 10 team or if they're a 10 and 16 that's going to make the play Let me hang on if there's 6 and 11 team or an 11 and 16. That's going to make the playoffs And the Packers got to make sure they save their season before it goes down the tubes right in front of them so Those are the games to watch this week that's a quick week to week to preview and Yeah, I'm gonna end the episode here at a crisp 46 minutes. I don't think I need to go on any longer So yeah, hopefully good luck to everybody fighting tomorrow Obviously, I'm pulling for everybody all my teammates and everybody that I've trained with at both gyms and Hopefully be a good night fights have a good night guys
