The Florida Gators football team under new head coach Billy Napier were under fire in June for their start to the 2023 recruiting cycle after missing out on Francis Mauigoa and Jaden Rashada to the Miami Hurricanes and Mario Cristobal. Head coach Billy Napier and the Florida Gators are motivated to having a stronger 2024 recruiting class after adding Myles Graham early on and recruiting Desmond Ricks from IMG Academy, Adarius Hayes, Brayshon Williams, and Eddy Pierre-Louis, who is the little brother of current Florida Gators offensive lineman Richard Gouraige.
