Joshua Project presents and reads to the day, "As we traveled to Pakistan to pray for the 5.8 million Awan who are known for being valiant warriors. They were recruited as soldiers by the British during the colonial period and in both world wars. Today, many Awan served in the Pakistani military. Many resources are available in the Awan's primary language of western Punjabi, including the New Testament and the Jesus film. Unfortunately, there are no known Awan believers and Awan who decides to follow Jesus will face persecution from his or her family and community. Radio programs in western Punjabi can be, bring the good news to the Awan. Also, copies of the Jesus film can be distributed and shown in northern Pakistan. John chapter 1 reads, "The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him and John said, 'Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away this end of the world.'" Pray that today's people group looks to the Lamb of God Jesus to have their sins taken away. Also pray for peace in the area where the A1 live. Thanks, I'm recording.
