Joshua Project presents and reach to the day. As we travel to Nigeria to pray for the 432,000 manga canuri, the mostly live in Bono Province of Northeastern Nigeria, where they're the dominant people group. The canuri have been muslim since the 11th century. They blend their form of Islam with ancient beliefs. Islam is their identity and will be difficult to present Christ to them. In such a way, they won't see it as a threat to their identity. God Africa, people love music and dance. If the gospel message is presented musically, the manga canuri might find it acceptable. Pray that these people see and recognize Jesus for who he truly is, the one who can heal spiritual blindness of the world as the gospel of mark details. And Jesus said to him, "What do you want me to do for you?" And the blind man said to him, "Rabbi, let me recover my sight. Ask the Holy Spirit to soften the hearts of the canuri towards the gospel." Finally, please ask God to raise up prayer teams who will begin breaking up the soil through intercession. Thanks. I'm Mark Gordick.
