Joshua Project presents Unreach to the Day as we traveled in Niger to pray for the Woda Bay Fulani who are first seen as a people group in the Sena Gambia Valley in the 11th century. They traveled east and south of the Sahara desert for the next 400 years. The Woda Bay people are noted for their art and their unique traditions such as beauty contests for men. Those who want to take Christ to them will need to be careful not to violate their various taboos if at all possible. The Woda Bay are artistic and famous for their dyed cloth. The women do the embroidery. Pray that this people group humbles themselves and comes to God with childlike trust and thereby enter into his kingdom. But when Jesus saw it he was indignant and said to them let the children come to me. Do not hinder them for such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly I say to you whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it. Please pray that the few Woda Bay who follow Christ would be filled with the fruit and power of the Holy Spirit so they can lead others to the cross. Let's all pray for the Lord to thrust out workers who are willing to be brave and to endure the harsh lifestyle of Niger's Woda Bay people. Thanks. I'm Mark Gordon.
