Unreached of the Day
Pray for the Berber in Morocco
Joshua Project presents unreached to the day as we travel to Morocco to pray for the 2.9 million Amazian Berbers, who are the original ethnic group of the Maghreb region in North Africa. These unique people continue to maintain their traditions even after the invasion by Arabs who brought Islam. However, many Amazian were forced to become Muslims and the majority of their descendants today are Muslims. Following Jesus in Morocco is not an easy path. When someone decides to follow the Savior, unfortunately there will almost be, certainly, pressure from the family and society to return to Islam. Many Amazian people are very disillusioned with Islam, so join us in prayer that they might see how it's been used to bring in Arabic language and culture and diminish their language and culture. They might be open to hearing about a similar Savior if He is introduced in their language. Pray that the Lord gives this people group the discernment to recognize false prophets and the grace to know the true prophet, priest, and king, Jesus Christ. Pray for Amazian believers to have the love and boldness to share Christ with their families. Thanks. I'm worth
