The Purdue Boilermakers took down the No. 1 ranked Arizona Wildcats on Saturday, with Zach Edey finishing third on his own team in scoring behind the guard duo of Braden Smith and Fletcher Loyer. If Purdue can still dominate with Edey in a more complimentary role, this team clearly has what it takes to avenge last year's NCAA Tournament loss and win the national championship.
Elsewhere in college basketball, UConn continued their dominance with a win over Gonzaga in Seattle, Kentucky took down North Carolina in a battle of blue bloods, Kansas stormed back from down 13 to beat Indiana on the road, Michigan State absolutely crushed Baylor in Detroit, and Houston withstood a furious rally from Texas A&M to remain undefeated on the year.
