The Kansas Jayhawks were sent to the west region while the Houston Cougars earned a spot in the midwest, a small but impactful distinction that could cost Bill Self's team in the NCAA Tournament. Kansas has to get through a deep UCLA team as a two seed, a hot Gonzaga team as a three, and the best four seed in the field in UConn.
