Radio pulpit 657 a.m. Your Daily Companion. This is hard to hide with Swang Lema Fokeng on Radio pulpit. And yes, that's me. It is hard to hide with me. Swang Lema Fokeng with you up until three o'clock gave you the sounds of praise Peterson, Hallelujah, Yahweh. And I hope that you're enjoying that one. You were dancing to that one. It's such a beautiful one, just worshiping the Lord, just praising the name of the Lord. Lord Jesus Christ. It is a beautiful, beautiful Tuesday, 14 minutes. It is just after 12. I have to say thanks to Germany. No, no, no, it wasn't U.N.L.s. It was U.N. Vain and Rousseau. I think I love Germany, U.N.L.s. And his name is easier to just say Germany, U.N.L.s. Why, but why do I forget my U.N.S. name? Even last week, I was like, Germany, U.N.L.s, when I was supposed to say U.N.Vain and Rousseau. That was crafty, like, with U.N.Vain and Rousseau. And I know that you have had a wonderful time together with Pastor Rochi Stevens, as they have been answering questions right there to family members. Now, Fondach, right here in the studio, I'm welcoming, are you a new kid on the blog? Should I call you a new kid on the blog? I think so, yeah. I think that's appropriate. I'm welcoming a new kid on the blog in Tovossosama! Let me do this! Tovossos, how are you? No, I'm good, man. I'm great. It's just so nice to be called a kid. You're not a kid. So, yeah, no, no, no. But on the blog, you are... I'm really good at it. No, I'm great, man. I'm good. Thank you so much for having me. Yeah, so you say it's the first time you come to radio with this? Yes, it's my first time, yeah. I got lost coming through, yeah. Yeah, I saw you. I was like, "Oh, okay." Yeah, that was my first time. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no. So, thank you so much for coming through and talking to us today. Yeah, yeah, no, thank you so much. We are so excited. But who is Tovossosama? Tovossosama, well, yeah. I'm a husband. I'm married to my beautiful wife, and Paul. Yeah, is she tuned in? I hope so. Oh, yeah, please, Grisha. Hello, how are you? Oh, yeah, we've got two, three beautiful kids, two boys and the girls. The last one, the girl has me around her finger, so that's my family. Oh, so she is Daddy's girl? Yes, the last one, the last one. Okay, yeah, Wenzo Wuhei's her name, so. Yeah, and then you and Christ, what did you meet? Sure, yeah, so I grew up in church, so my mum was in church, so I've always been around church and being a church boy. I found the Lord in 2015, so that is the landmark where everything started. So, that's my beginning of this journey. So, next year, you will be 10 years old. Um, 2015. Oh, 2015, oh, okay, yeah. Yeah, no, no, no, wait, I think I'm making a mistake. Yeah, you are. I was 20, 15, you'll be 10 years old. No, I meant 2005. You know, 20 years, you'll be 20 years. No, like 10 years doesn't sound right. No, no, no, no, no, no, yeah, I said that. 2005 was the time, yeah, it was the time. You've been 20 years old in Christ. You see, you're a new kid and 20 years old in Christ. Wow. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so that's, that's when, yeah, the journey's been good. Yeah. God has been good working with me throughout, throughout my, my varsity, my beginning of working life, my beginning of marriage life. So now I'm here. What? So, so tell us about your beginning of the ministry life where music is concerned. Yes, yeah. So, so I, I sing in the worship team in our, in our church. So that started in 2015. Oh, that's the right thing. So, yeah, so that's when I started serving in church. But now you were saved in what did? SEO, SEO, yeah, the school, the varsity ministry. So you were not ministering that? No, I was hiding then. Oh, yeah. OK. I was hiding in the books, isn't it? Sure. Yeah. Well, for Nupasa. For Nupasa. Just go and study. Leave the varsity. And, and just go to pray. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. So, so, yeah, I think the career that I am in, the people that are accountants and they've studied become accounting, they would, they would know that you'd try as much as possible to stay in the library, to make sure that you... Even in the evenings. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yeah, so, yeah, so there was the hiding part. So, so then coming to, to like singing stuff, then, yeah, serving in church. And then that's where then I realized, well, they could be a gift here. OK. That we are, we are not utilizing for, for the kingdom. And then, so last year I started learning how to play piano. And then my piano lesson teacher then said, no, no, no. There's something here. Yeah. Let's, let's, let's work on one song for you. Let's work on one song for you. That was it. That's the beginning. But now I was listening to somebody earlier today talking about the gifts. And I think it was Pastor Rokey. Yeah. It was, but the Rokey, as I was coming. Yeah. And as he was talking to Unevenand, and he spoke about the gifts that sometimes we're not even aware of what we've been called for, but other people tell us what we've been called for. Correct. Correct. How did you know? Did somebody tell you that, "Mara, I'm man." Yeah. Sell group. Yeah. Sell group. I think. So, I had to sell group. Yeah. So, I was the guy that used to start songs. In the sell group. In the sell group. OK. And then a late, late friend of mine, I don't remember the song. I said, no, no, no. There, there's something there. Let me send you to those people there, and you start studying with them. Yeah. And then I took auditions. Yeah. And I started like that. You did auditions in church. Yeah. So, we do have auditions. We don't just take anywhere. So, there's nothing, there's nothing like, this is a Pimbele, a tea. No, no, no. No, no, no. You're not a such a thing. And then, and then you, you went into the group since 2015, it turned years now, almost nine years now. Yeah. Yeah. And this is when you found that ministry in you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, that's- But you never thought recording. Not a chance. Not a chance. Like, I never saw, like, for me, one serving in the worship team, obviously, was something that I didn't even think I was going to do until, like, I got the nudge, like I said, from these guys. And then I joined. But then even joining, like, recording for Fasht, for Fashtort. Yeah. But yeah, here we are now. So, did you worked with any artist in these ten years? In the ten years now, no, I hadn't worked with anybody. Yeah. With anybody. With anyone. Yeah. Like, the person that I had met up with after I released my single was Takindo. Uh-huh. And I was being trying to get into studio, very busy man. Yeah. So, it was very hard to pin him down. So, yeah, we're probably going to do something in the new feature. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. All right. I wanted to play your song first matter. Let's go to Takindo's song. Yeah. Yeah. You chose my healer. Yeah. Why that one? Yeah. And that's, I mean, we, that's, that's, that's what Jesus is in our lives. Yeah. Um, many people back all with, with, with sicknesses and if you find Jesus, you find the healer. Yeah. I, I think I, I need to know then that when you found your ministry, that no, I'm also called in this space, not only in the books, hmm, not only as an accountant, but also as a worshipper, but in song, yeah, what it means for you, but I think let's take my healer first and then when we come back, we are talking some more and family. Can we welcome on Togo's or Zama sir, and Togo's or Zama in the, the, the block. Hey, he's just, he just came through and he's like, Oh, I didn't know that God has called me for this, but God has directed his path. Can we just welcome him to the radiopropic family as well? But now we're taking the sounds of the kindle my healer. From active, active in faith, 657 AM. Radiopulpit's Facebook page makes you more a part of the station than ever before. Hello to you. Thank you for tuning in and being with us, Muruti. I hope that you are enjoying a conversation here with Sir Zama. And I'm talking to Oberwendogo Zama, family, you can talk to us. The lines are open. Zero on two, three, three, four. Zero on two, three, three, four, one, three, two, two. And I see this poem as Zama says, I'm listening, guys, interview so beautiful and natural conversation flowing. So calming. Hello, my queen. Thank you so much for tuning in. Another queen there, Momma Molita, who is saying hello, hello, hello, Shalom Radiopulpit. And oh, she's missing us as well, and we've got players. May the Lord bless you to my family. Thank you so much. And here from the asset, can we welcome him in the new block and welcome him to the Radiopulpit family as well. And so before we went to Utakindo, I said, and then, you know, what does worship mean to you? Yeah, that's, you know, sitting outside there, there's a poet that says pulpit ministry. Yeah. And that is, that is the worship that we come with as worship, as it is, it is a pulpit ministry. Yeah. You are so close, you are like next to the pastor, so, so when, when you are ministering and song, that is, that is you ushering the, the people into, into the presence of God. So you, you lay the foundation before the pastor starts preaching and sharing the word. So, so it's so, it's so critical and we, we can't take it, take it for granted. But in, in your personal space? Yeah, I met my wife, obviously, you stay, you're, you're, you're, you're the kind that looks like you go home and then you pack in the car and you, you don't come out. You're like, that, that song, that song, that song, that melody, that melody. Yeah. Yeah. We can, we can work on something like that. Yeah. So my wife always singing, always singing every time. So, so yeah. So in song, I mean, yeah, I break out in song most of the time. Oh, and she met you. Were you singing? Yes. Yeah, yeah. So I was singing, but not like out there, then on the day of our wedding. So my, my people from my previous church in, in, in Devan, so they said, no, no, no, please sing that song. So this song that I've released now, or that was my song that I used to sing in, in Devan. Tattoo chase. So, so they're like, I know, please sing your song. And I started singing. At your wedding, and she hadn't heard me, like singing your mic. I'm sure she was like, oh, that's going to happen. So, so that's when she find out like, Hey, guy, you, you can sing. What a beautiful sliver. Classic. Classic. So that's, that's when she, she find out that, yeah, there is. So tell us about tattoo chase, yeah, the song that you, you have recorded your single, my single. And you used to sing in Durban? Yes. Yeah. So you used to sing it with, with the church in, in case of N in Devan. So I grew up, it was wonderful by Pastor's song. Yes. So like I listened to it, I liked it. And then you said, no, you can sing it. Then I started singing it. Then I felt the connection with the song. So the song came from within? No, it's a hymn. It's a hymn. It's a hymn. It's from the hymn book. So yeah. But he used to sing it. And then the olden churches, there's a song for their pastor. That song. Yeah. Yeah. You know that before he preaches, that's the song he needs to start. Yes. Correct. Yeah. All right. Yeah. So, so that's, that's where I got it from. And then when we started this music thing, then I was praying, God said, no, start with that song. And that's in line with, with the ministry that's, that's, that I have in terms of calling people to Jesus. And that is, that it helped me to receive that message that my role is to call people to Jesus. Yeah. And then, and then that's. Which basically means take Jesus as your lord and savior. Correct. Correct. And that's my music writing process is most of the same centered around, around that. So do you call yourself a music evangelist? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So why, everyone doesn't like evangelist. I like it. I don't know why you see this hiding, isn't it, isn't it the job of an evangelist to call people to Christ? Correct. Correct. Well, it's, it's everybody's job, but we see more and more evangelists calling them unto Christ. And that's what that song says. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Come to Jesus. Take Jesus. You give you strength is your helper. Yeah. Yeah. And that's, that's, that's when then we started with, with the ministry, with that type of a song. That's, that's laying down the foundation of what's, what's to come music that we busy working with. Now writing songs, um, it's, it just helps you. And I hear something is on the pipeline. Yeah. Yeah. Something is on the pipeline. Yeah. Something is, something is coming. It's cooking. Yeah. It's cooking. Getting great. So these days, um, I won't have one song, I'll have, you already don't have one song, right? Yeah. No, no, no, no. The album is, is, is finishing now. So yeah, I think how many songs will be in that album, um, so, so on my way here. You were still trying to say I found a song on my way here. Wow. So I was listening to, to, to, uh, once more yesterday, and then you were saying, um, the songs that, um, I, I written a good, but he sees the songs that I downloaded from the spirit as those are the songs. I like most of the songs that are in my album, uh, downloaded from the spirit. Yeah. Yeah. It's also on my way. Yeah. Driving. Yeah. Melody just came. So, so, so, so. Which means when you live here? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Tell me, when you get a song into your spirit, when it lands, what do you, do you do you record yourself? Yes. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's why you got lost. Yeah. I lost track. Yeah. You were like, ah, thank you. This is it. This is it. This is it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And it is about calling, um, calling people to, to the Lord. Oh, that's why I'm bleeding. Oh, that's why I'm bleeding. Oh. Oh. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Awesome. Awesome. Yeah. Hi. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Awesome. And this is the song that we're talking about. It says, um, tatu chesu, um, tatu chesu, vain, togazazama, which means take the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior also. The time now, 20 minutes just before one on heart to heart with me, spong them off again with you up until three o'clock, give you the sounds of a zama, uh, no, no, no, no, "Dorozozama" I have to get it right. "Dorozozama" and the song "Tattoo-chee-su" and here's my family. You can talk to us 0-1-2-3-4-1-3-2-0-1-2-3-3-4-1-3-2-2. Oh, what's a telegram line? 0-8-2-6-5-7-2-7-2-9. 0-8-2-6-5-7-2-7-2-9. Cookie, congratulations, Darnie. Congratulations, Omar. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful, beautiful granddaughter with us, Amaya. May God bless you and the parents and to me, the Book of Numbers always, always be and minister to the newborn Amaya. Thank you so much for sharing. And yeah, my family, I'm not alone. I am with "Dorozozozama" and you can talk to us the lines I opened. Now, let me ask, there is another "Zama" matter when you're from "Kizet" and right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you're not related to any of the "Zama's" that thing? We still have another "Zama" in the previous years. Is it? Yeah. Okay. Well, yeah. I think it goes with the same name. Somehow, yeah, there must be a link somehow. If you trace it back, we'll match somewhere. So now, as we listen to the song, and the Lord said, "Start with this one." Yeah. Because this is where your ministry is. This is who you are. You've been called to minister in song, but to say, have a meaningful relationship with Christ, calling people to have a beautiful, meaningful relationship with Christ. And there are so many who do not know that they have to have that relationship. They think because I'm going to church, ah, clap. I'm a messenger. But God called you to this one. So with a coming album that you're currently busy with, you're working on, what kind of songs are these as well? But the one that was downloaded now is you were driving. Yeah. I know it's connected to that. Yeah, not. But with the other songs? Yeah, no. That one is making me. Yeah. Do you want to share it with us? No, not really. Yeah. Let me work on the melody properly. So that next time when you have me, I'm sure it will be sorted. Okay. So, but now, tell us about the other songs in there. Yeah. So we have like, mostly, like, song traditions, traditional songs, which are along the lines of tattoo Jesu. So in our, like, if I analyze my music now, I saw that there's people that are 18 years old that are listening to tattoo Jesu. Wow. That's 65 years old. Which is awesome. Yeah. So, so, so now, when I was looking at it, analysis, I was like, okay. So in this cap, we need to take care of these people. So, so 65 year olds are still here. There is the 20 year olds. It's a classic song. Yeah. Yeah. So it needs, it needs to take care of the whole, the whole population. So, so the songs are taking care of the young, the youth, the opening song. I can just see the youth of, of, of our country and the world taking that, that song. It's called the Spirit of God. Yeah. Like when Spirit of God hits you, you'll never be the same. So, so that one. Yeah. I can see the young people taking that. And then, then there's Holy, Holy, that's the name of the other song. I see the middle age, old people really going in reverence to God and declaring that he's holy. Yes. So, so that's, so it's a mixed bag of a whole lot of, a whole lot of songs. And then the title album song is "Come to Jesus". Yeah. And then there's a song then. Because that's all the message. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. So yeah, it's what we call "Come to Jesus". That's the message. Sure. I see you trying to send a message. Cookie, we love you. Thank you. Adele, Fonzel. Thank you so much. We can't read. I think, I don't know. The message is unsupported or something. Please try again. Yeah. And, Father, you can talk to us. 0-1-2-3-4-1-3-2-2-0-8-2-6-5-7-2-7-2-9. So, the message of coming to the Lord Jesus Christ, what is it that, let's say I get your song, I'm listening to your song or I get your album that's coming out on the feet of October. Yeah. Yeah. On the feet. That is the recording. The recording is having one. So, it will be a live DVD recording? Yes. Correct. Correct. So, you're recording everything DVD and CD. Yeah. Same time. On the same day. Same time. All right. We are very brief. All right. No, you got Jesus. No, you got Jesus. You got everything you need. You got everything you need. So, here's somebody shooting in and listening to your music or playing a CD. What is it? What's the message for somebody who doesn't know Christ who's listening to us right now that they're missing out on? Yeah, no. The relationship with the Father, the relationship that we have with God. And then, we get to that relationship through accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. And then, that's where everything starts. And then, that's where we feel the void because when we are outside of the source, that's when we get the social ills that we see in our world. So, and my belief is that through salvation, all of those social ills will be addressed. So, now you leave a guided life, a yielded life. Correct, correct. You're not living on your own. On your own, yeah. You have someone who knows everything, who's gone ahead of you, who knows behind you, knows in front of you. You just rely on on his guidance and I'm sure you've seen him in your life. Personally. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's amazing. So, so, that's, that's, that's the message that I like, you know, take, take Jesus. Yeah. But you will see for yourself. Yeah. And for somebody who's already in Christian Dom, who has accepted Jesus Christ's Lord and Savior. Yeah. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Yeah. So, that's, that's the other part of what we were discussing about, about songs that, so do you write songs that speak to people that come to Jesus? Yeah. Or do we have songs that speak to the people who are already in Jesus? Yeah. And then, then they are there. So you're balancing these games? Of course, there's, there's, there's people, like they've accepted Christ, yet they're not living the, the life that Christ has, has created for them. So, so now they're short-changing themselves. So now we are exposing them, like, if you're in Christ, this is what Christ would do for you. And then if you are not in Christ, come to Christ and then this is what Christ would do for you. So, so we will be balanced there. So we don't leave the people that are in, in the kingdom already. Wow. That's so awesome. Because somebody said to me, is it easy to be saved? And then I said to the person, yeah, I think it's dangerous without Jesus. Yeah. To be outside. That's, that's worse. Be inside. And then, yeah, you'll be okay. And so you, you say you worked with who in your album that's coming. So, so, yeah. So the guys that are, well, the team that I work with, it's the team that I serve with in church. So I, I felt that the people that they walked with me, they know my Jenny, they know that this was never in, in the books to start off with. So, so, so I am, I'm working with them from, from the worship team. The band is from the church. Um, they, I thought just the musicians, like, I mean, actually the, the singers. I thought the singers. So everybody. Yeah. Everyone. So the, the producer that we're working with is the music, the piano teacher that's found the gift. You are a gift. You are the gift. Yes. So, so yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm working with, with those guys. And then, yeah, we're trusting God to, to spread the message of Jesus across, across the world. And then people will be reconciled to God and then find the, the life that God had once for them. Yeah. And, and what I said to you, when we were off, is that some of the people that you're working with, they never thought, they never saw themselves recording anything. And this is an exposure to them to say you can do this. And some will discover that's where they belong. Yeah. Yeah. And so you are a gift to them. Which makes you a gift into the, the kingdom of the Lord. So it's happening on the 5th of October when? Yeah. So we, we are sitting at, at Great Light Church in Midland, on the 5th of October, we're recording Come to Jesus. So the, the music is called the Jesus Experience. Yeah. So that is the, the, the music that our, I'll be sending out is called Jesus Experience. And the album will be called Come to Jesus. We're starting at 5 o'clock in the evening at Great Light Church. Yeah. People must just come. Tickets are available on, on Quiket. They will see Jesus Experience. And then you'll, you'll find the event there. Wow. And thank you so much for coming through and sharing us with you. Awesome. Thanks to, to your church. Thanks to your family for also allowing you to come and, and share your music with us and share your gift with us. Yeah. Um, may the Lord keep, keeping you for somebody who's starting out. Um, you, you seem like you've had it easy. Um, I'm not so sure. Um, I'm not so sure. With any challenges on the way. Massive challenges. Like, uh, well, firstly, the finances. Yeah. Yeah. So I was telling them yesterday in, uh, in the rehearsal that I understand why a lot of people, they, they just do one song and then they just disappear because, uh, to find this, uh, someone said, uh, spreading the course, but it's expensive. Yeah. Okay. Now I know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, so that, that's one. And then other challenges, obviously, like, uh, finding family time. Yeah. Um, leaving the family, balancing. Yeah. Um, I'm also an employer for, for, for, for Kairos, charter accountants. So I have the employees that I need to, to make sure that they, they, they do get paid at the end of the month. So we do need to work as well. Yeah. And then we still need to record music. Yeah. It's a sacrificial life. Yeah. Like you sacrifice quite a Lord in that space. And that's, that's, um, but sure you can say that I have seen the Lord provide. Yes. I mean, your dad. Yeah. He's the one who goes up on the road. So yeah, no, so we are, we are taking care of. So we are good. That is like really awesome. All of the best for the feet. They're hoping to be talking to you very soon as well. Yeah. Um, and, uh, all of God's best as you're going forth, um, and doing exactly what he has called you to do. May he touch many lives through your ministry, may he heal and restore. Um, and I think for many musicians, what they desire to see is God at work. Yeah. When they minister God at work, even when people are putting in your song in their cars, that I felt God talking to me. I got healed from this. I got delivered from that. Yeah. And they never forget your music. So yeah, may the Lord keep keeping you and may he use you for his own glory to restore and, uh, yeah, to heal his people. So you chose also Dr. Toomey. Yeah. Earlier on, you said, Hey, he's a very busy man. Tackindo is very busy. I can't get him into studio. So with Dr. Toomey, uh, so, so, so Dr. We, we, there's an album that we're working together in, uh, producing, but, um, we are recording on the 28th. Um, uh, yeah. For bane le machangu. Yes. Yes. So so Dr is the producer there. Um, I'm one of the executive producers on that. So, so, yeah. So, yeah. So can we come as artists and say we need an executive producer? You can. Yeah. More than well. Awesome. So, so, yeah. So we're working with him on, on that song. Good man. Good man. So, yeah, good, good man. Worship of God. Wow. All right. So before I let you go. Yeah. You are an academic. Yeah. You're working. Yes. There is somebody who wants to break into the music industry. And their parents are like, yeah. And the person doesn't get it. Yeah. It's a school first. How important is that to also have your own, like you are working. You are in the academics and at the same time you're serving God. I'm important to it. I know it's massive man. I think it's very important. Education will always be always be critical for, for, for us. So I'll, I'll definitely recommend people that go, go for your studies. Yeah. Finish your studies. Have, have that certificate. And then, then the, the gift is there. Like I finished university in 2005. And only now the gift has been there only now mutilizing the gift. So, so prioritize your schooling, prioritize your, your, your, your academic, academic life. Complete that. And then while you are doing that, the God will guide you in terms of your next. And the other, the other part of your life, which is also, I believe a calling for what you do. Yes. Yes. And can also make sure that the spiritual side of things are taken care of. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So that's the best. You and the two, we say what's up group. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Was there, was there. So if we want your, to find out more about your album and your music, where do we go to? So, so I'm on Facebook as I was a summer. You can reach out to me there. I'm on Instagram as I was underscore JX. That's for the Jesus experience. Um, yeah. So that's, that's, that's, that's, I don't want to give my number on like. No. Yeah. But yeah, I know it can reach out to me there. And then yeah, we'll, we'll, we'll check today. Thank you so much for coming through. Thank you for having me. Bless you and all of God's best. Awesome. Thank you. So we play him out with the sounds of Dr. Doomey. I keep winning.
