[MUSIC PLAYING] It's the Lockdown Podcast Network, your team every day. Did I hear you're shopping for a car? Because I've been at it for ages. Such a time-suck, right? Not really. I bought it on Carvana, super convenient. Oh, then comes all the financing, research, am I right? Well, you can, but I got pre-qualified for a Carvana auto loan in, like, two minutes. Yeah, but then all the number crunching in terms, right? Nope, I saw real numbers as I shopped, found my dream car, and got it in a couple of days. Wait, like, you already have it? Yep. Mm. Go to Carvana.com to finance your car the convenient way. Well, we've got Friday night lights in the Big Ten, a couple of ranked teams, Illinois and Nebraska. We're excited about it. Are they legit? Plus, USC is a statement game in the big house. And can UCLA get it together for their big game against LSU? All that more going into a huge week for it's time for the Big Ten Squad. You're talking ball with the Big Ten Squad. From U.S. Cito, Ohio State from Michigan to Oregon, from Nebraska to Washington. It's the local expert that's a locked on podcast network, bringing you scoops, breakdowns, and the most comprehensive preview of the upcoming Big Ten weekend. No hurt feelings and thin skin allowed. Squad up, you're part of the Big Ten Squad. All right, welcome to the lockdown Big Ten Squad. I'm thrilled to be with you yet again this week. Sit back and join. Let's talk some football. Do a little trash talk and two as well as we get ready for week four. I'm Craig Sheeeman from locked on Big Ten. And this show today is brought to you by FanDuel. Now through September 22nd, all FanDuel customers can bet $5 and get a three week free trial of NFL Sunday ticket from YouTube and YouTube TV. Visit fanDuel.com/locked on to get yourself started. All right, our round table today, Matt Sheehan from locked on Spartans, Jay Stevens from locked on Buckeyes. Jacob Goens from locked on to Hoosiers, Spencer McLaughlin from locked on couch football and locked on Oregon. Zach Anderson, Yoxheimer from locked on UCLA and Roman Tomashoff from locked on Huskies. Now we got a big week coming up here in week four, but I gotta do this right now. There's a couple of things 'cause it involves three of you on the screen right now. If the Big Ten season were to end today, the Big Ten championship would be between Matt's Spartans and Jacobs in the Anohushers because of their pummeling of Zach's UCLA Bruins this past weekend. Gentlemen, go ahead. - Stop the season, stop it right now. Just cold stuff. We need another outbreak, a pandemic to break. Whatever's gonna stop the season done in its tracks and get that banner up in Spartan Stadium, by any means necessary. - That's a great way to start the show, Matt. Advocate for another global pandemic. Let's run it back, baby. - Do you know how desperate I have been the last few years? Are you kidding me? Like actually, I had a serious note, like for three and an hour, coach is gamefully employed. I have nothing but reasons to smile over here. So, you know what? - Spencer, that's what it takes for us, okay? That's what it takes for us to be good. This is another global pandemic. And if that's the case, it is what it is. But we've joked so long about not talking about Indiana football, but look, can we talk about the team that scored more points than anybody in the Big Ten and the team that currently sits on top of the Big Ten standings? - I think we should take at least a couple of minutes, Craig. I appreciate your time today. - Yeah, let it rip. I'm excited about it. That was a pretty, look, I've been around a few times. You all know I'm an Indiana grad. That was the best-looking football game I've ever seen. It was, it was competent. Both sides of the ball was incredible. Loved every minute of it. Sorry, Zach. I know that was a, we set the table for you. National TV, Rose Bowl, first game ever in the Big Ten and it didn't go so well for the Bruins. - Yeah, look good for the team in red. (laughing) - Credit for Zach for showing up. I gotta say, like when I pop up on the screen, I was like, you're a better man than I am. - You know, I was gonna be here, Zach. I'm gonna understand if you didn't know I was gonna be here. - Oh no, I knew, I figured, you know, if I'm talking smack, I mean, I guess I didn't talk too much, Mac. I knew better after watching week one UCLA football. But, you know, I came here and I figured I might as well lick my wounds. The Tigers will do that next week too. (laughing) - Oh geez, oh God. Give me the answers. I'll send you a care package. This is like a block of pieces. - You might need it, man. - It's gonna take a while. - Smiling every once in a while is astounding. - Yeah, the problem with that care package is just like the UCLA offense. It's gonna take a long time to deliver. - Yeah. - Has it delivered yet? I'm not sure Spencer. - No, that was my point. - And Jake, I haven't gotten there yet. - Jake, I don't want to get into hyperbole here, but the storyline developing into Big Ten is, you know, who's gonna be that second team to hang with Ohio State? We think it's Spencer's Oregon Ducks, but we don't know. I mean, at least they're finally starting to cover spreads after week three, the Trojans Penn State. I don't know, is Indiana in the bottom of that conversation? - I mean, at this point, yes. We're three weeks in, but how could you not be? I mean, until we're given a reason not to believe it, throw us up there. You may as well see and see if it sticks. Or want to know in the Big Ten, Maryland coming up. We do have Michigan that's in Bloomington, just want to keep everybody in mind on that one as well. Michigan State's on that schedule, not worrying about that. Sorry, man. I mean, look, it could be, it could be there at the end of the season. We'll just have to wait and see. - All right, we'll see for sure. Matt, the Spartan's on Matt. You didn't cover, but at half a point, you didn't cover last weekend against Prairie View. - We tried our best look. Could we miss an extra point in the first half? I'm not going to say calls were made, but who is to say? That's it. That's it. If I say anything else, there's going to be unmarked van in my door asking me some questions too. So close though, we looked good. It was never a doubt. And that's the first time in a long time that we've had a no doubt victory. So three and oh, coaches gainfully employed. We're smiling here and he's lancing there. There's nothing but happiness over here, man. - Now, Matt, you've got Boston College. They made a big splash early on with their win against Florida State, but that's kind of not a big deal now. So what's your assessment of this game this weekend? - And they still look really good against Mizzou on the road against an actual top 10 team, not like Florida State, the vanity top 25 team, but yeah, this is going to be the first Michigan State test that they have in the trenches. Maryland, not the most impressive unit in the trenches. Last week, Prairie View, A&M, no disrespect to the Panthers, not the strongest test either. So excited to see if this run defense that we have as top 20 in the nation right now is actually good enough to be top 20 or if they were just, you know, the beneficiaries of some down units. So tucked away on the ACC Network, they're trying to censor the greatness going on in East Lansing right now. Like there's going to be 16 people watching this game, but damn it, I will be one of 16 people and I cannot wait to see what is going on here. - Yeah, I don't even know if I get an ACC network anymore. - Probably not. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Jay, what did you guys do during your bye week as you get ready for Marshall this week? Everything's cush, man, everything's rolling. - Got the start and left guard back. That's all I really care about, everybody's healthy. That's really resting and improving and focusing on the fundamentals all week long when you get Donovan Jackson back for the first time all year. That's a definite boost of the offensive line that even with three newcomers there, not one of them is Spencer McLaughlin, former all of the SEC guy at Alabama been there this year. But the offensive line has really been a nice surprise in how well Ted or Shabola. - No relation, by the way, just so we're clear. - Thank you. - I will suck for a whole lot of time. - No, no, no, no relation. Okay. - Am I the only one that heard my name and not Seth's name? - Oh no. - I did. - I was like, oh, you want a fork for this. - I heard that. - I heard that. - Yeah, you did. - What I said. - I'm pretty sure you said my name and look, I'm humbled, but not only am I only 5.8 and a half, but I am only 165 pounds. I don't think I would work out very well playing center for the Buckeyes. But Jay, I appreciate the face. - Hey, man. - Hey, busy guys. - I see Chris's neighbor in front of me on the screen and it just popped out. It is definitely off with the former All-SCC guy at Alabama. But no, the offensive line is healthy. The team's going to be just fine. Really, this is another one of those warm-up or preseason games. Sorry, Matt. You guys are after Marvel, so. - Some peacock? No one's going to know. That's okay. - No, no, we will. We will. We will, no, we will talk about it on the show. We're just talking about how bad it'll be once again. - Matt, I think that's Roman's copium right now. The game is on peacock. Nobody noticed. - I was going to say special. - I haven't said much anything for a reason here. - No, I don't. (all laughing) - Spencer, you're going to go play college football. I mean, Washington can probably use you. I mean, they need anybody that can come. - No, they really don't need him. - Hey, hold on, hold on, hold on. The PFF grades came in. For my intramural flag football game the other way, zero yards allowed, two pass breakups. I think that I could easily take out one of those wazoo wide receivers that Washington couldn't stop last week. - No, see, that's the problem is they did too much of that. Sixteen penalties, 135 yards. Yeah, you're saying take out like you're using it in the wrong context here. - Well, Roman, the good news is you got Northwestern coming your way, so whoever's wearing purple, they'll be rooting for somebody in this game. That should be a nice bounce back for you. I think based on what I've seen. - I mean, you know, I've said I've just mentioned before. This is the reason-- - Roman's oozing with confidence over here. - This is what happens every single time. I truly, every single time I make some sort of prediction, this is what happens. Yeah, I certainly feel better about it. I can, I'm going to expect a bounce back week is what I'll say, but really if the penalties figure themselves out, which again, 16 for 135 yards is just an absolutely brutal showing. One of, you know, only, there are only four teams worse in terms of penalties. One of them being, you know, mad up over there. So there are not a lot of teams that are more penalized right now than Washington. That's the one thing I really need to see in this game. - All right. Zach, UCLA's got LSU. Obviously, we joked with kid, bought the tough time against Indiana, but LSU, I guess you can watch the USC game film from the first week of the season. Any thoughts on the bounce back this week for the Bruins? - I heard they're trying to call it Florida State and schedule a new game, but-- (laughing) - No, actually, I'll be in person to see that game in Baton Rouge, and I'm assuming the tailgate will be better than the actual game, but I think the biggest thing is, can the offense score two touchdowns in the game? That would be something they'd like to see. And is LSU's defense from 23 translating over to 24? I'm not sure that's the case, but I'd like to see some of that, you know, ugly 23 defense in this game. And maybe UCLA could score a few points and make this interesting for a couple quarters. - All right, Jacob, for the Hoosiers, they got Charlotte. I'm curious, they're gonna come back home. Like Indiana's got like the most beautiful 55,000 seat stadium, they rarely fill it. Will it be a big crowd of this game against Charlotte? And how many points will the Hoosiers score this week? - That's what we're expecting, and unlocked on Hoosiers and so many people are saying, look, this team deserves to have people there. They deserve to have the fans there. They've built this up early this season. So yes, people will show up, will it be a sellout? I don't know, we'll have to see. - Look, I got somebody in my YouTube comments who correctly predicted the UCLA score. He's saying 49 to get Charlotte's. We're gonna go with 49 and we'll see how that goes. - Here's a question. Who would be the most fraudulent for an O team? Michigan State or Indiana? - Michigan State. - Whoa, whoa, whoa. No, that's new road wins against power four teams. Thank you very much. We are not going to slander the Spartans here this early in the season, my God. - I think Matt makes a compelling-- - He's laying until I see Shay in a few weeks. I'm just gracious, come on. - Yeah, I think Matt makes a compelling point. - Now Spencer, you guys-- - Yeah, what a tough place. - Spencer, you guys finally covered against Oregon State. Now you have to-- - Hang the banner. Hang the banner. - Hang the banner. No, even you got the win covered. Now you got to weak off to relax and continue to fine, too. I know, seriously, I said, it looked like they solved two or their three biggest problems that they've had in the first two weeks. - Yeah, cut down on the penalties and fix the offensive line. And the offensive line was concerned number one. And look, they might have found a unit, but former Indiana offensive guard Matthew Bedford hasn't played yet. And he's apparently healthy enough to get back on the field, but I don't know if you make that change right now because the offensive line in the second half against Boise State and in the entire game against the bees, they found a rhythm with the unit that they have with out Bedford on the field. I don't know if you introduced another variable with the way they've been playing, but certainly I think the offensive line, however you look at it, is moving in the right direction. And beaten a former conference, but still in state rival. - It's not as easy as you think. - All right, we're going to continue with our panel. We're going to take a deeper dive in some of the other games going on to the Big Ten, including the Friday night lights with two ranked teams, Illinois and Nebraska going at it. And USC going into Michigan. It's not going to look like the Texas game two weeks ago. We have all that as the Big Ten squad continues. FanDuel is fantastic because it makes watching games more fun. I'll ask our panel here about some other games going on this weekend. First of all, we touched on it earlier with Roman and UCLA now taking on LSU. I'll ask some of the others. Matt, let's start with you. We've seen UCLA on the national scale. We've seen LSU nationally. This could be another tough challenge for the Bruins. That's one way to put it. Yeah, it just seems like such a nice person too. I hate to talk like this about his team, but even before the season, we did a segment where, OK, three teams, best bets for over-under-win totals. One of them was UCLA under three and a half. And so far, look, I don't have a lot of great takes. That's unfortunately turning out to be one of the fantastic ones. I just don't see any possible way that UCLA keeps it close up until the fourth quarter. I'm sorry, Zack. I know we're supposed to do this whole smack-talking thing and roughly each other's feathers, but God, that just doesn't sit right with me. Sorry, man. Well, we'll just wait until basketball season. OK, that'll be more evenly matched. That's fine. That's OK. Well, I'll get the heat cranked up for that one. We have to avenge our COVID tournament loss. But then, again, you guys did be drawn Howard in Michigan to get to the final four. So I smooth everything over as far as I'm concerned. Jacob and I, you always say, hey, wait until basketball season at IU. But, I mean, come on, it's the third week of September. We can't be saying that already. Don't give up yet. Come on. Don't give up yet. There is hope. I'm leaving you guys. Yeah, yeah. ESPN has you guys had, like, a 24% chance to make the playoffs, right? As far as I'm concerned, that's 84%. Let's go. Yeah, absolutely. Any percentage is a good percent. Absolutely. Jay, you have any thoughts on UCLA and LSU. Since you've had a bye week, you've had a chance to watch some other football around the country. True. This is one that I've been looking forward to watching to see how good LSU plays. I think it's going to be probably a beat-down. But Tiger Stadium is a tough place to play. If you were at night, I would probably say LSU by 50. But it's not at night. It's at 330 Eastern. So probably Tigers by 21. But it's not easy going down there. And I feel sorry for UCLA. I really do having to go lose to Indiana, then having to go to play LSU this weekend. It's not a good look. Not fun at all. Roman, any thoughts on that one? Oh, I mean, hey, Zach, Tiger Stadium is a great place to watch a game. I was down there a bunch of years ago when they upset Georgia. It was the first year of Joe Burrow. So fantastic place to watch a game. Yeah, the score, all that. That's not going to be pretty. So enjoy the food. Enjoy everything else about the day. Accept the football. Yeah, Jacob, how about you? What are your thoughts? I mean, is there a ditto button, a mirror, somewhere? I don't know. I mean, it's just not going to be pretty. Look, LSU had to escape against South Carolina, who I think is probably better than people gave them credit for. I think officials helped out that a little bit there as well. But LSU is still a good football team. Brian Kelly is still a good football coach. Are they playoff good? No, probably not. But unfortunately for our boys' act, they're good enough to beat UCLA, and they'll have their way on Saturday. Let's go round, Robin, on the Friday night game, Nebraska and Illinois. Both teams in the top 25. And Matt, I'll start with you. These are two legit teams, right? Absolutely, yeah. And Nebraska, I don't know how they have like the Ohio State and the Michigan schedule, but they seemingly start with nine straight home games. But they have done it that here we are again at Nebraska. So yeah, I think that they're going to roll by at least 10 points. Keep the score low for Illinois because, you know, I thought that Nebraska defense would be like good this year. But my God, especially at home, they have looked dominant. Black shirts back, perhaps. But yeah, I'm going to go Huskers 24, a line on I-14. Jay, how about you? I'm right there with him. I think that this Nebraska team with the right coach, when they have it right now, was exactly what they should have been a couple of years ago. Also, you get a quarterback. You get a good quarterback. Now, he's young and experienced. But he's able to do some things early on this year in his career to build some confidence. We'll be able to see that confidence in full display on Friday night. Also, the Nebraska fans are crazy. I mean, they were showing up, selling out when they were bad. So I do think that'll be a fun atmosphere to watch all Friday night in. I got Nebraska in this one. All right, Zach, what do you say? I mean, sensing a trend here. But as much as Illinois has done well to start the season, I'm feeling Nebraska as well. In a close one, but I think the Huskers are going to do a good thing this Friday night. Nobody's a Luke Altmeyer fan here in Brett Bielum as defense. How about you, Roman? No, I got to continue on the Nebraska side of things. That's a bad thing. Very smart man. I've been really, really impressed by that defense. And on the other side, though, the one thing we need to do is we need to stop at this patch of my home's cosplay. We've done Iowa. Really, really talented quarterback. I am so over all of this. Like we need to stop it now, please. And like the fact that he's saying like, oh, I'm doing this unintentionally. No, you're not. Let's let's just stop with that immediately. Please. I think that's a fair wise comment. All right, Jacob, is it a sweep? Are we going to Nebraska Friday night? Well, look, this season's already off to a wacky start. Things are a little bit different, right? Indiana's three and oh, we're playing well. So you know what, in the spirit of being different, in the spirit of the lockdown Big Ten squad show, being a little crazy, I'll take Illinois. Do I have a legitimate reason? Absolutely not. Just to be different, I'll take Illinois. And when I'm right, I'll claim it when I'm wrong. You just won't hear from me and that's okay. All right, that's fair enough. Love that. That's a great straight. All right. There's a big nationally televised game in the middle of Saturday afternoon. The USC Trojans, their first Big Ten game, going into the big house, taking on Michigan. Michigan is not what Michigan was. USC looks pretty good. Is this going to be a repeat of the Texas game two weeks ago, where the visiting team comes in, gets up big, and Michigan just doesn't have the firepower to catch up. I'll start with you, Matt. Yeah, that's what I'm feeling unless USC wants to have Miller Moss their left hand and just to kind of neutralize the quarterback play between the two teams. Yeah, I felt out of prediction. I am baffled and feel free anyone to answer this question. But why did Sharon Moore announce that they are changing the starting quarterback? Like why let Dan Lin, one of the greatest offensive coordinators in the nation, get a five full day heads up that, hey, we are drastically changing the style of quarterback. Does anyone have an answer? Because to me, that just seems like you're just shooting yourself in the foot right there. And he's also a guy who's coaching. We've got a contract. So I mean, something there was a little weird. Is that important? Is that a thing people do often? Or is that just another basically it is? Like they'll just claim it's normal. OK, gotcha. And yes, it is shocking enough. That is something that people need. I just didn't know if like Sharon Moore was just like being like held hostage or something and couldn't leave the room until he was very honest about the quarterback situation. But that just seemed like free information that I would not give USC when you're already a touchdown underdog in behind the eight ball. So I'm going to hope and guess that USC wins this game. And I'm going to be happy again for another Saturday, guys. This is great. I've been happy for like what three Saturdays now? This is awesome. Especially when it seems like it's Sharon Moore's style to wait and be coy. And I mean, he announced Warren was starting right before it kicked off from the Fresno State game. So strange, so strange. Yeah, Jay, you must be loving this. Watching Michigan just circle the drain apparently. Oh, loving it. That's a great way to describe it. And you're going to tell me that the quarterback is a guy that can't throw the ball. Like I literally told my friends are people are Michigan fans ready to watch a run, a run only offense because they don't let them throw the ball. Like I don't understand the decision to not only announce it, but to go this route because you're basically saying we're one dimensional and I wanted to mention is it elite? No, so we got to meet you with defense. But our defense might be on the field for 40 plus minutes. So I'm not really sure exactly what's going to happen here. I got USC in this one. I do think it'll be-- this one could be worse than the Texas game because USC is already seeing what Michigan is this year. So they have a blueprint and film to see and realize, hey, we do this. We win. Zach, you got to make your debut for UCLA on national TV. And now USC is going to do the same thing. A national televised game, 330 Eastern gets Michigan. How do you see this thing coming out? I'm not necessarily going to be different from who's going to win here, but I do disagree with Jay. I think Michigan, they've already got smacked, right? They got smacked and punched in the face by Texas. I think Texas is still a little better than USC. And USC's defense is not as dreadful as it was a year before, but I don't think Michigan's going to lie down and get their butt kicked. Once again, will USC win? Probably. But I don't think it's going to be an absolute destroy game like it was a couple of weeks ago. I think Michigan puts up a fight, but USC clearly a little better. They got a quarterback who can throw. They can do more facets well than Michigan can. I think Michigan will play a bit better defensively in this game to keep him closer before the Trojans pull away late. Roman, you guys with the Huskies can scout this out. You got Michigan in a rematch of a national championship game coming up around the corner. Yeah, you know, I bet on Mason Graham and the defensive line once. And I still, while I respect their talent, I can't do it again because, yeah, that quarterback situation is just a mess. And you know, in a few weeks, we'll see how it looks when they come out here to Seattle. But until then, I, as much as it pains me to say it, yeah, I have to roll the Trojans here. I've, yeah, I really, it truly makes me sick. Talk about how good they look on both sides of ball right now. I got it. Jacob, I don't work on this one. Yeah, no difference maker here, gentlemen. I, you know, I'll be contrarian on this one in Take Michigan. Do it. Come on. No, I'm with Zach, though. I do think Michigan keeps it closer than people think. And look, I'm just happy for Jay that Ohio State finally has a chance to be Michigan this year because Michigan's not a good team. I'm just here. It's a joke. There you go. Wow. Did I hear you're shopping for a car because I've been at it for ages. Such a time suck, right? Not really. I bought it on Carvana. Super convenient. Oh, then comes all the financing research, am I right? Well, you can, but I got pre-qualified for a Carvana auto loan in like two minutes. Yeah, but then all the number crunching in terms, right? Nope, I saw real numbers as I shopped, found my dream car, and got it in a couple of days. Wait, like you already have it? Yup. Go to Carvana.com to finance your car the convenient way. All right, down to three. It's like Agatha Christie, then there were three. The strongest teams left. Let's go, baby. That's right. That's right. The flagbearers of the Big Ten. The basketball schools unite. Yes. Let's go. Let's talk round ball, baby. Let's do a whole bit of fashion. Let's do a curveball and talk all basketball. That's what, that's what Jake threw back in in our crossover. I love it. This is almost, we got three of the final four right here. Let's go. Zach, I have a stroke. Can we do this during basketball season, Craig, because this would be fun. I don't know. We'll see what happens. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Let's, we're still rolling. We'll keep it a little shorter here, and we'll get you on your way. I appreciate it. All right. Three, two, one. As we continue now with the lockdown Big Ten squad, we are left with Matt Sheehan from lockdown Spartans. Zach Anderson, Yoxheimer from lockdown, UCLA. And Jacob Goens from lockdown Hoosiers, and we just as dawned on us. This is a good basketball segment right here. Those three teams of the final four, maybe this year, right here. How about that? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, we just, look, we scared off Ohio State. We scared off Oregon. We've scared off all the people that don't really want to be here. So, yeah, we can talk basketball. That's okay. I know there's more football, but we're always open to basketball in Bloomington, Craig. You know that. Yeah, Coach Woody. We got Tom Izzo. I mean, you guys, what are your basketball coaches doing right now? Are they hanging out in the press box of a football game or, because we got, yeah, we got a legitimate practice starting in a couple of weeks, right? I know our guys recruiting. I don't even know if he likes his family. That man is always on the road even the day after the season ends, like he is at some random high school gym in Indiana just talking to a teenager or his family or his coach. So he's probably somewhere out on the road, not anywhere close to his own home. He is a dog. Yeah. That's great. All right, guys. Yeah. We'll have to do this. Well, final thoughts though for football going into this weekend. Some teams are playing conference games. Some are wrapping up the non-conference schedule. I touched on this at the beginning of this podcast, but I would like to go around with you here. Look, it does appear to be Ohio State and everybody else. I did think it was going to be Oregon, you know, they kind of gave me some question marks the first two games, although I think they got things right, but maybe you have one or two teams that you think are going to be the ones that compete for Ohio State here. Matt, I'll start with you. Who's got the inside track to maybe compete with Ohio State? Yeah. I mean, I feel like we just forgotten about Penn State just because they had that weird early by week, you know, but I very well could see them making it happen. I think, you know, almost in a transverse property sort of way, you saw Kansas kind of falter against Illinois and that's not to say Illinois is a bad team, but is Kansas shaky because they've lost their offensive coordinator to well, Penn State, maybe the magic is just with that guy. So if he can make Drew Allen right, we already know the defense is going to be strong enough. Yeah, maybe that is just going to be the case. We're not going to get more definitive answers this week against Kent State unless something horrible happens against the Golden Flashes. But yeah, I feel like Penn State is really going to have a say here at the end of the season. Zach, how about you? I mean, I think well, is it last week or the week before we were talking about who that second best team in the Big Ten is and I felt bad. I didn't bring up Nebraska. It's a lot to ask out of a true freshman quarterback. They've of course got the fan base that they've needed some love on this late locked on Big Ten squad and they're they're good. I think they're good. You know, will they have a true freshman quarterback game lump? I think that is coming when I'm not sure because that happens whenever a true freshman quarterback plays like one. But if he is really good, minimizes his mistakes, Dylan Rayola, regardless of the comparisons to Pat Mahomes or the lookalikes, it doesn't matter. At the end of the day, our results and him playing much more mature than his years are, I think Nebraska is that team that can surprise. Sorry to Indiana. All right, Jacob, find a word who's who's making that run to catch up to the top. As much as I want to say Indiana, it's too early to tell it is. I like the Nebraska answer. I believe that's what I had said a couple of weeks ago when we talked about this the first time. But guys, I fear that in the Big Ten, it might be Ohio State and everybody else because what happens if yeah, Indiana flames out. What happens if Penn State flames out because I'm not, I'm not as high on them as matters. What happens if Nebraska does Nebraska things, right? USC does you? I mean, what happens if this conference eats itself alive? Then in terms of the college football playoff, we're in trouble. And so I hope that doesn't happen. I'll take USC or Nebraska until one of them does what historically they like to do, which is crumble under their own feet. I'll take USC for now, just until something else happens. And of course, until Indiana rises to the power and takes over the world. But I'll tell you it's not Purdue. I can confidently tell you that. Yeah, yeah. Let's go. There we go. No, that's a great point though. Like are we going to ACC ourselves and just cannibalize ourselves? We're just going to be in Miami and then a bunch of eight and four teams at the end of the season over there? Like when you put it like that, I can see everyone cratering. But Jacob, like we're going to talk up to Hoosiers right now. Let's say everyone else, just, you know, craters, cannibalizes themselves. The rest of the season for you guys is not horrible. Like is Charlotte, Maryland, both at home at Northwestern, Nebraska, Washington at home at Michigan State. That's right. Right for that one. Then Michigan at home, which, like I'm looking at the projections right now on K4Rains.com, coin flip game, Ohio State, again, we'll just skip right over that. But then home against Purdue, there is a world where you are a one boss team and that could very well get you in to Lucas soil stadium. So it. Right. So we're like, I feel like I'm going to pass out right now, just talking like this. Like if you talked like this before the season, you would have been brought to a hospital, but now seen it actually happen on the road to find win over UCLA, who's not great, but it's a road win across the country. Like I, I don't think that's like crazy with the Capitol seat to talk Indiana and the big 10 championship. Yeah. I had just exploded, but I love hearing it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, Iowa and Rutgers in the same moat schedule, not that tough. They're going to rack up a lot of wins. So guys, you guys, go ahead and tell our audience, follow all these guys. They do a great job for you and their teams every day. So subscribe for your favorite big tent team and we'll be covering your favorite team every day throughout the season.
