It was August 6, 1988, when 22-year-old Jane Boroski, seven months pregnant, was one her way back from a county fair in Keene, New Hampshire. She decided to stop at a convenience store in West Swanzey to buy a drink but it was closed. So she got something from a vending machine. When Ms. Boroski got back to her car she noticed a Jeep Wagoneer had parked next to her.
