Your God Is Too Small!
It's an interesting story to say the least. A man finds himself in the Mediterranean Sea when a sea creature of some kind, often described as a whale, swallows him. The poor man spends three days inside the fish or whale before being deposited on the shore of said sea and trekking about 400 miles to Nineveh, what today is Mosul in Iraq. Did he ever strike you a strange that a whale swallowed a man and then regurgitated him? Well, Jesus believed the whole story. Whole nine yards. He referenced Jonah's adventure a couple of times in the New Testament. The Bible says the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. If you can't believe that God can do that, the problem isn't that the story is too fantastic. The problem is that your God is too small. Can God do such a thing? Of course he can.
