There we go. Jim. Hey, here we are brother. A little different. A little different. We are together. Folks, we are at Warrior Weekend for the Warrior Shield Foundation. So, from the Zero Foundation to help close the program. Yeah, take care of all this Vats. We are here in line. We're going to have some other interviews. We're going to be here for a while. We'll be here all weekend, tomorrow as well. Some live episodes, two live shows. Today we do know that two interviews for Jonathan Chance, we're coming up. And then we're going to have the little bikes. The bike's right. We're going to hear the sound check. We're going to hear music. We're going to hear music behind us because Ryan Weaver is a headline. We're going to have the live interview today and tomorrow as well. We've got a whole bunch going on Jim. So, stay tuned. Tune in. Join us. We are live here. Beautiful Orlando, Florida. Cabros and Santa. It's unbelievable. Stay tuned for all that week. I don't care. [Music] Two voices, rage, light against the tide. Sister, breakthrough, fake, lost in the crowd. Truth has deep bearing in the noise. Left hand deals, last kiss. I hold the choice for that rage. Flings in the night. No more change. Break free from the fight. As clear now, vision in the dark. We stand up, never bow to the mark. We are the storm. We are the fight. Two guys, one, two, three, and light. No more lies, no more games. Scared all the truth, break the chains. They spin and scream push-pots in the dark. Yet we prize, never crumble in the park. They are faces with colors bright. Munch your head in the dead of night. Shatter dreams won't silence us now. Left and right next poison in the fowl. Fuck we see through. We feel the beat. Folks, we are back. Those who sponsor have helped with Warrior Shield Foundation. Also sponsor our podcast. We will tell you what, amazing, incredible experience. Really, truly American Patriots doing their part. Let's ask real quick, for everybody who is watching and listening. Especially watching. Please comment if you can hear us. Yeah, and if you can hear it like the intro and all that, we'll just make it sure there's a lot of events and we're going to hear things. There's Ryan, he's coming up later, we're going to get a little doubt about it. He's walking by here. He comes now. Get out of here. I'm ready to see you. I'm going to take your business with you. All right. Thank you. I appreciate it. That is the headliner folks. That's right. Later, doing sound checks, big concerts tonight. People walking by somebody with a taste of you. He needs to come over. Yeah. A lot going on, folks. Before we're going to talk about first while I was quick here. A pair of and locked and loaded with coffee. Thank you, honey. Oh, did they comment? Oh, really? Yeah. The little red 16. Oh, I know. Everything's good. They can hear us. Hey, guys, barely hear you. What? Okay. I'm going to turn up our microphone. We turn my light down because that was too loud. That's fine. Yeah, we got this new setup. Yeah, you get a lot of back. That's why we wanted to turn it down. So, Mike and Lori, if you can tell us, can you hear us now? Is it too loud? Is it too loud? It's okay. Look, it's a minute. Yeah, I will. Radio sign up. I'll tell you, while we're doing it, comment whether we can have a background. What's happening? We're going to hear, of course, we're going to have to take a picture. Definitely, we're going to have to take a picture. Also, we're going to have to take a picture. Hopefully, we'll make our new signs. Yeah, there we go. There we go. Okay, let us know if we appreciate it. Grid is defined as firmness of character, unyielding courage in the face of hardship or danger. At Grid Gear Apparel, we honor all military, police, fire, public service, and patriotic Americans, both men and women, regardless of color, creed, or religion. Our brand represents the love and freedom for our country, the heroism of all our men and women, and the principles of what this wonderful country was built on. Our goal is to regenerate the sense of patriotism and to spark the American pride within us, to stand together in the toughest times and become victorious, to preserve all our freedoms, to honor our flag, and to respect the men and women who have fought and died for us to have these freedoms. Wear our brand with pride, with a sense of patriotism, and as a statement for the love of our country. Whether you're military, public, official, or civilian, our brand is for you. Together, we stand as Americans. Okay, folks, again, I'm a team. I'm a governor of the background. I was really alive with that. If you can hear us or they can the background, let us know. If we turn the mics up too much, we'll pick up a lot of them. Especially when they do the sound. Correct. But again, folks, you just saw that it was brick there. I can look, please go support the veteran, support it. You get 10% of your personal worth. Everything over 100 is going to be fine. Appreciate it. Win, win, win. Well, if we could get shared attention, maybe she wants to come over and say hi. She's still in registration right now. Sharing is, uh, right there. Hold her, excuse me, oh, brick here. We'll get them. We're off the cuff line. So they, you know, they're all, all bets are off. All bets are off. But I do want to play the reason why we're here again. Yeah, we're going to shoot. Um, Jim, I'm going to go back to you. We'll be right back in the end of the interview. [Music] Warrior Shield Foundation is here to unite, honor, and provide support for veterans, first responders, and GoldStar family members. The foundation will enable them to find the help they need through direct assistance, or by connecting them with our shared vision network. Using data-driven models, we provide solutions that make a long-lasting difference. We, along with our partners, are dedicated to bringing together like-minded groups and individuals who have committed to making a difference in the lives of our hard-working everyday heroes. We bridge the gap by connecting warriors or their families with the assistance they deserve, and require such as service dogs, wheelchairs, counseling, scholarships, and team-building retreats to name a few. You can help right now to make a difference for those who have helped and protected us all. Warrior Shield Foundation, selflessly doing for those who need it most. [Music] Books! We're disappointed right now. We are. We are. We are. Books. You just aren't there. It's Warrior Shield. If you are in this surrounding area, if you think of your group, then there are still tickets available for clients in this series. They train both on my school train, by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by, and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by and by, and they were the most important thing to do. They were the most important thing to do. They also, they just enter all the way to a process. Who's this guy? Come on up. You could that would be amazing. You tried to get you tried to get sheriff's attention. So we're kind of doing a telephone today and a little bit tomorrow, especially tomorrow. We might need to be recording some interviews because it's just going to be hard to be able to do this time. Yep, because if they're on the motor cycle right tomorrow, it's kind of like that, but you know, the chance will be here to tell us everything that's going on this weekend. It's great. It's great. It's been great. Yeah, so before Rachel came over, we were talking about how we're getting this. But they won't just have to, but specifically. So they're going to give them a code, say see them later, give them a family, say see them later. They take them, they call them, they help, get them on their own, they give them a call, and they mention them in this process, whether it's ecological health or drug addiction, alcohol or anything. They give them the resources and this is all the time. Yeah, this is all stuff. So folks, please go out here. If you could just share with everybody, go on your Facebook page and share that. Oh, look here, guys, this is, this is a lot of pressure. Yeah. Did you mind? He's making two. Oh, no, no. I don't mind. Yeah, maybe. Yeah, two thirty. Yeah, I never come out. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Carol had to have to worry about it. I mean, he's like a professional. This is, this will be your mic. Unfortunately, you have to hold it. Yeah, I just got, I'm hearing this on, but they're all. Oh, that hurts. I'm not far from you. It's so funny when you get to be muted. Oh, no, no. The classes, I'm all panoramic. You need heroin. Let's introduce to our interview. Oh, God, there I am. Yeah, you're right there. Yeah, you're there. It's just anybody. It's a conversation. Sorry, Chance, we got here. Yeah, you're right. So please. Yeah. I'm sorry. Oh, I know, Chance. Thanks, y'all. Get me into it. Okay. No, me help this one. Yeah, well, you just need to be good for something. You want me to introduce yourself? Hi, I'm Karen Bingham. I am the mother of Mark Bingham, who was one of the passengers on Collect 93. And he was one of the four and tried to get into a hospital day. No, no, that's what we're doing. I was going to work very, very well. What are you doing? I just want to listen to y'all. I'm going to say something. I'm going to show you what's coming up here for a little bit more. I'm going to show you what's coming up here for a little bit. No, I had talked to him two days prior, and he had this excited. He had opened up the second office in New York, I think. So we had one of the services started in New York, and he said, "I'm going to be waiting. Come on." And I'm going to be fine, but I said, "I'm just going to be waiting." And I'm like, "Okay." But everyone, you're a kid. I know, that's true. My husband was a phone, and he called me, and he said, "Where is it?" And you've got to remember, this is one of my years ago. We didn't have internet and all this stuff like that. Now, 20-something, 20-something. I lost a few years. 24 years. Yeah, so anyway, he said, "This is what he says." "Do you know what's going on in New York?" I didn't forget an office. We don't have meetings. And he said, "Well, where is my office?" And I said, "I'm not really sure." But I went in my secretary to try and call him, and, "Oh, hey, do you?" "Yeah, okay." And we were getting him. And he always answered him. "I got in the secretary's call." And so, since then, he says, "Go on." "I got a number of three and a four-year-old." "No one ever says anything." "No one ever says anything." "Tell her to be a number." And that's been what happened when we came home. Sisters, ow, so she's right now in New York. And he had the whole little book with all the notes. So, where he was going and wherever. So, I went over there, and he called me, "Frened to his." It's a five-call, and he was a little into the fire. And he got over to the friend. He, the friend called him, and Jerry, is going to be a four-year-old. So, we had two of them. But then, that's how we found out. And that did what happened. He went out hard with his friends. And he called us right in the office. And he just... He was 31. He was 31. And he was excited. And I understand why. And if you ever watched the movie, he's the last one to get on the plane. He's the last one to running in, because the boy was never on the plane. He's getting the car to go to an airplane, which you see from the backseat. That's just how he was. But he was the last person to get on the plane. That's a little story about how we felt. That's a little story about how we felt. From there. You don't... You walk around them. The first I told them. And he was fine. I mean, he had an equal heart after that. We had some problems. He was... Do you know that he just walked around and you were like... You know, we're not... The only thing I think that's safe is right now. It was... United. United. They got... They stayed home for... They didn't know... No, they didn't know... They would say to me, "Just leave it though, but right here I'm not going to help them." So what they did, they went around and had one person have a family. So that one person was... And then... Here we wondered if it depends on... And I said, "I'm not going to help." I'm confused. So they said, "We'll get you..." "We'll drive you off..." "We're going to go home and update you." And I just got to give this up. So they took us to Orlando. Nobody was in that airport. We flew out of Orlando today. Two days after. Four or five people were on that flight. And then they kicked us out. And some was like, "Leave it or not." I was born 30 miles from where they're playing at. Oh, you're kidding. No. It just... Everything just kind of goes together. As soon as I said, "Changeville." Yeah. I was born 30 miles from there. The veterans have been getting from my family and from some of that. So my two of my cousins were first responders. Out of the crash. I didn't know. They didn't know. They were, you know, they wouldn't call me. You know. But, you know, they finally got to me afterwards and had a copy of what was going on. But it was just a mix match. You just kind of... I think it was over a year before we actually got our stuff together. Because it was... You don't know what you're doing. And they didn't. I would not want anybody in the world to... Yeah. Absolutely. If they turn this on the mics, it's like people are hearing this. Oh, really? I don't honestly know how to fix that. Oh, okay. I don't know. I don't either yet. So, but... Anyways, we'll fix it. You turned off my computer, please. Yes. But here's feedback. Yeah, there might be a little bit more feedback. Okay. Sorry. Have you been to the site since... Yes. Yes. I was just up there in May. Oh, perfect. Because his work day is a day. Yeah. And I decided to go there and then... Sorry. Anyway. I left my husband's hands just open up. Did you? Because it was in this world that he wanted to have his ass. But where do... Our site is? Only family members came down here. So, we have a game in the world. Only family members can go in. Yeah. So, even the people that work there cannot go in and ask you, you know, they can go in in the world. Yeah. Yeah. We say no. They can go in the world. Yeah. So, like if we went to the site, we... You would not be able to go to the restaurant or to be able to go to everything else. You know, in New Zealand. And see what along with the names and everything. You can't go to the actual restaurant unless you were the family member. That's a thing. Yeah. It's a secret. Yeah. It's a secret. Yeah. Yeah. And that's how we... You know, my husband was actually on this. And maybe that's a secret. How they were going to build it. So, he was very, very involved. He was returning to the restaurant. Yeah. You know, he was very, very involved. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. It's beautiful. It's actually... People that go in there, they fall from there. It's so serene. When you turn in the fence, the gate. Yeah. Something comes out. And it's a very calming, quiet. It's so scary. Yeah. It's very. And we feel it. Yeah. And people have told me they cry when they come in. It's just beautiful. It's just a mouthpiece. And it's excellent. Yeah. I mean, in all the places, I think all of them were nicer than they were. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then they go on. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's just... Yeah. It's tough. I mean, I just... Everybody remembers. Yeah. Yeah. I remember everything. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's strange. That whole day, for a whole week, it's kind of... It's good. Yeah. It's just, you know, exactly when we got on the airplane, it was there. Yeah. And then, we had to point to... Yeah. Okay. Yeah. We had to point to... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They've come. They've come. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then they brought us in by buses and they kept building up. Wow. Nobody did. Nobody did. They brought us in a back wire and an M and we stayed there for... ...and we did public services and... ...and the rest of the village came out to eat family. Yeah. Maybe it was easier to join a family. So, yeah. So, yeah. So, each family went and sent the bus home. There was a bus home. So, it wasn't a bus home. Sure. Sure. But... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's right. You still had to have a memorial, please. Yeah. And we don't think it is. Don't have a memorial. Yeah. Yeah. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There's no real smoke. Yeah. [ Inaudible ] >> So that was one of them. So it's just -- >> Wow. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> It's been -- it's never lived in something like this. So after well, Vice does his 75 minutes set is going to be freaking awesome. Can not wait. He's going to put on that big one on the vehicle. Oh, he's shaking his head. He's doing it. He's doing it nice. Yeah, it's going to be all right. Well, that's all. After well wraps up, we're going to walk on stage. Mr. Ryan Weaver, and Ryan's got an awesome story to tell. Two times we'll start in on that. Just awesome. So please, I encourage you, this, this is being done tonight. 100% of the proceeds, right? It's going to our almost veterans, right? So no veterans should freeze the death on America. I mean, it should be veterans prior to our refugees. Yes. And we all know in the news and the headlines, we see that there are refugees staying in five started. We do see some of these cities. We have our veterans are sleeping on the site. So the organization will raise funds for this year. It's called the S.U. mission to get from Ohio. You guys saw the big truck that we should have. You got to buy a ticket for the concert. So we're trying to do sound checks going on. All right. So we're raising money for the sub-sear mission. They drove all the way down here, the truck is in there. And 100% of this entire weekend is going to go to help on those veterans. And I cannot thank you to enough. Oh, no, our honor to be here. You do not get to ask me anything else. Because at this point, I want to get up out of the chair and I want to bring over my good friend. Hey, Paul, I wanted to see them. Let's bring on. Let's bring them on. Thanks, brother. I appreciate it. Get your tickets. Come on down. Get your tickets. Make sure. Here we are. Oh, folks, let me do for what? And I don't know. You got room there. Yes, sir. Good to meet you. You've already met Jim when I was not here, but we are coming out. Nice to meet you. My daughter's good to meet you. My daughter's going to be absolutely frustrated. I'm not here sitting next to you. I will, I will. [INAUDIBLE] Oh, that's great. We're having an idea. PLAYING] Warrior Shield Foundation is here to unite, honor, and provide support for veterans, first responders, and Gold Star family members. [MUSIC PLAYING] I know it's true. We are back now. Rich is over there here with Colonel Gatchin. I don't care. Come on in. Yeah. When Peter Berg asked you for the role, did you say yes right away, or did you have to think about it, or what? Rich, you want to sit in for a minute? I said yes. I literally said yes right away. But then I was like, I started going out. I didn't have time to do this. And they kept trying to get me to go out to Hollywood to do a screen test. Oh, wow. And I wouldn't do it. I kept when I was busy. I just never found the good reason. I kept finding excuses not to go out there. So Peter Berg flies to Washington and asked me to meet him of all places at Red Skin Park, where the wind washes played. And they asked me to read out of the script. And so I read out the script. It was nothing I had to memorize. They just had to read lines and, you know, anybody can read lines. So I read the lines. He goes, it goes, all right, you'll work. And I was like, oh, that's a shit. I was like, oh, yeah, you could say. Yeah, so I was like, and then. In all honesty, I was like, I want to do this. So I went to my boss, who, and so my boss at the time was a Brigadier General Gary Chief. And I went to my boss and I, and I told him how all this happened, because I was very concerned about how this will look like I didn't go hunting for this. I didn't go looking for this and I didn't want anybody thinking this is. This was about me. But I also said, hey, I'd like to give it a try. And so, and I said, so what I would like you to do is get the armies, the leadership of the army to bless off on me participating in this. Okay. So, so he ran it up the flagpole and went into the Pentagon. And the funny thing was at the time, my role was written to be a Marine officer. And so, you know, Peter Bird would call me and said, have you gotten approved yet? I'm like, oh, and I didn't want to bug my boss every once in a while. I asked him, he goes. And one time when I was on the phone with him, he says, Greg, they want you to play a Marine. And I said, yeah, that's the way the role is written. So the next time I talk to Pete, I said, I said, I wonder, I said, would you have any trouble making my role an army guy? Because no, no problem done. So I tell my boss, you don't cheat. I said, hey, they made my part on an army guy. And then like two days later, they said, okay, so they, so they didn't want me playing them already. Well, of course. So anyway, I, yeah. And so, literally, I had taken over my duties as the Director of Army Wounded Warrior Program in June of 2010. I started filming battleship in August of 2010. And so I had to take leave to build film. So I would literally go to Hawaii. I went to Hawaii for a look as a little, I flew there one day, I filmed the next day, I flew home the next day. Wow, that's my first day of filming. And eventually, I would, I would spend, you know, I had other times I went back, but we did a lot of the filming in Baton Rouge. Yeah. Oh, did you? Oh, that's where it was. Okay. And, and if you remember the first scene where I'm introducing the movie, we actually get this Center of Intrepidance, San Antonio. Wow, really? Yeah. So, so it's a big, it's a big project. And it's a big, you know, it's really incredible production. Did you, did you get any other offers and not do it? I mean, has there been any like, hey, well, I have, so the next thing I did was, I did 10 episodes of this, this kid's series called his kids show. It's on, it falls under the, uh, education TV. Yeah, Saturday morning. Yeah. It was called the inspectors. Oh, okay. And I did 10 episodes of that. And then I did one scene in a movie called a Journal for Jordan, which is based on the true story that Denzel Washington directed. Oh, wow. I've never heard of that. Yeah. It's called a journal for Jordan. Michael, Michael Jordan. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he's the lead. Oh, and okay. Wow. And, uh, they drop it. Yeah. Yeah. We're at Michael Jordan, Denzel Washington. Yeah, I really like this. Last year. Yeah, Vince. We got that. I, I, um, I did two episodes of NCIS Los Angeles. Oh, that's right. I did. Yep. That's right. Yeah. Right. Yeah. So those are my, those are my acting credits. Yeah. You know, I've done document, you know, I've been part of document for sure stuff like that. Sure. That doesn't play. Yeah. Oh, wow. Wow. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That was you. Yeah. Yeah. We love that. We really do. Yeah. Yeah. I know I tell everybody, go like, how many black guys do we miss them both? Yeah. Yeah. Well, thank you. Yeah. It's crazy. That was the best one. They all the veterans come out and like, yeah, that was cool. Yeah. That wasn't good stuff worthy. That wasn't good stuff worthy. Yeah, it was for sure. Oh, there you go. Look at that. You can't go anywhere. Okay. Yeah. I know. I'm just a, I'm a veteran. I'm just a regular guy, man. Yeah. Hang out with cool. Hang out with regular people. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's amazing. Yep. He's got fans. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter where you go. See, everyone's the only ones. I mean, like, that's why I was like, I just wanted, I just wanted to meet you and hear your story. I mean, that's gotta make me feel good when somebody recognizes for the movie and then knows that you did a great job. Well, you know, what makes me feel good is that, you know, that I'm just, you know, I'm a down the earth person. I try to, you know, remain humble. You know, it's not, you know, it's not about me. Yeah, it's about us. Yeah. And that's a current. Let me tell you, honestly, if that's, if that's what you're most proud of it, it shows. Because it's very, very helpful, very down there, very real about everything that's happened to you and what's going on across the country and what happened to veterans in general and service in general. And that's, that's the most impressive part to me about you. And it helps as we have a lot of respect for Ryan, but we've interviewed him a few times, and he's just, oh my gosh. Well, he told me, and he told me to look out for you guys. Yeah, I appreciate it. He says it, I think great things about you. And, yeah, we would, you know, if we can hear some stories. Oh, I'm sure there's some. All right, I'm going to give you a little seed here. You know, that's just a little, you have Ryan. Yeah. Next night, if you're just asking about. Like little people. Yeah. Like little people. Like little people. Yeah. Yeah. Oh my gosh. There can't be stories about. I also have some little people. So I can't wait to hear him. And he always leaves me with it. Yeah, you know, I know it's just something about it. Like, I don't know what I can do. But yeah. So, anyways, I missed it. I'm sorry I just stepped out real quick. And I guess he was talking about more. We just had some about the movie. Like, yeah, I don't know. Okay. So, yeah, you didn't miss me. Oh, that's good. The fight scene with the a. Yep. Was it a, I mean, obviously it wasn't a nail and you fought with, but it was a guy, right? That was the same as Bubba. He was a stunt man. He was. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And, you know, a couple of punches. I actually hit him by accident. Yeah, I mean, the second time I hit him, we started crying. I hit him in the nose. Oh, no, I felt like I bet you did. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I mean, I'm not an actor, right? He goes back to Peter Berg, he beat the shit out of me. Wow, wow. Oh, it's crazy. And so you said that you said that you threw out them. Why? And when I heard that, I threw out one day. I filmed the next day. And then I flew home the next day. From BC. So that's for ever. Oh, no. Look what happened. Oh, thank you, sir. Oh, thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you. Yep. It's time, isn't it? It is time. You're a saint, Kristall. You are. You are. Oh, yeah. Don't forget to tip your waitress. Uh, Colonel. Thank you. There you go, darling. Thank you. You're the best. We're good. You're going to count. We're going to, if you've got time, we're going to come in. Yeah, stick around. Uh, Carol. Cheers. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for coming in. Everybody. We're going to skip. Let me get a little video. Oh, yeah. Sure. Okay. Video. Sorry. Sorry. It's like what they want. Here we go. Here we go. Cheers. Thank you. Cheers. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. All of you. It's our honor. Absolutely. Our honor. This is the least we could do. This is the least we could do. So, yeah. We have a bar. They have a bar. They have a bar. They have a bar. They have a bar now. They have a bar now. They have a bar now. They have a bar now. It's AS something that's a swimming. It's a swimming thing. I don't know. I mean, I'm just like, they got a bar, which is where Kristall. I just realized that we're friends on Facebook. The podcast. No, you and me. Yeah, just I was just looking. I'm like, who's wait a second. She just ran and got a string. You want to grab her talent? I'm going to make some adjustments on that. You want to grab the mic for me when I ask you a couple of questions. Yeah, we are. Do you mind? Colonel? We just, no, no, no, no, no. She doesn't have to use that. How would you stay here? If you got time. I'm happy to drink the mic a little closer. We're just going to put it. Yeah, here you go. I'm just going to turn the camera a little bit, too. You tell me. I'll let you know. You tell me when. Yeah. Perfect. Yep. Perfect. It used to be out there. So, you're in. I wouldn't do that to you. It usually makes you a better show. Would I really do that to you? Yeah. Everybody. Everybody who watches the show knows that. Yeah. Well, you look at the camera right there. If you want to. Or you can just sit around and stare at us. I mean, who wouldn't? Who wouldn't? Right? I mean, look at us. I mean, look at us. Everybody make me look at us. Yeah. I would be upset. I would be upset. I would be upset if it wasn't true. No, it's absolutely true. How did you start wheels here? Tell us all about that. We'll tell everybody who you are. Oh, I am personally there more on the founder and executive director of wheelchairs for years. You've been around for eight years now. Eight years here. Eight years. Wow. How did it start? What was the whole purpose of it? Incoming. A friend of mine who's a psychologist, you might need to answer that. I just call the check on you. He's the best. Let me just turn that off. I'll tell you, when you get on the radio, you do these things, because it was just super fast. Yeah, well, super fast. This was like get out. I don't terrible. It's terrible. Well, we got to get you when we can. Do you guys remember the whole J10 thing? J10 happened anywhere else besides Texas? There was a huge Walmart for closing down, and they were using Walmart facilities as training. Oh, yeah, I did hear that. Or something like that, and they were trying to scare the people. And I was when Facebook live for a new thing, you know, one of the rest of us was on second. So, men dressed all in black, wearing guns, are going to kidnap me. And I'm supposed to be afraid. Yeah. And I'm a stan. Anyway, I'll do that now. So, we'll cherish for warriors. That's right. We'll cherish for. That's right. We'll cherish for warriors. No idea how we got here. I've been kidnapped. You haven't. You are under distress. We're going to make you hold up a paper with today's date. So, so, so I know that you guys don't believe it. But the VA doesn't do everything that they're supposed to do. No way. No way. I mean, come on. No way. That is why there are organizations like DAB, which he proudly supports. There's a lot of veterans in America that we'll cherish for warriors. There's just a ton. Yeah. There are a lot of veterans. There's thousands. Now. Before you donate to one. Yeah. That's one. Go to guide star. Go to charity navigator. Go find out if they're loading up their IRS forms or 990. Find out where they're spending their money. They're being accountable. They're being accountable on how they spend their money and what grade they get. So it's not just that they signed up for it, but how well they're doing. How many, how many since about a beverage? Yeah. How many since of every dollar or. It's actually all that. Or it's the first. Yeah. Excellent. Yeah. And, you know, we're eight years in and it's, it's really tough to stay at an 80, 20 balance. I mean, it's just really hard to serve and do all that you need to do and not have bills. Yeah. No, it's a business. It is a business to serve. People have to be. They have to be, they have to be accountable, but they have to be compensated. It's good. And everybody in our organization works very hard and I have a single mother who is our administrative assistant. Yeah. And, you know, you have to pay somebody a living wage. Yeah. But it's in our programs, but still. I hear eight. Yeah. We're still at 80, 20 into our program and I just, that's just. It's pretty amazing. We, you know, if we have an event, he's been to one. There's no fancy glass where you get red solo cups. Yep. Yep. You get plastic silverware. Sure. That's who you are. Yep. That's what it is. This is fancy. This is fancy. And this is fancy. And I did not. Yeah. But I'm glad that we're getting to the next conversations about donation. That's right. That's right. Yep. Let me just, and I, I told them earlier, but in front of you, I want to thank you again. Yeah. I don't get surprised. I cut off guard, but, but two years ago. At my first warrior shoe event. A wheelchair for lawyers, surprise and awarded me with an off road wheelchair. Yeah. And I am deeply indebted for your kindness and generosity. And, and so I'm behind you all. You know that. We know. We know. And that's what it's all about. Right. And so it was a couple of years ago, we were the recipient. We've always come to warrior show. The first time we found out about it, we've been coming. This is our sixth year. Oh, wow. Okay. To be in attendance. Yeah. And we've been the recipient one year. Yeah. And that was the year he was the keynote speaker. Ryan. We were a good buddy of his friend, Amanda. So Ryan said, Hey, you know. Yeah. I'm speaking at the end of the day. Yeah. See? Yeah. And so they picked up. So that's how this community worked. It's how it worked. You do the right thing. You support our veterans. Yeah. And what's your scores? We support veterans and purchase others. Yeah. So we've got LEOs. Nice. Nice. Yeah. Yeah. You served and you've been injured in the line of duty. Yeah. And you can't get what you need from the VA or women's company. And what's interesting is, you know, Heidi and I are saying boxes, the veteran community on the bottom of the American Revolution. She was a lieutenant in the Army. Yeah. Her family has served all of my family has served. Yeah. Yeah. And so we're comfortable in this veteran community. We're comfortable hanging out. Yeah. You know, with Sergeant. Sure. Sergeant. I know we are. Sergeant. We're very involved. I just like to give him one more time. We're very comfortable in that space. Yeah. And we're, we've been kind of a little bit like full of the LEO community, not really getting into their sandbox, right? You kind of have to get into the sandbox, right? Sure. And so we're starting to do that now. And it's, it's going to be, it's going to be. It's going to be. It's going to be. But it's not. If somebody wants to reach out and donate, what's the website they can go to? Is they donate? Crystal. No. It's just easy. We're on Instagram and we're on Facebook. And if you look at Facebook, we'll trust the Warriors. You might see a little surprise. I think everybody should look at Facebook. Could you look at our Facebook Facebook Facebook? I thought it was just, oh, no, I was on yours. I think personally. Yeah. Yeah. I have not looked up wheelchairs for a Warriors. You're going to do it. You do it. You look at the Warriors. You see a nice little surprise. Really? You got to spell it right. Wheelchairs. It's one more. Is it? Yeah. Oh, there. Oh. Do you know what it is? No. Yeah. Look who it is. Oh. At the top of the Facebook. It isn't free. So we have some new branding going on right now. No, you do. That's the best. That's the best. That's the best. That's what it looks like. Is that it? Yeah. Are we going to get to the next one? No. We're going to get to the next one. No. No. No. Yeah. Awesome. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Look at that. Look at that. Yeah. Oh. That guy's handsome. Yeah. Yeah. That is a handsome looking guy. Yeah. It's a. It's a bionic man. You almost look just like him. I mean. Almost just like that. You know. So like that. Sometimes I'm rolling around and you know, and someone I come up to when you go, you know, I know you've heard this before, but you look like that guy from Battleship. And I go, I go, well, it is me. And I go, no, it's not. Yeah. They'll tell you. Okay. It's not. They'll tell you. Yeah. Does that guy have any? I mean, if you do it closely, you might see some resemblance to him. Maybe. No, you're not. Okay. That's amazing. I mean, they're like, I'm in a grocery store. So I'm like, what are you doing here? I live here. Yeah. Probably shopping for me. Why aren't you living in a mansion in California? I can't afford it. I can't afford it. It's almost like hanging out with Mick Jagger from the road. It is almost. It is almost. It is almost. We're still going. We're still going. We're still going. We're going to have to wrap up here shortly. Yeah. If you guys don't want to get her. We haven't. We just don't. No. No. We haven't done it yet. We've got to do it, brother. Yeah. Are you going to go this way? We're probably going to see. I don't know, there might be. There might be. Okay. They're bidding for a gay. Okay. I'm listening. I'm listening. A gay. We got two gay. They're killing, but she couldn't kill it all the way, which she did the bang shot. Oh, she didn't. She couldn't, but she didn't kill it all the way. Yeah. We had two gayters on our trip and they were. Super big. Twenty feet long or something. I want to jump off and. Oh. I just feel it. You do it all the way through the. That was last. But that's what Mike had to do because it didn't kill with the bang shot. Yeah. So Mike drags this alligator onto the boat, takes his knives to add them and then. Crunches it in the cracks. Oh, right. That's right. That's right. That's right. That's right. That's good. Wow. Isn't that great? Didn't make you see shoes on that. They keep approaching some. Oh, Mel. I feel like I should have got something. Something out. Mike said he was wearing underwear. Yeah. Yeah. He was wearing underwear. I said, wow. Alligator depends. Yeah. It feels like some chafing by the car. I mean, it's wide through. Right. Yeah. One drink. One drink. It doesn't even finish. He's a like. Oh, anyway. So. Yeah. No, no, no, no. No, I like the. I like that. Just keep ripping. Just. The whole alligator hunt thing we haven't done. We want to do. We have my gun talking all about it. Yeah. The air boats in there, I guess. We haven't seen that. We've been out here. So. It is so much fun. But there's a bit on it. You can bid on it. You can bid on it. You can bid on it. You can bid on it. Yeah. You can. You can. I'm going. Oh, you are going. Yeah. Okay. On a Sunday night. You are. There it is. Oh my. So we have so many photos. I mean, I'm not going to be here. I have to leave. At three o'clock. Sunday morning. I'm going to get up and go. Are you local? Like to the area? Are you like from else? Like Houston? Houston. No. I like it. Like Livingston. Our warehouse is a team of Texas. Yeah. And then Heidi looks like over around both of them on a new one. Yeah. Where's Baytown? Yeah. Two of our contractors that do marketing and website there in Arizona. Okay. Where's Paul? Hima. Wow. Wow. That's where the warehouse is. That is. Okay. All right. Oz and the warehouse. Oz. The man behind the curtain. Yeah. That's fault. So anyway, so there. So he's there and. Wow. Was this was real church war? Is like your brainchild? Was that your. It was. Yeah. To turn patriotism into action. Yeah. Think about that. Think about it. Everybody says you're a patriot and you are. And I said, look, you've got your time, your talents, your resources. Yeah. Which one are you using? Yeah. That's right. It's good. It's good. Very good. Wow. Yeah. You're right. I just knew I had been wanting. We're losers. Yeah. Well, we knew that. I mean, I knew that. I mean, until it's a firm. Right. But everybody can serve. Your time, your kind of volunteer. Yeah. She mobilized. She started a company. Yeah. I mean, we called a nonprofit, but it's an organization. It's a business. She started a business. Yeah. In the last eight years. She's been running a successful business. That's amazing. It's absolutely amazing. Well, what I did. You were the fantastic team with me and, you know, but did you just like, you know, like you saw the issue or did something personally like driving towards that or what was the. Yes. I was a political consultant and that personally drove me toward one. Yeah. A lot of politics. But you understood how you understood. You know, you know that that that time is getting you in valuable context and understanding how to. How to raise money. And that was my gift. It was fundraising. I was a political consultant. That's a good job of a political consultant. And after, you know, 20. And you realize they're just all turned into craft when they get there. This is nothing. They're not keeping the word all the same. It doesn't matter the letter behind their name. They are the same. It does not matter. It does not matter. And I was still holding out hope that I could make a difference. And I was in Baghdad for two years and I kept hearing. I kept hearing. I had many bosses. The ambassador to Baghdad was my immediate boss. But I had a facilities manager with the state department. He was a boss. And then my girlfriend Jill was like, yeah, I love it. Yeah. And Steven Montgomery came in and he was leaving. He goes, uh, where more? I'm the mobilizing. I just wanted to say goodbye. And I wanted to talk to you. And he had an envelope in his hand. Just an envelope. And I could see Saddam Hussein's letterhead on the envelope. And I didn't know. He was just waving around while he's talking to me to who was the landmark. You're just a cog in the wheel. You know that, right? No, I didn't really exactly know that I was sacrificing my whole life every day. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. And, uh, anyway, Jeff, you're just a cog in the wheel. When you leave, go replace him. I mean, if I take three people to do what you do every day, I'll put that in. I'll find three people and they'll go, and then they'll blow the shit all up again. It's not going to matter at all. And he was just so beaten up and he'd only been there three months. I was already going into a year. Yeah. I had another year to go when he left. Yeah. And I was like, oh, no. So I started remembering that. And then what he had in his hand, and by the way, I'll leave you with this. And he left. And there was a letter of commendation from the state department on Saddam Hussein's letterhead. It's a fantastic gift. Yeah. They found some letterhead in a desk door somewhere. That's incredible. That's incredible. Of course it's brand new. And in the political game, I started thinking, I'm just a cog in the mail. I'm not making a difference. I'm never going to make a difference. That's incredible. Not that way. Not that. Yeah. It was just, I just started thinking, I'm just not ever going to make a difference. Wow. And Heidi Nancy is my co-conspirator. And she was, had a radio show on "Raging Helmet" radio. Yeah. And she was a big, I think she helped start the clear, like, tea party. Oh, okay. And she made a comment and she said, well, we're not. The tea party's not supporting Brian Bavin for Congress. I said, well, that's who I'm working for. And I got him elected to other chill people. And he lied. And that is why we have a lot of care. He was supposed to do it. You're kidding me. He was supposed to, yes, that's your offer. Oh, yeah. Thank you. Now we know. Yep. Now we know. I trust in the politician. Unbelievable. Yeah. He was supposed to be a no vote. And we said present in Boehner's family office. Wow. We got a problem. Because that's the way that the two congressmen that came to his apartment. Strong aren't being taken to have an a present vote. Two senior congressmen came to this. And I know who they are. But I don't want to be one of the people that suddenly died. Oh. Oh. Yeah. And that would be one of those. She suddenly died. And I'm not vaccinated. So if I suddenly die. I got it. It was not. She did not have the myocarditis or anything. Yeah. Yeah. So I knew I wanted to serve. Sure. He said, you know, I just, you're, you're there and you see what these guys go through it. And I've seen young young men come in. Young men like him. Yeah. Come in from the battlefield. How old were you when you were there? I got wounded. Forty one. Twenty one. How old were you when you first showed up? Were you in Desert Storm? Mm hmm. How old were you in Desert Storm? Twenty three. Twenty four. Twenty four. Right. So you're seeing 18, 19, 21. Yeah. You're seeing babies coming in. They're team praying over them for dying. They're blowing up. All sorts of things. And I would see it. I would be in the cash and things would happen. It would take some minute. And that's for me to get over. Imagine what these guys are going through and what they're having to get over through. And I don't really know how to do it. Yeah. You just pray a lot. Did you talk it out? You know, you do. I think it's really, it's always kind of the big adventure. Yeah. You have a higher cause of the higher purposes. So a lot of times you don't have time to really process it because, you know, the war doesn't stop. You know, the mission doesn't stop it. What you have to do. And so you process it quickly. But, you know, for a lot of folks, it takes years. It takes a lifetime to process it. And some don't get through it, you know, and some can't make it through. And it is probably as individual as an individual is, you know. And I knew that I just wanted to continue my service somehow. And the Peace Corps, you had to sell everything before. So look at us. Look, she's unvaccinated. I've got all of them. Yeah. And I ain't got sick. Yeah. See? All right. And again, with the individualism, right? As we are, right? And the choice should be. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. Yeah. Well, you know what? Yes or no? Because there's a balance. Well, you know what? There's a balance. It's, you know, if everything's an individual choice, then we don't have a society to do it. Well, I get that. I mean, I understand. There's a balance. Exactly. I mean, just throw it out on the market and make us dab it in arms. All right. Our country was started. See, this is why we don't got a no history. Yeah. That's what George Washington said. We will do the smallpox vaccine. Yeah. There weren't no cats back then. But it was going to wipe out the army. We would not be a country if we did not get that vaccine. Hey. Uh oh. All right. Yes. Have a good one. There's that. There's this long term. But we were in a pandemic and so. Yeah, I know. You know, the tip. Oh, no, no, no. I don't blame a certain person or anything. Anything for that. I mean, it was it. I understand that my issue with it. I'll be blunt and honest with you. Yeah. Is that the force ability on either businesses. So whether you take in airline pilots or whether you're taking the bill. Right. Yeah. And those that were had 19 years in and retired because they didn't want to take the. But then they left early so they don't get their full benefits. They don't get that because they felt it was their right to not take. And they're, and I agree with that. It should have been the right to take it or not take. I don't know if you join the army. Well, no, we're a uniform. I understand that. When we part of that is we give up some of those rights. That's how we do. It's frustrating. And I don't get it. You're right. Yeah. The only thing that I had a problem with is when you hear that the. Companies who made the. Chats. You are. That kind of worried me a little bit. Because it was a tough call. I don't blame it. They were forced to make it fast. But I am. If you want to vaccinate yourself in vaccinations, are there for a reason? Why I have absolutely no problem. Yeah. But again, so what is, you know, when we. I get what you're, I get the individual point, but also get, look, we have a society. And so if we are. If we, if we have two sets of rules, then we're. We're going to be struggling. Yeah. I think we have to look at the data and you have to look at the science and the data. I don't think supported every supported. It wasn't the polio situation. If you looked at the data, it was, I'm healthy. I'm in my thing. I could have had a 1% less than a 1% chance of dying. Right. Right. In your age group and where you were. Yeah. But I know people that were 24 years old, healthy as a horse. We know. And, and, and, and, and the. Yeah, we know people have died of COVID. I'm not saying. Yeah. Yeah. This is not. You're right. That's American. And that's, that's the bill. And that's the balance that we've got. That it's not, you know, the pandemic. And it presented a certain circumstances that didn't make all these things kind of. But then the efficacy of, of a standard timeline of testing and all that kind of. I agree for stuff like that or just a little bit of line for something to work itself out for people to be able to. I just don't want to be living in a government that I'm mandated to do that. I agree. And I also did not know about smallpox. Yeah. You read about that. Yeah. You challenged me on that. So I, I, I met, I met a, I met a 97 year old. A 7 year old veteran was, so he was in between Korea and World War II. That flew as a pilot, as a test pilot. Flew through four atomic explosions and one hydrogen explosion. Wow. He's 97 years old. Wow. Damn. Yeah. I think about how much radiation he was. Exactly. He had to fly blind. He's like, yeah, we couldn't see anything. Wow. And then he turned around and had to fly back through it. Yeah. The mushrooms. Wow. Yeah. That's a 40,000 feet up in the air. He's pickled himself. He's pickled himself basically. That's why I, that's why I have this. I mean, I figure it's kind of. I mean, you do make it good. He's still alive. I know. I know. I don't know. Yeah. I know Nick. I'm here. You know, so Sammy Hanger, look how good he looks. He's about the same age. It's not that far off. It's true. It's the same age as Bill Clinton. He's been road hard, put away with it. I know. But that's a good look. Good. Word for him. Yeah. A friend of mine has her fault to pass away. Yeah. He has, he had an Andy Warhol of McDeckers. Oh, really? What? Mick Annie. No. She's super rare. Yeah. So I kept saying, what are you going to sell it? Girl, I'm waiting to leave the house. - Yeah, I know. - She said it'll be worth more. And she said, but he's been out there. - I know, she's been out there. - I got a little picky of her mail. - I got a Tom Petty guitar on my wall. - Do you, oh no, and he went wrong. - Wow. - How lucky are you? - Yeah, that was sad. - You're gonna win a while. He's psycho. - Go, Cowboys. - Go, Brown. - Who are you? - You, who are you? - Jets, Giants, are you Giants? I mean, you have two people. - You're gonna say Giants, I mean, you should die, right? - Yeah, you were Eli Manning, right? I mean, that was it, so, I mean, that's, yeah. - So you were happy when they got rid of a sequel? - No. - No, of course not. - Eagles seem to be happy, I don't know. - Eagles seem to be happy, they play tonight, by the way. Eagles back up. - Crystal, you know, you look so young, I don't think you've ever seen the Cowboys ever win a single. - Yeah, I don't think so. - Uh-oh. Well, I can tell you I've never seen the Broncos win a single, but I can tell you. - I've never seen them win money, either. - I've never seen the Browns. - Yeah, they got a better chance than the Cowboys. - Yeah, I know, I know, that's it. - I know. - If my Cowboys play my Brown, Cowboys play my Brown Sunday. - That's it. - Wow, I know, think about that, think about that. - So much, so much for that wheelchair. (laughing) - Well, he's not everything he needs out. - I know, he doesn't need you. - They'll probably send some signal to him. - Yeah, they should not shut it down, I'll show him. (laughing) - Anyways, Bristol. - Thank you. - Thank you. - Thank you. - Well, we've got to say it tomorrow. - That's true, I know. - You guys are awesome, I mean, I hear it. You know what? - I've heard that so much. - It is honestly, it's brilliant. You guys are a great demeanor. And look, this is about sharing. It is, you know, this isn't one thing, one side or the other, but we all got across the finish line together. - Yeah. - Yeah, we do. - Yeah, we do. - And I'm proud that our appeal has been some time. - Oh, it's alright. - But we just hang out with guys like this all the time. - I know, I mean, I was just like... - I mean, how lucky are you? - Yes, it's all lucky. - That is awesome. - Yeah, it's just been a Toronto for us. 'Cause he's a warrior. - Joe Burrell, I don't even know what that is. - You just die in here, Blonde? - Yeah.
