Introduction to the Halachas of Answering אמן (Amen).
Welcome everybody, it's your number 892. Okay, I want to just go a little bit through Sim and Rach test volv. We spoke a little bit about a last year reference to answering a main middle of learning, middle of davening. We pretty much we finished the Sim and Rach test to an extent anyways. I want to go with skipping a little bit but Sim and Rach test volv is extremely important in reference to answering a main. Okay, there's very important halakhas that are brought down over there, how to work with a main. A main is something that of course we're answering all the time, something that has to be done and so on and so with and some of the various different and very important halakhas in reference to answering a main and that's the actual title of Sim and Rach test volv. A nyas a main akhar habrahas, that's the title of the Sim and it's very important to know when you're learning a Sim and Rach test volv. What, know what it's about, know how it's being worked over and know how it's being brought down and what the title is and we sort of remember it better. I may actually spoke to somebody a while back, Rach kylul and Rach kylul and Rach kylul and Rach kylul and Rach kylul and Rach kylul and Rach kylul and Rach kylul and interesting thing that what he tries to do is make himself different Simmanim in a Simman to whether it's with the lettering or the title to try and remember as to you know what halakhas are found in what Simmanim. So it's a very important thing and I've heard in the past, I've heard in the past, I think Rach kylul and Rach kylul and Rach kylul and Rach kylul and Rach are others, but it's a major gondalim who when somebody came to ask them a Shailah, at least maybe in the younger years, I don't know what the older years but they would just open up the Shailah and read it inside for them what the halakha is and then that's a very important thing as far as Khazarah goes and of course to get acquainted with, to get acquainted with the Shailah and Rach know that somewhat the Simmanim, the titles and where things could be found. Okay, somewhat it's a very important thing. Okay, so now just moving along, well one more quick thing I did want to mention, I mentioned to somebody the other day, an important point to bring to bring out and not so much for women but at least for men, the Basie Asif, the Shailah Narach with the Basie Asif wrote the Shailah Narach and he writes over there in the introduction in the Basie Asif, if I remember correctly, that he wrote the Basie Asif, in other words the Basie Asif has written that with the various different halakhas, the ins and outs, they've shown him and so on, but he wrote in order to be able to review the halakhas quicker, he wrote something called the Shailah Narach, the Basie Asif wrote something called the Shailah Narach which is sort of like a quick type of a thing and he writes over there very interestingly, the Basie Asif writes, he doesn't, he said he doesn't want people to learn from the Shailah Narach, that's more like a review, really you have to open up the Basie Asif and learn it inside the right way but be it as it may as the generations move down the line, get a little bit weaker, we we right now we rely on the Shailah Narachalovai, we know the Shailah Narach will be in good shape, so it's an interesting thing how the generations move down the road, but be it as it may, okay so getting back to our Semen-Rach-Tess-Vov, the first halakha that's brought down, very interesting, so there are various different times and various different times, so the reason why, at least one of the reasons why is because, if I remember correctly, the Mishbrooke explains that it's a cut-off, to show that it's a cut-off, that that's you know the the brochas before Adirah Isa and afterwards the brocha of Adirah Native is going to be Adirah Bonn, and that's at least one of the reasons why it's said over there, the Amen, okay but be it as it may, so there are certain times, if Chazal told us, there are certain times to say Amen, after our own brochas, so then that is said, there are various different huggins, but in general you make a brocha, you do not say a main to your own brocha, to the extent that we're going to see that it could even actually be a hephsic, right if I make a shahakal on my, if I make a shahakal on my soda, now I say a main, it's you running into a question of a hephsic, you see, we want to keep in mind anything that's said in conjunction with brochas and it's not supposed to be there, even if it's a double cottage, a main, a main is a holy thing, but it becomes mamishah hephsic and it's running in halochically, sometimes you have to mamishah make over the brocha, sometimes, we'll see, we're going to see actually, sometimes, that you don't even say a main to certain brochas that are made by certain people, okay well that's, again we don't want to get off on the tangent, but let's just start off with the first halocha, and now with immigration says vavt, it says right now, okay now the mishah tells us even further, it brings us to the maris, it's not a nice thing to do, not only is it, you'll say well I'm a firm guy, I want to be even extra from, I'll say in my brochum, I'll make my shaqal on my soda, and I'll say a main, I want to be from it, and everybody else knows, it's not, it's a double mcguna, it's not a nice thing to do, it's not something that's supposed to be done, okay so we'll stop off with that, but I want to mention something very important, brings down the diushu, and it brings down quite a few very important things in this sim in which we're going to see, but he says something interesting, which comes up all the time, I'm davening in shul, right, I'm davening in shul, and I finish a brocha, at the same time the chazim finishes a brocha, should I say a main, or not say a main, well one second, let's see, am I saying a main to the chazins brocha, that's good, you're supposed to say a main to the chazins brocha, but I'm not supposed to say a main to my brocha, so I just, let's say for example, I finish the brocha, you eat seramor oris, right, I finish let's say in brocha's christma, I finish the brocha, you eat her a myris, so I don't say a main, I don't say a main, but the chazin at the same time, finish let's say a different brocha, he finishes starbocha, let's say, right, so I want to say a main to his brocha, or by car dish, or whatever it might be, but it's coming out the same time, so interesting thing brings down the diushu from sim in non olive, which is the halachas of filo, chris, but filo, I'm not going to get into that right now. (speaking in foreign language) Let's say you finished it, let's, let's say you both finish, you and the chazin together finish, you eat your america, you both finish the same brocha at the same time, (speaking in foreign language) So he says, (speaking in foreign language) it's you, you should not answer, I mean, in that case, if you finish together at the same time, (speaking in foreign language) Looks like you're making, saying a main after your own brocha. (speaking in foreign language) So let's say I finish a different brocha, right, (speaking in foreign language) And the chazin finish, you start bar, right, (speaking in foreign language) Then I can say, (speaking in foreign language) And we have this, by the way, we have this, just an example, (speaking in foreign language) by night, by, we say (speaking in foreign language) Right, in Shul, the chazin said about Phyllis says (speaking in foreign language) Right, if I remember correctly, (speaking in foreign language) He goes faster, I think there are other times also, I'm just trying to remember (speaking in foreign language) But be it as a may, so many times, the chazin, I'm sorry, goes slower. And the, the, the, the people finish off quicker, and then the chazin finishes off that brocha, even though it's the same brocha, so it's a different time, let's say about it in the case of the time with (speaking in foreign language) Right, (speaking in foreign language) So then everybody says (speaking in foreign language) Because I already, I say (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) And we finish that off, and then the chazin goes slow, and whatever, 30 seconds after that, he goes slow, and finishes it off after it. So then I could say (speaking in foreign language) Because I'm not saying I mean to my brocha, I'm saying I mean to his brocha. So we have that a few times that, that in a look, where by the chazin says the brocha is slow, and I say it fast, I finish it off, and then I could say I mean to the chazin's brocha. Okay, so we'll stop over here, but bottom line is, if you finish off together, same brocha, don't say I mean, it looks like you're answering a mane to your brocha, if it's two different brochas, it's fine, or if you finish way before, and he's finishing, of course, afterwards, then it's also fine. Thank you for listening, (speaking in foreign language)
