Covering One's Head When Making a Bracha.
Welcome everybody, she is number 888, getting back to our Hilchus Brochus. Okay, I just, we are still just trying to finish off a simulation class, we're almost there. I just want to go through a couple of things, a lot of things to go through a reference to, and not Brochus themselves, but in reference to how to work with the Brochus. What do I mean by that we'll talk about, but here and there, I want to just sort of throw in people, it comes up, and people ask, like for example, let's say somebody wakes up in the middle of the night, and talk about Asha Yachar, somebody goes to the bathroom, you wash your hands, say Asha Yachar, say you have to make Asha Yachar, right? I just want to mention, some people have asked you, you have to make Asha Yachar, so every time you go to the bathroom, person must make Asha Yachar, that's not a question. I mean, unless they're in the middle of davening, different parts of davening, sometimes you have to wait, it depends, we have Tuka Dizimra, Kornita Mishabir, you could make, I just want to mention real quickly, in Tuka Dizimra, you could make Asha Yachar, Kornita Mishabir, but once you get into the Birkhaz-Krishma, then you're not supposed to make. I did find out, I did talk to somebody, spoke to a brother in reference to, once you heard Bharkhu, right? Let's say after Yishthabakh, and now I heard Bharkhu, and the person, let's say, went to the bathroom in the middle of the Tuka Dizimra at the end, and now, but they came back and they heard Bharkhu, but they didn't start yet, they didn't start the Brahma, they didn't start anything yet, they didn't start anything yet, they didn't start the Brahma, Birkhaz-Krishma yet, but they heard Bharkhu, so I did hear from one rub that did mention, you could still make Asha Yachar, but after that, once you start, you have to wait till after Shmana Sree. So that's a little bit different, though, we're not getting into those halakas right now, I just wanted to mention that because I happened to hear it recently, somebody asked, but in general, the person goes to the bathroom, right, even in the middle of the night, you have to make Asha Yachar, K, you have to wash your hands, whatever the case is, that has to be done, but Asha Yachar always has to be made. For whatever reason, some people were under the impression that middle of the night, you don't make Asha Yachar, I'm not sure why, but be it as a mate. Okay, moving right a little bit, interesting question, also just talking a minute about a man, a man has to make sure that the head is covered when they're making a Brahma, sometimes in middle of the night, especially a person wakes up and they're half out of it, I know by myself, you know, you don't have yamaka, you do have yamaka, but the person has to be careful when making a Brahma that their head is covered, a yamaka hat, whatever it might be. Just reading a minute from the Shoshanara, again, it's totally not our simmon at all, but here and there, I want to go through these halakas, and it'll be a while till we actually get to it. Actually, in simmon, it's Adik Alif, way in the beginning, the first halak of our hai, and there is a little bit of rage fove, which we've been going through, but it sounds like this, the Shoshanara says, the Mahabha says, like this, the asha mimcha, asha lohitzi, as karumi piv, beresh magula, the asha mimcha, shi hai mimcha, le murecha, le murecha, le karus, the basic, that's the spigaloo, the rage, right, whatever the case is, first, let's make sure to cover their head when making a Brahma. Okay, and then there's a whole, again, we're not going to get into their lohitz, but there's a whole thing in reference to going dalaramas, not to go dalaramas without covering your head, and there's a thousand sense of this man. They knew us, bholmak, imidina, alfila pukhas, mi ayuramas, even less than almond, dalaramas, okay. But that's a separate thing, which I don't want to get into, but medina, want us to be careful when making a Brahma to make sure that their head is covered. Now, okay, so it's okay. So I put on a yamaka, I put on a hat, whatever the case might be. Now, but the question is, the question is, what about the good, if I don't have a yamaka, could I put my hand on my head, right? Could I, I'll just take my hand and put it on my head? So the makhabh says, again, in Simen's topic, alf sif dalad, he talks about the different type of hats, whatever it is, but that's considered a covering, but moving along over there, he says, "In sif dalad, a bholmakhas yad, alharaish, la kashivikisa." If somebody puts their own hand on their head, that will not help. Right after make a Brahma, I don't have a yamaka, I'll put my hand on my head. That doesn't help. We'll talk about a minute wide. We should brew a vimachamaniha yadim, but if somebody else puts their hand, right, my friend, I don't have a yamaka. My friend who put his hand on my head, not on his head, on my head, alharaish vimachamaniha yadim, alharaishay. She'll say, "Nashmada kashivikisa." That would be okay. So it says, the makhabhren sif dalad. So just a minute. The makhabhren talks about the rish vayyad, radgulfinan. So vayyad, aggulf yacholachas is asked. And makhabhren says, "It's cotton urine." That the reason why, if you put your own hand on your head, right, I need a yamaka. I don't have to. I'll put my hand on my head. And this comes up again. It comes up in the middle of the day. Usually most people have their heads covered with people who are yamikas. But in the middle of the night, sometimes people wake up. They're out of it. They don't know. They forgot the yamaka. They don't know. They can't find it. It's dark. These things come up a lot, especially in the middle of the night. And many people in the middle of the night, again, I'm just talking for myself, you know, you're in the middle of the sleep. And mamish, a person feels very different, you know, sometimes. Until when you wake up in the morning, it's a tremendous gift. We are. I just want to mention aggavurcha. A tremendous gift from Akhulach borchar, a vikdamila zechtadiklvurcha is to talk about it. What it means, sleep. We go to bed. Sometimes, you know, and mamish, we can barely walk straight. I know. I know that mish, we can barely walk straight. And we wake up. Mamish, you will, as shams help, refresh and energize. A tremendous, tremendous gift from Akhulach borchar. What it means, sleep. To the point, even the kapatschayim, the famous story, used to actually mamish get up on the tables. I don't know exactly the times. 12, 12, 30, whatever it was. In the shiv, in Rotten over there, we mamish would turn out the lights by himself, you know. We could make sure everybody gets enough sleep, goes to bed. So, but it's a tremendous gift. But when one wakes up in the middle of the night, you know, many times, it's just, you're half out of it. It's hard to concentrate. You don't know where you get to the office. This is that. So, these halocas are important to keep in mind. So, covering your own hand, no. That's not going to help. So, but then the misha bora says, what's a good idea to do? If somebody has, so we saw, before we get to the, before, we saw if we talk about the, another person covering your hand. In the middle of the night, you don't have another person to cover your hand, to cover your head, right? In the middle of the day, maybe. When the middle of the night, you buy a right, the person gets up to them by themselves. (speaks foreign language) (speaks foreign language) (speaks foreign language) (speaks foreign language) That's a good thing to do. That's a person that has a robe, a robe, or a pajama sleeve. So, they'll pull it. (speaks foreign language) (speaks foreign language) Pull your sleeve over your head, right? (speaks foreign language) (speaks foreign language) Just come here, head, with the sleeve of your pajamas or the sleeve of your robe. (speaks foreign language) And that will be a good, key, say, a good covering also. I just wanted to mention it. It's important to keep in mind because a lot of people are not so aware of this. Aloha. Thank you for listening.
