Welcome to September 25th on the National Day Calendar. Today, we're diving into the colorful world of graphic storytelling and savoring a gourmet seafood delight. Comic books have been captivating readers since the early 20th century, offering adventures that span galaxies, explore human nature, and challenge the limits of imagination. Whether you're a fan of superhero sagas, manga, or indie graphic novels, there's a comic book out there for everyone. So head to your local comic books store or dust off your own collection because today is National Comic Book Day. Wow, this place is awesome. Where do they keep the Archie's? In the bedrooms of 10-year-old girls where they belong. Do you have a collection of comic books? I don't. I used to collect the Archie comic books, and I used to be a huge fan as a kid, but I don't know where those went. Yeah, I was a fan of Archie's as well. That's cool that you had that same fascination. I also had some Mark Twain stories converted into comic books too, I thought that was cool. Hey, I like those. Yeah, they're fun. Lobster once considered a humble food for the poor is now a sought-after delicacy. Whether steamed, grilled, or baked, the succulent seafood is celebrated for its rich, sweet flavor and tender meat. Often associated with special occasions and elegant dining, lobster offers a taste of the ocean that's truly unforgettable. So treat yourself to a lobster dinner, or try your hand at a lobster recipe at home because today is National Lobster Day. That is a serious glow up from food for the poor to be a very expensive dish right now. I don't ever remember it at being nothing but a delicacy actually, so except if you live in Maine, I think there is a little tired of lobster, but yeah, amazing. Maybe we should go because I don't think you really have experienced amazing lobsters, so maybe we should go to Maine and do some exploring. Alright, I would do that. I would give it another try. Alright, grab your keys. Let's go. I'm Latoya Johnson. I'm Marlo Anderson. Thank you for joining us on our journey to celebrate every day. And join us for all of our adventures on Facebook and Instagram at the destination celebration show. Until next time, keep celebrating. Alright, now let's see who's celebrating. On the birthday club. Yep, I've got the names for the 25th Happy Birthday to Sylvester Scales in Ridgeway. Just sent a tuck Betsy Holcomb and Margaret Ferris. Yep, all today. One more time Betsy Holcomb, Margaret Ferris, Sylvester Scales, and Jacinta Tuck. Hope it's a wonderful birthday for you. Well, I'm taking names for the rest of this month. That would be the 26th through 30th and then all of October. Text them to me any time. Get them in. I like to have all the names and maybe the person you tell me about could be our one winner of the week. Text the birthdays to 336-932-1881. Let's see some big name birthdays now. Will Smith is 56, Heather Locklear, 63, Cheryl Tiggs, 77, Bob McAdoo, and Mark Hamill 73. In today's music spotlight, we remember Will Jennings. Later of three Grammys, two Golden Globes, two Academy Awards, member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Will Jennings has died at 80. You may not know the name, but you know his music, Dion Warwick. I'll never love this way again. Barry Manilow, somewhere in the night and looks like we made it. Whitney Houston, didn't we almost have it all? Eric Clapton, tears in heaven, Steve Winwood, Higher Love, and Back in the High Life again. Celine Dion, my heart will go on from Titanic, Song of the Year, in 1997, and this big hit in 1982. Who knows what tomorrow brings? In a world few hearts survive. All I know is the way I feel, when it's real, I can't believe that a lot is long. There are mountains in our own way, but we come to see that every day. There are mountains in our own way, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come to see that every day, but we come the little things in life. For one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things. Thank you for listening friends. I appreciate that and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday. Be sure to count your blessings today.
