This is the Cocktail Nation, broadcasting from the Sydney Penthouse, and now, your bartender, the Lounge Lothario, Koop Koopa. Well, good evening and it is largely the Koop Koopa with you terrific to have you along tonight as we broadcast from up high in the Sydney Penthouse, and I suddenly thought of a story the other day that I wanted to share with you. Many, many years ago, young Koopa was working in a small country radio station out in the middle of nowhere in a town of 3,000 people, one of my first radio jobs. Anyway, I'll get a phone call from the owner of the radio station asking me to take some piece of equipment out there and plug it into the transmitter site out in the field, which is probably about 15 minutes away. And basically, it was a giant antenna in a field, and a bit of a walk from the fence all the way to the transmitter site. Anyway, before I hang up, he says, "Now, I do need to warn you. When you go to the transmitter site, the grass is very, very long, and there's a very good chance that there are snakes out there." So what do we do? Step lightly, so young Koop Koopa tippy-toed through the paddock, through the field to get to the transmitter site. There's the Shelley man and his man, and step lightly on the Cocktail Nation evenings at the Bend House.
