It's time for the Friday, who's hot and who's not? Hot, a light September heat wave, good for the harvest, and nice to get another bit of summer. Not, the green terminal workers strike at the part of Vancouver. Just like the rail dispute, this should be sent to binding arbitration. A group of workers should not get to hold a big part of the prairie economy hostage. Not, all the tough guy talk in the Commons this week. It was like nerdy kids with their wizard cards rolled up in their t-shirt sleeve, trying to be badass. Not. Government news releases that are nothing more than campaign material. Is it really news that the government spent X number of dollars in highways in the last four years? It's a campaign talking point. Stop using public communications for political purposes. And finally, hot. Raquel, don't call me Rock Armstead, leads the riders in their one-game winning streak against the team that cut him loose. Hopefully, revenge is a dish best served with a beatdown.
