(upbeat music) (upbeat music) - This is reality checks, the floor season two, episode one recap. I'm Brad, I'm Brad. - And this is Heidi, I'm with us. We have? - I'm Claire. - Yeah. - Heidi, where's Claire from? - For the listeners. - So, Claire is a good friend of Brad and I's now, and she is from Season one of The Floor. And we are so excited, 'cause we really want to do recap shows for The Floor, and we are so happy to have Claire, 'cause then we get some inside scoop of how this is going, and what happens in the floor. - Yeah, and if you don't know Heidi, she's from Season 44 of Survivor, and I'm from The Couch. So we're all good on that. I watched them both on television, and now we get to talk and hang out. Now, I feel like The Floor's only gonna grow in popularity. What do you ladies think about that? - Like, the graphics are new? It's like whenever you leave school, and they like do something to like a building that you were always in, and you're like, why couldn't we have these nice things? Like, that's how I look at this new season. It's so like, Claire. - I have a question, Claire. So, there's 100 contestants, right? And I noticed that the colors of the clothes of the people, it's not like you have the same color in the same area. There's a good diversity of colors of clothing. So is that something they tell you you should do? Do they pick your clothes? How does that work? - You have to send in like options for what you wanna wear, and you have to have two of each. So that way you, if you start smelling, they're obviously gonna put you in the second version. - So your neighbor on the floor doesn't pass out from fumes, but it's, yeah, you have to send in some options, and it's kind of tough, like they're pretty picky. - How do you know you're positioning on the floor? - You don't, you don't until you get there. And then whenever you're about to play, they tell you what square to go on. And they're all like numbered. At the very beginning, you can see like one through 100, and that's how you find out who you're next to. - How long are you on the square a day? - Not an hour long episode, I can tell you that. - I'm thinking like four hours, right? Are you there like four hours? - Hey, Mar! - It's way more than that. - Do you get to leave like Heidi? We talk about this a lot. I don't know if we asked Claire this in the last time she was on our show. But what do we do with the bathroom breaks here? 'Cause I mean-- - They do let you have bathroom breaks. - Okay. - So you can go to the bathroom when you need to go. - Well, they say it's like school, you know. You gotta go, you gotta go now. And if not, you gotta hold it. - Oh, I would be so stressed Heidi. I'd be like, what if I got a poop? Like, I don't know what I'm gonna do. (laughing) - Like we just saw on this episode, there was like a team of people that talks to you before you go up. - Yes. - Whenever I was called up for mine, I was like, I'm gonna pee my pants. I'm gonna pee my pants. Like it was the nervous pee. - Uh-huh. - Oh, we have that. - I had that. - Can you imagine how viral that was on? - She would be so huge right now she would not even be on our podcast. - Yeah. - She'd be like, I'm the girl from the floor. - Girl, yeah. - I would love to go from the top down on what happened but you said it so I'm gonna jump into this. I liked that they showed us a little bit of, they kind of broke that wall, right? We get to see a little bit of like, someone was freaking out and they showed it to us. And then you can see they're like fixing her. And she also said, that was the very last couple. She also said, oh, I like this kid. I mean, he's so smart or whatever. She made a comment about him so you can tell they actually have talked to each other before that episode, right? So you get a little bit of an inside scoop which I don't think we got that last seat zone in the first season. - Yeah, this is definitely brand new, which I love. - Yes. - I read on the news that they're dating now. - No, I'm just kidding. - No, you're making that out. Okay, let's go from the top down, right? So first of all, when you saw the categories, which one stood out to you, Claire? - Oof, I love Halloween costumes. And I guess I'm partial because Megan is a pal of mine. I love Las Vegas. Like that to me seems so fun. I cannot wait to see how that one plays out. World currencies looked really fun. But overall, I'm more intimidated by this season's categories than I was from my season's categories. I think they've gotten really creative. - Okay, Brad, what about you? Which one stood out to you? - Daytime shows did not stand out to me. I could tell you what didn't stand out to me. Paintings did not stand out to me. - That's hard. I cannot imagine that one. - I was like, school supplies. I was like, oh my gosh. - Easy. - We got to talk about that. - You know, the action movies, I would feast on the action movies. - Yeah, right up here, Holly. - But then I'd be dead. Like I wouldn't last long. I'd be the, you know. But some of them look really challenging. If I was sitting on paintings, I would go back to my hotel really scared. I would be studying every painting possible. Just to, 'cause you know they're gonna show Mona Lisa. They're gonna show Mona Lisa, right? That's gonna be the gimme. And then after that, I'm dead. I'm like, I don't know. - There's one like what, "Story Night." That's the only other one I know. - Oh my gosh. They show the Kramer one from Sandfield. Remember the painting of the day that, oh yeah, it's a Cosmo Kramer. - Well, the one for me that it didn't stand for, like I didn't think of it too much 'cause I know much about Taylor Swift's songs. But in the last season of "Survivor," there was one contestant that knew a gazillion songs of "Survivor." So I was like, oh my God, Charlie will be amazing at that one. So that one kind of stood up for me 'cause I was like, I'll be terrible at it, but I know a few people that would be great at it. Interesting, let's go from the top down, guys. So first one, Wade versus Joshua. That was the principal and the farm, right? So they got the farm category. Any thoughts on that one? - So Wade is one of my seasoned contestants' father-in-law. And really does live on a farm. I was like rooting for him. - I think he really did so well. That was like so, I mean, it was hard. Marley, Marley was the other guy with the... - That's right. - Oh, they had the long hair, they had the long hair. - The two, when would Joshua, he wasn't the second one, right? - No, Marley was the one against Wade, the principal. - Yeah, and then Marley and Joshua, that's right. - He had the funny saying of I have three dogs, two cows or whatever, and a partridge and a pear tree. And that to me was like just a solid line. Like even though he left during this episode, I think that that will stick with him, that was hysterical, that I was rooting for Wade. And I thought that was really tough. Like, I mean, I'm from Amarillo, Texas, but so I knew a lot of it. But still, like, that was tough. I was just yelling pickaxe, pickaxe, like... - There's nothing. - Claire, I question Wade's validity of living on a farm. I have never shoveled crap in my life, and I pretty much got all those. How in the world does Wade not know what a hoe is? - Yeah, there's also that thought. Like, Viagra was on last season, and there's just that thought of, "Wait, are they really gonna have me say hoe?" - Yes, they are, it's a hoe. - She was like, "Do I say this out loud?" - I watched that with my kids and my nine, almost 10-year-old, she knew them all. Like, she was so good at it. I was like surprised by it. Even though, I don't know if you said the silos or silos, but she even knew that. I'm like, "How do you know this?" - How many farms has your kids lived on, Heidi? - Non-zero, all the way up. - We have family with farms, but us now. - Wade literally lives on a farm, and he did not know. Well, I was glad to see Wade get expelled. As a principal, he had to go, man. - Oh, well. Yeah. - He had to get expelled. - All right, so moving on, oh no, wait, before we move on. That's when Rob tells us they do the time boost. Claire, what do you think about the time boost? - Okay, that would have been a major game changer. Like, I think that, you know, it's really smart because if you are a viewer of season one and you watch to one, you automatically think, "Okay, there's no way that I'm gonna keep going." I'm gonna get back. - Stay. - So this gives them incentive to keep going. Do I think that it's worth keeping going and know of the show? - No, it's awesome. - This game is awesome. It's a great game, but it's also flawed because do not wanna be on television for the first seven episodes. - Correct. - You wanna be a floater. - Yeah. - You wanna be the opposite of big brother. You wanna float. - But I do think they realize that. So that's why they have this incentive. So if we keep having more and more seasons, it's very likely they'll bring something else next time, right? To make sure that it doesn't get to that, right? - So, you know, as someone in sales, people are motivated by two things, appreciation, which no one's gonna be appreciated on the show. You're trying to kick them off and two, money. So I think they should up how much money they're giving per episode. Because 20K, like you can't play or you can't win enough episodes to hit 250K. So it's not worth losing the big money. - Okay, will that do it? - 50. - Okay, we keep you up there going. I'm gonna go against paintings right now. - That was a percent, a thousand percent. 'Cause that, yeah. - All right, let's move on. So then after that, it was, I think, Marley and Josh. And that was the school supplies, right? And any thoughts on that one? Brad, I think you mentioned something about a school supplies. - Where you go-- - That's an easy category. I don't think I would be mad if they gave me that. I'd be embarrassed that people watch me on the floor going, "Oh, Brad likes school supplies." I'm like, "No, I'm good. "I don't really care about school supplies at all." He inherit cleaning brands, okay? I don't know. I know they were like, "Oh, I'm gonna be good at this." I don't know if anyone will be good at it without really, like, maybe you have a plan. I don't know if that's close to your business or not, but I feel like that's hard one. At least for me, I think that's a hard one. - I mean, I was actually pretty good at school supplies. There were a few that, like, their heads were covering, like, the side, so I couldn't tell. - Yeah, same thing for the stocks. - Yes, for sure about the stocks. But yeah, cleaning supplies, I actually, I think I'd like that. - Okay, so-- - Oh my God, I cannot wait to see this one next week. - If we had cleaning supplies on there, you know they'd do scrubbing bubbles. They would do Mr. Klai. - Yeah. - Magic eraser. - Magic eraser. They would do-- - And a duck on. - Yeah. - Ajax for-- - That can be seen once. - Yeah, I'm just saying Fabuloso. - Fabuloso, yes. - Fabuloso. - Pine saw. Pine saw would be on there. - Yeah, comment. - Paper towels, brawny, all that stuff. I think how do you would crush cleaning supplies if you try? - I feel no way until it comes up to see how well or bad I do. That's one, I wouldn't be comfortable. Unless I study, I feel like if you study it, I would probably be more comfortable with it. - Okay, listeners, if you listen now, write down what we just thought would be on there, 'cause I'm curious to see if the ones we just said will be on there. I'm gonna be watching for this. - You know what, I'm gonna be like, toilet brush. Like, that's the-- - Ooh. - Aw, okay. - I think it's more sense. - No, wait, it's-- - But it's brand, yeah, but it says brands. I don't know. - The guy did say, "I'm not good with cleaning brands." I feel like you should never say that. Even if you're not good, never say that. - Yeah. - Right, 'cause that'll pick him. Eh, it was that they got him and they picked him back. But they went for the tailgate. - Yeah, but deny, deny, deny. - I feel like if I said on national television, I'm not good with cleaning brands. My wife would be at home going, "I'm gonna change that when he gets home." I'm gonna change that. He's gonna learn to clean with some brands. - Learn. - He'd be like, whoa. - All right, so the next one was tailgate. And I love sex. - Oh my gosh. - The very last one was a bit of a technicality for me, though. Like, he said tent, but they didn't accept it, right? So it was pop-up tent. So what do you think, Claire? Is that something that you think it's too technical? - So, okay. Wait, Rhett, I'm interested to hear what you think because you just shook your head. I would have accepted tent, but I think so. Like on my season, they were looking for, it was chips, but they were looking for potato chip. But they told us, generic is fine. So this is kind of where it gets a little fuzzy for me, because I think it should have been accepted. - Yeah. - I'm 100%. I was like, tent, tent. - Yeah, me too. I'm like, why are you looking for a pop tent? And then it was the end of the time it was pop-up tent. What are you thinking about? - Here's where I disagree. I want a tent. You sleep in a tent. You camp in a tent. You don't camp in a pop-up tent. It's a pop-up. It's like a picnic tent. - I don't know. - I don't know. - I don't know. - I probably gave it to him just 'cause it's, you're saying tent. So obviously it's, you know, it must be, I don't know. But I have a bigger issue with this whole tail gated, because I wrote this down. This was the biggest fell of the night when one of the biggest fells, when Ryan saw burger and he said cookie. - And then show Rob, and Rob is like, what? - He's like that meme where he's like, you get it on your reels and you see that? That's what Rob will it looks like. - How do you see a cookie with a burger? - I don't know. - I was like, those are some really overdone cookies. - Yeah, those are some charred cookies. - For a sweet cookie. - I wouldn't need them. I might put cheese on them and some ketchup though. - I have chips on that one. I'm pretty sure they have chips on that one. Like, it's fine. - So that, like, I was like the accepted chips. We had the same problem in my, in season one, anyway, it was the whole thing. - All right, you had to be, I mean, the tail gating one was so easy. Like you-- - That was great. - They showed a football, I mean, it's like a football. I mean, it's-- - I should have been in a TV. - Yeah, yeah, they do tail gated. They should have shown, did they show corn hole? - No, they show corn. - I liked the flip cups and the solo cups. It was a good one, it was, it was a good one, but it was easy. - Yeah. - But I wanted to yell TV at the TV. - Oh, good. - TV, TV, that would have been hilarious. - So moving on, the next one was beauty. Lisa had the cheese nails, right? And then it's like, that's so cheesy. And then I think her name was Chardae with the beauty. And I thought that was actually pretty easy too. I feel like as a girl, you probably would use and mute every single one of those. It was a lot about timing. - Yeah, I thought that was the easy, breezy, beautiful cover girl, really. I mean, that would have, I would have knocked that out of the park. But this is where I get frustrated and I would tell anyone that's playing on like season three moving forward needs to hear this immediately. Get the hard categories out first. - Yes. - Because these are easy things. These are the ones you want to like ride home on. Like, why would you play the easy ones just so that you were about to get out on a super hard category that you know nothing about later down the line? Like, beauty. - Easy. - For you, if I got beauty, I'm dead. Y'all are acting like, oh, I can't just do beauty. Well, I can't. - Microblading. - I was like, well, it looks like eyebrow twirling or tweezering or whatever. I'm like, this is not, I can't do this. Like, I was watching this. For one, I knew Lisa was going to lose because I wrote in my notes, her outfit was way out there. Did y'all not see what she was wearing? She brought two of those? There's, I can't even imagine she had two of those outfits. And her husband was like, put those on, baby. Those look good. There is no way. - She's good. I thought she'd be pretty good. - I'm just going to be mean, Lisa. I promise, I'm not. But your outfit was not screaming style. - Okay, so it wasn't, didn't Rob say that was like one of the best that he's seen? No, that was. - Yeah. - Duels, you might have been a besto. I was just distracted by her outfit. - But it was close. And maybe the next one. - Oh my gosh, man. I was like, what's she wearing? - Sometimes Rob says things that I just don't agree with and not being the bestoel is one of them. That was not the bestoel. - What was the bestoel to you? What was the bestoel to you then? What was the bestoel? - Ooh. - We're all around. - Not that one. - The worst one was the last one, in my opinion. Okay, I know I just interrupted a great conversation. But my name is Brad and you may be listening to me or any of the other talent we have on this network at HopeCast. So follow us on TikTok. But make sure you leave us a review. We love good reviews here at the HopeCast Network. Now, I guess I'll let you get back to your show. - We'll get there, we'll get there. - We'll get there, but yeah, we'll get there. Sorry, I didn't mean to jump the gun. - All right, the next one was my favorite category, which was actually Maggie and Megan with Halloween, right? - Yeah. - With a Halloween outfit. Was it costumes or outfits? - Costumes, costumes. - Oh, I loved that duo. - Me too. - That was so great. But whenever Maggie was saying lizard... I thought that one was fabulous. Like, I felt bad for Maggie, but I'm really glad Megan won. - Yeah. - Claire, are you a Halloween fan? Do you like dressing up and watching scary movies or what's the deal? - Love scary movies. Do not like dressing up. I love, ever since I was little, I loved passing out candy because I like seeing other people's costumes. - And the opposite of all of that. - You like to dress up? - Oh, I dress up, my little girl was born on Halloween and I went to the hospital dress stop. And my doctor, who's a friend of mine, came dressed up as well. So did my husband. So it was, you know, it was a whole event. It was great. - What were you dressed up as, Heidi? - I wasn't. - Wonder Woman. - And my, oh, no, no, I like Supergirl 'cause it was blue. Supergirl. And my husband was Batman. And the doctor came as Darth Vader with the mask and the lifesaver. So everyone, it's interesting by the time that, you know, he was, we were joking around that, I was already changed 'cause you have to change for, to give the delivery. But every person in the hospital in that floor wanted to come to see the doctor in the Darth Vader outfit. So I'm like, I'm about to have a baby. And there's like a zillion nurses and people that I have no idea what they're doing here. So yeah, it was a cool experience though. - Heidi. - The daughter was born, did your doctor say? - I thought that would have been dreams. - That was the one I did, Claire. Heidi, I have done a lot. I have done a lot of podcasts with you. How have I never heard this story? I'm just imagining this going down right now in my mind. And this is, I want this in a movie. We need this scene in a movie. - I have plenty of pictures. I mean, and then it went my nose. - You need to see that. We need to see that. - The daughter was born, you have them, whatever, and they go and clean them up and bring them up. She comes up with a little pumpkin hat that they give to the kids, 'cause it's a Halloween day. It was the greatest. It really, really was the greatest delivery. - That's so funny, man. I like that story. I wish, that's an amazing story. - Going back to the question, I do like dressing up. I do like giving out candy 'cause the kids, I love seeing the kids. But, I mean, I dress up with my kids and I can also see them walking around. So I love dressing up. Yes, I'm that kind of gal. Oh, I guess that kind of mom. - I love the movies. That's what I like. I just like scary movies. But nobody in my house watches them with me. So I just gotta watch them by myself. - I have to watch them myself too. - I don't care for them. I mean, I watch them, but I don't care for them. - Oh my gosh. If I could get my wife to just say, "Hey, let's watch a scary movie." That would be like a dream for me. - You're a movie. - Mom? Oh my gosh. I like slasher movies. So I'm big in the slashers. I like ghost movies. I'm a sucker for Friday the 13th. I like the old classics, Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Yeah, I like a lot of the old stuff. I'm a, it's back then it was more gory in my own, different kind of gore. - They have Ben Weiss, that's one of them. - Ben Weiss, I like that, which I can't believe I, I was saying it, but it's pretty wise. - Well, that's funny. - I thought Rob was gonna freak out whenever she, when Megan couldn't say Austin Powers, because he's number two. - Well, okay, first I need to ask you, what's your favorite scary movie? Because you asked me, I need to return the question. - I'm a huge sau fan. So, I love sau, but I like really, I enjoy every scary movie. - Okay, so you know I host a movie torture with my friends and we roast movies. Claire, you should come on one night and roast movies with us. - Yes. - I had to get Heidi on. But we did, we did "Saw D." - Okay, I was like not, not that, not the end sauce. Like the last song was really good though. - The one in Mexico. - That was great, it was amazing. It's the second best "Saw of all time." But in my opinion, behind the original. - Yeah, okay. - But we envisioned what John Kramer's like outside of "Saw World." So you had to listen to this, I'll see you in the link. You gotta listen to the word. Does John Kramer drop his kids off at school? Like we wanna know like, what's he doing outside of "Sawing?" So I call it "Saw Ville." - So yeah, I'm interested. - Yeah, I will send it to you. But anyway, people didn't hear us talk about maybe torture. - Bring it back, bring it back. So from Halloween costumes, we go to she inherit Las Vegas which Claire said that she cannot wait for that one. - So excited. - Okay, so moving on, then we had Jose, which his category was painting. And we already talked about that 'cause we're all like painting really? We would suck at it, but maybe, I don't know, we're gonna have to see what they show there. And then Vanessa had safari. And for me, I actually, I like that one a lot. I think it's, there were a couple of them there that it's like, okay, if you're not into safari or survivor or animals and things like that, you might be like stuck, but it was easy enough that people can keep going. So thoughts on that one. - Heidi, I feel like he crapped a brick when he found out that she lived in Africa, right? - I know, I know. - Can I do this? I mean, I felt bad for that guys. - Yeah. - Yeah, I mean, I liked that duel because honestly, like I wouldn't have picked safari because I would be too nervous that I wouldn't know enough. But I was surprised that I knew most of them. - Yeah, yeah. - So, I'm a little curious about this Claire as well. I think he said show Bill at the end with the bird, the very last one, and I think it was right, but it's that time where he just passed. So you have to weigh on, he says show Bill, or maybe he got to run on set show Bill, and it's like just at the busser beaters. So do you think he made it on time there? What do you think? - So in the back, there's a big clock, right? And it was already zero, zero. It's probably already zero, zero, zero point. Six, zero, like a millisecond. - Okay. So at that point, it's still done. - I see. - We had a couple of those that happened that we were like, they got it, it should have paused, but really it was already passed into the zero second period. - Got it. - Yeah. - That was a busser beater. - I feel like they're coloring it different now at the one. Like it looks different than last season. Is that part of the whole flare, the shebang they're doing now, it looks good? - Yeah, it's like the glamorous part. It's like kinda, and I did clarify with the contestant on this season. If they pass, they see the answer on the screen. - Oh, yeah. - Yeah, so say you passed on Frankenstein, it would say Frankenstein. Our season, if you passed, you still didn't know. - Oh, that's a big one. - Yeah, so that's a big change too, 'cause you can't see it. Like you can't see if that's a change, but there's like a lot of different things that they're doing that are very like spicy. - I heard from my connection in the floor that when Heidi and I are on there, we're gonna be levitating. It's gonna be that advanced. (laughing) We're gonna be floating in the air. - All right, that's from the top to you. The kind of like it is. - And they're gonna bring it to us. They're gonna fly us over to duel. Oh, that would be hilarious. - That would be good. - We're gonna be wrong. - Any player's gonna be like, when I was on there in season one, it would be like all these season ones think they know everything, Heidi. - Good morning. - All right, moving on. There's only two left. So this one, without saying what it is, I was like, this is really hard. I don't know if I could do this one. So I wonder if this guy is going back to the hotel to really study, but Michael has constellations for his own category. And I'm like, wow. And then the other person was Ali who had restaurant choices or, sorry, restaurant chains, which I actually was a bit more surprised with me, with those 'cause I was like, oh, I got that. And then I'm like, wait, which one is that? Some of them look a little bit obscure and they're clearly very popular. Thoughts on that one? - Well, what's sad is like, I knew every single restaurant, which my husband would be like, of course you do. I love a chain restaurant. - Oh, did you know the pizza one? The pizza one, I'm like, I've never heard of that. - Oh, yeah, there's one on my, the main street near my house. Oh, yeah, I knew Marcos. - I did not know that. - Please, so let's say you and the hubby are hanging out with hiding her husband and me and my wife. You want us to take you to a chain over a restaurant? No. - No, no, no. Like, I would never make anyone else do it. But like, I love a chain restaurant. - What's your favorite? - Oh, my gosh. - All of garden. - Oh, I know, oh my gosh, this is just food Italian. But I was good for that. There's no Italian restaurant in my town, so I would go for all of garden right now. - So good. But on constellations, like, I would be absolutely screwed because I took astrology in college and I had to drop that class because I had no idea what was up. Like, you couldn't tell, I couldn't tell you where the North Star was. I couldn't tell you anything. I know where the sun is. And that's only because it's up half the time. - So I have an app. I'm terrible at astrology, but I have Sky View app. You should download this app. - I have, I have the same. - Yeah, and you can like just hold it and see everything. So I can like look up right now and see below me where everything's so you can learn. I would be doing that right now if I was, I would be scared 'cause it'd be over for me. I call my wife and say I'm done soon, just once I get up there. - Let's see you soon. - Yeah, I'm gonna humiliate myself on national television. They're gonna be like, Brad didn't give him one right. - Actually, so talking about the very last one, which I thought it was the, maybe they timed it in a way that they put this one at the end of the episode. I don't know, but to me, it was very revealing. That's the one that we see Angie freaking out. Pretty much crying. You get to see, I don't know if it's producers or makeup people, but you get to see some of the staff people helping her 'cause she was freaking out 'cause she picked the young guy behind her name, Andrew, and he had stocks. Thoughts on that one? - So I, okay, first I thought that was so sweet that she was having a panic. Like, I don't mean that in a sad way. I don't mean that I'm excited that she's having a panic. Like, that's not fun, but it's really cool to be able to see that side part because there is a team of people that's talking to you before you go on. And me, I mean, your heart is racing. You're about to be competing for what could be your last duel to get to $250,000? - Yeah. - And of course, you made friends already. Like, so you feel bad at the possibility of you going home or a friend going home. So I feel for her. And I texted my friends. I was like, "Angie just seems like such a doll." And then after she beats him, it goes to the credits for next episode. - Yes. - She competes a lot and she does really well. And she was like, "What's something that a season one person didn't do?" I was like, "A girl, I just didn't do it." You and said you were great. And are you about to be just not a terror? - I don't know, but I'm very, I'm very curious. And I'm telling you, they gave so much with her that I was, I thought that was fun. And it made it more real to me, right? You're seeing the emotions. - I kind of a pet peeve of mine. I hate the previews. Like, like Survivor, they spend three minutes talking and showing the big brothers horrible about this. I don't need to see everything up to there. And then the previews give away too much. I'm calling my shot, she's gone next week. - Well, I must say, I actually fast forwarded to the beginning 'cause they were giving me too much. And I also want to be surprised. And I catch, I do see the little details. And then I remember and I'm like, "Oh yeah, this person is gonna last because of this." So I fast forwarded 'cause I thought they were giving out too much at the beginning in the intro. - Yeah, I didn't watch the intro. - Up at the dual, like at the end you can see them at the dual table. That's right. - The podium? - I don't like that. - They should show that on tables. The category on tables, show the dual table. So I already know who's gonna be like competing. I don't like that. - Yeah, I agree, I agree. All right. - If you want to watch it, I fast forward it. I'm good on that. - Yeah. - All right, so 92 players from 100 to 92. So I think we had about nine duels in this one episode. Any thoughts on the preview? Do you watch the whole preview at the end that gave us a lot? Any thoughts beyond what we just said? - No, I'm just very interested to see what Angie wants to do that season one didn't do. - Yeah. - And I'm looking her already. - How about you? - Yeah, how about you Brad? - I did not watch the preview 'cause I was grabbing my computer to walk down here. So I cannot really, I can start watching it just so we can talk about at the end of the show how we'll make sure I watch it next time. But all in all, where do you rate this? I think it was a good start to a season. It was, it's our start, our journey to $250,000. - Mm-hmm. - So a lot of money to play for. - I must say that I like it. I like the pace, the pacing, it was fast. I don't know if it felt different than the previous seasons or maybe it gets lower later on, but it felt really, really fast. So I like that. - I think they put like just enough filler in like where you can see the reactions on the floor. You can see things happening on the side. Like it made it more real like you were competing with them, which we didn't have on our season. So I think that this is gonna be, but it's gonna hold people's attention. So hopefully it continues to be really successful. - I wanna be the gal on there that they cut to. So I was going, "What? "What? "I wanna be that guy, just shazam." And then they just cut to me and cut away. I'm just that one guy with the one looking dumbfounded every time players going up for her duel. That's what I mean. - Not until I said seven. - Yeah, I know. - One quick question. So it's my family a little crazy that we're all screaming the answers or is every household that way that we are like competing at home? - Everyone is like that. It's so fun. I think the best part of this show is that everyone can play. - Yeah. - Yes. - My kids, my husband, everyone, almost a dog too, but no, I didn't say that. But yeah, everyone is like literally like saying it loud. So if you didn't say it out loud, you didn't know it. That's kind of how we take it. - Yeah. Or I just get distracted. One of the two. It's like. - Yeah. (laughing) - All right, Brad, I think that is it. It was so fun. I'm excited. From '92, we'll see how many we get to next episode. So Brad, why don't you wrap it up for us? - Yeah, if you like the floor, you can watch it wind player. When does it come on? - On Wednesdays on Fox, 9/8 Central. - Yes, eight o'clock for you and I. Nine o'clock for Heidi. - That's right, depending on your east coast, right? - Yeah. So yeah, watch the floor and then listen to our recap. If you're a floor fan, 'cause we know there's some floor fans out there, share this with your friends, 'cause we want you to listen to our recap. We've got Claire, she's gonna be joining us, and we're gonna have guests that's gonna pop in. - Yeah. - We don't wanna tell you who they are, but we'll have guests. And who will break down appearances on the floor. So I'm excited, this is gonna be great. And I still don't know if there's another show, Claire, that recaps the floor. I think we may be the only one. - Only and best. - And that's right. - Only and best, yes, we are the best, we're. Yeah, so anyway, hey, for Claire, for Heidi, my name is Brad, we will see you next week on our floor recap episode two. - All right, bye. - Woo. (upbeat music) (laughing) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music)
