It's a walk-to-work mobile Hearthstone podcast, episode 1364, I did look at that bit, I did look up the episode number, I just got to check the date. I mean look, let's face it, if I say Thursday, you're going to know what that means, now the phone will tell me 26th, so I've got right, gosh where's the month going? It's really getting over this, anyway look, today's episode is the 30.4.3 balance changes have been teased, and look, if I'm honest, I kind of thought they were teased yesterday, and often what that means is we maybe get a patch today, but we haven't had a patch today. I think I don't know exactly why, but it's possibly to do with the launch, the relaunch of the China server, apparently that went live this week, and by all accounts it's going alright, I've seen at least one person has made legend already in China, actually a couple of people, so that's pretty cool, but I have to imagine the hands are a little bit full with that, so maybe that's why we haven't actually seen this patch come through yet, but it does feel unusual to have teases for balance changes, and then hear nothing more for, well at least, at least 24 hours so far, but you know, there are things of foot, and those are good things, and we should see what that means, but it does mean we can talk about the teased changes today, and I don't know, maybe usually, I don't know, I think actually what we usually see is teases today, and then the balance patch tomorrow, and we saw the teases early, maybe, I don't know, anyway, there are three cards in standard that look like they're going to get changed, two nerfs to Big Spell Mage, which I don't know, it does feel bad to lose two, I don't know if the win rate is too out of line, it is still reasonable from what I can see, like it's still a good deck, and people are still winning with it, and people are also winning with other things as well, but it certainly feels terrible to lose two, when like those tsunamis come out of the gate, quick if I guess I'm not winning this game then, like the games that seem fair are the games where they don't get to do that, because they don't get to do that every time, so like I guess that's the issue there, I mean I guess in some ways, if they make Big Spell Mage worse, what's Mage doing again now, I don't know, but it does feel like Mage was given the opportunity to behave and didn't, and Mage should go back into the corner and think about what it's done, perhaps, and so the cards getting nerfed, Surfer Lapod and Portal Mancer Siler, Skylar, I've heard it said a few different ways, and I'm not entirely sure which is right, I know I'm coin-conceded, which by the way, shout out to Coin-concede, and I said that because I've just remembered to do the patron, thank you today, is Wicked Good, I did look that up too, Wicked Good is one of the longer running hosts of Coin-concede as it stands now, and is one of the patrons here, so patreon.com/spiscuit, if you can afford to support, like, I have a lot of time for Wicked Good, before he was a host on Coin-concede, he was hosting his own solo podcast, and I'm pretty sure one of the reasons he's a patron of our work here is because he was like, when he started solo-concede, I kind of want to do this, but I feel like I'm ripping you off, unlike my dude, my friend, just go for it, it's fine, as you can tell by the way, I'm crossing the motorway now after having dropped Mongoose at school, and it's a bit rainy today, not, it's one of those things, the rain doesn't feel like it's falling from the sky, so much is just, there's little bits of rain blowing around, which is actually less convenient because you can't really fend it off with an umbrella very well, my feet are already wet, I had to jump wrong which I had to take off because it was wet, but it's not that warm, anyway, so I feel like we're going to get guilty about the whole thing, and it's a patron because of that, but I really appreciate the sport because it does go a long way to help defray the cost associated with the everything that we do, anyway, Coin-concede, I know that both, I think it was wicked good and Edelweiss were talking about it in the last week, and I was saying Skyler, and Edelweiss has links to the esports team, like maybe that is the actual proper pronunciation, I don't know, but that cards up for nothing, that was the card that I said was, oh, it's probably not the best thing in the deck, and then Viscisynik said, yeah, it is, it's the best thing in the deck, and I was like, oh, what, a color me wrong, fair enough, so Ed getting nerfed makes sense, I do think though the real problem with that card is that it allows you to play road cards, because I don't think the big spell mage deck works without being able to play road cards, it's just also that Skyler, Siler, Portal Mancer also helps enable the big spell mage stuff, so I guess just making it more expensive is probably what they're going to do, I don't know if they'll make it bigger as well, or how much more expensive they'll make it, because really I think the bottom line is like just being able to play road cards makes that deck happen. Now the second card that nerfing is Serflopod, this is interesting because in the, I don't want to say vanilla, that's not the word, I mentioned earlier this week, or late last week, the marriage I'm in there is my second marriage, I'm head of an ex-wife, now I don't bear her any ill will whatsoever, we were just young and got married after five years, we're not, maybe we jumped the gun on that one a little bit, anyway, one of the things that we liked to do was wind her up, and by we I mean her, her sisters, and I, she had multiple sisters, we would like to call things that were plain vanilla, no it was never a road, we like to call vanilla ice cream plain, and she would always, it's not plain, it's got a vanilla, it's a flavour and we're like it's plain, so when I say vanilla in the sense of vanilla big spell mage, I mean plain big spell mage, normal big spell mage, suddenly reminded me that they still like to wind her up, maybe that's what happened when it's women wrong, it's fine, it's not, anyway, big spell mage, standard big spell mage, as we saw it initially, well actually not initially, funnily enough, but we'll get onto that in a sec, immediately, like very quickly the, the standardish list of big spell mage involved, playing sofala pod, which is the five mana five six, good deal for stats, and the next spell you draw is cast and drawn, which is actually pretty reasonable rate, but it wasn't until we had this deck come together with the road cards thanks to the portal manta that it started to shine, because then there are various ways you can draw a spell from your deck, and if you're only playing big spells, then what surfala pod draws you is a giant spell, it makes you, you know, cast your tsunami or makes a big minion with sunset, volley and all that stuff, I guess, same thing is true here as the portal manta, as you just make surfala pod more expensive, like it's not that you can change what it does very easily, and I mean also, when we're dealing with a balanced patch like this, they're looking to change things easily, like, yeah, technically in a vacuum what you can say surfala pod, cast a spell with, that's, you know, the next spell you draw is cast and drawn, wow, well, what if we change entirely what it does, like completely mechanically change what it does, well that's going to involve some heavy lifting, like, you're now going to test to make sure what the new thing does, you've got to design what the new thing is, change it, and then also that's just a bit jarring to the player base, like in a sense, if there is a precedent set which like this card used to do one thing, now it does an entirely different thing, like now everyone's like, well I don't know if I can have any trust at the cards that I wanted to collect and play with, they're going to do the same thing ever, so we're pretty sure a surfala pod is still going to say the next spell you draw is cast when drawn, and I guess the way you make that better is by making it more expensive, you could technically also make it smaller, don't know about that though, like, the problem with surfala pod is it curves nicely into under the sea, so the six minus bell which is draw a different spell than this and then create a minion at that cost, and if you're only playing big spells then it's pretty straightforward what you're going to do, and watercolour elemental, it was funny, I kept calling it watercolour elemental, if the watercolour elemental had been not in the mini set but had been, sorry, not in Paris and Paris but actually been in the travelling travel agency mini set, it would have been watercolour elemental, it was pretty funny, anyway it's not, it's not, actually it wasn't in Paris and Paris either was it, it was in, it was being a workshop, anyway that got buffed right, remember we went from a four minus four, four down to a three minus three, not really the problem, although admittedly being able to play it earlier does help a lot with just drawing a tsunami and making it cheaper and then like getting to play it on turn six or something, anyway that is also technically a side to come up what about to talk about, the fact that you can go surfala pod on five mana and then just follow up with a watercolour elemental, regardless of whether it was four mana or three mana and just draw a tsunami and immediately cast it, that's pretty strong right, so surfala pod obviously quite good there, one of the, the high rolls this deck does is surfala pod on five mana and I'm very clearly saying on five mana, surfala pod on five mana followed up by something that draws you a thing with it, it's under the sea or a watercolour elemental, or podomanta skyla slash sila whatever, those are the high rolls the deck can do and everything else is kind of fair, now the reason I've been sort of alluding to something here is that there is a new version of big spellmates that's been floating around, I know somebody played it to high legend and LVGE played a version to high legend and it's got non big spells in it, it's got regular spells in it and it doesn't run surfala pod, once you're not running surfala pod you can run any spells you like, still runs portalman so of course, because and even in you got some cheap spells you just turn us an army into something cheap and also runs galactic sp, the galactic orb thing, why can't I remember what it's called, not that it matters, the big 10 cost spell, LVGE's version was running that inside ETC, so the 10 cost spell that plays a spell from each cost you played this game, and it's very strong, LVGE runs it in the ETC so that they can pull it out only when they need it, so the podomanta skyla doesn't exactly accidentally make it zero mana, now this seems like a complete aside but I'm now top 2000 legend, I've mentioned how I was 4000 legend and then I was in 3000, I was like I guess I've gained some ranks, well I guess I've gained some ranks again and I'm now like 1800 legend, which is technically 11 times territory and I don't really want to talk too much about that today, but some of what I've been playing for the last half a week is not quite the LVGE version but the version that no hands gamer has been playing with it, the galactic orb thing is actually still in the main deck, and I keep drawing the orb, even though I get it my only hand, I mulligan it away and I go great, and then I draw it anyway and skyla keeps making it zero mana, like the whole reason to put it in, you know, ETC is to prevent skyla doing that and I keep drawing it and skyla making it zero mana, I'm like this is the worst, I really should be playing the LVGE version and then I'll win anyway, and I'm about hmm, maybe it's not so bad, anyway, that deck does not run Surflopod, so a nerf to Surflopod making it more expensive clearly makes standard vanilla who are big spell mage worse, but this other big spell mage that's going around with the galactic orb, which is more fair and perhaps more like what they're intending, could still work nicely and even though skyla will get a nerf and it makes the deck worse, it depends how much they nerf her by as to whether that deck is still good and it seems still good because I'm down, well I was 1700 but obviously air quotes decay is between 1800 currently, I've climbed probably well, probably into 11 times territory and I didn't mean to, I posted a screenshot of my ranks wild and standard ranks in discord saying I'm like the dog who's caught the car and doesn't know what to do with it, it's like I didn't, I've spent months saying I don't really want 10 times 11 times multiplier because it makes the client's a legend too easy, but then this last month or two, I've just enjoyed playing Hearthstone so much like doing it and I've been winning, I mean that's a topic in and itself and maybe we'll talk about that next week but it's a little, I'm like ah because part of me is like oh yeah I'm doing well, I'm still good but the other part of me is like yeah but do we want to be here, I don't know, anyway so that version of Big Spell Mage which I almost played today is potentially going to survive these nerfs quite well and maybe that's the intent, maybe the intent is that we still playing galactic orb thing, celestial galactic, I should really look up the card name but where's the fun in that, that deck may actually still be all right, anyway the last card that is getting balance changed is Turbulus which is getting buffed and I'm a little confused by this one, so Turbulus is the shaman legendary 4-3/4, stats a little lower than you want clearly but it's a hunter tourist which means shaman gets to play hunter cards, now predominantly where we've seen the sea play so far is in Highlander Shaman which is a fine deck, Highlander Shaman was one of the earlier decks where people were like hey this actually stands a chance in its Big Spell Mage, it also is pretty good against a lot of other things, not everything of course, some matchups for it is like you've got to get holiday early and if you don't you lose and that's not necessarily something you want to rely on, so it's not the perfect deck but people were playing it and it's quite good and that's where we saw Turbulus and so buffing that card is interesting because it feels like if you're going to buff that card what you're trying to say is like there are other decks out there that we think people should try running Turbulus and here's my thinking on why Turbulus seems like the strange card to buff, it's already fine in shaman, I mean maybe it's not terrific right, but Reno Shaman's happy to have it and it seems to perform quite well when you play it, why are we buffing that card, I feel like if you want to buff an archetype that Turbulus is keeping your flow or Turbulus is built around you want to buff the other cards that make you want to do it, I don't think you want to buff the single legendary card that enables your access to hunter cards because you don't want to be in a position where shaman's like well we just run Turbulus because it's really good, what hunter cards have you got, I don't need hunter cards, I'm just running Turbulus because it's really good, if you're running Turbulus you need to be running hunter cards so there needs to be a reason to run the hunter cards and it's not just because Turbulus is good enough now, so I'm confused why we're buffing this one and not something else, I don't and I don't really know what it is but interestingly we did see a new, well I say we, Ben Heathstone, who we all love obviously, Ben Heathstone posted on Twitter for an event quest that we have this week, that part of the celebrating the China server coming back, like the first quest was like play 15 cards from the mini set and he's like look here's the thing you can do to play a lot of new set cards, here's actually a deck I found on HS replay that actually plays six mini set cards, that's pretty good and it was like a shaman, it was like a big shaman deck but not like the big shaman with cliff dives and I talked about how much I loved that last week, this was a big shaman, it was running Turbulus instead of I guess cookie right, it's running Turbulus so they had access to cash cow and parrot sanctuary and of course bird watching, bird watching meant that you could find the things you wanted more readily, parrot sanctuary, I didn't know this but parrot sanctuary stacks, you can play parrot sanctuary, that's the two main location where your next battle cry cost one less, battle cry minion cost one less and when you play battle cry minion you get to reopen, so it's got three durability, so you can play parrot sanctuary on two and just tap it immediately, it's not this turn, it's the next battle cry minion and then in two turns it reopens again on turn four, you tap it again, now the next battle cry minion you play costs two less, then in turn six you do it again and now you're probably playing flight master dungar for cheap because it's three less and this is just straight up on turn six if you want or earlier because maybe you got down a cash cow because you can play cash cows as well and things like bird watching allow you to find the dungar more easily, fairy tale forest allows you to find the dungar more easily, in fact fairy tale forest makes dungar cheaper too and so the same way that cliff dive shaman was running just the razzle dazzlers and the hagatha as your battle cry minions for fairy tale forest this shaman deck was running just turbulence and flight master dungar and so between bird watching and fairy tale forest you're finding your dungar early and between cash cow and parrot sanctuary you're getting dungar out early and that's why she's pretty cool, so it's kind of like the whale druid list that's been around with hydration station but shaman and probably not as good because it doesn't ramp as well as druid probably not as good because it doesn't have dehydration station but it's a thing it's possible and like that is technically a turbulence deck but again if you want to make this deck better i don't think turbulence is the card you buffets everything else you want turbulence to be a thing that allows you to play the two classes worth of cards not the thing that you're playing it for how they buff it we should see i guess maybe tomorrow or if the patches delayed later even this is probably tomorrow right but i'm really curious to see how and why they buff turbulence because i don't quite understand it anyway that's fine those the belt changes that have been teased and we're expecting i'm guessing tomorrow but we should see again there's a lot up in the air right now with the China server i mean other things i've noticed as well i saw a picture of kibla and cantaloupe with a rickulous hat at head office mark mix visit office as well in the last week what's that clark health stone is at the blizzard head offices at nanoheim as well and you're like oh what could be happening look last expansion perils and paradise they had a thing where there were a bunch of content creators invited to head office and they played each other with new decks they they designed the decks that were in the you know the deck recipe decks those were designed by players so they actually had their names on them which is kind of cool they designed those decks and then they played them each other so there was like ryan versus d9 which was called jambre versus baby bear which is awesome because they're maybe married now but at least it's not they're engaged like there was these cool pairings language hacker and housewife who are married like really cool to get them to get a playing the new decks each other it was great content i'd be shocked if this is not what they're doing again which means expansion soon maybe we should see anyway lots of cool things going on i can see why blizzard might have a lot of stuff going on between relaunching in the china server and maybe trying to sort out this stuff ah to get this balance patch out but we should see anyway a mess is for my wife about what gert is doing this is one of gert's favorite days of the week this is the day she's not a daycare she calls it gertie mummy day it's not really her name she doesn't call that she calls it by her actual name i've just realized i don't think i've unmuted the phone the game in phone not that the i've unmuted the phone i haven't turned up the volume in game which means i have to do a there were arena christmas maybe coming back so but i know we'll like for the longest time i didn't play shaman because i wasn't inspired to play any shaman decks i'm sure there will be something in priest and or demon hunter at some point that i'm inspired to play and it's fine over a long enough timeline we'll get back to it yeah that's the i'm trying to wipe water off my phone and i can hear the game responding but what we're playing today's death night which is next on of this um it's uh frost frost i'm holy which we've played before marin manipulator but i saw a new version floating around that has the busy peon the new two-minute two three death rattle make your next location cost two less the deck only has new horizons oh with no that's the truth though uh horizons edge that's what it's called the the death night location so i don't know if you give this thing reborn then i guess your next horizons edge cost zero and that maybe is good enough like i do remember playing this deck a lot maybe a lot of the time is like how can i spend all my minor effectively and maybe the peon just really makes that work so that's why i wanted to try this today not because i'm at uh 1800 legend i don't want to jeopardize my ranking like i am fully prepared to jeopardize my ranking a lot at this point for content uh because then i can fall back into ten times and not have to fret about having 11 times anyway here we go that's still in casual because i was in casual to complete a quest last night that's right where we got now there we go 1827 legend which i know probably is 11 times multiplier territory what a change from two years ago when i was all about trying to get to 11 times i just wanted to prove that i could i think and then once i did i was like but but now what and then i was like i found that the plan was just much more rewarding if i was at 10 times because it was longer anyway not wiping the screen again half as opposed to warlock so i'm guessing pain wallock or fatigue wallock both can do very powerful things question is how we respond to them and whether we respond quicker so we have nothing handled with a minor casualties a miracle salesman hardcore cultist and a marim manipulator the release we have a one two three play there cultist being on three not not the most board presence we could take things off the board on the other side and that may be worthwhile and then coin turn five marim manipulator which is probably juiced up maybe we could full keep here now it doesn't give us something to play on four yet but if i just keep the one two three what am i hoping to draw? i'm telling my marim manipulator this four keeps here it goes i can't really see in this light what my opponent's keeping maybe a full mulligan hard to tell you know cloudy day sunlight rain on the screen let's see what kind of wallock this is and uh party fiend probably pain but also i think fatigue can be running that we'll draw a razzle dazzle that's nice it's not going to do anything we play a miracle salesman turn one now technically we have available to us coining out hardcore cultist next turn if they get too much stuff and there's an aluminium geode and they are trading two of their minions into my miracle salesman so we are less inclined to need to do that now they still have one party fiend one aluminium geode which drawn a frost strike that's a nice play we do later but clearly we just run out mining casualties this turns water on my phone ah trying to wipe it on my shirt which is also wet that's clearly not doing anything all right so they have a two one when it dies they'll take two and draw a card pretty good another one one they're trading into one of the silver hand recruits and they're also trading into the goal interesting they're limiting my board presence now they're playing another element of geode putting them down to 21 we've just got a silver hand recruit with a goal in it and that's our turn great so we get three amount of this and we can play hardcore cultist we don't need to play hardcore cultist we also have a frost strike which is fine but i don't think we need to do play that on the minion we have a harboring over winter a harbinger of winter and we also have a snake oil so if we just go to play something for one for two mana the question is do we trade a silver hand recruit for their ah geode to keep the harbinger of winter alive or do we let them trade into the harbinger of winter with the geode i kind of want to do that because then it maybe gets us cold feet and cold feet is the kind of thing that could be really good against them but if we're if we're definitely playing two mana instead of the hardcore cultist then i think we could trade the snake oil but also i think i just want a hardcore cultist they've already played a fighty fiend and the minions are all gone i don't know how much better the hardcore cultist gets we just jam out this one now it kills the geode we go face with the silver hand recruit which is still alive and it puts them like they're now on 16 so he's pretty good now 16 is good if you're trying to get them down low which we are but also they're trying to get down to molten giant since they get there's a flame imp putting them to 13 they've got three mana left they're pointing something that's a spirit spirit bomb at the hardcore cultist that puts them to nine and then there's a flame juggler it's going to be pretty big it's an eight eight solid we're just drawing harbinger of winter i think we just play out two harbinger of winter and then we trade our silver hand recruit and the ghoul into the flame imp we're still on 29 so we're not in any risk of getting killed but that's an eight eight flame juggler it's rather large now they're on nine we could go face pretty soon but i think having the two uh two harbinger of winter and play and no flame imp that they could trade into is is better than having their silver hand recruit still there and then letting the flame it trade into one of the harbinger of winter so two harbinger of winter silver hand recruit and the resulting ghoul into the flame imp that leaves them with an eight eight and me with two three twos they are kind of obliged to trade into the three twos with their eight eight because they're on nine unless they have an infernal in hand which is type one they've oh no they just played uh uh wasn't mass production or whatever it is it's done three damage from them drawing two cards and shuffle to cover them in there's a blood tree i'm putting into one so they have an infernal and there's the infernal here in the 15 so maybe they don't need to trade now and they're gone face putting me to 21 good turn for them we're drawing a miracle salesman we have six corpses so we can mariminipulator here if we want the thing is that we do mariminipulator and it hits the infernal once we still have to trade both silver hand both harvesters at winter into it to get through it which doesn't seem good but if we trade one of them in now and we see whether it gets us a uh what's even called a horn of winter then that can last you also get a hero powder or what's it called a frost strike there and i think that helps anyway trade one of them in what is the drawers cold feet or another frost strike yeah try the second entity infernal there's a horn of winter okay cool so they have an eight eight and a two two over there so i think we just coin out the mariminipulator and then we're going to horn of winter and frost strike maybe to see what it does well that's a lot of them going face well let's put them their flangeugler is an eight six and the tree enters still there so we're going to horn of winter we're going to frost strike the uh two two they're on seven a lisa goldlaid hardcore call list northern exposure discover spell from your deck if it's frost freezing enemy minion that's pretty good they got six mile next turn we got six mile next turn and you're just going to take the hardcore cultist because between frost strike and trading the snake oil we can actually get the the uh finale of the thing okay there's a molten giant and a okay a tree and oh another infernal oh damn they played another tree ant so they felt a two but then they played another infernal so now they're on 15 and they've attacked us down to 13 we've just drawn risker which is pretty good clearly risker wants to trade into the infernal uh the problem there is of course there's a three two and a two two over there that we don't necessarily want to have it now they're played a cult near fight so stuff cost three if we want to play the uh what's it called the hardcore cultist we need to spend three mana first so we can do that with frost strike which we would do on yeah i think we can make this work so frost strike on the juggler we don't get a card out of it mary manipulator trades into the infernal now hardcore cultist zero mana it kills everything but the juggler and the mountain giant now we play zero mana risker zero mana risk trades with the eight one flame juggler and steals us an eight six molten giant great they're on 13 we're on 13 we have a two one and eight six they have two cards they have three cards in hand now we still have an hand a resule dazzler set to one sure barrel brim pretty good we have a snake oil and we have a miracle so we don't have great things in hand and they're clearly imprisoning our molten giant which is fine oh now they're playing a malefic rook which was from to eight i mean they don't lethal us next turn there's a down with the ship now down with the ship makes our resule dazzler better but we can't afford to play at this turn but if i was to hero power trade cultist and down with the ship on the malefic rook it also limits the amount of damage we can take they're on eight they're play two infernals and whatever molten giant waking up again in a moment so i think that's what we're probably going to do we're going to play miracle salesman hero power down the ship there's five mana so we start by trading the snake oil because see what else we can draw oh okay natural talent we natural talent we don't get to hero power but it does make our uh uh thing better next turn i store on some new horizons dry-scale deputy so now i think we're trading into the share of bowel brim leading them look at the rook up let's try the dry-scale deputy play new horizons trade into share of bowel brim and cast down with the ship okay so now they have a five six and they're at eight their prison is not open we're on 13 we have a two two i think our molten giant there's a frost plague that puts me to six nice and next time we get to play resule dazzler for three and hopefully they can't find three more damage on top two kill us then maybe they can up there's a trolley problem that's pretty good i'm gonna call it near fight now we can't need a rush minion from the resule dazzler or we are actually dead on board yikes so maybe the natural thing is there's a busy peon not useful uh even if we hear a power here to take out the three one trolley problem we're in eight they have a five six or three three and a three two so we definitely need to find something off the resule dazzler or they've got us maybe i need to play resule dazzler for one next turn well we got a taunt that's a excellent start add one one trades into their three one we play the miracle salesman so we got a four four a five five a four five and a five five taunt not bad they have a five six oh no i forgot that their prison is open again so i'm just putting the phone in my pocket and they leave for us i knew the prison was a problem whoops okay so share of bowel brim took out our molten giant which meant we couldn't pressure them and then malefic rook so the problem here is that what i should have done was uh trade into i shouldn't have played the the natural talent i should have gone with the plan to trade down the malefic rook because when the malefic rook attacked us to eight the following turn and then stayed there as a uh five six that was more threatening to us as a crock across that period of time because they had a trolley problem in hand i don't know whether they drew it then or not but the trolley problem meant that they now had enough damage and play after attacking us from the rook once to finish us off they then also drew a cult nephite or they had to call nephite not sure which it is and so that meant that we had to get enough stuff to take some of their damage off the board and block what they had coming and i was like i think we've got i think we've got it forgetting of course that they had a prison uh the share of valbrim jail cell thing uh and that was enough to take out our taunt and attack us for a living while we were on eight now if we had instead of playing natural talent uh what did it give us something to give us a new horizons and it gave us a two-two tri-scale deputy so neither of those things did anything so then all the natural talent did was plus one on that dazzler which to be fair did give us an extra role to get a taunt it's just that i think it needed to be rush minions not taunt minions anyway there's a good one there's the six five excavate neutral minion and that would have taken out the five six uh would have left us on two i think uh but that's that's an unfortunate never mind that's how it goes pain wallock obviously is a very difficult matchup i think mostly we were a little unlucky that's when we played the mary manipulator or maybe not right there's five five pings three targets one of which is two health one of which is eight health like you can't really expect more than two pings to land on that eight health minion we got one ping on it if we got two pings on it we still weren't in a great position i mean i guess they would have been lower in health but then like i was kind of hoping one of the things at least would hit the uh tree end so we didn't have to worry about that but anyway it would have been three pings on the juggler one ping on the tree end or four pings on the juggler would have been perfect obviously because then horn of winter uh and frost strike would have been great i think i had two frost strikes actually so drawing two horn of winters instead of the second frost strike off the uh watch them call them the harbinger of the winters would have been great too but then also i think they're called feet in the deck so that also wouldn't have been great anyway we were in a tough position and i think what really lost us the game there other than whatever decisions i made was the fact that they had a second infernal the second infernal allowed them to keep dropping out big things and taking a lot of damage uh and that got them there i mean that turn when i played a frost strike that cost one extra thanks to the cult near five because i no benefit other than to deal three damage to the dominion uh then allowed me to play the uh hardcore cultist which allowed me to deal two damage killing everything but an eight one and he uh and an eight six and then playing rescue for free after it cost four a moment ago uh to take the eight six i thought that was a pretty sweet play so the fact they followed that with the sheriff bowelbrim i mean look the sheriff bowelbrim was also so two infernals followed by sheriff bowelbrim that's what they needed and that's what they had sometimes that's how it goes so that's all right now i just saw a train go as i got to the platform so we're probably still waiting another minute or two but that's okay we drew the peon we didn't draw the location we drew the peon the turn before we died so it didn't do anything it's a shame but i can certainly see with this deck how this is good i mean that game we were not struggling for mana too much i guess we kind of were but we had an early curve and we were spending our mana effectively and quickly so we weren't in a position where having the peon reducing the uh horizon's edge to zero would have been great or just two would have been great but i mean i could see how that definitely works in this deck so it'd be nice nice to play it again anyway i should probably sign off because i'm on a platform and it's raining i've got the umbrella up but i kind of need to
