Shaare Teshuva-17
(speaks in foreign language) We are on, let's say, (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) Is to remind people that this world is very fleeting. (speaks in foreign language) But the point of this world is to use everything that's in this world to work to have proper worship of Akkadosh Baruchu. (speaks in foreign language) He's told you, in the first line and the last line, he's telling you what this whole intention of the book was. Why, he says (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) First Baruch says, (speaks in foreign language) that everything in the world, (speaks in foreign language) is the most nonsense. Nonsense of nonsense, (speaks in foreign language) Nonsense, nonsense, everything is nonsense. (speaks in foreign language) Have you literally translated into air? (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) Says the (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) You know, when you hear somebody say something, you have to also take into account, who is the person that's saying it, right? Someone who tells you, (speaks in foreign language) everything in the world is nonsense, who needs to work for money, maybe they talk about a guy who don't have any money, like for him, okay? It's very easy to say money is irrelevant if he doesn't have any money, right? (speaks in foreign language) 'Cause the guy is, (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) The Pasuc in Melachim says that money in Ushalayim was so abundant, the people of the Ushalayim were so wealthy that the pebbles on the floor had the same value as the money in their pocket. No value, the money was, they had so, there was so much, (speaks in foreign language) Yeah, (speaks in foreign language) So everybody had, it's like, (speaks in foreign language) money means nothing, right? The kids are playing pebbles with, you know, hundred dollar bills, nothing, everything's worth it. (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) Somebody in that level, that status can tell you, okay listen, now that I had it all, I got to the top of the mouth. I have a view that you've never seen. I'm telling you, it's all nonsense. (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) Yeah, no, not at the end of his life. No, no, no, not at the end of his life, in the middle. (speaks in foreign language) The last puzzle, except for (speaks in foreign language) At the end of the day, (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) Everything I heard, everything I learned, I'm gonna tell you summation of all of life. (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) That is the purpose of man, to learn Torah, to keep the mitzvah for your God. That's it, in a nutshell. Okay. (speaks in foreign language) Someone who God blessed with intellect. (speaks in foreign language) Someone who has a little bit of a second will think, realize, you know what, God sent me down here into this world for a reason, to do the mitzvah, to keep the Torah out, to learn Torah, (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) Put you down in this world, (speaks in foreign language) I should close my eyes to the reason why God sent me here, (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) If you did what you were supposed to do in this world, properly, (speaks in foreign language) When you come back to (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) He's gonna have eternal joy. (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) 'Cause like the king who sends out his messenger, and he gives him a mission. Here's the mission, I need you to take care of this for me. And he goes out there, and he was able to be successful, and how excited he's gonna be when he comes back to the king to tell him, "Ah, done." And he can go, "Ah, party time, job well done, "unbelieve only gonna give this guy "what he did what he's supposed to do, right?" What about the other guy on the other side of the fence? The guy gives you a mission, and he gives you a mission. So you call it, you go, you start out. First day, you're excited. Have a mission for the king! Alright, so you start the journey, start the journey. It's a long journey till you get to where you gotta go, do what you gotta do. I go, first day, I'm on that. Second day, okay, third day of the day, okay, yeah, yeah, it's a long day, okay, so I'll take my time, get there. It's okay, it's a long journey anyway, I have a drink on the way. Get down, maybe I'll take a little nap over here, I'll go for a swim, take my time, alright? Before he knows it, the years are passed, the guy's still only halfway there, and the king's waiting, the king's waiting for him to finish this mission. (speaking in foreign language) So as I put you on the path with Jorge, I guided you, right? On the path of Guatemala or the York bar, (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) To hear back that you've done what you're supposed to do. (speaking in foreign language) There's a lot of people come to this world with a lot of skills. I have to stop from it, it's important here. God gave all of us a skill. Every one of us has something that we were sent to this world to use to help others. Whatever that is, for some people, it's intellectual, it's money, for some people, it's emotions, caring, it's whatever it is. Everybody was sent here with something that they're supposed to do for others. And when we don't, so then God gets, what's going on over here? I sent the guy on a mission, I gave him a mission, I gave him the tools to do it, I gave him everything he needs to fulfill that mission, and the guy's on vacation. We need to realize, think about it, takes a little bit of difficulty, a little introspection to figure out what it is that I, where's that skill that God gave me, that I have that somebody else doesn't have? What is it? Once you figure it out, then you're like, okay, why did God give me this? There's a reason that I have this ability that someone else doesn't have. What am I supposed to do with it? He needs this, what can I help? It's all about helping the other person, that's what it's for. God didn't send it for you to keep to yourself. So if you were given intellect, and you were able to acquire knowledge, that's to share. If you were given money beyond what you need, well beyond your, it's not for you to sit in the bank, it's for you to share. It's for you to help build other institutions, for you to do things. If you were given, you know, abilities for connections with other people, and then your job is to gather those people, and help them figure out what they need, whatever it is, everybody in this world is nobody here, that does not have a gift from Hashem that somebody else needs. So figure out what it is, and figure out how to use it. (speaks in foreign language) Okay, the clock's ticking, basically, is what he's saying over here. You have abilities, you were giving them, don't go on vacation for your whole life. (speaks in foreign language) You know, you need to stop putting money in the bank, in Shama'in, right? I told you the story about Mumbaz Amelich, I ever told you that story, Mumbaz Amelich. Mumbaz Amelich was one of the later Hashem Wanna E Kings, and he was known to be one of the most generous kings in the army-style history of ever, and he would give out money from the treasury to the poor people, and he was giving out, helping everybody, whatever it takes to go, no problem, dishing out funds from the treasury, the relatives of Mumbaz that were in line for inheritance after him to take over the throne. Came to him, he started to stop complaining. So what are you doing? He says, all your forefathers, the reason you have all that money is 'cause they were gathering, they were gathering, they keep putting money in the temple treasury, putting money in the treasury. You decided you want to open the gates, and disperse, and disperse, and disperse, there's gonna be nothing left by the next, and then for us, by the time we get there, and none less, so he said to them back like this. All the other kings, they put their money in a place where it can be taken from, and put their money in the place for somebody else, not for them. They put their money into this world and saved and saved, and they got to the next world and their pockets are empty. So I'm gonna take my money that's here, and I put it in a place where nobody can touch it, and I'm gonna put it in a place in my personal bank account, not in the bank that got for somebody else, say the card that he puts in this world, he puts it out, he starts disperse, he says, "Where's my, it goes to my accountage, am I?" And it's that much of my personal account, that's not for the next guy after me, and no one could take that away from me, and nothing can be gone, as it all comes, robs the bank, 'cause no, no, I got, that's it, it's done. So he's saying, you need to make deposits into your personal accountage, am I? Not only money, it's what? Tora, that's your, you're gonna get there. Also now, okay, I gotta live here, not for vacation, for a two week, for eternity. Okay, but you need money to live, right? You wanna live in a nice place, it's your buy over there. You wanna have a good place to go, you wanna have, to be able to enjoy, you wanna be able to, so, but you get there, and the bank accounts, it's a little low for eternity. There's a third to go down. You gotta make deposits from here, and the only place you can put a deposit into your accountage, am I, is in this world. Once you get there, the balance doesn't change, it is what it is, it's over. You can have benefit based on the amount that you have, so if you balance bigger, that'll show it bigger. Well, less, I need more. Sorry, too late, you had a chance, you had your whole life to go in this world, and make the bigger deposit, and the bigger deposit, and the bigger, you did what you did. Zach, who bought up my brook, that's what you got, sorry. So he's saying, hello, make deposits into your account over here. (speaking in foreign language) The guy who's smart, was understanding, you know, he's grabbing, he's grabbing me to work. (speaking in foreign language) Very short days left. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) Right, the day is short, there's a lot of work to do. (speaking in foreign language) The work is a lazy, that's us. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) Yep, let's go. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) So, the guy who's not thinking about this all the time, (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) That's a wild statement. You know what he says? One hour in this world with tushuvah and good deeds is greater than all the life you're going to live in Ha'Ya Olamabad. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) Okay, so go on, and one hour, sorry, (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) One hour of peace and tranquility in Olamabad is greater than all the life you can have in this world. So, you want to get to the tranquility that you can have as much as you can. The only way to do that is (speaking in foreign language) Good. (speaking in foreign language) Okay, so now, the lion is the king of the jungle, right? When the lion is roaring, a lion is ruling in his, you know, in his, what do you call it, his environment, he's the millish. What's the killer? What's the dog next to the lion? (speaking in foreign language) I'll eat you in two seconds, right? He says like this. (speaking in foreign language) At the end of the day, very nice that the lion is great and powerful and can do whatever he wants, but that's only when he's alive. When lions dead, the dog that's still alive is better than him, right? So he says (speaking in foreign language) That's like (speaking in foreign language) If you had a lion that passed away, giant, at the end of the day, the guy that's over here in this world that's a nobody, nothing. I'm an artist, still better than that guy, right? 'Cause he isn't, 'cause of his potential. The lion maxed out, he's done. He's gone into the next world and whatever he has, he has. But the guy that's in this world, even in our, my artist has the potential to, to pass that guy. Who's better now? (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) When he passed away, it's over, done, right? He did great, unbelievable. But the guy was still alive, to mourn him, has, is greater than him, 'cause he could still grow. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) This is the opposite now. Okay, so I see over here. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) When it comes to just your enjoyment, yeah, it's gonna make fun of this world. (speaking in foreign language) What benefit is men getting for all the efforts that he's putting in this world? Well, depends what you're talking about. If you're talking about efforts of nonsense, right? Yeah, very good, wasting his time. Great, very nice. But if you talk about, (speaking in foreign language) It's not what he's talking about. (speaking in foreign language) Is again, I praise the dead over the live. That's again, the same idea. Where the live person is not using his potential, he's ignoring the potential that he has. You bet if you're dead, because that guy's on the downslide. He's sliding backwards. He was okay before, and he's going lower and lower. The guy who passed away, at least he's stationary. He's going down anyway, he's where he is. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) If you remember three things, it will help you and protect you from sinning. What are they? (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) You know, you think about ourselves as, oh, I'm this great, it's like I'm good at it. I really love ourselves, we love ourselves. And that's okay, you're supposed to have self confidence. But you gotta remember where you came from. You know what you were? You were too fast, (speaking in foreign language) a little spoiled little drop of liquid. That's what you started from. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) And where you gonna go after this journey of life is over? Where you going? (speaking in foreign language) Put your body back in the dirt with all the worms, the bugs, that's where you're going. (speaking in foreign language) And who are you gonna stand up in front of on the day of judgment, right? When they separate your nishama out of your body and you go stand, who's gonna be there at sitting at the head of the table, of the judges bench? It's gonna be there. (speaking in foreign language) That's where you're going. (speaking in foreign language) What does that mean? (speaking in foreign language) When you start to think about where you came from, (speaking in foreign language) You start to calm down your audience, right? You're conceited. You remember? I really was nothing. I was a nobody. I was a little drop of liquid. And that's who I was. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) When you realize where you're going and going to end up, you start to realize that the enjoyment of this world is not the goal of life. It's great, beautiful to have along the way, make things great, enjoy your life. It's fantastic, not saying that, but what I'm saying is that's not the goal of life. That's to help you on your journey. (speaking in foreign language) You use the things in this world that tools of God gave you, right? To increase your (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) We start to realize when I get up there, I'd better have something to say to God. I'd better be able to at least show some of my efforts in this world, (speaking in foreign language) And that'll help you to protect you from sinning. You're not going to have (speaking in foreign language) You're going to have fear of God. You're going to realize what's important in life, what's not important in life. (speaking in foreign language) But I tell you, God saw that everything that He did, and He said, this is the end of (speaking in foreign language) And He told me, excellent. I did a good job. (speaking in foreign language) That's when God said, it's good that man will die. (speaking in foreign language) 'Cause it's good that people start to remember what's going to happen, that at the end of their life, it'll keep them grounded. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) Don't make this world, right? The focus of your journey in life, right? (speaking in foreign language) Many people, unfortunately, are not paying attention to this, right? And they're running around in this world thinking that this is the goal. When we talk, (speaking in foreign language) Let's be acquire more, and acquire more, and acquire more, like the kings before moon buzz. Very nice, what happened to it afterwards? Nothing, they gave it to moon buzz, and they were going, (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) Was, was, was very, you know, started out, they shakish as a, what do you call it, mafia, he was the, he was done, got it. They shakish was the head of the mafia, okay? And a little by little, it'd be a high nine, so I'm one day, the whole story, how he was able to bring him back to the next issue, but I became an shakish the giant, and they shakish, at one time, had all this money, it was a mafia day, wealthy guy, very tobacco. Started to give out all his money, he said, "I can't charge you." At the end of his life, when I says he had left one small vial of perfume, and he was crying, crying, that he left it for his kids. Says it, (speaking in foreign language) I left my spoils, my treasures for others, instead of using it for myself and Jedi. So the guy went from the extreme of, the whole life is all about this world, he went all the way to the opposite end, where he left nothing, only two to half, only it's not, that's very hard to do, not saying not to leave things for your kids' eyes, which I love. Of course, you wanna leave things for the children, you wanna leave things for them to their company, but what's the purpose for them to be comfortable? What's the reasons? Why are you doing that for them? Why? So that they should just go on vacation, they should just have easy time, why? Or is it because I wanted to have a clear mind, so when he sits down to learn, you don't have to worry about where the bills are gonna get paid for. What's my intention when I'm starting to save things to my children? That's why I like them, what am I doing it for? Just for them to have? Or by doing it because I want them to have, so they will have a much easier time connecting to them, than I had, I had a rough time, I had to work really hard, I had maybe half an hour a day to learn, I want my kids to have a little bit more time, I want them to not have to have so much worry about having to have to pay tuition, and have so much to worry about whatever. So I wanna work hard, and I'm gonna set aside time for myself to learn, but I'm doing so that he can have more time, so he can come to the office at 10 o'clock, and it's not gonna be a problem. If that's what your intention is, so that's great, that's not what I saw, Kish was talking about, right? That's a good thing to do, and tell your kids that, tell them, you know what? For me, it's a little late, I don't have the right education, I don't have the right schooling, I've given you all that, I put you in the position where you can go higher than I can go, so I worked hard, but I don't want you to waste it, it's not for you to use that extra time and that you don't have to worry so much to learn more, to do more, it's what, to be involved in more organizations, that's what it's for.
