Jesus stood and cried, saying, "If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. It is great to be with you again on another Thursday night for another Thursday night Bible study. Talking about the heavens, the glare, the glory of God, and the firmament showeth his handiwork. And we saw that demonstrated tonight in the signs of the Zodiac, the last two Thursday nights, in the signs of the Zodiac. And that's a real blessing. And when you really sit back and think about it, I mean, like I said, when we were talking earlier, you don't have to get as crazy about it as I do. But the one thing you have to acknowledge is that there is absolutely nothing like that book. Absolutely nothing like it at all. I mean, it's like when you peel an onion, you know, it's like just peeling piece after piece after piece and it just never seems to come to an end. It's just absolutely amazing. And it's the Word of God, man. It's the Word of God. And if you're not reading it, you better start. You better start. There's a lot of information there that we need, especially in today's day and age. All right. Well, we're moving on to our prayer list here tonight. And I'm actually, I'm looking forward to talking about the faces of the moon and I think you're going to find it really interesting. Some of the things we're going to be talking about. Now, of course, we always pray for the folks that are in need of salvation first and foremost because, again, and I'll keep on telling you, you know, your salvation is the single most important decision you will ever make in your life. And that's because it has those eternal consequences that we've talked about so frequently. You know, you can continue on and just rejecting the gospel, rejecting Jesus Christ, turning a blind eye in a blind ear in a hardened heart to the gospel. And one day you will find yourself in hell. And that's a guarantee. That's what the Word of God says. We believe the Word of God. And because the Bible says that the Word of God is truth, and we have the truth, and that's what the Bible says. So, again, you can keep on rejecting and hardening yourself to it, but you will end up in hell without Jesus Christ. There is no other way to heaven other than by Jesus Christ. It's not Muhammad, it's not Mary, it's not the Pope, it's not your church, it's not your denomination, it's not your good works. It's not, you know, all the hoops and hurdles that you run through and jump through in your everyday life and in your religious life. It's putting your full faith trust and confidence in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ in that alone. So, please, if you haven't done that, please, please call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Don't go to hell. Hell is the worst place imaginable. Please, don't go there. You know, hell is kind of like the, is like county locker. That's basically what hell is, because at the end of the Millennial Kingdom, all right, at the end of that thousand year period of Millennial Kingdom, after the final battle between the Lord Jesus Christ and the devil, there's going to be the great white throne of judgment. And death and hell, death and hell, now includes everybody that's in hell, are going to be cast into the eternal lake of fire. All right, that's the penitentiary, that's never getting out, that is an eternal sentence. So, please, don't go there. It is a, it's just a nightmare that you'll never wake up from, ever. So, please, don't go. Put your full faith trust in the shed, blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Put your confidence in the work that He did for you on the Cross of Calvary to pay your sin debt. So, please, folks, please, don't go to hell. Now, on our prayer list tonight for salvation, we're still praying for Micah, Kandy and Eddie, and then going on down our sick list, we are still praying for Yisanya with going, undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Maricela, recovering from a bypass surgery, triple bypass, Rosa with heart trouble, Lorena with the return of cancer, Emmanuel with cancer, Ruth for her health, overall health, Ashley for heart trouble, Guadalupe Garcia with cancer. Now, we added Carol to our prayer list last Sunday with cancer, and then we had a new addition to the prayer list, Riva Daniel, who was diagnosed with cancer as well. A lot of cancer, right? A lot of cancer out there. Kind of makes you wonder. And then on our general prayer list, we're praying for Henry Luna for direction and clarity in his walk and his ministry, and we're also praying for that hedge of protection to be about him and his family. We're praying for his wife as well, as she's recovering from some medical conditions. We're praying for Angela for direction and clarity in her walk with the Lord. We're praying for Ashley for peace in her life and soul. We're praying for Larissa with employment opportunities. Claude for his particular family needs, Eddie for his addiction. That's the same Eddie from our salvation list. Ed for his overall health and well-being, and Isabel, a single mom who has some unspecified prayer needs. All right, so just please don't forget to pray for these folks on a regular basis. You know, write them down if you want a copy of the prayer list. Just send me an email at info@sortofthespiritpodcast.com and I can send you a copy of the prayer list. And you know what I do is I take it. I put it up on my refrigerator because I'm always in the refrigerator because I'm a 4X fat guy. So I put it up on my refrigerator. It's right there in front of me and I keep a copy in my Bible. That's why I remember to pray for these folks. Every time I open it up and every time I open up the fridge, I see that list right there. It puts it foremost on my mind to pray. So do something like that. Whatever it takes, just keep praying for these folks because part of what we're supposed to do as believers is we're supposed to bear one another's burdens. And you've heard me talk about that many, many times. So do that. Pray for these folks. Don't just do it when we're doing the show. Do it on your own as well. The more people are praying for them, the better it is. So let's go to the Lord in prayer. Our Heavenly Father, we do so love you tonight. Lord, we love you and we thank you for the gospel. We thank you Lord for your handiwork in the heavens and the stars. God, thank you so very much for the creation that you have provided to us. God, we also thank you for the amazing and wonderful and incredible gift of salvation. God, we don't really fully understand it. But God, please, please, God, give us a better understanding each and every day. Father, we also, tonight, we want to pray for the folks in our salvation list. Lord, we pray for Eddie, Candy, and Micah. God, we lift them up to you tonight. Father, we just pray that your Holy Spirit would bring conviction to their hearts, to their souls. Lord, that they would look upon the Lord Jesus Christ and call upon His name and His name alone and put their full faith, trust, and confidence in the shed, blood, and the finished work that He did for them and for the world at Calvary. So Father, please, just work in them and draw them into yourself and we'll thank you for it. And then Lord, for those that are on our sick list, God, for those that are battling cancer and Lord, there are so many. Father, I just lift each and every one of them up to you. Lord, I pray that your hand would be upon them, that you would touch their bodies. Lord, I pray that you would bring healing. Father, I pray that you would grant wisdom and discernment to them and to their care professionals. Lord, I pray that you would use their wisdom, the skills and the abilities that you've blessed them with in the proper treatment of these folks as they're dealing with this dreadful disease. Lord, and for all the others on our sick list as well, Lord, I pray that you would just touch them and bring healing. You are the great physician. Lord, there is no one else that really can bring healing, but by your hand. So Father, thank you for that and please Lord, just touch each one. Grant them mercy, grant them some grace as they deal with the issues before them. And Lord, give them peace that passes all understanding. And we'll thank you for that. And then Father, for those in our general prayer list, we pray for all their particular needs. Father, I just pray for Henry. Lord, I pray for that hedge of protection to be about him as he leads his family. And Lord, I pray that you would just direct his steps in his life and his work and his ministry. And Lord, I just pray that you would just be a continual blessing to him. Father, we also pray for Angela, for direction and clarity in her walk. God, I pray that you would just touch her and give her peace as well as peace for Ashley and in her heart and her soul. Father, we also pray for the rest of the Lord that you would just open up those employment opportunities for her. We pray for Claude as well for those employment opportunities. Lord, we also pray, I forgot to mention it, he had told me about a dental problem that he's dealing with. So Lord, I pray for that also, and I pray, Father God, that you would just help bring healing in that arena for him. Father, we also pray for Eddie, Lord, dealing with addiction. Lord, I pray that you would just help him and give him victory over it as well as his salvation. And then Father, we pray for Ed for his overall health and well-being and Isabel for those needs that she has. Father, we also pray for those that have emailed us with prayer requests and have not given us the okay to use their name on the air. And Lord, I just pray that you would just touch them and bring them the peace that passes all understanding as well. Lord, I pray that you would touch them. Lord, also for those with unspoken prayer requests, God, I just pray that you would meet all of their needs according to your will and for them and for their lives. And Father, we ask you to bless the remainder of the show. And Lord, thank you so much for all those that are watching and listening, and that we'll be doing so later. God, I pray that you would use this podcast. It's yours, not mine. It belongs to you totally, and you can do it every day that you want to do with it. And I pray though, Lord, that you would use it in a powerful way, and Lord, that folks would get saved. Like I'm a snacker when it comes to that stuff. I'll get up at one two o'clock in the morning, and I'll, you know, I'll make something to eat for myself. You know, and then go right back to bed. It's, you know, I would much rather, at this point, put my full faith, trust and confidence in Jesus Christ now when all it has to do is put as believe and put my faith in Him. So please get saved, get saved today. Call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and get saved.
