When we try to live our lives apart from God we quickly find this world to be a cursed, crooked, broken, and hopeless place. 

Have you ever wanted something because you thought it would bring happiness into your life? Maybe it was achieving an accomplishment, acquiring a possession, or having a certain experience. Can you relate to the feeling of emptiness that followed? In this series we will study the words of the wisest man who ever lived as he chased all of life’s promises of happiness and fulfillment, only to find them hollow and empty when pursued apart from God.
