There could be some of you who are going through your life alone, disconnected, and unprotected.  The Church is one of God’s primary tools for ministering to our aloneness.

Can you think of a group in your community who stand at the ready to respond to the needs of others who find themselves in a crisis situation at any given moment? Is the local church one of the first groups that came to your mind? If not, why? Sadly, far too many Christians assume the church exists primarily to serve them.
