Without the discomfort of Christmas, we would not have the celebration of Easter.When we reflect on the events surrounding the birth of Christ, we often do so with a sense of warmth, softness, and nostalgia. But the true Christmas story is one of discomfort in which God asked people to get uncomfortable as they played their specific role in ushering the Savior into the world.
