Darris' Allergy Test May Mean A LOT!
I was getting ready to walk into the studio that he is going to be tested again for allergies coming up in September on September 19th, he's booked an appointment. This is a big moment for a lot of reasons, but specifically because we've got a stretch that's gone on for almost our entire existence as a program that there has always been one producer of our show is allergic to peanuts for some reason. Daris currently is that guy, so I think the way it's going to work is if we find out he's not allergic, then Cleary is automatically allergic to peanuts. That's how we know that. There's at least one. Yeah. But in addition to being allergic to all things, peanuts, more importantly, I'd say Daris is allergic to shellfish and seafood and has allergies to these things. Maybe we asked him about it and he's like, Oh, one time this happened many, many years ago and it's like, yeah, but you could grow out of that. So we're about to find out. We're going to know. Is he the father, but also we're about to find out is Daris still allergic to shellfish. So here's my idea. Thank you. Sorry. I know you're doing something else, but I that totally caught me. I think we were at the point where here's what I want to do. I do read the story. If Daris is no longer allergic to shellfish, I think we have to do some type of like Hanks Oyster bar blowout. Yeah. We got to do a like crab cakes and football kind of day. What do you think? I 100% agree with that welcome him back to the sea as it were. It's funny because Ryan actually just talked me into scheduling his appointment because when we went to our last commercial break, I heard the junkies promo where they're promoting that they're doing their fourth annual crab feast. I'm like, oh, great. The whole studio is going to smell like seafood tomorrow. That's awesome. Ryan's like, what are you going to get tested to see like, are you still there tested based on your guy, Claire? Yeah, Claire. He just put it back in my head. I was like, all right. Yeah. You know what? I'm going to schedule my appointment right now. Best life, I know and kind of like all I do because of course, as I walked past heres a little bit earlier on, I had trail mix and deres like, oh, you're trying to kill me because there's peanuts in there and I unfortunately peanuts nearly every day. There's a lot of allergies over there. A lot of allergies. We're just going on living online. Yeah. I've got a peanut covered crab. You want some? Yeah. Yeah. So I was like, deres like, you should just get tested again. And he's like, you know what, I'll make an appointment right now and he got on the phone and made an appointment. That's personal. That's so silly. That's a great way to do it. I will tell you this, in no exaggeration, I did it at Capitol Breathe Free where I got my, my sinus procedures and different stuff like the 30 lines on you with markers and all that. Yeah. They didn't make, they didn't do a nose job. I was like, well, you're in there. You want to rearrange some of this? Make a little nicer? I mean, that's how they, like the allergy test, they like draw on you like markers. Oh, yeah. But so I had it all done there and I take drops every morning to build up like a small immunity to all that stuff. It has changed my life. So I'm hoping for something similar, my friend, you'll find out like I'm allergic to something called like cypress ragweed, hope it doesn't grow around here, but if I ever encounter it, I'll break out. Look, weird stuff you'll never know, but it is a game changer because then you could do something about it. That's what's so awesome. I just hope for you that we don't find out like, nope, you're still very allergic to peanuts. Yeah, no peanuts. And to see food, but also you're also allergic to ham and you have celiacs disease. You know, now you just can't eat anything like it could really backfire. That would be, that would be absolutely tragic. Yeah, that would have been tough outcome out because I'm, I'm thinking of the quiz comes back. Awesome. If they're like, you have to be a vegan and you're only allowed to eat peas. You know what you can't have is gluten, man. And just for the rest of his life, he has to eat nothing but peas that'll be miserable. Wow. Then we could all tell Ryan, you're not a life coach. That's true. That part is true. But either way, I feel like we could do like some big production where it's like we plug it on like this day, the double play we reveal if there is allergic or not. And we just, we have like, I mean, because here's the thing, I think we just do seafood either way that day. That's good. Rubbish. So I roll in with a giant salt line carry out order. Yeah, we just need to put our angeles and Reese's cups as well. And like, there's can either eat it or you can't, I love this idea. So we get four giant crab cakes from Hanks Oyster bar or whatever. Yeah. The question is, do we split up the fourth one three ways or does Daris get to eat it? Does that. Daris get to eat it. And then Daris says, hand it on over. It's mine. Well, just go crazy. I love this. This is great. Or, or keep it away. I'll die. And then we go crazy also. Yes. We get to eat more crap. True. We still actually were happier for that result. Yeah. Exactly. We're like, sorry, Daris. This is so tasty. Respectfully, Daris. I'm excited. I'm excited. I hope it turns out positively for me. Or negative. Whoa. Yeah. Yeah.
