Mike Sandra still Jeremy Chen, Emmanuel Forbes, Noah Igbonogany, Kwan Martin, Derek forest, Michael Davis, Ben St. Jews, Percy Butler, Jeremy Reeves, Tyler Owens, and Dominic Hampton. Now safety, I do think they're going to be pretty good, but I think at corner, you're basically throwing bodies at a problem. Right? I mean, let's be frank. I mean, there's really not anything trustworthy there on the outside. I think the inside nickel position, we are assuming Mike Sandra still is going to be terrific. And I think he will. He had a great camp. He had a good preseason. So let's just say that last year's national championship winning captain at Michigan is awesome. They've got Igbonogany behind him who had a good camp. All right. Fine. The inside that the nickel corner spot is good outside its Forbes. Who else? Michael Davis, Benjamin St. Just I have major questions there still. So Ben Sandig wrote this in his roster projection. Um, the kind of the whisper quiet little thing of Sandra still is wild coaches so much. This is from his story. The great news is that Sandra still live coaches and teammates this summer with his maturity, toughness and coverage ability. He has been so impressive that defensive coordinator Joe Witt said the second round pick and primary slot corner has begun playing more outside in two quarterback sets. Now that's good. Yeah, I was going to say, I mean, number one, you're almost never in those situations. Like there were teams this preseason that ran 11 personnel 95% of the time. The Rams came to mind. I think Washington was in 11 and 11 personnel, by the way, is three wide receivers Washington was in that almost 75 to 80% of the time from the numbers I saw Warren Sharp putting out. Now, whether you operate at that extent, that way, oh, yeah, I don't know. I don't know exactly what that's going to look like, but I do think that's something that if you're playing outside when two receivers sets and you're only doing that like 20, 30% of the time max, okay, I guess the other problem is you move them outside. You solve that problem. As you said, it's a leaky. Damn. Yeah. It's like, okay, we're putting our finger over this hole. Water's not coming out. Wait, what's that over there? Now you got to run over and put your finger on that holds. This is like a cartoon all of a sudden. There's an explosion coming at some point. The water's about the burst. Yeah. Where do you want the leak to be? That's the thing. I guess for me, I would rather have my leak inside than on the outside because you get beat outside at such downs. You could beat inside. Wide receiver going crowder and Pringle at your fifth and sixth spots over any of the youth, whether that would have been Kaz Allen or Bryson Tremaine, shouldn't have been a surprise because you can get those guys to practice squad. But I normally just like a little more, not only youth on my roster, but twitch, wiggle, lead burst juice, whatever you want to call it. And I think they prioritize like veterans who have been around with a young quarterback. Indeed. Yeah. I mean, just if there were marquee names, like if they drafted a couple guys higher, you know, maybe traded back into the first round or use one of their second round picks on a guy like that, you know, you could sort of see, okay, let's, we're developing none of the quarterback, but another guy in the receiver room, let's mentor him with a, with a Jamison crowd or with the Byron Pringle, et cetera. This is basically, you know, a term of corn in the misfits at this stage. Plus, you know, you hope that there's some upside with Luke McCaffrey. But to me, this is, this is, this is the spot where I still feel like it's most likely. That's not the final group that's assembled for next weekend. Do not mistake that for me thinking he's coming back here, a day afters for Luga in the post wrote that the Nat should sign him. I agree with Barry. They absolutely should try to. I just have no faith in this ownership group doing that and I'm not going to spend one single second trying to convince myself that that's a possibility. I'll be pleasantly stunned if it were to happen, but I don't think that's a real thing. So I think even if you counted it, each one of those signatures would be that would is the equivalent of $10 million for Juan Soto in terms of overall salary. It still wouldn't be enough. You know what I mean? Like, it's not, it's not a non-starter at this stage. I just, I just can't see it. I would love to be wrong. I'd love to be surprised. I don't even talk about Juan Soto a large marquee free agent acquisition. I would be blown back. I would be, I would be knocked out of this room if that's what ended up happening. So that is a more fun discussion. We'd have to describe and define what large free agent acquisition. Like somebody that other teams wanted. Okay. I'd be surprised at this point. That I'll disagree with. I think they add a big bat. They'll add someone who hits 25 plus homers next year and projects to maybe give him 30. I've thrown the name on, then he's Santander, Anthony Santander out a lot, the right filter for the Orioles. I don't know if it'll be him. I think he leaves Baltimore and he goes and gets paid somewhere, but it'll be an outfielder like that. You know, Tae Oscar Hernandez was with the Dodgers on the home run Derby. I could see somebody like that signing with the nationals and playing him in a corner. Now, if they do that, you kick Dylan Cruz to center and James Wood stays in left, then Jacob Young, who's a gold glove award winning center fielder, defensively, maybe a platinum Glover this year, is out of a gig. And I know that Mike Rizzo as an affinity for young, as he should, he's an unbelievable defender who also is going to steal 40 bases maybe this year. So there's something to be said, maybe for just keeping your cheap home grown outfield together with wood, young and Cruz left to right and then maybe spending at the corners in the infield. Maybe you go get a bopper at first, you could get someone who hits a ton of home runs and go play third until Brady House is ready, then transition to DH. You could sign two first base types if you wanted to. One to play first and one to DH and go add, you know, a combined 50 plus home runs that way. I do think they're going to add a big bat at least and probably an arm for the rotation. I hope you're right. I don't think you are. I don't think it's outside like the Nelson Cruz tier as I think where they're going to spend once again. Well, if that happens, it's time to really start crushing them and it's time to start coming down pretty hard on the ownership group because that would be pretty inexcusable. After the corporate money comes off the books with them showing what they did this year before they sold off at the deadline. Last few years that made a lot of sense in the rebuild and I think we're past that point. So I would agree with you. I think how we would cover that as a show certainly and hopefully as a market would look very, very different this time around.
