hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello. Listen, I was trying to sing with her. Hello, hello, hello, hello, man, I told you, I told you that song was hot, it was fire. I can listen to that song at least four times before I say, okay, let me move on to the next song because I'll be biased if I didn't listen to another song. That song was by Latrice, hello, she's got many more singles out. You need to go and go to her social media, you need to go to the digital platforms and get this music. Latrice is her name, the song is entitled, hello, now, before we get moved on and we go to the international side of things, I was talking earlier about some things I was dealing with and I'm just going to keep it real and transparent with you. Listen, I have the opportunity to be a part, our goal and be a part of the media for ambassador Dr. Bobby Jones and this was going to be his last taping with the supernatural choir and so I was hesitating and I was kicking and screaming and it wasn't, it really wasn't because I didn't want to go to the event. It was really because I had not been at an event in a while, you know, I've been doing ministry, like preaching and stuff and I was like, I don't know how, what, is a lot of stuff changed or not, you know, I don't know, I just didn't know. So a long story short, I was like, dude, you know, what do I wear, do I wear? And I know for some people they're like, what does that have to do, it has a lot, it's just, you know, you don't want to go to the event that you're under dress or overdressed and so I had not been to an event in a while, especially since last November was the last event I was at. And that was like a formal event. So this time I was like, okay, I'm just going to, and if you do know me, for people that do know me, and this is something I need to be delivered from, I'm a type of person, I do not do repeats. What do you mean by repeats, you're saying, I do not do repeats on clothes, I know that is so bourgeois, but I'm talking about like, if I wear something out and about, like, for the event, I won't wear it again at another event, and for a while, it have to be a very long time for I wear it again. And so that's when I was with the group, not easily broken, and for some reason I tried to take that same vibe to what I was doing for the media, which I do media now, I don't even sing like that anymore. And so I had to, I went shopping and everything, every alpha I got, it just didn't look right on it. I'm going through this phase and it's like, I don't know what kind of, what kind of look you trying to go about, Carissa, but it just ain't working. But what I did, I put on something that I repeated, you know, I wore before, I didn't wear it to an event, I wore it for pictures, and I said, okay, we're just going to have to pull this off. But honestly, I'm going to be honest with you, it worked, it literally worked, I didn't think it would work. I had so much pressure on me to look a certain way, and it had nothing to do about, nobody put that pressure on me besides me, and as always, because I want to do everything in the spirit of excellence, and like I was super-duper, like, afraid, and I've never been afraid to be in any atmosphere to represent the king. But for some reason, I was like, well, what if they look at me this way? What if I can't do, what if I can't do that? What if I can't do this, but can you imagine, what if I don't look right? That was the first time I struggled with what my image was, and so I was like, whoa, you need to check yourself, this should not be a problem. Anyways, I went and it was opposite, and I want to tell you I was opposite because one of my, y'all know, I have four children, some of my children are adults, and so I have one of my children work, and she does amazing makeup, and she does a lot of amazing stuff. She's really behind the scenes, which I don't know why, but she is. She's like, okay, mom, we're gonna do your makeup, and you're gonna be fine, you're gonna be fine, and she's like, you know what, and she really, really encouraged me. She's like, you know what, you know what you have? You just need to be yourself, you just need to be yourself, and she said some other stuff too, and I was about to mention it, but I was like, that's kind of private, but I can tell you this part, she's like, you need to be yourself. Don't worry about anything, just be yourself. And that's, that's the amazing thing about having children or having people around you, when you have helped them in their season, when it's time for you to do your assignment is in your season, when you're having a little doubt and stuff, God always tends to send them back to you to remind you the same words that you spoke to me when I was going through my thing, I'm about to speak to you, and so never, never being a place where you can't receive from somebody, some words of encouragement, some, your butte, you know, sometimes we do get a butte and it hurts, but being a place to always be to receive from people, you know, and it doesn't matter the age, and so I want to thank Rika for that, because I went, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, it was an amazing time, Bobby Jones, he, this was his last live recording with Super National Choir. Now he's doing Bobby Jones Presents, but far as singing, that's something he's kind of pulling back from, so I want to definitely do a shout, shout out to Bobby Jones, Dr. Bobby Jones, and all the things that he's done for the gospel industry, he has, I mean, TV shows and everything, he's done so many, I know he gets tight of here, you know, when I was growing up, you know, I watch you, but honestly, he's, he's been a great example for his spirit of excellence, he's always treated people with kindness, his attitude is always the same, he's, I mean, you don't hear nothing bad about him at all, and he's always, he always has an attitude of gratitude, and so I want to definitely shout that out as well. So let's keep this ball rolling, now I'm a type of person, I like all types of music, and one of the types of music I like is African music, yes, African music, I love African music, and we have this man of God that I'm very, very close to, he's doing some amazing things for the kingdom in Nigeria, he has a beautiful soulful voice, and he has a song that came out already, but the video just came out today, so I was like, why not put him on the show today, and the song is called Songs of Songs, this is a beautiful, beautiful song, you need to check the video out on YouTube, when I say video, that means it's on YouTube or on their website, and if I say audio, that means all digital platforms, you need to go out and support this man of God, his song is called Song of Songs, his name is Caleb David, I hope you enjoy this selection. You are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy. You are holy, I will sing, I will sing, I will sing, I will sing, the song of songs, and all dance, dance, dance, dance of the angels, a side gaze, side gaze, into the eyes of love, a side gaze, side gaze, side gaze, into the eyes of love, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, I will sing, I will sing, I will sing, the song of songs, and all dance, all dance, all dance, the dance of the angels, a side gaze, side gaze, side gaze, side gaze, side gaze, into the eyes of love, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, you are holy, that was songs of songs by Caleb, David, and that was such a beautiful song, and I'm such a crybaby, but this song really ministered to me, you are holy, you are marvelous, you are the great hymn, oh I love you Lord, I love you Lord, my Lord, that was beautiful, that was beautiful, beautiful, this song kind of puts me in a place where it has me reminiscing I'm sorry, and thinking about the glory of God, and how wonderful he is just to allow him, to serve him, to allow him to worship him, and so yeah, I don't know about anybody else, but sometimes I need to be reminded of how much, how much I need to be close to our Father, and this song brings us, and it should bring us, brings me to that place to remind myself that you cannot do this without him, and you need to be in a place where you're always serving him and worshiping him, I don't know about anybody else, but lately I've just been in awe trying to balance and make some sense of what's going on in my life, I'm nothing negative, just more of the pruning that's going on with me, and I'm trying to understand more about me and the calling and the walk that God has designed me to do, and sometimes sometimes it gets a little bit overwhelming, not overwhelming to serve, but overwhelming to make sure that you're on the right road, you know, because there's a road that you have to choose, you want to make sure that you're on the right track, you want to, that narrow road, you want to make sure, and sometimes we do come and fall short, and I'm not saying I fall short, but I'm saying sometimes you're like, "Okay, Lord, am I on the right road? You know, am I on the right road? Is this the road that you want me to be on?" And then there's times where you're like, "Okay, Lord, I just love you so much, Lord, what is it that you want me to do, and I don't want to fail you, God, I don't want to fail you." Yeah, that's just where I'm at right now. That's the amazing show that I could be almost sacrivenated about. That's the amazing thing that I was going to say, that was the amazing thing about doing the radio show. I get to be very vulnerable and cry, you know, most of the time when I'm doing my life talk TV show, I'm in makeup and, you know, no cry because you're makeup and everything else, but there's sometimes where I just still cry. Anyways, I'm just such a crying baby for the Lord, and I love him. I really, really love him, but enough about that because I will spend 30 minutes talking about the goodness of God, and we'll be up in here praying in the name of Jesus. I said, "I want to see you in the name of Jesus." I'm telling you all, let me calm down. I'm on fire. I'm on fire, fire, fire, fire. I just want to please the Father. How many I just want to please the Father? How many I just want to please? Do you just want to please them? You just want to please them? You just want to please them? You just want to please them. And I had to get off of here a little bit, thank you very much to the Father, and it's okay to have those moments. It's okay to have those moments where you're crying out and worshiping the Father. You must know that we must worship Him in the Spirit in the truth, in the name of Jesus. Now we're going to end this episode of Life Talk Radio show. This is my girl that is right. This woman of God is all the way from Michigan, but she went to Atlanta and now she's in California. She has this amazing, amazing speaking voice to me. She can flow. She can fit bars like never before, she's doing some amazing things for the kingdom. She's got her own makeup line that's coming out, and she's just representing Kingdom for the all my ladies. That's what she's doing. She's representing the Holy Girl, the Holy Girl. And she has a new song out. Let me put my glasses on, y'all. Let me take a read. This is the Holy Girl, and this is none other. The Holy Girl is a movement that's going on, and there's several of Christian and Gospel rap female artists that are coming together and individually making songs in their hashtag in it. Holy Girl. I'm really, really stoked about this, and I decided about that. I need to go and get this song, and it's already out, and it's already on a video as well as YouTube. I can go support these men and women of God through their digital outlets that they're on, and also YouTube. Please go and support these men and women of God. I am excited about what God is doing in their lives. I'm excited about just being on here and fellowshiping with y'all. This is the very last song before we get off of here, and I would love for you to come back for another episode of live talk. Radio show. I'm about to say TV show, Lord. Radio show. Learning to a night, year, faith every day. I felt like I needed to say that for more conversation, more music, and I don't hate. Now, sometimes we might get on here and play a couple of worship songs and just chop it up. In the words of my husband, just conversate. I'm conversating with y'all. The listeners off there, I miss conversating, and y'all can definitely, definitely follow me on my social media outlets, and that's going to be at the end of the show. You can listen for that, and we have much more things that we're going to be conversating about, and definitely, definitely chopping it up about some things that's going on in the world, and what's going on in Carissa's world as well. You can check out my website at CarissaLb.com, you can go there and you can find out what's going on with me if you need to know that and get connected with me as well, or you can email me if you're looking, which I don't know what you're looking for, but whatever you're looking for, you can go to my email, CarissaLb, no, CarissaB2018@gmail.com. You can go there as well if you want to submit your music. Simply submit it in P3 format, along with the small bio, you don't have to be big, and a CD cover. We want to do that because we post, we do a little marketing on our social media as well. I'm trying to get it back into the swing of things, but this time I'm doing it in the spirit of excellent, not over-tasking myself this year, because there's a lot of things.
