Well, it is a Friday and the guesses are in. That means it's time for the semi-regionaly famous weekend weather scale presented by Ben Murphy Roofing. Dr. Bill puts a number on it every weekend between 1 and 2 with 2.0 being the perfect weekend. What do you have for us this last weekend of September? Well, the positive things look pretty good. That is, we're going to have a lot of sunshine, lower humidity and some cooler nighttime temperatures, at least getting into the 60s as close to normal. The negative thing will be above normal temperatures, possibly reaching 90 degrees over the weekend. So I'm going to go with a 1.9840. 1.9840, that's one of the highest we've seen this year. It's going to be a pretty great weekend, Dr. Bill. It's really good and I said the only negative thing would be the temperatures that are going to get fairly warm every afternoon, but the rest of the time looks really good. Thanks so much, Doc. Thanks for your help and coverage during Helene. I appreciate your expertise so much. Okay then. Staff meteorologist, Dr. Bill Williams, his forecast twice an hour, every hour, right here on FM Talk 106.5 and our winner this morning has been one of the contributors who has friends all over where this storm went through. Don. Okay. Just tell us about Atlanta. He guessed 1.9890, so we've gone sometime now without a perfect bull's eye on the weekend weather scale, but congratulations, Don, awfully close to that number this morning. Dr. Bill's hurricane update and the weather scale presented by Ben Murphy roofing, and it's a good time as any to reevaluate how safe you would be during a storm like this if it hit directly in our area. And one of the best ways to prepare is to have a fortified roof on your home, and there's no one better at that than Ben Murphy roofing. They've done it all over this area. They've been a member of the fortified roofs program for Alabama since its inception in 2017. If you're interested or need to repair your roof, check them out online at benmurphyco.com. Another rave review for the Ben Murphy roofing company. This customer says it's been difficult to find a professional contractor since Hurricane Sally, one that doesn't leave before the job is done and then never return. Well, not Ben Murphy roofing. They were great to work with. The office staff was so helpful and patient with us picking out our Atlas shingles and the workers went to work and stayed with it. It only took two days and the cleanup was remarkable. We could not have been more pleased with the work from Ben Murphy roofing and are extremely satisfied with how our new roof looks to repair or replace contact Ben Murphy roofing in Foley, benmurphyco.com.
