Joshua Project presents and reach to the day as we travel to Pakistan to pray for the 246,000 Baloch Jabani, who are traditionally farmers and shepherds. Agriculture is limited because of the harsh climate. Their chief crop is weak. Techniques of survival differ from valley to valley and from high mountain areas to lowland plains. Baloch Jabani people have been isolated due to harsh climate, the difficulty of the mountainous terrain, and their former reputation is bandits. Jesus disciples who have counted the cost of reaching this needy people will have numerous possibilities to meet their needs, gain their confidence, and tell them the truth of the gospel. They have a long tradition of poetic compositions and poets and professional minstrels are highly regarded. Christbearers can definitely use this art form to present the good news. Pray that today's people group listens to God's message and believes in the good news of their salvation, as John chapter 5 reads, "Truly, truly I say to you, whoever hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life in verse 24. He does not come into judgment, but is passed from death to life." Finally, please pray for Holy Spirit-led believers to go to the Baloch people and lead them into movements to Christ. Thanks.
