Welcome to the Double Doos podcast an amazing show that lasts only 22 minutes and is for you the listener So soak it up. So here are your two big beer hosts Will Avril and Nelson. Hey, we'll hit the timer Double Deuce has returned a week later than you heard us before or maybe a Month if you're my mom who only listens every once in a while, but every time I ask her she listening she says sure That this is the deuce of Our Lord September 29th to 2024 That's when it's not my remember remember the 29th of September. Yep That's what I always learned Will top five things that happen on the 29th of September September on the 29th of September you want me to go chronologically forward backwards or backwards the forwards You can go chronological or you could go order of importance Chronologically in reverse order on September 29th of 1847 Upton Sinclair wrote the jungle Spaggid on September 29th of 1641 Ralph Waldo Emerson Tried us about the enlightening Said to be in the same town where Waldo stayed when the Emerson was when he wrote Waldo In September 29 Just one of them Where's Waldo? Where's Waldo now? Where's Waldo win the red one the blue one the yellow one all of them all the different colors Okay, third September 29th 14 55 Battle of Toughton was one Effectively ending such years of the wars of the roses with a Yorkist victory until the Lancasterians would come back later September 29 tricky Lancaster's September 29th zero BC Jesus was like hey guys. I don't know how many suppers I got left in me and everyone was like Oh, he got years Jesus You got years and they all left and then Jesus healed man With a series of very quizzically placed paper cuts No one ever talks about that though Paul looked it at John and John Side-eyed Paul and nobody ever talks about that. It wasn't number two best thing You know, he's done a lot of more impressive things. I mean, it's impressive that that healed him, but you know at what cost The thing is I mean, I don't think you remember That's hurt exactly like it's not a it's it's it's very impressive that the paper cuts Heeled them while hurting him, but you know, there's loads of ways better to heal someone than than with hurting them It's number twenty nine two billion BC Comet hits the earth effectively ending with time of the dinosaurs Okay, that was that was the 29th or I didn't even know Yeah, no, a lot of people don't a lot of people don't Well at least they got to enjoy summer Yeah, yeah, exactly. Exactly. I mean we would never have known that if there wasn't a dinosaur that was like It got to take Sparky in for a nail grind uh, September 29th to billion BC they got they got one last hot dino summer in and then Then the then the the apocalypse We don't talk about hot wet dino summers enough on this podcast or a society You didn't know So you didn't know I didn't Can can we go back in the podcast and listen to what you said? Yeah, let me check that Yeah, no, I didn't see what Uh, I may have added that in I'd like to apologize to all of our listeners, uh, who know that um, I am You like to get you like to get dinos wet If there's one thing about you are listeners. No, you like a wet dino Yeah, my plan is to invent a time machine go back in time and whisper dirty things in the years of dinosaurs and the hopes of making them excited That's where we're at Well, I wasn't necessarily implying like like like a sexual moisture just a general moisture like You like you like a dino pool party more than any other pool party because Because of the dino pool party There's some wet dinos around man Or it's not a very good dino pool party If you got a lot of dry dinos, it's your to your dino pool party It's a bad one man It's a bad one Do you like get get some oasis some squirt guns something here's something out Oh, man Hot charity dino wash like, you know five bucks these These these puffins that are not only dressed will wash your your dinosaur Nobody can resist a not only dress puffin my friend No, um No irresistible That's you know that song there's that song about it You're irresistible Your irresistible pop Is that the song yep Good song. It is a good song. You don't hear enough anymore No, you don't what did that guy do? I don't know September 29 No, no, I just mean like Did you do something and that's why we don't hear it anymore? Oh, oh, I don't know. I don't know I thought you were asking me like if he was an important like your irresistible If that was a import To a lot of our of our quintessential jams Because some of the people who create quintessential jams also create sex crimes You know, I I think there have that hasn't been enough research on this by you, um, but I know that you're an intrepid researcher, so No, yeah, I don't I research a lot Um, not as much sex crimes though That's I feel like sv has been has that unlocked so they don't need me Right, right, so yours are more like Detectives got a lot of Emmys That's true, they're clean enough. They're they're they're cleaning up Emmys. They're cleaning up sex crimes If you could have a lot of Emmys, how many Emmys would you what would you stop? Where would you be like this is this is too many Emmys? People I know they've been like you don't don't give me anymore. I've got plenty Yeah, let me feel like you're taking up too many Emmys from the end There's a long time where the Emmys were just kind of like just give it to them again Yeah Precisely precisely so uh, what do you what do you fall on that? How many Emmys for you? What's your personal Emi? Limit I think yeah, I think three Three so low one one free shand in a spare That's all you need right Funny me. I dread I dread the thing Okay, I guess this bear is good. I get boy scouts always be prepared all that The one that you leave on your mantle and then you got the two that you if you carry in your hands See my answer it's a lot like yours. It's 56 That's a lot of one one in each hand and then 54 spares Well, I'm a clutch a lot of television Yeah, I mean, I'd be about 52 years of television. If I start now, I will be a hundred and uh So only four of those times you're able to get a couple at once Oh, no, I was I was working on a one Emmy per year basis. I I only play to excel at one one part of the process Well, but didn't you say 56 Emmys and then 52 years Yeah, I'm that time I threw the the math grenade I caught it, but then I just threw it right at you I spike this is what happens. This is what happens when when you get nailed on on bad math children This is what I just want to make sure that this is all adding up because again kids are listening And we gotta make sure that they're learning these lessons correctly Well three of those years. I won two extra Emmys. Okay And well, hopefully four because the difference between 56 and 52 is four. Well Yes, uh three of those or what We have four of those years. I I won two Emmys. How about that? There you go. There you go. It's not all the math problem kids. It's adding It's been so long to see if you can get the same answer that we got That's right. Uh, we'll have the uh, we'll have all the graphics and the number of problems on display on uh, you know, you put that in notes, right? Yeah, well, again, that's I feel like that's we got to put out we should The workbooks are coming. I know we keep saying they're coming, but the workbooks are coming We just need more interns to help with the workbooks We didn't say keep saying are you basically saying that the two times like the time you said it I know what we keep saying and the first time was when you said it There's been other time, you know For the again the educational side of this we we have been sold to some You know, I would say lower income school districts who need like a more Economical teaching aid for the kids Um, and so we've gotten a little bit of business with with selling episodes our more educational episodes to those districts But there's supposed to be a workbook that comes with them again. It hasn't come out yet. We're working on the workbook We don't have enough. Oh that that we oh, yeah, that worked. Oh, yeah. No, that worked While he was working on hashtags But yes, I mean, you know allen he's been he hasn't been able to get to it for a while And we're still looking for new interns Again, you do get a little college credit not not much But you also get a lot of real world experience and and work more than college credit when when it comes to uh, you know Buying yourself a a nice a nice dinner at any chain restaurant in america You can't you can't buy a steak with uh college credit can you? Well, but you can't know no Because it's how you get other jobs that pay and it's and that's how you level up Yes So come level up with us be our interns and get these workbooks out the door because let me get some uh Disappointed correspondence from those uh those schools And by college credit by the way on the internships, it's not from an accredited college. It's just a It's a website college credit accredited, but it's yeah, it's not It's complicated Sure Law and maritime college credit I'm gonna say it if there's a quarter you get a quarter point of college credit Point two five college credit, but only if your college is based on the open sea Otherwise, it's it's an eight Interesting I Will accept it because they're just like it's an eighth whatever You know, I I didn't do well with the symbol math problems and now you're into fractals and it's fucking blowing my mind School, I'm into drug fractals just quarters and eights. It's it's all that's easy math Just I mean, I feel like that's the t-shirt. Isn't it? I'm into drug fractals Feel like that would sound like hot case Yeah, man You got get your workbooks and the t-shirts come on most of my knowledge of weights and measures comes from you know Uh the male and and narcotics Yeah, yeah, I mean there was that long like uh, you know, anyone most postmaster generals in history That's where they that's how they learn about uh that kind of math That's from drug dealers. Yep 80% of our postmaster generals have been drug dealers Knowledge is power Yep But not the kind of power you want to fight the kind of power that you use to fight Can I just put a little caveat in here and say that i'm Terrified that AI is gonna listen to that last like 30 seconds. I think that we're a very right wing conspiracy podcast Yeah, no, but um Don't do that AI Yeah Power we're talking about is like the power that he man has when he says I have the power Not the kind of power that like a dictator has when they you know Stop letting people have elections Yeah, when he man says I have the power I know what a Narnia is gonna say otherwise rocks and like using a sword and stuff And that's the power we're talking about when we're teaching your kids how to do drug math And then he takes the sexiest leap onto the broad muscular shoulders Of his his mouth and and rides uh towards castle grace call Uh sweat dripping down his manly chest running in rivets Between his pectoral and down the six pack of his glorious tandabs The journey becomes So Will also like to wet he man in addition to a wet dino Yeah, i'm trying out a new thing. It's um, it's it's a polisoft core Uh see man erotica said and think What do you think? It's pretty good. He man erotica I mean did it make you think I have the power Um, yeah, no, I 100 percent, um 100 percent I can picture it. He's up there. He's riding battlecat He's sweaty from from using his powers and stuff his power Yeah, he's been moving to the rocks. He's been swinging a sword Um He he like he like punched trap jaw and made his metal jaw not work so good. No more Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's getting up to bad stuff Um, he's you know, he's been very heroic and sometimes hair was um It's gonna make you sweat Yep. Yep. That's there wouldn't be old spice commercials if that wasn't that true. Exactly lumberjacks Uh firemen's and he-man's they're gonna sweat doing what they do And uh, they so they need uh, they need they need to smell good regardless Why did I don't really work any auditory Sort of descriptions into my never see he-man like spraying himself down With like a body spray to help like deodorize his sweatiness I mean, also does he does he does he laser does he wax? I mean, he's got Yeah, he's not gonna want to hair. He's he's got he's got his his his prints cut on top Um, but then yeah, the rest of his body seems to be fairly hairless Like the only real hair on him aside from on his head is like on his loincloth and and lining his boots True short sharp. What does he smell like? That's a really good question. I I think like um like like one of those Uh bed bath and beyond pauperies. That's like cinnamon apple but like a little two centred that way but and and also uh with with just a a tinge of um Of of uh fucking no, is it patchouli? Oh, is it no it's dog chop, but no, it's maybe patchouli I would say it'll motherfuckers got wood sandal in there somewhere wood sandal and paupery Yeah, that's what i'm saying that tracks How what do you think he smells like? I think that that seems pretty I just I feel like there's probably there's gonna be a degree of musk in there But I think it's it's uh, it's like an undertone of uh, like a slight earthiness um Yeah, maybe look like like like to smell in the fall when the leaves are just they're kind of like when the leaves are falling But before they have started to like decay Yeah, yeah freshly fallen leaves and in the autumn Like a leaf like a leaf pile that it's just it's just it's just dropped off So they're still a little like they're like only the the the slightest it's not as much a crunch It's more like the sound of you like stir in your leaves together in your salad If they aren't you know, but they aren't very they're not more sought like you got the dressing on the side The leaves aren't all they're not all oily They're not decayed They're they're they're fresh They're freshest man. That's poetry. That's poetry the way you say that. Yeah. Yeah I mean, I feel like here. I am a humble He-man fanfic back whereas you you know, you write great glorious he-man poetry with your every word and phrase It's like you get him and You know, I think a little bit of that like big bottle of cologne your grandpa had that's in there too How do you know i'm like grandpa's cologne's not like well all grandpa's have had a big bottle of cologne That was one of a a handful of scents, but they were all relatively similar And so yeah, it's it's it's that that's in there too doing the flaps that a little bit on its cheeks and and uh You know, he man he man's a gentleman And so he's gonna he's gonna do a little bit of the johnson baby powder and cool water cologne. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, no, uh, but yeah You know like like snoop dog does For change and i don't know if he still lives his life He's a busy man. He but all the more reason to keep things fresh Here you are this. What do you get we that we We already covered that kids flipped back a couple pages in the in the workbook you're gonna get By the time you're listening to this maybe they're there flip back a couple and see The list of things that make you sweat from earlier in the episode So But you're okay because on september 29th 1978 Right guard was invented. Yep. Yep Yep You can use that when he starts wedding Yeah, no, uh, that's a good one. That's a good one That I mean, it's just what happened. It's not good about it. Just Well, I mean it's it's good in that like Yodering is good like uh like presenting a certain freshness to the world is good Like you don't want to just you don't want to just be rolling full stank out in the world will No, he's right. I don't I don't want to be rolling full Stanked out into the world about it Listener is you just you just heard uh some dead air you didn't see him really thinking about it for a minute About whether or not it's a roll full stake in the world or not And then I don't know if he came to the realization that you don't or if he came to the realization that that's the answer he's supposed to give But that's what was happening behind his eyes while the while the air was dead there I I'm sorry. I'm just this whole episode Has been a real a real revelatory experience for me and i'm having to process it all right at the end Well, and I haven't kept the best notes either. So the workbook's really going to be doing double duty here Hopefully Hopefully process it together Yeah All processes we got some publishers lined up. So whenever we get some interns to actually get the contents together Then it should be pretty pretty soon after that, you know Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, we're totally on it. It's totally to happening uh soon promise pinky swear Nelson, I'm I think i'm losing him here well, I mean I feel like you went right to the pinky swear and and the pinky swear is the last refuge of con men and hucksters and so A man who reaches for like a pinky swear as as his justifications Is a man that that is reaching reaching out for nothing Kids if you learn nothing else Just know That the the person who if if someone who you know you you're questioning They're the one who brings up the pinky swear They're just they're just looking to get out of this conversation any way they can For you y's to the fact they're lying to you But if you if you the the incredulous one suggests the pinky swear, that's the way That's the way the pinky's meant to be extended In in in prove it. That's what a pinky is saying. It's saying Saying prove it They will start with pee. That's how you can remember that No one else starts with pee double dose This has been double-dose podcast if you thought the intro sounded bad This outro sound even worse Thanks for listening.
