199: DecaDeuce vol 1

Broadcast on:
02 Sep 2019

So, we didn’t record this week because we were busy with a wedding. Congratulations Chad and Jana!

Still, rest assured we have your backs with the content because we are two ride or die podcasters who never leave the audience wanting and you can take that shit to the bank and have them tell you that they aren’t sure what to do with it because they aren’t sure how to measure its monetary value. Anywho, this used to would have been a collection of mic checks, but we got out of that business before the crash and we’re on to something new. DecaDeuces. It’s ten mini 2 minute & 20 second episodes we collected over several recording sessions and plastered together into one big regular-sized episode! Actually, it’s a little bit longer (30 whole minutes!) cause we’re bad at math! But still, we fight on. Sorry if the sound is bad in any of these. Sometimes we get confused and shoot ourselves in the sound feet. Maybe we didn’t with any of these, though. I’d like to think we didn’t. I’d like to believe in that world. They do have guests though!

Behold, the contents:

  • How to Be a Therapist, or WHERE’S MY FACE!? (w/ Jason Keezer)(3/17/19)
  • Cursive Writing and Erectile Dysfunction (w/ Jacqueline Grunau, Matt Gaus, & Emily Lowrance-Floyd)(3/30/19)
  • Outback Meets the Old West, or Give Us a Wave! (3/30/19)
  • Bigger Than a Mouth, or The Matt Gaus Dancers (w/ Jacqueline Grunau, Matt Gaus, & Emily Lowrance-Floyd)(3/30/19)
  • Live Episode Pregame, or Mouths vs Buttholes (w/ Jason Keezer)(4/6/19)
  • No Robots, No Bacon Outside (4/20/19)
  • Meditation By the Koi Pond (w/ Trish Averill Neuteboom & Jeanne Averill)(4/20/19)
  • The Road House of it All (w/ Courtney Shipley)(5/5/19)
  • The Guy with the Fireworks (5/5/19)
  • Hobbit Fact Checking, or Will Reads Us a Bedtime Story (5/5/19)

Hope you enjoyed it!

We’ll be back again with a brand new recording next week! Unless this is just the burn off of prerecorded episodes following one or both of our untimely deaths. Is that the sad tragedy of the world where we did a good job with the sound? Alas, that’s just the way of things. When you think you’re down: you’re really up, only to inevitably go down again. Hug your cats, people. And each other. And yourselves.

[Future Nelson here! Next week you’ll get a dose of Dr. Who Time Travle Nonsense with Episode 201 because even though we set up the supersized live 200th episode months ago, we’re still a week off and you’ll get that spectacular anniversary episode in 2 weeks! Future Nelson knows all! Hail Future Nelson!]
