When Jonah tried to run from God, God didn't take no for an answer. The Lord sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken. Jonah 1, verse 4, "God intervened. He caused a storm to come up for the purpose of reaching his man, so that the message of repentance could come to the people of Nineveh. When you make bad decisions, God doesn't just leave you to your own devices. God changed the weather to get the attention of that hard-headed prophet, because there were people who needed to be saved. You don't want to push this too far, but that flat tire, that storm, that failed business venture, that traffic jam might just have been God trying to get your attention. When your judgment falters, God steps in and works to bring you closer to us hard. God always wants the best for you. The circumstances in your life, that's God working for your good.
