We've gone through two weeks in the NFL, and we have, I would possibly say, the most injuries I have seen in a two-week period to superstar players for your fantasy roster in an extremely long time. What do you do? Where are you going to go? We're going to get you ready for that right here, plus some Thursday night bets on the spiking the pigskin podcast with your host right here, Tony Quetzalot, powered by Windows Sports. Now, when we go to these injuries, I think you really have to look at the waiver wire a different way. You have to look at the long game, because these are injuries that are not only just four weeks, five weeks, these are lingering injuries, like Cooper Cops injury, lingering injury. Obviously, I say a Pacheco long-term injury. Still be back this year, obviously, but let's start right there in Kansas City. And let's look at who do you go to? Do you go to the preseason darling in Mr. Steele? Do you go to the newly signed Kareem Hunt, or do you go to Samaje P-Rine, who, by the way, was signed specifically for this role, for the Jerrick McKinnon role. And now he's going to get pressed in the duty. So I'm going to be honest with you, waiver wire priority. I know everybody's going to be jumping on steel because he was the preseason darling. But I'm going to go with different route here. And I think your priority needs to lay with Samaje P-Rine. You just have to look at past history. The last two years, 2020 to Cincinnati, 2023 in Denver. He was a legitimate pass catching back at 8.6 yards per carry, 51, 56 targets, respectively. Okay. 38 in Cincinnati for catches and 50 in Denver in 2023, obviously. That was last year over 455 in a Sean Payton style offense, which is very close to what Andy Reid likes to run. And Andy Reid likes to trust people. I know they're bringing back Kareem Hunt, but you have to remember Kareem Hunt. You don't know how healthy he is, how in shape he is. You've got to give him a couple of weeks. And if you're allowed P-Rine to get some money into a system that he's been already familiar with, that's where you want to go, especially in a high powered offense that consistently shows that Travis Kelsey is taking a step back. So Samaje P-Rine is my guy I want to own also. How about we go to the land of New England and a guy who I was touting all off season from a tight end position that has a ton of value into those top three guys. And that's Hunter Henry. Hunter Henry is to call he presents best friend, Hunter Henry will be everybody's best friend. No matter who the quarterback is out there in New England, because all he does is catch the ball. 15 targets, 10 catches, 127 yards, 12.6 yards per carry likes to be open in the end zone. He's a tough, gritty guy who seems to always be able to be open. So he's a guy that I think that you can go out and target right now and you will not be disappointed, no matter if it's Drake Bay or Jacobi Percet going to big D in Dallas. What the hell is going on in Dallas? They get the walls blown off of them by the New Orleans Saints. And by the way, shout out Clint Kubiak. And if you listen to speaking to pigskin earlier in the off season, you would have heard that name Clint Kubiak and why I love Rashid Shahid, but that's for another time. I'm going to go Jalen Tolbert, a third year wide receiver breakout who I talked about on that episode specifically, he's establishing himself as a bona fide number two pass catcher in a high powered offense that will eventually get back on track and Dak Prescott will be throwing the ball with no zoom in. He's getting to be comfortable in this offense. And I don't think it's going to be Brandon Cooks. I think it's going to be Jalen Tolbert going ahead. And he is going to be a consistent target. And he's a guy that you really need to look at in big D and let's finish it up with the guy who has been touted for the last couple of years as a big play guy, but he's becoming a consistent target out there in Indianapolis, a favorite of Anthony Richardson. It's not Michael Pittman Jr. It's Alec Pierce out there in the 10 targets, eight catches 180 yards, two touchdowns and by the way, 26 yards per catch, Alec Pierce is proving to be a bona fide red zone gem because of the way anything Richardson just runs all over the place. He seems to be the guy that always tends to get open. So he's the guy I'm going to look at on this waiver wire this week. So we're going to go Talbert when you go, Henry, we're going to go out Pierce and we're going to go to Samajepi Ron. There are the four guys that I think that you really need to zone in on. I know everybody's going to have the favorites. That's all about the favorites. We're talking about people that maybe nobody else is talking about. I know so many guys have been mentioned, but I don't think as heavy as I am giving them to you. Now let's get into Thursday night football and every single Thursday night we drop a lot of bets. We drop parlays. You'll see me get on there with some jigsaw crazy parlays and make sure you're getting locked in to windowsports.com 50% off still with the cohort geek because you're listening to this podcast, you can get a month for $25. You can get a quarterly, which is three plus one four months for $75. Oh, and by the way, by the way, you can get a year for $250. I could tell you man, there has been so many people that have signed up for that deal that are loving it over the past two weeks. Jason Mizrahi posted in our premium discord the latter bet for Josh Jacobs. People hit over $5,000 just this week. I am telling you I'm not exaggerating. Pull it up. So make sure you get locked in heat at 80 80 and get that 50% off. Oh, by the way, you have me as your personal guideline to get you all those deals hop on a zoom. Get me an email Tony at windowsports.com and I will make sure you're taken care of. Now let's get to Thursday night football. Shall we slide? I love this bet over one and a half field goals made at minus one oh five as we do this pod right now. He has six attempts in three games and this new England offense with remandary Stevenson who we're going to get in a minute is an old school type offense under Jarad Mayo that just likes to pound the rock and just likes the short passing game. And I like this because they're always ready to settle for points. Take the points when given and Joey Sly has had six attempts in the last three games and there's no reason for me to believe that on a Thursday night game, you saw what happened in last week. You saw what happened in the first week. There has been a ton of field goals on Thursday night because it's a short week. Everybody's a little rusty. Everybody's a little tired. So it's easy for them to kick the ball. So I like Joey Sly over one and a half field goals made at minus one oh five now speaking of remandary Stevenson the bell cow in New England. He has gotten at least 20 attempts 25 and 21 in his last two games. It's again because of the way the offense is flowing. He's over right now as it's 16 and a half a little juice at minus one fifteen but still a very attainable bet and very valuable in a sense that you put a couple extra cycles on that minus one fifteen. I think that over 16 and a half especially against the jets. This is going to be a lot of running in these two from both of these systems in this game. And you want to make sure that number one guy remandary Stevenson gets those 16 and a half attempts because he's probably going to get about 20 to 22 in this game. How about Hunter Henry right back to the well I told you about the waiver wire. How about over three and a half at plus money plus money over three and a half perceptions of plus one oh five. He has 10 receptions in two game. He's looked at early and often he's essentially the number one option in this offense especially with Jacoby percent at the helm. So lock that in over three and a half at plus money a plus one oh five and let's go to the New York Jets side. This is a total gut call. I'm going our Rogers over one and a half touchdowns a plus money plus one ten Aaron through one in week one he threw two last week and with the coming out party of Braylon Allen he's going to get even more comfortable. So I like him to throw possibly three this week. So I think this over one and a half our Rogers the way he's going to throw the short pants again. He's going to be a different quarterback. They're not going to get 300 yard games for our roger get 170 to 200 yard games with multiple touchdowns and it's going to be efficient enough with running and receiving from Breeze Hall as well. So I like to over one and a half at plus one ten and let's get the best of Braylon Allen over 20 and a half yards rushing at minus one fifteen that's the F five yards per carry 33 yards last week. They just start to throw him in there. He didn't take away from Breeze Hall. Okay, Breeze Hall still got his rushing and receiving didn't get the tuddies. I get it but at the end of the day Braylon Allen will be on the field to spell Breeze Hall and they are going to be a run style of attack to keep Aaron Rodgers at bay to keep the pressure off of him and that Achilles remember he's a 40 year old quarterback who still recovering from a major injury. So you do not want to see him on the ground and how do you keep him upright? You limit the attempts at under 30 and you rust the ball a lot. So I like Braylon Allen over 20 and a half yards at minus one fifteen. That's it people. I told you where you keep this simple. Okay, you got your four waiver while our priorities. You got the Thursday night football bats. This is spiking the pigskin. This is Tony Ticco Catillo. Alright Phil, we're recording now so it's live. Go ahead, pick on me the way that you want to. Did I say that? I would say that to my son, man, I mean come on man. Just go. This isn't CBS. Alright, be quiet for a few seconds. Why would people want to listen to the Sims Complete Podcast? Well, a couple of things. One, if you'd like to see sons pick on their father, this might be the place. If you want to see a place where the father just kicks the s*** out of his son, this would be the place. What do you like about it, Matt? Dido. Father's son, Dynamic Duo, talking about the game of football that we love and share and appreciate together and you know, hey, it's an extension of what we did, right? Growing up. I was able to watch my father play football, then obviously watch him as a broadcaster and then he taught me the game of football and share the wisdom that he learned throughout his playing career and you know, hey, sometimes we're full of it and sometimes we actually know a thing or two. Well, we do do a lot of research. At least I do. You, you little spotty, but you know, you're hanging in there. It's fun. I love doing this and it's been awesome. Sims Complete. Check us out wherever your podcasts are available on the Believe Network. I appreciate it. See ya. If you liked the show, please take a moment to rate, review and subscribe. It really does help the show to grow. Thank you for listening. Bye. (crowd cheering) You
